Jack before he became a guardian got sent to Hiccup's time due to some time mishap au but Hiccup is still unable to see or touch him.

Doesn't stop Jack from falling in love with this endearing fishbone though. He was just there acting as an unseen guardian.

Hiccup knows there's something out there though because Toothless can sense something and because he's quite superstitious. He suspected Jack might be the troll who steals Gobber's left socks. Jack was quite offended to be called a troll but yeah he's the one who screwing around Gobber and stealing his socks.

Aware that a ghost or a fae is around got Hiccup talking to the thin air. If asked he was just talking to Toothless.

Personally I like to think that Jack Frost is the snow queens son and nobody knows… so he’s next in line for her crown, and the guardians are just confused on why he shows up in nice clothes every now and then. And he has a little ice fairy that follows him and is supposed to contact the queen when he leaves and stuff but the fairy is just as mischievous as he is !!!!

(I feel like this could work for a lot of his ships like bunny x jack, or hiccup x jack, or whoever you ship him with,like they just find out and are just like whaaaaat???)

(And if you do ship bunny and jack, bunny could be an x Warrior for his people or something so he feels like he should protect him !!!!)

(Or Jack and Hiccup are really close friends (so close everyone thinks there dating) and Jack has a crush on hiccup but thinks he’s not good enough and thinks hiccup likes Astrid!!! plus hiccup is basically a Prince with dragons anyways!!!)
