M a n,, i used to love bnha so much - it's kinda sad to see how like. It's gotten This bad(?) Rushed(?) Over-the-top(?)

Like, the main thing thats SO disappointing is the quirks,,, each one had established traits or properties, and Yeah - they can grow or evolve a bit, bnha was SUPPOSED to be about being in a hero school and about learning and improving. If one of 1-a had trained and improved their quirk , or discovered a new way to wield it - great! 10/10 tha's growth baby

Anyways, apart from the previous mentioned example of a quirk 'changing' -The idea of each quirk having their set in stone limits and function is a real good way to show off characters!!!! In a battle, or even in rescue situations, we could see each member of 1-a use their quirks differently, how some are more suited for different tasks, how some limits have to be worked around etc

In battles especially -it would be satisfying to see a character use their skills and quirk Cleverly. Using the surroundings around them to their advantage, trying to use their quirk in new ways whilst still battling their limits,,

BUT. Instead i feel like all battle wins or 'improvements' arent. Earned??? The quirk will just 'power up' or 'evolve', (cough cough bakugou), or theres just the kinda. 'Im gonna yell harder and be more determined, so im STRONGER than u now >:] ' kinda vibe,,?

Im not a big bakugou fan lol, but even i would think it would be better to see him fight, if his battles revolved around thr quirk we know he has and how he wields it and how his strategy goes. Instead of. OH, suddenly he can do this now without any prior hinting to it or without it even MAKING SENSE for his quirk to be capable of,,,,,

I dont know if im phrasing this right tbh,,, its just something thats such a let down for the series :[

I think if the academia part of my hero ACADEMIA was longer, it'd pay off better with seeing these new 'abilities' being learnt or discovered naturally in the story,, even the more. Out there quirk evolutions would be a bit easier to accept then lol

Now the series kinda has no stakes?? Because you cant get a feel for a battle, if randomly a new power is unlocked that completely changes the tides of it with no warning, or if randomly one character is just Stronger than the other and nothing else,, theres no suspense, if a character is at a disadvantage - we dont read that and get excited for how the character will creatively get around this set-back. They'll just 'get strong' i guess,,

I am SO SORRY this is so long . I just think that the quirks allowed for so much creative possibilities in bnha, and its so sad to see it not be used :[[

(Im mainly upset about characters like yaoyorozu, because HELLO!???? Her quirk.??? Could be used in so many creative ways in a fight??????? Why is she just in the bg not doing anything whilst characters with less possabilities are in the foreground pulling magic evolutions outta no-where--)

All of this. MHA as a series had immense potential. There were moments in it where I enjoyed what I was seeing. Sadly MHA crashed and burned so quickly.

AI. The next big thing? Rambly thoughts.

I genuinely believe that AI will be as significant and important in the coming decades as the internet has been in the prior few.

I was already incredibly impressed by the writing generated by GPT2, and even more so by the more recent GPT3, but it’s the recent developments in image generation AI like DALL-E 2 and Google’s Imagen that have utterly blown my mind.

Essentially these are AI systems trained on a large amount of text and images, who can be given a text prompt and will try and return an image of whatever you write. I was playing around with VQGAN + CLIP (one such set of algorithms) based image generation some months ago, but it’s rather rudimentary. It can make some interesting abstract art like so:

..but it falls apart when you actually ask it to draw very specific things. For example, this is what VQGAN + CLIP outputs when I input the phrase “baby fennec sneezing on a strawberry, studio, dark bg, portrait, droplets, backlit ears“

If you look closely you can see some fennec ears, and it certainly has been inspired by the colour of a strawberry, but beyond that, there’s little in that picture that remotely resembles anything in my prompt. But let’s take a look at some more advanced AI algorithms. First, ruDalle’s attempt at the same prompt:

Definitely a lot more Fennec like, although there’s some weird ears sticking out of it, and no sign of that strawberry or the droplets or anything else in the prompt.

Then with DALL-E Mini, we suddenly get a huge leap forward in quality:

The fennec and the strawberry are there. The droplets and the sneeze, not so much, but it’s already incredibly that an AI is able to generate these images from scratch. Which is something to note - all of these images are completely brand new. These AI algorithms are NOT just recreating bits of existing images from their dataset. They are drawing brand new images after having been trained on what each of the things in your prompt look like. So with that out of the way, let’s look at the latest and greatest of AI image generation algorithms. DALL-E 2, and its attempt at that exact same prompt:

No, those aren’t photos. Those are brand new images that the AI was able to create in about 30 seconds after inputting the prompt I listed above. If you told me some of these were real photos, I would easily believe it. This is just a single area of AI research, but these sorts of algorithms are being trained to do all manner of things, from write poetry and stories, to answer questions and have conversations, to navigate self-driving cars, and much more. Some of these algorithms are far exceeding our expectations too, and doing things we can’t quite understand - like how AI is able to identify someone’s gender just using a close-up picture of their iris, something we’ve yet to be able to explain. This has to be probably the most significant/greatest leap forward in technological progress since the creation of the internet, and as of yet it seems to be slipping under a lot of peoples’ radars. I am very excited to see what the upcoming decades hold. (Just a note by the way, other than the first two images from VQGAN + CLIP, the images in this post are not mine. I found them on Reddit where someone was comparing ruDALLE, DALL-E Mini and DALL-E 2 - and decided to run the same prompt through VQGAN + CLIP on Nightcafe Studio just for comparison sake.)

a/n: IT’S HERE!!! omg i’m so sorry this took forever 😭 anyways, here’s where you’ll learn about dawn’s relationships with the boys! i was debating on whether or not to write this in paragraphs or in bullets, and i found bullet points easier :) hopefully you like it! i’ll probably be adding more to this as more ideas come to me, but i’d rather post this now than leave it in my drafts :’) i’m sorry this took so long to write, school has been v v stressful lately 🤧

Dawn’s Relationships With BTS

joon obviously joined bighit the earliest, way back in 2010

then came yoongi, hobi, and jin, also in 2010

these 3 were already starting to build a friendship (or at least learning to tolerate each other) and then all of a sudden

bam

bang pd came up to them one day at the start of 2011 and suggested that they might be getting a new member

and they all just went “!!!”

and so after lots of cleaning and making some room available (and long, heated chats about who it might be) the day came — february 14th

they were all low-key kind of nervous because bang pd hadn’t given any details about who the person was or what their background was like

they were all attempting to relax before they heard a knock at the door and everyone just kind of stared at each other for a quick second before sprinting over to open it

they all greeted each other before he stepped further inside the dorm, although he still stayed relatively close to the door frame

everyone nodded but they were kind of confused because where??? was the kid??? what did he look like???

hobi once walked in on them ranting about voltron’s 8th season in their final form of polyglotism and was so scared that he just shut the door and left

... he then proceeded to warn everyone else to not go 5 feet near that room

kookie didn’t believe him and is now scared of the power they wield

ok so like they’re supposed to be super responsible but i can totally see them abusing this power for whatever reason and just inflicting pain on everybody else lmao

going for hikes or walks through nature together :]

during concerts they immediately notice if the other looks like they’re struggling and they try their best to help them out in any way possible

whenever he sees her cry he can feel his heart break :(

lots of hugs, words of encouragement, and gently running fingers through hair

however, she doesn’t forget the fact that he’s their leader first and foremost

she’s always seeking some type of approval, especially from him, whether it’s showing him some lyrics she wrote or the beat of a new production project

she always stays with him if he needs help with dancing (*´꒳`*)

or if he’s overwhelmed, she’ll do little things in order to help lessen the load on him

he’s the responsible and mature type of older sibling to her and she‘s constantly thanking him for how much he’s helped her grow and for always looking out for her :’)

the oldest and youngest!

jin was definitely the one that dawn latched onto the quickest when she first arrived

he reminded her the most of her brother back home :(

he tried his best to make sure she was comfortable because he could only imagine how difficult it was to leave everything behind and move to a new country, by yourself, at 10 years old

she fell in love with his cooking and complimented him about it all the time

these two love cooking, it’s how they first bonded and it’s how they spend most of their quality time together

that, or she’s destroying him at mario kart :D

half the time these two are together they‘re acting like a married couple

they’re always making sure the others are ok

it was kind of funny at first because dawn was the youngest by a long shot but she acted super motherly sometimes

in fact, it was pretty easy to forget just how young she was in comparison to everyone because she was always taking care of them

because jin is the oldest, he’s the one dawn will go to first if she has any type of problem

he always tries his best to help her out no matter what

these two would practice singing and dancing a lot together

just like jin, dawn didn’t really have any singing experience before she joined bighit, so they’d often help each other out with practicing their lines

reviewing dances together until it was muscle memory

working too hard and knowing it but continuing anyways because they felt like they were dragging the others down :(

being so tired when getting back to the dorm that they’d just fall asleep in whoever’s room was closest

jimin was gonna ask what movie they should watch but saw them cuddling while fast asleep and snapped a pic before leaving them be

xiajin woke up so confused but then panicked once they checked the time because they were out for 4 hours??? who’s gonna feed the children??? are they starving to death??? and rushing to the living room only to find everyone chilling and eating takeout

there was some food saved some for them so all was good :D

... minus the fact that joon was nervously checking the kitchen every 10 minutes to make sure they didn’t see the evidence of his failed attempt at baked sweet potatoes

these two are just so wholesome so please protect them :(

if you asked these two about their first interaction, they’d probably laugh because you’d never be able to tell how different it once was

now we all know our boy yoongi is a tiny bit standoffish

but finding out a girl was being added to their group, out of nowhere, was a huge shock to him

he thought that this would ruin their chances of success as a hip hop group

boy was he wrong

he didn’t really speak to her all that much the first few weeks or so because he was so focused on all the uncertainty that was ahead of them

however, that all flew out the window when he quickly grew to realize just how passionate dawn was about music

she seemed to possess perfect pitch, just like him, and could somehow hear melodies and beats in the cacophonous symphony of everyday life

she always wanted to help, whether she was just observing them work, helping them write lyrics, or joining in the production process

but on top of all that, she was a really fast learner

whatever standards anyone had set for her, she completely broke them, and yoongi admired her for that

so when he found himself looking for xiahui one day to ask if she could listen to something new that he had produced, he realized that she had grown on him

he panicked a little because he was supposed to be the intimidating one and how could he possibly have a soft spot for her already, it's only been a month or so

nevertheless, after standing in front of a mirror for 5 minutes to make sure his poker face was perfect and that no, he wasn’t smiling, he asked her if she could help him in the studio for a little bit and her smile afterwards

after that, chilling in the studio was Their Thing™

whether it was making beats or just taking a nap and hiding from everyone else, it was fun

yoongi asking dawn to record a demo and then she messes up on purpose to make him laugh :)))

they’re each other’s rock, they’re always making sure the other is fed and well rested because they’re the most prone to locking themselves in their studio for indefinite periods of time

heated conversations lasting for hours on end

taking naps literally anywhere

she brings out his sweet and goofy side, he’s completely relaxed whenever she’s around

the two of them holding hands whenever they’re next to each other out of instinct 🥺

back hugs during concerts!!! his gummy smile is guaranteed plus army loves them :)

dawn is probably the only one with the passcode to the genius lab

she’ll bring him brownies after a long day :]

or she’s playing hide and seek with the other maknaes and yoongi helps her cheat by letting her camp out in his studio

or it’s 4:12 am and he’s pretty exhausted but he’s almost done writing this song

if he could just come up with another minute’s worth of lyrics he’ll be happy... but why is his mind so blank

almost on cue, a sleepy dawn appears! ... swaddled in a blanket with prominent under eye bags :(

yoongi letting her climb onto his lap and snuggle against him for a bit while he threads his fingers through her hair and... yep, she’s asleep 🥺

both of them falling asleep on the couch a few feet away because they’re too tired

overall a very soft and pure sibling type relationship, seeing them together is always just so sweet

dawn kind of struggled with some aspects of hip hop at first

while she was pretty good at popping, the other harsh movements? no thanks

he stayed with her all the time to make sure she wasn’t confused and walked her through everything :)

due to late night dance sessions they end(ed) up eating together like,,, a lot

he always insists on paying but jokes about how dawn owes him like $1000 in terms of food bills

introduced her to different dance styles that might be easier for her to get into, now she’s a waacking, shuffling, and tutting queen ✨

they make their own choreos together just for fun, but never plan on showing anybody else because they'd be too embarrassed or it’s literally just 3 minutes of crack (remember war of hormone?) lmao

these two are the annoying best friends

when they first met, they were kind of shy around each other

that, and jimin was low-key kind of jealous about all the attention dawn usually got from the other boys

he hated himself for hating her in such a petty way, especially since it was so unlike him, but that changed shortly after he arrived

he came to the practice room early one day, hoping to have it all to himself for a little bit, but noticed dawn had beaten him to it

she looked like she had been here for awhile now, but something was off

it wasn’t until she turned to face him that jimin saw she had been crying :(

and boom

friendship acquired! :D

they’ll be so cute and touchy and everything

but then they’ll turn around and have a high note battle at 2 am while everyone else is trying to sleep

Like Tanaka and Taketora, the pair met on the streets except instead of brawling they had a rather--- exhilarating first meeting?

Let’s just say it ended with a broken store front and two very angry motherly figures from both respective teams

anywho, let’s get into the gritty bits. This boy, is deadass the all-rounder.

He may not be as noticed or remembered like the other members, but it definitely adds to his skill set as he’s able to easily and swiftly move throughout the field without any sort of issue. 

Once tried to teach Lev how to be sneaky and holy fuck he’s never gonna forget that day 

His main specialty is being the ‘1st Warning’ when payments are late after their services have been completed

is pretty good at holding a decent conversation with the buyers, but talks better with his fists when they become a little too... confident

A chorus of chuckles. The shaking of hands and leisure smiles were shared across the room as the 5 individuals greeted one another before seating themselves at the table. Some of them jesting at the youngest in the room as the figure could only let out a laugh before seating himself at the head of the table. 

“Greetings, I’m here as a representative for my business. I’ve been told by my senior that you all are looking to use our services?” 

The question fell quickly, as he wasn’t really here to sit and beat around the bush. That came for later, to test and see how the clients here ticked and who would be the first on his list for a visit. Of course the responses were initially normal, though as time ticked on and their demands were being placed on the table, tensions began to arise as a handful of them began to get cocky. 

Their statements running freely with no consideration to the sinister smile that began to form on the young man’s usually sweet face. Within a moment’s notice, one of the ruder clients found the ground to be their new best friend as they sputtered and choked against the heavy weight around their throat.

“Let this be a reminder to you all, that even if I am young...I know exactly what I’m doing.”

makes little mistakes here and there tbh, but Kenma fixes them quickly and shows him tips and tricks to counteract the problem

besides training with Kenma, he also works in the lab to make and develop more equipment for missions as well as products to sell to potential clients

doesn’t necessarily engage on the field, is usually back at base help from home

gives heads up and advice from information he sees on the dark web when handing off assignments

Skimming over the information once more. The young male couldn’t help but furrow his brows in confusion. It was odd. The coding, the message, the timing. All of it just told him that there was something more at play. That this purchase was hiding a much more bigger, sinister scheme. 

“...Odd.” Indeed it was, of course he’d run it by the older strategist when he went to collect the assignments to pass out. Yet he couldn’t help but once he brought it up a war would break out within their sanction.

He isn’t as tall as the others, nor is he the most buff but he does make up for what he lacks physically by helping create equipment and making sure his teammates will be safe on the field

definitely frequents sparring matches with the other rookies to keep in shape

definitely makes up for his mess on the field, despite still making mistakes here and there, he shows improvement every time he’s assigned a new mission.

Out of all the skills he’s learned, he definitely likes the skills of interrogation

You just need to pay the money and let us know who your second supplier is~!” A gleeful voice echoed throughout the desolate chamber as the seated individual trembled in the metal chair. When no response was given, a sharp click of the tongue was heard as a cry of pain cut through the tense air. The clang of the metal chair hitting the concrete floor as a boot pressed the victim’s head tortuously slowly into the ground.

“I’m not here to keep playing this little game...I know you’ve been selling our information to a competitor...and honestly none of us like that. Though...it is good to say that you’re not the only one selling secrets~.” A wicked grin, and pearly whites were tattooed into the victim’s mind as the horror of their darkest deeds were being sold. Though this group wouldn’t do such a thing...right?

“I know what you’re thinking...and honestly, it’s not true~ We made quite the pretty penny~.”

has a large variety of tattoos over his body along with old and fresh battle scars and bruises

he’s more lean than bulky but incredibly toned from his intensive workouts

is always wrapped around s/o and follows them like a lost puppy at times when he really wants affection

The most quiet member and shyest member

rarely ever causes issues in the group tbh 

he’s yaku’s favorite since he’s the least problematic rookie

despite being the shyest member, he really wows his members by being the eyes and ears.

During recon or sniping missions he’ll be the eyes and ears for the members by updating them in real time of what the target is doing and what things they will need to notice for.

Is one of the better gun handlers in the rookie group

“Target is heading off course. Distracted by a guest in the common room.” Sharp and quick, the usually soft voice spoke confidently as brown eyes analyzed the situation and how to move on from there. An annoyed sigh left his lips as he skimmed over the live CCTV footage before updating the assassins on the field.

“High chance that enemy organizations have infiltrated the assignment. Proceed with caution. Odd amount of cars coming up.” 

Furrowing his brows, the male continued to debrief the team coordinating and helping them get through the mission with as little issue as possible before letting out a pleased sigh as the target laid dead. The assassins immediately retreating as the veteran driver grinned, starting their car and returning to base.

Cheerio chapter 1

He could easiliy just go kill Quartz, but that might leave Cherri too depressed for a new relationship so soon knowing his mental health and all the pill he already takes... he totally didn't hack his computer moniter and cameras in his house to stalk him...

He thought for a while on how he can get Quartz away from Cherri. Cherri doesn't actually know he exists yet, so he thinks on how he can show his first impressions off to him in a good way. Or maybe a loving relationship isn't what he wants, what about a love hate relationship, he's seen how much his so called dad, Fluff,(not biological churro didn't have a dad and Fluff reminded him of his real dad), likes those types of relationships as seen with his "friend" Scott, or as he likes to call him bag guy (cuz he has a bag head :3), so he considers that for his relationship... maybe that's what he wants... someone that hates their way into falling for him... he's not completely sure

Later in the evening, Churro asks his dad how he feels about his relationship with BG, he just says "It's fun having playing with someone I know hates me, it's probably just a messed up kink that runs in the family, but... you're not my real son, so I'm not sure if you have a calling for it"

1am rolls around and Churro begins feeling... "excited" He fires up his laptop and opens up everyones favorite website... pornhub! Because of his tentacle arms, he thinks of doing that to Cherri once he gets him in a relationship with him... he begins dazing off thinking about it and slowly begins to attempt to stroke his dick... but can't get full enjoyment out of it cuz he got no handssss So he bends down and tries to suck his own dick to get the slightest amount of enjoyment from this. But because he's a short, fat, unflexible fuck, he struggles trying to get his mouth to his dick, making the weirdest noises, like a mix between a sexual moan and a cry for help. sooooo this is her full bio, and it’s bullet format and relatively short (i think?) BUT if you want the quick and dirty, here it is:

31 years old, airbender. first born daughter of council member rinzen (torma family!).

fc is sonoya mizuno and she’s literally the perfect fc because she’s a dancer and there’s a shit ton of pics with her in motion! would have made her a waterbender, but also - the air nation needed some loving!

her family calls her “liya” as the a is an easy way to draw out her name as a term of endearment, close friends will probably also call her liya or soli! otherwise, she also goes by “soli” or “so” to acquaintances...otherwise, assume full name of “soliya” 

inspiration for her actually came during a rando conversation with my roommate, we talked a little bit about sarira, which is basically...“although the term sarira comes from the sanskrit word for “body” (शरीर), and can be used for relics like teeth or parts of buddha’s skull, it typically refers to the crystalline traces that remain after a respected buddhist’s corpse is burnt...in some cases, sarira are said to grow from the bodies of living people, usually at the culmination of a religious experience.“ we then talked about how in her family’s case, her mother used to tell her that buddhist monks would carry all their rage and pent up feelings and it would be pressed into these little ‘remnants’ and after cremation, you could see just how much they suffered and how much their self-discipline kicked in, by seeing how many of these sarira remnants remained. (this is more clear if you read my bio)

soooo yes! wild child, cocky as hell, confident and just...like, she’d be someone you’d want to party with.

literally the most stubborn child/teenager you could ever have met. people on air temple island were convinced that she was swapped at birth with another baby, and thought that she may be better suited as a fire or earth bender. but she had a natural affinity for airbending which shut them up for a while!

traveled around a LOT to the other nations and the north, east, south, and west air temples with her father!

LOVES HER SIBLINGS TO DEATH AND BACK! would probably kill for them (esp during her wild child days)

but really seriously injured one of her younger siblings (looking for this muse/plot aye) at the age of 16, and like - so much guilt

self isolated for about 4 months in guilt after, then went on a soul search at the other air temples for about another month. meditated - a lot, started to practice self-discipline

went into hardcore airbending training for about another 4 months, so total of 8 months of only air temple interactions and turned 17 during this self journey (aka went off the grid to anyone else in the 3 other nations)

disposition changed HEAVILY, went from wild child to very calm, relaxed, placid (still friendly though!) so anyone who knew her before is probably like ???? tf ???

but from like 17-28 was still a continuous journey of self-control as she travels around with her father on diplomatic visits and then more so on her own as she gets older, but by now she’s pretty good at keeping her outward emotions/outburts all inside.

doesn’t mean her control and discipline is perfect though!

season three episode one

Okay everyone, Siesta Key just ended and I must say – I’m overall VERY pleased with the premiere of Season 3. Even though I know everything that’s happening in this season because I created a reddit account specifically for access to a thread dedicated to all things SK, and because they posted everything that happens on the Siesta Key Instagram, I was still shocked by one thing: how much I enjoyed the episode. Let’s cut to the feeling.

Fade in. There he is – the mystery man I’ve been dying to meet – SCOTT. That’s right, Fabienne’s husband. You may know him as Juliette’s Father. Chic French queen Fabienne and confused husband Scott congratulate Juliette on her graduation from FSU and suggest she become an attorney. Juliette has plans of her own – retail. They look elated. After making a weird sex joke to her Dad, and having visible difficulty adjusting to her new veneers, Juliette has graduated, the scene is over, and I am feeling great about the season.

If you’ve ever watched SK, you know three things for sure. 1. Juliette is a hideous crier. 2. Canvas’ Mother has a complete lack of understanding when it comes to parenting. 3. Kelsey and Juliette do NOT get along. UNTIL NOW! It’s very exciting to see their first scene as not only friends – but also roomies! Even though Kelsey’s bizarrely shaped eyebrows, over plumped fake lips and orange spray tan make me feel like she must have NO real friends, because certainly, they wouldn’t let her butcher her appearance so thoroughly, she and Juliette seem to get along swimmingly by talking mad shit about Chloe. We love to see women supporting women by talking shit about other women.

Chloe, you minx! Chloe pulls up to Alex’s mansion in a Bentley toting about ten designer bags and a serious attitude. After she explains to his mother that she’s taken it upon herself to pickuppe some “luxury” clothing items for Alex in Sarasota, Florida, even though he’s quite literally in EUROPE, she also *subtly!* drops that he’s left behind his personal credit card for her own use. Weird brag, but more importantly: cha-ching! After talking shit about Juliette to a grown woman, they switch the conversation to Madisson’s new man. Queue Malibu by Miley Cyrus. Ma-jor props to whoever created the playlist for this epi.

After a stunning underwater montage from Florida to Cali, we see aspiring model/actress Maddison walking into a dinner date. Even though Chloe’s just gabbed to Alex’s mother that Braddison is no more, I still half expect BG to pop up and hold the door open for Madi. Just kidding, I don’t, because the producers of this show spilled quite literally every twist before it aired. Wait, speaking of producers – who is Madisson on a date with? Oh, it’s “ISH”, the FORTY-SIX-YEAR-OLD, BALD, AND OVERWEIGHT FORMER PRODUCER OF SIESTA KEY. Unlike Juliette’s father, Scott, I’ve met Madisson’s Dad before, so it’s not immediately apparent to me as to why she has serious Daddy issues. I’m hoping the root of this unfolds during the season. Ish, or “baby” as Madisson calls him, (again, he’s 46, so I’m not sure “baby” is the most fitting nickname, but to each her own) decides it will be totally normal to jet back to the key and surprise the children he used to exploit the cast with the announcement of his new relationship. I can’t wait.

Okay, we’re back at a dinner date – but a much more age-appropriate one between Juliette and her new man, former bachelorette contestant, Robby. I’m not a bachelor franchise fan and unfortunately for Robby, I’m NOT a Robby fan either. He’s not hot and he’s not cool. That’s literally it. Discussing this further would be a waste. Oh, it’s worth noting that new roomies Chloe and Madisson also meetuppe during this time to discuss Madisson and Ish. (Mish, if you will. Some prefer Dadisson.) Thank you, Chloe, for reacting to the news in a very relatable way by chugging alcohol and hiding in your clothing.

Um, who is this hottie emerging from a PJ? It’s the fabulous Cara, with a new nose! Normally I love to hate her - she has that je ne sais quoi – but right now, I just love her. Removing your nose job bandages on film is the kind of 2020 realness I need in my life. Enter G BABY! We’ve missed you and your utter lack of awareness, Garrett! But the love birds aren’t exactly happily reuniting – there’s def some tension in the air. Uh oh! Cara immediately becomes annoyed that Garrett both broke her heart AND kept his lips shut about her new nose. Poll – would you rather your boyfriend intentionally squeeze your fat as fuck thighs, or neglect to comment on your surgically enhanced face? The choice is yours.

While Juliette’s graduation party is great, if Alex doesn’t throw a start-of-the-summer rager, I’m suing MTV. More specifically, I’m suing YOU, Gary. Anyways, as Juliette and de ghurls are getting ready for the party, Juliette’s asked who she likes boning more – Boring Robby or shrek Alex. She hesitates for a moment but then says Robby. I take that pregnant pause as a confirmation of what I’ve known all along – Alex is great in bed and that’s the only reason Juliette was obsessed with him. (Edit – this has been confirmed on her Instagram story.)

Cut to: Cara, G baby, and Cara’s new androgynous and likely lesbian friend, Victoria, getting drinks. I don’t know what’s more confusing – the fact that Cara claims Victoria is her best friend or the fact that Garrett continues to piss Cara off by defending Kelsey while she incessantly brings her up.

Party time! But it wouldn’t be a party without Chloe intervening in something that has nothing to do with her in an attempt to destroy Juliette’s happiness. While wearing a Kentucky derby inspired hat/headband, nonetheless! Chloe and Amanda sit down with Boring Robby the second he arrives to grill him with some genual questions about his “intentions” with Juliette. And I can’t help but immediately think of that scene in Twilight when Police Chief Charlie Swan pulls out his shotgunné to intimidate his daughter’s 108-year-old vampire soul mate. At this point, I have to question Chloe’s sexuality because I can’t think of a single other reason as to why she would be so invested in Juliette’s relaysh with Robby. Is he a “phony”, simply using Juliette for fame? Maybe! But aren’t they all kind of doing that anyway? It’s like, they’re on a reality show for God’s sake. After Boring Robby says absolutely nothing of interest, (read: BORING Robby,) something actually exciting happens. Kelsey slithers over to publicly flirt with G baby in an attempt to piss off Cara, and it totally WORKS! Nice!

The second Cara sees Kelsey and G baby talking, her eyes fill with fire and she almost burns her new nose off. It’s funny that she portrays herself as such a sophisticated, cosmopolitan gal, yet she’s so blatantly insecure about trashy Kelsey and Garrett, the braindead body of meat, talking about absolutely nothing. Stop slumming it and start dating Zaddies like Madisson!

After Garrett tells Kelsey that Cara has banned him from talking to her, Kelsey marches up to Cara, grabs her by the hand, and you just KNOW the rumors are true – World War III is HAPPENING! Kelsey and Cara immediately establish that they’re not each other’s “kind of person”, and then Kelsey tells Cara that she can’t wait for Cara’s “life to explode.” Cara fires back with the ULTIMATE diss, claiming that Kelsey doesn’t even have her GED! We find out this is, in fact, not true via Instagram, thanks to Kelsey’s iconic photo of none other than GARRETT holding her on her graduation day. Okay, high school level educated kween! Go off!

Here’s the thing: I dislike Cara and Kelsey, both for entirely different reasons, but IMO, Kelsey won this round. Cara came off as insecure, psychotic, and just plain mean! Cara, a word of advice? Stop gallivanting around tacky Florida and return home to America’s Kingdom – New Jersey.

 Pay close attention everyone - we’re almost done and you’re about to witness reality show television HISTORY. And it is a BAG. OF. WEIRD. After Boring Robby buys Juliette a trip to Greece, Madisson and her new Dad man walk in, and EVERYONE IS SHOOK. Seriously. The cast is genuinely shocked. Please note their faces when Madisson and Ish waltz into Juliette’s grad party hand in hand. Arguably the most thrown off person of all, of course, is BG. He hastily confronts his former producer, and refers to Ish’s relationship with his ex as a “bag of weird.” Honestly, Brandon, I have to agree with you. And so does literally everyone else in the world.

After Brandon huffs, puffs, and exits, everyone gets over the initial shock of Madisson’s upsettingly old “boy”friend and the episode winds down. But there’s one twist. We learn via Chloe’s texts that Alex is on his way back from Europe. Probably wearing all the luxe clothes Chloe shipped him from Siesta Key. Because who trusts European clothes, am I right? Anyways, something tells me that Boring Robby doesn’t stand a chance once Alex touches down on the Key. But we’ll have to wait until next week to find out.
