He thinks it's beautiful to watch, he loves the way your hair blows and your body moves when riding

He buys you new tack sets every christmas and every birthday (or whenever you want a new set)

Your looking at a new $2000 saddle? Its yours now. A $300 saddlepad? Consider it bought

You managed to convince him to get on your horse, he didnt like it

He FREAKS OUT when you get bucked off, he freaks out even more when you dont get up (speaking from experience)

Gets jealous when he sees you talking to the fine cowboys at rodeos (or the male show jumpers at shows), wrapping his arm around your waist to let them know your his

You made him saddle up your horse at one point to see if he knew how to do it..he did not know how to do it..

He always helps you feed your horses, he also buys all the feed, hay, and supplements for your horses

He pays for all of your horses farrier appointments, dentist appointments, and vet bills

His favorite horse that you own is the little red roan appaloosa named rusty, he loves him and rusty loves him too

He videos all of your races and shows, posting them all over social media (you are now one of the most well known equestrians in like the whole trolls world thing ykwim)

Spoils you hard after a rodeo or show (you must be so tired according to Veneer)

Makes Velvet watch all of the videos (hes so proud of you)

Also spoils your horses (he feeds them whatever they can eat, buys them A BUNCH of different kinds of treats, gives them scratchies and love (sorry about the scratchies thats what I call them 😭)

You told him you wanted to do bronc riding, he did not approve

He LOVES to watch your liberty shows, seeing the connection and communication you have with your horses is just absolutely incredible

Hes your number 1 supporter

He thinks you're the most talented girl on this planet and he stands by that

When you get hurt while riding he stays by your side the whole time, even if its messy (bloody, broken bone, yelling in pain, etc. he just wants to make sure that you will be okay)

Probably cries when you get seriously injured

I've actually witnessed someone getting bucked off and breaking a bone while screaming in pain..it was my own horse that bucked them off, I almost threw up 😥

guys guys it turns out the secret to getting physically fit is to find something physical you actually enjoy doing, and then to only do it when you feel like it and not as a means of punishing yourself

this is revolutionary stuff!!

#i do not like most forms of exercise #anything that involves jumping around is automatically out #but it turns out i freaking love using the weight machines at the gym #and yoga and belly dance and horseback riding (does that count? i feel like it does)#i can’t afford most of those things but i can go to the gym #and yeah i try to keep to some semblance of a schedule #but if i go 3x one week and 0x the next week #it doesn’t matter #I don’t beat myself up for not doing it #i go when i feel like it and it turns out that’s the secret ingredient

#just because i already guessed this ending—i only guessed it because my mind is always steeped in thoughts of dark magic #but there has been NO indication that magic exists in this book and i am literally 20 pages from the end #i’m??????? so confused by this plotting??????#mr. neil gaiman you read this and thought it was good??? huh?????????????#memorie.txt #.bookthoughts #i feel like this was an idea that she didn’t know how to completely flesh out in 300 pages #maybe she should’ve shot for 400 pages and/or cut out a lot of unnecessary scenes #like the horseback riding lessons…? were completely unnecessary??#it was just for the romantic relationship to develop further #but i can think of lots of different ways to write that more naturally w the rest of the plot #to add to that—their relationship rlly jumped from ‘i’m paying you to steal corpses’ to ‘i’m making out w you daily now’#within three scenes of each other #i’m ????????#i don’t hate this book btw. it rlly is jst mostly me going ‘?????????’ out loud

feeling decent rn I guess but random question for my horse riders out there

I’m buying new stirrups soon and need help I’m set on safety stirrups obviously because Im jumping and yknow

the two im looking at are the:

Lemieux Vector Balance Stirrups and the Acavallo Arena Alupro stirrups.

let me know what one is better and how they work for you please, I don’t want to go out and buy them yet because of how much they are but I’m looking for a better option that will help me feel more balanced and safe in the saddle while jumping and cantering and sitting the trot, I have a habit of gripping with my knees not calves so I also end up losing my stirrups a lot.
