thoughts on banwally. i've never played any of garten of banban so you are my only reference for what happens in those games and consequently, what makes banwally a compelling crackship.

when or if I started shipping it: i actually have an exact date, may 29th of last year. everyone in my friends server is really into crackshipping so we like to share random ideas with each other and i posted them as an idea on that date. i have never been the same since

my thoughts: crackships are kind of hard to talk about in this context because there isnt anything canon to go off but ill do my best. when welcome home first started gaining traction i saw a lot of people saying "this is what good mascot horror looks like" (whether or not wh even counts as mascot horror is. debatable.) so me associating banban and wally with each other was already a thing before i started shipping them. at some point i realized they both have a lot in common (monotone voices, often associated with devil imagery, passive most of the time but gets a little Silly with it sometimes) and i was like woah.... they should kiss. again a lot of my thoughts surrounding them are based in headcanon so im struggling to talk about them in a way that doesnt make me sound fucking insane BUT im a sucker for pessimist/optimist ships and they very much fit that to me. i think they balance each other out in a way, wally is a bright spot in the Endless Misery banban deals with on a daily basis, and banban is pretty logical and grounded which levels out wallys spacey-ness. theyre very much a jessica and roger rabbit "he makes me laugh" type of deal but with the fun addition of identity issues and whatever the fuck wallys deal is

what makes me happy about them: the fact that theyre both freaks of nature (banban is a weird clone manmade abomination thing, wally is either straight up an eldritch entity or a manmade puppet with eldritch qualities) is another thing they have in common to me, so i think theyd be accepting of each others weird traits because they know what its like. banban doesnt give a fuck that wally is up to some scp shit, he might as well live in the scp containment facility. theres a kingdom run by a giant kangaroo woman with a magic scepter who is in charge of keeping a bunch of baby demons and the father(?) of those baby demons trapped in her pouch or else the entire kingdom will be destroyed. he has seen weirder. banban wouldnt just love wally because hes handsome and hes nice to people, he loves all of his weird traits too because they arent even weird to him.

what makes me sad about them: they lend themselves pretty well to angst (i hate that word but idk a better one to describe this) because theyre both from horror media, and i like to pelt my favorite characters with hammers so >:) my friends and i (same friends who got me into crackshipping) have a group rp thing going on, and theres a mini arc going on right now based on the fact that banban got SUPER fucked up trying to fight sir dadadoo and his army. wally wants banban to leave the kindergarten because of how dangerous it is, he wants him to live in home where he doesnt need to fear for his life all the time. but despite all the horrors he has to put up with, banban doesnt want to leave everyone in the underground behind. theyre still his friends, and he wants to protect them. as much as wally wants him to be safe, he understands where hes coming from because he wouldnt want to leave his friends behind either. this leaves him feeling really conflicted and confused, and the homewarming update taught us that wally doesnt do well with those kinds of feelings. just some thoughts for yall <3

my happily ever after for them: things finally calm down at the kindergarten to a point where banban feels comfortable leaving to be with wally, and whatever the hell is going on with home also calms down. banban would still visit the others obviously (i think he would introduce some of them to wallys friends, barnaby and bittergiggle would get along super well i think) but he can finally be somewhere where he isnt constantly fearing for his life :]

Just wanna put this out there for those who keep tryna twist it...

Warning: Anti BoruSara post, dont like dont read. Spoilers for the new episode tonight too so if you dont want to get spoiled then keep scrolling, again you’ve been warned.

But BoruSara has been famzoned since the very beginning before they even graduated, yall just tried your hardest to ignore it, but if these subs are accurate then theres no more denying it at this point. 

Update: the subs are accurate, but instead of the broad term ‘family’ she specifically says hes like a brother to her, if that isnt a red flag I dunno what is. If you dont know how, just look at what happened with Naruto saying Sasuke was like a brother, Iruka was like a father, and Sakura saying Naruto was like more than family, none of their feelings changed to anything more than that. If you think this is coincidental and somehow gonna be the ONE case in Narutoverse where familial love turns romantic then your just setting yourself up for disappointment because dialogue THIS specific and THIS sincere doesnt happen for no reason.

Sarada sees Boruto as family, period, its time to stop the ‘Sarada is confirmed to love Boruto’ narrative now. This isnt something new thats only being brought up now, this has been implied since before they even graduated from the academy.

When Sarada is speaking about Boruto being stupid, Sakura, her mother who knows her better than anyone, compares her attitude towards Boruto to that of hers towards Naruto when they were young, she then explains how despite being at odds during their academy days, that once they became teammates they became more than family. That foreshadowed what their relationship was going to be right there but yall ignored it.

What Naruto told her in Gaiden has come full circle now, before Sarada only considered family as being those who are blood related to you which isnt true, Naruto taught her that blood ties dont matter and that its about how you FEEL for the person, she repeats that same lesson to Boruto when they were fighting one day.

Narutos words stuck with Sarada ever since then, and now shes confirming with her own mouth how she feels about Boruto and what he is to her, family.

Lastly these childhood photographs right here should’ve been a huge red flag that this was what their relationship was, like they have known eachother literally since they were in diapers and clearly were raised together practically like a family due to their parents being friends. Hell its for that very reason they denied even being close, because they didnt want to be considered ‘friends’ just because their parents were, despite that tho the two clearly had a close knit family bond similar to Inoshikacho who were literally raised the exact same way who ALSO view eachother as family for the same reason.

I know once the official subs are out theres gonna be a ton of discourse and translation hell because ppl arent gonna wanna accept this, especially those who falsely claimed that chapter 69 was confirmation that she liked him but the truth has been staring yall in the face for a long long time now and yall just havent been payin attention. I dont care how Sarada ‘looked’ at him or ‘blushed’ at him or ‘cared’ for him, all of that Sakura did the exact same things for Naruto and as we’ve already established, they were family.

Some ppl claim Sasuke called Sakura his family too which 1 thats his wife and mother of his child of course shes his family and 2 if referring to that see his family in team 7 comment then thats taken totally out of context. One comment about him seeing the shadow of his family in team 7 doesnt negate all the 700 chapters showing their relationship as being explicitly romantic. Sakura never saw Sasuke as a brother nor did Sasuke see Sakura as a sister, neither of them called eachother family either, compare that to Naruto and Sasuke CONSTANTLY calling eachother and being compared to brothers, it really doesnt take rocket science to see which relationship was familial and which was romantic, they are not the same.

Some ppl also compared it to Eremika but again, they never viewed eachother as family, it was made explicitly clear that the bond between them was NOT familial, even with the off handed comments here and there claiming them as such it was always made clear that Mikasa had romantic feelings for Eren and eventually that Eren reciprocated those feelings. There was nothing vague about it, you knew what it was.

Boruto and Sarada are not the same, their relationship has been made explicitly platonic/familial since the beginning to now, could that change? sure, but as of RIGHT NOW the Sarada has always loved Boruto narrative is DEAD, so is Sarada’s feelings were confirmed in chapter 69, both those false narratives are DEAD now.

hot take? rantish and long and whiney? sorry i have to get this off my chest

is it wrong but i kinda think or well believe that as a WOC from america, maneskin would benefit if they began to look at and think about racism the way MOST americans do from my own experience i have face different levels of racism but the stories you hear about BIPOC over in europe is close to a real life horror story at times, i am melaninated for reference and generally where i am people can AWFUL but MOST are kind and knowledgeable especially the younger crowd let me explain (rant ahead, this is written by a woc with intersectional identities, i basically check nearly every box)

we have WAY more BIPOC here in the states than over in europe, were more exposed to different cultures in many parts of the country and i mean think about it country that is MAJORITY white vs the USA

ive had white europeans tells me they never fear the cops in their country. . . like no duh ur not their target dumbass in general it is VERY easy be ignorant to an issue in a place where you, your family, your friends and peers arent affected by that issue and that makes it easier to believe it doesnt exist and/or be ignorant to it since most likely there isnt anyone or anything challenging the problematic values or mindsets especially in a place like europe where entire communities reinforce certain racist ideals because its a mindset that gets passed down even now and if they are brought up to believe that its okay and the only way anyone ever thinks in their minds, why change it? so often when it is challenged its either seen as a threat to a whole way of world perspective taught and reinforced by everyone around them and even online depending on what corner they occupy and the idea of them as a good person since that way of thinking is how "good" people think or it is seen as an opportunity of some sort to change and expand (this can happen anywhere btw but more often in europe)

in my experience americans are much more willing to do the latter depending on the person of course because not talking about an issue or never being negatively effected by it does not mean it doesnt exist and we are much more willing to admit that we have issue of some kind for the most part while many europeans in my experience deny it outright or only acknowledge it to some extent since they often have NO CLUE what the issue truly encapsulates and looks like or believe its an issue that can be justified, often there is many instances of virtue signaling hiding the racism/islamophobia/anti-Semitic/anti-roma behind the over-focusing on things they have that we do not like gun laws and free healthcare and "not having trump" as if that makes up for the horrors that the continent as a whole is responsible for the continent that colonized and enslaved majority of the world and either directly or indirectly contributed to the suffering and inhumane treatment of the people who were violently colonized and enslaved and also was also the site of many horrors

the USA has done horrific things that isnt even acknowledged and we are not perfect but at the very least many are willing to admit this fact and admit that many are trying to improve

condemning the USA more than one would condemn a European country leads to the belief that one is better, smarter and more civilized than the other buying into the stereotype of the civilized european vs the savage american which turns racist VERY QUICLY and will/already has bleed unto other countries being lesser than a european countries not only that but anti-american xenophobia turns to racism extremely easily and quickly because of how we have a larger BIPOC population in comparison

No. its not worth it. not worth the time, absolutely not worth the stress, no chance in hell is it worth the money, its just Straight Up Not Worth It. you want an art education? Drawabox. Foundations Patreon. Youtube Academy. you might think that im hocking a load of shit at you here, but anyone seriously considering working in the creative industry needs to hear me when i say this: 1/3 of the people working on your favorite shows and games did not go to school for this shit. i REPEAT, OVER A THIRD OF THE INDUSTRY IS SELF-TAUGHT. this isnt to say that getting an arts degree or even going to school for art or drawing is impossible— im working on switching over to a public school to salvage my own BFA because im older and wiser and i know i could’ve just gone and gotten a degree in illustration somewhere and spent way less money to do similar stuff— but going to a private art school is financial suicide and just not even remotely advisable. and if you think for a SECOND that you cant teach yourself with online materials because there’s like some secret sauce they pump you with at school? im gonna let yall in on a little secret. im halfway through my sophomore (technically junior) year at SCAD, and we dont actually learn to do shit. what you will get are assignments: they’ll often push you far outside of your comfort zone and will have draconian workloads. you will learn on the job or you will fail. that is how even some of the best of these schools operate. but you dont need a professor for that. im not saying my professors are worthless, but every innovation in my art i’ve developed has come from me waiting until school is out and then studying online materials over break.

you can practice comics on your own. make animation projects, try your hand at script-writing, whatever. all of that stuff is the exact same stuff you will do here. but you will get to do it at your own pace, without sinking tens of thousands of dollars into it, without fear of mucking up a college transcript or collapsing from overwork.

those of us here are either rich kids or suckers. you’re on tumblr, so im gonna make a guess that you arent the former.

dont become the latter.

you met tate because of your father. tate was one of his patients and the both of you grew close.

tate would giggle and lay on your bed, observing the lesson that the teacher rambled about.

while you're writing notes, he would stand up and take a chair from some part of your room and sit beside you.

knowing that tate is clingy, you would warn him not to bug you and behave while you listened in class.

of course, he doesn't listen and he would place his head on your shoulder and eventually would cuddle you.

luckily, you always keep your camera off.

this is where you met kyle, it was love at first sight. the both of you had so much in common and you thought that he was the man of your dreams.

you exchanged snapchats and from there, you were partners-in-crime.

you and kyle had stopped going to parties ever since the pandemic arrived, which means you got to see each other less.

since the both of you were students, both of your classes went online.

one time, kyle had no classes for a day and he decided to surprise you.

that day, you were having an online presentation. both your camera and microphone were on.

unfortunately, they got in an accident and the bus was flipped over.

a few students, including kyle, survived the accident.

when you heard this news, you cried your heart out and you didnt talk to anyone in your family.

you and your family visited the hospital and you rushed to kyle's room, it broke your heart to see tubes in him, with machines that beeped like there was no tomorrow.

when the doctor said that kyle was in a coma, your heart sank in the deepest part of your body.

this made you stay 24/7 with him until he was discharged.

when he was discharged from the hospital, he was not his usual self. the bubbly, energetic kyle was gone. instead, he was so confused with everything.

kyle's mom made him stay with you until he got his memory back, and you were more than glad to help.

but this took a toll on your studies because your classes were online due to a pandemic.

everyday in class, you would let kyle sit beside you and let him observe what you were doing.

"We're in Science class, Kyle. You were really good in Science, you helped me alot with my homeworks."

most of the time, you would help kyle develop his speech and his writing. but it was difficult for you.

there were carnivals almost everywhere, and your family brought you to all of them.

the regular visits stopped when the pandemic struck the country, forcing entertainment establishments, schools and unis to close down.

for the mean time, all your classes went online. you told jimmy that he could stay with you until things went back to normal.

on an early tuesday morning, you were in english class. jimmy was with your parents preparing breakfast, and you were falling asleep while your teacher discussed about the odyssey.

unlike tate, jimmy would always knock on your door. as his mom always taught, never enter anyone's room without knocking.

jimmy would giggle at your sleeping sight, your head lowered and your hair messed up.

"Hey, sweetheart, wake up! You're in class."

jimmy's timing was perfect. as he woke you up, you were called by the teacher.

"Miss Y/N, Do you think Odysseus was loyal to his wife?"

obviously, you panicked. but jimmy was there to save you. since jimmy was fond of reading, he finished the book and he whispered the answer to you before you could turn on your mic.

"No, Ma'am. Odysseus had an affair with Calypso and Circe."

once you got your teacher's approval, you turned off your microphone and let out a sigh of relief.

"You're lucky that I'm here to help you."

jimmy would joke and you would jump up to him, tackling him into a hug.

"I'm always lucky to have you, baby."

at a young age, you were exposed to different types of fabrics. denim, silk, corduroy, neoprene. they name it, you've probably seen it.

your mother worked as a fashion designer. she managed to open a shop in the city and it was a great success for you and your family.

your mother has styled famous models. because of this, the shop was promoted and broadcasted all over the country. one day when you came from school, you saw a long line outside the shop.

that day, the staff count was low. there were only 5 employees instead of 10. you didn't exactly know why, so you decided to help.

after what felt like several hours, the long line finally dissolved into 2 customers, which was a mother and her son. they looked through the shop and the mother instantly loved everything.

her son, on the other hand, was trying on this lilac tux that your mother made.

you assisted her son and when you locked eyes, the both of you smiled. you entertained him throughout his shopping spree and the both of you never broke eye contact.

this was how you met dandy. he made the first move by getting your number, and of course you gave it back.

from there, the both of you talked day and night, even when you were in school.

since dandy's mother, gloria, loved your mother's shop so much, she would invite you and your mother regularly to her mansion.

gloria and your mother got along very well, and it was like gloria was your second mother.

so when your mother went to paris for a fashion show, she let you stay in gloria's mansion until she came back.

but to your dismay, your mother was not able to come back due to a pandemic that was all over the world. flights, establishments, and schools closed down.

of course you were sad, but you didn't worry so much because gloria treated you like her real daughter.

classes were online and you were forced to attend them everyday in the shared room you had with dandy.

since you had to get ready for class early in the morning, you would quietly get out of bed because dandy was sometimes a light sleeper.

it was around 8am and you were in math class. in your school, cameras were required to be turned on at all times. you thought this was a shit rule, but you had no choice to comply.

you were drawing some circles with a compass for an example that was being discussed by your teacher, when all of a sudden dandy was beside you.

"Dandy, sweetie, what are you doing up so early? Go back to sleep.."

dandy would pout at the lack of attention that you were giving him. since he loved holding your hand, you let him hold your other hand that you didn't use for writing.

"You're doing Math instead of cuddling with me!"

Maribat AU AU!

Adrien and Marinette are 13 when they become miraculous holders

14 when they add to the team (Chloe, Kagami, Luka)

14 when the save Damian from bleeding out on a mission gone bad.

The League of assassins want him back

They start fighting team miraculous

To bad Ass bois, we've adopted Damian and you cant have him back

At 15 Marinette becomes the Guardian

She gives Damian the turtle miraculous for when he goes on patrol with him

They want him to have a real childhood so they try to keep him from the fighting

But theres only so much they can do about a 9 year old that was raised as an assassin

He has energy

Patrol seems to help

And occasionally he gets to beat up someone

But not often

He is Precious and he is absolutely not allowed to fight in real akuma or league battles

(He tried once and they took away his miraculous for a month and didnt give it back till he apologized. They were all very emotional about their child that didnt get a childhood)

(Adrien connects with him pretty well)

Over time they add more to the team (Alix, Kim, Max and Nathaniel) as the fighting gets worse

Damian doesnt like the fighting or his family getting hurt (yes he considered the miraculous team his family, both in and out of the masks) so he leaves (leaving the turtle miraculous behind)

The team is devastated and search for him for months

They are more vicious with the Akuma during fighting

(Also Lie-la comes in but that's normal for maribat)

Shortly after Damian leaves canon stuff happens and he is brought to Bruce

Damian doenst like these new people

He misses the family he made in Paris

They learned Arabic for him!

And taught him English, and French and Mandrin, and some Japanese and Italian (he was still learning) and sign language! (American, British, French, Arabic)

He doenst like this new family

They arent as affectionate and he misses that

He closes off again

He still becomes Robin

But he feels that he is betraying his old family by fighting in battles

Anyway

Usual Gotham trip

The miraculous team helped Marinette (class president) plan the trip, send in the application and fundraise (plus extra)

They win, Lie-la takes the credit, and some things get changed (like where they are staying. Luckily they saved extra because even though the stay is cheaper the extra prices are not) ( and its next to crime alley (I dont remember who's idea this was but I didnt come up with it))

Kagami is on the trip

Luka is the only one in paris

But they have the miraculous box and Kaalki (mabey Max has her, that seems pretty canon by now or mabey it is idk I didnt watch s3)

(Also Marinette hasn't taken off the turtle miraculous since Damian left)

They know the tricks Lie-la will pull

(They get left at the airport. That's 8 students that you "forgot" Bustier(?) But they are a well oiled fighting machine and some of them have a good sense of direction so they make it to the hotel fine)

(Also not my idea but I forgot the owner (I need to bookmark stuff more) but the class has to wait because marinette is the only one who can get passes and check in because she won the contest so they are waiting there)

(She apologizes profusely to all the staff for her classmates behavior, they all adore her (mabey background twitter posts? Also not my idea))

Anyway

They plan to get up two hours early every day.

Theres no way that they can miss anything

(Also batfam themed outfits because Marinette is MDC)

(Overly connected Marinette and miraculous group because their just that good, they also dont flaunt it so no one really knows)

Usual Lie-la "I'm dating Damain Wayne and I had a fling with (insert Wayne family member)" Rossi

(Damian is 13 here, the class is all around 17-18)

Wayne tour day!

Get up 2 hours early and go out to explore

Leave note with front desk to let them know if Bustier asks about them and to tell them that they went out (they try Bustier tells them off, shes trying to do a "headcount" and she doenst listen)

So Tim takes them to Wayne Tower (he has promised to go home after they start the tour. He doesnt want to upset his new parents and aunts and uncles)

Dick is already there and tired of the group because she "forgot" 8 students (8!)

And hes been listening to Lie-la complain and lie for like 45 minutes

They cant start the tour with out Marinette but Bustier insists that it's fine and I basically being a little shit

They arrive with Tim and Dick is like immediately ok now we have a new sister and then he realizes that shes Marinette

The group goes over to him

The rest of the class hasn't noticed them

They drop off Tired Tim

And she sincerely apologizes to him and the staff for her classmates behavior and gathers the passes so that the tour can start

Dick has basically claimed her AND the rest of her group and his flock now

Especially when Tim tells hime what they did for him

(The outfits are a definite bonus. They would fit right in!)

Ok I'm running out of ideas

But basically they do the tour

Regular maribat shenanigans

They meet Damian at some point

He turns back into the child hes supposed to be and crystal on their shoulders and basically refuses to leave them

Obviously theres an identity reveal

Marinette absolutely demolishes Bruce because HE WAS 10 DAMNIT! LET HIM BE A CHILD INSTEAD OF A SOLDIER!

Hawkmoth gets revealed (just because your a good detective doenst mean I forgive you)

Mabey they get adopted by the rouges (they knows our science, they're good with plants, they're absolutely adorable, they're smart)

I adore these characters so much bc theyre so real?? Lke we truly watch them grow up. Something about the way 11y/o Ginny covers her face and runs away vs how she acts in the later books just. I adore it. 

So this is where I broke my own heart and froze for a solid 15 minutes. I was beginning to write “I hope the twins sang ‘His Eyes Are As Green As A Fresh Pickled Toad’ at their wedding” before I realized that only one twin got to attend Harry & Ginny’s wedding. I trailed off at the S in twins and you can see how shaky my hand got in the writing (i wrote all of this out in a journal)

Riddle’s personality is so well preserved. (and then I remembered that he made his first horcrux that year and THATS why bc this is 16/17 y/o voldy’s soul)

In Riddle’s memory, he stops by the potions room after speaking to Dumbledore on the staircase. Slughorn is teaching that year. Harry says he is stuck outside that room for “what felt like an hour.” Is this where Tom asks about horcruxes? Technically at this point, Myrtle has already been murdered and its been a while but I’m p sure he asks about horcruxes after class one day. But idk. It really seems plausible, and It’s possible that he altered the memory to show Harry...

this is my least favorite book so i just wrote “this is the most boring book. I’m skimming.”

Quidditch mathces are EARLY (im used to sports matches in the evenings but i guess soccer matches are early and such so it makes sense) (my american is showing)

Is sitting at any table allowed? I never understood that and it used to bug me in the movies. Is it only required to sit at your House table during important feasts? Is that how a lot of inter-house relationships come to be? 

Fudge’s wardrobe was ROBBED in the movie. Steve’s parents go away basically the whole summer and Billy lies to his dad his buddy is giving him cash to house sit so he stays with him basically all the time. Tell us, what do they get up to? Do they start off buddies who just want all the food and drink all the alcohol? Do they gradually start to share a bed? Do they lay out watching the sunrise and kiss on the roof? Please tell us!!

well if fanfiction has taught me anything... lotta sex. yall got that big ass empty house. do something with it 😂

but if theyre just friends when this goes down then, ya know, theres gotta be a build up first. i guess lol

they definitely take advantage of their situation. raiding steves dads liquor cabinet, gorging themselves on pizza and takeout and junk, spend most of their days out by the pool, spend most of their nights playing video games or watching movies (personally i headcanon steve as being really into comedies/action comedies and billys into horror/sci fi but thats besides the point). oh and music is always blaring, no matter how many times the neighbors complain (hopper makes a LOT of disgruntled visits)

billy starts off staying in the guest room. but its not long until they start falling into this pretty domestic routine. they cant live off of takeout as much as they maybe want to, so billy starts cooking breakfast (which turns into lunch, which turns into dinner) and theres always coffee already brewing for the other one when they wake up. they go grocery shopping together, split chores around the house so they arent living in complete squalor.

mayhaps one night they stay up late sitting on the couch talking and next thing they know its morning and theyre waking up with steve laying on billys chest and billys arm wrapped around him i dont know... 

and of course they dont talk about it. because that would be too convenient. so maybe they have a moment of awkwardness before they both silently agree not to bring it up and just carry about their business

i also imagine billy is naked a lot in this lmfao like, its summer. hes got a pool to himself. no ones around besides steve. hes gonna let it all hang out. boy aint got no shame. this of course sets off a crisis in steve and he has to go about acting like this in no way affects him sexually. and if billys not full on naked, he might as well be with the way he dresses around the house. never in a shirt, either has sweatpants hanging low on his hips or he’s wearing his old gym booty shorts. or he walks around in boxer briefs. good for him. 

maybe theres a night where theyve gone off to bed and everythings fine until steve has a nightmare and he either a) screams awake and billy hears him and goes rushing to his room to check on him and steves embarrassed that billys seeing this but also the dream really shook him up and he doesnt want to be alone so he shyly asks billy to stay with him and thus the bed sharing begins OR b) steve wakes up without the screaming but hes still shaken up and he cant go back to sleep so he wanders to billys room and gently wakes him up and asks if he can sleep in there with him and steve looks so small and sad that billy doesnt even question it, just scoots over and pulls the covers back and then theyre laying on their sides facing each other but steves trying to close his eyes and get some sleep but billy just stays up watching him... my heart

theres gotta be a drunk confession somewhere in there cuz thats always fun. one of them admitting theyve got a big fat crush on the other before passing out. and then they gotta deal with the consequences of that. being hungover the next day but remembering what they said, the other one not knowing if they should bring it up bc what if they werent even being serious? what if they were just drunk and saying shit? and maybe billy thinks its time to head back home, this fun little summer romp is over early but steve doesnt want him to go so he takes a leap and kisses him and then what do ya know... suddenly theyre making out all heated and passionate and fumbling to take each others clothes off and they cant even make it to the couch they just fall to the floor and jerk each other off and its messy and sloppy and totally undignified but its kinda perfect?

and so they spend the rest of the summer together together and theres a lot more kissing and a lot more exploration of each other and theres definitely stargazing and them holding hands and exchanging soft sweet kisses and theyre both big dopey in love idiots the end

For real though, like I enjoy pop punk because from my experience the fanbase wasnt as toxic as other forms of punk can be. Like I am not the biggests fan of a lot of the more 2010s pop punk and the rest of the alt scene as of late (not the biggest 21P fan, i do enjoy a lot of the up and coming bands like Set It Off  (who has just now started to gain traction despite being in the scene since the late 2000s) and Palaye Royale tho.) It kinda pisses me off since I thought we were past this shit of bands cant change sound but it turns out we arent. Like I didnt get the appeal of Waterparks ill I heard fandom bc everything said on that album clicked me with me a lot more than Stupid for You did back in 2016.  Bands should be able to change their sound without people throwing a hissyfit.

The way this company works is through basically spamming messages on people's facebook accounts. Ive told them time and again that although it works with the portuguese because we think we have to be different and live in the past, with the american audience it doesnt. Americans get spammed every single day with this shit and it drives them crazy, understandably so. Yet they have this thing about them that they think since it worked with the portuguese it has to work with americans. So i have my method which is not like theirs because with americans i scout for authors and adapt the message to them. I try to undrrstand if they are american. I try to understand the genre of their book. Yet they told me that didnt work because its not fast enough. They told me to stopped looking at where they are from because that doesnt matter. I said okay. The next person who replied to me was from India. I sent a message to someone outside our market because they told me not to look at where they are from and next thing they kmew they were all stressed out because they didnt even know ths currency in india. Now they insist on nunbers. It hasnt been a month that ive been here and they say that the way to bring clients is to contact a massive ammount of people. I knoe that but the problem is: its the first time yall are contacting english speaking countries, and i need to know what my audience looks like. I need to carefully look at my audience before spamming them. And also spamming isnt really working because, again, in america you guys get flooded. I said the best way to contact an author is to add their personal facebook profile. I said americans hate that. In america you guys are smart and as soon as you publish a book you create a professional page. Thats what i contact. Otherwise its unprofessional. But no! Thats not how the portuguese do it so it must work! So lets do their way. Not a minute later i have a guy sending me to hell and blocking me. Now i am assuming its a natter of time before someone posts on a book promotion facebook group a warning that this bitch has been spamming your profiles with messages. Cause americans. Fucking.
