the more i think about the vees the more i love their whole concept, especially after learning about the rift between them and the older overlords. three comparatively young/arrogant upstarts who each think they're the backbone of their little team constantly working and flying by the seat of their pants and scrambling to stay relevant while keeping each other in check because if any one of the trio crumbles the rest will topple down with them. a precarious balancing act

Regulus would hex people who told James he was being ‘too much’. He’d make sure he never told James he was being too loud or was talking too much.
He’d let James be James.

I think Sam/Dean as, like, a solid, established relationship would result in Dean being calmer (eventually) and Sam being even more insane. Dean wants to hold hands in the car and Sam is like "actually, I have to eat him, I have no choice"

Ethan: And now that I'm alive again I've realised that I don't have a motivation for anything anymore because I tied so much of my identity to helping my mother and I haven't spoken to her since before I died and I'm scared that-
Apollo: Damn that fucking sucks will talking shit about your mom make you feel better
Ethan: …what?
Leo: Yeah she’s such a bitch! Me and Hazel met her during our quest and she looked like my aunt Rosa-
Ethan: what do you mean she looked like your aunt Rosa?
Leo: She looks like the person you most want revenge on?
Ethan: she what

I still don't hate the concept of zombies. They are really a unique genre of horror for modern times. I have played and enjoyed things like Project Zomboid inmensenly. It's just that, like everything, there are things behind them that reflect other things, ideology and such and so forth.

throwing up crying thinking about ACAU aaron begrudgingly teaching miles more nuanced social cues to be aware of and making him practice using his manners even though he personally would never give a shit but Jeff and Rio definitely would have taught them had they had been able too and sometimes he just doesn’t have an answer and wants to give up teaching Miles stuff he doesn’t even care for but he realizes this is his brother and his sister-in-law’s whole ass child and his little nephew he’s helping build the future of and he can NOT mess this up. SINGLE “FATHERS” WHO ARE TRYING THEIR BEST DESPITE THEIR LIVES AND CIRCUMSTANCES = HYDROGEN BOMB

#also i've watched this show upwards of 7 times now and only this round noticed next to Qin Su is her maid#the one who speaks to the crowd at lotus pier later!
@peanutbutter-nutella I am making a separate post with these tags because I ALSO HAD NEVER NOTICED THAT AND I HAVE BEEN LOSING MY MIND ABOUT THIS INFORMATION ALL DAY
first! there's this little bit of business with Bicao in the background when NHS flings himself onto JGY. She looks anxious
and then there's this quick glance at Qin Su
and I'm yelling!
second! I'd always thought that Bicao was Madame Qin's maid exclusively and had remained in Laoling even after her death, and she chose to seek out/contact QS at this time specifically to tell her about the incest at NHS's insistence; the letter would therefore be something special, which is why QS gave it immediate attention in the middle of a busy formal event.
Instead, Bicao is serving QS and probably has been for awhile (since Madame Qin died? even sooner?), which means that Bicao has been living alongside QS and JGY as a married couple for YEARS knowing that they're siblings and only now decided to say something! That in turn suggests that NHS must've said or done something fairly major to make her change her mind and tell QS, which can't have been an easy decision, and now I wonder if her coming forward at the Lotus Pier #BelieveWomen Summit is not just because NHS asked her to, or to ensure people understood what drove QS to stab herself, but because QS's death has Bicao questioning if she made the right choice and she's desperate for some reassurance.
