ALSO can we talk about Hetty’s reaction after Flower tells her “You’re a good friend”???
Think about where she was at this point last year—having also just revealed a massive secret, one that almost irrevocably ruined one of her oldest friendships. She’d admitted in Ghost Court that friends were not something she’d ever had in life—something she hasalso just reiterated moments ago to Sam and Isaac, that one of the reasons she felt so trapped and alone and without options at the end of her life was because she had no friends.
Think about how far we’ve seen her come; in season one, it’s huge growth for her that after Jay’s possession, she admits to the other ghosts that she missed them. Or season two, how in a very un-Hetty move she’s willing to swallow her pride and apologize to Nigel (even though she’s sure she isn’t in the wrong!) for the sake of saving her friendship with Isaac. Or even earlier this season, how closely she’s clinging to Alberta in so many of the episodes, because she’s so grateful she got her friend back after being so close to losing her that she doesn’t even want to be physically separated from her.
And then now, she’s just once again revealed a secret she’s kept for well over a hundred years, in order to save Flower. She’s kept this part of herself from everyone for so long, and the very second she sees that Flower is securely out of the hole, she turns her back to everyone to gather herself and then bolts.
Isaac and Sam make her see that, yes objectively she has people here for her now like she never had in life, but Flower coming in and thanking her is when she actually gets to see and experience the reality of how different her existence is now. “You’re a good friend,” she says, and it might be the first time someone has ever said that to her. And Hetty just looks up at Flower so surprised in that moment, and so heartbreakingly hopeful, because I genuinely think that until right then, she really hadn’t considered it like that before; she just knew that Flower was in trouble and that she had to help her whatever the personal cost, because not saving her wasn’t even an option.
So much of the ghosts’ relationships, especially early on, were transactional, and, especially in Hetty’s case, built around enforcing particular power dynamics: accruing a wealth of back rubs, extorting Pete’s TV time before signing Elias’s contract, or any of the countless occasions she brought up her status as ‘lady of the house’. So the fact that she makes this sacrifice that feels like a loss of power to her is in and of itself big; but Flower acknowledging that, and making sure Hetty herself sees it too, by calling her a good friend—it’s a whole different level of meaningful.
She doesn’t just thank Hetty. She makes sure that she sees what her actions mean to her. And Hetty is so taken aback by it, because Flower saying this to her and meaning it is a gift she was absolutely unprepared for; a “good friend” is not something Hetty has ever known herself to be, up until now. But she very badly wants for it to be true.

flowers - ghostsoap
Soap who loves flowers and has the knowledge of the meaning of each one of them.
Ghost who is madly in love with Soap and doesn't know how to confess.
Soap who, despite appreciating a good and big bouquet of roses, has already been caught saying he thought the idea was a bit cliché.
Ghost who knows how much Soap cares about details despite not looking like it and who wants to feel heard and loved.
Soap that in every mission gives a mini-lesson of some different flower that they find along the way.
Ghost who finally takes courage and makes the least harmonious and beautiful bouquet ever seen in history, but which contains all the flowers with different meanings that symbolize the explosion of feelings that Simon has for Johnny.
Jhonny who feels his eyes fill with tears because Simon was paying attention to him, always. And who chose the flowers with the best meanings.
Red roses in the center representing enduring passion, a single yellow rose within the bunch of red roses, representing their friendship, which was the core of what they began to cultivate for each other and red tulips on the right symbolizing true love, white camellias on the left representing the adoration that Ghost felt;
Dahlias in contact with all the flowers being the lasting bond, white carnations around the entire bouquet that said their love was pure in its entirety.
Simon who, despite his nervousness and desire to escape, manages to express what he feels at the very least.
And Jhonny, who couldn't wait to hear his confession, throws himself at him and kisses him with a touch of love that Simon has never experienced before.
It was time for their love to begin to blossom.

Inktober Day 4 - Flower
"In Buddhism, tiger lilies are symbolic of the virtues of mercy and compassion
The tiger lily also signifies protection against harm. For people who believe in this superstition, growing this plant in and around their homes is a way to ward off bad spells, ghosts, and all kinds of evil."

Today on "Another JeanMarco Soulmate AU absolutely no one asked for" I present to you -
Soulmate AU in which you stop seeing colors when your soulmate dies, the only exception being your soulmate. Now cue to Jean who just found Marco's, his best friend's, body. And you know, there's the shock of finding out Marco's dead. The pain and confusion and guilt. But there's also the revelation, because despite everything he can still see Marco like nothing took place at all- yes, half of his face is missing and his body is straight up lifeless, but Jean can still make out the color of his eye ; see that light shade of brown perfectly, remember all the times he has found himself looking at them while listening to Marco talk. He can still make out the colors of his uniform, see the same shade of black his hair has always had, practically see. Despite being dead, Marco was the only piece of color left in his life.
And there's denial for a moment because there's no way Marco was his soulmate. But that goes away fast, getting replaced by guilt. By the fact that he hasn't been there to save him, that Marco has to die all alone without anyone being there for him.
And that was worse than the simple fact that he could no longer see colors ; because Marco was there when Jean needed him, but he failed to do the same. And not only he lost his best friend that day, but his other half too.

lance telling keith that the team should get matching tattoos just because and keith pointing out that shiro adores his grandmother who abhors tattoos and would never do smth to disappoint her. lance agreeing and bringing up that even tho pidge is always down for mayhem and rebellion, she would never do anything to disappoint her parents. team tattoos are out the window. lance jokes that they should just get matching tattoos. keith (whipped and impulsive) immediately agreeing and them bouncing ideas back and forth. they settle on swords and guns (samurai and sharpshooter. duh.)
lance’s is keith’s bayard sword and luxite sword crossing, representing both his human and galran sides, can be seen as violent/a fight since all keith has done is fight to get where he is and because that’s WHO he is. he’s a fighter.
keith’s is lance’s sniper rifle wrapped in flowers because while keith is the fighter, lance has always been the lover. he wears his heart on his sleeve and loves so strongly. he is a beautiful person, inside and out. a beautiful soul if you will.
