I accidentally sent a keysmash! I'm really sorry but I hope it can bring at least a laugh to you. I opened your askbox to make a consideration about TYK: I'm not sure if anyone has already talked about this, but I think Faraway Wanderers is a romcom with a wuxia subplot and not vice versa. I don't know how to articulate this more but I really feel like all the gruesome details make the romance humourous in a way (WWX and ZZS flirting often happens during very violent fights and the consequence is that you can't take neither the violence nor the romance very seriously) but also give depth to it thematically (the need of finding peace in one's own life as opposed to a lifetime of struggle and cruelty). It's like the wuxia setting is functional to the love story.

And thank you for bringing this up!! I have given it a bit of thought today, and I feel ready to respond now, haha.

First of all, it was great food for thought, and I personally think it's a great way to look at TYK.

There is definitely a play on genres within TYK, and I think that the wuxia-ness of the story is absolutely taking a backseat for the human relationships and dynamics to happen at the foreground. If anything, it initially does feel like an accessory or an artificial setting to put the characters in and let them do their thing while nearly ignoring most of the background plot during the story.

I also fully agree that there is a surprising lightness and a lot of humor in the way the story is presented; not only are WKX and ZZS quite funny, but the whole cast is often made fun of, turned into a joke--the LLJ (glazed armor) itself is a rather ridiculous McGuffin, and on top of that Priest really likes to tank her climaxes and emotional beats with either jokes or sudden events that both give whiplash and considerably defuse the tension (or outright turn the whole scene into a joke, LOL).

I think the twist I find in that is: WenZhou mostly deal with everything that happen in their lives with lightness because… it's what they are used to, it's maybe not that big of a deal, and it's also a way to not make it so serious when it threatens to be overwhelming. The extreme violence is normalcy, and it's that "casualness" that can suddenly make it jarring once recontextualized. The same way the wuxia genre is subverted in TYK (in the way the story doesn't follow the typical wuxia storyline, in the way some themes are turned on their heads), I'd argue that the romantic comedy genre is also subverted, and at times borders on…. tragedy, to be honest?

I feel like the latter part of the books, although some scenes like WKX's aborted confession (when he tells ZZS he'd like to spend the rest of his life with him, but then laughs it off like it was a joke, for the tone of the scene to then flip and be about the loss of WKX's parents); the scene where ZZS sings Li Sao, and many more later, and of course not to mention the entire last ark and extra 4---all of those passages send the message that actually, most of this was serious. In a way, those scenes, and the latter part, reframe the narrative to make that lightness serious, and as it turns out, the romance, the violence, all of that was serious and meant to be taken seriously.

The humor was there to cover for sorrow, frustration, disillusion, investment, and all of those more serious, deeper feelings. The ridiculous wuxia plot was no joke and was the core of WKX's entire life story. ZZS has a very serious backstory when it comes to attachement, to love, to commitment, and is going through a lot regarding his own ambitions, goals, and what living means to him, etc. On top of that, the wuxia story responds to Qi Ye's themes and storyline as well. So---the wuxia "subplot" is irrelevant until it becomes sadly relevant.

So to summarize… I almost want to say that it's a tragic love story set in a dramatic wuxia setting disguised as a romcom set in a setting of wuxia subversion, hahaha. Like you put it very well, actually; the way both genre are articulated around each other, and the way the romance and relationship between WenZhou take precedency over the wuxia narrative allows for it to be explored with depth.

I feel like the gradual deepening of seriousness is also to signify that, when people start mattering, when the characters care for each other, the events of the story start mattering in ways that they can't just be light and comical. The way the romantic comedy topes and the mockery of some wuxia archetypes only serve to amplify that and make it even stronger, more apparent, in contrast.

Anyway!!! Hahah thank you for raising those considerations and discussion points! I actually really wanted to engage properly and think about it thoroughly to the point I asked some people around to see what they thought and what they had to say as well. I really enjoyed it and I thought it was a great angle to go about the story. If you have anything you want to bounce off from this or feel like responding, I'd also be very, very pleased.

You and Elvis just got home from him being at the studio and doing interviews, which overwhelmed you a bit. The groups of people talking, asking many questions, and taking pictures or videos just sent you over the edge, making an uneasy feeling in your body. Even though you were both home, that feeling followed you.

You were usually good with the interviews and such, you were pretty used to it, especially after being with Elvis for so long now, but there were just those days where it left you feeling exhausted.

The loudness, all the voices, unknown faces, videos, and pictures just weren't what you were looking forward to today.

Elvis knew something was wrong with you all day but just didn't question you, especially seeing you were a bit snappy and frustrated. Which was unintentional, but the overwhelming feeling was getting too much and you didn't know how to control it anymore, so you were taking it out in anger.

"What's wrong, baby?" Elvis snapped you out of your thoughts, picking up food from his plate with his fork. You shook your head and sighed, "Nothing." You mumbled, playing with the food on your plate.

Elvis decided to make one of the few foods he knew how to cook, seeing you were having a rough day and wanting to treat you. You loved the food he made; it was always made with the right amount of flavor and love.

"You been.. not yourself all day. Ya’ worryin’ me." He whispered the last part, grabbing your hand that was fidgeting with the fork. You slightly relaxed at his touch, finally deciding to open up to him.

"It's just this.. weird feeling I have in my body." You explain to him. He nods and hums, "Is it good or bad?" He takes a sip of his drink. "I-I don't know... bad?" You turn and look at him. He doesn't say anything and rubs his chin, taking a deep breath. "I just think today overwhelmed me, Elvis." You tell him.

Elvis sadly sighs and lets go of your hand, "Lemme clean up and we'll talk about it, but only if you're comfortable, honey." Elvis felt guilty, mad at himself for having you come along with him all day. He knew the overwhelming and icky feeling you had, so he wanted to help you through it. He picked yours and his dishes from the dinner table and set them in the kitchen sink.

"Let's go to the sofa." He took your hand and led you to the living room, where you both sat down on the couch. You both sat in silence for a couple seconds, Elvis not wanting to push it and you not knowing how to start off.

"I know how you feel, darlin'." He whispered, trying to make you feel more comfortable by opening up, and you turned your head to watch him as he spoke. "I-I-Well, y'know, when I first started off, I was.. scared?" He explained. "It was a whole new world to me; I was young and didn't really know what to expect. All the crowds, people, pictures, and stuff overwhelmed me." He softly smiled at you.

You started easing down, but the feeling was still in you. "Yeah, I guess the interviews and people really sent me over the edge a bit today." You chuckled a bit, feeling better knowing that Elvis knew how you felt. He smiled at you and nodded, "Yea, it can be a bit much. Still till this day, I get that feeling." He shrugged his shoulders a bit.

You looked down at the floor, "I just feel like I'm being judged, y'know? I can't make a wrong move or something cause then it'll be a huge scandal or something." You laugh, realizing how ridiculous you might sound. He hummed, "Yup, just the way I feel, but I've learned to accept the fact that not everyone's going to like me or the things I may say or do." He agreed. "Cause I sure as hell ain't like everybody." He laughs, causing you to shake your head and giggle.

"Come on." He grabs your shoulders and pulls you back next to him. You lean into his side, resting the side of your face against his chest. "Don't pay attention to what those negative people have to say, cause deep down inside, all that hate and negativity just roots from something inside of them." You nod your head and look up at him, and he looks down at you.

"Promise me, you won't let nothin' them folks gotta say about you bother you, baby." He boops your nose, and you smile. "I promise." You nod. He pulls out his pinkie and raises his eyebrows. "Promise?" You shake your head and grin. "Promise." You hook your pinkie finger around his tightly before letting go. You both laugh at the childish gesture, but he's happy to see a big, cheeky smile on you.

"There's my pretty lil girl." He grabs you and straddles you over his lap. His hand cups your face and squeezes your cheeks, pulling you in for a kiss as you giggle. You lay your hands flat on his chest, making sure to hold your balance. He gives you a big kiss on the lips and laughs before letting go of your cheeks.

You rub your cheeks, caressing the soreness from how tight he squeezed them. He laughs while watching you frown and rubs your cheeks. "Oh, I'm so sorry, baby!" He coos, pulling your hands away from your cheeks and placing soft, gentle kisses on your sore cheeks. You can't help but giggle and smile at his actions.

He grabs your wrist and pulls you into a tight hug. You wrap your arms around his neck and rest your face in the crook of his neck as his hand rubs up and down your back. "I love you, baby girl." He whispers in your ear. You smile, "I love you more." You hug him tighter. "Impossible." He whispers back.

Actors.. you would think they take their task very seriously. Sigh, well, watch them prove you wrong.

The moment you set a foot onto the set, you knew something was bound to happen. Sometimes you wondered if they took their roles a little bit too close to heart. On a good day, half of the cast members would arrive on time, and on a bad day? You didn't want to elaborate.

Your cast arrived just a few hours after a disaster occurred, literally. "Can you guys at least pretend to be on time, please?"

"Sorry y/n, we had to help Ran with his hair, he accidentally switched his hair dye with Rindou's." one of your cast members had said. It was Takashi. To say that you were at a loss of words was an understatement, you were sure you temporarily lost your non-vulgar vocabulary. Though, you didn't want to show it.

"So what you're trying to say is, that you guys are 2 hours late because you helped Ran with his hair, even though he will only be seen for like two seconds?" Your facial expression was unreadable and it slightly scared the man who plays the role of the little brother of Ran Haitani.

Don't get him wrong, he didn't fear for his life or anything, he knew you would and could never be overly strict with them but he still didn't like the way your voice changed its tone when you scolded them. Why? Because their fictional selves carry the same names as they do privately. Ran Haitani and Rindou Haitani? They're brothers in the show as much as they are brothers in real life. So they couldn't really ignore the sensation of you using their government names.

"I know that I told you guys to stop taking your roles to heart and that you should separate acting and real life but Ran, for the love of god, please learn from your fictional self and take care of your hair.." Frustrated, you felt frustrated. Was it evident in your voice? You hoped it was because you needed to prove a point here.

This time another voice spoke up, "Y/n, if you give me permission to shave his head the next time, I'm sure we'll never be late again!" "Haru you fucker, don't make it sound like it's my fault y'all are late all the time."

Now, how were you supposed to stay serious with these idiots? "Enough! Just make sure to work on your time management and Haitani, you might want to borrow Rin's glasses next time. You know? To avoid making the same mistake." And to make sure he understood where you were coming from, you stuck your tongue out at him before shooing him away.

Now, the good thing about being a regisseur is, that you get to decide which scenes get filmed first. Professional mode on and go. "Keisuke, Chifuyu, are you guys ready for your scene?" It didn't take long before both of them simultaneously answered with a giggly "Yes!"

Things were getting intense. Baji rested in Chifuyu's arms and the latter was crying his eyes out dramatically to portray the loss of a close friend. He looked so vulnerable, so hurt and desperate for Baji to stay awake, to stay alive but said man couldn't even move a single inch anymore. His last words have been spoken and soon followed a big trail of blood that ran out of his mouth, but wait, where was the blood?

"Cuuuuuuut!"

This time it wasn't you who complained, it was Chifuyu who took that role off your shoulders. "Keisuke you idiot, you weren't supposed to swallow the blood."

It was a sight to behold. Chifuyu scolding a not so dead Baji with almost dried fake tears decorating his cheeks. Only to find his supposed-to-be-super-dead friend laughing, moving his with fake blood tinted lips into a grin.

Yeah no, they were indeed not ready.

As for the others? They couldn't contain their laughter anymore, finding the mistake of their colleague and friend way too amusing to be able to stay serious any second longer.

Kazutora decided to voice out what everyone thought of. "Keisuke, if you were thirsty you could've said so. No need to drink our props." "Shut up Tora, you killed me!"

As if on cue, Shin butted in "Me too!"

"Keep it down old man, at least you get to play the role of the ghost Keisuke is going to see before he dies."

LITERALLY. like it is one thing to have a character change suddenly and drastically, perhaps even by surprise, but it's another thing entirely for that character to state how much they've changed because of personal reflection...and that personal reflection just...doesn't exist.

like i haven't actually watched season 5 (not subjecting myself to that lol) but going off of every other "brilliant" writing move the creators have pulled in the past, i'm certain they've pulled this "pivotal character moment" out of their asses. in fact, i am willing to bet my brand new pet baby chickens on it. Not once in the 4 seasons prior has Adrien shown a shred of guilt, regret or remorse for the way he mistreats people, especially Maribug.

now, i'm not saying characters can't change from bullies/harassers/Nice Guys (TM) to legitimately good people, it's been done plenty. but this kind of thing doesn't just happen. there's gotta be some kind of...prompt, a build up. something that sets the change in motion.

it can be over the long-haul, such as with Zuko in the Last Airbender. His change had been set in motion when he was branded a traitor, a whole season and a half before he made his final decision.

or it can be much shorter, less serious, such as with Jaune, in RWBY. Actually, Jaune is a pretty handy case because his issues were quite similar to Adrien's.

Jaune was also harassing a girl he liked. and, while it could have been handled better, he did stop and at least attempt to make amends. in a way. my memory of the scenario is a bit fuzzy after all this time, but i'm pretty sure he realised the girl he liked was interested in a different guy, and after a small kerfuffle between said girl and her fella, Jaune more or less shook some sense into the guy and moved on.

obviously, the whole thing could've been done a bit better, but for what it's worth, it's an effective character moment.

From what I've gathered? Adrien didn't really have a moment. he's just like: "damn, that was crazy. Anyway." it's so soo frustrating because they literally had all the material they needed!

Adrien has spent the whole show being fawned over and pawed at by the likes of Chloe and Lila. Adrien has also spent most of the show pawing at and fawning over Ladybug. This right here! That is all you needed! Just one single moment of "hang on, I don't like it when Chloe does this to me. Maybe Ladybug doesn't like it either". Just ONCE! One single tiny itty bitty thought comparing his feelings to Maribug's. That is all we needed!

Just a teensy weensy bit of introspection and compassion. But no! That's too hard for a team of professional writers to manage *rolls eyes so hard i fall over* I am honestly blown away by how pathetic this whole situation is.

Hello lovely people on my screen! I've been getting really into podcasts these last few weeks since finishing Wolf 359 and I am DYING to talk about them! This is my way to talk about what I've been listening to this week and dumping my thoughts since I do not have friends that listen to podcasts lol

Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later (ep 14) (minor spoilers)

I'm a die-hard Cry Havoc! fan. It's one of the few podcasts I've caught within the first few episodes and it is quickly one I will jump to every time a new episode comes out. Who would've thought a workplace comedy set in ancient Rome would be so good! The humor is dry and mostly situational and works so well.

This episode had a bit more heart than Cry Havoc! has had before and it worked so well! Listening to Octavia and Charmian have a serious discussion that helped further their relationship beyond "ooh haha sexy morally grey lesbians" was really refreshing and nice to see such character growth within just a few episodes.

And the entire plague plot with Gaius and Mark was a great way to balance it out. I love Cry Havoc!'s style of humor. My only qualm is I couldn't find a transcript for this episode but I might've been looking in the wrong place.

Arden (eps 1-4)

GUYS I LOVE ARDEN SO MUCH!!!

This is also a Shakespeare inspired piece! Season 1 is inspired by Romeo and Juliet, which I realized embarrassingly late in, and the little R&J easter eggs I have been picking up are really cool and make me feel like I remembered something from 9th grade English haha.

I used to looove true crime podcasts but I got uncomfortable by how the hosts would discuss the killers and victims so Arden, as a fake true crime podcast, is a great middle ground! I heard season 3 is coming out soon so hopefully I can catch up in time! I love Bea and Brenda's banter and honestly the two just need to kiss or something, but I digress. The writers make this a really compelling story and even though only one aspect of the cold case is examined per episode I am hooked and not at all bored or frustrated when we divert to Bea and Brenda's side convos. I have listened to this when going to bed and gotten scared once or twice, and for a fake true crime podcast I consider that a win!

Wolf 359 (finale)

I don't have the word count to say everything I want to say about Wolf 359. If you know me you might have seen the post I made about finishing Wolf 359 this week and how it was just so world alterting for me because I've been listening to it on and off for about 8 years. It really is the end of an era. It didn't go down the way I thought it would and it was a very bittersweet ending. I feel like everything was tied up well but I do have some questions about Bob. I am going to miss Lovelace, and Eiffel and...everybody! Maybe not Kepler. Truly is an end of an era for me. I was podcast-hungover the whole day.

Stellar Firma (ep 1)

I gave the first episode of Stellar Frima a try, I'm a big Rusty Quill fan so I had high hopes but guys, I don't think this is for me. The pilot episode didn't click for me the way I thought it would and it just didn't seem my speed. What do you guys think about Stellar Firma? Should I give it another shot?

Malevolent (ep 6)

Malevolent is another show I'm trying to get into since everybody loves it but the pace just feels so slow to me right now. I know more overarching plot points develop later on so I'm willing to stick this one out. I like malevolent but it just feels like all the places and things they're doing right now are building toward something I'm not at yet and that's just frustrating.

Time:bombs (1 -3)

What better way to get me out of my Wolf 359 hangover than a podcast made by the Wolf 359 folks? This one came recommended to me by anon so thank you whoever you are! I listened to the entire podcast (3 episodes) in one day and loved it! I miss you Radio Bob. I hope you're doing well. Humor was elite but what else should I have expected from Gabriel Urbina? I loved the character development they were capable of in 3 episodes. I can see myself relistening to this soon!

The Kingmaker Histories (prologue....ep 0?)

another podcast I heard had a new season coming out soon. I don't know how I feel; about fantasy podcasts but I liked season 1 of The Two Princes so I have high hopes. I only listened to the prologue so far and haven't even met the MC so I don't have many opinions yet.

Liminal Criminals (ep 1)

I listened to the first episode twice. It was so funny. Few podcast make me actually laugh out loud. I interrupted my roommate making dinner to tell her about this because I kept laughing. The dry voice the narrator has while he explains the most ABSURD FAKE TRUE CRIME sold this for me. "Mr. Breadsticks stays. Mr. Breadsticks stays. I will kill you with a fork. Mr. Breadsticks stays." is my discord status and no one understands me. I hope the rest of these episodes are as funny.

summary: after being seriously injured during a mission, march finally wakes up.

author's notes: ermmm hi :3 this is a sequel for the thing i wrote for day 2 and i kiinda feel like i'm cheating because today's prompt is barely in here but,,, for the sake of continuity it's gonna be this way LOL also march didn't deserve this tbh. i'll admit i'm evil

When March wakes up, she's confused. 

She registers a few things all at once, too, and it's not really helping: she's lying down on something soft, there's something else covering her body, her chest feels weird, and the light in this… place, wherever she is… It isn't very strong, but still too bright for her eyes, and she has to squint for a moment. Once they adjust, though, she can finally look around - and what she sees is the Astral Express's infirmary. She's lying in bed, and there's someone sleeping on the chair next to it.

Dan Heng.

…Right.

It's when she recognizes him that she also remembers what happened. The fight, the injury… Then Stelle and Dan Heng's worried faces above her, Dan Heng picking her up, asking her to stay awake?... 

Maybe.

She isn't entirely sure about these last few things, they're all blurry in her mind, as if engulfed in thick fog. She remembers that she was in pain and shock and scared, though, so it's probably because of that - but even when she knows the reason, it's still a little frustrating. She doesn't like not being able to remember things. Even when it comes to a situation like this, she's pretty sure she would've preferred the details, no matter how terrifying all of that was for her at the moment.

She doesn't want any more black holes in her memory.

Now that she's awake, though, she will surely be able to fill in the blanks with the help of her friends…. If they want to talk about this, of course, and she has a feeling they won't. Not like she can't really blame them for that - it must've been quite scary for them as well… Especially if she has been unconscious long enough for someone else to fall asleep waiting for her to wake up.

“Dan Heng?” she says, and her voice is so weak it almost scares her. She doesn't really feel this weak - sure, she's still tired, and sleepy, but that might also be due to some medicine she might be under the influence of right now. To prove to herself that it’s really not that bad more than anything else, she attempts to pull herself up - and immediately fails.

Oh.

That's… Not ideal. 

She waits for a moment, but nothing happens; either Dan Heng's sleep is too deep, or she was too quiet, even with her attempts to move. She tries to speak again, this time a bit louder.

“Dan Heng?”

…

Still nothing.

Alright, third time's the charm.

“Dan Heng!”

It's still not loud, and almost makes her cough, but it does the job; her friend flinches, suddenly awake, and for a moment looks startled - it almost makes her giggle. His eyes finally land on her, though, and then his expression instantly changes into a mix of… everything, really; worry and relief, surprise and happiness, before he manages to somewhat compose himself. Only his voice isn't quite as serious and steady as usual, the relief clearly present in there.

“March.” The way he says her name is so soft that makes her feel oddly warm inside. “March,” he repeats. He seems… Unsure; about what to do, what to say, and clearly struggling to find the right words, and she smiles. 

“That’s my name alright,” she says, but it only takes a few seconds for her to remember something and for that smile of hers to fade. 

“Dan Heng?” This time it's her who's hesitating. “I’m sorry.” She looks away from him, suddenly a heavy feeling in her heart. It's… Not very nice, obviously, but it's best to apologize as soon as she can.

At the very least, Dan Heng seems to be genuinely surprised by her apology, and it makes her feel a little better.

“What for?” he asks.

“I… must’ve made you terribly worried, right?” she replies, letting out a quiet sigh. “If I was more careful—” She doesn’t even manage to finish the second sentence and he's already shaking his head.

“No,” he says, and his voice is slightly more firm, but still gentle. Reassuring. “You didn’t do anything— if anything, I should apologize. If I was more careful nothing would’ve happened either, and now, if I got here even slightly too late…” His voice trails off, and March's expression softens when she hears that, her eyes filled with worry. Of course he feels responsible for that. Of course he feels like he should have protected her better. Dan Heng, who treats her like his younger sister and who would give his life for her without a second of hesitation.

But the most she can do right now is smile reassuringly - at the very least, she hopes it’s reassuring and not mostly tired.

“It’s not your fault either,” she disagrees and he nods, but still doesn’t look convinced, and… Ah. Maybe it's not the most appropriate thought at the moment, but March already knows that in a while, when all the emotions caused by this incident are dull, she’s going to tease him about how worried he was, even if just so slightly. 

Not right now, though; especially since something else catches his attention - for the best for him, probably. 

“You look tired,” he notices, and she can't help but feel like he's so glad to change the topic because he's afraid she might be about to try and start blaming herself for everything again. “You should rest more.” 

Normally, she would’ve argued with him about that, but right now, she really does feel tired, she too can hear just how quiet her voice is, and… honestly, all this talking is draining her much more than it should.

“It’s alright.” Because it really is, even despite all that; in the end, she doesn't mind talking to Dan Heng at all, but by the time he says these two words, he has already stood up from his chair.

“I’ll— let the others know you're alright,” he says. “And I can get you something if you need anything.”

She thinks for a moment and shakes her head gently.

“I don't.”

“Okay. I'll be back soon, but please rest.” He gives her one more worried look before heading towards the door.

In a slightly different situation, right now it would've hit her how lonely this room is about to get, but it doesn't happen right now.

She falls asleep before Dan Heng even leaves the room.

hiii! tysm for your kind tags on my post-canon lemon post (i keep re-reading them) <333 i really wanted to draw from canon and not make stuff up so your tags mean a lot! tbh i have so many ideas for lemon, including her relationship with the boys (she'd be besties with finn and surprisingly lance too! she goes to the farmer's market with dot. and mash would confess to her but she wouldn't get the hint lol) i'll making more posts as we speak haha and ty for all your lemon posts/sets, they always make my day! do you have any ideas for lemon?

I love your post-canon Lemon headcanons so much, thank you for sharing your ideas as well! I like how your ideas are very connected to what little information we have about her in the canon, so it all makes sense!

This ask has gotten a little long so under read more!

I like the idea of how the tables are turned (after Mash does not get a hint about Lemon's feelings in the original series, eventually the situation is flipped over and Lemon is too serious in doing her job when Mash confesses so now she ends up not getting the hint!), it's very satisfying! I want to know more about your ideas about her relationship with the boys! I'm sure it's gonna be fun to read!

It's not a problem! I like Lemon as well and I have fun making simple gifsets of her, and I'm happy to find someone who likes her as well! I love all of your pastel-colored gifsets too, they're all pretty and I adore all of them! I always love pastel-colored gifs, I often find them in bigger fandoms but they're a rarity in small fandoms like this, so your gifsets make me so happy! Thank you so much!

I do have some ideas about Lemon! Though I don't feel really confident sharing them until I feel it's "polished" enough if that makes sense, because I'm afraid of making her out of character hahah. It's just how I am! I wrote a fic of her, but it's from Finn's perspective and it's just how much I want them to be friends and how I imagine their friendship would be! It's here if you're interested!

Other than that, my other idea about her is that the final battle changed her. After the battle against the Innocent Zero, Lemon realized that she couldn't do much when Mash really needed her help. Deep inside, she was frustrated that as her future wife, she wasn't able to directly protect him on the battlefield as his heart was taken away. Her possessive nature was increasing, but that was merely a facade to hide her internal frustrations and how much she blamed herself for her helplessness in the final fight. She spends so many sleepless nights crying over it.

So, she hones her magic secretly, she asks Kaldo's help for his guidance because she knows from Finn that his magic has been greatly improved after his training with Kaldo, so from that she secretly trains with Kaldo as well. So much to the point of overworking herself and that's when Mash finds out. When Lemon collapses and Mash carries her to the infirmary, Lemon apologizes for making him worry, explains what happened, and says that as a future wife, she wants to be on his side and helps him whenever he needs it and becomes the first person he can rely on. After that, she properly confesses her feelings to him instead of forcing it like how she always did. Mash, who still doesn't understand romantic feelings, appreciates Lemon's great effort for his sake, but he is worried about Lemon who works too hard to the point of falling ill. So, in exchange, Mash will take care of her as much as he can until she feels well again. Unfortunately, the best that Mash can do is to remind Lemon to eat and drink her meds at the right time and offer cream puffs, but Lemon appreciates the gesture.

I also have a MashLemon idea, separate from the above: I think the reason why Lemon is very bold at expressing her feelings is because she knows damn well that her feelings won’t possibly be reciprocated. The person she loves is a kindhearted, physically strong young man with no thoughts head empty only cream puffs. There’s no way he would know things such as love and marriage, nor would he care about it. Especially after she visited his house, which just reinforces her assumption. That’s why she can be extremely bold with her feelings and advances because she knows he won’t answer her feelings. Even if deep in her heart she wants him to see her as more than just a friend, she knows it will never be possible.

This is why when he DOES respond to her advance, she gets extremely flustered and confused about what to do. Of course, as soon as he shows even the slightest hint of that, she would immediately punch him in the face just like in S1EP8 to deny that. She did that because she knew Mash wouldn’t lift a hand to stop her even though he could. This is why when he DOES hold her fist as she attempts to punch him in the face with little effort, and says: "You’re right, Lemon. We should get married.", Lemon is left speechless with her face now dyed in red due to embarrassment. She cannot reach out to her wand to cast a spell. Besides, knowing him, he would break free anyway, it’s pointless. When Mash gets a hold of both of her hands, his yellow eyes staring right at her as if he really means what he says--he’s bad at lying anyway--when he does reply to her feelings... Well, needless to say, Lemon doesn’t expect this outcome, and she’s running out of tricks.

There's also another idea of Dot properly confessing to Lemon and putting a resolution to his unanswered feelings, and what Lemon actually feels for him, but it's not polished enough so I can't say much.

But, yeah, I guess that's it! When I have ideas that I feel are "polished" enough I often immediately turn them into fanfics, but right now I'm in the "writer's block" phase after writing lots of them lately so I can't write much at the moment, and can only put some scrambled ideas.

If anyone wanted a real writing update (I haven't in a while)

So last update I had given my manuscript to my sister, and while I was waiting for updates I was getting the rest of my query package ready. This was march 2023. I was thinking she would take a couple months to read it, she would give me feedback and critique and I would make edits, then start submitting it to agents.

Long story short, it didn't go like that at all. Last I spoke with her she was about a quarter of the way through it, and were coming up on almost a year. I won't lie and say I'm not sad about it, but I can't really be mad because during this time she: finished her masters degree, worked part time, did an internship AND planned her wedding (it's in april) not to mention some other serious life stuff I won't mention here. Basically I was the asshole for giving her this book rn lol.

Ultimately though, I am glad I gave it to her even though she hasn't finished it, because it forced me to put the manuscript down and let it breathe. I stopped working on it for a month or so and when I came back to it I had a refreshed perspective. I was so close to it I had nooo fucking idea what it was or how to improve it, but when I came back I did.

After this I gave the first five chapters to my boyfriend, he read it and gave me feedback right away, and that set me off on a whole new tangent of editing. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get more eyes on your work. He pointed out so many simple things to increase clarity, things I was blind to bc I understand what is going on.

I also read some craft books, read for fun, and made sure to take plenty of time off and not rush myself. I took a full month break during the Christmas season and into January a bit, and I just got back to it and read the whole thing through. And you know where I'm at now??

It's the best any of my writing has ever been. I've never read it through without this overwhelming feeling of cringe, despair, frustration etc, but I didn't have any of that at all. I actually felt like it was good, and funny and weird and fun to read and I felt proud of myself. I am holding on to this feeling by a thread bc I am really scared for the next steps. I am scared that I have deluded myself into thinking this is anything anyone would want to read, and that its going to read so amateur that ppl will laugh at it. I have worked on this so hard for so long. I could go on about all the things I'm afraid of but none of it matters because I am doing it anyway. Next I'm going to give the entire draft to my boyfriend (and I'm more scared for him to read it than I am for everyone else) and I will take his feedback and make any necessary changes, and then I will start querying for real and then I will probably turn inside out via the sheer power of my anxiety. If you pray, pray for me or if not please beam loving/lucky energy into the computer screen for me. Thx

Love Blonda for being the softer twin. First few times watching the episode, I always saw Blonda as this more spitfire "I'm popular, I do what I want, don't ruin my makeup, lmao get owned you loser sis" type but she's... really not.

Wanda comes in hot and fiery, doesn't even say hello, literally challenges her sister to a duel to the death, and Blonda simply moves out of the way and says "No."

Blonda doesn't protest when her hair catches on fire, she gets wrecked by a meteorite, doesn't express anger when Wanda almost gets her fired... She spends all day with Timmy and Cosmo and doesn't get mad. The thing that sets her off is Jorgen calling her a bumbling idiot, and even then, she defends Wanda instead of defending herself. Doesn't even protest when Jorgen insults "Blonda" who is actually Wanda at the time, unbeknownst to him.

She doesn't reveal her identity or anything, even when he questions if she's really Wanda. She's not throwing around her popularity, even though Jorgen adores Blonda. Chances are high that Wanda would have gotten in serious trouble if her boss found out she'd bummed her godkid on her twin for a day, so kudos to Blonda for not throwing her sis under the bus (and not taking advantage of a fan).

She even tells Jorgen (in a surprisingly soft voice considering her body language in this scene) that he needs to promise to stop blaming Wanda for everything. Good on her for looking out at her sister, even though the last time she saw her sister, Wanda literally swung a sword at her head. Wanda did absolutely nothing to defend Blonda's identity, she straight-up almost got her fired. Blonda killed it with a day in a career she had no experience in, Wanda was tasked to sit in a hot tub and almost blew it. Lol.

The first time we even hear of Blonda, it's from Jorgen describing her as an actress who plays a stern character on TV. She has a few moments in this episode where it's blatantly obvious she's losing her cool - signaled of course by the shift in her "classy brand image" voice to her natural voice - but I feel like it's important to remember that she's... an actress. She's just playing a character.

Jorgen tells Wanda to be "more like Blonda" and set stricter rules for Timmy, but Blonda literally does not set even one rule for Timmy when she's in charge. She's godmother for a day and went into this with no instructions - to the point that she has to poof back and ask her sister what Timmy's and Cosmo's names are (Not that she even gets the question out successfully before Wanda cuts her off) - and her goal was just "I'm going to make this kid SO happy :)"

Yeah, the reason for that is presumably because she thinks all Wanda does is goof around, but it's still funny to think about Jorgen telling Wanda to learn from her sister and set boundaries and Blonda was like "... Wait, we're supposed to set boundaries on this job?"

And she did a great job keeping Timmy happy! Yeah, he did some dangerous stunts that made Blonda nervous, but she didn't snap at him until she was already upset from Jorgen yelling at her. Honestly Timmy told her he was firing himself out of a cannon from California to Australia, and when he brushed off her warning that it was dangerous, she was like "Um okay... Nice knowing you." That is NOT how you set strict rules with a godchild, Jorgen.

End of episode, Wanda still straight-up calls Blonda spoiled, then rubs the fact that Blonda has won no awards in her face. Brutal :( Blonda's experience this episode really went from a frustrating day at work to getting poked fun at on TV to chased by the paparazzi asking invasive questions about her love life to her sister swinging a sword on her to an exhausting day with a wild godkid to getting faked out with an award announcement to her sister calling her spoiled on TV. Geez.

Anyway, this was me taking another look at Blonda and how funny it is that Jorgen thought she would be a good role model for Wanda, but Blonda's idea of what godparenting was like turned out to be "Follow your godkid, gently make suggestions, but back down if there's a risk of them being unhappy. If they want rockets, jetpacks, and cannons, that's fine."

She is soft...

↳ Imagining some random "stranded together on a deserted island" scenario...

↳ The answer is yes, but dysfunctionally. Sanji does like 95% of the work. He does the cooking, he sets up the shelter and keeps it tidy, he works on finding a way to get back to the rest of the crew. He's the caretaker in this relationship for sure. He can assign Luffy tasks of course but only within reason. Luffy is also extremely lackadaisical about everything and it stresses Sanji out a little

↳ Btw Luffy's 5% of the work is 1) hunting, and 2) emotional labor. He drives Sanji a little nuts, but also keeps him from getting lonely. Every now and then, he'll say something that Sanji finds incredibly, stupidly sweet. "I couldn't do this without you!" "I'm glad you're the one I got stranded with :D" "We should do this again sometime!! And bring friends!!!"

↳ And Sanji is just very grumpily endeared by it. He's like... you idiot... you little dunderhead... if we bring other people it won't be "doing this again"... also, why would we want to get stranded a second time?!

Thunder: Do they argue with their S/O each other - if so what about?

↳ They bicker all the time when Luffy is too impatient for food lol. But in a serious way? Hardly ever, and especially not since the Whole Cake Island fiasco.

↳ I think the closest they'd come to arguing is if/when he hears Sanji talking bad about himself. Because Luffy just doesn't get it. Sanji is kind and skilled and strong, so why does he treat himself so harshly?

↳ He'll contradict every point Sanji makes against himself. Sanji thinks it's almost laughable, in a way, how his captain can accept everything about him so easily. It makes him ridiculously happy just as much as it makes him ridiculously frustrated. Because no matter how much he proves himself through loyalty and hard work, deep down Sanji doesn't always feel like he deserves to be accepted like this– so wholly, so genuinely– or to be viewed in such a forgiving light.

↳ I don't think Luffy would get upset in return, unless WCI gets brought up... and specifically if it gets brought up in a way where Sanji hints at any feelings of guilt he carries over it.

↳ Because nope, Luffy is not having any of that. He doesn't hold grudges over WCI, and more importantly than that, he doesn't regret a single thing that happened there. ↳ Something really special about Luffy is that he gives people the strength to admit their dreams and all their deepest desires they've held inside because they were afraid of what'd happen if they let it out. And Sanji's "I want to go back to the Sunny" scene is all of that, completely undiluted. That scene is burned into my memory istg

I was going to go on annon but then decided that there's nothing embarassing about this, so... yea :D I'll begin then.

1- Gendered pronouns dont really exist in where I live but I'd say it's she-her.

7 - Personally I value humour, realism and honesty. I cannot tolerate bullshit where it's a game of cat and mouse, or if they treat me as a disposable object just to make me "jealous". I feel sick to my stomach when I see that. It's fun when you're friends since nothing is ever seriousin a friendship, but a relationship or a flirt has to be kept to a proper level with set boundaries. I can't do casual relationships, though ironically, I'm very afraid of commitment...

8 - Hm, I don't really have a type. Just tall men and women in general, I like it when they hover over me. I also love pathetic men and women lol (not in a literal sense, more like a comical sense. Someone who gets crinkled up like a tissue paper whenever they are in an unfamiliar situation or something like that)

9 - I'm laid back. I dont really show that I care about things until it gets late and I start thinking about it on my bed. I get emotional easily, especially anger is one of the easiest emotions to show for me. People say that I'm hard to read me and call me weird. Also if I really like something, I want all variations of it. Like a specific clothing piece, a particular brand of sketch books, etc. I value money a lot too. Though I can't do math at all.

10 - I love drawing, anime-style games, listening to different types of music and writing. I also knit sometimes.

11- I'm still a student, getting ready for an important exam soon lol. I have a cat, and I feed and pet countless others outside. I love aquariums, though I can't visit them because they are so far away. I despise alcohol because it stinks. I hate cigarettes too. I'm really good at hiding my irritation towards a person when they are present. I like gossiping a lot, though I never call people names if they haven't hurt me or my friends. I also like drawing a lot, and making up stories. I also tend to daydream a lot. And I can't live without the brief moments of time where i just sit down in front of my computer to watch movies after a long day.

12 - I love scenerios where I'm the one that does the comforting. I'm awkward around people who are upset. So being able to take care of someone when they are down is something I desparately want to do, yet I find myself at a loss of what to do. I love scenerios where I see my favorite character get snapped in two like a glowstick, yknow. If that isnt clear enough, I want to see heavy angst with this character. Could be anything. Death (could be the reader/character/anyone thats involved in the character's life), being wronged and extremely frustrated because of it, having their life-long ambitions fail, things like that.

Luke:

Technical: Your INFP and ISFJ connection is pretty great. You both communicate perfectly together and get along well. There’s never any miscommunication with you both. You each bring out a part of each other that you couldn’t without each other, and you work well as a team in lifting each other up. However, you could easily tire each other out with high highs and low lows, so make sure you take reasonable breaks from each other. Once you lay out your differences and accept them, your relationship will go a lot smoother from there. As for you both being Saggitarius’ get ready for a life of adventure together. Luke would NEVER try and make you feel jealous. Even in the beginning before he knew you had feelings for him, he’d never try and get those feelings out by trying to make you feel jealous. He wouldn't want to hurt you if you did happen to have feelings for him. I’m not sure how tall you are, but Luke is pretty tall at 5’11 (180cm) so I think that’s a great height. MMM I think Luke also meets your ‘pathetic man’ requirement in that he’s a little awkward at the beginning of your relationship. So things like holding hands and kissing are still new to him and he’s never been in a real relationship before so he does get a little FNJEAFEA when thing like that happen in the beginning. But I think he’d always be partly a little blushy and shy around you even when he is 100% comfortable around you because he still can’t believe he’s with you!

I know Luke has a bad habit of lying to try to keep you safe, so he tries to show you his best self at all times and keeps you away from the dangerous part of his work, but he does this because he cares about you. I truly believe that over time in a romantic relationship with you, he’d learn to let you in more and let you see even the ugly parts of himself. So please be patient with him and speak your mind about how him hiding stuff makes you feel! That’ll encourage him to open up a little more, but be a little patient with him :3

He’s super supportive in terms of your studies and offers to help as much as he can if you need it! He’s very patient, but I don’t think he’d ever make you upset or anything serious like that. He respects any boundaries you put up and you'll have no issues with smoke or alcohol with him. He won’t drink or smoke, especially if you don’t like it, but I’m sure he doesn’t do those things anyway. You love aquariums? Well, Luke will definitely take you on many dates to one, even if it’s super far, you guys will make it into a day trip. As for your cat, he’ll love that cat as much as you do. Comforting Luke After Someone Close to Him Passes Away

Warning: don’t read if you don’t like mentions of people passing away

I really think Luke is the type to not want to burden the people in his life with his emotions, so he tries to bottle his feelings up or isolate himself

So when he finds out that one of his older, loyal customers passes away before he gets a chance to see the antique Luke had repaired for him, Luke kinda shuts down

He closes the shop for a few weeks and tells his detective agency that he can’t go on any missions for a while. He’s just moping in bed and hasn’t called you very often

SO of course, you know something is up and so you let yourself into his apartment after walking through the store that was already starting to collect dust from being closed for a while

You open his apartment door with the spare key he made for you and see the mess inside his apartment as well

It’s dark and dusty, as if no one has been living in there for a while

You make your way to Luke’s bed, which he is lying in, and he doesn’t even flinch as you take a seat on his mattress at the end of his bed and poke him a bit

He knows you’re there, but he doesn't want you to see him in that state, so he stays facing the wall

So you just start talking; Luke had already told you about his customer passing away, but he brushed over the way it had made him feel when he texted you about it

You knew it would affect your soft-hearted boyfriend though, hence why you gave him his space to grieve, but you were now here to shake him out of his sadness before he rotted away

You get up from his bed and start tidying up for him; starting with opening the shades to let in some natural light, you get to dusting and cleaning up so at least Luke can be surrounded by cleanliness which might help him feel better

As you’re cleaning, Luke finally turns over and just watches you do your thing

Just seeing you there in his once dark, lonely apartment makes him feel a little better, but he still stays in bed, unmoving

He just needs times and some more talking from you to get back into his normal groove

Make him some dinner or order take-out, it doesn’t matter, just get this man eating quickly because we all know he probably has only been munching on whatever he could find in his apartment since he can’t cook

Only when he smells the food will he finally get up from his bed and join you at his small dining table, made for two

He becomes a little more verbal, talking about his memories of fixing thing for the old man who he grown fond of, as if he was his own grandfather

He holds your hand across the table the whole time he’s talking

Just let him talk everything out and be there to support him in the way you do best

Eventually he’ll rise from his slump and be back to his usual self, but in the meantime he just needs you to be there for him

Simeon:

Technical: Your INTP and ENFJ pairing with SImeon is interesting because you both don’t fully understand each other, but that seems to be what attracts you both to each other. Your relationship his very romantic and full of surprises (the good kind). Communication is great as well, there may be things you don’t both agree with, but you easily adapt and get used to the way you both think. This leads to expanding your perspectives together. You are a Saggitarius and Simeon is an Aquarius, together you make an ideal pair. His love for humanity and community can be a beautiful contrast to Saggitarius’ who usually seek for truth and knowledge. Together you’re unstoppable and compliment each other beautifully. 

Personable: Again, Simeon is very loyal, of course and super kind. He would never lead you on and makes sure you know how he feels about you all the time. As the extrovert in the relationship, he probably approached you first and stated clearly that he liked you and wanted to be together with you, so nothing will change that. As someone who is very calm, Simeon would be great at keeping your emotions leveled. You’ll never get very angry at him, but if there is ever a moment where you are angry, he’d know how to calm you down quickly without making matters worse. Simeon is very tall at like 6’3 I think (190.5cm?) so he would definitely loom over you unless you’re taller than that. As a writer, he’d probably come to you with his latest book (uh spoiler if you’re not up to the part where they reveal that Simeon is the author of this series) for TSL. He respects your opinion so he would love to know how you feel about the direction the series is going in. AND he'd love to read any of your own writing as well if you'd like to share it with him. I see him wanting to be tech-y and play video games with you, even though he’s horrible at using technology and can’t text to save his life, but he’ll try for you! 

Loves your cat a lot! Even though he’s not part of the cat squad like Solomon, Satan, or Barbatos, he definitely loves all creatures. Therefore, he would enjoy going to aquariums as well and will travel to the human world so he can go to one with you. He understands you commitment issues and he’s fine with that. He’ll take your relationship as slowly as possible, and if you ever have any insecurities, he wipes those all away with his words and actions of love. He wants you to know that he’ll never make you uncomfortable or betray you. He’s all yours and you’re the only one he’ll ever want. He learns to read your body language so he can become an expert at all things about you, including your ‘hard to read’ demeanor. In no time he’ll be able to tell what you’re thinking by the smallest of actions or words. Most attentive boyfriend ever, 10/10 great relationship full of respect and love.

Comforting Simeon

I think Simeon is more open about his emotions, so when the cafe he tried to open up in the human world wasn’t going so well, he went straight to you about it

After all, he respects you so much and he’ll take any advice you give him to heart

He’s very broken, since he wanted to make a life for himself in the human world so he could be around you more often, but things were not going as planned

He wasn’t getting any customers, and in no time he’d have to close his business (ofc he’s against using any angel charm to try and get new customers. He wants an honest business, as an honest man)

I can’t imagine him being sad for long though, he’s very positive and happy all of the time, and deals with issues like these fairly well because he can see the bright side of things

So there isn’t much comforting you need to do

All he needs to know is that you believe in him and know that his business will be a success one day

And boom, he’s feeling more hopeful already

He probably invites you over to his cafe and asks for your help in decorating or any other ideas that you think might help him gain business

The only time I see him ever really going full dark angel mode is if anyone ever hurt you or if you passed away

I don’t know how he would react, but I know it wouldn’t be so easy to resolve as his cafe issues

in a surprising twist for me, I've decided I've actually been overthinking the line about how liking someone is just like harnessing your own neck and I've decided on an interpretation that is more straightforward. I don't feel like going back and changing my tags but tbh I don't even know what I was saying I was very tired and confused

anyway I've lost the post I'm responding to in my likes (hi ben!) but by now but hopefully people will know what I've talking about. in bullets for convenience.

disclaimer: I have not seen the show in over a year and I do not speak or understand Mandarin

so let's set the scene. wwx experiences a massive shift in perspective after LP gets massacred and after he's been tortured and is thrown into and comes out of the burial mounds. he's acting more serious, colder, more distant, maybe even crueler. he's fairly transparently trying to push lwj away, both to protect lwj from wwx's reputation and to protect himself from the inevitability (he thinks) of lwj leaving him in disapproval and disgust

I interpreted his BM time as likewise a transition about how he perceives and acts about his feelings for lwj. before BM, he def had a crush and he knew it, but after BM, I think he realized that it was much more serious than that, and having been through this nightmarish scenario, he's even jumpier and more wary about being vulnerable with another person and somewhat frightened about being that close to/intimate with someone even if it's someone he trusts. and now knowing how deep his feelings run make that fear even more acute

hence the pushing him away in the first place so he can be in control of how their relationship ends. since wwx has just has all these massively traumatic experiences in which his agency and power was completely stripped from him, he's trying to maintain/re-establish control of his relationships and environment, because it'll hurt less to be the one who walks away first

of course his distancing from lwj doesn't work and while they're in disagreement and are frustrated with each other, they don't stop spending time together or looking out for each other. but wwx cannot talk about what happened. even if he wanted to, I think he simply cannot verbalize what he went through for those three months. and that is a deep trauma that follows him all the way past his own death and rebirth, and it's one of the reasons (along with an impulse to do the right thing at the cost of his own wellbeing and not troubling others) he's so insistent on doing things alone

because even when he trusts lwj and the other lans to want to help him, he knows they can't, and the isolation pushes him into an independence he pretends to have wanted all along, because, as we know, he needs to look like he's in control of what's been happening to him, both for the sake of his own mental stability and for the sake of his clan's political situation

"I simply did not want to carry my sword. Why are you surprised? I've always been contrary and disrespectful."

but this need becomes habit and he stays disconnected from and not entirely trusting almost everyone up to his death and afterwards. he even tries to act unconcerned and unhurt around wq and wn, who knew the truth

anyway wwx is scared of being vulnerable with someone he cares very deeply for, hence this line. 'liking someone that much, isn't is just liking putting a harness around your own neck?" = "I think liking someone this much will be dangerous to me and will hurt me because my freedom will be limited and if I don't have my freedom I'll die/I cannot bear to be in a situation where someone has this much power to hurt me"

side note: this is a time when I really wish I knew what he said in the original dialogue and language but the only blogs who provide such information aren't people I can trust anymore lol

*if you do know what he said in the original dialogue, please do tell if this was an accurate translation*

so there is no doubt that wwx fears for lwj's safety as a result of their relationship, we've seen that time and again. there is no doubt that he worries their relationship will restrict lwj/harm him. but I don't interpret this line as a manifestation of that particular fear, not when it's so specifically about wwx himself and it can be well understood through this other lens

I do agree that this line is a direct call-forward to the temple scene with jgy but I don't really think it was meant to be an exact 1:1 prediction for the dynamics of that moment just because I think the route to get there is just a bit convoluted and I really think wwx was talking about himself in that line

see, I've always really enjoyed the tension between wwx loving freedom and loving lwj, the seeming contradiction of it this relationship that was so satisfyingly resolved when lwj lets him go at the very end of the series. love wasn't tying him down after all

this fear of his easing as he grows older and recovers and learns to trust lwj and take the help that's offered to him and sees that it won't hurt or trap him is such a special and beautiful part of the story that I hold very dearly

another side note: while novel lwj is said to have cared for his father at the end of his life, I don't believe we get any mention of that in the show. for all we know, show lwj really did say oh screw this guy I'm not doing that

all this being said I think it's cool different people can come out with different interpretations of the same line, but it was bothering me that I couldn't figure it out in a way that made sense to me so I thought I'd sit down and write it out

I know I talked a bit about his commitment to justice and doing the right thing in my tags but I really don't think that applied here tbh I think this is an interpersonal issue he's trying to work out with the person he trusts most in the world, a private conversation he's having about something very new and potentially frightening to him. he may pretend otherwise, but he is still very young and he has just underwent horrific tragedy and trauma, and he's worried about being vulnerable and getting hurt again.

it's so very tragic that their young love is undercut with all this fear, on both sides 🥺 this should have been an exciting and joyful realization (and wwx IS excited and joyful to be around lwj) but instead it happens at the worst time possible

I said that this was a straightforward line but then I ended up writing *gestures to all this*/sob

#I think I needed to write it out to unravel it in my head #I know I said I don't support therapy for cql characters but I am giving wwx therapy in my head. my self insert is a therapist now I guess #cql txp
