❥ let me just start by saying that when you start dating cloud, you must know what you’re getting into— and by that, i mean that he’s super emotionally constipated and is often frazzled with his memory (depending on which arc we’re in).

❥ i think you’d have more luck with a more receptive response if you met him during cc or somewhat before, for instance— being childhood friends with him like tifa was. i think after the events of cc / during ac is where it gets more difficult to get him to open up.

❥ for love language, in terms of giving, i think cloud performs acts of service to show his love. he absolutely sucks with words but small things he does are his subtle ways of showing you he loves you without being able to say it. like walking you home or making you coffee when he notices that you’ve stayed up the night before.

❥ clouds very observant, so while you were at your desk working on whatever you were doing, he came home a little late to see you slaving away at your desk. he didn’t say much, if anything maybe a, “you’re up?” before he goes to sleep. but that morning he makes sure to wake up extra early to make you some coffee.

❥ or maybe, when you guys are hanging out at seventh heaven or something, he’ll walk you home. his excuse is that it’s not safe in the slums to walk home by yourself.. and while that is true, he just really wants to make sure you’re safe. he’ll act like he’s bothered by your small talk, but will still continue to respond.

❥ another thing i might consider for cloud is gift giving. he’d probably bring you something back from the other sectors if hes on a mission or something.

❥ with receiving love languages, i think it’d take him some time to be open to it but words of affirmation always manages to tint his cheeks a little pink.

❥ he can’t help it?? he’s just like a old pitbull that craves pets every so once in awhile. he’s the dog that’ll lay at your feet with a big sigh as you gentle rub behind his ears, even though he’ll literally walk away five minutes later as if he wasn’t clinging onto you.

❥ due to hectic and erratic schedule of his job, he also cherishes the quality time that you two have while you can. even if this is before he’s a merc, maybe perhaps when he’s still a shinra infantryman, he still revels in the moments you two spend alone. anything could happen, and he’s grateful for every moment he spends with you, especially after the events of cc.

❥ he can be the wisest dude ever and then malfunction right afterwards. this is also stemmed from his interaction with jessie in ffvii remake where he says that survival is a matter of luck and skill, and you can’t rely on luck— to which jessie agrees. then he literally doesn’t know what to say afterwards. it’s like a.. 35/65 chance of these moments. just agree with him or compliment his thoughts and that’ll be enough to shut him up for a few minutes!!!

❥ as for dates!! i read @silverflqmes’s dating headcanons for agzsc (by the way??? amazing??? go follow them rn!1!1!1) and they mentioned how they could see cloud taking you out on his motorcycle to the outskirts and let me tell you I AGREE. cloud is obviously not a people person, so i also think he’d prefer to go to a small clearing or somewhere quiet where only the two of you would be seen. after all the chaos of his job, he likes a little quiet time.

❥ i don’t think cloud would like to have you involved in his work, and if you were, he’d at least spend a lot of time sparring with you or training with you to help teach you defense. he overthinks a lot, so he’s always thought about something happening while he’s away. “you need to be able to protect yourself when i’m not there.” he always says. cloud may not be a very.. responsive— teacher but you’ll definitely learn something nonetheless!!

❥ don’t let cloud’s bluntness fool you!! he may be dry but he does care for you!!! you may not realize it but you could ask for almost anything from him and he’d oblige for free, and we all know cloud, he’s just doin stuff for the pay. oh it’s 250 gil? nah keep it he’ll get it for you dwdw pookie.

Scout is trying so hard to act like he’s enjoying this experience but this boy is scared shitless, like he sees soldier knocking people out in the pit and he wants NO part of it.

Soldier is for sure in the mosh pit, literally no one is able to knock him down or even touch him because he’s taking people out with ease- it’s to the point the pit just keeps getting smaller by the hour- but he’s still having fun and making friends! he’s not there to purely fight, it just kinda happens because that’s just how mosh pits go.

Spy is in some really nice reserved seats that he managed to find, he’s drinking wine with his legs crossed and just watching the show- it’s not exactly his cup of tea but it’s still quite the show!

Sniper is chilling away from the loud noise- he likes rock music, and loud music in general! but he doesn’t like tightly confined spaces with blaring music in his ears- the whole experience can be kind of overwhelming for him so he’s probably chilling with spy so he can still enjoy the show without it being too overstimulating.

Demo is probably gonna drag soldier out of the pit- not out of concern, he knows his buddy is able to defend himself! but he’s fully aware that miss pauling might not be very happy to hear about the amount of people soldier has sent to the hospital in one night.

Medic is wearing earplugs for sure because rock music makes him act up in ways that are not fun for ANYONE. He gets like, violent when he’s excited? as seen on the battlefield when he has this manic smile on his face and he’s just yelling at the top of his lungs while causing imaginable pain to the enemy- that would be him at concerts if you don’t make sure he is accompanied + wearing earplugs.

Heavy is with scout, making sure the tiny bag man doesn’t get scooped up in the crowd- or generally have a panic attack because of how severely overstimulating the whole event is. But not to worry! Heavy still has fun, his way of showing he’s having fun is having a straight, stone cold face and standing perfectly still- he likes rock music, I promise.

Pyro is having the time of their life, he’s making all sorts of friends, showing off his own lighters and is collecting more from people just handing him stuff! he’s also got like, two light sticks that aren’t even related to the band they’re seeing but hey! free stuff!

Engineer is hanging out with pyro! He’s not only helping translate for pyro’s new pals, but he’s also just making sure pyro doesn’t get too overwhelmed with everything going on.. or sets anything on fire, that firebug gets too excited sometimes and just starts lighting stuff up so.. that’s something to be wary of!

valtteri: i think her and val have the kind of relationship that her and lew have but on a smaller scale. she loves him like a brother but compared to lew, lew met her at 14 whilst val met her at 18. lew knew her and was an influence in her life as a kid while val got to be an influence in her early adulthood. she got five years with val, and in those five years she had the best duo of big brothers she could have asked for. they were probably the driving force of her getting out of that relationship that was bad for her. and it’s not like her and val aren’t close anymore, it’s just that with him being at alfa romeo now it’s hard to find time to hangout like they used to. with lew he’s just right there because the two of them work at merc while he doesn’t anymore. (side note: these three have a group chat that they still maintain where they used to coordinate hang outs but nowadays it’s mostly just life updates) (oh and val is the one who got her addicted to coffee through the many cafe lunches they had when he was at merc)

kimi: i touched on this in another ask i sent in but kimi would be the one she would go to when she needed space from all the goings on in the paddock and through the many silent driver’s room hangouts she had with him in the ferrari garage built a very strong relationship between the two of them and she knew she could go to him for anything. one look at her while she opened his door and he was up out of the pace he was occupying and pulling her in to cuddle because he knows she needs to be grounded and calmed down from her surroundings

seb: i think her relationship with seb was very strong at some point, ala lewis, but after michael’s accident she pulled away because he reminds her too much of her uncle michael and how much she misses him. he was very present in her life because if michael was most likely was there he was too, being michael’s mentee and all. she has so many great memories with him. but not having michael around to be present to make more those great memories with him hurts too much, so she stays away until she gets with mick and she rekindles her relationship because seb is so present in mick’s life and it would be almost impossible to stay away from him

now that that's out of the way — valtteri's journey in f1 is something that's kinda super fucking personal to me, but also to him, right, obviously. because he was so fucking intense back when he was in williams, even initially at merc, and a lot of it was because he put so much pressure on himself to succeed. keep in mind he doesn't come from money, either. his parents are working class. it's not a stretch to imagine how much they must've sacrificed for him to be able to be where he is. that is an insane amount of pressure to succeed. on top of that, he was constantly told his body type is holding him back, that he needed to lose more weight, that he needed to be lighter. to the point that he had a motherfucking eating disorder. that he went and got help for, yes, but god, EDs fuck with you so bad. so fucking bad, take it from me. i don't think his eating habits got healthier until the current weight regs were announced. fucking imagine your team telling you that you need to starve yourself and be lighter or your car won't be fast. fucking imagine remembering all the shit your family went through just to get you into this exclusive sport for rich people, so now you HAVE to make it worth it.

on top of this, valtteri joined merc after the whole nico shitshow went down. i don't doubt that's part of why toto only kept him on one-year contracts (despite being his friend, and his manager prior to merc) — because drivers on one-year contracts live in constant fear of their seat being taken away if they put even a toe out of line. on top of that, valtteri, who wanted so bad to win a championship that he believed the one-year contracts and all that was worth it, was competing with lewis hamilton. he says it himself that it took him a long time to admit to himself that he's just not as good as lewis. but god, he TRIED, he tried so FUCKING HARD, man.

the valtteri we see now, the fun goofy guy who's living his best life — it took a lot for him to be able to become this valtteri, okay. i genuinely think he's one of the only drivers on the grid that actually realized how terrible the sport was for his health, and who then decided he wasn't going to let it ruin him. that's why he's letting himself be happy now. it's not because he was being held down and tortured by merc specifically or whatever narrative people fucking love peddling. it's because he's finally happy with who he is and where he is in life and he's letting it show instead of making racing his entire existence.

Put down the pitchforks and torches!!! I know it’s not a cod one but I’ve been on a cyberpunk kick recently so I wanted to make some. I’ll probably have another ghost one tomorrow or the next day, i literally have a journal page where I write ideas for these lol and most are ghost

This might be a bit silly mainly because of the slang that cyberpunk uses i.e choom, preem, nova, and gonk. I will use those in this so prep for a chuckle while you’re aroused lol. You walk in and look around, you spot her, V, she’s sitting at the bar in a tattered plaid crop top, barely covering her chest in any way, some nice, tight black jeans, and some long, what seem to be combat boots, exo jacks, you don’t see many people wear them, but she fucking rocks them. You also notice her tats on her upper arm, shoulders, neck, and even one on her chest, dead center, it’s fucking hot. After you finish gawking you walk up and sit next to her at the bar, stealing a glance at her chest every chance you get.

Reader-“V? I’m the one you talked to on holo”

V-“few days, got a few things to straighten before hand. Guess that makes us chooms till the foreseeable future”

Those are far from cheap, and damn effective to, maybe everything will be good after all. V-“so, when we get there, you stay behind me, follow my moves, everything goes well, we won’t even have to waste our bullets. It’ll be fucking nova if that happens”

You nod, she nods, and keeps driving. After a few minutes of silent, nervous driving, you arrive, a large warehouse, no outside guards, looks like you’re lucky day. V pulls up to a hole in the fence that surrounds the building that presumably she cut. She gets out of the car quietly and you follow suit. You guys walk in and she stops abruptly, you almost bumping into her, not that you’d mind coping a feel (respectfully of course). She presumably scans the area before turning to you.

V-“it’s clear, let’s go”

You follow her to a side door and make your way in, you two make your way to a back room filled with some preem stuff, guns, armor, and even some implants, top shelf shit. V notices your intrigue

V-“you can grab some stuff, not too much though, we’re looking for some specific shit”

You nod and pick up an armored vest that seems to fit with you style, as well as a new pistol. She notices and chuckles before she keeps walking. She gets to a few boxes near the corner of the room.

She opens one of the boxes to reveal more implants, even better shit than what you saw before, experimental stuff.

V-“this is the shit my fixer what’s, some new tech, I don’t even know what it does, but hell is it expensive, grab a box”

You both pick up a box and start to leave, after just a handful of steps you hear an alarm

V-“I don’t know, we tripped an alarm or some bullshit, run!”

You both start to run out of the building, the once barren building now filled with guards, you guys dodge them as best you can but then you come to an impasse, the only hallway out and it’s blocked by militech guards, you two take cover behind some metal crates and they open fire.

V-“fuck! Just fucking perfect”

She sighs and grunts before handing you her box.

V-“take this, and stay down till I say, got it?”

She asks sternly

You say nervously as you stack the boxes and hold them, she gives you a nod and stretches her arms, after a second you see her arms open up, her forearms now open revealing some very shiny, well kept chrome, then the blades pop out from just above her wrists, mantis blades! She backs up a bit to get a running start to jump over the crates you two are hiding behind, when she does she sticks on of the blades into the wall and hangs there for a second, the guards all stare at her in shock till, in the blink of an eye, she pushes off the wall and lands on one of the guards, tearing him to shreds, another guard screams and shoots at her, she block’s every bullets with the blades,putting him down as well. You see another guard behind her that she didn’t notice, he aims at her as she flings her head around, you throw down the boxes and pull out the pistol you grabbed and fire at him, taking his head clean off, as you stand there in shock, staring at your pistol, surprised that off all things, that’s what it did, you get a bullet to the shoulder from the second guard that’s on the ground, V noticed

She screams as she lunges towards him and cuts his head off with the blades, she flings them down to get the blood off them then she retracts them and runs over to you and picks you up.
