Sigh. Not even shocked that these men were doing this. Also, Jonah's texts sound identical (with less cursing) to Johnny Depp's texts to Amber Heard about not allowing her to work. He even fired her stylist and forced her to use his own to control her wardrobe, and hired someone to follow her around when she was on set to report back to him on every move she made and every person she talked to. He'd of course then go on to accuse her of sleeping with every single person she interacted with. These are not "boundaries", this is coercive control; it is abuse.

I can't really forget about that statistic about foster kids being significantly more likely to identify as trans than the general population. "What does this have to do with Ellen Page? She wasn't in foster care" you might ask. Well consider her sexual traumas. I don't think it is a coincidence that girls in foster care want to dissociate from their sex - we are frequently the target of sexual abuse.

I really worry about Gen Z and Gen Alpha. Every single day I see another scandal with the trans movement. I read about stories of children removed from parents who would not affirm a trans identity. I read about teachers secretly transitioning a child behind their parent's back at school. I read about minors receiving a double mastectomy in order to affirm their "non binary" identity. I read about safe guarding concerns with drag performers with child audiences.

I wish that girls didn't feel such agony that they wanted to remove their breasts. It's truly a tragedy what's been happening. What has happened to my poor country? I remember that the foster care I grew up in used to save girls from Female Genital Mutilation - now our Children's Aid Society has the trans flag waving on the property. Girls who experienced sexual abuse should not be mutilated. This is not a form of medicine, it is abuse. It's shameful.

All the stuff constantly getting more and more revealed about Nickelodeon and also just Dan Schneider over these past few years, has only really told me that some child actors are just kind of emotionally unintelligent.

Like the white actors who go "I never saw anything like that from anyone on set" when black ex-child actors will come out with stories on how they were discriminated against, or treated poorly, or just type cast in stereotypical "black" roles that implied them to be criminals of some kind.

No shit you didn't notice what was going on, you were a white person, so obviously not receiving racial microaggressions from racist producers and production staff, and you were like 13-15 years old in the early/mid 2000s so you wouldn't have even known how to look for or recognize that kind of stuff.

Or when ex-child actresses will come out and say "Yeah these producers were objectifying me and putting me in sexually under toned scenes, that made me uncomfortable, and feels kind of misogynistic looking back" and a bunch of ex-child actors who worked on that same show will act confused and say that never happened to them.

As if the fact that the treatment a girl is going to get from a misogynist is going to be different to the treatment a boy is going to get from that same misogynist flew right over their head.

It's as if the idea that so many ex-child actresses are coming out saying they were mistreated, and sexualized, and uncomfortable with producers male child actors had no issue with, was because the child actresses were being harassed due to being girls, never crossed their minds.

What I've learned is that Hollywood has a culture of "If it didn't happen to me it didn't happen" and the fact that people who are nice to you might treat other people like shit based on things like their race or their sex seems to fly over a lot of their heads.

So, small thing I keep seeing going around I s people asking why PREY(2022) was restricted to select streaming on Hulu.

And the way I see it, there are two major factors (one is mostly confirmed the other is something I'll explain later)

The biggest reason I've seen confirmed by many sources is the fact that before 20TH Centry FOX was purchased by Disney, it was a holdover property (I can't properly explain this I really can't)

And after Disney acquired 20th Century FOX (the main proprietor of the Predator IP) it would've been subjected to that nonsense of flipping between Hulu and Theatres.

Long story short, PREY(2022) became a Hulu Exclusive because Disney didn't want HBOMax to get all the streaming revenue, so they canned the theatrical release and made PREY a Hulu Exclusive.

Now the other thing I believe is based off a small article I saw (it might've been a review video I cannot for the life of me remember)

Hulu wanted to prove they can be a hub for theatrical experiences, and tried to have PREY exclusive to them so they can have a Blockbuster film under their belt, to prove they aren't just a place that has smaller budget films/TV.

This basically means that Hulu mightve felt small about how they only have small studio budget films and wanted to feel big by lording the newest Predator Film under their belt for everyone else to see (and it was a success so they're rubbing that in too)

Honestly this doesn't surprise me if this is the case, but there's so little evidence that I don't know how truthful this is. Whereas the whole "Disney 20th Century FOX deal kinda messed it all up" has more backing evidence as of now.
