🪐 Maybe the universe where Jayden really does save the world? :)
"Still can't believe that i did it..." A primarina wearing a scarf and hat says.
"I knew we could do it since the beginning!" Said a quilava with a eviolite.
"Of course you did" Jayden the primarina and world savior, that was still for him to think, said while rolling his eyes. "You were the one who convinced me to stay on the team after all."
"And considering Zygarde ended up going on a rampage and me, you and a certain lycanroc were the ones to solve said Angry Zygarde problem... I think it was a good thing."
The primarina smiled. "True. I'm glad i got to know you two."
"And im glad to know you and i bet our friend would agree on that."
Indeed in this world Zygarde did not get help from a team of locals wich meant they ended up becoming a danger and in this world Jayden never left the adventure team and as such his team ended up being the main reason for Zygarde regaining his senses and stop rampaging.

PLA SPOILERS BELOW
Akari has been exiled from Jubilife into the wilderness, unable to return until she fixed the sky. Ingo is going to find her and help her.
Another fic! I put up a post with a list asking what prompts people would like to see in the next fic, and it got a reblog mentioning Akari’s exile, so I finished this one up first for the kind person who responded to my question!
OR read it on AO3 here!
Enjoy!
————
Tears ran down the ex-survey corps member’s face as the sun dipped lower and lower towards Hisui’s mountain line. With the weakened natural light waning, the already-overpowering red tint of the dark sky only grew stronger.
Akari sat within a small tent constructed in the forests of The Heartwood, near Lord Kleavor’s abode and away from Jubilife. She was holding Ember, her Quilava, tight like a teddy bear for comfort; tears that fell upon the fire Pokémon’s warm body sizzled quietly, but Ember did not mind; her trainer - her partner - was visibly upset.
They had kicked her out.
After everything that had happened!
Lost in the world from the moment she woke up on that beach, a single act of kindness had been extended to her by a man who found her there. He didn’t know her and had no reason to trust her, but he extended a chance to her anyways. It led to everything she would have asked for; a home, food and clothes, and friends…family. Not just with the town of Jubilife Village, but with the clans as well.
It had started off as just a job for Akari, something to do in return for basic necessities, but her work for the Galaxy Team began to be motivated by love over time. She loved these people who (she thought) loved her, and she loved that they were trying to hard to love each other, to unify their clans - she was glad her work was helping them.
Akari’s heart had become attached to the people of Hisui, to the Pokémon and to her work. So when the sky bruised over and Commander Kamado blamed her, a child who knew as much about what was happening as anyone else did, he painfully ripped the tethers of her heart out.
What did she do wrong? Surely, she didn’t do any of the wicked things the commander accused her of. Everyone present had defended her to some degree, but in the end, nothing came of it. The commander exiled her with an impossible task of fixing the sky, condemning anyone who would help her, and with a heavy heart, Cyllene led her out of the village and into the wilderness, cut off from everyone she had come to love.
So she left. Akari couldn’t bring herself to stray very far from Jubilife though, and pitched her tent in the Obsidian Fieldlands, where the towering tree was. The sounds of the forest always comforted her, but during this time, it did little to help.
Recalling these events in her mind pushed new tears from Akari’s eyes, and she wiped them with her thick sleeve, now damp from having done this several times over.
Akari didn’t hate anyone for what happened. She was just confused on why things had to happen the way they did.
The sun had set, leaving the wilderness tinted dark red. Akari peeked out of the small tent, gazing up at the kaleidoscope patterns in the clouds through the canopy of the forest.
The sky scared her. She didn’t know what was happening, or what was about to happen. She just wanted someone with her. But it had been hours since her exile, and no one had come. She shouldn’t have expected anyone to come, no one was allowed to.
But she still hoped someone would.
Ember licked a few tears away from Akari’s face once she stopped wiping at them herself, in an attempt to comfort her. The young girl sniffed as she hugged the Quilava tighter, burying her face in its warm fur.
At least she still had her Pokémon.
Akari froze when she felt Ember perk up in her arms. Was something approaching?
Was a wild Pokémon stalking them?
Ember indicated no aggravation though. She did not growl, she just stared between the trees into the red, hazy distance from Akari’s lap.
Akari let Ember out of her arms and slowly stood up, taking a few cautious steps out of the tent to investigate.
It took a few moments of silence for Akari to hear something far off. It sounded…like her name being called..?
Turning her head in the direction of the sound, Ember came to her side as the young girl waited, stiff and silent to confirm what she thought she heard.
“Akari? Are you out here? Akari!”
Even without the “miss” he usually added before her name when addressing her, Akari knew exactly who was calling for her.
“Ingo!” The girl sobbed. Her legs almost gave out on her as she hurried between the trees in the direction of the warden’s voice, Ember following closely behind and yipping loudly.
“I’m here!”
——
The moment Ingo had heard of Akari’s banishment, his chest filled with ice.
Accusing a child of conducting a grand plan to throw the world into chaos? Kamado had been in that office of his for way too long.
Ingo always thought she was somehow connected to the gaping rip in the atmosphere above the mountain (and wondered if he was too, by chance), but when the sky blistered and the gash in the heavens deepened, the idea of it being Akari’s fault never entered his mind. And if it did, it would have been laughable, if not aggravating.
It quickly became the latter when word spread of what Kamado had ordered.
Ingo had suspected something bad had happened when Irida returned back to the Pearl Clan Settlement, visibly upset and calling for a meeting.
Starting the meeting off with Akari’s exile was not the best idea on Irida’s part, though; Ingo was already gone before she could even explain that, for the sake of relations, assistance or involvement from either clan was prohibited.
Ingo knew better to go to Jubilife. The village liked to group him and the child together when it came to matters of the rift in the sky. And why wouldn’t they? He had appeared out of nowhere one day, just like her. The two were the same to the people of Hisui.
Ingo had heard Irida explain Kamado had tried to jail Akari, and it took a severe amount of backlash for him to lessen it to an exile. Surely, if Ingo proceeded to Jubilife now, he would be imprisoned.
So the warden immediately started combing through the wilderness, far away from Jubilife, but slowly making his way closer as he continually found no trace of her.
It had been hours into his search by now, and he found himself nearing the Obsidian Fieldlands, namely The Heartwood, having repeatedly called out to receive no answer. He had been calling for her over the hours, and even though he had a strong voice, it was starting to grow hoarse.
The sun had gone down, leaving the land in red, and the monumental tree that Lord Kleavor called it’s home towered above the rest of the forest, like a dormant giant.
None of his Pokémon had returned to him yet either, and he counted that as both good and bad news. The warden had sent them all out in search of Akari, and Ingo wanted nothing more than for one of his Pokémon to return, Akari in tow. But what if she was brought back hurt? Or one of his Pokémon had found her fatally injured? The warden was starting to worry himself with upsetting scenarios. Ingo told his Pokémon to return to his lodging at the Pearl Clan settlement if they hadn’t found anything by sundown, and wait for him. At this point, Ingo was wondering if finding them all back there by his return would be a better outcome.
What a terrible situation to have to think like this!
Akari was a child! How could Kamado do this to her?
Ingo’s boot splashed as he crossed a stream, nearing the forest. Would Akari have possibly chosen this place as her shelter?
Regardless, he was going to search the area. Safety checks involved inspecting every section thoroughly.
“Akari!” The warden called out again from the edge of the woods, startling a flock of sleepy starly from a nearby tree. “Are you out here?”
Nothing but the wind was heard, whistling lightly through the red-tinted trees. Even the Pokémon of the forest were quiet.
He proceeded further in, pushing leaves and branches aside.
“Akari!” He called once more.
“Ingo!”
The warden directed his attention to his left, towards the voice he had been waiting to hear for hours.
“I’m here!”
Akari burst through the foliage of the forest with Ember shortly following, running for Ingo with tears in her eyes. Worry was replaced by profound relief in the warden’s mind, and his heart, filled with compassion, broke at the sight of the girl.
He knelt down and opened his arms for her, and a weight buried itself in his chest as arms wrapped tightly around his middle. Ember was jumping at Ingo’s feet, excited to see him.
“You came for me!” Muffled sobs dampened Ingo’s tunic as small hands tightly gripped his coat. “You came!”
“I did as soon as I heard what happened,” Ingo added as he embraced Akari, letting her cry into him as he held her.
“They threw me out! I did everything they wanted me to do! I was a good survey corps member! Why did they throw me out?” Akari spilled her heart out to the warden, her voice cracking under the pressure. “They thought I made the sky like this! I don’t know anything about it!”
“Wrong choices were made,” Ingo assured Akari, his own eyes becoming misty at the the sorry state of the girl. She was shaking in his arms, and if she gripped onto his clothes any tighter, she might had added a new tear to it. “Terribly wrong choices. You are not to blame, Miss.”
Akari pulled away from Ingo, hiccuping and wiping the tears and snot from her face with her sleeve.
“Commander Kamado told me, that I had to fix what was wrong with the sky…if I wanted to ever come back.”
Akari’s sobs still wrenched on Ingo’s heart. Kamado was putting way too much pressure on her; she was a child. Where was his compassion? His common sense?
Tears still leaked from Akari’s eyes, and Ingo reached out to wipe them away.
“We will figure something out.” He promised her. Ingo had no idea how to respond to what Akari told him. How could anyone “fix” this? Perhaps with time…but uncertainty was not what Akari needed right now, what she needed was reassurance, and he would give that to her.
A small smile appeared on her tear-stained face, but Akari was still mournful.
“But, you’re not supposed to help me,” she sniffed, the sobs easing into hiccups. “Commander Kamado told the clans to stay away from me or else there would be punishment.”
“No one expressed this to me,” Ingo truthfully responded. Anger flared at Kamado again. He was sending this child to her death! “But this will not change my tracks, Miss. I will assist you.”
Akari looked down at the ground, another small choked sob escaping her. But this time, it was spurred by happiness.
The warden was always there for her when she needed it.
“Now, forgive the abrupt change, but do you have all your belongings on your person, Miss Akari?” Ingo questioned as he stood back up, brushing the dust from his knees.
“Ah, I have most of my stuff back at a tent-“ the girl started, caught a little off guard as she patted her eyes dry, the tears finally ceasing as Ember made her way back to the girls side.
“Excellent! Let us go collect them, then we can depart for my encampment.” Ingo pointed off into the forest from where Akari had emerged from. “I have a secure base camp near Lady Sneasler’s abode in the coronet Highlands. I stay there when trips back to the Pearl Clan settlement are too rough due to weather. Now you can stay there too. No one will find you there, and Lady Sneasler will enjoy your company.”
The night sky was still bruised, dark and red, and the land was still cloaked in a deep red hue, setting fear creeping into every person and Pokémon’s heart, but Ingo had driven all the terror out from Akari. She could not thank the warden enough for his compassion and consideration for her.

Going through ur master list of AUs and celebi incident? For gym leader AU? Please tell me more
okay i definitely tried to asnwer this the day it was asked and then my response was lost in a tragic incident and i lost all motivation but TAKE TWO
so what happened was this: the Umbrella Academy lived pretty isolated in the pokemon au. Like think big spooky manor on the edge of a smallish town, not far away from some really deep and fairly spooky woods populated by all sorts of pokemon.
Anyway, when the kids were 10 they obviously were like “fucking finally, we can leave and go on our pokemon journey and escape” or at least were prepared to Go Forth and Make Father Proud or whatever. Except Reggie was like “yeah, no y’all aren’t leaving just yet”
To which Five, of course, rebelled pretty spectacularly and threatened to run away
“You’ll come crawling back within a day.” Reginald dismisses, because Five doesn’t have a pokemon and you pretty much have to travel through woods crawling with pokemon and trainers in order to get out of town.
Five says “oh? bet” and runs away anyway, deep into the woods
Does Five run into pokemon? Yeah, of course he does. However, he can also teleport and is a feral child who is ABSOLUTELY willing to wrestle a zigzagoon with his bare hands
and Five camps out in the woods with 0 supplies and 0 preparation and look, pokemon are pretty intelligent, right? They can usually tell the difference between a Child and an Adult of a species. Five is also intelligent, and so he absolutely follows the poochyena to the berry bushes which are edible, and gets himself a good meal out of it.
Five is stubborn, and determined, and furious, and he’s going to live in the fucking woods if that’s what it takes because to go back is to admit defeat and that is not an option
So he does live in the woods. The pokemon adapt to him being around. He bunks down with bidoof or sleeps in the trees in nests of taillow and has an ongoing rivalry with the family or purrloin over who can find the best berry bushes
and then he meets celebi
Five is smart, but he’s young and he hasn’t exactly been deep diving into myths and legends in what little spare time he has. He doesn’t know about the mythos surrounding celebi, all he knows is this weird little onion fairy is friendly and lives to play tag - so they do. Five teleports around the woods and hides and jumps out and laughs when he manages to tag the little creature
and one day Five and Celebi are playing, and they get ‘home’ and find... nothing. The family of purrloin are gone, the pikipek who plucked twigs out of Five’s hair in the evening has vanished, the pidgey nest is in pieces
and then they hear voices, and Celebi looks at Five and grabs his hand right before they could be discovered and -
They’re in the woods again. Well, they is a strong word. Five opens his eyes, and Celebi is gone. It’s just the woods. Curious and wary faces poke out of the trees and the bushes, but none that he recognizes. A family of ratata are in the hollow that serve as the purrloin’s home. The trees aren’t arranged right. The paths aren’t the same. The woods look different and Five... panicks just a little bit okay
So he runs through the woods and everything looks familiar and also different, he can spot the craggy rocks where the pidove like the make their nests, but the berry bushes aren’t where they should be. The canyon is only half as deep as it should be, and the graveyard of bikes stolen from various trainers is absent
Five does the only thing he thinks he can do: he goes home
Which would be much more significant if there was a home to go to. Five gets to where he’s absolutely sure his village should be, where the manor should be, where his siblings live, and just. Keep finding more woods. He figured he must have taken a wrong turn at the caves, but when he backtracks it’s where it’s supposed to be. He’s in the right location, but the wrong... time
Celebi did this, he is sure of it, and so that’s who he has to find
Except Celebi is nowhere to be found, and Five looks. He trecks through the forest for miles every day, plucking berries from bushes with nimble fingers and curling up in nests of moss at night. The pokemon of this time aren’t especially wary of him and indeed often come chittering up to sniff him and ask him to play. Five wonders if they’ve ever even seen a human before.
(Honestly it seems half the pokemon have decided he’s a weird variation of abra or ralts? demonstrating his teleportation makes one concerned ursaring scoop him up and leave him at the feet of a gardevoir with grunts of diapproval but Five is a strong independent young human who doesn’t need pokemon parents)
Years pass, and Five learns the ebb and flow of the woods even more in depth than he did before. He makes friends, the various pokemon running around and helping him look for Celebi but who also tempt him into playing with them and helping them and just living
(sometimes, Five wonders why he’s even trying to get back. he wonders why when he’s curled up and soft and safe, when he knows in the morning that he’s going to go to the river to play. then he remembers his siblings, who are still stuck with Reggie as far as he knows)
He grows up in the woods with pokemon as parents and siblings, grows taller and older and is very good at mimicry. He hoots softly to the pidgey and barks with the growlithe and dances with the hoppip, learning a million different languages as he runs recklessly between the trees racing electrike to the lake with laughter on his lips
and then he finds Celebi again, on an unremarkable day when he’s challenged quilava to a game of hide and seek tag
and Celebi extends their hands to him
“I haven’t said goodbye.” Five protests, but Celebi extends they hands again and Five knows that if he leaves now he might not ever find the little creature again
(He thinks of his siblings and takes a deep breath and reaches out and -)
He’s back in the woods again. Alone again.
(He looks down at his hands, and startles, because they aren’t his hands. They’re too young, caked in dirt but without the calluses he’s gained over the years.)
He runs, he runs back to his village and almost bowls over a drainer on his desparate sprint. Even the sight of a person is so strange that it almost halts Five in his tracks, but instead he sprint until he’s standing in front of a sight he hasn’t seen in years
He’s at the manor. But it’s different still. The lawn is in minor disrepair, which isn’t that much but it’s still wildly different from Reginald’s exacting standards of perfection. Maybe the old man let things go looking for Five? Did Five’s absence affect things so much?
He hears arguing, and without even thinking about it he jumps and suddenly he’s in front of - a bunch of strangers?
“Five?” One of them says with a voice that wobbles, and Five immediately backs up.
“Who are you?” Five asks, but he’s pretty sure he already knows. There are six people here, after all, all who look hauntingly like the siblings he left behind if they’d been allowed to grow up in his memory.
“Five, Five it’s us. What happened to you?”
“No.” Five denies, “No. I’m back. This isn’t right. This is wrong.”
That’s how the siblings end up having to deal with a physically eleven year old Five crashing Reginald’s funeral or whatever looking like he’s been living in the woods for months or maybe years? Five tells them he’s older than 11, that he lived in the woods for years but doesn’t know what Celebi did to him. At first he wants to go hunt Celebi down again and demand he be taken back to where he should be, but Vanya stops him stating that they lost him years ago and they need him to stay now
So they get the fun honor of having to raise a half-feral pre-teen who hasn’t really had human contact since he was 10 and who seems more comfortable with pokemon than he does with people. Most of the fam are well on their way to setting up gyms/already being gym leaders/working their way up and so Five ends up as the dragon gym leader when he’s physically 13-years-old
His siblings are all like “haha yeah we’re all the same age I think? unclear” and when people point at five they’re just like “haha yeah celebi time travel bullshit is the worst amiright” and no one has the balls to challenge them on it
(Five didn’t become a gym leader at physically 11 because he had to be taught to reintegrate into society. He still naps in piles with his pokemon and has to be bribed into using a bed/sleeping indoors but he actually speaks to trainers instead of dropping from the ceiling and ambushing them for gym battles so improvement)

PSMD Player Never Returns AU
Hi guys Elle again. Like I said in my previous post, I’ve been playing some PMD and am planning to quit the games after my player disappears. So this is how it’ll go if the player (in SMD) disappears forever.
The AU:
(Before you read this, just to let you know: this is one of my PMD AUs where the player never returns. I hope you enjoy this and no rude comments or anything mean. I worked really hard on this)
The AU:
Years have passed since the disappearance of Jaylin, a female Bulbasaur. Her friend Cyra, a female Cyndaquill, was upset and couldn’t stop thinking about that moment. Then some time later she goes on a quest to bring Jaylin back. However, the quest fails and the player disappears forever. This is how things become different.
The quest fails as somehow a storm quickly starts before Cyra could get Mew to bring Nina back. Then a Zekrom zapped Cyra, making her unconscious and the Zekrom destroys Mew and Jaylin disappears forever. A Reshiram then fights the Zekrom and Zekrom (Let’s call them without the “the”s to make it easier) flew out of here.
Reshiram then took the unconscious Cyndaquill to a place (Aka the same place where the player met Nuzleaf). Then, a shiny Azurill, named Millie, encountered Cyra and woke her up and told her she wasn’t moving at all and she (Millie) was worried sick. Cyra realized that it was Zekrom and the storm that caused her to be unconscious.
Cyra introduces Mille and vice versa. Then, Mille curiously asks Cyra if she’s been in adventures before. Cyra replies yes and there’s been lots of adventures and she asks Millie if she like to be part of those adventures. Millie couldn’t contain her excitement and replied yes. Together, the two became a new duo. But even so, Cyra knew that she would never replace Jaylin.
A lot of the same events unfold and when dark matter comes back, the two go on this quest. During the quest, Millie asks Cyra why she’s always depressed and sometimes pessimistic and a bit cold on the inside. Then, Cyra explains to Millie her whole journey.
She tells her of her previous best friend she met, and tells her that her friend was her original partner. She also tells her about her previous battle of dark matter and her best friend's disappearance. She ultimately breaks down into tears again and cries while laying down in despair.
Millie feels very sorry and sympathetic for everything Cyra has gone through. She tries her best to comfort Lilly, saying that life is hard and that these things happen, and we just have to try our best to get over them and stay strong.
Cyra is cheered up by her kind words and can't thank Millie enough, and she continues crying, but this time tears of joy. She knows deep down that no one will be able to replace Jaylin but she's willing to let her new partner to live up to her old friend.
A lot of the post ending story now continues as normal, except Lilly is the main character and she has her new partner, Dumbo, and with some other slight differences since Jaylin is not present. During an adventure, A storm quickly blows and the two see Zekrom.
Cyra recognized him as the Pokémon who created the storm and attacked her during her failed quest, and showed signs of anger. Zekrom explained that he wanted to destroy mew because he didn’t want her friend to return and so he can bring back dark matter.
Then, Zekrom explains that Jaylin was a human before being transferred into the Pokémon world, shocking the duo. He (yes, Zekrom and Reshiram are males) also explains that he was going to rule the world alongside dark matter, but realizes the duo’s powers would make them two new great partners-in-crime.
Zekrom persuades the two to join him, but the duo refuse and they battle. Reshiram helps the two and Zekrom loses. Then, Reshiram sets the portal Zekrom was escaping from, knocking Zekrom out. Then, Xerneas appears and she (yes Xerneas is a female), alongside Reshiram, congratulate them and identifies them as a great duo and great two heroes.
Like the actual post ending story the two Pokémon evolve, with Cyra evolving into Quilava and then Typhlosion and Millie into Marill and then Azumarill. At this stage Cyra has noticed how much of a bond she has formed with Jaylin, and saw that she was worthy of the title of Millie.
She would never completely get over the loss of her old friend, Jaylin, but knowing her new partner was around her, she felt happier than if she was alone. And even if she’s lost some old friends, she’s still got new ones like Millie.
It's pretty much a role reversal, Cyra use to be the partner and now she’s pretty much the main character.

So lately I have been working on making Pokemon Delta Species sprites and I'm actually happy with how they are turning out! So far I have lines for Bagon, Cyndaquil, Ralts, Trapinch, & Treecko! I also have some PokeDex entries for all of these pokemon! Delta Bagon: due to this Pokemon's egg being coated in liquid metal, this Pokemon was born with an added steel type to it. With spikes for feet and no arms to speak of, this Pokemon survives by trading the metal strips that grow on its head for food and shelter from humans. Dragon/Steel
Delta Shelgon: Upon evolution, this Pokemon coats itself in a solid steel shell. It uses its metal strips to protect its face in moments of distress and can use its iron rock excrement as weapons and items to barter with. Dragon/Steel
Delta Salamence: Using the stones and plates it created as a Shelgon, this Pokemon has fashioned wings and a tail for itself. The tail can swing with the strength of a hundred men and its wings sharper than the finest blade. Unfortunately due to the weight of its metal, it cannot lift itself more than an inch from the ground. Dragon/Steel
Mega Delta Salamence: Mega Evolution causes the metal in this Pokemons tail to undergo a change on a molecular level. The metal forms into a crystal substance, allowing it to be harder and heavier. Mega Evolution also causes its tail and wings to triple in size. Unlike Its normal counterpart, Delta Salamences that undergo Mega Evolution feel even closer to their trainers and will often chip off sections of its tail to give to them as gifts. Dragon/Steel
Delta Cyndaquil: Mysterious forces caused this pokemon to be born without eyes. Instead, it uses an innate psychic connection to sense its surroundings. It controls vibrant flames with these powers to ward off enemies. Fire/Psychic
Delta Quilava: Upon evolution, its sense of hearing has been increased. It uses the mix of its hearing and psychic powers to hunt prey which would otherwise be unable to be caught. Fire/Psychic
Delta Typhlosion: Harnessing all of its Psychic powers, this Pokemon has manifested a "third eye" of sorts. Although it cannot see with this eye, legend says that it can see your past, your present, and your future. It has a habit of sticking near trainers whose futures hold disaster. Fire/Psychic
Mega Delta Typhlosion: Mega Evolution does not alter this Pokemons appearance outwardly, instead its psychic connection is increased exponentially. The increase of Psychic power summons Unown to its side in various different words, the different words boost its powers in different ways. Fire/Psychic
Delta Ralts: Being born in a flower garden, this Pokemon changed to become a Psychic and Grass-type Pokemon. It pokes a single eye out to look for flowers to add to its collection. Psychic/Grass
Delta Kirlia: Having grown its collection of flowers, this Pokemon uses them in dances to draw spectators to its garden to admire it's home. Psychic/Grass
Delta Gardevoir: Confident in its own collection, this pokemon travels to other flower gardens to give them the same life and love that it had. It uses its Psychic powers to keep flowers alive as it travels from garden to garden. Psychic/Grass
Mega Delta Gardevoir: The bond between this Pokemon and it's Trainer gives it the strength it needs to grow the biggest and best flowers in the land. It adorns itself with the cream of the crop, even taking its tallest flower up as a weapon. Psychic/Grass
Delta Gallade: Upon being exposed to a firestone, Delta Kirlia undergoes a different evolution. Losing its arms upon evolution, constant flames take its place burning a bright red and blue. In order to make up for this, it uses its psychic powers to project two arms that is uses to control things instead. Psychic/Fire
Mega Delta Gallade: Mega evolution is a curse and a blessing to this Pokemon. What little bit of its arms it had left are gone, replaced with an ornate cape. In return, however, it's Pyromancy is increased. Allowing it to triple the number of Telekinetic hands it can manifest with ease. It is unknown if six is the maximum it can form at a time, due to each one's heat, it is difficult to stay close to this Pokemon. Psychic/Fire
Delta Trapinch: This little Pokemon was born with a dull shell. In order to protect itself, it rolls around in caves and shops full of metal to cling the shards to its body. The strong magnetic field that surrounds it is known to make Pokeballs short out when trainers attempt to catch it. Steel
Delta Vibrava: After collection enough metal with its internal magnetism a Delta Trapinch can evolve, forming the metal it collects into its entire body. Sprouting wings from its shell this Pokemon allows it to leap small distances, however, due to the weight of its body, it cannot get very far this way. Shiny Delta Vibravas are sought after by poachers due to the sapphires that form its legs and gold that form its body. Steel/Bug
Delta Flygon: With evolution, the wings on its back grow bigger allowing it to float roughly a foot off the ground. It has a habit of slapping its friends with its tail due to how happy it is about its minor powers of flight. It is also able to use its tail to make burrows in big trees to lay their eggs. Steel/Bug
Delta Treecko: Born in the Holon region, this Pokemon has a natural affinity to the Psychic element. It uses this power to pull berries from trees and to stop prey on its tracks. It is theorized that the stone on its head is the source of its power.
Delta Grovyle: This Pokemon has increased its training to have a near mastery over its psychic powers. As it leaps from tree to tree, the mist it naturally produces can send unsuspecting passersby into a mindless trance. Do not try to pet this Pokemon on the head. It is protective of the jewel embedded there and will attack those who would touch it.
Delta Sceptile: Due to its extensive training, six other gems have formed from this Pokemon. The gems float around it, swapping in and out of position with the one on its head. It is unknown the importance of these seven gems, but the Pokemon will protect all of them with its life.
Mega Delta Sceptile: the mist produced by this Pokemons orbs is increased tenfold by Mega Evolution. This mist can easily cover a battlefield in an instant, boosting the power of all Psychic moves used in its radius. This Pokemon tends to use the mist as cover for other nefarious deeds, sneaking without its trainers' knowledge to hunt unsupervised.
Delta Torkoal: Unlike its natural counterpart this Pokemon runs off an internal source of magma. To keep this magma burning hot it collects wood and Grass Pokemon which it burns inside its body. It keeps its victims alive until they are burnt out, causing a lifetime of torment until they are no more. It is also said that this Pokemon enjoys helping trainers make glass for ornaments with its heat.

“Summer”
A writing prompt from the Pokeshipping Discord run by @lightningenergy and @waterrflower.
This is set in the continuity of a group fic I work on, so some context before we get started: Ash now has an Alolan Sandshrew. His Lycanroc’s picked up the nickname Sunset, and Sunset’s mate is Midnight, a Shiny Midnight-form Lycanroc that belongs to Miette and lives on Oak Ranch. Ash also gave Misty and Eevee for Christmas.
("OK, Uncle!") Azurill called. ("I'm ready!")
("Me too, Azurill!") Pikachu replied. ("Go for it!") He spread his arms wide and readied himself. The little Polka Dot Pokémon scurried back to the end of the log, bounded forward in three great jumps, and dove straight into Pikachu's arms. The force knocked them both into the water, and they came right back up, laughing.
In the water around them, and on the lakeshore nearby, Ash's other Pokémon broke into cheers and applause. Buizel and Oshawott swam over to pat Azurill's head. On the shore, Misty's Psyduck waved his flippers, Pidgeot flapped his wings, and Donphan trumpeted. Bulbasaur reached out with his vines to lift Azurill back onto the log they were using as a makeshift diving board. And Misty's Eevee, who stood in the water up to the tops of her paws just to the left of the log, cheered again and again: ("Yay, sister!")
("Awful lot of fuss to make over a two-foot dive,") Pikachu heard Torracat say through a yawn. The fire cat was draped over a high branch in a tree well back from the waterline, while Ash's other Fire-Types sat or lay around it. Charizard gave rough grunt at all the noise, but Quilava smiled and shook his head.
("Lighten up, you two,") he said. ("The kid's still getting used to the water ahead of the day she becomes a Marill. And besides, how often do we have Pikachu here?")
("That's right,") Infernape agreed. ("You should come to the ranch more often!") he called out to his friend.
("Maybe I should,") Pikachu chuckled. There was nothing stopping him, not since he and Ash permanently moved back to Pallet Town. He liked seeing all of his friends, and on beautiful summer days like this, there was always plenty to do at the Oak Ranch.
("Where's Ash?") asked Sunset. He was sprawled out on the sand, with Midnight snuggled up over his back.
("It's Saturday,") Pikachu replied. ("When he and Misty are done being even more cuddly and gross than you two -")
("Hey!")
("He has to spend all day with May and Dawn getting measurements for the wedding while she works with Miette and her sister. Ash'll be back around six; he and Misty wanted to do some training here for the Indigo League.")
("Ah, the wedding,") Oshawott sighed. A starry-eyed look crossed his face as he flipped onto his back. ("I can't wait! Our Ash, at the end of the aisle, looking his best, and getting married to the greatest, prettiest girl in the whole wide world!")
Charizard rolled his eyes. ("Of course the love runt loves the water freak.")
("She's the best and you know it!")
("I still can't believe Ash proposed,") Bulbasaur chuckled. ("I thought for sure Misty would have to do it herself.")
("What, propose?") said Pikachu.
("No - buy her own ring, write out a proposal, and tell Ash exactly what to say and do.")
("And he wouldn't have realized what he was saying until a minute later,") Charizard snickered.
("Oh, give him some credit,") said Sunset. ("He pulled it off, didn't he?")
("With my expert advice,") Pikachu added. ("But yes, he did.")
("And it'll be the most spectacular wedding on the face of the earth!") Oshawott shot out a weak Ice Beam to give himself a pedestal on the water's surface, the better to let him pirouette in joy.
("They're doing it outdoors, right?") wondered Pidgeot. ("How else would they fit us all in?")
("And Misty's Pokémon, too - how will they see it?")
("What time of day will it be? Have they decided yet?")
("We're not going out-of-region for this, are we?")
Everyone fell into discussing the wedding, in some way or another. There were five different conversations going about at once, in as many groups, and they all had questions for Pikachu. And his answers to all of them - that no, he really didn't know what the plans were for the wedding, that he doubted Ash and Misty had anything set beyond the date and their tailors, that if it wasn't for May and Dawn and the other girls' prodding they probably wouldn't have even that fixed - wasn't satisfactory.
("Come on, there has to be something more by now!") whined Oshawott.
("They at least have a guest list, right?") asked Noivern.
("And colors, and decorations, and floral arrangements - they know what to do about those, don't they, hey hey?") said Corphish.
("No, no, and no!") Pikachu cried. ("And can we slow down a minute? I can't keep track of -")
("Uncle, what are 'floral arrangements?'") asked Azurill.
("Flowers, Azurill. Now, if everyone can ask their questions one at a time - ")
("Do Mommy and Daddy need flowers?")
("For the wedding, yes. But that's still a long ways away, and -")
("Summer's end? That's only two-and-a-half months,") said Buizel. ("They'd better start getting prepared.")
("Do you think we could be involved with planning it?") asked Torterra. ("I could do some landscaping!")
("Me too!") Bulbasaur smiled. ("And Bayleef could help too - right?")
("Hmmph.")
("Not this again...")
("This Misty isn't the type of girl who wants birds flying around, is she?") Staraptor frowned. ("I don't know why humans go for that, but there's no way I'll agree to something that silly.")
("She's not gonna ask for that!") Pikachu snapped.
("Er - everyone?") Sandshrew said softly. Pikachu heard, but couldn't respond over the ongoing chatter.
("Summer's end could be hot, or the start of fall weather. They might need a bonfire...")
("Where can they go for their honeymoon? Ash has been, like, everywhere on Earth, hey hey!")
("What we really need to do,") said Pidgeot, with a pointed stare Midnight's way, ("is to find a way to keep this one's Trainer from pulling any funny business.")
The blue Lycanroc lifted a brow. ("And what's that supposed to mean?")
("Come on, dear,") Sunset yawned. ("You know what she's like.")
("Don't you start too,") Midnight grumbled. She nipped at her mate's ear before nestling her head down into the fur on his back. Pikachu fought off the urge to gag.
("Um, excuse me, but -")
("You'll probably get to sit with his mom,") Charizard snickered to Torracat. ("I'll bet she'll get you a bowtie, too.")
("Hmmph. I'd never wear such a thing.") The Fire Cat Pokémon quickly busied himself with personal grooming.
("You're right - she'll probably get her new Growlithe to do it.")
("Wha - but what's wrong with me!?")
("Ah - I'm sorry, everyone, but I really need to -")
("I'm sorry, everyone, but this is important, and we need to -")
("QUIET!") Pikachu screamed. For good measure, he shot a Thunderbolt off into the air. All the Pokémon still in the lake with him shot daggers his way, but everyone finally shut up. Thank Arceus. I couldn't take another minute of that...
Bulbasaur nodded approvingly and turned to his assistant. ("OK, Sandshrew. What did you need to tell us?")
The Alolan-form fidgeted uncomfortably where he stood. ("Er...Misty's Azurill and Eevee are gone.")
("What? Don't be silly. They're right over -") Pikachu pointed to the diving log, but his hand dropped down to his side. There was no sign of Misty's two baby Pokémon. ("Where'd they go?")
("They were just there,") said Charizard. He, Pidgeot, and Noivern took to the skies and circled around over the lake, but they came back down almost immediately. ("We can't see them.")
("We can't see anything through all these trees,") Noivern added, nodding to the woods nearby. ("But they can't have gone far.")
("Azurill!") Pikachu hollered, as loud as he could. ("Eevee! Where are you?")
("They go for flowers,") Psyduck said. He was prodding a fallen apple with his bill, and hadn't even looked up from the fruit. Even as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Sandshrew, Charizard, Torracat, and both Lycanrocs closed in around him, he still didn't look up.
That's just perfect, Pikachu thought with a shake of his head. The only one of us who noticed is the unfathomable. ("Psyduck,") he said. ("What do you mean, they went for flowers?")
("You say Mistress and her Ashboy need flowers,") the duck replied. ("For wedding. Babies go for flowers.") He waved a hand down a cleared path leading into the woods. ("That way.")
("THAT WAY!?") Bulbasaur gasped. He looked pale.
Psyduck nodded. ("Eevee smell flowers that way. They be back soon.")
("Forget that!") Bulbasaur snapped. ("Charizard, head down to the clearing! Sunset, Midnight, in after them! Sandshrew, Torracat - with me! We'll cut through the shortcut!") Everyone rushed to obey. Charizard cleared the treetops in under two seconds. The Lycanrocs darted down the path, vanishing into the shadows of the trees. And Bulbasaur knocked aside some brush to their right to expose a rough, beaten dirt trail. He let Torracat lead the way, and had Sandshrew take up the rear.
("Bulbasaur, what is it?") Pikachu asked, following them in. With his visits to the ranch being so rare, he didn't know much about how things worked in the place, but he always assumed that it was peaceful, safe, and happy. That's how everyone always made it sound. No one ever said there was anything dangerous on the ranch. Certainly nothing that would cause Bulbasaur to hurry down the hill after Azurill and Eevee. With his speed, it wasn't hard for Pikachu to keep pace with his old friend, but he was still amazed at how quick they were going. ("What's wrong?") he asked again.
("Two things,") Bulbasaur said quickly. ("First - there is a flowerbed at the bottom of this hill, but there's a big Moss Rock down there.")
("So what? What's the big deal about a mossy old rock?")
("Mew, you sound like Ash right now. Not a mossy rock, a Moss Rock. Understand?")
(A Moss Rock? You mean...oh!") Pikachu's cheeks sparked with fright. ("But Misty still has the Water Stone Ash gave her!")
("Exactly. But the other problem is that that flowerbed is where - they live.")
---
Eevee liked the smell of roses best out of all flowers. The tickseed, the lavender, and the daylilies were nice too, but there was something special about roses. They were so rich; it was almost like a meal through the sense of smell! And there were so many kinds of roses - red, white, pink, lilac, yellow, and even...
("Look, Azurill!") she trilled with a hop. ("Blue roses! Mommy loves the big blue water, and Daddy always wears blue. Don't you think they'd love these? They smell so pretty!")
Azurill buried her face into one of the flowers and took a big whiff. She closed her eyes and let out a happy sigh. ("They do. But I heard Mommy and Daddy teasing Auntie May's boyfriend about his roses. Maybe we should get some of these other ones?")
("The daylilies? Auntie Daisy would like those, but I don't know how much Mommy likes Auntie Daisy...")
("Don't say that!") Azurill chided. ("She's a lot nicer now. And if Mommy wins her big fight and gets her new job, Auntie Daisy might do all the Gym Leadering from now on.")
("Hmm...maybe some of those, then. And the blue roses, and the red ones for Mommy's hair, and the white ones, and the -")
A shadow fell over the two of them from behind. Instead of turning around, they both craned their heads back to look up. Three large Pokémon surrounded them in a half-circle, a Rhyperior, a Machamp, and a Granbull. None of them looked very nice, but Mommy and Auntie Milotic always said not to judge people by how they looked.
("Well, well, well,") said the Rhyperior. ("What do we have here?")
("Hello,") Azurill said pleasantly. ("We're picking flowers for our mommy!")
("Is that right?") Rhyperior looked back and forth between his companions. ("Here that boys? They're picking flowers.")
("On our turf,") grunted the Granbull. ("You're a long ways away from the big house, ain't you kids?")
Azurill smiled and bounced around to face them. ("It's OK. Uncle knows the way back!")
("Your uncle, huh?") The Machamp cracked his knuckles. ("I don't see him around now.")
("No...but he's right up the hill.") Whatever Mommy and Auntie Milotic said, Eevee didn't like these Pokémon. She wanted to walk away, but Azurill was still smiling up at them as if nothing was wrong.
("Do you wanna help us pick flowers?") she asked. They all laughed.
("Sure,") Rhyperior replied. ("We'll help you pick the flowers. But first - ") he shuffled back a few steps, and his friends backed away from him - ("either of you two squirts know how to battle yet?")
("Oh no you don't!") Two blurs - one orange, one blue - barreled into the Rhyperior, taking him off his feet. Another orange blur came down from the sky to crash into Granbull. Machamp was brought down by a pair of vines around his legs. Following the vines to a clearing in the trees, Eevee saw Daddy's Bulbasaur at the other end, looking very angry. On his left, the icy Sandshrew and Torracat looked just as mad, and on his right, Uncle Pikachu was bristling with sparks.
("Oh, goody!") Azurill cheered. ("We get to watch battling!")
("You can watch battling,") Eevee frowned. She didn't like battles outside of Mommy's Gym. They were too messy. ("I'm gonna start picking flowers.")
She turned away and started into the meadow. The racket of the battling followed after her, but there was nothing to do for that. She tried to focus on the scent of the flowers. They all smelled wonderful, but she had to pick the absolute best ones for Mommy. The red smell the strongest, but the blue ones are nice and cool, and these lilac ones...what's that other smell, though?
It was wet and earthy, like the garden at Daddy's mom's house. But there was something else about it; something old. Eevee held her nose up high and followed it through the meadow. It wasn't far; just a few feet in, near a big old tree, she found it: a rock, almost as big as Uncle Starmie, with funny green stuff all over it.
It smells...good, Eevee thought. And there was something else about the rock, too. Nothing about the smell, or the look, or any other sense, except a prickly feeling up and down her back that something would happen if she just reached out with a paw to touch it...
("Now hold on there, young missy! What do you think you're doing with that old stone?")
---
They were called the Boxer Boys. The Machamp of the group new the sport, and had taught it to his friends. No one knew just who their Trainer was, but he must have been some piece of work, because all of his Pokémon were dirty fighters and bullies. Bulbasaur said that a huge part of his job when he first came to Oak Ranch was keeping them from making trouble, and Pikachu could see why. It's my own fault for taking Play Rough head-on, but...OW!
He was done with the fighting. Despite the Play Rough, he and Torracat had managed to reduce the Granbull to a sparking, charred mess on the ground. Bulbasaur and Sandshrew had chased the Machamp off, though the jerk had gotten a knock-out over on poor Sandshrew. Charizard followed after the Fighting-type, blasting him from the air with Flamethrowers. Rhyperior was all that was left, and with his immunity to electric attacks, Pikachu could only sit back and nurse his aching tail while the Lycanrocs handled him.
They'd taken their share of blows, Sunset and Midnight, and the Rhyperior's defense was insane, but they wouldn't let up. Sunset used Rock Slide to cut off any retreats, while Midnight worked away with Counters and Reversals. Pikachu had to admit: gross as they are together, they made a pretty good battling couple.
("Isn't it amazing, Uncle?") Azurill asked. She'd watched the whole thing, utterly delighted; she was bouncing up and down at the finale. ("And I get to do that some day?")
("Yes,") Pikachu sighed. ("You and Eevee both get to...where's Eevee?")
("She didn't wanna watch the fight. She went to pick flowers.")
("Where?") Pikachu whirled around, the pain in his tail forgotten. ("Where is she? Where's the rock!?")
("What rock, Uncle?")
("We can't let her touch that rock! Bulbasaur, where is it!?")
("I-I can't remember!") The Seed Pokémon had been tending Sandshrew; now, he was looking around as frantically as Pikachu. ("It's in the meadow, but -")
("Don't just stand there!") Sunset snapped; he and Midnight had finally brought Rhyperior down. ("Fan out and let's find her before -")
("Looking for this?")
They all turned at once. Eevee was walking toward them, a small bouquet of roses in her mouth. At her side was a hobbling old Alolan Raichu with a patient chuckle to his voice. ("She was sniffing around the old rock. Of course, it wasn't so old the first time I came here. Not that I was ever here all that much. Still ain't, 'smatter of fact. Oh, but there was this time back a ways when all sorts of trouble came up over that thing, and Vee and I had to -")
("I think we got it,") Bulbasaur said quickly. He extended his vines to embrace Eevee and gently bring her over to Azurill's side. ("Thanks, Pika.")
("Friend of yours?") Midnight asked, with a rather suspicious sniff.
("He's an old-timer,") said Bulbasaur. ("Pops in every now and again, handy with some things.")
("Yessir.") Pika leaned back, his paws held at his chest. ("Like the time all those Tauros got loose the day old Oak and the other one were sick. Of course, that was nothing on some of the things I used to get up to. Did I ever tell you about the time when we were on that airship and I -")
("Thank you, Pika,") Bulbasaur said firmly. ("I need to get Sandshrew to the house, and we need to get these little ones away from that rock.")
("No patience for an old-timer, eh? Well, fine then.") He frowned, but he didn't sound truly angry. As he turned to go, he looked over his shoulder right at Pikachu. ("And good seeing you again.")
("...I'm sorry? Have we...wait a minute.") Pikachu put a paw to his chin. ("The New Years party...the Poke Ball...you're -")
("On my way!") The old Raichu gave a final wave, then headed into the trees.
("What was that about?") asked Bulbasaur. Pikachu just shook his head and slumped down onto his bottom. What a way to end a play day...
("So, Uncle,") Eevee said through her mouthful. ("Can we give these flowers to Mommy and Daddy?")
("Yeah, flowers for Mommy and Daddy!") Azurill cheered.
("Girls...") Pikachu sighed. ("Ash and Misty need flowers for their wedding. That's still a while off.")
("Oh.") They both looked disappointed. ("But - wouldn't Mommy and Daddy like some flowers now anyway?") asked Azurill.
("I...")
("Please, Uncle?") Eevee pleaded. ("I already started. Help us pick some more, please?")
("I don't think -")
("Summer blooms only last so long,") Bulbasaur chuckled. Torracat and the Lycanrocs were chuckling too.
("...Let's wait for Charizard to get back so he can take Sandshrew. Then we'll pick some flowers.")
("Yay!")

The struggle... A battle in the desert. - Digital lights.
There was so much to think, the revelation from Rexshiks’ appearance and the knowledge that his family was so at risk, made that Gex’s worries would go up high, the veedramon sighing to himself after a few days from worriedsome thoughts, maybe... Just maybe someone helped his family get out of all those secret laboratories that they constantly found from place to place, he was the more worried when he felt something comming his way and the veedramon was attentive though... Everything would fade to black as he was alone on his place.
“Why you... Why are you even doing this?!”There was a voice comming from somewhere, the veedramon gasped as he blinked and woke up in middle of nowhere in a dream, the scenario was dark, a black dessert could be seen while he stood there in the middle of it.
“What do you mean?!, who goes there?!” Gex growled, ready to fight, however it was the more weirder since his voice was dry, and barely able to manage any sound, his tongue tripped and made it hard to manage a single world but... He watched, his eyes fiercely upon the other as he was judging... His family was in danger and he wasn’t going to let anybody do what they did to him again.
“You are making all of my plans fail!, everything I do is worthless.... Everything has been worthless!”The voice sorrounded him and echoed through his mind, what does this guy mean... What does he even speak of?, he didn’t understand, at least not at the momment. “You made my life misserable, you are the reason why I am here!, you may ask... Who am I?”
His eyes finally took a bit of a glimpse to the sight of the lost quilava... “Z-Zackarie!” He gasped out, barely able to muster a word, though it was only a glimpse of the past that dragged him, his soul seemed to be incomplete... Such a fate was...
“I am dead... because of you!, you were the one that sent me there to die!, you were the reason why I am doing this... I am taking what you cared for... So... You suffer, you SUFFER for what happened to ME!” The grasp of two big hands clung around the veedramon as he tried to squirm out of the way of the Venom Myotismon... He had to run away!, he had to move out of the way... But... Karma surely reached to him, the Veedramon tried his best to squirm around as he wasn’t able to move out of his grasp, a sudden light comming to rescue him.
“OH NO YOU WON’T!”The voice of the egg reached him, now another digimon appeared, though it was only a spirit Jesmon/Hacku surely managed to save Gex from the impending doom, that was when the warrior had to act, and it wouldn’t stop him. “He saved all of us up till now!, even though you don’t believe in him... For what happened to you it was all a mistake!”
“A mistake!?, you call my death a mistake!?, I will crush you all here and now!!!” The fervent battle started Gex watching the to colosal digimons from far away, he had to do something... But... His mind was somewhere else, he didn’t have that spark, his doubts were all set once more.
“Urg... Agh... Hng...” The veedramon tried to hang himself up. “B-But... If it’s my fault... I-If it’s... It’s I am... I am the reason why everyone is suffering...” He groaned outloud and screamed loudly, all of this was a secondary effect of the black desert, he was... Also lost from everything that’s going on.
“NO!, don’t you dare to give up now!, this is only the beginning, Gex wake up!” Dorumon speak up to him, having arrived there, the light of those that shared his destiny were there to help him in his time of doubts and need.”You didn’t kill him!, it wasn’t your fault!, I am sure there is something else out there!”
“We are not done yet Gex, keep your head up high, you have also managed this far!, you can’t give up!”Rexshik soon reached him as well, more voices echoing on his mind.
“You know we are here for you, no matter what the peril is, if we have to bring someone down and get them back... That’s what we shall do!” Elyra spoke, voices and more voices reaching it.
“Elyra... Dorumon... Rex...” He barely could speak up, shivering on place as he struggled to move at all, slowly raising up.
“You can do it Bro!, I know that because I have seen you do it again and again!, this is not the end.. Just hang in there!” Kano spoke up as well.
“Gex!, please... d-don’t give up!, we need you... Everyone here believes in you!”Sonia spoke as well, the many voices finally reaching the umbreon.
“You are not weak, this is just another someone that is pushing you down... But if we have to fight... Then this is something we cannot afford to lose!” Roxas nodded at him, so many voices.
“E-Everyone...”  Gex looked back, it was all of his friends ready to fight even though their lights surely didn’t fully reach him and their spirits were with him.
“Yes... We are here Gex... You are never truly alone!” Jenna smiled and helped him up. Isaias nodding at him.
“Your friends gave me life... I will give you the energy that they did to help me out... You also are important to us you can’t fail here.”The curious Ninetales and vaporeon hybrid smiled warmly at him, the veedramon nodding at him.
“It’s time to strike back!, Gex give it your all!” The lion nodded and smiled at him, all of his friends had guided him so far... This couldn’t end here, in not a million years.
“Guys... You are right...” Even when none of them were together, their souls and  feelings reached to aid him through the darkest of times, the veedramon roared as he managed to evolve into Ulforce Veedramon, the blue giant roaring and going after the Venom Myotismon, the duo of Royal knights fighting back against him, they were going to make him pay.
“Urgh!, imposible!, you... You won’t defeat me like this!”He was throughly beaten up by the duo, the only ones that could actually fight while the others
“I will free you from your prison... And I will get you back to us, ZACKARIE!!!” The battle ended, and the desert dissappeared, only Jesmon and him being in the middle of nowhere, the souls of his friends helped him to stand up, as Jesmon slowly de-digivolved back into a baby digimon.
“Thank you Hacku... And everyone...” He sighed a bit as he looked around, he had to go back to all of them, this was a weird end for their struggle. They had the idea though, that Zackarie was out there, but he wasn’t where they were, Venom myotismon dissappeared into thin air, probably becomming an egg somewhere...

The Heart of Silver
@silverbuttercups
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STELLA!! You mean a whole lot to me and inspire me to continue writing and I’m really really glad that I know you! So, I decided to put together a little fic for you~
it’s my first time writing soulsilvershipping I HOPE YOU ENJOY!
He never thought someone would ever touch his heart.
Nosy. That was the first thought that crossed Silver’s mind when he saw her. Peering at him with curious brown eyes, a simple smile on her face, the young woman approached. He stiffened. Cut her a glare sharp enough to make her pause, to fracture the light in her eyes.
“What are you staring at?” he barked. His dark eyes flashed. Hands in his pockets, Silver lunged forward a few quick steps. She stumbled back, tripping over her feet. A pathetic shriek fell from her lips. Her rosy cheeks turned ghostly white. She fled without another word, and Silver turned back to the window of Elm’s Pokémon lab.
What a wimp. At least he wouldn’t have to see her stupid face again.
Silver hadn’t spared her another thought until he saw her again. Walking alongside her was a Cyndaquil, shuffling on its tiny feet. The young woman smiled down at it. The light was back in her eyes. A spring in her step. It was disgustingly innocent.
When she raised her eyes to his, her smile stalled for a fraction of a second. “Oh, hey. It’s you again.” Despite his glare, there was no fear in her voice. He focused his attention at the Pokémon by her side.
“You got a Pokémon at the lab,” he noted, narrowing his eyes. She followed his line of sight, still smiling, and nodded. He clicked his tongue. “What a waste.” A pathetic Pokémon for a pathetic Trainer. As if someone like her, someone with the light of innocence still in their eyes, would be able to use that Pokémon to its full potential. Someone who’d never experienced any hardship, so ignorant to the harsh world.
It annoyed him. Frustrated him.
“That Pokémon is too good for a wimp like you.”
She only frowned. A stupid frown that furrowed her brow, crinkled her nose. The light in her eyes gleamed. A spark he couldn’t place, one he didn’t recognise. It was something more than innocent happiness.
Whatever. He’d just have to beat it out of her.
“Don’t you get what I’m saying?” Silver scoffed. He drew out his Pokéball, his glare turning into a sneer. “Well, I too have a Pokémon. I’ll show you what I mean!”
It was a battle that should’ve gone his way. He was ruthless. Pushed his Totodile to its limits, barking and snapping orders left and right.
So how? How did it end with his Totodile fainted and her showering praises to her Cyndaquil?
How did he lose to her?
That should have been the worst of it. He stormed past her, declaring that he would become the strongest trainer, before shoving his hands into his pockets to find his trainer card missing. He whirled on his feet and there it was – held delicately in her hands. Her eyes shifted as she read it and a vehement heat rushed through his body. He was upon her in a flash, snatching  back his card with a seething glare.
“You dropped it,” she said, blinking at him in mute shock. “Your name’s Silver?”
The sound of his name on her lips was foreign and chilling. Like a block of ice dropped into his stomach. He stole away from her with a final glare, burning inside.
He knew. A wimp like her would turn him in. She’d go right to that stupid lab and tell that stupid police his name.
Whatever. He didn’t care.
Nothing was going to stop him from becoming the strongest Trainer.
The universe was playing a cruel trick on him. He’d defeated the Elder in Sprout Tower only to receive a lecture, as if the old man knew anything about what it took to be strong at all. The old man didn’t even have the decency to shrink beneath his icy glare, so when Silver turned around, fetching his Escape Rope from his pack, and saw her…
The look on her face said everything. Her brown eyes wide, eyebrows raised, it was clear that she’d heard everything that blasted Elder had said.
He didn’t want to hear her response. His glare silenced her, which was his mistake. Instead of fear, instead of her shrinking or turning away, concern filled her eyes. Sympathy. Bile rose up his throat, burning and violent. He didn’t need her concern. Her sympathy. Those emotions were for the weak. For those who had to rely on others.
He didn’t need anyone else.
He needed to know. To be sure. And if anyone had any idea about them, it would be her.
Nosy.
As soon as she saw him, her eyes cased his face. The concern was no longer there, but that curiosity lingered. The kind of curiosity that followed their continuous meetings. He could see it in her eyes. In the soft smile on her face as she slowly turned as if to walk around him.
“…Tell me something,” Silver began, making her pause. His throat burned with questions. To snap at her, to drag the answers from her, from anyone. He forced himself to take a breath, inhaling through his teeth, and ask in a way that wouldn’t ignite her curiosity further. “Is it true that Team Rocket has returned?”
Her eyes widened infinitesimally, before she nodded. “Yeah. I just defeated a whole bunch of them in the Slowpoke well.”
Silver’s heart lurched up his throat. “What? You beat them?” This wimp? This girl that tripped over herself to get away from him? How could someone like her beat them?
He barked a laugh. “Hah!” As if he would believe her. Yet his heart thundered in his chest. Stomach churning. “Quit lying.”
There it was again. That light in her eyes. Her lips pressed tight together, brow furrowed. She stood tall. “I’m not lying.”
A beat passed, then two.
“Are you serious?” Silver’s eyes narrowed. He dug out his Pokéball, releasing his Croconaw with a flash of light. “Then let’s see how good you are.”
Again. Again, he lost to her. Again, she praised her Pokémon, showering them with love and adoration that made him sick. It had to be luck. Sheer, pathetic luck. How else could he explain it? How else could Team Rocket have lost to her?
How else could he have lost to her?
Silver turned to leave, fists in his pockets, when she cired. An ear-piercing, heart wrenching shriek that stopped him in his tracks. It was curiosity that made him whirl. Nothing more. Not the rapid pulsing of his heart, the thundering in his ears and the roar of blood in his veins.
An unadulterated look of panic on her face was all he saw. She flustered, fumbling with the egg in her hands, a single, dark crack running its length. The Quilava by her side gripped her leg nervously. She flicked her eyes up to his and he stiffened against his will. Her eyes were pleading, wet and glistening with tears.
“Wh-What do I do?” she whispered, words faint, voice breaking as she sucked in a short breath. She stepped towards him on shaky legs. He was staring. Agape, frozen as she came closer.
No words came to him. He didn’t know what to do. Hell, he didn’t know why she was looking to him for help!
The egg cracked again. It split in her hands, a chip flying loose as the Pokémon inside fought to break free.
Oh.
“It’s just hatching,” Silver scoffed, folding his arms. His tone was harsh, biting. Words stiff and cutting, enough to make anyone blanch and walk away.
Not enough for her. A long sigh left her lips. Drawn out, filled with utter relief. The tears that filled her eyes cascaded down her rosy cheeks. “Oh, thank God.”
And she smiled. A bright, gentle smile aim at him, even as her lips wobbled with a sob of relief, even as she cried. It made his heart stop. The air in his lungs died. She hugged the egg close to her chest with one hand and briefly touched his arm.
“Thank you.”
He lurched back as if her touch, as if those words, had burnt him. As if they were poison. She didn’t seem to notice as the egg cracked further. Finally, the shell split enough and the top dropped to the ground, revealing a petite baby Pokémon.
Silver stared as she gushed over the tiny Togepi. As she smiled so adoringly at it, the same light in her eyes as when she thanked him. Something sickly churned in his gut. It was foreign. Strange. No one had ever smiled like that at him. No one had ever thanked him like that. He had no response. No words. Not even a glare. Nothing came to him, even as she introduced herself – finally, as she’d put it – and her name rang in his ears.
Kotone.
He didn’t understand her. She was a wimp. A weakling. Someone who wore their heart on their sleeve, their emotions on their face. Yet, she had something he didn’t. And there was that light in her eyes; that spark. It was ever present. Never faltering, even as he scoffed when he found her on the ground, cradling her ankle in the darkness of a cave. Her Quilava beside her puffed the flame on its back higher, sending a warm glow across Kotone’s cheeks.
“Oh, Silver, thank goodness you’re here!” she sighed in relief. A smile settled on her face, the same one she always gave him when they met despite his curt, abrasive manner. And, it seemed, with every scoff and glare she would smile brighter. As if she were trying to outshine his darkness with her light.
It was blinding. Kotone was hard to look at sometimes. The smile on her face made his stomach churn, fluttering and giving him the urge to flee, to cross his arms or shove his hands in his pockets. It only made him glare harder, colder.
Which, in turn, made her laugh.
“Don’t look at me like that,” she scoffed lightly after laughing lightly at his glare. “Help me up!”
He stared, aghast, at her outstretched hand as it if were diseased. As if it weren’t the soft, warm hand of Kotone but some mangled, blotchy hand of a stranger. His stomach leapt. He clenched his jaw, huffed in exasperation at her, at himself, at snatched her hand, yanking her to her feet.
“Hey!” she cried, staggering forward. She tried, and failed, to balance on her one good foot and toppled forward, grabbing hold of Silver’s shoulders to keep herself from falling.
It was a mistake. All of it. Because, in that moment, Kotone ended up in Silver’s arms and his face burned as red as his hair. A startling crimson that burned and burned with the heat that coursed through his body as she pressed against his chest. She righted herself, not caring that she was mere inches from his face, and pouted.
“Geez! No need to be so rough!” she chided. Her hands hadn’t left his shoulders. Somehow, he couldn’t remember when or how, but his hands had ended up on her waist. A violent urge surged through him to push her away. He swallowed it down. Pushed it down into the pits of his churning stomach.
“…Silver? Are you okay?” Her voice came to him slowly, then all at once, and he realised he’d been staring. “Earth to Silver?”
Why did she have to say his name like that?
He huffed again and turned his face from hers, and grumbled something incoherent. It took mere minutes to help Kotone hobble to the entrance of the cave and then to the nearest Pokémon Centre, but it felt agonisingly long. As soon as she deposited herself on a chair he was gone. He didn’t want to hear her thanks. Didn’t want to hear her voice, see her smile, see that light in her eyes.
-
He shouldn’t have been surprised to find her in Team Rocket’s HQ in Mahogany town. It was her. She was nosy. Forced herself into other people’s issues, into other people’s lives.
When she saw him, her eyes widened. His glare sharpened as his heart skipped.
“Silver…?”
He had nothing to say. Nothing would come to him. He didn’t even know why he’d approached her in the first place, why he’d followed her down here. He’d seen her rush in after that dragon tamer with the Dragonite. The next thing he knew he was heading down those steps after them.
Silver shoved his hands forcefully into his pockets. “So… you’re messing with them again.” He huffed and turned his gaze from her. He itched to battle. To fight her again. To fight them. To prove he was strong enough. “You must really like Team Rocket.”
Her lips drew into a tight pout. “You know that’s not it. They’re forcing Magicarp to evolve! Someone has to stop them.”
Someone has to stop them.
Someone. Meaning her.
That fire in her eyes was back in full force. For a moment, it stole his breath away. It scorched him right to the core, destroying his desire to fight her. He realised then the source of the light, that fire, in her eyes.
It was her determination. Her courage.
It was her strength.
He’d only gone into Golden City’s radio tower after catching a glimpse of a sight that swallowed his heart. His stomach dropped as if lead weights sunk into his gut. Even in the black guise of a Team Rocket grunt, he recognised her. He recognised those pigtails, that bag she always had slung over her shoulder, the fire in her eyes as she cast a cautious glance behind her before entering the tower…
He was after her without a thought. Feet powering faster, faster, his heart lurching, throat burning as the automatic doors pulled open. The Team Rocket grunt at the stairs was greeting her. Bile rose up his throat. He stole forward, fuelled by anger, by shock, by whatever had a hold over his heart.
Why her?
That thought spun around in his mind, burned in his veins.
Why, of all people, her?
“What are you doing?!” His voice boomed, sounding foreign in his ears, filled with rage and confusion and emotion. Emotion that doubled when she flinched and turned her face away. She shrunk closer to the wall. “Kotone?” Her name came out quieter. As if there was a tiny, final sliver of hope left that it wasn’t her. But he caught her wince. He saw the way she drew herself up tighter.
No.
“You think you’re stronger now that you’ve joined them?” Speaking to her like this burned his throat, as if he’d drunk a pitcher of acid. It burned his lungs with every breath.
She didn’t answer. Didn’t move. She didn’t even look at him.
He barked a frail beat of laughter. Dry and painful. “I knew you were a wimp but I didn’t think you were this foolish.” The anger came back in the next breath when she glanced at him, when she met his eyes, her own full of light.
How could she still look at him like that?!
“You shouldn’t wear things like this! Take it off!” he roared, lunging forward and grabbing her collar. She yelped as he yanked her away from the stairwell, before the fabric tore. It ripped and tore and Silver was left hanging on to a flimsy piece of fabric, a gaping hole in Kotone’s uniform revealing her regular clothes beneath. He released his grip and stared. His anger, his confusion, the hurt, everything had doused like a bucket of cold water had dropped over his head.
He stared as the Team Rocket grunt blanched at Kotone and hurriedly challenged her to a battle, declaring that she wasn’t a member of Team Rocket. He stared as Kotone wiped the floor with the grunt. He stared when she turned to face him, slowly, peeling off the remains of the Team Rocket outfit. It fell to the floor in tatters.
He felt strangely calm, seeing her step out of the Team Rocket outfit. Seeing it on the floor, torn and in pieces.
Kotone sighed, brushing down her hair and replacing the Team Rocket hat with her own. “You ruined my plan, Silver. I was going to sneak in there pretending to be a member!”
Oh.
“Guess I scared you, huh?” she said lightly, pulling a gentle smile. “I know how much you hate them. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to defeat them!”
“What?” He could only gape. Only stare. He could barely process what she’d said.
“It’s pretty obvious. Your glare gets really intense whenever Team Rocket gets mentioned.”
That wasn’t why his heart had stopped.
“Whatever,” Silver huffed, turning away from her. “I’ll let you handle this.”
He left before he could hear her protest, making up an excuse that he had to find and defeat that Dragon Tamer.
Her words rang again and again in his mind.
‘Guess I scared you, huh?’
He didn’t understand why those words affected him so much until the next time they met.
He was impatient. After fighting his way through Victory Road, completely obliterating any competition and sending the trainers packing, Silver paced the tunnel by the exit. He knew she was coming. He saw her arrive at the reception gate and had beat her through it. There was only one entrance and one exit. She had to come through here.
But as the minutes ticked by, Silver’s heart began to pound incessantly in his ears. When she finally approached, covered in grime and dust, her knees scraped and bruised from the journey, he swallowed the breath of relief that surged in his lungs.
“Hold it.” Silver stood tall, shoving his hands in his pockets out of habit. “Are you going to challenge the Pokémon League?”
She smiled at him, a little curious, a little hopeful. Her fingers flexed, her smile excited. She was just as eager for a battle as he was. “Of course.”
“Victory Road is at its end, for sure. But did you notice? You didn’t see any real trainers on the day, did you?” His blood was pumping, an eager grin coming to his face. “Man, they were all spineless!”
The way her eyes widened with realisation made his pulse soar.
“Well, the fact that you’ve come this far means you’re not one of them. But your journey ends here.” Confidence in his tone, his grin, he brought forth a Pokéball. “Because… right here, right now… I will crush you!”
Without a doubt, she was a greater challenge than anyone he’d faced before, save for the Dragon Tamer. Just as he’d gotten stronger throughout his journey, so had she.
In the end, though, it was the same.
He lost. She won, and spouted praises for her team with a smile.
Silver returned his fainted Feraligatr into its Pokéball, his expression fallen. The silence of the cave descended over them.
“What you possess… what you lack… I’m beginning to understand.” Silver raised his eyes to her, finding that fire awaiting in her gaze. Her smile was soft, understanding. Patient.  “I haven’t given up on becoming the greatest trainer.”
He didn’t notice it then, but he’d said greatest, not strongest.
“I’m going to figure out why I can win… and when I do, I will challenge you. I’ll beat you down with all my power.”
Her smile brightened. For a split second, his heart leapt. “I’ll be waiting,” she said.
“Hmph.” He stole his eyes from her, swallowed down the strange heat on his face. “You keep at it until then.”
“I will,” she said. “And… I’m glad.”
That made him pause. “What?”
“Well…” her smile became shy, she nudge the dirt with her foot. Her voice soft, words slow, she continued. “I heard that a Pokémon raised by a bad person will become bad itself… but I know I don’t have to worry. I’ve seen just how much your Pokémon love you. So… I’m glad.”
He didn’t know where she’d gotten that idea but he couldn’t answer. Couldn’t deny it, couldn’t say anything as her smile stole his breath. It came to him, then, what she’d done. What they had between them, this strange relationship of theirs.
He understood why, for the first time, he reacted to her like this, if at all.
Somehow, she’d reached him.
She’d been the first one.
Kotone had touched his heart.

Touken/Tousaki Headcanons in Pokémon au
Sorry if people aren’t familiar with Pokémon but hopefully it’s still understandable!
(1) this au goes back to kuroneki era and both kaneki and touka are young Pokémon trainers
(2) Although kaneki takes very good care of his Pokémon team, they’re all pretty weak and and don’t often participate in battles against other trainers. His mother basically raised him to be a caregiver, not a fighter, and so kaneki can’t defend himself when older kids pick on him for easy wins.
(3) *side hc of kaneki’s beginner team: vulpix, dratini, treecko, and magikarp
(4) Touka on the other hand is one of the toughest trainers in their age group. She hardly loses a battle, and even though she has a reputation of pushing her Pokémon to their max, they stick with her because they’ve been together for a long time and trust her.
(5) *side hc of touka’s beginner team: absol, maril, quilava
(6) Touka is also known for helping weaker trainers when their opponents have an unfair advantage (i.e. hinami and yoriko), and so it doesn’t take long till touka crosses path with kaneki.
(7) Team rocket members try to steal a rare Pokémon that kaneki has (dratini), and he works with touka to win a battle against them that lets him keep his dratini.
(8) Kaneki realizes then that he’ll have to develop some battling skills if he wants to protect his team, and so he begs touka to let him join her on her journey and teach him how to become a better trianer.
(9) Touka refuses. She’s a lone wolf and bringing him along will slow her down and probably get him into problems he shouldn’t be a part of.
(10) Later on though, one of touka’s Pokémon becomes ill and luckily kaneki finds her (honestly he had been following her) and he helps her cure it.
(11) Touka then allows kaneki to accompany her and promises to teach him to battle as long as he attends to her Pokémon when they need it.
(12) At first, touka is tough on kaneki because that’s how she learned to be a trainer, but she eventually softens as she sees how gentle he is with Pokémon and maybe even attracted but would never admit it.
(13) Kaneki also learns about touka’s caring personality when he sees her strong bond with her Pokémon and how much she motivates them to be their best.
(14) Also, kaneki’s vulpix has a crush on touka’s absol
(15) They both become inspired by one another: Kaneki picks up books about battling and Pokémon types to become stronger while Touka takes interest on medical books that kaneki recommends to her. Eventually, this starts touka’s curiosity on Pokémon biology and it’s origin.
(16) *Side hc: along their journey they would meet other TG characters and some of them join them for a certain period of time until they reach their destination.
(17) It’s all going pretty well until kaneki and touka come across really strong team rocket members (ayato and yamori)
(18) *side hc: I definitely see ayato owning a charizard at this stage
(19) They get beaten up badly, but are impressed with kaneki’s team and steal his Pokémon. In the mess of it, they accidentally take kaneki too when he tries to save his team, leaving behind touka and her heavily burned Pokémon.
(20) So kaneki ends up at team rockets base and witnesses his Pokémon team go through excruciating torture as team rocket pumps them up to become stronger. Kaneki goes through intense stress because of his strong bond with his Pokémon and becomes shironeki as in the aogiri arc.
(21) While touka recovers her Pokémon, she gathers strong trainers she and kaneki met along the way to help her save kaneki and his Pokémon.
(22) After this arc is over and they’re finally together again, kaneki decides to disband from touka and form his own gang to become stronger. Just like canon, he doesn’t want touka to be tangled in this mess and have her Pokémon become injured again, and he feels like she’s gained enough knowledge to care for her team if they ever become sick again. Touka is furious but kaneki doesn’t budge and reminds her of her dream and how she shouldn’t through it away.
Timeskip to tousaki now!
(23) Kaneki has the sesame pudding hair (but he didn’t lose his memory) and uses sasaki haise as his “celebrity name” because he is now the Pokémon champion!
(24) *side hc of sasaki’s team: gyarados (can megaevolve), ninetails, sceptile (can megaevolve), dragonite, dusknoir
(25) *extra Pokémon in his pc that he sometimes uses: tyranitar, scolipede, nidoking, steelix, pidgeot, and hydreigon
(26) *side hc that urie, mutsuki, saiko, and shirazu are the elite four and their specialties are poison, grass, fairy, and flying (holy crap I can go on with this side hc but we’re focusing on touken/tousaki now)
(27) Meanwhile, Touka is an assistant training to be a professor because it became her dream to become one when she learned more about biology.
(28) side hc of touka’s team: absol (can megaevolve), lopunny, azumarill, and typhlosion
(29) Sasaki comes back to his old town where he and touka grew up because he wants to patch things up with her.
(30) News spread fast that the champion is in town, but Touka doesn’t hear about it because she’s busy doing research in her laboratory.
(31) Even though sasaki wants to find touka solo, the elite four tags along (kinda annoyingly) and he has no other choice but to bring them along with him to her lab.
(32) Sasaki arrives and surprises touka but she accidentally ruins her experiment from the shock - kaneki is back after not contacting her for 3 years and the elite four are there too
(33) But too soon, the shock turns into anger. First touka gets mad that he made her mess up her research, then about how he never contacted her after he left, and then the elite four being present when they have no business being there.
(34) Sasaki tries to explain to touka that he ran into a lot of trouble with people at the beginning and then he became really busy when he earned the champion title since he had to run the Pokémon league champion and attend interviews/events.
(35) *meanwhile, saiko, urie, and shirazu are entertaining themselves with the Pokémon at the lab while mutsuki listens on the argument between sasaki and touka
(36) Things calm down a bit though when sasaki’s ninetails and touka’s absol have a happy reunion as oppose to their trainers. Sometimes a Pokémon’s actions are reflective of their trainers’ feelings and so they remain silent and watch them interact and play.
(37) “You know… I thought about you a lot,” sasaki says
(38) Touka sighs and admits that she’s seen all of his televised battles and knew that sasaki was kaneki the first time she saw him
(39) Sasaki starts asking questions about her research and that’s when touka gets excited and goes on about what she’s been studying
(41) Mutsuki sees the way that they look at each other and freaks out, so he sets out his venusaur to poison the little Pokémon in touka’s lab and calls her over
(41) “Ummm… Kirishima-san, I think one of the Pokémon has sprayed poison powder and has gotten all of your subjects sick,” acting all innocent
(42) Touka is quick to attend them and sasaki helps too, but decides he should probably come back another day so that he doesn’t continue to screw up touka’s research
(43) She insists that he stays longer though and playfully asks him to battle her, one on one, which gets most of the elite four’s approval.
(44) Touka knows she’s gonna lose anyways, but she just wants to see for herself how much he and his Pokémon have approved and show off her absol’s ability to megaevolve (he gets two wings)
(45) They battle and touka is very impressed as sasaki proves his title as Pokémon champion in their region.
(46) Honestly, I didn’t think much of what happens afterwards haha but that sasaki starts sending his Pokémon to touka to deliver love letters/poems that he writes. Touka always gives them treats as a thank you and sends them back to him with a card of her kiss stain and a little present for one of his Pokémon
Now that I’ve stopped here, I feel like I should’ve been more creative with this but oh well. It’s an au I’ve had for awhile and now I finally decided to share it :) Thanks for creating this blog for touken fans!
mod K:
Oh my god, as one pokemon nerd to another, i just want to say thank you! Thank you for sharing these awesome headcanons!!!

Pokémon Ranger!BNHA AU (1/?)
“[Pokémon Rangers] are not Pokémon Trainers, as their goals and methods for interacting with Pokémon are very different. They harness the power of certain Pokémon and utilize them to help defend nature.”
|Pokémon Ranger!BNHA AU (2/?)|
Midoriya Izuku / Riolu
They met very recently, before the start of Ranger School – Midoriya is still learning how to interact with Riolu without his Partner Pokemon accidentally hurting him
Riolu chose Midoriya because he jumped in to try to save Riolu from a rampaging Pokemon and was able to buy enough time for All Might to show up
Midoriya adores Riolu; unlike everyone else, he’s never had a Partner Pokemon – Riolu is very slowly getting used to craving the affection
Whenever Midoriya cries (read: daily), Riolu alternates between trying to comfort him and trying to attack anyone that is getting close
Riolu thinks that Midoriya’s ridiculous green poofball hair is the best place to lay on when napping so when Midoriya is taking notes or homework, Riolu will curl up into a ball and balance on his head
Uraraka Ochako / Clefairy
Uraraka found baby Cleffa near her parents’ construction sites when she was young – Cleffa had gotten lost and didn’t know how to get back to the near mountain
With permission from her parents, Uraraka hiked all the way up the mountain to try to return Cleffa back to her family only to find that Cleffa wanted to stay with her
Cleffa evolved into Clefairy to one night, sitting next to Uraraka under the moon as she told Cleffa about how she wants to become a Pokemon Ranger for her parents’ comfort
After getting their asses handed to them by Bakugou and Quilava in a Capture Competition, Uraraka and Clefairy have been trying to learn more Fighting moves
Iida Tenya / Ninjask
Iida comes from a family of Rangers that utilize Speed Pokemon as Partners – a Nincada egg was given to him by his brother Tensei
Iida 100% cried when Nincada hatched and tried walking on him – Ninjask has long since learned to relocate to Iida’s back when he starts gesturing
When Nincada evolved, both a Ninjask and a Shedinja appeared; Shedinja liked following Tensei around because he’s much more chill – after Ranger Killer Stain, Shedinja can’t be found
When Ninjask is angry with Iida, which is rare, Ninjask will be a petty shit and either buzz directly in Iida’s face or continuously steal his glasses or Stylus and fly off with them
Bakugou Katsuki / Quilava
Bakugou found Cyndaquil about to take on two Geodudes; to his amazement, Cyndaquil won, but fainted quickly after – Bakugou relentlessly treated Cyndaquil himself for two weeks straight
Bakugou used to carry Cyndaquil in his arms, but when Cyndaquil evolved, Bakugou had to stop because Quilava was too hot; that doesn’t stop Bakugou from trying every once in a while though
Together, Bakugou and Cyndaquil are an extremely strong Ranger team; they just don’t give a shit about all of the rules and regulations
Quilava has leftover guilt from the way that Midoriya was treated, but knows that Bakugou isn’t ready to confront the past and is waiting for the right time to push
Todoroki Shouto / Glaceon & Flareon
Most Rangers are allowed only one Partner Pokemon at a time, but at his father’s (Top Ranger Endeavor) insistence, Todoroki got two Eevees – everyone thinks Todoroki is a special snowflake
F!Eevee should’ve evolved first, since Endeavor had given Todoroki a Fire Stone, but Todoroki neglected F!Eevee out of spite for his father and spent all of his time finding a nearby Ice Rock so that G!Eevee could evolve
After Midoriya and Riolu had beat Todoroki and Glaceon at a Capture competition, Midoriya called Todoroki the fuck out on half-assing his Partnership with F!Eevee
Reluctantly inspired, Todoroki evolved F!Eevee right then and there into Flareon and beat Midoriya and Riolu in a rematch
Glaceon and Flareon have almost switched personalities from their appearances; Glaceon is competitive and loud, confident from being given attention and Flareon is reserved and quiet, meek from being neglected for so long; Todoroki is valiantly trying to right his wrongs
Asui Tsuyu / Frogadier
Asui doesn’t actually remember a time where Frogadier wasn’t at her side; apparently an egg mysteriously showed up when her mother announced her pregnancy and it hatched right alongside Asui’s birth
The Asui family runs the region’s Daycare, so Asui and Frogadier know pretty much everyone and are constantly asked why they want to become Rangers – Asui wants to have something for herself because she has so much to take care of
Just as Asui takes care of her younger siblings, Frogadier assists with the Pokemon dropped off at the Daycare; they were very eager to start Ranger School to be around friends for a change
Frogadier is actually pretty close to evolving into Gredinja since they’ve been together for so long but both Asui and Frogadier are choosing to hold off for the time being
Kirishima Eijirou / Lycanroc
Kirishima’s parents gave him Rockruff when he was younger; Kirishima is so used to playing rough with his Partner Pokemon that his pain toleration is through the roof
Rockruff gave him the scar he has on his left eye and constantly tried to “heal” it by licking it but Rockruff’s tongue is literal sandpaper, sorry pupper it is NOT helping
Everyone was expecting Rockruff to evolve into Midday Form so Kirishima dyed his hair red to match Midnight Form so Lycanroc didn’t feel out-of-place
Make no mistake, Lycanroc would willingly die for Kirishima, and has tried before when there was serious danger, the only thing that Kirishima calls “unmanly” if only because he always cries for days when Lycanroc tries
Kaminari Denki / Pikachu
Kaminari and Pichu met because Pichu tried to steal a young Kaminari’s lunch and Kaminari, the dumbass, chased Pichu for a while day, eventually letting Pichu have the food after seeing how exhausted Pichu was
Kaminari wanted to become a Pokemon Ranger because he likes the excitement but is concerned because Pichu would absolutely not take no for an answer on being his Partner Pokemon but also doesn’t know how to not shortcircuit in a Capture
Pichu actually evolved during the Ranger Entrance Exam because Kaminari was freaking out and needed help; Pikachu likes whacking Kaminari with its tail
Pikachu still on occasion shortcircuits when pushed to the limits, but Kaminari always takes the best care of his confused Partner
Yaoyorozu Momo / Ditto
When Yaoyorozu first befriended Ditto, Ditto was masquerading as an Eevee – Ditto kept up the appearance, scared that Yaoyorozu wouldn’t want to be friends if she knew the truth, but when Ditto collapsed from overexertion, Yaoyorozu nursed Ditto and said she knew but she was waiting for Ditto to become comfortable with her
Everyone told her that she could never become a Pokemon Ranger with a Ditto as a Partner; she saw that and raised them getting into Ranger School on recommendation
Yaoyorozu and Ditto are one of the most powerful Pokemon Ranger teams in the school because of how versatile Ditto is at assisting in Captures, and Yaoyorozu stops at nothing to make sure Ditto knows how proud she is
Ditto’s favorite place to be on Yaoyorozu is her legs so that if anyone is trying to cause shit like flipping her skirt, Ditto can put a stop to that right fucking quick
Tokoyami Fumikage / Murkrow
Tokoyami doesn’t know why Murkrow started following him around when he was younger; one day, he suddenly had a shadow following him
It took years for Murkrow to get used to the nickname Dark Shadow, but for the kid that had put that Murkrow egg back into the nest years ago, there’s little Murkrow wouldn’t do, even becoming a Partner Pokemon to an up-and-coming Ranger
Murkrow laughed for days when Tokoyami started to wear that choker of his; Murkrow stopped laughing when Tokoyami got a matching one for Partner Pokemon that was designed to assist in Captures
Murkrow absolutely hates light, so more often than not Tokoyami isn’t wearing his Ranger School jacket because he’s using it to create shade for Murkrow; Murkrow in turn keeps Tokoyami’s neck warm during the winters
I’ve always loved Pokemon so I know that I’m really into a series when I start making a Pokemon AU. Message me if you have any other headcanons! Pictures are free to use if anyone wants them.

Silver’s Skater Girl Chapter 6:  Monks, Scares, and Even a Kidnapping
Here's the Disclaimer!
*Pokes Silver with a long stick*
gothchic6: Come on, Silver, do the Disclaimer.
Silver: Go away, you irritating Fanfiction writer with no life.
gothchic6: Hey, I do too have a life! Here, let me show you… Oh, wait, he's right, I don't have a life… Hey, who stole my life?!
Silver: Maybe if you'd socialize more, and stop using the Internet as often, you would have a life.
gothchic6: What would you know about socializing?!
*gothchic6 and Silver start arguing loudly*
Calypso: Hey, it's my job to fight with Silver! Oh well, while I'm over here, I might as well do the Disclaimer. gothchic6 does not own Pokémon and does not get anything for writing this. She does own her OCs like JC and Monica. She technically owns me, but it's a bunch of bullcrap.
gothchic6: Hey!
***
Monks, Scares, and Even a Kidnapping:
Sprout Tower is my next objective.
When you're far away from Sprout Tower, it only looks like a puny little baby tower, but when you get up close, it is freaking gigantic! I walk into the large building, where a few monks and an old lady are hanging out.
"I heard people come here to train their Pokémon. Is that true?"
The monk closest to the stairs nods and replies, "Yes, child, it is. Go up these stairs, and there will be other monks willing to do battle with you."
Anger slowly burns up inside me at being called a child. That's what Gran always called me, that miserable old hag. I hate when old people do that, it's so annoying; I'm seventeen for crying out loud, I'm almost an adult!
"Watch who you call a child, you old geezer."
The monk chuckles, but doesn't reply as I make my way past him, and up the stairs.
I address Spirit, who is still on my shoulder.
"Hey, look, I know I said I wanted to train you, but I think Cyndi needs a bit more training than you do at the moment. You can stay on my shoulder though, if you want, and do whatever Murkrows do when they're not battling for their awesome trainer. Cool?"
Spirit rolls her eyes, but nods anyways. I let out Cyndi, who is ecstatic to be out of her Pokéball.
"Okay, Cyndi, it's time for some training. We're in Sprout Tower, so guess what kind of Pokémon we're mostly likely going to be fighting? That's right: Bellsprout! Your firepower will kill them in one hit, so it's easy training. But watch out, because I bet that some of the monks have more than just Bellsprout."
Cyndi nods, excited at the prospect of setting other Pokémon on fire. And I thought she wasn't violent. Eh, it's fine as long as she only does it to opponents, mean people, or people trying to kill us.
So Cyndi, Spirit and I climb the tower, setting Bellsprouts on fire, and gaining experience. While Cyndi battles, Spirit gives her advice or teases Cyndi about her fire not being hot enough. Cyndi responds by sending a small fireball towards Spirit, who dodges it. The fireball hits the wooden wall, leaving a small hole that goes to the outside. Thankfully, the nearest monk is more than 15 feet away, and can't see over here.
"Oops… well, they won't notice it until later, right?"
Spirit and Cyndi snicker. We quickly make it up to the highest floor, where Cyndi burns the first two monks. We are in the middle of beating up the third, when he sends out his second Pokémon.
"I knew it, I so fucking knew it. See, Cyndi, I knew it wouldn't just be Bellsprout", I mutter as I study the owl-like Pokémon in front of me. Hoothoot. They're good when they're on your side, otherwise, not so much.
"Cyndi, let's get this done fast, use Ember!"
"Hoothoot, dodge it, and use Hypnosis!"
The Ember hits the Hoothoot full force, but it's not enough to knock it out. Unfortunately for me, the Hypnosis hits Cyndi dead on.
"Cyndi, it's not the time for napping, come on! I know you can do it!"
The monk just shakes his head and orders his Hoothoot to use Tackle on Cyndi, which it does. Cyndi now looks like she's fighting off a terrible nightmare. I'm panicking, and even Spirit is worried now.
"Come on, Cyndi, if you wake up, I'll buy you those Cheri Berries you like so much!"
Of course the mention of food instantly gets Cyndi's attention, and she awakens.
"Now, use your Quick Attack!"
In a flash, Cyndi attacks the Hoothoot, knocking it out.
"Yay, Cyndi!"
Cyndi blushes in pride. Suddenly, I hear a familiar voice coming from the back of the room. Cyndi, Spirit, and I walk over to see what's going on. The owner of the voice is that asshole who stole Elm's Totodile, what was his name? Oh yeah, Silver.
I'm watching Silver talk to the Elder from behind the big pillar. I can hear what the Elder is saying to him.
"You've shown us what you've got, and it is indeed good. Take this Technical Machine. However, you treat your Pokémon far too harshly. Remember, Pokémon are not tools of war…"
I shift behind the pillar, silently trying to keep from laughing, but botch it up when a snort comes out. Silver apparently hears me, and I'm forced to come out of hiding. He hastily stomps towards me, an annoyed look on his face. He leans against the pillar casually as his piercing steely eyes stare me down. Then, he speaks.
"… …Humph! He calls himself the Elder, but he was no match for me. Sure enough, those who lecture how you should be "nice" to Pokémon… They cannot defeat me. All I care about are strong Pokémon that win every time. The rest of them don't mean anything to me."
He looks down at Cyndi, a sneer etched on his sharp face. "That goes for your wimpy Cyndaquil", he glances at Spirit, "and your stupid Murkrow, too."
Cyndi and Spirit growl in response to Silver's insults. I can feel a fit of rage coming on… He continues his tirade.
"What can you and your puny Pokémon accomplish, anyway? I'll be the strongest Pokémon Trainer ever. I'll do whatever it takes, especially if it means beating you down."
I am about to break, but Cyndi is far beyond me in the anger department. She begins to snarl, a look of fury on her normally adorable face. Silver just looks down on her with a mock-worried expression.
"Aww, what is the tiny little Cyndaquil going to do about it?"
I point to Silver, "Get him, Cyndi! Set his ass on fire!"
Cyndi suddenly erupts in a bright white light. Her body becomes longer, her eyes become red, and that's when I realize that she's evolving.
The white light disappears as Cyndi roars a different name, "Quilava!"
I break out into cheers, "Oh my God, Cyndi, you evolved!"
Silver seems fazed by Cyndi's evolution, but quickly snaps out of it. In a matter of seconds, he's back to berating us again.
"So what if your Cyndaquil evolved into a Quilava? It's still a weak, puny Pokémon. All of yours are. If you think I'm going to let a wimp like you keep me from my goals, then keep dreaming."
He goes to walk away, when I yell out to him, "Hey, asshole!"
He stops walking, his body becoming rigid at the insult I just threw at him.
"Just remember, Cyndi and Spirit here are gunning for you. Cyndi's anger towards you is what pushed her over the edge, and made her evolve. I'd watch your back. Oh, and if you don't treat your Pokémon right, they're going to be pissed at you. That Totodile of yours is small now, but he's gonna grow bigger. And when he does, you might want to watch your mouth, or you could become his next snack. Just remember that."
Silver turns around to face me again, and his mouth is in a tight line.
"I think I'll take my chances." Then he uses an escape rope to get out of the tower.
Spirit and Cyndi are staring at me, grins on their faces.
"You guys were pissed off a minute ago, what changed to make you happy?"
"Murkrow Murk Murkrow. Krow Murkrow (That was an awesome comeback you came up with. I wouldn't be able to pull that off)", Spirit explains.
"Quil. Quilava, Lava Quilava. Lava Lava Quil, Quilava Lava Quilava (Yeah. And you know what, I think you're right about Totodile. He was always an ass back at the Lab, I wouldn't put it past him to attack his trainer if he was really mad)", Cyndi adds.
I laugh, and end up snorting, which makes them laugh.
We walk up to the last monk, who looks much older than the other monks. He is staring at me intently, as if he is trying figure me out.
"Are the you the last monk in this joint?"
"Yes, I am Elder Li. I assume you are here to battle, Miss…?"
"It's Calypso, and you assume correctly."
"Well, Calypso, show me the bond you and your Pokémon share. Bellsprout, go forth into battle!"
So Cyndi uses her Ember attack to take out the Elder's two Bellsprouts. Then, he sends out his last Pokémon, a…
"Hoothoot", I mutter darkly. Of course he has to have a Hoothoot. Cyndi gazes at me with a determined expression.
"Cyndi, use your Ember attack!"
Cyndi shoots a ball of fire at the Hoothoot, who tries to hop away, but gets hit in the wing.
"Hoothoot, use Hypnosis!"
"Cyndi, avoid Hypnosis with everything you've got, then use Quick Attack!"
Cyndi manages to avoid Hypnosis, but her Quick Attack doesn't work out so well, and she misses.
"Hoothoot, use Tackle on Quilava's unprotected side!"
Hoothoot does just that, and hits Cyndi where she can't defend herself from; her right hind leg. Cyndi gets hit, but quickly turns around to face the Hoothoot again.
"Cyndi, use Ember before it gets too far away!"
Cyndi shoots out another fireball, but instead of being red, the fire is blue, making it that much more powerful. It hits Hoothoot directly, knocking it out.
Elder Li recalls his fallen Hoothoot, and walks up to me, a CD-like thing in his hands.
"Calypso, that battle was amazing. I enjoyed watching you and your Pokémon working in harmony together. Here is TM70 Flash. It lowers the opponent's accuracy, and can be used to illuminate caves. If I may make a suggestion, teaching a Bellsprout this move would be beneficial…"
"Thanks, Elder Li. I'm gonna go back to the Pokémon Center for a rest, and hopefully, some food. These guys deserve it."
With that, I use an escape rope I found on the floor to get out of this tower.
*Three Hours Later*
Back at the Pokémon Center, I've booked a room for the night, which thankfully I don't have to share with anyone else. I used the some of the money I received from defeating all of the trainers I've battled to buy some food from the food truck that finally came in around two hours ago.
I'm munching on some chips and salsa, while Cyndi, Spirit, and Forest are happily eating the Pokémon food I bought for them. Dusk, however, is staring at the food blankly, and then gives me a look as if to say, "What the heck is this shit?"
"What, you don't like Pokémon food?"
Dusk shakes her head, and replies, "Misdreavus Misdrea Mis (I receive nourishment from the fear of others)."
I turn to gape at her, my eyebrows rising. "Are you kidding me? What am I supposed to do, go to the Pokémart and ask for the 'Fear' flavored Pokémon food?"
Dusk narrows her eyes at me. "Misss, Misdreavus Dreavus Mis. Misdreavus (Nooo, check your Pokédex entry on me. You'll see)."
"Okay", I say as I take out the red Encyclopedia device.
The Pokédex begins to speak in an annoying computer-generated voice as I click on Misdreavus's entry.
"Misdreavus, the Screech Pokémon. Misdreavus feed off of the fear of others. They like to frighten people by randomly screaming and pulling people's hair, and then absorbing the fear with the orbs around their necks."
"So, you were telling truth. What do you want to do, go around the town and scare the crap out of people", I ask Dusk.
Dusk grins, and replies, "Misdreavus (Precisely)."
I shrug. "Hey, Cyndi, Spirit, and Forest! Me and Dusk are gonna go scare the shit out of some people! We'll be back in a little bit. While we're gone, guard the room so no one steals you guys or any of my stuff. If we're not back by around three in the morning, tell Nurse Joy that I've gone missing. Okay?" All three nod.
I gesture for Dusk to follow me out of the window, and over to the woods by the Pokémon Center. It's dark already, so when we do pop out and scare people, they won't be able to see us coming.
We hide behind some trees, waiting for our first victim. Soon, a young kid around 11 or 12 walks by the trees we're hiding behind. Dusk flies out, attaches herself to the boy's red cap, and screams. The boy shrieks with terror, and he runs around, trying to dislodge whatever he thinks is on his hat. Dusk suddenly lets go, and the boy runs screaming into the distance. Dusk floats back over to me, a look of delight in her red eyes. We glance at each other for a moment before bursting out in laughter.
I wipe a tear from my eye. "Nice one, Dusk. How much fear does that translate into?"
"Misdreavus. Misdreavus Mis Drea Misdreavus (Thanks. It's like how filling a chicken breast is to a human)."
"So, probably a couple more scares like that, and you'll be good?"
Dusk nods. So, Dusk and I scare a few more people, the most memorable being an old lady that when we popped out, screamed something about us being the devil's children, and threw her cane at us, which hit me in the gut. So, now I have a cane that doesn't belong to me, a bruise most likely forming on my stomach, and an old lady nowhere in sight. Great. Well, she's not getting her cane back, at any rate.
It's around midnight when Dusk and I decide to go back to the Pokémon Center. We are walking through the woods, when suddenly, strong arms grab me from behind, attempting to drag me to who knows where. One hand goes over my mouth, so I bite it, while I struggle to free myself by kicking and punching. The person attempting to restrain me curses, pulls out a white cloth, and holds it over my mouth and nose. I stupidly try to breathe in, and my nose fills with an intoxicating scent that slowly makes me pass out. Before everything goes black, I can see the silhouette of a Pokémon attacking Dusk, and restraining her as well. The worst part is, I can't do anything to prevent it. I'm sorry, Dusk.
I wake up to cold water being thrown on me. I sputter, and try to shake off any excess water on my face. I open my eyes and look up, only to see Silver and his Totodile. Haha, I guess it hasn't evolved yet. I gaze in all directions, trying to spot Dusk, only to see that a Gastly and a Zubat, that probably belong to Silver, are holding her down on the ground. I try to get up to help her, but I find that I've been tied up.
"Dusk", I call out to her, worry in my tone. "Dreavus Mis Misdreavus. Misdreavus Dreavus, Misdreavus (I'm alright, Calypso. They're just restraining me, nothing more)", she responds.
"Oh thank God she's not hurt", I exclaim with relief. I then glare back up at Silver, who has been watching Dusk and I speak with interest.
"How can you understand your Pokémon's speech? When mine talk to me, it's as if we're playing charades."
I scoff, and turn my head away. "As if I'm going to tell you. And what the heck is with you kidnapping us? That's just creepy, dude. Although, I am impressed that you managed to grab me and tie me up. Normally if someone attempted that, they'd get the shit beat out of them."
Silver glares at me for a few more moments before pulling out a piece of paper, holding it in front of my face, and quietly asking, "Why?"
I examine the paper before realizing that it's a wanted poster for Silver. Only thing is, the name next to the picture says Gold, and the picture is not exactly accurate. From far away, the picture mostly looks like Silver, but when you look up close, there are many little flaws that distinguish the picture from the real Silver.
First of all, the bright red hair isn't long enough. Silver's hair reaches down to his shoulders, but in the picture, it only falls to below the ears. Also, Silver's eyes are a darker silver than the pictures, and he's more built in real life. Oh, and in the picture, the black jacket is longer, and the pants are a bit tighter, so it looks like he's wearing a dress and leggings.
My head rises to match his determined, yet somewhat confused gaze. "Why what", I question him, not really knowing what he wants me to tell him.
His teeth clench, and he pulls the poster back. Then he lowers himself until his face is around 4 inches away from mine. He scowls, and asks menacingly, "Why didn't you rat me out?"
I narrow my eyes at him. "You don't even know if I was the one who told the police about you. Why are you asking me about this?"
He scoffs. "Please, don't give me that crap. I saw Elm give you that starter Pokémon. He gave you his phone number, and I can almost bet that he called you when one of his precious Pokémon went missing. That's why you were heading towards New Bark Town when you ran into me. I was so stupid to have accidently dropped my Trainer Card like I did. Then, to my horrible luck, you found it, and picked it up. You probably saw a lot before I succeeded in getting it back from you. You have to at least know my real name, if not more. So, when you got back to Elm's Lab, the police were there. I know, because I heard them coming. Do you know how I know that you were the one to give them details about me?"
I roll my eyes, and he continues. "Elm only saw the back of me before I jumped out of the window, and into Route 29. He couldn't have known that I have silver eyes, or what the front of my jacket looks like, even if the length is messed up. I was long out of sight by the time the police got there, so they couldn't identify me. I snuck around Route 29, letting no one spot me until you ran into me at the Cherrygrove City limits. It had to be you who gave them the information, there was no one else who fully saw me. So don't try to give me some cock-and-bull story about how it wasn't you who did it."
I raise my eyebrows at his statement. Then, I smile, which fazes him.
"What are you smiling for? I have you tied up, and soaking wet, and yet, you look like I just gave you chocolate."
I snort. "Okay, you got me. I did give the police details about who stole the Totodile from Professor Elm's Lab. See, I admitted it. Happy?"
Silver glowers at me heatedly, and replies, "No. Why did you give the police fake information about me? Why not just rat me out? I'd think you of all people would want to see my Pokémon get taken away from me, and see me get thrown into jail."
"Nah. Seeing your Pokémon being taken away from you isn't my cup of tea. Besides, from what I've seen, you're not a bad trainer, when it comes to training methods, at least. All three of your Pokémon look healthy enough, so I assume you feed them at least once a day. The only thing that really bugs me about you is that you treat your Pokémon like they are slaves or tools. You've got to treat them better, or they'll grow up to hate you."
Silver rolls his eyes. "You think I haven't heard that before? If you treat Pokémon like they're your friends, they'll go soft on you. They slack off because they know you won't yell at them for it. I'm going to be the strongest trainer there ever is, and being nice to my Pokémon isn't going to help that. So quit lecturing me about it, and tell me the real reason you didn't rat me out."
"Make me, you asshole."
He sends a death glare at me, and then orders his Totodile to use Water Gun on me. Now, I'm completely soaked, and it's slowly getting colder outside. If I don't get out of these wet clothes soon, I'll freeze to death.
"Okay, okay. The reason I didn't snitch is because if I did, I'd be a hypocrite. And I'd hate it if I was called a hypocrite. Satisfied?"
"Why, do you steal Pokémon and other things, too? That would make you just as bad as me."
I scoff. "That's classified, and I'm not as bad as you because I treat my Pokémon nicely. Now, would you let me go already? It's freaking cold out here, and I'm in soaking wet clothes."
Silver says nothing, but pulls out a switchblade, and cuts me free. I stare at the weapon in his hand. It's really long.
"What's that thing for, skewering Pokémon that don't listen or aren't powerful enough for you?"
I know I shouldn't be provoking a guy who has a long knife in his hand, but I can't help myself.
His face flushes red, and it seems like he wants to attack me, but he just gives an angry sigh, and pockets the switchblade.
"I'm not wasting my time on wimps like you again. Gastly, Zubat, let the Misdreavus go. We're done here."
He walks into a deeper part of the woods, his three Pokémon following him from behind. Soon, he disappears into the distance.
I glance towards Dusk, who has just regain her bearings. "Well, that went well", I say with a straight face. Dusk just shakes her head, and if she had hands, she'd be holding her head. I check the Pokégear, and it's already two in the morning!
"Holy shit, Dusk! We need to get back to the Pokémon Center if we want any sleep for tomorrow! Come on!"
We run to the back of the Pokémon Center, climb through the window, and into our room. All three Pokémon are laying, fast asleep. I yawn, and get into my bed, where I join them in dreamless sleep.
That chapter was so fun to write! Calypso is such a brat, and Silver is a jerk, so the dialogue between them is awesome to write.
