Thanks Krinkels for not giving any lore to employers nor in games nor in series, so i can go batshit with their lore in my au 🫶

Aka, hi, good morning, im here again to yap about my madness combat au, specifically about employers!!!

Today talking mostly about their anatomy(not much, because im lazy) and will make post regarding their world and history later

(part 1 out of gods know how many, of me talking about employers in my au)

1. Lifespan

Employers can live up to 1000 years. It divided into different "adulthoods". The first adulthood starts, when employers reach age 18-20, second starts in 100-105, third around age 300-307, fourth 509-515, fifth 700-706, sixth and last around age 900-902. Nothing much changes during them, outside of employers growing in terms of their abilities, knowledge ect. Body usually only starts aging and "dying" during fifth adulthood

2. Memory

Funny note about their memory, that until employers reach age of 14-15(depending on employer) their memories are stored in their hair, instead of their heads! So all children usually have very long hair, and are not allowed to cut it no matter what, because they'll loose memories, and will never recover them. Important to note, that if employer forced to cut their hair at a young age, constantly erasing their memories, this will lead to phantom hair to appear, and yes it looks like you think it looks. "Ghostly" looking part of their hair, that cannot be touched and only serves as a reminder of how many memories employer have lost(Auditor in my au, is a good example of employer with phantom hair), also employers who have it, usually have bad memory and problems with learning new things. And yes, after age of 14-15 employers are allowed to cut their hair however they want, because it doesn't hold their memories anymore, because their brain/head is now developed enough to finally store all this memories and knowledge. So yea, at a young age, taking care of their hair, is really important to employers!

3. Hearts

Employers don't have hearts like we do. Instead they have employer cores. Employer cores are crystals that are grown and carved by gods to help employers contain and control their powers, also helping to keep their bodies stable(and because of the fact that in employers body, cores are kept in their chest where heart would be, sometimes they also called employer hearts). Employers are being made from powers they get at birth, and their bodies is the energy of those powers. Without cores, their bodies aren't stable, because there's nothing that keeps their powers in check, and keeps them stable. So, cores are made just for that. Employer cores, although made of crystals, are very flexible and can change their appearance to absolutely anything their owner wants. They can even be turned into weapons!(Also, side note: in earlier eras of employers history, noble people and anyone with high status would wear their cores as accessories, literally turning them into such. This was counted as the person showing their higher status, hence them not hiding their heart and literally showing it off, as some jewelry). Also, when employer looses some of their powers(yes, that's more than possible) they have ways of restoring them, and those ways are unique to all employers. Some employers can restore their powers for example, by eating specific food, or something having to do something as bad as hurt someone. But mind you, the ways their powers are restored doesn't say anything about the person!!! Also, if you're curious, yes, grunts can use employer cores and use the powers they hold, although with time it'll kill them(im too lazy to elaborate about this rn, so let me know if i should even bother talking about this more)

4. Core connections

Yes, cores can be connected between eachother, in few different ways. Thus far, there's only four known core connections:

Mixed - as the name suggests tho cores mix into one, along with their owners. Two beings and their hearts become one person basically speaking. This connection cannot be undone since there's nothing remaining of tho individual employers, only a mix of them!!!

"Cursed" - employers sometimes can "curse" their cores, so after their death, no one would be able to use their cores and the powers it hold. That's where the name comes from. If employer tries to connect their core to "cursed" core, not only will they die, but powers from their core will be drained into cursed one, reviving cursed owners body as well

Threading - employer core that got "shattered" through "threads" gets connected to another core. Those threads allow employer to use the powers of the shattered core(as long as it's not cursed ofc), without having to mix the cores and all that stuff. This is one of those connections that can be ended at any point, through simply "cutting the threads"

Piercing - one core pierces another core. This connection is extremely rare and random occuring, for so far unknown reasons. In this connection, the cores and employers do not mix, but still are connected to one another. Powers of the core that pierces another will get reduced to fit the power level of the core that's being pierced. This connection can only be safely broken, if there's another employer, who's willing to have their core pierced by core that's well, piercing to the core of another employer. Otherwise, if cores with this connection get "disconnected" from one another for more than a few minutes both employers will die. Origins of this core connection are unknown, so it's hard to tell why it even works like that or why is it even exists

5. Employer markings

This term both refers to marking that employers can be born with and markings that appear on grunts body/clothes and what not, if they use the core for too long. A bit about each:

Employer markings on employers themselves - generally just markings of the same colour as their aura. Can appear on any part of their body, can be small or big. They're randomly occurring, so if both parents have markings there's no guarantee their child will have them as well. In early ages of employers world it was believed that those markings depending on their shape and placement can tell how employers life will go, up to their death, although it wasn't actually true

Employer markings on grunts - a clear sign that grunt is close to dying. Markings on them can appear in any shape and form. Can appear on their clothes, or appear outside their body, for example in shape of wings, having the colour of core that grunt is using. Those marks don't hurt them, and grunts don't even feel them appearing, but again, those marks are a bright sign that they'll die soon from using the core for so long

6. Core descendants

All cores are unique, each and every one, so if employer has core exactly the same(or suspiciously way too similar) to core of already deceased employer(bonus point if they have the exact same powers) they're considered core descentand of this employer. This doesn't mean that the two employers are connected, this only means their hearts and mind are so similar that they have either exactly identical or very similar shape of their hearts and abilities

Recently, there have been photos of me and of course, photos of me pregnant that were unintentionally leaked. And that's also the reason why I spoke up about this, (why do I sound so serious, haha) anyway, it's been a while and it's time to share with you guys.

Since you love me, you deserve me to share your joys with you. Yes, I'm pregnant and my baby is 8 months old!! time flies, since the day I announced that I would take a temporary break for a while because I felt OVERWHELM, that actually was the time I wanted to devote all my time to taking care of myself as well as my baby, prepare to be a mommy. After the two left, Killua was already talking to gon about him beating hisoka. He tried to show how far away gon was from hisoka as well, making sure gon knows.

Gon asked before Killua immediately made the line medium size.. Killua thought he was so humble, yea right but it made you laugh. He.. he made you laugh right?! That counts, he made you laugh… god he was going to think this over in his head over and over, gon groaned as he let out another sigh, not knowing what to do even. Before Killua suggested to go to heavens arena, which both of you and gon found that going to heavens arena was a good idea! Even if you both don’t even know what heavens arena is..

You three got the tickets online, and was on the airline as soon as it was there. Both gon and killua talking, sometimes you adding in as well.. as you were just tired from going to killua’s house even! God, opening those big ass doors were horrible for you and your back.. you yawned before leaning back into your seat, finally falling asleep as Killua and Gon were talking until Killua noticed you sleeping and he stared at you sleeping so peacefully.. he felt sorta at peace for that at least you were sleeping and not hurt. He zoned out really before Gon snapped him out of it really.

analysing vance hopper because he lives in my head 24/7 !

tw for like. literally everything the black phone covers!!!!!!

also there's some special effects gore rather far down in the post idk just i feel like i should warn you just in case

okay so before anyones like "but bee!!!! he only had 6 minutes of screen time in a 102 minute long movie!!!!! he was only on screen for 5.8% of the movie!!!!!" and to that i say i Know it was a real tragedy so a lot of this will be built on personal interpretation and subtext and stuff said behind the scenes and whatnot

so firstly i wanna rot about what his childhood/upbringing might've been like..... i havent quite decided on something definitive but i think we can take one look at his character and realise that is glaringly obvious he had a bad childhood, in one interview the actor that plays him (brady hepner) says "the background i had set up for vance is that the reason he was the way he was is his home life was fairly difficult, you know maybe his dad was either not there for him or he wasn't supportive, maybe he was fairly abusive, and so that creates a hair trigger sense of rage in vance" hair trigger meaning his patience is literally as thin as a strand of hair it does Not take a lot for him to snap

there more to it after that which i'll get into soon but yea thats the gist of it it's clear he had absent/neglectful/abusive parents and that would certainly contribute to why he's so angry all the time, maybe acting so explosive was the only way to get his parents' attention, either good or bad, so he just internalised that. obviously rage and anger issues like vance's lead to violence (not in all cases but in his case it does) and i think a neglectful and abusive upbringing would obviously expose him to more violence than a normal childhood would, therefore normalising it and desensitising him to it, whether he's seeing it play out in his own home and/or on television or something like that (because i doubt his parents would be the kind to monitor what content he's viewing)

i feel like he has little control over his life and that only adds to his anger, which in his case leads to a fight when his buttons are pushed too many times. i think he probably takes great pride in being the toughest in town and whatnot and winning fights and being perceived as strong and scary is good to him and helps him regain control/power, something he doesnt have at home. the rest of the quote from the interview i mentioned earlier states "this pinball machine could have been the only thing that he has in his heart that's like, good, like 'holy cow i did this, i set the score,' so when someone comes along and messes it up for him, it takes away the only thing that he has. i think that that's when he switches to a 'now you're gonna pay for that'"

similar to what i said about fighting, the pinball machine and his high score is something he has control over and its an important part of his reputation/image like. hes literally pinball vance ! and the whole thing about that high score being the "only thing he has in his heart that's good" implies that hes. well. pretty shit at everything else, which is pretty much canon if you remember that gwen said vance was held back twice in school. makes me think that while he's not the brightest in school he's certainly street smart

moving onto ermmmmm him getting kidnapped era because im sure youre wondering "well bee if he's so street smart then why did he get kidnapped" so may i raise two theories (this is. literally all i got and its not even concrete, me and my friend gray (@staggersz) tried to figure out how this could even happen and this is the most plausible thing we've got. so shoutout to him real quick he has had to deal with me being unnormal about vance for like a year and a half thanks king couldnt have done all this without my rotting buddy)

so either he got taken by surprise (most likely option) or vance's trust was gained first via getting given quarters at the pinball machine and small talk and shit like that but this is unlikely because i feel like it'd take a loooooong time for someone like vance to trust a some random stranger adult man when he clearly has issues with trusting and respecting people older than him and people with authority (e.g. cops, his parents, or school officials) so yea being taken by surprise would probably be the most realistic option, i always see people on tiktok being like "how did the grabber kidnap vance hes so strong!!!!" dude its a 15 year old boy against like. a 45 year old man who's already claimed two lives its really not gonna be a fair fight here

before i get into the next part i wanna quickly address a theory i absolutely Hate and it is so easily disproven and that is the theory that vance is the grabber's son or is related to him in some other way and i see it Far too often on tiktok and i HATE it. from what ive seen this all stems from his dream sequence where he kicks open the fence to albert's house and, presumably, goes inside after being dropped off by the police after the grab n go fight. idk if some people just straight up didnt realise this but clearly in real life he is going to his Own House??? in the dream it's only albert's house because this is how he chooses to show gwen the house she's trying to find her brother in, the house that he himself was killed in??? i hate the theory i hate it sm

the dream sequence itself is interesting though as the ghosts seem to only be able to conjure up what theyve seen in real life (like how bruce can picture the outside of the house and show that to gwen but the house number is all flipped and not right beause he doesnt know it) so vance being able to picture the house and the number and the gate and every detail would imply that hes seen it before, but im going to explain that away as either he got out once before like with finney's failed escape attempt, or the house is most likely on the route he walks to school or the grab n go or something and he hasnt actually been there prior to being kidnapped

mini rant over now onto being kidnapped i guess, so i used the missing posters to try and estimate a timeline of how long each ghost boy would've been in the basement for (although the missing posters are notoriously unreliable for details such as looks/height/age/etc, the dates seem to all line up). so we know the order is griffin, billy, vance, bruce, robin, finney, right?? if we use the poster date then billy was taken on may 4th, 1976, a month and two days after griffin was taken (april 2nd 1976). vance was taken on september 23rd 1977, almost a full year later (stay with me im going somewhere with this), and after that bruce was taken on july 18th 1978, again almost a full year later

its established in the movie that the grabber stalks his victims before he takes them (canon because we literally see the van watching finney and gwen as they walk home from school early on in the movie) but we dont know how long he does this for since griffin/billy and robin/finney were taken such short distances apart and then the others were taken such long distances apart, also it's possible he could stalk his next victim while the previous one is still alive, etc etc lots of confusing factors, but if i've done the maths right then the absolute maximum time vance could've spent down there is 9 months and 25 days, or 298 days, so erm . let that sink in !

howeverrrr in the movie gwen states that vance went missing "last spring" and september is definitely not in spring, meaning he could've been down there for a year or even longer. an explanation or excuse i could think of for the movie and the missing poster saying different things (other than the missing posters being known for some areas being wildly inaccurate) is that maybe he was taken in spring but wasnt labelled as officially missing until september, when he was properly linked to griffin and billy's similar disappearances and the mysterious grabber? i can imagine it'd be very easy for law enforcement, especially in the 70s, to dismiss someone like vance as a runaway until they get solid evidence that he was taken. idk though thats just my personal excuse / angsty headcanon for the difference in information

not sure what exactly killed him but we do hear from vance himself that "he took his time with me" so it was probably blood loss from a variety of injuries, if we look at him in his ghost scenes we can see his hair is absolutely covered in blood which indicates head injury, he clearly has a broken nose and bruising around his eyes as a result of it, he has these deep cuts on his abdomen area (apologies for the image quality but i believe they're like. sfx pieces you would wear under clothing)

and he also has just like. minor bruising (like the fingerprints on his arm) and other random blood splatters on his face and neck (assuming the blood down his neck comes from wherever he was bleeding on his head) so Yeah overall very unpleasant way to die obviously

okay now the part thats actually in the movie and it only took me 13 paragraphs to get here: vance as a ghost!! first thing i wanna point out is appearance wise i just want to say that when he's a ghost he's missing his choker and that fact Pains me. anyway personality-wise i feel like being violently murdered has, understandably, kicked his rage up to like. the highest level it could possibly go. he's insanely snarky and downright rude to finney on the phone, showing no empathy to the fact that finney is literally in the exact situation he was in

i feel like the whole "this is the nightmare end of your pathetic little life" and "if you knew what you had coming, you'd be fucking terrified" thing is definitely to scare finney on purpose and to get him to do something, vance might as well have just told him he's never going home cuz thats how it came across LMAOO, it is startling though because vance is clearly speaking from experience, that he was literally fucking terrified, and he is warning finney in his own weird way

the thing i think sets vance apart from the other ghosts is that while he does help finney, he does it for a different reason than they do. the other ghosts want finney to escape, to get out, to be free, to live, but personally i dont think vance cares about that. the only thing he wants is for albert shaw to be dead, for someone to seek vengeance, to do what vance couldn't. vance doesn't care if it's bruce or robin or finney or whatever boy could've come after that, he doesnt care as long as that man gets what he deserves after what he put vance through, and i see this through the scene at the end of vance's call where finney thanks him for his help and vance says, and i quote, "helping you? this isn't about you, fuck him! and apologies for being repetitive but to me it just literally proves that to vance, this isnt about finney or his escape, its just about revenge

we dont get to find out what happens to the ghosts once the credits have rolled, and i dont think we quite know enough about tbp's version of ghosts to guess what theyre up to, but i have a few theories :3 maybe theyre no longer bound to those two houses and they can now go anywhere they want in town? or maybe since their shared goal of stopping albert has been achieved, the ghosts can finally pass on to whatever is waiting for them next. i dont think vance would be content to pass on that quickly or easily as anger lingers, but i hope he'd be able to let go of it eventually, and hey we might find out in the sequel. i pray it mentions him cuz i will just die if it doesnt

sometimes, ok thats a lie, frequently i think about an au where he survived or escaped or whatever but ohhhh boy this post is already a train wreck so that au would deserve its own essay of a post :3 if u actually genuinely read this far then Wtf thanks for reading the ramblings of an absolute madman, only pure delusion could get like 20 paragraphs about a guy with 6 minutes screentime but hey thats how i roll, thanks again to my pal gray for letting me rot and thank u to my other pal ana for also enduring all this rot

logan, when he was a recruit, stabbed another recruit in the neck with a PEN. mainly cause said recruit was picking on him/kind of bullying him, a pen was the nearest object, and…yea :3. now the recruit has pen-trauma u can say.

then imagine like present-ish day, on a mission when they’re combining forces, and the entire ghosts team is like infront of the truck where theyre meeting said force, the same recruit and logan meet eachother again and they(the recruit) try to sock him(logan) in the face…but failed miserably cause logan dodged it. (or they got socked themselves in the face before they could hit logan by someone else…could really go in different ways in either the (overly)protective way or the “oh my fucking god—“ way.) now think about the recruit trying to explain themself and describing what logan did to them while logans just there unbothered as shit, arms crossed, while the rest of the guys are just standing there staring at logan in utter disbelief. (like really logan a pen?)

Lil backstory : When You first got here it was around 7 months before pomni gets into the circus. your reactions to seeing all the supposed people was terrifying u were laughing your brains of since u thought it was all just a big prank but once u realized it was real u were just stunned. I mean u were still amazed like wow i'm in a virtual reality type of reaction. And about what u look like idk that up to yourself but lets say Ur like a type of animal could be a cat or something else. U were always ecstatic to be in the circus and everybody even Caine were surprised. Like it not everyday in this virtual reality u see a person who is more than happy to be there. (also i'm not really gonna add Kaufmo since their is little to no info bout him)

Okay now to the good stuff

So really your weren't stupid to not notice how Jax would occasionally "look ur way to see something else" nor to notice how differently he treated u compared to the others. Either he would go out of his way to be nice or mean to you.

You were chatting bout random nonsense with zooble when she said

"Hey Y/n do you see how much of a dumb### Jax's looks like just looking at you"Looking at you then at Jax then at you.

"no lemme check"You turned around to see jax looking away from you to above you? yea he was doing the "look ur way to see something else" crap again.

"ugh it starting to annoy me" Says Zooble wanting to stand up and start to beat the crap out of Jax but thankfully u stopped her then said

"hey its okay he may be weird and all but we got to be used to this anyway where stuck here"

"but he does like you Y/n we can all see it in his eyes" Says Ragatha entering the conversation

"yea ragatha is right how bout we make a plan to you know um- make him confess he like you" says zooble looking at you waiting for an answer.

Then u spoke up

"Sure i guess but knowing him he would never confess"

"Ugh lets head to my room to discuss the plan" says ragatha getting up

You three walk all he way to the room corridors and enter Ragatha's Room and discus how you would get Jax to confess his feelings to you.

"Okay so how should we do this" says Ragatha with some confusion in her face

"Well we know that Jax is a very Um- how should I say this es stupid and lets just say hes like a little puppy who follows you around" Says zooble before you with shook face say

"WAIT what is that supposed to mean I never see him trailing behind me"

"He does he always trails behind you buts ur either dumb or blind since u never see him literary behind u. ALL THE TIME" Says Zooble

"Well um- we should get started with the plan and stop taking bout how Jax is a little twerp" Says Ragatha with a bit of an annoyed face splatted in her face

"Okay okay well first of all since we know Jax is like a little dog with nothing else to do than follow Y/n we should..........."Says Zooble spilling out what the plan would be about.

Well basically the plan is make Jax follow u around Y/n complements Jax every time he does something for her even the smallest of things like letting u have the first of anything picking up flowers for u,him pranking u and much more.

Everything was going according to the plan Jax being Jax follows you around and sneaks up on you with a centepied (which ur scared of) and lands it right besides u trying to get a scared yelp from u but instead u just threw it away and said

"Jax u little bad bunny don't do that again" while pinching his cheek just slightly

"~wait you aren't mad?" Says Jax while becoming a blushing mess

"no of course not bunny boy come on lets go outside"

you two go outside and jax keeps trying to make your way there horrible by trying to trip ur feet over and over again but failing miserably.

Once you both are by the lake you start to look around and see Zooble and Ragatha watching impatiently.

"So what are we doing here again?" says Jax

"nothing much just .. Taking in some fresh air i guess"

hello tumblr i return from the mysterious crypt to show off something i have been working on

basically ever since shovel knight pocket dungeon got mod support and a mod showcase by yacht club themselves was announced i couldn’t hold myself back and have been working on a custom character nonstop and it eventually became a 4 character pack i wanted d to release

sb - i think one of his red flags would be fickleness? idk if i would be able to explain it well but he mentioned before that he hates being adult because of responsibilities. based on that, i can see him expressing his feelings toward the other person but then suddenly backing out because he suddenly feels overwhelmed with the thought of responsibilities that comes with relationship. he likes the person but he might be indecisive on whether he is ready to commit or not. (Not saying this is really him but just a possibility based on what ive observed with those type of ppl)

yj - fixer. sometimes he might be too focused on fixing whatever he thinks need fixing on his partner and that can be really annoying. while his moon in libra and mars in sagittarius might help him be ‘chill’.. that leo and virgo combination is no joke.

bg -u’ve said it right. it is his pettiness that can be a red flag. also the lack of communication with manipulative tendencies! if he’s the wrong one, he will have no trouble apologizing. he’s nice that way. but if his partner is the wrong one? yea good luck. he’d disappear and will make sure to make them feel guilty for it until they’re on their knees— 😶

tyun - im inlove with him so much im willing to ignore 🚩.. kidding! look, i’ve seen his chart and a lot of his personal planets r making aspect to his sun which made me think that his ego (sun) plays a huge role in his life and will definitely be one of his red flag. rn we see tyun mature side right? but i feel like anything that will hit his ego so hard can make the vicious side of him come out. his aries mars makes him easily reactive to those things. when he’s triggered, the only way to calm him down is to leave him alone.

hyuka - low self-esteem. among the members, he’s the one with a really low self esteem (all of them have but his goes deeper) im not gonna explain much other than it’s not really pleasant with these type of ppl. u gotta be strong or else they’ll drag u down with them. he’s a leo.. a leo with a healthy self esteem r the best and i know that hyuka will eventually get there.

i absolutely agree with your opinion about soobin, this is one of the things that I thought about but couldn’t articulate it. in my opinion he is quite mature and he is the leader of the group which makes him mature even more, but it seems like that is enough for him? like, on the one hand, it’s not that he’s not mature for a relationship, but rather he’s just not ready to take responsibility yet. + he said that he is not the kind of person who would lead a relationship or plan something and therefore would just agree with everything that his girlfriend wants, but this is also literally an abdication of responsibility to some extent. so, in my opinion, he either doesn’t want to take on extra responsibility because he’s tired of responsibility at work, or he’s not ready for it due to his young age, or he’s just that kind of person (but actually i think it affects everything together and may change with age, like i don’t think that he will be a person who will become a super leader in a relationship, but at least he will be okay with the responsibility that comes with the appearance of a relationship)

yeonjun yes and beomgyu absolutely yes. if he has a fight with his partner and the partner says something offensive to him, they won’t get away with just an apology, and for some reason i think that if it really hurt him, he would remember it every time in all next fights. and also sometimes he likes to do something like checks? like that time when he blocked taehyun to see if he would come to wish him a happy birthday

taehyun yes too and + soobin said that taehyun often gets offended that he doesn’t share his feelings and this can also be in some ways a red flag for people who have difficulty sharing feelings or who just don’t like it

speaking of kai, i understood what you mean and this is really true, but it is in him that it manifests itself as not being so burdensome for other people? like i mean my work in korea was partly related to this area and i could see and sometimes communicate with different musicians/actors/dancers and other media personas and one of the most surprising things is when you look at them you think “wow this person is so cool, they are beautiful, they are smart, they are interesting personas, they have good singing/dancing/whatever skills” but when communicating with these people, most of them have very low self-esteem but they don’t seem to focus on it. i don’t know how to explain this more correctly, but it’s like the difference between people who due to low self-esteem really pull people around them to the bottom and people for whom it’s like something background that you might not even recognize right away. but idk whatever i hope kai can handle with this and it seems he has already changed for the better

listen people can have their differing opinions that’s cool I just Personally Feel Like it’s just so mean to be yelling that feedback such as likes on posts and a kudos on fics are “useless”. What do u mean. Why. are ppl not expressing their feelings in a way that makes them comfortable ? ?

Like I Understand i guess in the sense of you don’t get to hear peoples opinions. I also feel kinda lonely and stuff when it’s quiet feedback but calling anything useless sounds so WEIRD to me ??? What is the goal. And also yea they do something still I’m pretty sure????

Take ao3. Isn’t sort by kudos an option on there? If your goal is to be seen more or whatever then if people are looking for high kudos fics, then people giving ur fic a kudos isn’t useless yeah??

And then tumblr. People keep saying “likes do nothing here there’s no algorithm” or whatever but that’s not really fully true. On your standard dashboard, sure, likes “don’t do anything” to move a post around on there. BUT that’s not the only place people find posts. If u are looking in the tags for posts, im p sure the default is to sort by popular posts. That’s, as far as I understand, a TOTAL NOTES count. Likes are included. Likes help ur posts her higher in that “popular” zone. I have several posts that have ended up in there in some small ship tags BECAUSE of all the likes, which does still have people seeing those posts now and then when they’re in the tag.

AND I’m pretty sure it’s a similar mechanic for the for you page. I’m sure we think people don’t use that feature but I’m pretty sure people do/ maybe new users. This is more of a theory on my part lol buttttt. I’ve noticed a few rare times where I’ve made an addition to a reblog on someone else’s post, there will be a stretch of time sometimes where random people that Do Not Follow Me keep liking/reblogging the post via my addition. WAY more times for it to just be a stray person wanting it from my addition without comments under (and I don’t think people do that when they’re only liking the post lol). And the few times I’ve accidentally had my for you tab on, I believe it does show via other people’s reblogs lol. So that’s just my way of saying total note count INCLUDING LIKES probably does put posts in peoples eyes on the for you tab / my experience tells me people do use that feature so it’s not just sitting there dusty lol.

Anyway I like mostly understand why people want reblogs and comments, like I do prefer them too bc I like when people tell me what they r thinking (however sometimes people do not add their thoughts in the tags either and that is just how it is!). And I also understand some people maybe just don’t know that others like that kind of feedback and need to hear it first to feel encouraged. I think I just personally do not like the tone that a lot of posts have when they talk about it. When ur calling likes useless bc idk it’s not the right kind of feedback u wanted so it’s inferior ?? 😭😭😭 I also feel like that intense vibe like, idk if this makes sense or if other people felt it too, but it negatively shifted my own perception too? Like. I thought likes were fine. So, I have a kinda an off the walls theory, but I think hope wasn’t actually physically tortured, LEMME EXPLAIN-

Now, maybe it’s just me missing a bit of dialogue but when we speak to Hope she thoroughly believes she looks horrid and disfigured from all the decades of torture she’s been through, but to us she’s fine, she looks healthy and unharmed and the only thing you could rlly say is her tattoos, but we don’t know if they were there before or not.

Even when we say she looks fine, she doesn’t believe us, which I find strange because if she’s been flayed and everything else he’s done to her he obviously had to heal her or something to keep her alive and explain why she looks so normal to us, but she doesn’t remember? An answer to this could possibly be that he’s been wiping her memory of being healed, to make her torture even worse, that she can’t even recall being healed, BUT, there could be a totally different answer that I think could work possibly better.

Now, when I say this, I’m not trying to make Raphael seem idk less evil, but what I’m going to say could lend some more plausibility to Korilla and why she’s basically ok with Hope’s situation. So, here it is: In one of the entries when Korilla writes about Hope, she’s being tortured with nightmares, and my theory is perhaps that’s all that’s been actually done her. Honestly it kinda helps with Korilla’s case for not helping her sister (especially since she did care for her when they were younger) and perhaps only seeing psychological torture done to her rather than physical would help her justify not saving her sister . Then again, I could’ve just missed some dialogue and this can all be explained away, but one more thing I want to mention-

I also just think this adds a lot to Korilla, like I could totally see her just not belong her sister too, like she cared for her when they were young and she made her own decisions and she doesn’t need hope to come save her, and perhaps she feels she’s done this to herself and so refuses to help her anymore, but also at the same time it find it hard to believe she just doesn’t care, like in her notes about hope she cares to some degree but to watch her get tortured for decades? It’s hard to stomach, but if it were dream theory and all she had to see was her sister “imagining” all that torture, yea it wouldn’t be a walk in the park to witness but I think that’d be easier to stomach than actual torture, idk. I just don’t think Korilla would be ok with that? Like she works for Raphael at that point but still, even after you save her Korilla stands with Raphael rather than join her sister.

I love Hope as a character, even with the short amount of time we have with her in game, and I forget where this information is from but there’s supposedly a piece of information in game that Raphael says he’ll fucking disembowel some kid if she still doesn’t relent, now it is extremely hard to find information online about these two since if you google anything about Raphael or hope you’ll get a few sparing Reddit posts but mainly guides on how to kill Raphael, so please take this specific information with a LARGE grain of salt, but if this is an actual thing in game, I find it very hard to believe Hope would’ve “let” this happen, perhaps he intended to do this to Gortash but then he escaped and Raphael just never bothered to go through with it then.

I understand Hope will basically never accept him but also I just can’t imagine Hope being able to stand watching anything happen to another innocent person, and not to victim blame her, but I’m sure she would feel some blame from it, idk, but also the DREAM THEORY, I think that’s what I’m going to call it.

It would help explain this as well, I just can’t imagine Hope “doing” that and in some way being ok with it, like personal strength to never give in and all, but not giving in to save another? Idk, and personally I think it can makes her character even more tragic but less compelling (perfect victim and all ☠️) , her withstanding all that torture done to her is admirable but idk, look like I said this sounds like victim blaming, I just think her character could be a martyr, I think she is the type of character would sacrifice herself, especially if it’s a child like, I just find it hard to believe with her being a cleric and wanting to help people as well, anyway this is starting to sound rlly bad.

Like I said, I can’t find this information from a straight search so, it’s likely from a post on tumblr anyway, and who can say if that can be trusted, but I’m willing to believe it and put it here but with a huge DISCLAIMER , anyway, dream theory could help explain some characters more, like Korilla and even hope herself, but at the same time it kinda makes Raphael less yknow, evil, like it’s still torture but it isn’t physical ect and some ppl might not like that as it softens his villain persona a smidge, but also dream theory is very flimsy and can crumble in an instant, but it’s just a thought, or perhaps, it’s a theory- A Game Theory, thanks for reading.

Vent Post

So yesterday I was sitting with my friends (outside of the event bc it was way too loud) and this older guy comes near us.

My friend Livvy tells me to move but I don't and I stay there. (I should've listened).

Anyway, he starts talking and I'm replying bc he seems nice. Then he starts asking me “do you like spicy books?”

which I reply with ; “um.. idk I don't mind them ig”

then he starts recommending me 21+ books (mind you he knows I'm a minor) and I'm sitting there awkwardly and trying to tell him to shut up without saying it

Then he starts going into detail about what the smut does (HE STARTS GOING INTO DETAIL OF A 18+ PERCY X GODDESS HAREM FANFIC?!?)

and yea.. he also didn't understand the basics of female anatomy, so I had to explain that not all female born bodies are super curvy?? Like that's basic knowledge??

And then he kept talking about smut, kinks and all that shit. I wanted to burst out crying.

He even has the balls to ask me; “what type of body to you prefer on men?”

I answer: “um.. I prefer hugs..”

“Yea but like, super buff or skinny?”

“ummm... scrawny ig?”

“hey I have a scrawny body!” then he lifts up his shirt to reveal his waist—then I add; “i also prefer girls... so..”

he ignores that.

he even asks for my number. “you got Snapchat? discord?”

I told him she was right and he rolled his eyes

anyway, he follows me up to my homeroom to grab my bag (cuz he goes to the same one) and he keeps talking about his job and all that.

when I finally got away from him I nearly cried, I had so much yucky feelings around him. (AND IT DIDN'T HELP THAT HE USED TO FOLLOW MY OTHER FRIEND AROUND LAST YEAR)

and during lunch I'm happy I'm smiling again—then he comes near, and stops in front of my group. I'm immediately grab my friend, livvy's hand and rush into the girl's bathroom and we wait until he's gone to go back.

I have to see him everyday because he's in my homeroom. I don't like him and I feel like he's trying to get closer with me like he did with my other friend (he kept following her after she ONCE needed his help with a math problem)

ALSO ALSO ON THE SWIMMING CARNIVAL WE WERE PLAYING T OR D ON AN APP.ON HIS PHONE AND IT KEOT BRINGING UP NSFW DARES AND TRUTHS?? AND EVEN WHEN IT WAS NSFW he made it seem like it was

Yea girl, I don't get it.

You think Tom couldn't be with someone else? 🥴 We saw him with a couple different women (the ones that we know of at least lol 😆) during the Tomdaya breakup. He can get whatever woman he wants.

The previous Anon was focusing on ZENDAYA and trying to imply that she doesn't love Tom (which is utter BS 🙄😒). Hence, my saying that she OBVIOUSLY loves Tom cuz she's WITH him....especially when she could have anyone else. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Also, (another thing that irks me), just because someone makes a definitive statement about ONE person or group, it does NOT automatically mean smthg about another person or group.

It seems we ran into that nonsense with BLM Movement. As if, somehow, saying that BLACK Lives Matter automatically means that other lives don't. 🙄😒 To the point where, some felt the need to state: "ALL lives matter!!" And completely MISSED the point in the process. And if "All lives" really DO matter, as some proclaimed, then wouldn't that, but extention, also include BLACK lives? So then, why is it so hard for you to say that Black lives matter then? 🤔

Anyway.....I digress..... 😒

Bub or Bub’s just feels like such a soft name and given how powerful and even aggressive his name naturally sounds giving it a more tender sound is AHHHH it’s so good.
