A lot of the time when people bring up Bart Allen as being super autistic coded, they're bringing it up in conjuction with the rest of YJ (which, yes, I love autistic friendship) but sometimes I just wanna talk about Bart Allen.

I wanna talk about the kid who doesn't understand he's getting bullied and managed to be friends with everyone because of it. I wanna talk about the kid who is so bad at holding a conversation everyone thinks he's some sort of brooding asshole. I wanna talk about the kid who KNOWS that the older, more popular kids talk to him and dare him to do stupid stuff because "of course Bart will do it" and does it anyway because he likes making people laugh. I wanna talk about the kid who knows he's doing something wrong socially but he doesn't know what and wants nothing more than to fix it. I wanna talk about the kid who knows he's different but still thinks the rest of the world is the problem. I wanna talk about the kid who's so smart and so brave but everyone only sees him as some mess-up idiot. I wanna talk about the emotional kid who got bullied for being robotic and unemotional because allistic people can't grasp what his world looks like. I wanna talk about the kid who wouldn't know sarcasm from truth. I wanna talk about the kid who's low-empathy but does everything he can to be compassionate. I wanna talk about the kid who's surrounded by people, but still feels so alone because no one else understands his world.

Sometimes I just wanna talk about Bart Allen.

I seriously don't think you guys understand how much I love bill in 2023. Like yes he was super adorable and hot and cute and literally perfect in the 2000s but bill also seems like 10x happier the way he is right now. With the way he's dressing and his hair and all over the way he's expressing himself. I love how he feels so comfortable being himself and happy with how he looks right now. He literally is the most adorable 33 year old man in the entire world. He's so sweet and perfect. I love him so much. And I will never understand why people don't like him anymore. On Nature vs Nurture in Fantasy High

As an adopted kid I'm so in love with Gorgu's story and their direction they're taking it especially in junior yer. i feel like a lot of adopted kids wonder about the question of nature vs nurture. like what part of us is just naturally there and was always something we would gravitate to and whats something our parents encourage us to gravitate to. as in, am i naturally a creative person or am i only creative because my parents encouraged me to be creative. i think its a little bit of both and i think we see that a lot in Gorgug's story.

Like in the first season Gorgug seemed to focus more on the natural parts of himself and what he was naturally good at. Being an orc, being a barbarian, raging ect. and then in the second season we saw him touch more on the nurturing parts like being an artificer. and we see that he loves both sides of himself.

now in the third season we're seeing him start to recognize that because he was adopted hes never really gonna fit into either parts perfectly. hes to kind to be a barbarian, and hes viewed to not be smart enough to be an artificer. like Porter was saying how would being an artificer and a barbarian work? What Porter didn't realise is that he just told this kid how would he work in battle or at all.

And I really like seeing that. Gorgug has been some of the best representation for adoptees i've ever seen. and him going through this sort of alienation and feeling like he doesn't fit in anywhere really adds to it.
