i don't even know what to say, every ounce of my being feels personally offended by this WHY would you make it about mahiru. "what kind of explanation is that?" - shinya, and also me

i don't remember a single scene in which he was a third wheel to guren & mahiru. i don't remember them ever competing for her attention, like at all. i would not consider it unfortunate that they're not engaged anymore. and she did not die (even though people say she did). that's like 4 deadly sins in one paragraph what the FUCK

the conversation under it gets a pass though. still don't know if the "what, sister?" is a mistranslation/misinterpretation, and i don't think i want to. shinya passive aggressively calling mahiru "sister" is way too funny for me to acknowledge the possibility of it not being canon.

... and guren and shinya both wanting mahiru to get tf off them cracks me up every time.

It’s been a long while since I’ve drawn Off-Kilter and tbh I kinda missed it, Frames are so fun to draw and for some reason I always forget that fact. But, anyhow, I’ve been churning a slight redesign for OK for a while now, which is- dog-like ears! Haha! I think they’re gonna be massively useful for expressiveness, something I’ve struggled applying to Offy in the past. I’m hoping this’ll add just a touch more cuteness to the murder machine :D

May I request Kaeya, Ayato, and Kaveh's s/o ignoring them for a cute chibi plushie of them instead?

Kaeya and Kaveh are both going to be needy. They're first going to pretend that yes, they aren't bothered at all by their s/o being obsessed with this cute little plush. After all, it's a plush of him. Why wouldn't he be flattered? He loves them, and he loves that they love him so much they adore this plush version of him.

He loves watching you carry the little thing around, laughing to himself whenever you press kisses to both his cheek and the plush's cheek. Sometimes he'll even give the plushie a kiss too just to give you a bit of a laugh.

However, he didn't think that one day he'd be ignored in favour of the plush. He watches blankly as you shower the toy in the attention that rightfully should be his. When you turn to look at him you see the pout on his face, laughing at how it intensifies when your eyes meet.

When it comes time to sleep and you're still ignoring him he continues to pout, managing to squish in between your arms and pushing the plush out of your hands. You teasingly mock him, telling him that he should pick up your boyfriend before you get "angry". He just rolls his eyes and cuddles you up more, burying your face in his chest as you laugh maniacally, finally getting his fix of you after so long.

Ayato is more chill than the other two are. He doesn't mind that you're hanging out with the plushie but he also wants to see how you feel when the favour is returned.

He lets you do as you please, focusing on his work and only his work as he waits for you to "get this out of your system" whatever that means. He doesn't actually mean it, but he likes the way your brows furrow the slightest when he doesn't react to anything you say or do.

You try to push his buttons the slightest bit, flattering the plush with all the attention you normally give him. He barely hears what you're saying, more occupied with the papers in front of him than the little games you're playing.

Every once in a while you hear him chuckle, thinking that he'll finally say something to you but he never does. Instead, he thinks it's more fun to just brush off your jabbing remarks, shaking his head when he catches an adorable frown on your face.

You end up "abandoning" the plush when it comes time to settle for the day, managing to get yourself into his lap with a playfully pathetic look on your face. He finally laughs and kisses your cheek, "forgiving" you for the stunts you pulled.

Maribor recap or long rambling, some pics and trying to make sense in my head:

1. Thank you @chibi-chellist again for reaching out, it meant a lot not to be alone! Rambling about the boys is so much better in person and when it's not one-sided. I enjoyed meeting you and sharing experiences! 💕

2. Kaj pa Ester? is one of the cringiest things I've recently seen, especially dialog wise haha BUT it is also funny and kinda cute. Very teenage-y I guess, with too much lots of kissing and parties for which scenes they used some terrible modern cajke music (like use the good old soul ripping ones that don't mention Elon Musk... teenagers today smh). Anyway, I wouldn't mind it being longer and better developed in the emotional areas which you see they scratched but need deepening to give an actual sense of plot and sense to the movie. Could be due to the fact it was supposed to be a show first tho. However, I couldn't see Bojan's personality, mannerisms or gestures so in that sense I feel he did a great job acting 👏

And THE SCENE. Oh boy. Less sad and more frustrated bojerking. Putting shame aside to admit I would love to have it available on demand, especially for some ragged breathing appreciation...

3. Bought and tried Jan's fav cookies, yaay! They're really soft and don't crumble so I approve and will enjoy. I'm sure sentimental reasons are definitely a big part of why he named them as favorite and when I think about it they really suit him but there are better Slovenian cookies like almost any from Težak bakery in Zreče.

4. Half the venue were teenagers or parents with anything between 4 to 12 year olds. I was surrounded. And since I sat a few rows above the backstage entrance, kids all tried reaching for them as they were going off stage and among all the girls there was an 8 (?) year old boy who reached out and Bojan gave him a high-five... and lemme tell you I very much dislike kids but the way that boy turned and excitedly smiled melted my icy heart.

5. Third concert of theirs, third time on Jan's side. And I think Kris somehow knows & takes revenge by not singing NGVOT whenever I'm in the audience 😔

6. Found it adorable how as ASTP was starting, Nace went to drink some water, took his bottle and clinked it against Jure's 🥂

7. Love that Maks was there again, I like the guy. At some point during the concert he was leaning on the fence above me taking pics and I missed half a song watching him work 🙈

8. As I was behind the loudspeakers, I heard Bojan's singing fine, but talking barely because it was often too distorted. What I did hear was him saying we came there for a workout to burn all the cookie calories from the last few days... and boy are you on the wrong track because I came back home with four different packs of cookies 🍪

9. Band dad Niko's daughter was with him watching the concert from next to the stage and he danced with her and it was adorable. The existence of good dads baffles my poor unloved ass...

10. We all know how in the setlist there's a connection between Padam and Demoni because Bojan even sometimes said "and when we fall they come", but I realised the chain starts with Dopamin. First you get a dopamine rush and feel like flying but soon you experience a crash because your body used up all the good stuff and then comes the falling and the demons (and then you go back to someone so the demons would go away but that someone just plays you again - if I wanna extend it to Katrina). Yes it's kind of a concert - post concert sadness - concert rinse&repeat metaphor

11. Janči had problems with his pedalboard for the first two or three songs, he and Kiki spent minutes fiddling with it trying to get it to work. Poor guy can't catch a break.

12. So yeah, the last point is based on Jan being sick, but it's actually about the main reason I like them so much - the connection, love and care they share.

I realised Jan wasn't okay during the concert so Bojan just confirmed it for me. He obviously still slayed, and he went to play at the front a lot, but there were telling moments.

A) When Bojan came to Jan at one point and rubbed his back in a very non performative way, squeezing at his shoulder and whispering something.

B) When Jan plopped down during Padam I thought "not when he usually goes down, is he okay?" and then Bojan leaned down to stroke his hair.

C) The most telling of all, when he sat down during Umazane misli. I kept looking at him, ignoring the left-front-right karaoke. He looked so tired and off, put his head in his hands and then Kiki gave him a bottle of water. When Nace turned around and noticed him like that, he smiled encouragingly and told him it's okay three times (yep they were close enough to read lips) and that's when I was 100% sure something was wrong and he was either feeling off emotionally or sick. He then got up, went to the front, played his ass off and only when he was walking back was it visable again for a moment how empty his expression was.

D) Jure coming to comfort him and cheer him up as soon as he could lift his ass away from those drums, leading him to the front where in the end Jan turned out to be the one stroking Nace's back in a "yeah it's okay" kinda way

E) As they were leaving for the final time, someone gave Jan a wrapped present he looked actually happy about and he threw back a pick but it fell where the person couldn't reach so Nace took over making sure the person gets it.

That's it. They are all utterly beautiful. And anyone who knows me, knows I use that word to describe people first and foremost on the inside. Beautiful.

Constantly thinks of you. He couldn't even focus on his work sometimes.

When he misses you he would text you riddles.

It's shown in the comic that he listens to podcasts. I think he would listen to podcasts often after work or when he's in the train.

When you're out for a long time, he cuddles your shirt or jacket to sleep.

Has back/chest acne scars. He really doesn't like them

I think he'd be very clean, and by clean I mean he would wash his body twice, doesn't like the thought of being dirty so he makes sure he had cleaned every spot.

Makes random doodles on napkins or notepads.

Definitely has a thing for your thighs and love bites

He goes to surplus stores, it's where you can buy random second hand stuff. He just looks around when he's free or when he feels like it. That's also where he found the Miku figurines.

If you have fluffy hair, he'll play with it when you're cuddling, stroking and petting your head. When you tell him to stop cause it always gets messy and covers your eye, yeah he'll stop for a little while, he keeps coming back to playing with it but quickly stops himself, He'll eventually play with your hair again.

Likes kaomojis, he thinks they're cute and silly.

When he comes home from "cleansing the city" and finds you still awake and waiting for him... He'll start cooing sweet things at you, telling you how much you don't deserve to live in this god forsaken city... ends up with you making out... and then to something else.

You never go out for groceries alone, he always has to be with you, specially when it's dark.

Goes to the local library and buys 15 puzzle books regularly.

He has a small Totoro keychain

Yk how most people dream of writing handwritten love letters for your partners, he's like that but in a more lovesick seial killer insane way

Used to be a part of a debate club and every opponent he gets hates him, he always defeats them anyway.

Has a few candies in his jacket's pocket.

He doesn't usually drink or get drunk, but one time he did and started saying random shit, also said to himself a little too loud how much he always wanted to make you feel good, that he could spend hours fucking you dumb. He wakes up completely forgotten about everything he said.

-Chidori's sketchbook(s) is now filled with Junpei portraits. Some are of just his face, others of his battle gear, and others just chibis of him doing silly stuff.

-Junpei goes full on Romeo on her when buying her stuff. As much as she loves it and appreciates it, he really should not be spending his life savings-

-Chidori often snuck out during the day just to go on dates with him. He took her to a lot of places she had not been to before.

-She also told Jin she was seeing someone, she didn't specify who. Especially because he genuinely seemed surprised and happy for her. (They're siblings, your honour).

-The only person Junpei told the full truth was to Makoto and Kotone. And they were pretty accepting of it.

-Despite not remembering him at first, Chidori always feels warm whenever he visits her. (I put at first because of an au that I am still working on-)

-He becomes a baseball coach and she becomes a well known artist in the future. Their schedules are not very busy, so they have a lot of time for themselves.

-No children. But they did adopt a cute puppy, a shiba inu. Chidori named her Medea.

And I have thoughts. A lot of thoughts.

I don't know what's funnier here, what Yuki's doing to Zero's hair or the fact that he's letting her. And in class (or at least, in public) by the looks of it, given that they're in uniform.

I hate how cute they are in chibi. Grr. >.<

I love their expressions in this. Like, you've walked in on them and they're both annoyed by it.

Ugh, this one is one of my favourites. It's just gorgeous. I like the symbolism, too---Yuki has her long hair and Artemis scythe, so this is after the whole pureblood reveal. The broken chains could represent her breaking the seal on her memories and powers, and of course they're red---so much of her life is soaked in blood, and if I remember correctly, her repressed memories manifested in visions of blood.

This one is interesting to me. Again, Yuki has long hair, meaning that this is post-awakening. She's holding Yuri protectively, almost possessively.

The thing that intrigues me the most is that Yuri seems to be wearing a Cross Academy necklace, like Yuki's. Is this symbolism, or is it just something I've forgotten about?

This illustration has always been one of my favourites. I think it's so funny that Zero and Kaname look like they're about to attack each other, and Yuki is physically holding them apart like, "c'mon guys, can you at least wait until after our picture is taken?"

I feel like it encapsulates their dynamic really well. ^-^

I have so many!!! I definitely can't name every single one but heres a few that have been extremely influential to me!! This took me 2 hours to write i am SO sorry lmao

Puyo Puyo (Specifially Fever, Quest, and Tetris)

CUTESY BRIGHT BRIGHT COLORS!!!!!! Thats everything I love!!!!!! I'm pretty sure I talked about this when I first got into puyo puyo but I for SURE instantly decided that yep Im steering my style in this direction sorryyyyyy!!! I just think its so fun and silly and cute and rahhh it makes me so happy.

Especially for the work I do most often, which is character portraits without backgrounds, I will often look at puyo puyo posing just to get ideas!! (I've drawn Arle's dumbfounded pose 100000000 times becus I love it so much). The puyo puyo anatomy has very noodly arms and legs but with big ass shoes and accessories which is probably my favorite design thing in the world....

I seriously recommend just looking through the Puyo Puyo Nexus wiki for pose ideas (if you want something cute/silly of course) because every single one is just perfect. I am trying to get out of some dumb art habits of my own right now, but hopefully in the future you'll be able to see more goofy poses with sillier effects :3

Muse Dash Again I want you to look at the COLORS. Its so bright and this time you can really tell where I took my shading style from. I dont want my shadows to be dark I want them to be PINK or PURPLE. thank you. For my own art, I really try to make it so the darkest "black" is actually a deep purple or blue, and as I keep making art that dark color keeps getting just a bit lighter haha...

This is also the reason I color my lineart the way I do. I just really want to add as many colors as possible into the image. And if the image looks a bit more pink after that then thats just an extra perk!!

I also need to bring up the animation because they're just so bouncy and alive!!! This is like an instant stunlock for me, I have to look at them, theyre so BOUNCYYY!!!!!! I don't do much animation but every other week I get the sudden urge to try tweening again just to eventually get to the point I can make something similar to these for my own ocs lol

Great Pretender This show has some of the most gorgeous art ive ever seen. All the backgrounds are so bright and colorful. I dont usually draw art with backgrounds anymore sadly, but when I used to I really tried to study these for them. And I hope in the future I can make more art and show how far I've come.

Though I;ve changed to a more chibi style in recent times (thanks puyo puyo), this was still one of the first times I had ever watched a show and said "Oh my god I love this artstyle I need to get better at art" and Its always in my mind for that reason.

Ive definitely stolen lots of elements from the style. Though they've gotten more subtle over the years. I dont really know how to describe it any further but I hope you understand what I mean by looking at these screenshots,,,

hiiii fellow Grimmy lover ! ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝ Ohh that's a good question, I usually keep these things in my head because I'm too shy to post anything but let's see. A lot of my hcs involve my MC personally so I hope that's okay. ☼ MC is female; artist; pet cat named Garrus; lives in Tokyo.

Spoilers below.

Casper's favorite color is black; she teases him that black isn't a color so he just huffs and says red.

Casper listens pretty much exclusively to heavy metal. She introduces him to melodic death metal and it's all he ever plays... except during Christmas time where he plays that one song on repeat, constantly, driving her insane.

He can't hold his alcohol, like, at all. He gets very handsy when drunk.

He's always bringing her new skin care products to try, he refuses to give up until she has a skin care routine that consists of more than "a bar of soap and sometimes sunscreen.. when she remembers."

He brings her a new bouquet of flowers every time the previous one wilts. They are always sunflowers with a mix in of seasonal flowers.

Casper loves cute things, he will never admit to it (he can't lie so), but that cute little axolotl plush sitting on their bed is proof enough.

Speaking of cute things, she introduces him to gachapon. At first he scoffs at it, "How could mortals be so easily assumed by such silly trinkets?" She rolls her eyes at him and puts a few coins into the machine. Out comes a silly little plastic egg, opening it reveals a tiny little clear plastic axolotl wearing a hat. She teases him as she puts it in his hand as they leave. There are 5 other types of axolotl figures in that machine. Later he comes back and blows a shit ton of money trying to win the rest. She has to take his wallet before he spends all his money.

She bought him a cute pair of light pink and red socks with chibi axolotl printed on them one day on her way home from work. He refuses to wear them but more often than not she'll look over as he's taking off his boots and there they are.

They have matching phone charms.

She felt really bad about teasing him about his use of kaomoji so whenever they're apart for long she'll text him ヾ( > ◡ < )ツ.｡*☆ and it usually just escalates from there.

He's very good at house work; cleaning, laundry, etc. Except cooking. He sucks at cooking. His diet of cup noodles is concerning.

He has a sweet tooth.

In any of the endings where he defects from the reaper organization he gets a new job as a programmer. He's completely self taught which he boasts about often.

Casper has hardly ever interacted with animals before, let alone lived with one. So when he moves in he gets to work researching everything to know about cats. He starts to play with Garrus daily, buy him little toys here and there, sneaks him treats. He pouts when she won't let him feed him breakfast/dinner that day.

He can't draw, but that doesn't stop him from leaving little sticky notes with his doodles scribbled on them in her sketchbook when he knows she's taking it to work. She hangs the post it notes on the wall in her cubicle.

Casper reads A LOT. He reads almost every night before bed. Mostly he reads tomes and texts that relate to the underworld or his job, but occasionally a smutty romance novel from the mortal world finds it's way into his hands.

He works out in his room daily.

Okay, I've been summoned to Tumblr by cute Satra and Lei fan art, so I should probably introduce myself and my books. Hello! I'm Vale, and I write creature fantasy as K. Vale Nagle. If you like interesting gryphons, you're in the right place: aquatic diving petrel/fishing cat gryphons, poisonous hooded pitohui/tiger gryphons, pretty gyrfalcon/snow leopard gryphons, intimidating Haast's eagle/saber-toothed tiger gryphons, soggy sandgrouse/sand cat gryphons, and a lot more. My series are epic fantasy using mostly real (though sometimes extinct) animals, free of humans but full of queer characters, intrigue, large battles, and ecological apocalypses. I'm a little slow replying, as I started writing the series right after getting diagnosed with a catastrophic autoimmune system. The treatments are pretty intense, and it's easiest for me to spend my time and energy writing. I used to have a few pen names across several genres, but for the most part, all of my energy goes into finishing up GryphIns. I'm married to dragon author Glenn Birmingham, so if you've seen us posting pictures of our cats and thought it's strange they share a name, they're the same cats. And that's about it. Just a queer author writing gryphony books when I'm not walking my cat. A few common answers to questions: Q: There are sometimes typos in social media, why is that? A: Catastrophic APS means I've had a stroke (and associated memory loss), so when a copy editor isn't coming up behind me, there'll be doubled words and typos from time-to-time. I used to worry about them, since they don't look good if you're an author! But I'd rather reply to fan letters and kind posts. I think if you've read my author notes at the back of my books, you know to expect a few doubled words here and there. Q: When you say a queer author, what do you mean? A: Since people ask about own voices and I have a lot of lgbtqia+ characters in my books, I'm pan, demi, trans, and genderfluid. I'm lucky enough to have a lot of queer friends and first readers who make sure I don't mess up any characters. Q: When's the next GryphIns novel coming out? A: Some years, I spend a lot of my time fighting health insurance battles, and it slows me down. Pridelord (#8) is currently in line edits. It's twice as long as Eyrie and three times as long as Coldbright, so it's a pretty big book! It shouldn't be too much longer. You'll know it's just about time because you'll hear James Scott Spaid talk about narrating the audiobook. Q: How many books will there be in GryphIns? A: I'm famous for underestimating how many books it takes to finish a series. My other pen names all wrote short stories and standalone novels, so my proposal for GryphIns originally had five books. Jeff Brown is wrapping up the cover for Saberbeak (#9) and Nighthaunt (#10). If I end up needing one more book to finish, though, don't be too surprised.

But indigozeal picked these guys up on one of the Japanese auction/2nd hand sites for a reasonable price!

(Which is not helping my resolve in regards to avoiding getting addicted to yahoo-japan again ahahaha... what if I managed to find the Lunar model kits at a good price?? Haha nah, impossible. ...unless.......)

They're so stinkin cute, they make me wish I had Blender and 3d printing skills so I could make the rest of the cast in a similar style ;;~;;

At the very least, I'd like to get them 3d scanned with my Ghaleon punching Puppet head, so other folks could print and paint their own... :3c

I've kinda lost track of who said they could scan for me, tho :o maybe I need to look into 3d scanners myself at this point... :B
