oh....... i suggested damme and tomme bc i didn't think you would be approving of bisexuals who use femme and butch since we often get called lesbophobic by radfems/gencrits for claiming terms that have always belonged to us. i consider tomme an alternate identity in online spaces because i also want to avoid harassment, but if i can feel safe being butch then i would much prefer that!

i also apologize for my mis-wording, i didn't mean to say that you "push" doe/stag on bisexuals. i think that since i saw all your related content on this blog and assumed they were the only bi terms you worked with, since there aren't many to choose from.

i still believe bi woc who want terms but are uncomfortable with the antiblackness of d/s and the lesbian association (meaning their sexuality will likely be erased) with f/b deserve something. i thought d/t would do that perfectly but not if they could get in trouble for being terfs or whatever. :/

I have not heard a good argument against bi women using butch/femme. Historically (and tbh this is still the attitude of many older women) "lesbian" was used to describe behavior I.e. a woman seeking a relationship with a woman, rather than an orientation. It's likely that some butch "lesbians" were in fact febfems. So I think it's ok to use butch as long as you're not het partnered.

That said agree that bisexual women deserve terms of our own (and if damme/tomme works for you, go for it)!

I know it’s probably too late, but please watch out for transmisogyny and anti-trans rhetoric if you’re looking into radical feminism - the exclus > RadFem > TERF pipeline is very real, tears apart so many friendships, and is a very scary and genuine threat to so many trans people. I’ve already seen a lot of phrases in your posts that are prominent TERF dogwhistles, and I know you’re nonbinary but it definitely doesn’t make you immune to this kind of thing. Don’t think you’re immune to falling into harmful anti-trans views, and always keep a look out. You’re already in their hands.

lmfaooooooooo can anons stop pleading with me like i'm being manipulated into this? i chose to think for myself, i chose to leave the trans cult, i gained personal respect for radfems who speak out and fight against the bullshit and i'm grateful it all started with the exclus discourse because it just kept snowballing views that made more and more sense and gave me something to want to defend. [i made an entire sideblog earlier this month] dedicated to this as i'd rather keep it separate from pride-cat from here on out (excluding these types of asks that keep the topic relevant, of course, so thanks for that).

oh - and enough with the "this is a threat to trans people" "harmful anti-trans views" - pause for a moment and think about the harm that your fantasy cult has done to women around the world. maybe actually read some radfem posts and blogs and you'd see it, assuming you're not willfully ignorant and determined to remain so since i wasn't.

men lose my empathy so fucking fast.

so i’m reading the body keeps the score, it’s a book mainly about trauma and PTSD.

in the veterans chapter i almost started to feel bad for the patients. there was a patient who had to check into a hotel on july 4th, couldn’t STAND the sound of his own children laughing because of all the dead children in vietnam, things like that. i started to feel empathetic, and then of course.. the man reveals what he did in vietnam. after his buddies were gunned down by the vietnamese, he stormed over to a local village and murdered 30 innocent people, and violently raped and then murdered a mother in front of her children.

i immediately don’t give a fuck what kind of trauma you went thru if women and children always face the brunt of your aggression

Struggling to deal with the fact that feminism has slowly gone from "liberation for women" to "equality for everyone" and now if your feminism is actually female centric and not about everyone else (men specifically) it means you're an awful selfish bitch who should educate herself and is told to suck dick which honestly feels like the modern version of "watch your mouth or I'll wash it with soap".

i’ve always hated my boobs and how my nipples are so puffy and point downward. i’ve Never Ever In My Life seen another woman with breasts like mine. Isn't it kind of horrible how I as a woman have to always watch my language when describing my own experiences as a human female?

Nothing about my existence, even my terminology, isn't mine anymore. Anyone can be female or a woman if they want to. But I am a birthing body.

And I'm a horrible bigoted bitch if I say I don't want to be a vulva haver or a birthing person or a menstruator, I want to be a woman. Why do you get to say you are one, but I don't? Is it because of my vagina? But you said oppression based on genitals isn't real?

Or maybe what you mean isn't that it doesn't exist, just that if I am good enough I can be safe from it. As long as you feel I deserve it. Which isn't misogynistic of course. It's just standing up for yourself against this evil cunt of a vagina owner bitch who dared to step out of line! And that makes it okay, justified even. Good, good, put her in her place!
