so this is a kind of not-so-surprise for my friend @sinclarsupremacy , bc they were the first person i showed this two and was on the phone with me the whole time while i made it. didn't give a single thing away until everything was scanned and done. five dead pens and one reliable sharpie later, i show him this. wanted to get used to drawing the slipsour guyz more but also wanted to articulate something i have troubles saying to important people. this is kind of an ode to all my close friends ive made who i definitely wouldve hung around some graveyards with, and an ode to some bands i didnt know id like as much as i do 🫶

Sup y'all its me and my shitty theories that is centered in tales of arcadia (TOA).

Claire and Wizard/Witches might not be a complete human.

Sounds Crazy? Why? Remember when Morgana stated that she and Claire are magical creatures? Yeah, that; Morgana seems to imply that Claire is no ordinary human like her. Wizards/Witches might be eldritch abominations or spiritual beings in a form of human flesh. (Including her, douxie, and merlin.) Hear me out, Wizards or witches are incarnations of every element, principle or something-something. Morgana is the incarnation and representation of Redemption (Her freeing herself from her own sins.), Claire being the incarnation and representation of Connection. Douxie being the incarnation and representation of Acception, Merlin being Realization (At this point I don't even know what I am even saying.) (ok you know what this is just a rant of mine)

Changelings are a disembody (opposite of mirror) of their Human Familiars

This one's not really a theory, probs canon. But still, Changelings and their characteristics are the opposite of their Human. Their changeling form is the true fake while the human form is the true nature.

Merlin/The amulet choosing Jim as the new trollhunter wasn't because of random reasons.

The amulet could feel jim's heroisim hiding deep in his soul. It could be also possible that Jim might be the vessel of daylight itself.

Bellroc being from another dimension or timeline, desperately trying to restore balance (control) to their own world. This isn't really a theory of mine, just a random thought lol.

The amulet knows.

The amulet always knows. Even after Jim time-travelled and decided to let Toby become the hero, the amulet knows. This ending would just tell that whoever finds the amulet becomes the trollhunter, and that's stupid. From the start, the amulet knew that Jim IS the trollhunter, the one that would bring glory to all. I think that It was implied that jim not being the trollhunter would lead the world to doom (clearly explained in the episode unbecoming). SO, jim deciding toby's 'destiny' would just leave to another disaster to the world.

Gaylen is a type of fairy, somehow.

He literally looks like a fucked up fairy, look at the spike-thingy on his back, they resemble a fairy's wings. And also, also--He originated from earth.

By my calculations Joker should be only 37 years old 😭 Given he becomes joker at 22 - is active as joker for the 6 years dick grayson is Robin, plus the 3 years he’s active as joker during Jason’s Robin tenure - 22 + 9 = 31, then given the 6 years Tim has been Robin (Tim started age 12 and should be around 17-18 presently so 6 years) that puts joker at 37 which is hilarious considering that he is drawn like a shriveled raisin 80 percent of the time. And Bruce would be older than him by 3 years putting Bruce at 40. Idk why but the fact that dc accidentally made joker canonically younger than Bruce is making me laugh so hard 😂 Also the fact that he’s mostly a harmless clown during his twenties (golden age era with dick grayson) and then immediately turns dark and murders Jason (Robin) the second he enters his 30’s reeks of a midlife crisis tbh

I think you might've omitted the first 3 years before Dick's time as Robin, though? Both Batman and Joker became active in the same year. However, Bruce adopted Dick in his third year as Batman. So, using your estimations, Joker's age should actually be: 22 (Joker's age) + 3 (up to Dick's time as Robin) + 6 (Dick's time as Robin) + 3 (Jason's time as Robin) + 6 (Tim's time as Robin). That's 40-years-old for Joker and 43-years-old for Bruce, which is why I made my estimate early- to mid-forties.

I also had in mind Fraction's Many Happy Returns story, from Detective Comics (2016) #1027, which contains flashbacks year by year and stops at Year 22. This theoretically makes Bruce and Joker even older than my estimate (44-years old for Joker, 47-years-old for Bruce):

And yeah, it's so funny that Joker is younger. Movies have given people the impression that Joker is at least a decade older, but that's not the case in comics at all. Although, Joker might be younger, but he's still listed by DC as officially taller than Bruce =)) Joker is 6'5, and Bruce is 6'2. Which does send me, because in that drawing of Joker's from above, he's taller.

...Joker was definitely going through a crisis of some kind in his thirties though. The Killing Joke technically occurs like 6 months before Death in the Family, and it's famously about Joker desperately trying to prove a point, and failing. It wasn't a great year for Joker in terms of mental stability, that's for sure.

Hi! Here's a slight angsty idea. What if Jim was taken at four and raised by Bellroc and Skreal due to them finding out he would be the next trollhunter?

Wow, an angsty idea, indeed!

I say that the Arcane Order will do everything to disconnect Jim from humanity. Obviously, there will be indoctrination about humans being vile and wretched creatures, the true scum of the planet, only deserving to be exterminated. I also feel that Bellroc and Skrael will pour their magic into Jim, attempting to alter his species as well, though they pick a gradual approach, so that Jim still ages like a human and they have their champion ready fast enough.

Obviously, Jim is oblivious that he's one of loathsome humans - he thinks he simply looks like one. He believes that Bellroc and Skrael are his true parents, and as he has some control over both ice and fire, it seems plausible.

Green Knight is Jim's sword teacher in this AU, and he's the only member of the Arcane Order Jim doesn't like as Green Knight is rather hostile and cold towards him. Jim also joins Green Knight on his missions where he either hunts Merlin's associates or looks for Nari and is forced to kill people there.

However, Jim doesn't follow the Order's indoctrination blindly. Seeing the human society on his missions makes him question if humans are actually that irredeemable as he sees some good sides rather regularly. Bellroc and Skrael simply explain it with 'the humans are just that good in hiding their viles'.

The Order initially doesn't go for 'let's start a magic apocalypse'. They keep it as a last reserve, planning to bet everything on Morgana's plan (which is teaming up with Gunmar). They are fine as long as humanity is erradicated.

Bellroc and Skrael decide to team up with the Janus Order and put Jim there as their representative and supervisor (they are the only party that knows about the latter though). Nevertheless, Stricklander feels that something is off and takes Jim to live with him (and enrolls him in the school) to have him busy and under constant surveillance. Strickler isn't that sure what kind of being Jim is, but he can bet that Jim is at least partially human (much to Jim's chagrin). They have a lot of arguments about humanity.

Jim meets Toby in the school and befriends him (well, more like Toby forces himself into the friend position, and Jim has no idea how to say 'no'). He also sees Claire and starts to develop feelings for her (which he cannot explain and is a bit scared of). Barbara is Strickler's girlfriend in this AU, so Jim meets her when she visits. Barbara believes that her son is dead, but talking to Jim invokes some odd familiarity (and Jim feels the same).

All those new connections make Jim waver a lot. In the end, he isn't evil - he's still a rightful guy who believes he does the right thing, protecting magic creatures from humans.

And he also cannot escape from his fate as he finds the amulet one day. The right thing from his point of view should have been delivering it to Strickler, but Jim decides to keep it and play his own game. He pretends to be the enemy of Bular and the protector of the Trollmarket, claiming it's for giving the Janus Order more space and time for finishing Killahead in peace. He promises to bring the amulet after that.

Yet new bonds with both humans and good trolls make Jim question all his previous actions, and he betrays Arcane Order at the last second, choosing to walk his own path and decide for himself.

Bellroc and Skrael don't know about it for a while as Jim keeps reporting to them finding plausible excuses. Only after Jim contacts Merlin and slays Gunmar, they realize that Jim, like Nari, has abandoned them.

The Arcane Order is deadset on returning and punishing Jim afterward (much like Nari) as he is a family member for them.

Some random Winx designs I did for OCs in another random AU that I dunno if will be expanded on much but like, from left to right:

The Fairy of The Gods Flames, Reese grew up on Earth as a lover of anything fantasy, especially fairies, refusing to not see them as stories like her adopted father did, and she's ultimately proven right to do so when on her birthday, Reese encounters a fairy named Lia in a fight and in the process of trying to help, discovers she's a fairy as well when using magic for the first time. The Fairy of Space, Nova hails from the world of Montressor and after being discovering she's a fairy, Nova would end up going to Alfea...for about one year, before she ultimately decided to transfer to Red Fountain, seeing more appeal in becoming a specialist then a guardian fairy, but despite trying to not use her magic form and powers so she doesn't have an advantage over her team, Nova sometimes is forced to use them at times if its too much in a fight.

If Bellroc and Skreal had stolen Jim from Barabra, say around five or six to be their champion and their spy against Merlin, how different do you think the shows events would have gone?

Whether or not he still fell in love with Claire would be up to you.

Hmm in that case I imagine Bellroc and Skrael would ensure they raise Jim to hate all humans and be completely loyal to them. I'd imagine them telling young five year old Jim that he was actually abandoned and they saved him.

That would change everything. It's only when Jim went undercover at Arcadia Oaks High School he began to question what he had been taught. And yes, it would involve Claire of course.

Reason's why Jim Lake jr is Hiccup's descendant (and not tom he can go eat shit)

The httyd world and TOA world might be in the same universe.

Astrid once mentioned trolls and used them as an insult "son of a half-troll rock eating!—" and Gobber also said "Trolls exist! They steal and eat your socks, but only the left ones"

Familiar right? Trolls in the TOA world are attached to socks and those are their meals and snacks.

Gnomes and trolls also exist when hiccup stated "that it'll scare gnomes and trolls"

In the Trollhunters museum we can see that Stoick's helmet along with the Viking ship placed in the museum, while his sword was in the hero's Forge. The yaknog jug Astrid carried also appeared in Trollhunters. (The episode where blinky and the others went into Gato's mouth)

Jim's Armor also shares much similarities to Httyd's armors.

Charlemagne isn't much old to exist in the Viking years. He and other dragons could've probably evolved through the years as he looks more of a troll-dragon mix.

Sentinels are also stone creatures (dragons) made out of LIVING stone (much like Trolls), this could be the ancestors of The troll dragons from ROTT movie and also evolved through the years that they could adapt not just rocks and stones but also gems and crystals for skin. The only problem is Sentinel's can survive in the sun while trolls can't, which leads to my other theory.

(sentinel and troll dragon theory) Troll dragons might be the offspring of a sentinel and Troll forming a hybrid that's called The troll dragons. And throughout the years these troll dragons have adapted other environments which made them only not have rock/stone for skin but also gems and crystals.

Now moving on to Jim and Hiccup.

But how is Jim Hiccup's descendant?

— Jim and Hiccup share similarities. (A lot) Jim and Hiccup are both goofy but have a brave heart, they both would sacrifice themselves for their loved ones. They will do everything just to accomplish what they desire. (They're also very embarrassing to be around their crush *cough* Astrid and Claire)

Both grew up being good at weaponry. They were both struck at lightning. Not to mention they kinda look alike and Young hiccup used to Hunt trolls, and Jim in the books was in a blood line of Troll hunters

Barbara's side of family is probably Hiccup's blood continuing, Barbara (somehow) lowkey has potential being a relative to hiccup (both are brunette's too, and her blue eyes match Astrid's) Barbara also looks (not a lot, but it works) like Valka. (Zephyr also had brown hair and blue eyes.)

The troll-market looks identical to the hidden world as it has many glowing/magic crystals/gems and other stones. (The heart stone looks like the giant crystal that the light furry and toothless made their roars as the queen and king of dragons in the hidden world)

And in the first episode of the Trollhunters Toothless made a cameo as an easter egg and wallpaper for jim's laptop.

The book of dragons would be a historical artifact that's probably laying on Charlemagne's Cave (i forgot what it's called lol)

Maces and Talons also made an appearance with Blinky and Draal.

Arcane Order

—This could also mean that the bird-dragon like mask that Bellroc wore was from a dragon they probably slayed.

The bewilder beast might have been created by Skrael's magic (these demi gods have long life and magic and they would create anything they wanted) Skrael probably thought of creating a creature that would inherit his Ice based magic.

How Trollhunters made me terrifed of Highschool. (A Life story)

Ahem hello world, no I am not dead. Now thats out of the way:

Here is how Trollhunters planted a fear in my head before I went to highschool. For those who don't know i'm currently 16. Which means I am now in my final year of Highschool, But it also means i've had this fear for around 6 years and now it's comeing true.

What is this fear you ask? How does it link to trollhunters? I'll tell you.

Do any of you remember that one episode where Jim has to turn small to catch a gnome? And in the process, miss a day of school and miss being there to a spanish exam? Well I remember it well.

And no, my fear isn't missing a school test. But it is to do with learning a forgien language. Back when i watched trollhunters for the first time, I was learning Spanish in my Primary school. And i hated it. I just couldn't memerise anything that was said but hey i was 9 or 10 soooo. Moving back to the episode.

Jim's exam was a speaking exam. A freaking speaking exam. My little mind couldn't handle the fear of having to 1) Speak infront of anyone at school. And 2) Speak in a language that isn't English.

So the fear of one day having to do it stuck in my mind all that time. And it made me scared that once i'm in a highschool i would have to do that exam.

Time passes. And i was put into a class to learn German. Do i like German? No. Did i get a choice? Hahahaha no. No i DID not. Anyway so that fear climbed it's way back to the front of my mind. And stayed there.

And ALSO i only stayed in that class because i "Knew how to do the work that one else did" WELL TEACHER, MABYE THAT'S BECAUSE THE ANSWERS WERE ON THE BACK OF THE BOOKLET AND NO BODY ELSE BOTHERED TO NOTICE!. Ahem. So now i'm stuck not only doing German, but the harder course. I barley understood the normal course.

And you guessed it, I have to do a speaking exam before i leave the school. And it's the thing i've been dreading since i was young.

So yea, thats my story. If i'm still hear by the time i finish school i'll tell the story of how it went. BUT until then. I will just be thinking of how everytime i rewatched that one trollhunters episode i got shivers before i even got into highschool, all because of the speaking exam.
