Sansa Stark - Fancasts
Age: 11 - 13
Appearance: She is traditionally beautiful by Westerosi standards. She has high cheekbones, deep blue eyes and thick soft auburn hair that is lighter than her mother’s. She is described as tall, graceful and ‘womanly’. Her hair is dyed when she becomes Alayne.
Tumblr media
Character: Elizabeth Tudor [Younger]
Actress: Claire MacCauley
Show: The Tudors [2007] [Season 3]
[Unknown age, looks to be between 7 - 9 so good for pre-cannon or maybe book 1. She has light auburn hair and high cheekbones but her eyes are the wrong colour. She wears 16th century clothes.Sorry for the bad quality photos, couldn’t find better.]
Tumblr media
Character: Elizabeth Tudor [Younger]

Tumblr media
Character[s]: Thyra [Younger] & Elizabeth Tudor

Tumblr media
Character[s]: Mary & Lily Evens [Younger]
Actress: Ellie Darcey-Aiden
Show: Robin Hood [2006] [Season 3 & 1 Episode]
Movie: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
[She is 9 in Robin Hood so too young but she interacts with a character who looks like the hound and is in more accurate clothes. She is the right age for her in the first few books in the Harry Potter movie at 11/12. She is pretty with light auburn hair and high cheekbones but has the wrong eyes. She wears relatively modern clothes in Harry Potter so it’s only good for close ups but Robin Hood’s mediaeval ish.]

It’s that time of year when to celebrate its founding, The Temple throws out all restraints, turns all the dials to 11, and performs alterations willy-nilly.
The staff, technicians, and advanced beauticians see who can go the furthest, leaving the clean-up afterward.
This leads to some of the best surprised customers' responses.
Tumblr media
Lara Thompson here gives the without a doubt number one response.
Tumblr media
Followed by Mia Gallagher and the above statement.
Tumblr media
Well it is Bethany Carter, deal with it.
Don't worry, we will get you up to speed and fully Korean ...
... When we have the time.
Tumblr media
Then we told Paige Bailey that she was looking at a mirror and the fun started.
Tumblr media
It was the look on former Irish red-head Valerie Barlow's face as her stylist induced full Mandarin Chinese as her main language, but leaving enough English for the cutest Singaporean accent that got the top prize.
Tumblr media
We left Lisa Mae McLaughlin, local leader of the Daughter’s of the Confederacy, with her original English and South Carolina accent because it was too much fun hearing her say “What are my ladies going say when they see me now?” with her full Southern drawl.
Tumblr media
Yes, Kayleigh Farrell it is... Welcome to the Philippines… eventually.
Tumblr media
"is this a Joke?" asks Alicia Robinson, not knowing yet that she's asking in Cantonese. So much to learn.
Tumblr media
Yes Helena Landry, former for real natural blonde, indeed The Temple's Spring Time Bash is a day of surprises!

The last day of the Faire, the sky was overcast, with rumbles of thunder in the far distance. As Mayor Nat stepped up to the podium set up in front of town hall, a small crowd gathered to hear the announcement. She proceeded to declare Pandora Flowers as the winner of the costume contest, and withdrew the sword to present to the winner of the tournament, Morgan Vovk.
Before she could, though, Quinn Buckley from the commune ran up on stage and grabbed the microphone from the podium.
“Listen! You have to listen. This, all of this, is because of a being far greater than us! It sent the creatures from the woods to test us! To separate the weak from the strong. It judges us because it wants us to be ready before it reveals itself. We have to listen! We have to—“
Sheriff Henry attempted to take the microphone from her, but she struggled against him, still shouting into the microphone.
“It’s real! I felt its presence! Those that listen will be saved!”
Thunder rumbled, closer than before, much closer. A loud crack of lightning illuminated the sky, blindingly bright. Beyond the clouds, briefly visible in that split second, loomed a shape, unrecognizable and massive, both bulbous and gangly. As quickly as it appeared it was gone, and what remained was the sizzling body of Tristan Wilde, struck by the lightning. The sky opened up, then, as thunder boomed directly above, and rain and hail pelted the town.
“It’s there! You all saw it! It’s real! We have to submit!” Quinn wailed, as Henry attempted to pull her off the stage. “I can prove it! I can walk amongst them untouched! I’ve been chosen! You can be chosen too!”
Her cries fell away in the deafening downpour, and those that had gathered scattered to find shelter in the nearest buildings. Whether or not they saw something or, if they did, if they believe what they saw, remains to be seen.
The storm raged on through the night, as the creatures wandered the streets unperturbed by the rain and hail. The lights of the town flickered and then, as lightning staggered across the sky, everything went dark.
(Those that ran to find shelter found themselves stuck for the night. Below you’ll find the (randomly selected) groups. You can choose for your characters to have seen the shape in the sky, to have not seen it, or to have seen it and not believe it.
Everyone can continue/finish their event threads, as all this took place on the final day of the Faire (the 29th). You may also time-jump threads, headcanon threads, or make new threads for the plot drop. The event officially ends on August 5th, at which time please do not make any more event starters, however you can continue all threads until completion.)

Who do you fancast as rose Weasley? I know rose was black but then I saw Elle fanning in ginger and Rosa and I was just like O.o ooooommmmmgggggg
Hi there :))))
I love black Rose Weasley but at the moment I can't really picture any black actresses as her (that also happen to have red hair). Maybe Amandla Stenberg?
For me, I always adored Jane Levy as Rose Weasley. After watching Suburgatory, I always pictured Jane as Rose. Even the mannerisms.
Tumblr media
I also love the original Rose Weasley (Helena Barlow). She has the same piercing blue eyes and curly red hair Rose would have

Sansa Stark Fancast Resource
“Sansa is traditionally beautiful, taking after her mother's family (House Tully) with her high cheekbones, vivid blue eyes, and thick auburn hair. She is eleven years old at the start of A Song of Ice and Fire. As she has grown up, her figure has been described as tall, graceful, and womanly.” (x)

LAYLA BURNS - PHOTOSHOOT / JOANNIE (OUTLANDER)
Layla Burns has become a popular fancast for Sansa, primarily because of this photoshoot from 2017. I can’t find an exact birthdate for her, but as near as I can tell she was 12ish at the time. Layla also played Joannie on Outlander around the same time, and while the costume design is not very in line with Westerosi fashion, there’s a scene where Joannie has her hair braided by Brianna (Sophie Skelton) that works great for Sansa and Catelyn content.
Tumblr media
MADELEINE POWER  - PRINCESS ELIZABETH (SIX WIVES) / YOUNG THYRA (THE LAST KINGDOM)
Another one for whom it’s hard to find a birthdate. However, she played a nine-year-old character two years before The Last Kingdom and three years before Six Wives, so I feel comfortable placing her at roughly the right age for AGoT Sansa. Content is pretty limited for her, since she only has a handful of scenes in The Last Kingdom, and any footage from Six Wives is really difficult to find.
Tumblr media
DAKOTA BLUE RICHARDS - LYRA BELACQUA (THE GOLDEN COMPASS) / MARIA MERRYWEATHER (THE SECRET OF MOONACRE)
Dakota was 12 and 13 when filming these movies, respectively. She plays the lead in both, so there’s plenty of material of her, and she has quite a wide range of emotions, particularly for an actor so young. The costume design is more fitting in The Secret of Moonacre, but The Golden Compass does have a great fur coat that’s good for Winterfell content.
Tumblr media
RACHEL HURD-WOOD - LAURA (PERFUME: THE STORY OF A MURDERER)
Rachel Hurd-Wood is on the older side for Sansa, 15ish when filming Perfume. However, I find her particularly fitting for Sansa’s court life, and she does have the most brilliant red hair.

OTHERS
1. LAOISE MURRAY - ELIZABETH TUDOR (THE TUDORS): Laoise was 13 when filming The Tudors, which has spot-on costume design for Westeros, particularly King’s Landing.
2. ELLIE DARCEY-ALDEN - LILY EVANS (HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS): Obviously Harry Potter doesn’t have the costume design for Westeros, but I do still like Ellie (10ish when filming DH) as a young Sansa. There are also some clips of her in Doctor Who the following year that are useful. (Oh! She also wears medieval clothing in Robin Hood, filmed two years before DH!)
3. HELENA BARLOW - YOUNG ESTELLA (GREAT EXPECTATIONS): She’s a bit flouncy for Sansa, but I like her for Sansa’s early time in King’s Landing, when she’s trying to embrace southern culture and style. Helena was 13 during filming.
4. SADIE SINK - MIU MIU COMMERCIAL: Unfortunately, Sadie Sink hasn’t done any period work that I’m aware of, because she makes a great Sansa. However, some of the closeups from her 2017 Miu Miu commercial, during which she was 15, are usable.
Feel free to add any of your own! The full set of my fancast resources can be found here.
