The Psalter of St Columba is a 6th century manuscript thought to be the first book written in Ireland.

The story goes that the manuscript was secretly copied by St Columba (Colum Cille) from a book he was lent, and St Finnian of Movilla, the lender of the original, claimed the copy should be returned to him as well. The Irish King Diamait judged that Finnian was in the right, which has been cited as the first instance of copyright law. The decision was so controversial it sparked a battle, and Columba was exiled to the island of Iona.

While the story may be apocryphal, the book became a holy relic in the keeping of Clan O'Donnell, who in the 11th century constructed an elaborate silver cumdach (book reliquary) to house it, and a tradition arose of carrying it three times around the O'Donnell warriors before a battle, gaining it the name "Cathach" or "Battler". It remained the property of the O'Donnells until 1843, when Sir Richard O'Donel entrusted it to the Royal Irish Academy.

Inspired by this image~ Vex couldn’t stop the desperate, panting moans that fell from her lips. Her body shook and bucked, pressed down into the firm forest floor by the massive weight behind her. Her hands pressed into the soft loam, fingers dragging through the soil, but she was helpless to resist, to escape, from the snarling beast behind her.

A wet pop made her gasp as she felt the hound’s knot sink into her folds, and she shuddered as a sudden climax rushed through her body. Her back arched and her lips parted in a moan, and she felt her heart race as the beast’s snarl—one of possession and domination—rumbled against her pointed and sensitive ear.

“Oh my~ I do hope my pup wasn’t too much for you, Lady Vex’ahlia~”

Vex groaned as her gaze tilted up, and she watched as the gothic woman from before—Laudna, her friends had called her when they’d brought her to be revived—stepped closer. There was a look in her eyes—a look, that if she wasn’t already panting and moaning in ecstasy, would’ve filled her chest with a dreadful chill.

Laudna’s lips curled into a wicked smirk, and her heel cupped under the lady’s chin to tilt her head higher. “It’s so funny~ every time we crossed paths, I always left thinking of what a bitch you were~ and now, that’s all that you are~”

Vex struggled to find the will to reply, but a sudden howl from behind her was all the warning she got before the hound slammed its cock hard into her womb, paws pressing down on her shoulders to force her face-down into the ground again. The huntress screamed in euphoria as she felt the mind-meltingly hor Hellhound cum spill into her, her body jerking and shuddering as she crashed over yet another wild climax.

The gothic woman chuckled at her poor plight and pressed her foot down onto the back of Vex’s head, shoving her down into the soil. “Yes, don’t fight it, my dear~ this is what you deserve, for stealing my happily ever after from me~” She pressed down harder. “Becoming a fiend’s breeding bitch is a fair punishment, wouldn’t you agree~?”

The Hound of Ill Omen snarled, and Laudna’s lips curled into a smirk. “Ah, and it seems our time is up~ well then, my dear, it was wonderful catching up with you again~” Her foot pulled away and she turned on her heel, walking away from the pair. “Don’t worry, I’ll give your family your love when I see them next~”

Vex could only manage the smallest moan of protest in reply, pressing against the ground before the Hellhound, still knot-deep in her folds, wrapped its limbs around her body and pulled her closer as he was pulled back to its realm—dragging his new mate along with it.

Leaving the newly revived Delilah Briarwood to return to Whitestone alone.
