1 actually started off as a prompt on Tumblr! Arthur's epilepsy is a tightly guarded secret of his and is generally well controlled, but working with/protecting Cobb since he went on the run has taken a toll on Arthur's health and he starts to suffer the consequences of that during the Fischer job. This results in Eames learning about Arthur's epilepsy and both of them having to contend with the fact that Arthur maybe isn't as okay as he always insists he is. An excerpt:

“How many cups does this one make so far today?”

Arthur glanced over as Eames came up beside him at the counter, frowning. “What’s it to you?”

“Nothing, really.” Eame shrugged. “Just trying to figure out how badly you’ve managed to screw up my whole Gauge How Far Into The Job We Are By How Much Coffee Arthur’s Chugging system. I mean, bloody hell darling, I’ve only been here a few hours and I’m pretty sure this is already the third cup I’ve seen you get. The job is barely even a week old.”

Arthur rolled his eyes. “Fuck off, that system’s bullshit and we both know it.”

“Well now it is, thanks to you. ” Eames sighed dramatically. “It was a good system up until now, though. Very accurate.”

“I’m so very sorry to have disrupted it. My almost sincere condolences.”

“I suppose I’ll get over it one day.” Eames let out another dramatic sigh as he leaned against the counter. After a moment he looked over, eyebrows raised. “Seriously, though, you’re really going at it hard early on. You don’t usually look this terrible until later in the job, either.”

Arthur leveled an exasperated look at him. “Thank you, Eames. You really know how to compliment a guy.”

“Mm.” Eames took another sip of coffee as Saito slipped out. It was good that the facility was finally hiring another psychologist. Dix Unit had 42 patients at full capacity- and it was rare that they weren’t at full capacity- and that was far too many for him to manage by himself. Twenty-one patients was still a heavy load, but it was at least manageable. Having a colleague would make his job infinitely easier.

Working with Dr. Cohen, though, might not. To be fair, Eames didn’t know the man. Not really. He’d read several reports written by Cohen but they’d never actually interacted. He had a reputation though, and in a field as small as theirs, that mattered. He was excellent at his job, no one contested that- the reports of his that Eames had read were thorough, meticulous, and clearly written with testimony in mind, and Eames knew he’d already gained himself a reputation as someone not to be taken lightly on the stand. He was known to be…difficult, though. Kinder descriptions painted him as distant and aloof. Less kind ones described him as a downright asshole. Eames knew the reality was probably somewhere closer to the middle, but that wasn’t exactly comforting either.
