in THIS day and age?????

it may be more likely than you think..

this was my first time drawing a series of different gas masks, no idea if they’re accurate at all, but it was really fun!!

it’s a lot of notes so be prepared for an info dump.

NOTES:

Philza: honestly, what more is there to say than “CROW MAN!!”? aside from his goggles being glow-in-the-dark, theres not much more to the mask design. however, i decided, “hey! this is purgatory! i can fuck up these characters!” so, he has a ripped ear(?)wing and messily cut back hair. (i didn’t pay too much attention to the hair in this design, i was mainly trying to get the gas masks down, but maybe i’ll go further into later.)

Cellbit: this is definitely one of my favorites, he looks pretty scary, i would NOT stop my car if i saw him on the side of the road. its based off of a cat mask(obviously) and a painted white streak goes through his mask, inspired by his hair. i didn’t include it, but circles in the goggles are supposed to retract with different emotions (kind of how cat’s eyes do, saucer and dagger pupils.) he’s also covered in blood because he’s going through it lore wise.

Slimecicle: ngl, it was my first time drawing code charlie(other than all the wips i have that i’ll never finish),but i think he’s pretty spooky. his mask is the worst quality, like it USED to work well until he wore it out. thus, there are broken air tubes that let the gas in. (he should probably get those replaced.) the holes for his horns are kind of like an airlock, so the gas can’t enter through them (phil helped him make it.) however, it makes it difficult to take off.

Baghera: baghera’s mask is kind of built like charlie’s, except in much better quality. aside from the loose air tubes, the mask almost goes all the way around her head, not letting even the slightest bit of gas in. theres also a plastic duck beak on top of the regular breathy-thing(i have no idea what i’m doing, so, no, i don’t know the technical term for that) to give it the “bird touch.”

Jaiden: jaiden’s mask was FUN. like i kinda went overboard. i did these all on different days, and this was the night after the big egg battle day. i saw she had fnaf bonnie ears along with her bird gas mask, and said “ok cool. i’ll add that.” she has the same feather/beak thing i gave to baghera. also, hair-wise, she gets a hair bun and her brown roots showing through(we love messy haired cubitos ^^)

Foolish: foolish was interesting, not sure i like the final product, but i’m tired, so it’ll do. his mask is based off of a lemon shark. he gas glowing green eyes and golden splotches on the leather. the air tube foolish has is REALLY long. like unnaturally long. so he wraps it around his neck to get it out of the way. the other members are extremely concerned it’ll choke him one day, but foolish thinks it’s cool and will scare other teams away. kind of like a “yea, i’m crazy, i could choke and die at any minute, and i don’t care.” phil, being the protective father figure of the group, does not like this at all.

Carre: and finally, we have carre. ah, sweet, sweet carre.(he is my favorite.) his mask is based off of a snow leopard because i hc he’s half feline. carre has the lightest, and most simple mask, since it’s entirely plastic, and more so based off of skiing or snowboarding goggles.

ANYWAY, i hope these notes make sense, excuse my rambling about silly designs, i tend to doodle messily, and not really have a plan when i draw, lol.

going out on a limb to say pairing qjaiden with the imperfect Cucurucho was on purpose. Fuck it, i don't KNOW, but i think those whole two weeks were purposefully done to take advantage of her empathy AND her connection to Bobby.

It's one of the first things Jaiden points out. The tree is Bobby's treehouse. The picnic tables are like the ones from Bobby's cabin. the Carpets are all checkered, like bobbys. The rooms all have blue roses-- There's THREE fucking canvases lined up and paintings on the walls. A big kitchen. A table with lots of chairs.

Osito gives her roses. Is very excited, very happy to see her. His drawings are sweet, he parrots nice things-- Jaiden is meant to teach him, fix him. They give her Hummingbirds, and a cage to keep it in-- Just like Bobby did.

Do you see where I'm going with this? These two weeks were done intentionally, filled with memories of Bobby, while Jaiden takes on a parental role to 'help' Osito. She's meant to make those connections, she's meant to start equating her family to THEM because how could she not?

Yet Jaiden is now inextricably attached to both of them because she's had nothing and no one for so long and now, surrounded by memories of her dead kid and lost family, she's given a domestic, sweet, family life that she has ALWAYS wanted. The cucurcuhos never leave her alone and they always love Anything she says.

Capping this off with saying WHY jaiden started working with Cucurucho in the first place. She was looking for purpose, looking for a reason to keep going in the middle of this huge isolation/suicidal ideation moment that just WOULD not stop, arguably she's at her lowest which is WHY she takes up this quest.

She wants to protect the eggs no matter WHAT. she knows working with Cucurucho is dangerous, she knows that. She acknowledges it several times. But she does it because she wants to protect the eggs, because she loves Bobby SO. MUCH. And that intensity, that determination, is DANGEROUS.

Shit like that can be a loose canon-- Something both Forever and Cellbit have remarked on before. That Jaiden's determination is scarily strong and that is a threat. And now:

BEGGING to hear about ur familoier au plssss

Okok so!! This is a Jaiden and Bobby centric au with some Roier (I mostly came up with this au because I was sad about Jaiden and Bobby and wanted them to be happy) it’s very slice of life fluffy modern au- just them being happy together :]] just know this is extremely self indulgent because I want them to be happy and if feels ooc or something no it doesn’t :]

Bobby often goes to the park with his family!! He likes to brings his fake sword and swing it at anything and everything he sees. he also likes to pick the many flowers around the park to make flower crowns!! It’s rare for a friend (or parent) of Bobby’s to not have at least one of his flower crowns (and his parents often have at least one flower of his on them all the time)

Bobby also loves to paint with his family!! He will draw on canvas, walls, his own skin, whatever, so he often has doodles up and down his arms. The family will often put aside time in the day for them to paint together (at Bobby’s request) and it’s often his highlight of the day :D he likes to copy Jaiden’s arm tattoos with his drawings on his arms (though he won’t admit it to her) and he often draws his family or his friends!!

Bobby also has two dogs- a big brown newfoundland named Oso and his husky named Tripita (he’s also named the two raccoons outside and sometimes tries to take them inside but they always escape)

Jaiden is a freelance artist who works on commission who is roommates with Roier. She is learning Spanish for both Roier and Bobby (who is bilingual) and they both encourage and help her while she’s learning! She went to law school for a bit when she was younger- but ended up dropping out.

all the eggs go to the same school and are all in the same class (for the older eggs) and the younger eggs (when they come into the story) often hang out with them at lunch and such :D Roier also babysits Tilin on the weekends so they and Bobby are pretty good friends (though they sometimes joke at being rivals) and Dapper sometimes comes over for sleepovers!

All the eggs are kind of close which means that their parents also all know each other because of their kids- it’s how some of them get to know each other at first but a fair few knew each other beforehand!

Misc thingys:

-the city is name quesadilla city

-jaiden once spent a day going from store to store to find the specific brand of french fries that she and Bobby likes lmao

-Jaiden often shows Bobby the basics of her job/s because of his interest in art

-Bobby is in awe of Juannaflippa because of her nerf gun

-all of the eggs are around 8-10 in this au I think but I’m still figuring out ages

-the au is called a garden of missed promises

-jaiden dyes her hair and convinces Roier to get a streak (she wanted him to get blue but they settled on red) and Bobby begged enough that they got him a blue underside of his hair

-they love to go biking together around the city

-the federation is kinda just the government for now,, they’re not nearly as bad as the canon federation and mostly are just in the background

-when they save up enough money they sometimes go out to a cottage on the countryside and hang around there

-Bobby and Tilin originally met when they had a fight at school that turned into their Roier and Q fighting over who has the best kid (they mostly made up though)

also it’s a sort of fantasy modern au only in that they are still hybrids instead of all being human- Jaiden is a parrot hybrid, Roier is a spider hybrid, Bobby is a dragon hybrid, pretty standard (not all the eggs are dragon hybrids though)

it’s VERY early qsmp based if you couldn’t tell already though I do want to add some of the other language creators (especially cellbit for spiderbit) but I’m still working on figuring out how they would work in this au! also Pepito and Empanada are going to be confusing to fit into this au- I don’t want to not include them but idk,, if y’all have any ideas they would be greatly appreciated

ALRIGHT SO, lets talk about text boxes, in almost every game, at least any that have a good story, have a text box where you can talk to the npc's. usually its a box below the screen with at least a name and then text in the middle, but i've been thinking about them a a lot, since the type of textbox for my game would impact the overall vibe A LOT, i want every chapter of my game to have a different vibe, my plans all have different themes for each town and place they go to. meaning that i want my text box to be simplistic and not to attracting. So i went to toby fox! , i love toby fox and his overal vibe, his text boxes are very simple, it has a white outlining and just a general black and white vibe with a single image of the character you are talking too.

Deltarune does smth similair except more detailed portraits and those little thingy's at the corners. i do have to say, as much as i admire Toby fox, and love his music... i have never played any of his games because i am broke as fuck i have played a bit of a demo before but that was AGGES ago, but AS SOON as i have enough money i will try it out!

BUT i don't want to copy toby fox, so i will try and take inspo from other games i like (and also havent played because i am broke...)

That and i find the black and white vibe to be to simplistic for my maximalist mind. So then another game i LOVE the art is great i have also been listening to its music before i knew it was from a game (and i also havent played it caus i'm broke..) OMORI!!

Omori also has a very simple vibe to it but it has multiple boxes 1 portrait that changes a lot! and a thingy where you can see the name of the person you are talking to! i also remember from a random jaiden animation stream i watched where she played Omori, that omori has a lot of cutesy text animations where it moves at certain words to give of better vibes, tone and emotions to what the npc's are saying.

Then one of the games i haven't played BUT i have seen almost every ending is the class of 09, the game that inspired me to make a game, then learn how to code, and decide to work on a completely different game lol

class of 09 is way different then omori and toby fox games. it has a very clear vibe to it, the paper and all is great, but it wouldn't work for me. something i LOVE is something that isn't rly a part of the text box, but the thing behind it. the fact that you can see 2 full body drawings of the characters (the player and the npc for example, just 2 characters in this specific one tho) and basic actions, and movements gives them SOO. MUCH PERSONALITY. i love pixel art, but its hard to animate emotions into them, and especially in my artstyle. so i always thought i'd learn to make more detailed images of my characters with a bunch of different poses and smash them together like pngtuber. that way you can see the person you are talking to and it would give them so much more personality and i would be able to draw all the little things i want to add to the sprites, but can't because its to small.

i also have Stardew in mind (A GAME I ACTUALLY PLAY) as just as omori it has a portrait and a name, then a text part, it has a wood theming just like all the ui in the game, and that fits stardew Perfectly! butt i don't know what that would be for my game.

So to make a conclusion, i need to design a simple, but interesting ui, with a place for a name, text and an at least torso and up image of the person you are talking to! then i either need to choose for a single colour and outline, or i can go the class of 09 and stardew vibe, and pick a texture and a vibe that fits the game, but since every chapter will be somewhere completely different (stardew is always in the valley and class of 09 is in a school most of the time so their textures fit)

so what would be a good texture that fits the vibe of the game, has a simple texture that won't class with completelly different themes of each chapter, has a perfect way to show the npc in the frame, and just... looks good.

the theming around my game is fairly simple, a kid's soul shatters into pieces and they try and find the pieces to find out who they were and how to ended up in the spirit world, meeting different people who all have differen story's on how they ended up in the spirit world, and spiritis themselves.

i have thought about maybe theming it around stars, since it is a MASSIVE part of the lore and aesthetic of the game, in the spirit world, there is no sun or moon, and stars float around that give off heat and light to the world. so i could do a galaxy textured textbox? but i feel thats to themed.\

anyway what do y'all think!! this is a rlyyyy long post that i've been thinking about making for ages now! pls tell me what you think i should do!!

Love your qsmp au, it’s been haunting my brain for the past few hours. Jacob questioning his sanity makes me cackle. Love the concept of a character having a prominent person in their life being lost or replaced and having to find them. I’m particularly curious as to the dynamics Jacob has with the other qsmp members once he arrives on the island. Anyone they like, despise? How do they interact with a certain cat boy conspiracist and our resident eldritch care bear?

Also unrelated, love how Jo is just a concerned observer in all of this. His friend went from pretty okay mentally to “No Jo I’m telling you I’ve definitely had a roommate this whole time! You’ve met her in real life several times by now! Stop gaslighting me about the plushies I’m not a plush guy I wouldn’t buy these on my own. Fine, if there’s no roommate JO, then why is there a drawing tablet in that other room? There is a LIVE BIRD IN MY LIVING ROOM and yet I’ve never expressed interest in owning one. Worse yet, I haven’t MONETIZED IT?! THIS ISN’T FUNNY JOE MY LIFE HAS BECOME A TWILIGHT ZONE EPISODE”

the thing is, they first realized something was off when they were on stream and chatting w/ friends, said something along the lines of "yeah haha it's been so quiet without Jaiden around, hope she's having a good time" and someone goes oh who's Jaiden? and you can practically see the gears in his head turning. at some point he's like we'll they'll HAVE to believe me if i bring them over and they all see her room and setup and stuff right? and then some of their buddies arrive and go lol Jo you had such a weird setup before you left and Jo's just going along with it like yeah haha I don't even remember it, it was a weird time in my life and Jacob is FUMING

regarding dynamics, focusing on Cellbit + Jacob first, I don't think they trust each other at ALL at first. they're both nice to each other for the sake of being polite, but they literally CanNot trust the other, Cellbit because last time he trusted an "ally" he became employee of the month, and Jacob because not trusting anyone on the island comes with the package. over time, they begin to bond over their shared stressful experience, but it's a while till then

(taking this ^^^ into account, Cellbit is secretly ECSTATIC to have Jacob around. not because of Jacob himself, but because they can remember everything about the outside world whereas Cellbit cannot. they bring him a small sense of closure)

he definitely get along better with some of the other members, though. the first people that come to mind are Slimecicle, Roier and Baghera. other than that, he doesn't exactly have all the time in the world to interact with everyone on the island, so he's mostly neutral (except for those he knows has willingly worked with the federation, like Foolish or Elq. he doesn't trust that in the slightest)

with Cucorucho it's a bit of a different story. they've never interacted with it, and all they know about it is from Cellbit, so it's safe to say they'd rather keep off of it's radar. when he DOES meet with it, however, he's very offput by it. they laugh at first, yes, because Cucorucho literally looks like a life sized stuffed animal, but he very quickly gets disturbed by it, something made to look so friendly and undeceiving being capable of so much. he isn't a fan.

before i start i apologise for saying pepitos name so much but i must stand true to no pronouns. bare with me here

so i am. so very normal about pepito. i will admit at first i liked pepito because i liked my design for pepito and pepito was fun to draw, but the more i looked for pepito content the more i just. augh

bobby is still one of my favorite eggs but the way his death impacted jaiden and roier and the community as a whole was unlike any other death. but thats because of the love people had, the love his parents had, and it was just so empty without him. eventually we moved on, starbobby and flowers and sunsets to remember him.

and roier would never admit how much he missed bobby, he snapped at one point and this man. he has cellbit, he has jaiden, and richas, but he misses his son.

so take away richas, jaiden, AND cellbit, take away his family, leave them on purgatory, he doesnt have richas back yet. introduce new kids and it just so happens hes the only guy that can take care of pepito. with his family gone, pepito is all he has, but he doesnt want pepito.

now we go to pepitos point of view—pepitos just a little kid thats scared, and lonely, and just wants to be loved, for gods sake, and meets a guy. this guy is supposed to take care of pepito, supposed to love pepito. bagi even said something about dont worry, you will never be alone. theres a whole island of people here to help you. a promise that you will be loved.

but pepito gets parents that never show up, and the one that does gives him the chancla, pepito gets a dad in no mental state to take care of this kid, in the most emotionally unavailable place he can be in right now. pepito gets to live in the shadow of bobby and richas and all the family roiers lost and it fucking sucks because thats not who pepito is. pepito is pepitos own person, pepito cant be bobby, even if thats who roier wants. they are gone. or dead. and yet pepito cant make roier love pepito, its not and will never be pepitos turn to have that dad.

and despite bagis promise pepito ends up sleeping alone outside in the flowerbeds. “im tired, let me sleep.” but then fit and pac come and give pepito a little house around the bed, and later on leo takes care of their little cousin, and things seem to be changing? despite all the shit pepitos gone through and at this point trying to be loved is futile, maybe pepito doesnt have to try so hard to be loved, because these people already love pepito. so maybe we end on a high note for the little guy :) and i dunno. i love that kid, i hope things go well for pepito:”)

I have so many head canons I like showing. Some lean towards theory territory and others I legitimately do not believe in myself BUT I like drawing it out because WHY NOT !!?? I like the whimsy of it all

THE BLUEBIRD AU is purely me having fun. Its such an angst filled au that is coated with a mask of nuclear family and hurt/comfort. In reality its like being hit with a sauce pan repeatedly. I'm more of a scientist Jaiden believer personally. DON’T GET ME STARTED ON DEATHDUO- Man I want to go back to drawing self-indulgent stuff for that. Fuck this ask is making my brain engine go insane AUGHH-

Like stuff about Osito just being a huge flirt because of their exposure to Roier from the beginning or Baribal being a pot head, yeah those sort of head cannons I'm sure people are dying to hear from me (sarcasm). Or more serious ones like the relationship, more like lack of, between Cucurucho and Baribal being one of miscommunication that snowballed into hate but never enough to kill each other. Literally the trope of "twins separated where one is raised within evil and other is forced to take them down" but it's very dark grey from both sides. YESSIR

Or other theory territory like federation not knowing that Cucurucho and Osito are not the same person because it’s a secret- BUT THAT’S VERY FANON/THEORY TERRITORY AND TOO CONVOLUTED FOR HERE-

Oh and of course more tame head cannons like sexualities and stuff. Cucurucho is aromantic to me. All of them are transgender. The entire fed staff. Fuck even the purgatory island goobers. No real concept of what gender is and sort of adopted what the islanders do or what the federation refers to them as. It's just not a thing, same with labels on sexuality. If you like someone then you just like them and that’s how it rolls !!

THE WATCHER. MAN DO I HAVE THOUGHTS ON THIS GUY. Like actual constant threat and you are left scrambling trying to figure out the rules of not pushing the wrong buttons so you stay alive. I know his concept art had like him as a human at some point, but I like fungus goop watcher more. Little goober who just so happen to survive the longest, learn the most, and as a result evolve to what he is now. Eventually became strong enough to overthrow the previous leader (and consume them-) and is now king of the purgatory island in privacy. Until the new islanders were sent there ofc. So yeah, bro is very old, its why Cucurucho has no clue who this dude is when he does get to put a face to the name.

PHILZA. This guy is the kinda guy to put survival above all. So I like to imagine that not only would he be covered in scars because he tanks most of the hits and is generally a very selfless person- SOME SCARS HAVE A REASON ! The zombie scar being one of course, semi infected bc I like to think that he did not die in his hc world but rather came close to it. And his buildings is what caught the attention of the goddess of death and allowed for her to give him immortality and be her eyes in the mortal realm as her angel of death. So the poison is still in his foot, just unmoving. Stuck in time just like his body unable to age. As for the scar on his cheek? Nightmare Stalker grabbing him by the face and throwing him in the ocean the second time he tried to get up to save Tallulah. The only evidence left of that night happening. YES SHORT HAIR PHILZA AND POMME WITH A HIJAB YESSS

The zippers are supposed to show that their "head" is not actually what they look like. It’s a helmet/mask. I don't draw their real faces out of fear of making them look too "human" but rather I enjoy the implication that they COULD LOOK LIKE any other islander. Isn’t the thought that this horrible twisted shell of a being could look just as human as you so much more eerie? I dunno I was watching horror analysis videos of the unknown while building the fanon side of them- Now why their masks can emote?,,, its cartoon logic !! And it's cute I have so many thoughts on these guys can you tell? OH MY GODD THANK YOU THO. Augh this is the sweetest message ive ever read pls.im so so very glad these little guys can make you happy. That’s such an honor fr !!

Happy one year to the QSMP!!!!

There’s a lot going on with the server right now that is being sorted out, but I just want to share my appreciation for every part of this project.

This server means so much to me. I used to watch DSMP and it will always hold a special place in my heart, but as anything does, it ended. It was already dwindling out but I think the thing that really did it was technoblade passing. And I’m gonna be honest I’m still not over that. I watched him more than any other creator, he means so much to me. The time in between his death and the start of the qsmp was especially sad. I was just missing a lot. Him, the server he played on, that community, etc.

I wanted to engage with the content from the people that he played with, but it was hard. Every update about him, such as technodad streaming, dream making the song about him, was a lot emotionally.

Also not to mention I was sooo hyperfixating on both him and the dream smp as a whole. So it left a big void in my life. I wanted to be wholeheartedly invested in something again.

Around the beginning of 2023, I started watching old Quackity vods and that became my new comfort thing. Just the silly ones where he was watching soap operas and stuff.

Then not so long after I had started doing that, he announced the QSMP. I cannot describe to you my excitement. That week or so before it started I was just so excited. And before that lmaoooo I was not thriving. School was crazy busy, I cut my own bangs and it looked terrible, and that pretty much exemplifies where I was at.

I remember switching to slimecicle’s perspective at some point during the first stream and I followed him, fit, roier, and Mariana as they went mining and were very silly. I smiled the whole time. And then, I watched more the next day, and the next day.

I had forgotten what it felt like to be a part of something that was actively taking place. It had been a while since that was how the dream smp was. I would go weeks or months without any updates, and I would just be by myself reading fanfics.

It felt really fucking good to be able to enjoy something new. Not to replace what I had before, but to start a new adventure. That’s what it feels like to me.

There was a lot to keep up with at first and luckily I had social media to sum things up for me.

Fast forward and the Brazilian members join, then the French. Each time I was a little hesitant to accept them with open arms into my mind palace but it wasn’t very long until I couldn’t imagine the server without them.

And from day 1 I was so impressed with the planning and story of the server, forcing people to stay interested. That’s something the dream smp didn’t have. I honestly don’t think I would need any of the events to have a good time, but oh my god do they make it so fun.

And the animatics???? Hello?????? I love it so much.

Now I’ve learned to accept any new members immediately. Korean members join? TIME TO DRAW THEM!

Quackity started this project with a clear vision. It is so clearly a huge passion project for him. I don’t doubt for a second that it will keep going no matter what happens.

This server has exposed me to so many creators I would never have even heard of and that’s the point. I only speak English. Without this server, I would not know half of my current silly little blorbos.

I can’t believe how creative and funny Roier is. I think about Cellbit Bagi’s lore all the time. I find myself saying “I am the best!” After Etoiles. I’ve tried to absorb as much of the fuga impossivel lore as I can. I adore Baghera’s chaos. Even some of the English speaking people I didn’t really watch that much, like jaiden, fit, even slimecicle, who I now watch probably more than anyone else.

The other day, I watched the stream of cellbit and roier playing hospital 666. In Spanish!! I don’t speak Spanish!!! I only understood about half of what they’re saying and I’m sure that half is because of QSMP. That’s incredible. This is something so much bigger than any one of us.

QSMP has given me so many people to start watching and drawing/writing/thinking about. It has given me hours upon hours of laughing and smiling. It has given me a new hyperfixation to occupy my thoughts before bed.

It means so much to me. Ever since it started, I’ve been so much happier. I could never have imagined something like this would come around. Honestly, there is not anything like this. It is the first of its kind, hopefully not the last 👀

A year went by fast. And I’m so glad to have been here since the beginning. But even then, new people join this community all the time. That’s so cool. This server has in just a year added so many more content creators, and by extension, fans. It’s insane.

And I am so, so excited for what the future will bring us 😊

Your art is soo lovely. I could look at it for hours. Your colors and linework are soo pretty and I lovelovelove your character designs (gnc and/or very transgender and/or very creature.) I love all of your hannah and puffy and niki art especially. of course i am biased but I loovee how Hannah's just this plant insect combo with very few human traits and how Puffy has a lot of body hair and stubble on her face and Niki is everything. But then again it's really hard to pick favorites because your art and listening to you talk about Lolito has completely enraptured me to her and I've never even seen Karmaland I just love how you draw her. And all of your Lizzie designs are wonderful and you don't know how much I love that you made qNiki scene and your Tina and Jaiden designs are great and aughghgh. also the outfits you come up with are immaculate and I love them immensely and they're so fun and fit the characters you put them on so well. Hello! I haven’t posted anything for…a while now lmao but I HAVE been drawing. So, allow me to dump all my art in this post so I can disappear off the face of the Earth again because composing a good post is too much effort for my pathetic brain to handle /hj

I’ll try to put them in order of when they were made, but I’ll also group them into categories. The date as well as my signature can be found on all of the drawings (if you care lol)

This is a drawing I did for a friend of mine. It’s his original character, Mad Snake. Normally, I don’t like taking requests, but I genuinely enjoyed drawing this guy, so I didn’t mind it. He was a step out of my comfort zone, and I liked how he turned out!

Now, the Jaiden pieces! The first one was my idea that Jaiden started performing for Las Casualonas (but, like, as a singer or stage personality. She never actually did anything spicy). I also thought she and Melissa could have a really funny dynamic. Like some sort of rivalry for the audience’s attention/love.

The second picture, as it obviously states, is what I headcannon Jaiden looks like working for the federation. I had fun with her scythe (and if you pay close attention, you can see a little something in the reflection:])

And the third one is of Jaiden stretching w/ her wings. It’s also the most recent of this entire batch. Basically, I finally came up with a way that I liked to draw wings and had a sketch in my sketchbook of that pose, so I drew Jaiden. Her shirt intentionally comes down low in the back to make space for the wings, and her hands are out of frame because I didn’t want to draw them. Also, that one only took me about 2 and a half hours, where most of the other took from 6-8 hours, so…lol

The next pieces are an original work from 8th grade an the redraw two years later. It was an assignment that we had to read a novel and then make a trailer for it. I asked to make a drawing instead, and thus, this creation was born.

I changed a little bit, like putting two of the characters in the trees instead of a fading color behind them. Overall, they both took me three days and I’m really happy about how the redraw turned out.

This is Imp. Yes, he looks like SomethingElseYT, but I don’t care. I love him, and I was already attatched when I realized. I made a whole spread in my sketchbook for him (I ran out of images, so I didn’t include it here. Maybe another day) Also he serves no purpose other than being something I can doodle on random things and places. He doesn’t even have hands

This next one is a self-portrait in an outfit that I really liked! The original had my full name, but I blurred it for the sake of not wanting my full name on the internet (I’ve probably screwed up somewhere, but at least I’m trying :’)

And this last one is meant to be part of a collection, but I only made for Kenny. I want to draw all of the main four in South Park as teens, but I haven’t been able to think of poses and stuff for the others. It willl happen one day, but for now have this I guess

So, yeah. That was all the art that I wanted to share but haven’t had the motivation to actually put together posts for all of them. Hope you enjoyed my little display lmao

there are multiple instances where fluff is definitely a possibility for this pair. they’re just so adorable!

i like cuddling a lot- and defensive/protective ja¡den just for ro¡er and ßobby. or, ja¡den drawing with bobby, since they both enjoy and like that. ❤️

During winter, the family would have something like a fireplace for their warmth, but jaiden being jaiden— she likes cuddling instead. It isn’t like either boy of the family minds, they find it adorable. Jaiden, during winter, will wear so much more pajama clothing, to keep warm, and they find it funny, but comforting, because it’s just so lovely to see her.

Jaiden always asks to cuddle when their working on something. It’s not on purpose, it’s just a coincidence. She begs a lot, and does so constantly.

Bobby finally agreed to cuddle Jaiden- despite how much Bobby tried to disagree and run from his mama, and they notion to the fact that they had a fire place, Jaiden pleaded with “Cuddles! Cuddles! Cuddles! Now!” Like a chant. Bobby positioned itself on the couch- comfortable in the cushion. Her wings tightly wrapped around Bobby, and both her arm and leg did too- trapping the egg. Jaiden rested their chin on top of Bobby, and chirped. She fell asleep, with a smile on her face. Bobby was unable to move, held captive in his mother’s grasp. But— he wasn’t complaining one bit. He loved his mama.

I really love to think that Jaiden is a very persistent and clingy (wife) -person. She’d then proceed to literally trap them. Like they’re a possession. Especially with Bobby, since… he’s an egg. And Jaiden is a winged!human in my perspective.

I would love to see protective Ja¡den. But, I also would love to see these ideas, too!:

A thought just occurred to me. I was looking through the Tumblr trending page today and saw "bisexual" was trending. I scrolled through and saw an interesting infographic on what % of LGBT adults identify as, like 58% bi, 1.3% ace or something, whatever.

I identify as asexual. Way back when, I thought I might be bi because I didn't know what asexual was and, as Jaiden Animations says: zero = zero. I guess I like both, but also neither at the same time?

Anyways, I kept scrolling down on "bisexual" and I start to see like sexy bunny drawings and half naked girls and blah blah. "Sex sells" is completely lost on me. The appeal of boobie pictures or muscular dudes is completely over my head, always has been. I think you, Ace, probably get what I'm talking about here. So, I keep scrolling past thinking "who cares about this shit, literally who would want to look at this? .... Well I guess according to that infographic, like 98.7% of people probably understand this sexy lady crap more than I do". Then I think "whatever, I'm going to go back and look at some whump. There are some LOTR gifs that Ace posted recently that come to mind as well as some super whumpy fanart in my likes. Good shit.

All of this to say: Is how I like to look at, read, watch whump kind of like how people like to look at sexy bunny art? Is "sex sells" kind of like how I watched all of Graceland because you posted a gif of Mike handcuffed on the bed going through withdrawal? I completely understand "whumperflies" I caught the whumperflies from a single gif enough to watch that entire show, which I had never even heard of until seeing that gif. I got completely sucked into the Sonic fandom because of a collection of screenshots of Sonic carrying Tails. It happened to me with Teen Wolf, Outlander, others? (Now that I think about it your blog got me to watch a bunch of shows I don't think I normally would, so thanks!)

Is this somewhat what allo folks experience? Is whumperflies akin to sexual attraction in a way? I do wonder and I never thought about it this way until today.... I'm curious of your thoughts on this, Ace?

I also know that a large chunk of the whump community also identifies under the asexual umbrella so if anyone else has opinion?

Lol yeah I too do not understand the sex sells thing in society. I look at commercials like that one Rally's burger one where it's just a half naked woman sitting on a car eating a burger and I'm like "how does this shit work on anyone? Why would this make anyone want to eat a burger??" It genuinely makes no sense to me. But this is actually a theory I've seen once before on here! That our interest in whump/whumperflies is our version of "sexual attraction" which is definitely very interesting. I can see the connection very easily and there definitely are a lot of similarities in the feelings. I do wonder if how we feel whumperflies is how allos feel when they experience sexual attraction but who knows lol. Personally in my brain the two things are separate and I like to keep them separate. I don't like thinking of my whumperflies or my interest in whump as a sort of replacement for sexual attraction. Just feels super weird to me to think of it that way. I don't feel sexual attraction so I don't know what that feels like but I do have a sex drive and feel arousal and it's never happened with anything related to whump and it feels physically different to me than my whumperflies so it's all been kept separate for me. Just my own feelings though!

The sex sells/whump gifs thing is SO INTERESTING! I never thought about that but yeah you're right! For us it's definitely "whump sells" and not "sex sells" lol. Nothing gets me to watch a show faster than a good whumpy gifset lol. Sex? Sexy poses? Absolutely nothing for me. Actually it's much more a turn off than anything. Whump? Hot damn sign me up. It's fascinating and a very interesting theory for sure! Totally okay if others feel differently. Like you said there are a lot of aspec whumpers so I think there's definitely something to the theory. I don't know though! Very interesting idea!

Welcome back to my schizophrenic moments!

This time I bring Elmariana, god, I love the data I wrote very much and I plan to make one or another drawing of these, but for the moment I will not do it until I finish drawing all the characters!

Well, let's get started at once!

Mariana joined the hunters because she didn't want to leave her best friend alone (he doesn't know Bobby became a demon).

Manage lightning breathing.

He is constantly getting into trouble with demons. He is usually unlucky enough to meet them after hanging out with Roier.

Enjoy doing the missions with Roier and Jaiden.

He doesn't feel comfortable when Spreen is too close to Roier, nor does he like me much when I take off Roier's women's attire.

He suspects that Spreen is hiding something very important from them, because he always appears when they stop seeing him for several days. At times he thinks he is a demon because he has seen his fangs get thicker by the second, but he quickly dismisses it. Although he also thinks that he may be just another madman who is obsessed with Roier.

He misses Roier's younger sister, Melissa, but she died alongside Bobby and his grandfather when the demon attacked them.

The times he does missions with Quackity and Roier he has a good time, he loves them very much.

On a mission he met a strange demon, from his perspective he was about to eat a girl, so he attacked him, but seeing how the girl protected him he felt confused, but soon after the demon disappeared and left the girl alone. He discovered that it did not have a name and also that it is a creation of the devil, he thought of eliminating it, but he did not have the heart to do it, he named it Juana.

He discovered that Juana is immune to the sun, so no one suspects her. She usually helps him in his missions when he has to go alone.

Met Cellbit and introduced him to Roier.

He has had the opportunity to talk to Smile several times (he discovered that he was the demon he once tried to murder in the past for believing he was going to eat a girl), discovered that he was a good guy and has his doubts about whether Quackity knows that his friend is a demon.

Lost Joan after Spreen was revealed to be the top moon 1.

He didn't even know about the votes for Pilar or Quackity's betrayal, as he was very depressed about losing Juana and Smile.

At times he thought about taking his own life, because his best friend had his current partner and discovered that Bobby was alive, he thought that his life no longer had meaning, but after some talks with Vegetta he managed to cheer up and decided to stay alive.

He decided to be against ambushing the demons. He was expelled from the organization, but he still has his gun.

He thinks that everything can be solved by talking to Quackity, because he believes that he can put an end once and for all to everything, but he changes his mind when he sees again how Juana and Smile were alive. He doesn't know whether to become a demon to be with them.

It's been a lot of fun writing part of your story! I wanted to draw it with Smile and Juana, but I decided to save that idea for the future hahahahahaha The next character is one of which I loved how I look!

Bien, comencemos de una vez!

Mariana se unió a los cazadores porque no quería dejar a su mejor amigo solo (no sabe que Bobby se convirtió en demonio)

Maneja la respiración del rayo.

Constantemente se ve metido en problemas con demonios. Por lo regular tiene la mala suerte de encontrarse con ellos después de haber pasado el rato con Roier.

Disfruta mucho hacer las misiones con Roier y con Jaiden.

No se siente cómodo cuando Spreen está demasiado cerca de Roier, ni tampoco le agrado mucho cuando le quito el atuendo de mujer a Roier.

Sospecha que Spreen les está ocultando algo muy importante, pues siempre aparece cuando lo dejan de ver varios días. Por momentos piensa que es un demonio por que ha visto cómo sus colmillos se hacen más gruesos por segundos, pero lo descarta rápidamente. Aunque también piensa que puede ser solo un loco más que está obsesionado con Roier.

Extraña a la hermana menor de Roier, Melissa, pero ella murió junto a Bobby y su abuelo cuando los ataco el demonio.

Las veces que hace misiones con Quackity y Roier se la pasa bien, los quiere mucho.

En una misión se encontró con un extraño demonio, desde su perspectiva estaba a punto de comer a una niña, así que lo ataco, pero al ver como la niña lo protegió se sintió confundido, pero poco después el demonio desapareció y dejo a la niña sola. Descubrió que no tenía un nombre y también que es una creación del demonio, pensó en eliminarla, pero no tuvo el corazón para hacerlo, le puso el nombre de Juana.

Descubrió que Juana es inmune al sol, así que nadie sospecha de ella. Ella le suele ayudar en sus misiones cuando le toca ir solo.

Conoció a Cellbit y se lo presento a Roier.

Ha tenido la oportunidad de hablar varias veces con Smile (descubrió que era el demonio que una vez intento asesinar en el pasado por creer que se iba a comer a una niña), descubrió que era un buen tipo y tiene sus dudas sobre si Quackity sabe que su amigo es un demonio.

Perdió a Juana después de que Spreen se revelara como la luna superior 1.

Ni siquiera se enteró de las votaciones para pilar ni de la traición de Quackity, pues estaba muy deprimido por perder a Juana y Smile.

 Por momentos pensó en quitarse la vida, pues su mejor amigo tenía a su actual pareja y descubrió que Bobby estaba vivo, pensó que su vida ya no tenía sentido, pero tras unas platicas con Vegetta logro animarse y decidió mantenerse con vida.

Decidió estar en contra de la emboscada a los demonios. Lo expulsaron de la organización, pero aún conserva su arma.

Piensa que todo se puede solucionar hablando con Quackity, pues cree que él puede poner un fin de una vez a todo, pero cambio de opinión  al ver de nuevo como Juana y Smile estaban con vida. No sabe si convertirse en demonio para estar con ellos.

Ha sido muy divertido escribir parte de su historia!

Quería dibujarlo junto a Smile y Juana, pero he decidido guardar esa idea para el futuro hahahahaha
