hello there dear ( ◜‿◝ )♡ i hope that you're doing well !! i've never submitted one of these before so i do apologize for doing anything wrong - but i was wondering if i could perhaps request a slasher match-up ?

BASICS &. LOOKS : my name is remy !! i'm 18, demiromantic and use she/he pronouns :) in terms of looks i'm 5'3 with shoulder length curly brown hair (usually worn in a messy bun or braids), blue eyes, and i'm fair skinned with lots of freckles !! i usually wear a bit of make-up because i think it's fun to do :D but i especially wear lots of blush !! i'm more on the lean/skinny side which is something i do get self conscious about sometimes but :") it's something i'm trying to overcome !!

Jason is like everything you need and more I promise. I absolutely get what you were saying about matching another person's energy. I do the same all the time and I think that with Jason, being the gentle giant he is, it would never be a problem interacting with him. Like I said in my jason hc he gets frustrated very easily about his own mistakes ecc and he tends too to bottled up everything so he's really understanding of when you're feeling like this and tries, at the best of his capacities without pushing you, to help you if he notices something is not okay.

He'll be hesitant at first and will try to be the one taking care of you but eventually he'll let go and accept your help and care gladly♡

The "I eventually cry about it later" is so relatable lol. Surprisingly Jason is too very straight to the point when he has to and he will not cry about it later, he will cry about it not even a second after if it's something about you that he has to be blunt with.

Outdoor activities? Yes, to all of them. Jason is the fucking king of outdoor activities. You're going to have the best dates in the woods with him

And when he sees you picking up the trash from the ground? You got him at your feet, babes. That's probably the reason he didn't kill you, because you were actually respectful and a nice person who just wanted to see nature.

Please teach him how to crochet so you both can make matching sweaters for each other

He relates so much with the whole "trust before touch" thing. Taking in consideration what has happened to him he will obviously be very guarded about letting people touch him ecc but once he gets close enough you won't be able to keep him away from you.

He will cry if you give him little pats in the head or medicate his wounds when he comes back home. He loves the feeling of being taken care of and he actually finds endearing how many things you're willing to do for him.

"Thanks for coming with me today! " Tanjiro smiled kindly, motioning to the little outdoor market that you guys had been venturing around for the past hour or so

"Oh, of course! It's really nice here!" You returned the smile, taking a moment to look away from all the stalls, to look back at Tanjiro.

Thankfully, he had asked you earlier in the week to go with him, and by chance, your afternoon was free. And it had been really nice, you even found some things that you were sure that you'd enjoy.

Most of the trip was so that Tanjiro could find food, and some things to help his sister feel better, since lately she was feeling fairly sick, and slept a lot. Which you of course wanted to help with, pointing out little items here and there that you either knew would be good to help, or just ones that you had been hearing good things about.

The weather was nice, not particularly hot, not too many clouds, a good breeze here and there that would shift the hanging items of the stalls. And, as you noticed this, a soft chime came from your right, and you paused, turning to look.

It was a windchime, the tubes clinking together to create a little melody. It was decorated with light blue crystals, ones that caught the sunlight and gave off small rainbows.

You gave it a small smile, and made a mental note to come back later for it, if you had the time.

"Hey, I don't want to lose you in this crowd," Tanjiro was suddenly at your side, and was holding his hand out to you. You paused at the sight, but eventually took his hand, noticing how your hands seemed to fit so well together.

The next stop was a little down the market, where an array of dried flowers and herbs were displayed proudly by the shopkeep. You let your hand slip from his for a moment to pick up a bundle of lavender, then a jar of dried wisteria petals, drawn in by the color that they still held so strongly.

You weren't really sure what you were supposed to use them for, but the idea of giving them to Nezuko just to have won you over, and you found yourself making the purchase.

Slowly, the sun started to set, and the stalls began to close for the night. It had been a pretty successful trip for the two of you, and it had even been fun.

"I hear that they have this every Saturday or so, if you want to come again!" Tanjiro pauses, giving a bashful smile, "and we won't need to only look for things for me,"

"Don't worry about that! I think it's cool that you care for your sister so much! But, I would love to go again! I saw a lot of cute things," You hummed, thinking back on all the things you passed and wanted to get.

"Well, actually, I didn't just get things for myself or Nezuko," he shuffled his bags around until he found the one he was searching for, and produced a small package made of brown paper. He passed it to you, face starting to turn a pinkish color.

You took it carefully, curious to see what it was, and as you started to peel away the paper, the light blue of the crystals from the windchime. Slowly you pulled the whole thing from its paper, a huge smile easily crossing over your face.

"I noticed you stopped to look at it, and it looked like you really wanted it, and i figured i could get something for you since you came with and really helped me, it really means a lot"

And, with the sun now behind you, you returned the words with a smile, "yeah, it means a lot to me too."

STUDY NOTES POST #9: HOW PEOPLE DID, IN TYPING ME AS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER

There was this one post in the Attitudinal Psyche Facebook group, where the person asked an interesting question: " How do you think the folks on Personality Database would type you if you were a fictional character?" There is a person from my dreams (part fictional, part real) who is also my typology twin. We met him earlier, in the "One family, 3 ESFPs" post. He was Arvid, Jr., the one who preferred to be called Arvid because "that was his name ". Funny how we're similar, even down to that. I'm the same way with my name 🤣

Anyway, I found a typing questionnaire online, and posted it several places: in some discord servers I knew had Personality Database type description typists, in the Attitudinal Psyche Facebook group, where I knew theory typists hang, and on Reddit, where I was likely to get both. Here is the questionnaire, and the answers:

I knew I was hard to type, but I didn't realize how hard until nearly everyone failed to type me correctly when I was a fictional character.

So if I had to pick one thing in Arvid's typology/my typology that threw off the typing for most people, it is that we're both social blind 3s. Somebody even confessed that they could clearly understand the whole typology once they knew they were dealing with a social blind 3. It just shows how flawed some 3 descriptions are, if people can't imagine 3s being social blind.

So anyway, now, I'm going to go through the parts of a Personality Database typing that can be gleaned from the questionnaire, and write what people should have seen, and then what they did see

MBTI: ESFP Yes, as we all know from the post I shared earlier, Arvid was an ESFP. However, I don't know how many people typed him as an ISTJ. I have no idea where they got the thinking from, except maybe the correlations, correlating ISTJ to his incorrect Enneagram. My answer to question number 6 is a dead giveaway he was a feeler, and I'm sure the answers to some other questions probably also suggested feeling>thinking. Other answers I got were INTJ and ISFP. How they missed the obvious Se dominance is beyond me

Enneagram: 3w4 sx/sp 3(6?7?)9 While I am clearly 379 in my tritype, Arvid could have also possibly been the 369 tritype instead of 379, as it's not clear whether his head fix is 6 or 7. In my case , my head is clearly 7, which is the one possible difference in our typology (just that one number). Anyway, nearly everyone got the sp/sx right. Two people in the Enneagram group on Reddit got the core right (3), but were newbies, so they didn't try to type anything beyond there. Everything else said about his Enneagram was incorrect. When I pointed out he was a 3 and sx/sp, people's eyes were then opened, and they could totally see 3w4 sx/sp. The top incorrect answer given was 6w5 sx/sp 613. I also had people typing him as a 9 and a 5. I think one person typed him as a 1.

Socionics: SEE (And yes, I've been able to confirm my Socionics is in fact SEE ) There was one person who actually said he was SEE. They got it right. Everybody else was wrong. The most common answer was LSI ( once again, where's the thinking?) Other incorrect answers were ESI, SEI and SLI. I also don't know where everyone got the idea he was introverted

Attitudinal Psyche/Psychosophy: EFVL Only one person got this right. They were the first person who responded in the Attitudinal Psyche group on Reddit. The most common wrong answer was FEVL, but the answer I put for number 8 is a pretty clear indication of 1E. It's also pretty obvious he's 2F with his openness and experimentation in the realm of physics. Other incorrect answers were VFEL, VFLE, LFVE and FELV. I think one person might have even responded FLEV, if I remember correctly

Classic Jungian: ES(F) Only one person took a stab at this one, and got it right. I'm pretty sure they were also the one who said he was SEE in Socionics. Go figure.

So yes, that was a summary of how people typed Arvid based on the questionnaire, and thus how they would likely type me if I were a fictional character

No not too personal! I’m 24. Is that too old for you?😅

Well when I read that the first word that came to mind was ‘brain’. I have no clue why lol. But brain led me to the idea of knowledge which led me to epistemology. And epistemology is the theory of knowledge. I’m not sure if that is the first thing I’d mention usually but here we are. The most basic definition you’ll probably see of it is the question “Why do we know what know?”. I don’t want to really continue because it would end up as a whole essay. (Which is why I tend to talk about these vocally) But I guess to shorten it, I like the idea of understanding knowledge, what makes knowledge knowledge, where is knowledge derived from, etc.

So regarding your question, it seems like the first thing I’d mention would be things about epistemology.

But there are so many things I could talk about.. and I mean SO many. I would not be able to mention one specific thing that fascinates and excites me because truthfully, it all is so fascinating. I would probably go on a huge ramble about epistemology and what empiricism in epistemology is. I also like that a lot of words in philosophy are big words and so I sound extra smart sometimes!

It would also take so long to just talk about one topic. And there are so many different branches in philosophy! Then to go into detail about each one would take hours.

Hi, I wanted to ask you: why is enneagram 6 supposed to be in all the MBTI types? We all know that 1s can't be EPs, 2s and 4s can't be thinkers, 3s can't be IPs or IxFJs, 5s can't be feelers (except INFJ), but 6...6 can be every type. And, how to spot Ni-Se/Se-Ni 6s? Since searching for stability is Si stereotype, and constant asking "what if?" and questioning is Ne stereotype, I feel like those 6s are harder to identify.

Because self-doubt and seeking something to trust outside oneself is a universal possibility regardless of mental process (MBTI type). There are many varieties of 6s but all of them revolve around lack of self-trust leading into doubt of others (if I am not sure, what makes them so sure, and can I trust that they are right or not?), and wanting to find something 'stable' to hold onto in life -- but how they do this will depend on their cognitive functions. An ESTJ 6 will be concerned with creating a stable environment through their hard work, logic, and determination; an INFP 6 might be more concerned with staying in their comfort zone because it feels comfortable; an ESTP 6 might be suspicious of others' motives and quick to act to head off trouble. Being a 6 would also cause an ESP to think before they act, curbing some of their Se-dom impulses without robbing them of their ability to adapt in a sensory way to the situation or learn through hands-on creativity.

Fictional 6s exist in every type (and in real life, too -- even Mr. ENTJ says he works with a lot of ESTJ 6w5s who are in security planning.)

I had an ask awhile back from an INFJ 6 who says she over-prepares for every situation and focuses on having everything she might need if anything goes wrong on a trip, which is an example of 6 and Ni. In one of my Enneagram books (I think it was Sandra Maitri; I have since thinned my collection and given some away), she used an obvious INFJ as an example of a 6 thought process (without knowing it), where the 6 was talking to her friend who had just gotten pregnant. The "6" (NiFe) said she saw a second and a 'third face' come over her friend's face; the first full of misery, and "I knew that she would have a miscarriage," and the third full of beaming happiness, "but that her next child would be born whole; that it would be okay." It was used as an example of 6-ish worst-case-scenario assuming, but was really NiFe+6 intuitive assuming.

Regarding the Se axis, as you can see, there's quite a few fictional ESTP 6s and ESFP 6s study for ideas. :) They will either be phobic (safety first, distrustful/trusting, lots of questions and looking for/making themselves a family) or cp (acting like an 8, but with fear and dependency driving it). An 8 won't surrender to another person's authority, but a cp6 will. (Eg, Lady DeWinter in the BBC's Musketeers being a ruthless psychopath full of aggression, but who does whatever the cardinal tells her, and is obviously scared of him; he is her 'Protector' -- a 6 need.)

I think in fiction, you can have almost every combination, but in real life most of them are rare and/or turn out to be mistypes. A lot of 5 feelers wind up having that as a wing or turn out to be 9s, since the numb-ness of 9 is very similar to the detachment of the 5, but no feeler can truly achieve the level of non-emotional judgment that comes naturally to a thinker 5. I think a lot of mistypes come from people being in the same 'stance' (4/5/9 are all Withdrawn, 1/2/6 are all Dependent or super-ego "I should" types; and 3/7/8 are all Aggressive types.)

Some random info about me:

I’m petite (5’3”). My star sign is Taurus, and my enneagram type is 6w5. I live in a large city and love it. I cannot function without my ADHD meds. I’m an introverted nerd. I absolutely love to travel, but while I wish I were the sort of girl who could go adventuring on a budget via backpacking and sleeping in hostels, etc., I’m not. I need certain creature comforts otherwise my anxiety is through the roof. Camping is my idea of a nightmare. I always need a plan and love making them - I am the girl who walks into a restaurant already knowing what she wants to order cause she studied the menu online beforehand.

There are three things that I think are worth spending good money on: food, shows (I looooove musicals), and the aforementioned traveling. I do not want kids. My favorite Disney princess is Jasmine, but I’m most similar to Belle. I have piles of books in my apartment, half of which I’ve yet to read (but I will!!). All throughout my childhood, my mom and I volunteered for an animal rescue and fostered dogs and cats (I was basically born a crazy cat lady).

I used to sing in choirs as a teenager and really miss it. Other than fanfiction, my other main hobby is cross stitching. I’m an only child and am very close with my family. My personal style is cute-but-comfy; I’m most comfortable in jeans and a cute top, but enjoy getting fancy when the occasion arises.

Telling him about how much you love animals and especially rescue animals is dangerous - your large house is going to be full of foster failures. He will routinely ask you to pick out a shelter so that you both can pay for the adoption fees of every animal in there.

Here’s my info: I’m an INFP muggle born slytherin. My enneagram is counter phobic 6w5 and my moral alignment is chaotic good. I’m about 5’1”. I have dark brown (almost black) layered hair with curtain bangs. I have dark brown almond shaped eyes and tan skin. My pronouns are she/them and I’m bi (although I prefer guys). I'm a bit quiet and introverted but once I trust you enough to open up I tend to be sarcastic and tease. I don’t trust easily, but once I do I’m very loyal. I’m also a very passionate person who feels emotions very deeply. I like doing adventurous stuff and exploring (intellectually and physically) and feel especially connected to nature and space. I love to try and understand things from different perspectives, however I don’t always agree with them. I LOVE music (anything from rock to classical). I like to read, write, and watch movies (fantasy, action, sci-fi, or mystery). Hey, Lisa! I'd like to request a Genshin, Kakegurui, and/or Witch's Heart matchup. I'm an ENTJ 6w5 and despite being a headstrong and blunt person, I do what I need to do for the better of things. I can come off as short or even snappy, even when I don't mean to. It's a bit difficult to tell when I'm in a sour mood and when I'm not. I struggle with anxiety and moderate BPD, which can have a bit of an influx on my already existing temper. Underneath the thorny comments and roughness, I'm talkative and affectionate, often instantly coming to someone's side when they need help. Some hobbies of mine are cooking, sewing/knitting, and reading. I've been told that I'm great with kids and have a dry sense of humor. So, first off, yeah functions play a role in this, it's the judging functions, and having high feeling functions especially for the distress aspect. This is because conflicts usually demand to take position and determine what is "good, right, wrong, accurate, true, logical, coherent, pertinent, ethical, rational" etc. which is judging functions job. And high feelings mean caring more about the "rightness/ethical" impact of what's going on than the logicality/coherency/accuracy/efficiency of what is happening and being told, which means the latter bring more detachment and the former more concerned and disturbance if you have some phobic core and fixes (aka, "I want to avoid shit" types).

2s (2w1 = 2w3) could be distressed by conflict if their image is threatened and reacting (or not reacting) would affect it negatively, but their disintegration kinda push them to be momentary monsters aggressive, assertive and reactive. So they would probably end up jumping in and make a weird STOP FIGHTING I AM MAD NOW >:(( reply, unironically. So, yes 2s could feel this distress since reacting or not reacting could threaten their image of being an helpful person, so standing by while doing nothing could make them feel like they are not being the helpful person they should, especially soc 2 in that case.

5s (5w6 > 5w4) could also be distressed, because 5s seek certainty through knowing and mastering (/controlling), and will thus seek to know what is accurate within a conflict. But conflict means opposite sides, different opinions and values. Therefore, it means a mix of right and wrong, of accuracies and inaccuracies, of irreconcilable and conciable views. They could get insecure only by pondering the arguments and not knowing what would be accurate or true, or whatever they feel they "should" be able to know. If it involves their IVs bond, the distress would get bigger because they might believe they have to intervene (to control) and they don't because of that uncertainty. However, usually they'll detach to cut off the distress and pretend it doesn't affect them, in fact to not be confronted to their uncertainty and lack of actual knowledge and expertise on what's happening. Or they'll over rationalize what happened and not see the point of it anymore, which helps them justify their non involvement, and so avoid their core fear. So, they are less likely to sense, feel or be bothered for long by conflicts, especially if not theirs, and thus less likely to be as you described. Still, a 5 could be distressed by witnessing a conflict in chat depending of the MBTI type (High F), IVs (Soc) and other fixes (other phobic type).

Phobic 6s (6w5 = 6w7) are the second type most likely to feel this much distressed in those circumstances. More so if Soc (dom>aux), again, because they seek security through those bonds and conflict could actually break those relations. Doubts would harass them about what to do or not to do, what to think about this, and what should be done, and they might end up reacting by either disappearing into the void or by jumping in and just. Panick attack, but like in "I'll word-punch until it ceases". In the end, it will cause them lot of uncertainty, and 6s dont handle that feeling very well.

7s (7w6 > 7w8) are similar to 5s, they sure hate conflicts too, more so if it involves any of their IVs bonds, but not just because of those bonds, since the simple presence of the conflict could make them feel trapped. They'd get stuck between different stands and any pressure would eventually make them yeet. But, like 5s, they are gonna head core this shit and either rationalize it to better detach or even humor the shit out of the chat in a desperate attempt to make it stop. Or just flee, always their ultimate best option. So, again less likely to actually bother for long and more into "fuck this shit I'm out". 7w8 might go 8 asserting shit mode tho, and rather fight before avoiding everything, but 7 still win over w8, and any entrapment can lead them to distress and eventually avoidance, or retreat. A cp6 wing can also cause an unexpected Fight Response in the chat to try restore their sense of being free of any bothersome situation, especially if it's a chat they usually interact in.

And 9s (9w1 > 9w8), the classical "conflict avoidant" type, the obvious reason they'd get distressed, more so if Soc in this case, is because conflict involves a clash of ideals, opinions or/and values, and so means picking a side. 9s, especially Soc 9s, really dont want to choose one connection over the other. It's going outright against the concept of peace or even void they seek. It actually pushes them into instability and then, insecurity (-> 6). It pushes them away from their body and force them into their mind, which now becomes chaotic and they just want to avoid this shit.

I insist on Soc because Soc cares about connections overall and the belonging they get from groups in general, even if they still barely know it yet (they are actually trying to bond, conflict = connection killer), so it would threaten directly one of their primary need and so, attack any core fear automatically too.

Sx variants might find it less distressing because Sx is a picky hoe and will side with whoever feeds their Sx. Sp variant would mostly be unbothered since its main objective is to keep the self safe, but it could also feel distressed if picking side could threaten the preservation of certain of their relationships. So, [phobic Feeler] Soc variants (dom>aux) are the most prone to be anxious and feel distressed in that kind of conflicts.
