That's it. That's the list. 7 panels. Not a single double spread or even a full-page image. Actually, there is no panel where all their faces are visible.

I don't think there is any other prominent group / dynamic in the manga that got an endgame of nothing but low-quality, tiny panels without a piece of art emphasizing them as a unit. It's just really weird... That after more than a decade, the family is finally together, and that moment after the long build-up doesn't get a single "impact" art. A framing that shows that something big happened here.

And if this is about Shouto "becoming who he is meant to be" why is there no double spread or a big page art to emphasize it?

I'm not sure if that last panel is supposed to be Enji's "father" moment - but it's certainly not framed like it. You need a magnifying glass to even see what's happening, in a chapter otherwise full of gorgeous art.

My party members! They love me! They have their own agendas and alliances!) #so of course a healthy portion of this AU is dedicated to them <3 #the Int skills go basically unchanged from DE. Psy as well (with changes to a few quirks in voice). #Fys skills though...well...wwx is in a different body! Those voices belong to Someone Else. #Esp electrochem (MXY in this AU also partied to near death. WWX is withdrawing and craving substances he's never even heard of before) #While I personally don't fully subscribe to Volition Jean I *do* see Volition Jiang Cheng. The voice of your Not Brother keeping you afloat #All three of these parallels make me unbelievably sad. They are also both purple. #trigun stampede #trigun #meryl stryfe #nicholas d wolfwood #vash the stampede #i cant even elaborate on this episode bc ive spent all day Thinking about it yesterday #and it made me Miserable #i just want to see vash have some autonomy again... #he is a little bit more on the quieter end for stampede as less angry about things but i dont think he's more of a coward in stampede #even though he was transported into his memories and saw and heard those terrible things from the kids and wolfwood #he was able to gather himself and keep going #his resilience has always been the strongest and also saddest thing about him #so it killed me irreversibly when he lost the one person who he could always look back to reliably #the fact knives couldnt even alter anything in rem's dialogue within those memories just stands for how strong her place is in vash's memory #and potentially knives just knows that would be too ooc of her to make in any Universe if she had something horrible. #man. I TALKED ABOUT THIS IN LIKE ALL 3 PLATFORMS.
