i think that insinuating that people who disagree with your interaction with the hp franchise agree with sending death threats is a tad unfair. there are people who go to extremes from all sides, and to lump them all together to prove your point would make as much sense as me saying that you engaging in harry potter means you personally agree with violent transphobia

but im a trans person in the uk, so it's not just a case of seeing some bad takes on twitter. the causes she donates to, the rhetoric that she spreads, impacts me personally. it impacts thousands and thousands of people like me personally

and yeah, making a hp au doesnt directly give her money. but it can very easily appear as a show of support, whether you say you personally disagree or not. and if you dont care that terfs will see your account and think you're one of them, then fine. if you don't care that a majority of trans folk won't fully trust you because of that, that's your call. i mean that genuinely, not passive aggressive or anything. you can do what you want.

but while you can do what you want, please don't act like the people who disgree with your actions are being irrational or inflammatory. just because it doesnt seem like a big deal to you doesnt mean it isnt huge deal to others.

Hello, Ranboo Tag! Ive come to share my words after being unessacarily passive aggressively bashed on Tiktok.

See, it started with a tiktok saying that genloss doesnt seem that scary after ep1. The opinion matched with mine after watching the first ep, so I wrote the comments something like "yeah, i thought I'd be scarier"

Some people tried to change my opinion by genuinely explaining how the next episodes are supposed to have more "horror", yknow? Other people just went straight to passive aggressively bashing me, with stuff like "what about Ranboo screaming let me die, huh? 🙄", Overall everything in the spirit off:

"what about *insert thing from ep 2 or 3*, idiot? Should've been more patient"

With a lot of aggression or ways to make you feel stupid. Here's the thing, I find it funny yet sad.

Oh noo, I had my own opinion that othwr ppl shared so i agreed!!!! Where are the people's minds at.

I was a bit dissapointed by it, because when i think back to 2021 and Ranboo announcing him working on genloss (yknow, 2020 - 2021 the era where everything was still fun) he said he was inspired by The Walten Files among other things. So thats what i expected: a vhs style analog horror. That wasnt what I got, so it threw me off a little bit, but I nontheless gave the first ep a try. I didnt like it that much, not because of it not being what its supposed to be, it just didnt appeal to me. Which, and idk if those kinda fans knew that, is completely fine!

You are not obliged to watch everything the cc pushes out and to like everything they do or say or release.

I have the attention span of a fetus, I would never be able to sit through ep 2 and 3. And i generally didn't feel like it, bc yknow, I didnt like it. So why would I.

And generally it all boils down to me thinking, wow. 2021 to early 2022 really was better.

Ive been in this fandom since November 2020. Ive been there for almost everything, excitedly watching it all and having fun! I never missed Ranboos or Tubbos stream, bc I was a huge beeduo fan. I made fanart and their videos helped me fall asleep.

And then everything started to dull at around May 2022. The vibe changed and me and probably many others, as I have heard others say the same, started to feel like this isnt enjoyable anymore. Call me and those people hung up on the past, but yknow, sometimes people loose interest, get more casual about things and idk, act like a responsible person distancing themselves from this thick responsibility of "like everything and watch every stream" when everything had dulled down and you dont feel the same you felt back then.

I was only in the fandom with one foot anyway. Occasionally watching Tommy, James Marriot and recently gaining a bit more interest on the QSMP. If i speak on my feelings and thoughts on the dsmp fandom changing, I'm sure even more people would bash me, even though its a genuine opinion and not whatever delusional hatecrime some ppl may think.

I genuinely hope that Generation Loss goes great for Ranboo and that he has fun doing it. And that the people who like it can enjoy and have fun.

But Im not obliged to and I dont wanna hear the bashing. If i read it, i laughing, just to be clear. But i think i got my point across.

she lives in cieldalaes with her parents and grew up there and helps around the tourist island.. and one day her parents set off to leave to check out stuff from limsa they never came back, so yuemi goes to limsa a year or two later to look for them idk how yet but she finds out her parents were killed by pirates,, but her reaction to it was just to fully commit to being a warrior of light and restarting life outside of cieldalaes and her freezing those feelings has her reconnecting with them while talking with the ala mhigans about looking towards the future and not pursuing vengeance with fordola,,, and for shb and learning abt her supposed death in the future (uriangers vision abt the wol dying).. yuemi has to think about the future now, instead of closing her eyes and looking only at whats directly in front of her..

she just closes her eyes and when she opens them, "past" is gone, "future" isnt there yet, all that there is, is what she immediately sees

i think yuemi is friendly and likes ppl and gets along with them

but like. sea motif cjsjjs like if ppl leave they leave kinda thing, if they stay they stay.. yuemi doesnt have expectations

but getting involved with the scions and ichiya has her kind of. looking beyond that and realizing she doesnt want it to be just in the present, she wants it for more days and even more into the future?

shes hopeful before in a way thats like, "ah no worries, itll come back" but post chara dev its hopeful in a way that "i wont wait for it to come back, ill ride with it and work with it" passive turned proactive?

like this time.. instead of like saying "ok bye! see u again!" yuemi learns its valid to be like "i kinda dont want u to leave yet" kinda thing- both in ff and sol w bc she just accepts whatever comes her way all the time but she never thinks abt. how its ok to ask for permanence or help or to have smth to look forward to

still struggles with seeing her future and planning for it, but bit by bit she learns she can have smth to be passionate abt too and smth to keep and work for instead of just doing things just because

i think yuemi never thought abt dying,,, as a response to losing her parents or actively shut that off and thats why shes kinda reckless with tanking and pulling and soloing stuff and talking like carlos ztd 'go on shoot me i wont die"

like ichiya deals with the deaths surrounding him- he is haunted by them and his guilt for not being able to save them

yuemi represses rly hard and might seem a lil cold or smth bc she'd just make a promise of being better and just being more aggressive with taking things on her own

i also think in the vault,,, it was yuemi who ran straight for the archbishop and who haurchefant protects,,, so that was a prelude of sorts to her eventually realizing both past and future are grabbing at her

I love how you like unhinged and toxic women until they aren't conventionally attractive or hour glass shaped. You interpreted Candy Wife as someone who's financially absuive to her husband, and thinks her infidelity is funny. that’s some food for thought but you might have conflated my criticisms of certain female characters with actually hating them, which could be something i didnt make clear enough. i was specifically talking about how women are treated in chowder as a whole; for example, despite all the things ive said about endive, i still like her character and find her really funny (the endive-centric episodes are some of my favorites.) what i dont like is how the writers see her actions as not a big deal - what she puts shnitzel through is played for comedy (which i’m probably just more sensitive to anyway since i project onto him/have sexual issues), and so is the way panini repeatedly infringes on chowder’s personal space. both of their severe discomfort is downplayed; shnitzel because he’s supposedly a big strong man who can handle it, and chowder because “it’s just a phase” because he thinks “girls are icky” and therefore it’s okay that he “grows out if it” and learns to like her. i dont think this is a good message for kids, nor is it a healthy outlook for the writers to have on women as a whole.

as for candy wife i dont know if you saw it but i made posts a while back talking about how these days i advise anyone not to revere my own interpretation of candy wife, how she absolutely isnt someone to look up to, and nor is she someone youd want to know. i do have this affliction of thinking shes attractive, that much is true, as is the nature of my sexuality, but it’s her personal flaws that are funny to me, NOT her treatment of peppermint larry. actually, it’s really sad and disturbing to me. how i feel about this mirrors how i feel about endive; i find her personal flaws to be funny, but not her treatment of shnitzel. if i were doing the same thing the chowder writers did, i would make jokes about her brutalizing him and then downplaying it on the basis that shes a woman and hes a man. i ship her with k’nuckles because theyre equally vile, fetid human beings, and frankly they deserve eachother. they just bounce off of eachother and are unaffected by each other’s moral stank. THAT’S what’s funny to me. i might have thought the wrong things were funny at the age of 16 or so, but hey, 16 years of witnessing my own parents’ volatile, abusive relationship, cheating and all, might have desensitized me. i’d like to think ive grown up a little since then, but i’m sorry if content from that chapter of my life has harmed you in any way

i dont really know where this betty stuff is coming from, i dont.... excuse what shes done to him.... i dont think her actions are ok. i do think she’s an interesting and complex character who’s capable of change. again, i mightve excused it at age 16, but underdeveloped critical thinking skills will do that
