Fun idea:
When Shang Qinghua is particularly stressed the world glitches to his benefit
Cargo that should take weeks to travel through the mountains take a moment
- The people in the caravans are dazed and don't know what happened
- Shang Qinghua thinks Mobei Jun helped him
Monsters that are about to attack him glitch sideways so they miss
- Shang Qinghua thinks it was Mobei or luck
- other people around think he's good at dodging if they notice
Supplies that are empty glitch and refill
His inkstone that's dried out or run out glitches and is fresh again
The peak lords are fighting with him about his budget and he closes his eyes and grits his teeth and misses how everyone glitches and just hears someone say they should let him do what he thinks is best
Here's my added bit of fun:
Heavenly demons can see the glitches
Luo Binghe seeing An Ding disciples driving a cart suddenly pop out of nowhere with a weird scratchy sound
Luo Binghe passing through Bai Zhan and seeing destroyed training dummies twitch and pull unnaturally before turning back into fresh new ones
Luo Binghe seeing Shen Qingqiu say the forms from An Ding can wait as he walks across the room only to pop out of existence only to appear at his desk filling in the forms
It doesn't happen often but it happens enough
Enough he makes an excuse to go somewhere where he can see the Peak Lord of An Ding and while everyone one else sees a mousy little coward Luo Binghe hears the weird scratch sound coming from him.
Sees the bends in reality around him
Sees an ever shifting face
He doesn't know what Shang Qinghua is
All he knows is it's not human, he's the only one who can see it, and it makes him very very scared

I was thinking about Xie Lian being able to snap the Xin Mo sword in half with his bare hands again, and then I thought to myself... "Wait, Xie Lian and Luo Binghe interaction could be really cute, though?"
Like, let's say that Xie Lian, during his time as a wandering trash god, accidentally falls into an interdimensional rift and ends up in the SVSSS world. His luck is bad like that. But while this is weird, sure, it's not that bad! The worlds are pretty similar and he can still make his living! So, Xie Lian wanders along as usual, curiously learning about this new world, picking through trash, occasionally punching demonic beasts to death to rescue awed civilians.
And at some point, Xie Lian runs into a young Luo Binghe while he's living on the streets. Let's say that Xie Lian rolls into town shortly before the death of Binghe's adoptive mother, has a few sweet encounters with this cute and kind child who doesn't have much to spare for a trash collector, and is there to comfort his new young friend when Binghe's adoptive mother passes away. Xie Lian is still there when Binghe gets thrown out onto the streets and he agrees to help the boy travel to Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.
So, Binghe gets to spend a month or two as a trash-collecting god's apprentice! He doesn't know that Xie Lian is a god. He suspects that Xie Lian is just a very powerful rogue cultivator who is living very humbly for some reason. The time isn't entirely pleasant, because life is hard and Binghe is grieving, but Xie Lian understands pain very well and is an excellent companion. He sees Binghe safely to Cang Qiong.
At which point, clingy Binghe does not want to separate from this extremely nice person, but Xie Lian insists on it. He wants Binghe to have a better life. He's worried that his bad luck will somehow spread to this poor boy who reminds him of so many other people he's loved and lost. Xie Lian supervises the confusing entrance exam, while the adult Cang Qiong cultivators desperately try to figure out who this strange person is (Airplane Bro is going "???!!!"), and then leaves wistfully. Binghe will later look back on this particular period of his life very fondly.
Xie Lian can then go in and out of the SVSSS plot as a person pleases! I think it would be very funny if Liu Qingge ended up with an unwilling crush on Xie Lian as well, when they have a spar for some reason and Xie Lian handily SLAMS him into the ground. Xie Lian would probably end up running into Tianlang-Jun and Zhuzhi-Lang somehow, both of whom I think would end up being a little obsessed with him.
I think that the best place to bring Xie Lian and Binghe back together is maybe after Binghe escapes the Endless Abyss. So that Binghe can have a nice cry session on Xie Lian's shoulder. Xie Lian can possibly then introduce Binghe to Tianlang-Jun and Zhuzhi-Lang. Or else generally fumble his way through facilitating Bingqiu actually communicating and being less of a painful mess. Shen Qingqiu (Shen Yuan) is very confused by this character?! Where did he come from??? Who is he??? He's very nice, though, and Shen Qingqiu is feeling maybe a liiiiittle jealous over Binghe.
(I don't know how to handle the System in this AU, but I do like the idea of the System just... not being able to handle Xie Lian. Xie Lian is a god from a different worldbuild. He kind of just breaks everything.)
(If you want to get a little angsty and ghostly, you could have a plotline in which Xie Lian helps the ghost of Shen Jiu somehow. Qijiu resolution?)
Binghe would probably be open to the idea of getting together with Xie Lian as well as Shen Qingqiu. He has a type! He is full of love! But Xie Lian is definitely not interested and is very good at wiggling away from come-ons, so Binghe respectfully doesn't pursue that passing thought / childhood crush, no matter what Tianlang-Jun is saying about threesomes again.
Binghe ends up using the (tamed? broken?) Xin Mo sword to send Xie Lian (his "gege") back to Xie Lian's own world. (Or Mobei-Jun could maybe do it?) Xie Lian has been gone for years and wants to see how his world is doing. Binghe tearfully promises to visit him regularly and to come get him WHENEVER HE WANTS. Xie Lian pats his head and agrees to stay in touch.
So, then Xie Lian tumbles out back into his own world and into the start of the plot of TGCF. And at any point in the plot of TGCF, he's now able to summon a heavenly demon from another dimension (with a super powerful sword that can move mountains?) who would absolutely be willing to fight all of heaven for him.
Xie Lian generally isn't going to do this, because he doesn't want to involve Binghe in his problems, even though Binghe is CHEWING THE WALLS with the desire to help him in return. However, Xie Lian does really like to go out with Binghe and Shen Qingqiu (and sometimes people like Airplane Bro and Mobei-Jun and Liu Qingge as well) to nice restaurants every other week or so. "So, what's new?" "Oh, I've ascended to heaven again and it's a little troublesome, ha ha. How are you?"
Hua Cheng is... nonplussed. On one hand, he's a little jealous. On the other hand, FINALLY, people can recognize that Xie Lian is the best person in the world. Luo Binghe has GOOD TASTE and is just some well-meaning kid whom Xie Lian likes a lot and who rightly thinks heaven sucks. Hua Cheng is determinedly shaking Luo Binghe's hand and giving him advice from a Ghost King to a future Demon Emperor.
(Tianlang-Jun CANNOT be allowed into Ghost City. He will NOT leave. I think that Hua Cheng is strong enough to throw him out if necessary, but Tianlang-Jun and Zhuzhi-Lang would just keep slipping back in somehow. Permanently banned from the gambling tables no matter what he offers, but Tianlang-Jun is still allowed to hang out at the Ghost City playhouse because he quickly becomes the favorite audience member of all of the ghost actors. He has AWFUL taste. Yin Yu hates them.)
(Also, I do think that Xie Lian would not really like the Xin Mo sword at all. E'ming is a beautiful baby boy made from and by Hua Cheng, who is Xie Lian's favorite person in the world who has never done anything wrong ever. Xin Mo is some random blade that destroys Luo Binghe's mental health and turns him into the worst version of himself! Xie Lian could and possibly should snap that possession sword like a twig.)

The Winds May Change

Fandom: SVSSS Pairing: Yue Qingyuan & Shen Jiu Summary: Newly-named head disciple Shang Qinghua realizes that the story has gone off-course when he notices that Yue Qingyuan and Shen Qingqiu are a lot more friendly with one another than they should be. Words: 1.4k
Shang Qinghua, formerly known as the Great Master Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky, was facing a dilemma: the protagonist hadn’t even arrived yet, and things had already gone off-course from his original work!
It was hard to pinpoint where exactly the change had happened, and now he was swearing at himself up and down for not paying enough attention to certain individuals during his time on Cang Qiong Mountain’s periphery as a lowly outer disciple of An Ding Peak— he should have noticed that a defining relationship of one exceedingly important character had turned out to be completely opposite from the way it was supposed to be.
The character in question was none other than that endlessly unfortunate scum villain, Shen Qingqiu. Now, Shen Qingqiu had only a few key relationships in the original work. Most important, of course, was his bitter cruelty toward the protagonist, and second after that was his far more complicated relationship with Yue Qingyuan. There were a few others, such as his rivalry with Liu Qingge, but these were by far the most important.
It just so happened that now, the relationship he had with the future sect leader was all wrong!
In the original work, Shen Qingqiu was supposed to avoid Yue Qingyuan whenever possible, lashing out at him with verbal barbs when avoidance wasn’t an option. Even at Shen Qingqiu’s most courteous, the sect leader would only get a cold shoulder. Now, though, the magnets that should have repulsed one another had somehow been turned around— instead of chatter about how strangely distant Shen Qingqiu was from one who was said to be his friend, the gossip revolved around how irritating it was to see him constantly clinging to Yue Qingyuan’s side.
And that was literal. Shang Qinghua alone could recall several times where he’d seen Shen Qingqiu snatch Yue Qingyuan by the wrist and tug him along somewhere, and any time they were in the same place the two positioned themselves so closely to one another that they were practically touching. At this rate, they just ought to hold hands everywhere they went, rather than trying to uphold any slight semblance of cool professionalism.
The first time Shang Qinghua had heard the rumors of their strange relationship, he was positive he had misheard. After he became head disciple and encountered the two of them together more often, though, he realized that, shockingly enough, those rumors were spot-on.
Watching Shen Qingqiu lean over to whisper conspiratorially into Yue Qingyuan’s ear, followed by a pleased smile blooming across the future sect leader’s face, was enough to make Shang Qinghua’s head spin.
What was going on here?
These two were supposed to have nothing more than a painful past piled high with misunderstandings after misunderstandings, beyond any hope of reconciliation. Now, they were being friendly with each other— not just courteous, but friendly friendly. One might even say intimate.
Shang Qinghua interrogated the system about this, but no matter how he tried, he never received an answer— the closest he got was [ Occasionally, there may be variables in the story beyond this system’s control. Good luck! ]
There was still no clue as to why or how these variables existed, and unfortunately, Shang Qinghua didn’t have much of a way to find out. It wasn’t like he could just ask— even though this Shen Qingqiu was friendly with Yue Qingyuan, his manner with the rest of his martial siblings was roughly the same as it was in the original. No matter how many sweet nothings he might whisper into his shixiong’s ear, there was no way that Shang Qinghua would get anything more than a distasteful curl of his lip.
How miserable it all was— if Shen Qingqiu’s character was already going to change, couldn’t he have become just ever so slightly easier to get along with?
Shang Qinghua wasn’t the only one who had problems with Shen Qingqiu’s behavior, of course. Even though this one might be a little better-tempered overall than the one in Proud Immortal Demon Way, he was still almost universally disliked. He still was Shen Qingqiu, after all, still the scum villain even if he’d managed to repair one particular relationship. That brought Shang Qinghua a little bit of relief— at least he shouldn’t have to worry about the story veering off too far from his original designs, so he would still have some idea what to expect.
Still, he was greatly curious about the change, so he always paid special attention to the gossip and complaints regarding that problematic shixiong.
“Who does that Shen Qingqiu think he is?” Qi Qingqi huffed, scuffing at the ground with the toe of her shoe as she sat next to the campfire Shang Qinghua had just finished lighting. “Just because he’s close with Yue-shixiong, that doesn’t give him the right to treat the rest of us like the dirt on his shoes.”
The two of them, along with Liu Qingge, were out on one of those tedious joint missions. It was Shang Qinghua’s first time going out with either of them— he had only ever met them at the twelve peaks’ annual tournament before, and briefly while doing odd jobs here and there. He had to admit, he couldn’t help but wonder about this pair’s opinions of the new-and-(perhaps)-improved Shen Qingqiu. In the original, Liu Qingge had been the one the scum villain hated most of all, while Qi Qingqi’s relationship with him hadn’t been too bad, all things considered.
Now, it seemed she tolerated him less than before. Of course, in this version it probably seemed that Shen Qingqiu had taken advantage of his past connection with Yue Qingyuan to parachute into the position of his future second-in-command. Qi Qingqi didn’t really think kindly of that sort of person.
“He has a little talent, but his personality makes me want to hit him,” Liu Qingge replied.
Oh? How interesting… this was far more generous than Liu Qingge ought to be at this time. Shang Qinghua listened in more closely as he worked to set up their tent.
“It’s not as though he is the best cultivator among us,” Qi Qingqi grumbled, “It’s all because he’s friends with Yue-shixiong that he can get away with his attitude… and he knows it.”
“Mn,” Liu Qingge replied, setting some fish he’d caught to roast over the fire. “You can’t say it’s all favoritism. Shen-shixiong is good with his sword and his cultivation is decent, especially for someone who only started practicing at fifteen. Maybe you should fight with him, then you’d get to hit him properly.”
Shang Qinghua was so stunned by this that he missed the tent pole and smashed his hammer into his finger. He yelped, dropping the hammer and cradling his injured hand against his chest. The other two glanced briefly in his direction before ignoring him once again.
Had Shang Qinghua heard that right?
Fifteen?
No… he distinctly remembered writing that Shen Qingqiu had joined the sect at sixteen.
Unless…
Ah!
How had that happened? Shang Qinghua was sure he hadn’t interfered in any of that!
Not to mention, what was with Liu Qingge’s attitude? Even calling Shen Qingqiu “shixiong” when he wasn’t around— did they really not hate one another to death this time?
“Shen-shixiong was fifteen when he joined the sect?” Shang Qinghua asked, hiding his nosiness behind idle curiosity.
“Oh right, Shang-shixiong was still an outer disciple then— Yue-shixiong showed up one day with him and recommended him to Qing Jing Peak. Yan-shibo hadn’t chosen her successor yet, and Shen Qingqiu ended up with the title less than two years later,” Qi Qingqi explained.
“And… Liu-shidi, what do you think of him?”
“He nearly beat me in a fight once,” Liu Qingge replied.
That alone was enough to cause Shang Qinghua’s jaw to nearly drop to the floor— he could barely restrain himself. This wasn’t the way things were supposed to go! No wonder Shen Qingqiu didn’t seem quite as miserable as Shang Qinghua had first envisioned him. His greatest rival, who thought almost nothing of him, now spoke of him with about as much respect as Liu Qingge ever showed. Not to mention, if Shen Qingqiu actually stood a chance of beating Liu Qingge, then that meant that his cultivation was much better than it was in the original as well!
Someone had changed the timeline. If Shen Qingqiu had come in at fifteen, that meant that the whole year he spent as Wu Yanzi’s disciple had been skipped over. If he was close with Yue Qingyuan… had something changed there? Had Qi-ge actually managed to come back in time? Had Shen Jiu been rescued before he had the chance to kill his old master?
If that was the case, then the accusations brought against him wouldn’t stand in this timeline. Fuck— an entire plotline with one of Bing-ge’s wives might have been messed up, not just the revenge plot!
But… didn’t that mean that Shen Qingqiu may not meet the same fate as he had in the novel?
Shang Qinghua bit his lower lip, hardly daring to hope. All this time, the system had made it perfectly clear that he couldn’t go too far outside the bounds of the story— but it seemed like the story was being changed with or without his meddling. He’d never thought he had a chance to make it out of this alive… but if even Shen Qingqiu’s fate could be changed, then who could say that Shang Qinghua’s would have to stay the same?

Mxtx x male reader
A cross over.
When a modern era young man transmigrated in PIDW that has crossovered with other Novel's such as MDZS & TGCF thing's are bound to be both fun & traumatizing!
-----
Name & Description are different but originally this was on my ao3 some things are arranged to suit it being an X reader. My ao3 is Elijah_Ezra.
TRANSLATION MAY NOT HE ACCURATE.
-- MAIN SHIPS WILL NOT HE CHANGED ( such as hualian , wangxian. )
-- SHEN YUAN IS NOT HERE.
shang qinghua is. I have favorite's.
-- Canon, what canon plot line?
-- Don't like, don't read.
-- Hate towards me or anyone is not tolerated.
-- This is a crossover.
-- A lot of spelling mistakes probably.
-- No upload schedule.
-- What Ships is reader in? I'm aiming for it to be a Liu Qingge X Reader however if this is not liked I take recommendations as well.
THIS IS PIDW TECHNICALLY NOT SVSSS.
• SHEN JIU'S PAST!!!!
• TW FOR THAT. PLEASE, STAY SAFE.
Shen (Name) groans and sighs before getting up from the chair to grab his sword Bǎohù
It was time for the Disciple selection..
He flew down and was immediately greeted by the peak lords he was well liked and loved unlike his elder brother Shen Jiu or also known as Shen Qingqiu.
That’s right he (Last name) ( First Name) , A lazy modern guy , died and transmigrated into PIDW not only that as an OC insert the scum villains younger brother!
Airplane , what kind of messed up tragic sad backstory did you need to give Jiu-Ge?!
Naturally they grew up together which meant his childhood sucked too!
Granted not that bad compared to him as that Qiu Jianluo took a very good liking to him and loved his naïve personality he was rarely beaten.
Which now knowing WHAT Qiu Jianluo liked and was thinking made him want to scream cry and rip off his skin to erase the feeling the skin that was touched by him.
What seemed liked innocent hugged were actually very much not innocent.
years later and after much trauma he became a peak lord!
So, that's that! Yippie hooray for you.
The (History of God's and Ghost's) "神与鬼的历史" (Shén yǔ guǐ de lìshǐ) peak lord!
It is the same ranking as Qing Jing Peak.
In this peak they learned about God’s and Ghost’s that are hidden and roaming around somewhere.
Their cultivation was communication with them.
Some Ghosts would occasionally help them when in need by lending them their strength.
In turn they would also help the ghost move on.
However, this is not safety assured as ghosts can be deceiving.
Shen (Name) would know himself, he’s half possessed by one called SYSTEM who forces him to do certain shit!
{ HOST, QIU JANLUO DID NOT NEED HIS DICK! }
Shen (Name) grimaces remembering that memory when the SYSTEM took control of his body and just chopped off someone’s dick.
‘ You didn’t need to use my body! ‘
{ D: Then, who else would SYSTEM posses? Your brother? No, thanks. }
‘ Die. ‘
{ SYSTEM will die when HOST 002 dies. }
Ah, right. Did he mention the author transmigrated with him?
Airplane Shooting towards the sky transmigrated into Shang Qinghua.
“ Didi, are you alright? You’re frowning. “ Shen Qingqiu asked snapping him out of his thoughts.
He hummed and looked towards the disciples hoping that today he will meet the protagonist Luo Binghe .
Yue QingYuan nodded at him and asked if he will choose a disciple.
Right, He himself rarely accepted new disciples they had to be specific and needed to be blessed or gained the attention of a god or ghost.
But as he looks down no one seems to have the veins that are gold or red.
Gold means a god has noticed them.
Glowing Gold means they have been blessed by one.
Red means a ghost has either noticed them or blessed them.
It was surprising to learn ghosts can bless people.
A ghost’s blessing boosts up your QI similar to the gods blessing but a ghost blessing also gives you luck while God’s give you some protection but not luck that would be on you!
Suddenly again he heard Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu fighting which is normal. However, they were fighting over a disciple.
He didn’t feel like getting involved and zoomed out before Shang Qinghua whispered to him.
‘ Bro, Go with Shen QIngqiu that’s Luo Binghe he took! ‘
he glared at Shang Qinghua for not telling him sooner and ran after Shen Jiu.
MEANWHILE…
SO, IT BEGINS TOUGHT A MAN WEARING SIMPLE WHITE ON A THRONE HIGH ABOVE WHERE NO ONE CAN REACH HIM.
THE man was beautiful with long brown hair and warm eyes.
The male wished he can help the poor soul yet, he is not allowed to interfere only drop some helpful information nothing more…
---
His peak was often described as a picturesque peak ( he was very proud of his peak ) adorned with tranquil ponds. The water is crystal clear, reflecting the beauty of the lily pads floating gracefully on the surface.
Koi fish gracefully glide through the water, their vibrant colors adding a touch of elegance.
The croaking of frogs adds a harmonious melody to the scene. The air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the sight of fluttering butterflies brings a sense of joy.
The overall ambiance feels inviting and pristine. Even the teachers and classes exude warmth and friendliness. It's a place where one can find solace and inspiration.
Near the peak lord's house you'll see a more beautiful building. The building is a shrine. Inside of it is a statue of the main god they learn about.
However, the statue isn't alone along with it is the God's husband.
The crown prince and also now heavenly emperor Xie Lian & his husband Crimson Rain Sought Flower Hua Cheng.
If you're lucky enough (or you're Shen (Name) ) you'll see silver butterflies flying around.
It make's a wonderful painting , silver Butterflies in the moonlight.
From the outside the shrine has an ornate and elaborate design, with intricate carvings.
Inside the shrine, you'll find a serene and reverent atmosphere.
To the side inside the shrine is a long table where offerings and candle's are lit.
His peak is always calm and right now that's where he wants to be not in his olders brother bamboo house with tension so high he's surprised the kid Luo Binghe hasn't fainted.
' It's the tea scene where he pours hot boiling tea on him ' he thinks.
He wishes he can move from his brother's side yet he can't.
The tea is poured , the child gasps and the master leaves looking back once at his brother.
Shen (Name) immediately goes to the poor disciple.
He grabs the towel from the table and gently wipe away the hot tea.
"I'm sorry, please don't mind my brother."
The child looks up naive brown eyes shining at him.
"N-no shifu it was this Disciples fault."
The peak lord can't help how his heart melts.
Shen (Name) from the past hated this scene and didn't understand why Shen Qingqiu did this. The Shen (Name) who he is now understands.
Luo Binghe's eye's and hair are similiar to Qiu Jianluo.
The child's name make it even worse. Luo Binghe..Luo...
Ning Yingying didn't help either immediately calling him A-Luo...
... something Qiu Haitang used to call her brother Luo-Ge...
Still, it's no excuse to what happened to this child but he can be sympathetic.
He'll show him around himself and leave he can't be absent from his peak but he can visit his brother and this child.
Maybe, in the way he'll see his cute shidi Liu Qingge.
Dropping off Luo Binghe at his dorm's in which he knows he won't be staying there longer Shen (Name) leave's and goes to the shrine.
He needs some advice..
He knows the god probably won't respond but he'll feel his presence and that's enough.

You guys know how giving someone your sword tassel is considered a love token in SVSSS? Bingqiu exchanging sword tassels.
Shen Qingqiu giving Binghe Xiu Ya's tassel when he's leaving to take care of some riot in the demon realm as a "good luck" charm and Binghe taking care of it in record time just to get back to his Shizun and get kisses.
One day Shen Qingqiu shows up at a peak lord meeting with Zheng Yang's sword tassel on Xiu Ya and Liu Qingge nearly has another qi deviation. Yue Qingyuan just smiles through the pain.

Fashion Fail: Three Demons and a Cultivator Loose in the Modern World
A scum villain crack au
It all starts when Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua collapse without any warning, appearing to be dead, (but still breathing)
Naturally Binghe is freaking the Hell out, as is all of Cang Qiong
But the dream demon interupts, revealing that something has taken their souls away to what appears to be another world, sincw he can’t access it
That’s all Binghe needs to start slashing holes through the universe (after stealing Xin Mo from the other Binghe)
With him he takes Mobei-jun, Sha Hauling, and Liu Qingge, who wasn’t invited but refused to be left behind
Eventually they find the right world, but its a strange one, where people live in moutains of steel and glass, and wear scandalously little clothing.
Liu Qingge looks as if he’s about to pass out when hr sees his first skinny jeans
Naturally three handsome men and a beautiful woman in cosplay is attracting a lot of attention. Too much in fact, and the requests for photos and autographs is starting to impeed the speed of their quest
So binghe makes the call for everyone to blend in, taking them to the first merchant shop he sees with clothing inside
Its a second hand store, with all sorts of options everywhere at cheep prices, because Binghe’s luck is just that good
Binghe chooses his clothing carefully. He listens to the female workers giggling about which outfit they’d want to buy if they could, and buys that, confident he’s picked an Outfit that will give him respect
Its a vivid red Prom Dress, floorlength skirt with a slit over one leg, off the shoulder straps. Binghe loves it. He looks beautiful.
Mobei-jun doesn’t care what he wears so he just grabs the first things he thinks he can put on
These end up being hot pink sweatpants and a real fur coat, plus crocks on his feet. He looks ridiculous, but he’s also huge and scary, so no one is gonna say it
Sha Hualing is having a great time. This worlds cultural clothing styles were made for her!
She ends up in a bikini with bright pink flamingos on it, plus a neon green feathery boa she drapes over herself like her old silks
Liu Qingge refuses to change. He’s not dressing in these absurd clothing styles, no matter how much Binghe insists it will help them blend in.
Fortunately it doesn’t matter, standing next to four people in equally good cosplay he mught look like an actor, but standing next to three weirdos he looks just as weird
The final touch is the three matching ducky hats on the three demons. Demon marks need to be disguised after all, but shifting is hard to do in this strange world, or any of their powers really
So ducky hats. It kinda works on mobei-jun (aka its so weird it fits) but it absolutely ruins Binghe’s gorgeous dress affect, and Sha hualing’s weird beach athestic
Now everyone is staring at the four of them for a very different reason, but at least they aren’t coming up to talk to them
What’s more, it’s because of their strange clothing they manage to find Shang Qinghua and Shen Qingqiu, who are both stuck in the hospital
Binghe and friends were given instruction to go there by some teenagers messing with them
Jokes on thrm, because while they were walking up a loud voice screams “my king?!!!”
Mobei’s head whips around so fast it gives him whiplash, but he doesn’t care. All he cares about is the small stranger shrieking at him from a high window, waving his arms excitedly and chattering like mobei’s beloved right hand
And beside him is a man who looks very like Shen Qingqiu’s plant body, Shen yuan
It takes a little while to get to then, shang Qinghua and Shen yuan can’t just leave the hospital intensive care ward, and the receptionist takes one look at four weirdly dressed people demanding she “release your captives” and calls security
It takes three break in attempts, a wheelchair, a seduction attempt (curtesy of sha hualing) and liu qingge fighting a vending machine with a real sword for them to be able to reunite with shen yuan and shang qinghua
Liu qingge takes one look at the paper hospital gowns and promptly faints
And there are many things to say, even more things to explain, like transmidiagation and the doctors trying to convince him it was all a dream, but the only thing that comes out of Shen Yuan’s mouth is: What the hell are you wearing?
Binghe, who up until that moment had been feeling confident, bursts into tears
it takes 30 minutes to get binghe to stop crying, to assure him shen yuan still loves him, he does look good, better than liu qingge - hey! Goes liu qingge in between faintings- and have shen Yuan internally confront and conquer his many bigotted views on gender and style in the name of reassuring his husband
Meanwhile mobei glares at shang qinghua, silently demanding compliments for dressing up
Shang qinghua: …that’s what you’re wearing my king? (Mobei glare increases) it looks…unique
“Good” mobei says, pulling out a matching set and shoving them on shang qinghua “match”
Binghe promptly pulls out another prom dress, this one a lovely green with a short skirt to show off his shizun’s beautiful legs
And thus shang qinghua and shen yuan are smuggled out of thr hospital in a pack if weirdly clothed friends, looking so wierd that no one questions them
And the all go home
But binghe keeps the dresses. He has…plans…for them

Shen Qingqiu/Shen Yuan from the Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System
Submission 1: He died from reading this long running webnovel that he would faithfully pay for legally, abd then rip apart every little thing about it he didnt like. It was bad. He read the last chapter, and was so angry either he ate spoiled yogurt when he wasnt looking and died of food poisoning, or choked to death on a bun. Later he would meet the author who also isekaied into it, and then said author would say that he was a super fan.
Submission 2: died from choking on a bao lmao loser (affectionate) and then tripped on some wires and extra-died by electrocuting himself
Submission 3: Okay it gets a bit complicated here but. There are a few versions of how it happened. In the first he is reading shitty Web novel and gets so fucking angry at the ending that he just spontaneously combusts and isekai's into the scum villain in the very novel he was flaming. In the second be chokes on a bao (while flaming the novel's ending) and dies, again isekai'ing into the scum villain. The only fact that makes the second death funnier is that the novel he is reading is a heterosexual harem collecting story that is slowly changed into gay fantasy romance through the events of SVSSS's plot, which makes the "choking on balls to death" thing so fucking much funnier

Come read Wiping Away Your Tears, an ongoing 84+ chapter fic of Dad Shen Jiu and Son Shen Yuan. There is also lovey dovey sweethearts Bingyuan, Original Shen Qingqiu redemption arc (an it is a redemption arc, trust me, I am here for all of SJ's right and wrongs), fluff and ANGST. Like good luck with that angst, lol.
Anyway, synopsis, My take if Shen Yuan was a shixiong instead of a shizun, because I want to write about Shen Jiu and I want to give him a redemption some how. Bingqiu and Qijiu are both in this, but everyone be thinking both shixiong and shizun are pretty hot.
Enjoy!

centaur lbh x mermaid sqq fic idea
Having been recently exiled for being too 'violent and rough', Luo Binghe decides to go beyond the mountains he used to call home to explore the great beyond. No one liked him anyway, in fact they absolutely abhorred him, beating him up and calling him insults nearly every day, no, every other hour would be more accurate. A petty argument with a particularly meddlesome herd member was apparently the last straw for both parties. Well, good riddance! Luo Binghe's four hooves are enough to take him anywhere, is what he naively thought before he arrived at a large lake with seemingly no end in sight.
Great, just great. Of course, since when was luck on his side? Luo Binghe can't help but vent his frustration by trashing about and kicking up the earth, causing tremors and dust clouds. He was too occupied to notice the stagnant lake rippling, a mysterious figure steadily rising from its dark depths.
"...Hello?" the figure cautiously speaks. Luo Binghe almost misses the soft voice if it weren't for his sensitive hearing. He jerks up to survey his surroundings, his gaze caught by the head of a beauty peeking out of the water. How stunning. Lustrous, silky, ink-black hair stick to the face of the beauty as a result of the water's adhesive property, his sharp yet gentle eyes create an alluringly seductive sight, beckoning Luo Binghe to instinctively inch himself ever so closer to the lake's shore.
"Hello," Luo Binghe replies, "May I ask who you are?"
The beauty speaks. "You may call this one Shen Qingqiu. Mortals refer to me as the guardian of this lake. I sensed a disturbance on the land, hence prompting me to assess the issue. What troubles you, young centaur? What brings you to my lake?"
Luo Binghe bashfully apologizes, heat rising up on his face. "Apologies, lake guardian Shen, I was just in the middle of my travels when I came across your lake by total coincidence, please believe me on this. As for what troubled me, I just felt a bit of annoyance since I cannot swim to get to the other side."
Shen Qingqiu tries to cover his chuckle with his hand. His long, sharp nails capable of effortlessly cutting the thickest vines fascinate Luo Binghe. "Ah, of course, this one forgets centaurs aren't exactly the best swimmers, do forgive me, I haven't interacted with one of your kind in a very long while. I could help you cross the lake with my magic if you wish."
Surprised at the sudden kind gesture, Luo Binghe readily accepts the lake guardian's proposition. Shen Qingqiu slightly frowns, "Young one, you shouldn't accept help that quickly. For all you know, this one could be planning to lead you to your untimely death by pulling you down and drowning you."
This time, it's Luo Binghe's turn to laugh. "An evil person wouldn't say that, besides, I have not much left to lose, for I am a lone centaur with no place to call home." He then remembers he hasn't introduced himself yet, "Where are my manners? Guardian Shen may call me Luo Binghe."
Shen Qingqiu briefly remains silent as if in careful thought. After a few seconds, he says, "You must be weary from your travels. There is a cove down that way. It could serve as temporary shelter from the elements if you need a place to rest."
Luo Binghe can't help but be moved at how generous Shen Qingqiu has been for the past few minutes he's gotten to know the lake guardian. He tells Shen Qingqiu to lead the way, marveling at how his long, jade colored tail shimmers, its scales bewitchingly reflecting the moonlight. This is Luo Binghe's first, and immediately the most memorable, encounter with a mermaid. Shen Qingqiu glides through the water elegantly, it takes Luo Binghe's breath away. He feels he could spend all day watching Shen Qinqgiu swim gracefully.
Within a few minutes, the pair arrive at the cove. Luo Binghe settles down and swiftly makes a fire and a makeshift bed out of leaves.
Shen Qingqiu tells him, "If you ever need my assistance, you may touch the water and call my name and I shall be with you shortly." The mermaid softly smiles, Luo Binghe could feel his heart go straight to his throat. "May you have sweet dreams, Luo Binghe."
Too engaged in steadying his traitorous heart, he replies to Shen Qingqiu with a fervent nod. In an instant, Shen Qingqiu dives down, and Luo Binghe is alone once more. He longingly clenches his chest.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to stay here for a while.

You know, I'm gonna go ahead and say it, but I don't think Shen Qingqiu would adopt Shen Yuan. Or make him his pseudo son. Or make him head disciple. Or treat him well at all. Let's look at this from different perspectives:
If you accept the headcanon that Shen Yuan's original appearance does not resemble Shen Qingqiu, then Shen Qingqiu would treat Shen Yuan like any other male disciple. A good relationship is unlikely to be fostered because: 1) Shen Yuan hates Shen Qingqiu for abusing Binghe, 2) Shen Yuan also derides Shen Qingqiu for his overly pretentious and higher-than-thou attitude, in-text. Shen Qingqiu would not care about him because he's just some random male disciple, but if he did, the care would most likely be one sided. However, there's still the chance that something viable may come out of this option, since Shen Qingqiu does not have any particular grudges against Shen Yuan (yet) and provided that Shen Yuan has landed early enough that Binghe's abuse hasn't happened.
If you subscribe to the belief that Shen Yuan resembles Shen Qingqiu, then you hit a logic problem. In canon, Shen Qingqiu abused Binghe because they were similar, yet Binghe had a better fortune than him. If Shen Yuan shows up looking EXACTLY like Shen Qingqiu, with a better fortune, how do you think Shen Qingqiu is going to act? This won't be "Come into my arms my child", this will be "Luo Binghe 2: Child Abuse Electric Boogaloo". He's going to do everything in his power possible to make Shen Yuan's life as miserable as his was, and with luck, Shen Yuan will survive it, but forget about liking Shen Qingqiu or developing any sympathy for him— the sooner Binghe has his revenge, the better! For the both of them even! It's not like he doesn't deserve it.

My star of my life I really need some Yandere Ogirinal Shen Qingqiu he need some love to
yes, pretty thing~ omega yandere Shen Qingqiu is already in the active stage of creation¹, but I can still give a little bit of what I'm unlikely to include there, but it's still an important part of his yandere personality<3
what if the desire to do evil has become a little stronger than me?
♡ unhealthy behaviour (guilt tripping, obsessiveness, possessiveness, mutual dependency, manipulation), teacher/student dynamic, power imbalance, heavy ooc, mention of corporal punishment (threat), 'break the cutie' if you squint, op!reader but it only makes things worse, pre-relatonship themed
Tumblr media
on the territory of the Qing Jing peak, SHEN QINGQIU'S power is absolute — and how cunning and manipulative he was made everything worse, including for you, his head disciple, known for your abnormal luck and ability to find something that 'existed only in legends' and was 'long lost'. you've never made it up too much, but as long as you remembered, you've always been like this — as long as the chance was at least a little bit, at the very drop, above zero, you win. always. luck loved you and was your first spouse, since you could not have another.
but you really loved your Shizun, your Shifu.
in the end, for superiority in one thing, you always have to pay to be a complete squalor in something else, and it's not your fault that for your peculiarity you were so chronically unlucky in love, as if fate itself did not allow you to connect with anyone and remain alone forever and almost embedded in the thigh of your Shifu, like you'll be there forever.
not that you were particularly against it — despite the look of piercing green eyes and elegant humming, especially when he watched you bring everything with you again, like a magnet for any legendary things and techniques, Shifu never showed you any injustice or malice, tilting his head slightly to one side when you guiltily stretched out to him, what was found again as a gift, as if expecting him to stroke you as a good thing for it.
but it was really useful and rare, and not that it was like you were a cat and dragged dead small animals, right? in the end, Shifu, even if he did his job more than perfectly and was never famous for laziness or little diligence, hated dirt and dust, and you always acted according to this, even if you knew that he was always more than 'favoritist' to you, as the disciples whispered, just for a moment allowing themselves to say something of this kind about you before immediately shut up and hide, knowing that you were openly favored, regardless of what someone might think, — but you understood that SHEN QINGQIU just knows how you feel when he stares down at you, without having to open his mouth or point at something.
his venom was enough, as were the wounds on back from the whip, but you never did anything that could provoke, allowing yourself to give up a part rather than tease a predator. after all, at the peak, no one dared to go against him, at least openly, and whenever you allowed yourself to do something like this in secret from him, you dared only hope that your luck would not let you down.
you already had a lot more opportunities and 'freedom' than others — as long as you don't left your beloved Shifu, of course.
you are used to finding the perfect approach to him, knowing how explosive and aggressive SHEN QINGQIU is, hating criticism, becoming extremely overwhelming for the sake of protection — and fearing that he will not be enough or that he is still unprotected, as if believing that the whole world is against him and everyone is just waiting to stick a knife in into his back as soon as he allows himself a moment of weakness.
even if SHEN QINGQIU was very emotional, letting his feelings go out and flare up like a myriad of stars, his fan hid everything perfectly, like a veil between him and the real world, behind which he can hide everything that does not want to show.
but whenever you were stuck in the bamboo house again, helping him, as if you were on a leash and could not go anywhere except with him or only with his approval and for a short period, he never touched fan, letting you run like a squirrel in a wheel while he could close eyes, relaxing serenely, the only time you saw him not tense like a loaded arrow, at any moment capable of shooting into someone's body at the slightest hint. and you knew that this was not an exaggeration.
and you can't help but indulge, wanting to please him, even when you have to move into a bamboo house and stay within it — yes, even if you want to find a 'gift' for him or have found something interesting. don't go anywhere without him.
you are his disciple, so you have to obey him the same way he cares about you — absolutely.
... you had not communicated with any of the disciples for a long time, although you could not say whether intentionally or not — even if you were known as the treasure of the peak and the favorite of heaven, not knowing defeats or failures, you could not say that your social life was like this same.
you were just... unlucky, yes.
and it's not that Shifu doesn't make it more than clear to you that 'this' is not the right company for you, and you might as well leave right away without permission and without asking anything, unless, of course, you value your place, thinking that he, like heaven, will be condescending and kind to you always, even if you bite the hand that feeds you.
was he harsh to you? was he cruel? has he ever physically punished you? or maybe he was being unfair?
even the last one, everything he does is still not enough for you and you need someone else?
then you can continue to look around if you are not afraid of the consequences.
the whip will definitely teach you how to respect your teacher and what you can and cannot do, since you are the head disciple and always keep him company, but instead of gratitude you continue to play on his nerves.
you behave like a white-eyed wolf who thinks they are omnipotent, but at this peak he is in charge — and you better accept it, because you will never leave this peak.
... It's all good. he understands that you just have an age. he is already very indulgent, since he did not whip you, leaving bloody marks on your back with scars that would definitely consolidate today's lesson, so you better be grateful and not provoke him again, because next time he will take the whip in his hands and you better learn that it will not be pleasant for anyone which one of you two, except those disciples who are just waiting for your fall.
you better accept the fact that, having become the head disciple and potentially the next leader of the peak, a huge number of eyes are fixed on you and waiting to be able to snatch this place.
you are just lucky that SHEN QINGQIU sees your potential and cares about you, even if you are so arrogant and audacious.so you should stop looking for someone else and accept that SHEN QINGQIU is the best if you don't want any consequences — just like he doesn't want them.
you still look at him and only at him, even when you carefully put your outer clothes on him or try to please him; even when you see that he needs help, and you provide without words, in return receiving expensive delicacies or clothes that, you know, cannot be obtained without connections. Shifu is very elegant, and you don't hesitate to say it, getting a soft fleeting smile for the first time, full not of mockery or neglect, but of gentleness.
SHEN QINGQIU willingly takes you everywhere with him, exposing the main treasure, but firmly suppressing any attempts to establish a connection with you unnecessarily, as if taking you out just to show off before dragging to himself and hiding from the outside world, closing the world on the two of you.
you don't remember the last time you had close contact with the disciples, but to almost shame, you quickly get used to the new model of the world, giving yourself a try to have fun fighting the wind together — and realize with amazement that Shifu is a much deeper and more interesting person, especially when he allows you to shorten the distance; experiencing deeply and intensely, at least you know that he is not joking at all when he says that you will be with him forever or that only you matter, touching your hot hands with cold lips, but you only smile, wrapping him in your clothes. it's almost like a domestic routine, only your husband is a huge lazy cat who constantly screams and mutters and hates when you are away, calling back as soon as your absence time is more than five minutes.
when you see a new disciple, you instantly recognize Shifu in him.
and you are sure that he understood it from your look.
“don't you dare approach the beast.”
The hoarse whisper fills your mind, but you just nod. Of course, Shifu.
but something tells you that your promise won't last long this time.
“Should I remind you of what I told you last time?”
