Today, I received the biggest item in my Puppet Master collection and probably the best gift I've ever gotten in my life. Rick Phares, former head of Full Moon Toys and currently heading Full Moon's upcoming collectible line, just sent me the original prototype Blade action figure. This was the exact figure featured in toy magazines, print ads, and the two Puppet Master toy commercials. It is amazing to compare this to the final released figure and note the differences, like the different hair or the hat, and the velcro-front coat. On an even more personal note, Blade was the most sought after toy of my entire childhood. I am absolutely speechless.

NECA will release a Puppet Master ultimate action figure two-pack with Six-Shooter & Jester in December. Priced at $35, the 4.5" figures join Blade & Torch and Pinhead & Tunneler from 2021.

Six-Shooter includes removable hat and bandana, 18 interchangeable hands, and six revolvers. Jester includes three interchangeable heads, four interchangeable hands, removable hat, scepter, tenderizer, and scalpel. They're packed together in a window box based on Andre Toulon’s puppet case.

Night at The Haunted Mansion

Folks say that this mansion houses 999 happy haunts, including several prominent ghosts from all over the world; that the house has wall-to-wall creeps, and hot and cold running chills. But who would ever believe such a thing, right? ….right??

I took this photo for BrickCentral’s theme last month. I wanted to give it the feeling of an old spooky black and white film so I shot at a high ISO to add grain and added some heavy vignetting. One effect I was also happy with is I overlayed a blurred copy of the image and masked it just around the outside edges to give it a soft glow.

I built the front gate for the mansion after buying a pair of custom print tiles for the plaques on the gate. My goal is to eventually have a larger base for the mansion so I can add the pathway, some trees and maybe a few other fun surprises.

First look at Full Moon's upcoming Tiny Terrors figures.

From the trailer for their next movie, 12 Slays of Christmas. The Tiny Terrors were first announced 22 years ago, when I was at my peak youthful obsession. Initially, they were just going to be Puppet Master figures and they were among the last things announced by Full Moon Toys before the company went under in 2000. Last month, Full Moon announced they were finally happening, but didn't show any of the new designs, so I assumed Band, never one to let go of a concept, just kept the idea and started from scratch. The new figures will include numerous other Full Moon characters, but what's truly stunning is that the Puppet Master ones appear to be using the original sculpts, just with some minor upgrades. That is absolutely wild to me. I was so stoked for those toys when they were cancelled back in the day, and now those exact figures are finally coming out. It's completely surreal.

Full Moon has released a full-scale replica of the bloodstone from the Subspecies franchise. Cast from the screen-used prop, the light-up statue measures 8.5" high, 7" long, and 5" wide.

Limited to 300, it costs $299.95. A certificate of authenticity signed by director Ted Nicolaou and producer Charles Band is included.
