well in any case i may as well answer this here and then rb it onto the 'right' blog??

there is the... entirety of the Initial reboot that I'm working on but that's... now in another state of being In Progress and also like. kind of goes beyond headcanons.

i think the main ones that come to mind for the original show would be:

-Stephanie i can see having a lot more proficiency in electronics than she lets on-- there is that one arcade ep.

-I think the 'funnest' one i have is. okay. so in terms of some reboot concepts i do think it's very fun to like, have dexter and freakazoid be separate people-- and i believe paul rugg even stated he thought as much.

For the original show, though? Dexter's initial character is...... eh. we get some indication of some things here and there but otherwise if we're going JUST by the original canon he's... pretty stereotypical nerd, all things considered.

Part of this was probably because of the bit of like 'how plain Dexter is compared to Freakazoid' but it's also because apparently they just... had no motivation to write him? Not because they hated him mind you-- but in a sense of 'they had no mandate to write dexter-centric episodes so they usually... didn't'. which i think is a bit of a shame in that i think there was potential to make dexter be, well, funny.

Anyway, all this leading up to-- i actually think it's way more interesting to see og dexter and freakazoid as being the same person, just because it makes dexter's character a little more interesting by implication. The idea that freakazoid is just dexter but without the social inhibitions (and maybe internet induced insanity? I mean that's what the theme song SAYS but in practice he's more. just a guy?)

To Hollow the Soul : So self indulgent and the first story i wrote for freakazoid. It stars mainly dexter and an oc Geist who is a clone of freakazoid.

The Thaw: Warming up to Friendship: First attempt at a prequel, and I love barry sam and len in this. flash is a delight to write i tell you. i think this fed into billy's story in thundersnow really well and got me to write part of tight rope.

Sapphire, Rubí, Esmeralda!: this one isn't talked about much anymore but Donald duck in college with magic was a jam for a while. i still like this starting fic/

Thundering Hooves : a cowboy, vigilante, and a knight, shining knight live on a ranch. what more could you want? and all the silly research i ended up doing lol

Accidental Nephew: I like this because peter interacts with so many villains and is the start of the series going nuts.

exists in a totally different realm. multi ship story that follows 2 main story lines (that will eventually converge ofc):

James and Lily are partners at the Phoenix, an organization in charge of powerful castaways (ie: James) who have committed some sin or another and now have to serve time before they're allowed back to whatever realm they're originally from. so, James comes to the Phoenix, and he is paired w/ Lily and they are basically. well fighting crime? like they are sent out to capture/kill other supernatural beings disturbing the balance. they happen upon regulus black, who is an unregistered Reaper (big no no). nobody knew he existed, but even more importantly is that his brother is Sirius Black, #1 on the Phoenix most wanted list..chaos ensues or whatever..

Sirius is a Reaper and he's run away from home. He's deep in hiding using a ton of his power, disappeared without a trace, until some guy sort of just plucks him right out of his hiding place like "hey so I heard you're supposedly a super powerful reaper in charge of death and spirits and wtv soooo umm can you help me track someone down?"
