One great day in the thousand sunny...

"SANJIIII FOOODDD!!!"

"YOU JUST ATE ONE MEAT A WHILE AGO!"

After getting rejected for the 10th time luffy shuts his mouth and pouted as he didn't get meat and just gave up as he didn't want sanji to get mad at him for pestering him for food anymore.

"Yes Hello? This is Nami"

"Ohh N-Nami-san"

"Oho? Bepo!"

Chopper and Ussop's heads turn around at the mention of Bepo's name.

"What's the occassion and you get to call us bepo?"

"U-Uhmm well I have a problem and I think only you humans can answer it for me"

Both Chopper, Ussop and Nami looked at each other and replied.

"What is it then Bepo?"– Chopper

"W-Well our captain is weird today..."

"Mhm and? Isn't he weird everyday?" Ussope said and got a slap on the back of his neck by nami.

"Ussop get serious! This is Bepo on the line we are talking to"

"Continue Bepo"

"W-Well as I said C-Captain is acting weird today..."

"Like? What kind of weird Bepo? We need details"

"Y-You know he always looked deadpan and scary on the outside...and just a while ago while he are resting on the upper surface he started smiling our of nowhere...you know like smiling and letting out a small laugh?"

Chopper and Nami looked at each other and nodded after knowing his said 'weird' situation.

"Hmm let me guess did you mentioned luffy at him?"

"No we didn't mentioned him"

"Hmmm...base on his actions of him suddenly smiling while alone..."

"And not to mention even laughing alone"

"HE'S DEFINITELY IN LOVE!"

They both said excitedly at the same time which made commotion and attracted the heads of their crew except luffy who was far away and sitting on sunny's head and zoro who still sleeping on the pole bench.

"What's this all about?"

"Did something happened? Who's in love?"

Robin and Brook said as they came to join what gossip they are having right now.

"Well someone is in love and cannot help but think of someone!" Chopper replied to robin and brook with his excited expression.

"Who?"

"The Captain of Heart Pirates"

"Law-san?"

"YES BROOK HIM"

"Uhmm? Nami? Chopper?"

They almost forgot Bepo was in the den den mushi line and went back to him immediately.

"By the way Bepo...can you tell us more?"

"Actually that was the only thing I just saw today..."

"Awee shucks until then if we meet again we want to see this weird actions of him then"

"Sure sure i'll call you if we see you nearby"

After that bepo hung up the line and they went back to their usual things as for brook and robin they stayed to know what's going on and after nami told them are got curious too who is the certain SOMEONE trafalgar law thinking of.

After hours had passed nami was beside franky to see if they can see an island nearby as everyone eat their lunch as usual and robin still on the bench waiting for nami and franky so they could have a meal together.

Not until nami's island haki striked again and found a nearby island and started yelling

"HEY GUYYSSS WE FOUND AN ISLAND!"

after yelling luffy quickly rose to his seat and went outside the kitchen.

"ISLAND WHERE?"

"In a moment luffy be patient and we'll get there"

Franky placed thousand sunny to a hideous place and then zoro placed the anchor down and nami, robin and franky went to eat their lunch sanji prepared at the others went to check the island and Ussop holding Zoro incase he suddenly get lost in the said island.

While eating lunch their den den mushi suddenly rang...

'oho? So they are near us then?' Nami thought as she ate the kast portion of her food.

"Hello? Nami speaking"

"Hello? We kinda see your boat in an island"

"Mhm we decided to take a look on this island first and maybe take a camping here for a while and will sail out tomorrow!"

"Ohh perfect captain decided to take a look on the island too!"

"Perfect...so after you land maybe we can plan to reveal his certain someone then?"

"Yes yes lets do it I was about to say it to you and even shachi and penguin are into it too!"

"Okay then see you here then!"

After that they both hang up their den den mushi's and later on polar tang can be seen in a distance as Chopper waved at Bepo.

After they parked polar tang beside sunny Law went down and was battling his emotions inside the moment he saw luffy..

It's like he wanted to hug him.

Kiss him.

Tell him he missed him very much.

But he needs to keep his cool so he just said his legendary nickname for luffy.

"Oi..Mugiwara-ya"

"Oho? Torao you're here too! And also your crew!"

Nami quickly went outside and saw bepo, shachi and penguin and greeted them.

"Well that was fast..."

"So this plan of ours how will we do it?"

"Hmm well we have to bait our capta–"

"Wait everyone I think we don't need a plan anymore.."

"Huh? Why?"

"Look...Captain is smiling brightly again...AND NOW BLUSHING TOO?"

After Shachi mentioned him blushing they all went to look at where law is and caught him staring at luffy endearingly, he has this little blush with a straight face as luffy talks about sanji not giving him snacks and meat earlier as law smiles and went to tease him further as he smirked and when gets to see luffy's reaction and kept teasing him.

"Well well...I never knew our Captains are THIS close"

Robin said out of nowhere as he smiled at how cute the two looked...

"Robin? Wait do you already know what they have?"

"Well not long ago...I've noticed it before you guys do"

"EHHH? HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL WHEN WE ARE ON THE CALL"

"Well you never asked if I knew or not"

"Fair enough"

After that went went back looking at the two and as for Law he was shamelessly just stares at luffy with his usual serious stares and sometimes trolls him and will smirk if he ever get the reaction he wants from him.

They all sighed as they watch the two being oblivious as hell and said one thing on their heads.

'How come we didn't noticed this sooner?'

After another hours of just wandering through the forest well the others went to wander as the two captains stayed behind on the tents as the others went to see sightseeing, collecting food, and may more.

And here they are spending each others time with each other while luffy eats another meat Law offered to give him.

"All I wanted was just meat to eat because my stomach was growling..."

"Then why not steal meat on the kitchen then?"

"I can't...he has those painful traps on the floor..."

Law scoffed after hearing sanji placing mouse straps inside his kitchen for luffy and not for the mouse.

"Those traps hurt more than big mom's attacks"

"Ergh...what a corny joke"

"What? Its true after all she only rely on her so called slaves"

"Well she actualy punched me a lot while in a fight with her"

"I'm glad you're not eaten by her at the end of the match"

Law just hit luffy with a 'are you fucking serious right now?' look and luffy just laughed at him.

"I'm just joking torao...besides I know you'll beat her off with your own"

Luffy was smiling at him proudly showcasing his brightening smile and of course cute demeanor.

Law just sighed and let out a small smile and patted his head and wipe off the meat on his cheeks as luffy was confused.

"You have a meat on your cheek stupid so I wiped it off for you"

"Oh? Thank you"

"No problem"

After that luffy continued eating as law guided luffy to sit on his lap and place his chin on his shoulder as the boy happily finish off his meat and drinks his water after.

"I've missed you mugiwara-ya can't help but worry over you"

"Finally saying it now huh"

"Huh? What do you mea–"

Law was cutted off when luffy gave him a peck on his lips and was caught off guard.

"I've missed you too torao"

Luffy turned around and was now facing Law as he left another kiss on his forehead, his left cheek, his right cheek, and lastly his lips once again.

"How come you miss me too? You meet people everyday and not miss them why miss me?"

"Well torao is special...Whenever I see you my heart pumps faster like a horse and I can't help but think of you too..."

Law was literally in Shock upon Luffy telling him this newly information.

"You....*sigh* how can you say it easily like that...its unfair"

"Shishishi love you too toraoo~"

Luffy began cuddling with Law as they both enjoy each others presence.

Little did they know from afar there their crewmates are watching them crying as they saw how beautifully their relationship was.

"I wish to have what they have"

"I'M HERE NAMI-SWANNNN"

"Ew..."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN EW YOU MARIMO"

"SHUT UP YOU TWO GO FUCK YOURSELVES ON THE OTHER SIDE LEMME HAVE A MOMENT HERE"

Sometimes Toei gets it right...

I've always complained about how the anime adaptation goes sometimes, putting in certain scenes that would never exist and sometimes damaging the history

But seeing fanboys crying on Twitter because Zoro rejected Hiyori and that Sanji didn't end up with the other woman is making me laugh like hell

Like, this isn't even in the Manga because there Oda has already made it very clear that it's romance-free, but I thought it was so incredible that Toei did this because it's breaking a heart and stepping over it

Furthermore, I liked it because it gave A LOT of ammunition to the Zosan fandom and the Zosan fandom deserves everything in this world, I may not read their stories anymore but I still cherish this shipp

And finally, I'm definitely going to write two short stories about Hiyori and the other girl (sorry, I forgot her name even though she even appears in the manga hahaha) realizing they doesn't have a chance with Zoro and Sanji because guess what, they're already in love (and maybe committed?) to someone else

And I'm sorry to inform you, it's going to be a male reader 😈 because it's my personal fetish to write men rejecting women because they are really gay and very gay for their boyfriends

But don't worry, you can pretend it's a female or Gn reader, after all the male community has been doing this for years 🥰 (swallow your own poison)

Ruthless (Zosan X reader) P11

Plot: Beast off the walking dead series. After the governor attacks your people you head back to help plan an attack back. Luffy's not happy with being left out so ends up following only to end up at the governors town.

Warning: Violence, Making out and bad language.

Reader is a gunslinger of the crew and the younger sibling to Rick. This isn't accurate to the show but it does contain characters and plot lines, deaths have been added that aren't apart of the show. Zoro X Sanji X Reader, poly relationship, Established relationship, Reader is GN.

P1 - P2 - P3 - P4 - P5 - P6 - P7 - P8 - P9 - P10

Metal clashes against metal as Zoro and Michonne fight in the courtyard, a small crowd gathered to watch the last fight between the two in the early morning people cheering for one or the other. "Go Michonne kick his ass" You yell out from your seat on the metal stand earning a growl from the swordsman as he blocks one of Michonne's swings. Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, Robin, you and Sanji are the only crew members watching the fight, meanwhile the others are setting up the Sunny. "You know thats just going to make him mad right love?" Sanji asks placing a arm around you "I know, thats the point... call it payback for being a drunk ass last night" you laugh the cook joining you. Carl runs up the stand stairs and over to you sitting down trying to catch his breath "Did i miss anything?" Carl asks fixing his hat as he watches the fight "Michonne kicked him in the stomach pretty hard" Sanji leans forward to talk to the boy who nods not taking his eyes off the two fighting "Cool, i was worried i missed it" You pull the boy in closer as Rick walks up with Judith in his arms looking very tired "Let me guess someone forced you out of bed?" You ask as your bother sits down next to his son and sighs "I look that bad Hu?" he asks as his eyes threaten to close, with a sigh you lean over and takes Judith off him, he didn't put up a fight which was good but it also showed how tired he was.

You hold the little girl in your arms with a smile, it's the first time you've held her since you got hurt and you can tell she's put on some weight which is good. Luffy cheers when Zoro gets a good hit in with the back of his swords sending Michonne tumbling back but managing to get back on her feet quick enough to block his nest attack. You can feel Sanji tense next to you before grabbing a cigarette and placing it in his mouth, he doesn't light it though, not wanting to smoke around you still plus now there's a baby in your arms. You lean up and kiss his cheek "Michonne will be fine" You whisper as he leans into you "I hate seeing a beautiful woman get hurt" The cook mumbles laying his head on your shoulder "I know love, but he won't cut her, he's only using the back of his sword. Plus, i've seen her take worse" Sanji lets out a small laugh at your words before looking down at the baby in your arms who's awake and looking back at him. The cook lightly strokes her hair as her hand comes up to try and grab his fingers which he gladly lets her do "Yea go Michonne" Carl yells out next to you standing up with his fist in the air making you and Sanji look away form the baby and to the fight.

Michonne managed to kick Zoro's legs out form under him and make him roll back as she swipes at him, she keeps going at him and gets out of a block by kicking him in the stomach again but this time he doesn't step back and grabs her leg throwing her to the side "Oh" Carl stops cheering as Michonne hits the wall but tried to get back up, Zoro thrusts the tip of his sword to her neck with a grin. The tip doesn't touch her skin but if she moved in any way he could kill her "Give up?" The swordsman asks a cocky grin on his face as Michonne looks up at him with a glare, she takes a minute to think before sighing raising she has no place to go and with her sword out of her reach she gulps "You win" Zoro puts his swords away and offers his hand to her helping her up "Yea go Zoro" Luffy cheers along with Chopper and Usopp as Robin laughs next to them. "That was so cool, well done Michonne" Carl yells out as the crowd starts to dissipate. Sanji helps you up and walks with you and the others down to see Zoro and Michonne "You did so well my lady" Sanji smiles placing a hand on the woman's shoulder while Luffy jumps at Zoro and hugs him along with Chopper. In surprise the swordsman steps back but lets them hug him until their done "Thank you Zoro" Michonne smiles bowing a little before turning to Carl who hugs her waist "Are you ok?" The boy asks earning a simple nod from the woman "It was a good fight, you've improved but you still can't beat me" Zoro laughs a little walking over to you and Sanji placing his arms around the two of you.

You tense a little as he holds you both form behind and placing his chin on your shoulder "I heard what you said... your lucky you have a baby in your arms" He growls in your ear making you gulp "Yea i am lucky" You giggle looking up at him "but as for you" Zoro turns to look at Sanji who also gulps "Now Zo you know i like to cheer for the girls" The cook puts his hands up in deference only for the swordsman to let go of you and lift the cook over his shoulder "No please Zo i'm sorry" Sanji yells out as Zoro carry's him off "I think its time you learned a lesson cook" You sigh at the two as Michonne walks over "Is he going to be ok?" She asks looking a little worried "He'll be fine but i better go stop him" You sigh handing Judith off to the woman "Oh and i hate to ask but could you look after him" You point up to the stands where Rick is fast sleep "Yea i got it" Michonne laughs as you wave bye to her and run off after your two boys. "NO-NO" Sanji yells out as you get closer soon seeing Zoro lifting the man over his head above a big water trough, it's been collecting rain water and must be freezing "Moss head don't you dare" The cook calls out struggling to get out of the swordsman's grip as the man chuckles "Zoro" you cross your arms over your chest as they both turn to you.

Seeing the baby no longer in your arms Zoro looks you over and you realize your next if you don't do something "Let us make it up to you… I'm sure there's something we can do to make up for our mistake" You look down rubbing your arm knowing too well the sad look makes him think twice about his actions. Sanji knows what your doing, so he stops struggling and looks down at Zoro "I'm sorry Zo, let me make it up to you" Sanji givings the swordsman a sad look making the mans eye twitch before setting the cook down on the ground "I hate you two but… there is something i want" the swordsman smiles pulling the cook in by his waist and beckoning you over with his finger, you keep up the act and walk over slowly before being grabs by the waist and pulled into him "What can we do for you?" Sanji asks running a hand up the mans back "Say my name… my full name" Zoro smiles leaning forward placing his forehead against yours "You first" his demanding voice makes you smile as you run your head to the back of his head "Roronoa Zoro" you say only for his hand to moved to the back of your neck "Louder" He glares making your heart pound "R-Roronoa Zoro" You didn't mean to stutter but it seems to make him smile wider and a glint appears in his eye "Say it baby" his grip tightens as his lips brush over yours causing your breath to hitch in your throat but you manage to compose yourself and say loud and clear "Roronoa Zoro" His lips crash onto yours as soon as your finished and his tongue forces its self into your mouth making you jump slightly. he roams your mouth a little before pulling away leaving you a blushing and panting mess "Good" He smiles as you let go of him, so he can turn to Sanji.

Sanji's cheeks are red though he tried to hide it by looking down slightly, his hair covering his face. Zoro takes the unlit cigarette out of the cooks mouth and chucks it aside before grabbing Sanji's chin and lifting his head up "Now it's your turn, be a good boy" Zoro pushes the blonde's hair out of his face and placing their foreheads together while keeping a tight grip on the cooks waist and chin "Roronoa Zoro" Even though the cook speaks loud and clear its not enough for Zoro to tighten his grip a bit more "Look me in the eye, say it like it's the only name you know" The swordsman growls watching the cooks eyes stare into his "Roronoa Zoro" Zoro moans a little at the words and closes his eye "One more time" the swordsman whispers leaning closer to the cooks lips, so he can feel them move when he talks "Roronoa Zoro" It was shaky but good enough as Zoro crashes his lips onto the cook and shoves his tongue in sloppily kissing the blonde making him moan slightly before pulling away "That's better" The swordsman pulls away looking at you both still blushing at what just happened "I have the best partners" Zoro laughs pulling you both in for a hug which you gladly except even if it was just an excuse to hide your face in his chest "From now on who are you going to cheer for?" The swordsman asks looking down at the two of you trying to hide your faces "You" you both mumble only to hear the swordsman laugh "who?" Zoro asks getting cocky at having you two submit to him "Roronoa Zoro" You and Sanji say louder even though its still muffled by Zoro's chest "Much better" The swordsman laughs kissing both your heads.

With everything packed and the ship ready to set sail you hugged your brother "I'm actually going to miss you" you tease holding him a little tighter "I gonna miss you too. Make sure you write this time ok?" Rick sighs letting you pull away "I will and if i don't i will accept scolding" you laugh a little before Carl hugs your side "Do you have to go?" The young boy asks as you bed down to him and fixing his hat for him "Yea but i'm sure I'll see you again some day" You kiss his forehead and give him a hug before turning to Beth who's holding Judith "I expect you to grow up big and strong like your dad, don't take shit form anyone" you kiss the baby on the head before Rick takes her so you can hug Beth "I'm gonna miss you" The blonde girl smiles trying not to cry as she holds you tight "I'm gonna miss you too but i want you to keep practicing ok? You'll make it big some day with a voice like that" You kiss her head before pulling away "I expect front row tickets" you wink at the young girl making her laugh a little. You turn to Andrea and hug her as she hugs back a little harder "Don't get into anymore trouble" you comment making her playful smack you on the arm "I should be saying that to you and your friends" she snaps back but with a small smile "Yea but you know thats not going to happen" you laugh rubbing your arm that she hit. "Thank you again Andrea" you try not to cry as you give her one last hug and walk onto the Sunny.

With the sunny setting off You wave to your family with Luffy and Chopper next to you waving along "Thanks for all the food" Luffy yells out making you laugh. It's hard to leave them but you love the sea, you miss the adventures and bonds you have with your crew mates. Once there out of view Chopper and Luffy head off to watch the sunny blow a hole in the metal wall surrounding the island. Zoro walks up behind you and warps his arms around you placing his head on your shoulder "You ok baby?" He asks after the cannon has blasted through the metal wall leaving another whole for the marines to deal with. "Yea i'm ok. Glad to be back at sea" You smile grabbing one of his hands and holding it as the sunny goes through the whole in the wall and out into the open ocean, there are no marines in sight, but they must still be dealing with the whole and sunken marine ship that the crew left behind when they first came here. "Lets go" Luffy yells out from the Lions head he's sitting on, "You guys might want to hold on" Sanji laughs walking over and holding onto the railing your leaning against. You then realize what's about to happen and wrap your arms round the rails as Zoro grabs onto it with one arm "Everyone Ready?" Franky yells before pushing the Button and getting the back engine to glow and build up power "Coup de Burst" Frankly yells out as the Sunny launches its self out of the water and into the air heading off to their next island.

i loved the zosan comic, it was wonderful. what kind of music do you envision for the dance between them ?

Thank you for the sweet comment and interesting question!

I have to admit I did think about this and I decided that it isn't really identifiable. It's not a real song - it's sort of making itself up as it goes along. It's definitely something light and classical, maybe only a couple of instruments, if that. No words. I think it's quite random and you couldn't say it has a 'tune' but there's still something appealing to it. I think the notes would be very soothing, somewhere between a chime and a harp. It would shift as it went on and you wouldn't really be able to predict what it was going to do next, except for the tempo, which would be consistent enough to allow you to waltz. A bit like musicians who take a recording of an animal hitting random keys and accompany it into a real song; it's intentional but unpredictable at the same time. I think 40Sanji is just going with the flow and leading 19Zoro into whatever mood the song is changing to, while 19Sanji and 40Zoro are focusing on the consistent rhythm.

I guess the best way to imagine it would be "when you're dreaming, and you know in your dream that there's music playing, and it's nice music, it gets you in the mood to dance, but it's not any song you can identify, and you won't be able to remember what it sounds like when you wake".

I hate dudebro OP fans

I shudder saying this, but sometimes I visit the one piece subreddit *groans* I know. But sometimes really good cosplayers and theories pop up there! But I'm not here to talk about the good, unfortunately. I see it on reddit, on tiktok, on Instagram, and even Facebook. Cishet male one piece fans. Who take everything so fucking seriously, who think every character is straight, who criticize the manga to hell and back for all the wrong reasons. SPOILERS FOR MOST RECENT CHAPTER START HERE, THEY WILL BE BETWEEN TWO CAUTION EMOTES

⚠️ I saw one today that said that luffy using gear 5 on Lucci was stupid and that it made his fight with kaido look pointless and made kaido look weak because "obviously Lucci is weaker than kaido so why would Luffy have to use gear 5?" MF the boy isn't logical, he's not using gear 5 because he thinks he can't beat Lucci without it. He's using it because A) it's a new form he likes it, he wants to show off his new powers because Lucci is doing the SAME DAMN THING and B) he wants to show Lucci he's not messing around and that he recognizes how strong Lucci is. It's to show that he was a formidable foe ⚠️

So there's that bullshit lmfao. And then you have the people who insit Zoro will end up with Hiyori, those who ship Luffy and Hancock (no shade I guess but wtf), think of Sanji at surface level face value shit and see him as uber straight, completely ignoring kamabaka kingdom and his very obvious struggle with gender and sexuality. Dudebro OP fans love to point out shit and then ignore things that contradict their points entirely. They love to ignore the queer characters in OP. They love to ignore that Kiku and Yamato are trans. They love to ignore that Luffy has not once ever shown interest in a woman INCLUDING Hancock, but has blushed around zoro. They love to ignore Zosan's dynamic. Zolu's dynamic. Vivi and Nami's dynamic. They straight up refuse to acknowledge that Bon Clay is queer. They borderline suck the fun out of the anime. I can't imagine like genuinely rating all the arcs, overly criticizing them and calling some of them straight up bad. And maybe that's just because One Piece is my special interest, but holy fuck man how can you genuinely hate any arc. There are so many fans out there that just hate Wano and Skypiea and it's so CONFUSING bro. Idk I'm literally just talking out of my ass and going on my autistic little rant but damn!! Try enjoying the show !!! Try analyzing the characters beyond their fights. Try acknowledging some of your faves are queer. Oh and God help anyone that try to label any of the characters as neurodivergent. "Luffy is just an idiot" no you're a fucking idiot. He's obviously autistic.

Sanji normally ignores whenever Zoro is doing something stupid, unless it's so ridiculously stupid that he has to go over and stop him from doing whatever that thing is.

As he's walking through town, he catches a glimpse out of the corner of his eye of someone surrounded by about ten people. Of course he thinks whoever's surrounded is an idiot for getting the group all fired up. Scoffing softly he mumbles, "What an idiot..." under his breathe before he starts to walk away once again. However, something makes him stop to take a second glance. With that second glance, he realizes it's Zoro.

"Oh no... that's my idiot..." He says in annoyance before he hurries over and helps Zoro knock the hell out of the group surrounding him, despite knowing the swordsman doesn't need any help. Once the group is defeated, Sanji looks at Zoro and demands to know what happened, to which Zoro simply shrugs.

"Guess I either took their sake or simply ran into them. Either way, it's over with now." He says it so calmly too, only to get kicked in the side by Sanji before the blond goes storming off, mumbling something about how much of an idiot Zoro is for getting himself into such a situation.

While minding his own business like he normally does whenever they dock onto a new island, Marco lets out a bit of a sigh while leaning on one of the rails of the Moby Dick. It was just him and a few other crew members, along with Whitebeard, who was resting in his room. So far, their trip had been rather easy, nothing seeming too out of the ordinary. However, that all chances when the blond catches a glimpse of something running toward their ship. From the looks of it, it was someone getting chased by the Marines. Thinking nothing of it, he mumbles something about how the person being chased is an idiot. Though as they got closer, Marco squints his eyes slightly, only to catch a glimpse of a very familiar looking hat.

"Oh no...that's my idiot... Ace!" He shouts out as the raven finally comes into view. Sure enough, he was smiling and laughing without a care in the world. Seeing such a sight only made Marco sigh softly before he shakes his head a bit as he watches Ace turn and lead the Marines in a different direction. He knew the other would be fine...but that didn't make him any less of an idiot.

"Just make sure you come back..." the blond mumbles under his breath as a smile forms on his face. Sure enough, he soon sees those familiar flames bursting from the raven's hand, sending the Marines flying a good distance way. Once he's free from them, Ace turns and looks directly at Marco with that same carefree smile on his face.

"He's such an idiot..." Marco mumbles while staring lovingly at Ace's smile. As annoying as he was, Marco knew he could never get tired of seeing that expression on the raven's face.

KidLaw:

Kid and Law had somehow ended up on the same island together and instead of fighting like they normally would, the two of them and their crew ended up sitting down together and enjoying each other's company. They shared food, stories of their adventure and several other things up until Kid got up to go hunt down some more food for their two groups.

After being gone for a little too long, Law had started to wonder where Kid had run off to so he decides to go looking for him in the nearby forest. As he's walking through the trees, he hears the sound of growling and yelling in the distance, almost as if it were a person and an animal fighting over food. "Surely someone isn't foolish enough to do that..." Law spoke to himself as he decided to follow the sound of the commotion.

After a few more minutes, he came to a small clearing and what he saw made him facepalm almost instantly. "Oh god...that's my idiot..." he says as his eyes landed on Kid fighting with some wild beast over food. Of course Law should have known better than that.

"Kid! Come on, stop being stupid!" Law calls out as he hurries over to quickly take down the animal Kid was fighting with. The fight was over in seconds and now they had both animals to drag back to their ships. However, before anything else, the shorter raven lifts his fist and knocks the red head on the back of the head rather harshly.

"Oi! What the hell, Law!?" Kid growls out while rubbing the spot that had been hit. "What was that for!?"

"That." Law spoke in a rather stern tone. "Was for being an idiot."

Hearing that, Kid sighs softly and holds his hands up in defense before letting out a bit of a laugh. It really had been dumb to fight with an animal over food, but that other animal had started it, and as much as the red head tried to protest that, his words fell upon deaf ears as the two of them made their way back to the ships.

"I don't want to hear it. You're still an idiot." Law says as he glances over his shoulder and smirks toward the taller male. "But luckily...You're my idiot."

with twitter self imploding i thinking about shifting back here so i am cautiously starting with Some Thoughts on film red under the cut

yes!! i love the confirmation that usopp is the crew's stylist and makes their clothes. actually, i think oda might have mentioned something about usopp making t-shirts but i've also been re-reading saint young men so my wires are getting crossed, probably.

audience surrogate jinbe is great and helpful ngl. he's the only one asking the right questions and i love him for it. also?? they did just a fantastic job seamlessly adding him to the crew here. he had so many cool scenes i am so happy for him. 😭

i wanna say the most out of focus character in the movie was,,, zoro? he was. there. like he did a lot of cool things, but he didn't do a whole lot. which is fine bc i think characters like brook and usopp have been out of focus in the manga so giving them some time to shine isn't a bad thing. i honestly think the only thing zoro got out of the movie was free booze, he's happy. i'm happy.

we'll get to sanji. also zosan so do not fret i will be on brand for this.

im a dumbass who paid $25 US dollary doos for dolby digital (imax though, makes me nauseous) but holy fucking hell that was worth it, the music combined with the visuals looked so fucking Good on screen, i can't really imagine watching it on my laptop screen or even a tv. this is definitely the reason why we need theaters yet ngl.

uta gaslights the entire movie and we love her for it. i love oda's "were gonna make cute, morally ambiguous girlbosses" era

"oh no not another movie about a new character from a main character's childhood who we never met until now" actually i felt like uta's addition to the movie was a lot less contrived than sabo surviving a ship explosion, and tbf luffy is not really one to talk about his past all that much so it works for me.

most of the side characters were well intergrated into the movie with the exception of kalifa, i wish she'd done more but i guess there were already a lot of characters to organize.

im so happy they were like "brulee has such a fantastic devil fruit power we're gonna add her in here and also katakuri, sure, the people LOVE katakuri i love brulee she's so funny and my favorite charlotte sibling WEEPS

ok now we'll talk about the Boy.

sanji was a good boy

i love when sanji keeps his shit together, smooth operator sanji is such a Mood.

YES i did cry at him flirting with brulee omg that was such an adorable scene, i wish he was more flirty with older ladies like that. it feels so on brand for him to do that.

ok back in may i made a joke about sanji and zoro taking edibles in context of this movie and i didn't think there would be drugs in the film because of japan's views on illicit substances. and then uta slips sanji a shroom and i'm fuckin losing my shit. apollo pegging me with the dodgeball here.

music, violence, drugs, Woodstock 99 the anime. Anyway

i'll finish off this ramble with Zosan of course.

the pandering was so explicit i cannot believe toei made them sleep next to each other like a chaste 1950s couple with separate beds.

ok i said zoro did nothing earlier. 90 per cent of zoro's lines in the film were just him flirting with sanji and 45% of sanji's lines was him reciprocating. toei knows exactly what they are doing and its killing me.

the shoulder scene? fucking Shameless zoro. whore behavior.

imagine being anime only and watching zoro knock out a bunch of dudes with out even looking at them and sanji's leg turning into blue fire for 5 seconds. have fun wondering what that's all about.

and that 5 seconds where luffy does gear 5?? knocked my fuckin socks off

final thoughts: if i had the time i'd go watch it in theaters again. this movie?? this movie was made for me!! im sure there are a lot of flaws but personally it worked for what it was lol. 10/10.

Ahh I'm so sorry my memory is horrible and I'm bad at remembering to bookmark fics I like 🤧, but I can give you a few I've read recently that I've really enjoyed:

More than a portion of the night: Zosan Medieval AU that I read just recently that was very cute. I liked the characterizations a lot in the medieval context, I'm not usually a big person on aus but it still felt like the characters to me. Full of really memorable moments and one I'll definitely come back to read again.

Joy: You should read everything by @thequeenofsarcaasm imo but this was a short and sweet one that I really loved. It's Gojo's pov on Geto growing up as a trans teenager over the years and I really liked how Queen both captured the challenges that gender dysphoria can bring but also the outsider perspective with Gojo was really great, where Gojo can't help with everything but he is by Geto's side the entire way, it was very good highly recommend.

Because It's You: Another Zosan one and this one isn't finished yet, but it goes through various points in the series (I think so far it's been Arlong Park, post-Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, and Punk Hazard) and shows their relationship developing over time. Love the moments they've picked out to explore between the two of them, great writing, and they make art of the scenes that they write as well, it's very good.

(This is all I've read recently </3 but I do love all of them!)

As for my username, I only came up with it a few months ago lmao. Was trying to find something more aligned with JJK or One Piece (more so JJK at the the time though). I went to the lyrics of ao no sumika, the third opening for JJK, and the chorus is 今でも青が棲んでいる, 今でも青は澄んでいる (The blue still lives there, the blue is clear). Originally tried for "ourclearblue" but it was taken, so came up with "theclearblue". It kinda worked out because I associate this username with both JJK and OP now, JJK because of the song and the "blue spring" while also the blue of One Piece's ocean as well, I guess more specifically the All Blue too.

yes! screaming about the Found Family stuff in One Piece! the Strawhats are found family but absolutely not a found NUCLEAR family. they're not parents and siblings! they are a secret third thing!

and like I guess I get some people ascribing them parental/sibling roles because when I first got into One Piece and saw fans saying they were Found Family, I assumed Luffy maybe thought of Zoro/Sanji/Usopp/Franky/etc as brothers. and maybe people can interpret them that way if they want to but I can't see them that way anymore at all because Luffy ALREADY has Found Family that are his brothers in Ace and Sabo. and I feel like Luffy has a VERY different relationship with those two than he has with the Strawhat crew. I just can't see Luffy thinking of his crew as his brothers/siblings when he's already got two people that he chose to be brothers with but hasn't made any mention of the crew being his "brothers"

(I think he called Momonosuke "little brother" once in Wano but I don't remember and I feel like that's also different idk)

It's like when you ship something like zosan because you think well MAYBE there could be something, and while it's not likely to be canon or anything, you can still interpret it as something else, right? When you do that, you sometimes get hit with some guys going "THEY'RE BROTHERS" ..like.

Even IF you don't ship Zoro and Sanji in any romantic sense, isn't just labelling them 'brothers' a bit shallow? Doesn't their relationship and connection in each other feel so much MORE than just the 'brother' label? Connections and relationships between men can be so much deeper than just 'brothers', slapping that onto two characters like Zoro and Sanji feels like it truly does not encompass how grand their connection is. Sometimes they act like brothers, but they're also friends, crewmates, rivals, partners, the wings. They fight for each other, they'd die for each other, they look out for each other - one day they're at each other's throat and the next they're moving in complete unison on the battlefield.

Does 'brother' really sum them up? Is that really all they are? Must you restrict them with such a label where you REFUSE to see anything MORE with them? Putting them in a box with the term 'brothers' even though they're so much more than that?

And of course, the same can be said for any of the Strawhats. They're 'nakama' for a reason, and the fact there's no English equivalent word for that is an irony in itself. They're not quite crewmates, they're not quite family, they're something so much more than that. They're nakama! Slapping nuclear family labels on such a thing and between such connections just never sits right with me.
