Not sure what you wanted so I did a small set of HC’s! Hope this is okay and I will do more if anyone wants more, give me pacific scenarios if you want! 💗

Notes: Also I have some of them already posted if you’d like to take a look if you haven’t already. Here is my masterlist. Also when you say “rom/Roma I assume you mean romantic.

Warnings: Yandere tendencys. I’ve made worse yandere things, so this is on the soft side. Some suggestive themes but it’s not even to a high level.

Helaena targaryen:

I think she would have a nickname for you and I think it would be a dove. A dove is a beautiful free creature that she thinks represent happiness and that’s what you are to her.

Helaena as I have stated before my opinion is she could be one of the most scary Yanderes. The watcher and quite type, like she doesn’t show tendency so you’ll never expect her to be. But if you look closely you can see her obsession.

She is constantly holding your arm and if you want to break feel she pulls you back in a distracts you. Like point out a bug or anything in the room so you wouldn’t notice her grip on you.

Helaena has killed so many people in court, each of the dying from a creature in their bed. It was so bad that everyone was been told to check their bed at night. So any man or woman that looked at you funny was dead, and if they talked to you…One of the worse infections for them.

But she can be sweet. Like she wants you to be happy and she will put it above anything. So she is constantly gifting you jewelry to match hers and new dresses.

She likes to kiss you softly every chance she gets. She’s the type to kiss slowly down your arm or your neck in a loving way. She also likes to bring your hand up to her mouth and kiss it.

Over all I think helaena is one of my favorite yanderes.

Daemon Targaryen

Daemon is chaotic. He will do anything to make you happy and almost begs for it. You know what he is capable of…But at the same time you don’t.

Like he will kill anyone who dares to say anything about you but he’s like a cannon and just bursts randomly. Like for instance one day you’re both enjoying food and the next second he chopped a guys head off.

Daemon kills a lot on your behalf and doesn’t even care if anyone sees or not.

Daemon for some reason wants to please and control. For instance he picks out everything you wear each morning and I mean everything. But he makes sure you have the finished materials and look amazing.

Will make you depend on him. He will make you feel so weak and small but in a mind game to make you see that you’re only safe with him. Little baby can’t do anything without him.

But all you have to do is give him puppy eyes and he’ll do anything. He will ride at night just to get you something across the world or maybe you just want a cookie? Doesn’t matter because you’ll get it.

Daemon likes to lay his forehead on you while hugging you from behind. I have noticed that every time he gives affection it’s by laying his forehead one someone. My man is really clinging and has to be touching you at all times but that’s also because he need to know your here and safe.

He follows you around ever where you go and if he has to leave then you have a whole pack of guards follow you around.

Aemond Targaryen:

Mans obsessed. Like I’m sorry but there isn’t thing you can do about it, he is constantly all up in your business.

You don’t get any alone time at all. He follows you around the castle as your guard. You can’t take a bath without him being in the room, sometimes he doesn’t let your maids come in because he doesn’t trust them. And if you need some help with washing he is happy to help and will treat you softly.

Aemond always felt like he didn’t deserve love or if he would ever find it until he saw you. So he was never go to let that love go away.

You are his everything. He always has you on his mind and he has to force himself to train but the whole time he’s thinking of how he can protect you.

Aemond is like daemon a lot because he will hurt anyone who says anything about you, though he just hurts them really bad at first. Unless someone hurts you or makes you cry because then their life will become a living hell. Sometime he will just kill them and not bother to do anything then goes to be with you.

He’s the type to be like this in a situation: You’ll say you need alone time and he just sits in the corner and reads and doesn’t leave.

“Aemond I said I wanted to be alone.”

“We are alone. I’ll be over here dear.” And just goes back to reading. He’s like that every time.

You know the gem he has in his eye? What if I told you he would change it to your favorite color.

Aemond is the type to lock you in your room if you disobey him but you’re not hurt and you get feed and everything but you can’t leave the room.

Aemond said he wanted Luke’s eyes as a gift? Yeah, he’s doing that to any guy that looks at you. Like he will show up and your door with a head or fingers. And don’t think he wouldn’t do this to a woman that looks like she has interest, she’s dead too.

Moving on he loves it when you sit on his lap and relax, like if you read and just do your thing but he likes having you so close. I see him as a neck or jaw kisser, soft or rough.

Will make marks on your skin to let everyone see.

Kuzan is definitely the type whose love language is lazing around together.

Do you think that gwen stacy is trans?

Yes, yes I do.

Now, the last time I talked about this I also mentioned I didn't see a point in making a post about it, because nothing I was going to say was going to be different than what you had probably already seen everywhere else.

That being said-

I had seen SO MANY idiots on the internet, to which I haven't replied (because I am also trans I used to know when or not to bother with people like that,) which had made me want to discuss the matter in my own words, even if I can't truly add anything new to the table.

So, I will probably do the same reasoning everyone else had already said, if anyone is still interested in reading it feel free, if not you can scroll. I will also address some common criticism of the theory.

Before we start the actual arguments, a few things.

No, I don't think if you believe Gwen is cis you are transphobic or something, as long as you are respectful.

I can't say how people see her or not, and while for me the evidence feels obvious, I know unless we have Gwen saying it (or someone close to her at least,) it cannot be sure one way or another. Remember that, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

I am fine if someone doesn't think she is trans, but I do think believing is IMPOSSIBLE for her to be is when you are entering transphobic territory. The reason why I think this is dumb, aside of the evidence; is the fact that if a character doesn't need to say I'm cis at any point to believe so, Gwen shouldn't need to say I'm trans for people to HC her as such or similar.

With that out of the way, let's start.

Going back to this image, we see that Gwen has a flag that says "Protect trans kids." Which to me feels like says a lot.

I had seen people suggest that "Of course she is an ally, she is a hero!" And while I could get Gwen being interested in helping people who face discrimination, since she deals with crime and such; the idea has me cackling more than anything else.

Is not impossible, but seriously, WHEN had you seen an ally with a flag in their room? It feels like an excuse someone who is in the closet would say; allies could have trans stuff or displayed in certain situations, but those situations tend to be in public, you know? Since being an ally means being vocal when you need to; there is really no reason for an Ally to have a trans flag in their room as decoration.

To top it all off, is on top of her door, not a window or anything, is obviously this is more for her than anything else.

George Stacy has a trans flag on his uniform.

This...This a really big deal honestly.

In a vacuum is a small gesture, perhaps if you aren't part of the community you don't get why I think this is amazing. So let me say a couple of things.

He is supporting his trans daughter; maybe is because of my family, or because all of my current trans and non-gender conforming friends have parents who range from shitting to not very supportive in general. So having Gwen be trans, still be a teen, and her dad supporting her? FUCK that means the world to me, even if I think he isn't that good of a dad.

This is in his uniform, this isn't just supporting Gwen in front of her, but also when she isn't around. You would be surprised how many parents say to be supportive but be quiet while hearing about discrimination. This also can lead me to believe he will be supportive when other trans individuals are around.

He is a cop. In real life, I don't feel safe around cops for a multitude of reasons I will not get to because I don't want to get too political here. Regardless, the fact that he is the Police Captain of his department while having this shows that he can be supportive of trans people, is huge.

Now, I know the next piece of evidence has been debated A LOT, especially for people who honestly, have clearly no idea how cinema, animation, or art work at all.

You know? Coding can be so funny at times.

There have been multiple times, when things had been coded on purpose, to the point I thought it was as subtle as a brick hitting your face; and yet I still find people who don't get it and just baffled me to not end.

Examples: Norma in Dead End Paranormal is coded as autistic, but it is never explicitly said on the show, (I think is mentioned in the comics? I know the creator is autistic.) However I never felt it needed to, because Normal has so many signs and hints that I clock her in the first episode, and the representation is so point it feels as if she needed to state she is a woman of color.

Nimona is another example related to the trans experience; seriously almost word for word what Nimona says can be applied to trans people, with the creator also being trans; and yet I was baffled to see some people saw the movie and didn't clock that.

Now, is what Gwen is saying in this scene talking about her experience being Spider-woman? Yes. However, just like Nimona didn't explicitly say she was trans, their entire story revolves around a trans allegory (As well as being likely genderfluid,) feels like is trying to say something.

Not to mention that this is a story, an animated one at that; everything you see on screen was put there by someone and animation tends to have fewer coincidences because you are going to be staring at this screen for a LONG time most probably. It was also noted by the crunch situation (which is again, horrifying and I think Chris Miller needs to find another way to work rather than wasting time and resources like he did,) that the writers had a tendency to tweak to make sure everything was on point; this couldn't have been thrown carelessly.

With all of this preface, Gwen's speech in this section? This could be played WORD BY WORD on a come-out speech.

"And they can only know half of who I am!" -> Having your real gender identity in the closet a lot of times feels like you need to hide half of who you are, from likings to aesthetics to even how you behave socially, it can be a big toll.

"So I'm completely on my own!" -> This is a common sentiment for people who are in the closet without support, because you are carrying all these feelings alone and have no one to understand.

"And now, I don't- I don't even know what the right thing is, anymore!" -> People may be a bit confused about this one, but believe it or not, it happens more often than you think. Should you transition? Should you wait a few years? Should you try to have this conversation with your parents, cousins, etc?

"But I know...I can't lose, one more friend." -> I don't think, I need to talk about how often people aren't supportive of trans individuals. I could talk more about this, but frankly, I don't need to. It happens, even to this day and age, especially in the current political climate.

To top all of this off, the reason why I singling this part (Aside from this speech being as subtle as the Ruby Gillman movie having the antagonist be a parody of Ariel.) Is the background.

The colors are just like a trans flag.

Now, I had seen people suggest that pointing at this is dumb because "that's just an homage to the covers!"

To which I said, no, this is the homage.

And what the background is doing with Gwen in the speech scene is definitely not the same thing.

I find this argument really funny from an artistic point of view, but in case people are wondering why I don't think it counts, let me number a few things.

The covers do this lighting situation OUTSIDE, they normally depict Gwen being around the city on a landscape when things happen, not indoors. This is both the covers and the sky in Gwen's universe. But we don't see indoor places doing this really.

The colors blend, while you can see buildings and windows have their own colours, you can also see them going from orange, to pink and red on the exact same wall.

If you want even more proof of my support, let me show you what the artbook says about this (which includes the covers.)

My point is, even if we try to argue that the covers had something to do; do you think in a movie where they already have Gwen had a trans flag, her dad had a trans patch; would have a moment when the speech mimics exactly the trans experience (or a big chunk for many people,) with the colors in the background being EXACTLY like a trans a flag, with creators and creative that they have STATED, the importance of color in Gwen's world and in Gwen specifically, somehow just choose colors at random at a pivotal moment of the movie?

And I am somehow the crazy one?

Biases

I like to believe I am a fair person, for the most part. Every time I do these analyses I try to be as impartial as possible, and when I know there is a chance my biases and personal opinion will come into hand, I said that much.

As I said before, I am trans, anyone who has seen at least my master post can probably guess I like Gwen. Having a character I dearly love be trans (Even if our situations are wildly different) obviously means the world to me, and perhaps I would have had a similar headcanon even without any hints or evidence.

Regardless, I don't think what I am saying is purely biased; things are put in movies for a reason, especially animated movies, and let me tell you something, has this been another character, especially if it was a new character? I don't think people would be debating this.

If we have a new character having a trans flag in their room, their dad having a trans patch, this narrative; I doubt anyone would be saying this is coding. (Honestly, we would probably have more dudebros saying this is woke garbage than the ones I had seen lol.)

Alternative theories

Now, since I have addressed the theory and some of its criticism, I can't just ignore the number of people had rather than thinking Gwen is trans, believe someone else is.

Theory 1: Peter is Trans

This isn't odd. Honestly if you had been part of the Spiderman community while being queer, or aware of queer readings, you would have probably come around to the fact that a lot of people headcanon Peter Parker as trans, in multiple different variants in different mediums.

Partially because the spidey-hero situation really mimics the trans experience (there is a reason why you can put Gwen's speech on a come-out scene while simultaneously being about her hero identity without either way sounding forced,) and depending on what source materials, other clues can apply. This post isn't about that and it is already extremely long, so I will not dwell on this.

With this theory in mind, Gwen and her dad would be having trans flag and patch in memory of Peter, since with this theory it was likely that was the reason he was bullied, and probably another reason why to experiment to become the lizard; since being bullied could make him feel like he needs to find a way to be more masculine.

And look, do I have a problem with people thinking Peter is trans? Not really, I encourage it, I personally like the idea that both Gwen and Peter were trans and they bonded over it.

However, I wouldn't want this to be in canon, why?... It feels like it would fall into some harmful stereotypes.

Think about it this way; if we go with this route, a trans teen was bullied, after showing he looks like he is kind of isolated (Gwen seems to have the band at least, Peter looks like he was a loner, and then Gwen started to put distance between them because Spider-woman issues.) Get's so desperate that in an attempt to be "special" (maybe even "better" and "stronger," if he felt he wasn't enough as he was,) tries to experiment with things he shouldn't dying in the process; to which Gwen and her dad then would try to fight for trans rights in his memory, as this theory also heavily implies Peter was bullied because he was trans.

And look, angst narratives had their place, and a lot of people like this narrative, heck I remember a book that does something similar (More than Gold is the name, tho the character doesn't die,) and that was written by a trans person.

Nonetheless, the idea to suggest the only trans person in this narrative, dies after ostracization and bullying, and their purpose on the story as a whole would be to fuel Gwen's pain, with the "protect trans kids" idea only happening partially because of her guilt; feels a lot like "bury your gays (or trans in this case,)" something akin to frigging (while Peter would obviously still consider a boy in this theory, having a character from a minority die to hurt/inspire a protagonist, feels deeply concerning.) Is just a combination of too many things that I dislike.

Again, if someone likes this idea I will not say they are a bad person or anything; but I would have fewer issues if it wasn't because a SIGNIFICANT number of those who said this theory, had also shown to be deeply transphobic; insisting Gwen is obviously not trans with non-arguments. Doesn't need to be everyone, but it still annoys me.

2. Captain Stacy IS the trans one!

This one is...interesting, to say the least.

This one is less frequent than Peter's, but I had seen it pop around enough that I decided to address it.

Unlike Peter's, this one doesn't carry horrible connotations. Well it would have the "only" (if we go with this theory and with no other "canon" trans parent in the story,) trans parent be also the one that tries to point a gun at his daughter, to also be so extremely stubborn even when she finally comes back he acts kind of petulant- okay all of these things are bad, however, they wouldn't need to be related to each other; since none of these are really stereotypes of trans men. That's something?

Anyways, the big idea behind this theory is that aside from being more plausible for an adult to use a trans patch because they are trans rather than because their kid is trans, it could be a possible explanation as to why there is no mom or mention of a mom, since this child could be in vitro.

Which, okay, not that bad; I don't think a lot of trans men would like the idea of being pregnant, however, it has happened before so why not.

I don't think this is a bad theory overall, I just don't roll with it because it feels kind of, lazy? Again, do as you may; but it feels that the people who did it were more interested in again, having an explanation for Gwen not being trans, while also not actively being transphobic. Maybe some people just want more trans dad content I don't know.

There are technically instances of both the Peter theory and the Dad theory that could dethrone both of these, but the one related to Peter makes me feel a bit gross to think too hard about, and the other George one could imply something things that one way or other I don't like when the reality is that is a few frames on a scene where the patch isn't the focus. Another reason is that hey, if I don't have solid evidence on my own, I am not going to nitpick at other fan theories.

Speaking of which.

Is this Representation?

Short answer: No, no it's not.

I don't even want to discuss if is good representation, because it doesn't feel like it is to begin with. Yes, I do believe Gwen is trans, but all the things I have are background references, that are okay, however not having a confirmation does sting. It doesn't have to be the focus of her character, yet is not even off comments really, just some clues around.

Do I think it doesn't have Merit? No.

I remember during the first days this movie was out, I read a comment from someone who was in Florida, who said when they saw the "Protect Trans Kids" flag in Gwen's room, started crying.

I think of myself, almost a decade ago, in a country that wasn't really welcome to gay people, much less trans people; of the discrimination I faced because of it. I think when I was a teen, grappling with all these feelings; and how I would had feel seen the badass and cool, Gwen Stacy as Spider-woman, having that trans flag in their room. I know I would have cried too.

We cannot act like things are perfect currently; the United States, England, and other countries are becoming increasingly transphobic; having these things in a PG movie, from a big company, that is released to a worldwide level and is making bank. Not to mention that as small as these details are, the movie did end up getting banned for it, not even censored.

I think we can get better representation, but it doesn't mean this is less huge or less special; even if it didn't touch me like it would have in the past, it had touched many people, and that's something I appreciate one way or another.

This is in itself, another reason why to love this idea.

Gwen being trans fits the themes of the story better

Stan Lee is obviously, talking about Spider-MAN, but it gets the message across doesn't it?

Part of the reason Spiderman became so iconic, was the idea that ANYONE could be Spiderman, this ended up involved in these movies too.

In Across the Spider-verse, we see multiple types of spiders, people from the future, and past, children, women, men, animals, and a popsicle at one point (literally.) The movie also has Miguel, who is the antagonist, convinced what makes them Spiderman/Spiderwoman/you get the idea- is decided by a cosmic force, with Miles claiming that Spiderman is an idea, a responsibility, but something much more diverse than "you need these events to happen in order to be considered truly spiderman."

In Into the Spider-verse, this idea is also shown, by having spideys that are not just Peter Parker, and how Peter while important, isn't truly the protagonist of this tale, he doesn't need to be.

This franchise hinders the idea that being Spiderman is more than a name, a gender, or your background; is about someone that when given the possibility of using their powers for their own gain or ignoring the call, decides to risk it all, to handle a difficult life, to try to do their best despite the circumstances; because the essence of Spiderman, is being a hero, and anyone can be Spiderman. Anyone can be a hero.

Gwen being trans, elevates this idea.

While I think having more Spider-woman content is empowering on its own, cis woman or trans, the idea of having a trans hero obviously exemplifies this idea more than having her absence.

If Gwen is a trans girl, it would mean having a trans girl who is a tridimensional character, a trans teen that messes up, that doesn't know what to do, but is also a hero, and wants to do her best like everyone else. It means showing a trans girl as someone beautiful, badass, and having a guy who adores her with all his might.

If the idea of having her Peter be trans could be problematic, having her be trans means having a great role model, means a story about trans joy where we are free to be more than our identities, because the idea of Gwen casually being a hero and also trans is amazing in its own.

Is not perfect, but I ultimately love this idea, because it brings me hope. It means comfort for some trans and trans teens suffering out there, it means perhaps someone out there will try to offer more stories on the big screen with trans teens.

I want to believe this because Gwen being trans means more for us and the narrative than it would be otherwise. Let us have our dreams.

Not really the play type, that’s more Mikey and Donnie's thing

He tries to be a good role model, though, not all the time

He's extremely sweet to your sibling, but don't get it twisted, he's not a pushover

unlike Donnie and Mikey who cave in at the first sign of pressure, and Raph who lets your sibling do anything they desire, Leo's the more level-headed one

"That seems dangerous...oh! how about we do xyz instead? Is that okay?"

He's also a really good talker. he knows how to talk to your 12 year old sibling. Not like a child, or a full-grown adult, either. He talks to them with respect, dignity.

tries to get them to be a mini-leonardo for some odd reason- but in a cute way! He'll suggest small things like a short meditation lesson or something like that.

Leo also is an avid tea drinker, he might try and get your sibling to try it. WILL show off his big tea box and talk about it for HOURSSS if given the chance.

When she first finds you crying, she'll definitely freak out a little. Kobeni didn't really have anyone to comfort her when she needed, but she knows what she would've wanted

Sitting down next to you, she twindles her thumb before asking quietly if you need a hug. Kobeni hugs you even before you respond.

Lets you stay in her arms with your head tucked into the space between her shoulder and neck. Drawing random shapes on your back until your ready to talk.

No matter what upset you, Kobeni is willing to listen. She mostly likely won't give a lot of response because she's trying her hardest to listen and not say anything that might upset you.

Im so sorry for the super late response!! Im not even going to question the heat pill and how it came from pitou 💀 at least tell me reader gave consent to being mutated and it wasn't something killua just decided for her….. I totally get being a Virginia and all, it's just that your other killua fics were a lot more detailed and longer. The neko one seemed more like it was done in a hurry. Don't want this to come off as me complaining though, because I know I'D definitely feel a little disheartened if one of my requesters told me they were disappointed with my work. It was fine, really! And anyway, anyone, even the best smut writer, has room for improvement :) I really appreciate that you'll let me know if you can do my request or not, not a lot of writers do that and it's really helpful, instead of just leaving me waiting and wondering. How do you think that would affect his relationship with reader? And if it isn't too much, how do you think his overall experience with his family effects it? Because I highly doubt after everything he's gone through that his relationship with the reader would be perfectly normal.

More about my modern bsd AU: Dorms edition!

Okay so after several months and a lot of traction on some posts I made with little factoids about this AU, I have finally decided (aka remembered) to post a bit more about it! (The AU doesn’t have an official name, so if anyone has any ideas feel free to suggest them!) This AU takes place at YPU (Yokohama Port University), where most of the main cast are studying. It’s based off of UK university, since that’s where I live and what I know, so the characters all live in flats in dorms together. Below is a terrible little sketch of the rough layout of where they live*:

Living in flat 1, we have:

Chuuya

Dazai

Katai

Fyodor

Atsushi

Higuchi

And in Flat 2, we have:

Kunikida

Nikolai

Sigma

Akutagawa

Louisa

It’s just as chaotic as you think it is.

Kunikida is the floor ‘mum’, constantly running around after the others to try and get them to clean, goddamnit!

Dazai is horrible at cleaning his stuff up, much to the bane of everyone else around him.

Gin goes over to visit Aku regularly, and Higuchi often tags along. Aku has on multiple occasions pretended to not be in when they do this.

Nikolai loves ot invade the other flats. Nobody knows how he does it, given that he doesn’t have a key, and Sigma or Kunikida always have to go there to drag his ass back to his own flat.

Nathaniel lives in the room between Nikolai and Mark. He is suffering.

Katai has horrific insomnia, and is so nocturnal that his flatmates had no idea he even lived there until Chuuya and Dazai walked in on him eating peanut butter out of a jar at 2AM while wrapped in his futon.

Mark is a whore and constantly brings people over to the flat. This results in a lot of creative attempts to get him to stop being so loud, including performing an exorcism in front of his door to ‘remove the horny spirits’.

Louisa, Gin and Katai have an informal book club where they talk about their favourite romance novels. Higuchi tried to join, but they kicked her out when she brought a Colleen Hoover book.

Chuuya and Dazai argue. A lot.

Dazai tries to get Atsushi to do most of his chores. Chuuya whacks him every time he does.

Dazai and Fyodor are the most passive aggressive flatmates to ever exist. Dazai will swap the sugar for his tea with salt and Fyodor drinks it while looking him dead in the eye, and asks for seconds.

Dazai once managed to swap Fyodor and Chuuya's hats. There are photos of the incident in the kitchen, as well as the grizzly aftermath (they teamed up and tackled Dazai to the ground until he apologised)

Louisa and Sigma are drinking buddies who have Suffered Enough at the hands of their flatmates.

Akutagawa has a tea shelf. Mark has mistaken the tea leaves for a really shite salad. Three guesses as to what he tried to eat for lunch.

Their fire alarm constantly goes off, and it is almost always Nikolai's fault somehow. Nobody knows how, including him.

HC: Arthur Harrow & His Mom Headcannon.

If Harrow still had his mother alive, how would that be?

"Especially knowing that the scales tumbled to red whenever he held her arm. He wanted to save her from that fate, and waited till either the scales would one day tip green, or she would have outlived her life and have long since passed."

This is my main HC, y'all. His mom's scales would tip red and he knows it! Yet he makes no mention of it to anyone, because he hopes she'll die of old age before Ammit arises, so he won't have to take her life with his own hands.

Other HCs about his mom:

His mom is still alive. He provides for her with money he's been given by his followers, making sure she's in the best nursery home and receiving the best care.

Let's assume she has actually been a good mom. Arthur thinks of her fondly.

She's been there for him when he was Khonshu's avatar, and right after. She supported him, knowing what horrid things he has done, and is proud of how he emerged from his experiences.

She loves the thought of having a grandchild, but has given up hope.

Age wise: Let's assume she's in her early eighties. Arthur being her youngest son and now in his early fifties (I just take the actor's age lol).

She wishes Arthur would visit her more often, but understands that he has his own life to live, and that his community is some kind of replacement family/chosen family that he needs to care for. Hence, why he hasn't the time to take her in and care for her himself.

Healthwise, she's pretty good mentally. But she has some physical complications going on caused by age that make her more fragile and less mobile. She understands that she would only slow her son down if she were to stay with him.

Besides, staying in his community is not an option. She knows her son wants to keep her a secret from his enemies. And she is at peace with that.

She constantly fears for him though. And hates that he punishes himself the way he does, with the glass and so on. Feel free to adapt any of these points in fanworks :) I was inspired by my own father and his mother, my grandma, whom he kept visiting on a weekly basis till she passed away last year.

AHHHHH yes of course! Such a great suggestion! 💖🫰 My girlfriend and I were actually talking awhile ago about what the boys would do at prom. I know you said any general school event, but you did specifically mention a Dance, so I'm going with Prom because it's the most recognizable event here in the states at least, ever haha! ...this might actually make it into the fic tbh...

Sans: Mr. Steal Your Girl

Didn't bring an official date (although Jonas did come as his Junior Plus One,) that comes with way too much pressure tbh, and he's too cool for that shit so... Instead, he's made it his personal mission to bag as many chicks in one night as possible. Why else come to a school dance? 🤨 What to have fun? Don't be fucking lame.

He brought his own alcohol and teachers are warily eyeing him about it. He's not subtle but no one's stopped him at all. He has too much audacity and not enough consequences.

He's definitely not wearing a full tux. He's got a black suit jacket, a black turtle neck and black jeans, and he knows he looks good too. He's dangerous.

“Excuse me, you look like you're bored out of your mind, care if I step in? Don't worry bro, I'll bring her right back.” The poor guy ain't gonna fight him. What, fight SANS!? AND FUCKING DIE TOO WHILE I'M AT IT?

Such a smarmy prick, but he's got the whole gym swooning after him. Every guy wants to knock his lights out but he's untouchable.

He's a decent enough dancer for a slow dance, and can lead without looking at his feet which counts for something. He's definitely not gonna bust a move, but he is gonna encourage some light grinding.

Although he doesn't spend most of his time dancing in fact, he's at the poker tables, doing some mock gambling with a crowd of ladies. Definitely teaching the girl right next to him how to play poker. He helps her win and she is all over him afterwards.

The guys are ANNOYED that he just ditched them to flirt with girls he definitely won't care enough about to call back the next morning but hey, who's gonna stop him?

He's not completely selfish though. The boys don't know but he's pointing some of them out and talking them up to some of the girls. What a fucking hero.

“Yeah you see my friend over there? He's fucking hilarious. He'll make you die laughing he's so funny. Such a goofball... You like goofy guys? You must if you're goin out with Morty, although... Morty's kind of a total cringefest. Like... I know a fake laugh when I see it, kid. You might be fooling Morty into thinking he's funny you're not fooling me. Go talk to Jonas. You'll love him.”

After he and some girl sneak off to the bathroom via teleportation and he's a little happier about the night (😏,) he comes back to the guys to deliver phones numbers and tales of his exploits.

Nick: Dual Class CD Solicitor & Dance Captain

He is using prom as not only an excuse to hang out with his friends, but also to sell their CDs and maybe, HOPEFULLY play a set for everyone! He has all of their equipment in a UHaul Van, COME ON PRINCIPAL GIVE US A CHANCE! We Promise we won't play any Heavy Hard Rock 🥺🥺

When a song he actually likes comes on the speakers, he reveals to the world that he's actually an INCREDIBLE dancer! He knows how to SWING DANCE! (His mom taught him)

Throw this man into a dance circle and he will bust out the double back flip into the splits bullshit you've ever seen.

Him and Jonas will dance together because they're both pretty good dancers and Jonas is the only who can keep up with Nick's energy.

The two are flinging each other around and all anyone can do is stand in a circle and cheer them on. It's the 90s and two guys dancing??? I mean it's not slow dancing or anything, thems is impressive! No one is weirded out by them thank God. I mean, if they had a problem with them, it'd probably be Monster related.

But Sans is just around the corner so ain't no one gonna be a bigot to their group.

A girl who's most certainly had a crush on him for forever, finally gets the courage to ask Nick to dance and he just smiles at her all sweet and asks if she knows how to swing. If not, he shows her a few basic moves and the two get to it. He doesn't ask for her number though, in fact he completely forgets that that's something a normal guy interested in girls would do. As soon as they're done he leaves her with a friendly goodbye and goes back to hanging out with his buddies, content as ever.

She definitely thinks he's gay after that (he's Bi and just so... Oblivious) ... He ruined her night without even realizing it 🤦🏼‍♀️ That girl is crying in the club because of him.

He would ask one of the admins if his band can play a song or two and gets denied every single time no matter what. He keeps insisting though, at one point practically begging.

Finally they're allowed to play ONE song (He went to Muffet and she put in the demand, ain't no one gonna tell Ms. Muffet no...)

Once Sans finally comes back, Nick rushes everyone on stage and they perform one of their more light hearted fun songs. It's a hit, obviously! Especially with the ladies.

All the other guys in the school are punching the air right now. Like, this friend group is too powerful.

Annnnd after the performance they fucking leave. They dip immediately and go get drunk in some parking lot.

Alphys: Awkward Lesbian™

Too many pretty girls.

She and Maeve opted to be each other's dates, but Maeve is off playing black jack with Midas so she's stuck at the punch bowl.

The punch bowl has obviously been spiked, and Alphys knows exactly who did it, but ain't no way she's ratting.

In fact? It's honestly a win. Why would she want to be sober at Prom?

Having gay panic every single time she sees a girl in a beautiful prom dress.

Alphys was convinced to wear a dress and is now trapped in a dress very similar to the one from Never Been Kissed. (If you know you know.) She's wearing sneakers with it though because of course she is :)

She is gorging herself on cupcakes too. In fact, the entire snack table has been turned into her stress, drunk eating buffet, the poor Baby!

Maeve comes to check on her and the two go dance with each other as well. Again, no one fucking messes with them because if they did they'd be dead in a dumpster from the reaper.

As a complete opposite to Nick, Alphys is the worst dancer, she has two left feet and constantly steps on Maeve's toes. She's always apologizing and Maeve is ever so patient with her. It's a good thing Alphys is tipsy off spiked punch now, otherwise Maeve would've never been able to convince her to dance.

As the night comes to a close and the boys climb up on stage, she retires back to the punch bowl. Prom is shaping up to be so awkward and...

“Ugh, they're letting a rock band play? God this is lame.” Alphys staggers over herself to defend her boys and comes face to face with the prettiest, most chiseled fishy face ever... Red braids towering her head.

Instantly she becomes a stuttering mess. Obviously. Pretty gorwl... But the spiked punch gives her that courage she needs to actually be able to talk to her. AND SHES TALKING BACK!?

This girl is obviously Undyne; she's a freshman in college, but was invited as her cousin's plus one so that the poor guy wouldn't be alone.

The two sense the sapphic vibes from each other and instantly hit it off. Undyne takes her to play poker, they dance, they get to know each other, it's soooooo sweet!

At the end of the night when the boys head out to leave, Maeve comes to find her and asks if she wants to join. Alphys decides to stay to hang out with Undyne. Maeve is instantly their biggest supporter, I mean come on.

She had no expectations for prom and then found her soul mate 🥹

Undyne takes a drunk Alphys home, and as a college student who is an expert on holding ones liquor, she helps her stay hydrated, gets her meds so she doesn't puke in her sleep, and helps put her to sleep.

Jonas: Lover boy

Much like Sans, Jonas is here for one thing: Girls.

He also didn't bring a date, and it's exactly for the same reason as Sans - In fact, as much as Jonas would never admit it, Sans is his unofficial Dating Sensei. (This is awful, wdym there's two of these fuckers!?)

He just doesn't have the untouchable suaveness that Sans has, so instead, he relies on being an adorable goofball which... It also works pretty well in his favor.

He also steers clear of taken girls. He doesn't want to start shit. I mean... Could he knock someone's lights out? Of courses but that's just so barbaric. Lycans already get enough shit.

Because Sans is kind of his role model, Jonas is also not wearing a complete suit. He's only got the nice button up and a loose tie around his neck. It's a good look for him, it's super cute.

Obviously, he's also an exceptional dancer as one of the other athletic guys in the group. Where Nick does swing, Jonas is super good at the Lindy Hop, an amazing improviser.

He's also super competitive so, Nick busts out a back flip, so does Jonas. Nick starts swinging, Jonas starts twirling and throwing him around on the dance floor until the circle's been formed and there's nothing these guys can do but keep dancing.

Once they're finally done, Jonas is amazed by how many girls want to dance with him. They're also surprisingly good humored and laugh at all his jokes. Wow he's really good at this!

The girls love being twirled around by him, dipped, lifted and tossed around. He's so energetic and has really great stamina, plus he's not embarrassed at all.

Sometimes he'll seek Sans out while Sans is making out with someone and just bum his flask off of him for some more ~liquid courage~

(not that he needs any. That guy has no shame whatsoever.)

He would definitely make a dirty joke to a girl who he didn't realize was already with someone and get slapped. Nick would immediately come to defend him but Jonas would be like "no I deserved that, I'm sorry."

Always wondering where Midas is because those two are like pees in a pod and is the only one who notices Midas and Maeve exclusively hanging out with each other. "huh, 🧐 cool! 😄" *does not question it at all*

You know he adores performing and being in the limelight. He's so excited about everything and loves all of the attention.

After they leave to their little friendship after party, he gets black out drunk and does a lot of stupid shit that the boys will be talking about til the day they die.

Midas: The Prom Demon Legend 😈

You all saw this one coming.

He is the one the teachers are always keeping their eye on. They know Sans has a flask, but Midas is definitely hiding something and he's up to no good!

At first he stuck with Jonas and Nick, but got bored when they started to dance. Dancing isn't his favorite, he might knock his sunglasses off so...

Instead he's just lurking the gym and when Nick starts begging the teachers to let the band play, he slips in and the bastard spikes the punch Alphys can thank Midas for everything that happens from there on out 😎 unintentional cupid.

Maeve & Midas run into each other after the successful Punch Spiking of '96. Obviously they stick with each other and go play black jack.

Midas is terrifyingly good at black jack. For a game entirely based on luck, he seems to win every damn time. Definitely suggested they actually start gambling and promptly shut down by the teacher.

“Well I don't know I'm feeling lucky tonight, how bout you guys?" "Midas, no sir.”

Maeve and Midas would go outside so that Midas could start smoking. They share a blunt together as they joke about everyone in the group being complete goobers.

Those two absolutely dance high together outside to muffled music. It's surprisingly romantic, but that's what prom is all about right?

If someone misgenders Maeve, Midas gets really pissed off and threatens to turn them to stone. Almost gets in trouble because of this, but Maeve is there to talk the admin down

Probably the reason the teachers were apprehensive about letting the band play. He's a little bit of a problem child 🤪

I'd say for him at least, the night is a success, and he goes down in legend as not only the most wicked keyboard player of all time, but also the legendary punch spiker, King of Prom.

They all leave before Prom King and Queen can be announced. Fuck that noise.

Midas makes Maeve a little paper crown while they're all drinking in the parking lot and declares her his personal prom queen.

Maeve: Paper Prom Queen 👑💖

Obviously we already know she and Alphys came as dates. Maeve is dressed in a prom dress she made herself.

It is perfectly fitted to her.

She gets a lot of weird looks, obviously from being a trans woman in the 90s, but she's also a big Lion Monster who is ALSO friends with a reaper so, again, no one's gonna say shit to her, and she's not going to take it.

Besides, she wears skirts to school all the time, even before she transitioned so it's not like it's something she's never done before. And she WORKS IT.

She's out in the crowd complimenting everyone's dress and their corsages. Always gassing other girls up and making them feel like the princesses they all are. Maeve of course is the queen of all of them.

She really wants to join Nick and Jonas to dance, but her heels are a little too tall for the kind of dancing those goobers are doing.

She finds Midas eventually and the two stick to each other's hip like lichen. She's always impressed by him, especially at the black jack table.

Where Midas is always winning, she's always losing but is a super good sport about it.

Covered for Midas when the teachers started asking about the spiked punch.

When they're outside she definitely wanted to confess she had a little crush on him but didn't want to ruin their moment so she just enjoyed herself.

They slow danced to Head over Heels by Tears for Fears, of fucking COURSE they did.

All female drummers are the hottest thing ever, so she definitely got a lot of under the table interest from some other guys but she didn't pay any of them mind. Why would she if they're gonna be fucking weird about it?

She's only got eyes for one guy who unfortunately, she can not look in the eye.

Her heart is literally bursting out of her chest when he crowns her paper queen though. One, it's literally so gender affirming for her and two, she's head over heels. 🥺🥺💖💖

You're honor... I love them.

Rules of Our Discord Server

Disclaimer: We know people are likely tired of having to read through another set of rules when joining a server, but we want this to be a safe space for everyone. That means that some rules that should not have to be mentioned, because they are common sense, need to be addressed anyway. Not everyone that is using the internet and off age knows how to behave. That being said:

Please be sure to read through the rules thoroughly. If there are any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to bring them up.

Our Server is only for people 18+ because of its sensitive nature. It is no longer invite only, but I hope that anyone that reads till the end of this rule page will respect our wishes of only joining if they are of age in their respective countries.

What happens in the server, stays in the server. Not everyone wants it to be known that they are an Ardynoct fan or feel comfortable in other ways sharing it outside. So please respect that.

Don't spread or give out any personal information that's been said inside the server, **including** the member list. Always ask permission first if you intend to share something from inside this server that has not been put out yet.

Be respectful. Everyone is here to have a good time talking about Ardynoct. Any forms of harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry and the likes thereof will not be tolerated.

This is fine, but making a habit of it can send the wrong message that this behavior is okay, and can make it difficult for people to want to reach out to you to chat. We recommend muting the server as a whole.

What belongs where?

We all know that this ship is often anything but sunshine and roses so there is more than one nsfw channel here. Confusing, right? First of all, no one's gonna chop your head off when you accidently post in the wrong nsfw channel but please move it to the appropriate one if asked to do so.

We expect people to use their own judgment most of the time for what goes where, but for a general rule of thumb:

Is it hornier than 50 shades of gray? ABO? Furries? tentacles? into -> extra spicy

There's blood? Maybe even gore? into -> dark

We're also highly encouraging the use of spoilers and content warning on sensitive topics. Some things are more upsetting than others for different people.

Art. Please use links to the original art and repost art because it is easier. It is not enough to add the name of the artist. We want to get as much exposure as possible! If you found the art reposted on another site and weren’t able to find the original post, it is okay to post, asking others for help in finding the source. We’d only ask that it gets deleted after the right link has been found and posted. It won’t always be possible, because some art has been deleted by the original artists but please try to honor the work they put into giving us amazing and FREE art by putting some effort into finding the source.

Promotion. Everyone is allowed to promote any channel, social media, art, zines, whatever really.

What we do ask is that if you intend to post about the same thing more than once, delete the older posts and not promote the same thing more than once a week. Aka don't spam.

Hello my lovlies! Some Updates for Everyone!

Hey so I have a few announcements for you all on this blog I'd like to share.

So many of you may have noticed that I have turned on the tipping option here on my blog. It has been something I have been debating on turning on here or not. I would like to make it very clear that as much as I would apricate tips, I don't want anyone to feel that they have to. I recently quit my job and am looking for a new one I am only going to have this option on for the brief period of time I hope it takes to find a new job. I would also appritiate that if you would like to tip that you do so using the link at the top of my blog instead of on any of my posts. I know that reposts don't allow tipping but I would not like to be tipped for any of my fanfiction or my HCs. Those are free works I do for fun for anyone who asks. I would A. Never ask for money for someone else's property. B. Never ask for money for something I have loved doing for free in the past. So please feel free to continue sending in HC requests as nothing has changed.

Speaking of fanfiction I have to once again apologize for the delay on my newest Metalocalypse fanfic. I have been through hell in the last few weeks and honestly just needed this time to recover and figure things out. Fortunately I have and I am very excited to say that I will be publishing the first Chapter to Deep Purple tomorrow evening, a fic centering around the creation of and tragedy of Mr. Salacia. I am very excited to be posting this to AO3 as I have been working on the plot for months trying to perfect it.

As a celebration and a breather from my work I am going to be taking 3 Fanfiction Requests from you all. I'm only offering 3 slots so please DM me for more information about this if you are interested.

I have also been dedicating some time to starting a new side blog that I have recently revealed on here in one one my sunflower rants with @thatwritingho. @mental-harmony Is a blog dedicated specifically to teaching and reinforcing positive mental health. I am using some of the skills I learned over the years in my own therapy sessions to teach others who may not be able to afford therapy or who may not have access to a therapist. Let me be clear I am not a licensed psychologist nor a therapist myself I am simply a person who has struggled in the past with my mental health and knows how hard it can be to figure out what actually works and what doesn't for me personally. I have suggestions and asks open over on that blog as well if anyone has any mental health suggestions or they have anything to add that maybe I didn't immediately think of myself. My philosophy in life is that two minds are always better than one.

Haruka Kiritani

Their relationship would be most likely through idol career since that's mostly how they met in the first place... I mean... it's technically perfect but at the same time very risky! Eimi can't let it show too much to not loose her job and Haruka can't let it show because it'll go all around the internet in just a second!

As for their match... they're both rather calm and hardworking but also caring for others! So I just feel like they'd watch out after each other to make sure none of them is overworking themselves. They're also really quiet and rarely affectionate couple but actually really sweet!

"Haruka, you've been working out for 2 hours straight... let's take a break now, I'll give you a massage."

"Was it this long? Wel... alright. Even if I decline, I know you'll be persistant..."

"Ah- I'm sorry... I simply care about you. So I'd say it'd be the best if you stop for now or even today and we could get some comfort food after the massage?"

"Then best to order it! I didn't took my disguise with me today..."

Mafuyu Asahina

This choice might be surprising for some and I'm gonna spoil some backstory here but I want to give accurate hcs so! but both of the girls actually have bad relationship with their parents. Eimi is just noticing they're actually bad while Mafuyu stays slightly oblivious to that fact so far. And while purple haired girl can get emotionless in a second and actually shows her true self, green haired girl has small problem with that... untill she got into relationship with Mafuyu! She began trusting her and now just she knows her worries~

As for their relationship... they're helping each other in different ways! Eimi offers her girlfriend a place to stay when she decides to run off or have a break, while Mafuyu let's her lover get her emotions out into her shoulders and give her advices, and speak words she needed to hear.

"So, are you running away for good or did you made sleepover excuse again?"

"Sleepover."

"Fair enough. I'm happy to have you around then~"

Emu Otori

Chaotic ray of sunshine and her calm girlfriend who get's her out of trouble... that's relationship between them! But they're so different... you may ask yourself, how did they even got together? Well... Eimi fell for pink haired girl's childishness and how she can always brighten the mood! While Emu fell for green haired girl's ability of never being tired from her ideas and always indulging in them, thinking of better solution instead of straight up rejecting them, it showed she cares!

Plus, Emu doesn't need to worry about her family accepting Eimi, since she's naturally pretty formal and from rich family so she knows how to make good first impression. In fact, they may've even trusted their youngest sister when her girlfriend's around!

"Won... Wonderhoy, Eimi! Gues what I got for us today!!"

Wonderhoy, Emu~ Well... I'd guess it has something to do with the taiyaki you're hiding behind your back?"

"AH- How did you know?!! But yes! I wanted to have super fun date with you before show starts!"

Shiho Hinomori

Similiar with first pairing... both have actually rather similiar personalities! Not as much, but still rather similiar... except! Eimi is usually gentle with her remarks and suggestions, while Shiho can be considered a bit cold sometimes... but that never was a problem to green haired girl! In fact, she liked how she didn't hid anything nad spoke her mind out. As for gray haired girl... she liked dedication of the other girl towards her profession and the perfect advices she always gave.

And their relationship... both usually settle on quieter date's, when both can work on their stuff usually handholding or Eimi having her hand on her lover's lap if she's playing on bass. The manager is also working free for Leo/need since she can't help but help with their grow when she sees them and her girlfriend so motivated!

"Hm hm hm hm~♪"

"Peaky Peaky?"

"Yeah... but how did you know? I played it once to you and in it's demo..."

"I tend to remember your songs~"

On Law, Lies and Love

Hi! I will once again be (gushing) talking about Trafalgar Law.

Setting some ground lines; I am a manga reader, and as the anime is based on the manga, I consider manga canon, with everything else being in different levels of canon-ified fannon. (ie, if something happens in the anime that isn’t in the manga, like a filler or a movie, I view it as “friendly suggestion” rather than canon). That being said, I do enjoy watching the anime reactions on yt, so I will be taking things that I noticed in the anime into this… “character study” (for lack of a better word). A fair warning; I’m Swedish, so English isn’t my first language (so apologies if I use words wrong). I don’t speak Japanese either, I do know some stuff, but again, apologies if I misunderstand anything here.

Deep dive into Laws psyche after the cut;

Let’s dive deeper into how I view Laws character/personality in the manga/show. Specifically towards the topic of “love” and “lies”, who I think has an extremely complex (if not convoluted) relationship with.

Let’s go into something that might be a bit of an HC for me, it’s based on little hints throughout the series, so I don’t begrudge anyone that would disagree… and that is; that Law is, in fact, incredibly gullible. It’s only the fact that life basically kicked him in the face- twice- before the age of 14 that has him extremely suspicious and distrustful about anything and everything he hears.

And the fact I bring this up is because it all ties back into the discussion about love and lies.

So Law was born into an environment that not only looked magical and beautiful, but where (I believe) he grew up into something as close to an utopia I feel anything could be in the world of One Piece. There was no classism, no racism (though I think that might be because I doubt that there was much diversity in Flevance), health care was free, jobs and education plentiful and nothing to complicate someone’s desire to chase either of them. Religion was a cornerstone of their way of life (viewing their ways of life as a blessing from God).

In every way imaginable, a tightly knit community viewing their compassion and love for each other as perhaps a greater source of pride than the metal that had made their country so wealthy in the first place.

That’s how Law grows up. And due to his gullible nature, he takes it all in. People are fundamentally good and kind, because of course they are, that’s what he’s been told. It’s one of the fundamental truths of the universe as far as Law’s concerned. It’s the privilege of a human being to be kind and humble, to help others in need isn’t a virtue, it’s something fundamental that makes people people. It’s a blessing and gift from God, to be able to help and be there for others.

So Law, as a small child, takes all he’s taught and for many, many years, questions nothing and takes all his little responsibilities with the outmost seriousness.

He brings home hurt animals (and sometimes people), when Lami is born he decides that he too wants to be a doctor, just like his parents. His parents that he loves and cherish more than anything else in the world, Lami quickly rising to a close second, though Law thinks she’s in a special category, one just for her. (His parents laugh and explain what he’s feeling and his role as an older brother, Law swears then and there that he’s going to protect Lami no matter what.)

Time flies, and one day an mysterious disease starts rearing its ugly head. Law is confused, and slowly getting more and more scared as the numbers grows. One day a border wall is built around the country. He watches as the navy comes to take the royal family away and at first he’s confused, he thinks that maybe they left to get help, but they never come back, neither the royal family nor the navy. No help comes from the world at all. In fact, it’s the opposite. The borders are completely closed, no one can get out, no food or aid is getting in either.

Law worries, but his parents tell him to have faith, they are fighting to find a cure… surely once they find the cause, the cure won’t be far behind, and this whole nightmare will be a thing of the past. Law believes them, because he knows that they would never lie to him or hurt him.

Well, they eventually find the cause of the outbreak. It’s the very thing that made them rich and allowed Flevance to become known throughout the world as “the pride of the North”. They don’t understand, the metal was supposed to be safe to mine, all attempts to get help from the outside world is met with cold and damning silence. They’ve more or less abandoned Law to take care of himself and Lami, all their efforts and energy is poured into trying to find something, some way, to save the people afflicted, to save their children’s lives.

Law puts his whole faith into his family, into the God he was raised to worship, he doesn’t know why they are afflicted the way they are, but he refuses to disbelieve either God or his parents. They are his corner stones in life. They will pull through.

He spends most of his time repeating this to himself, to Lami, and he works hard doing anything and everything he can to try and help his sister.

He’s not a doctor (not yet, he tells himself) but he knows how important hope and belief is to a patient. So he tells Lami what she needs to hear to keep her spirit up, even if he has to lie to do so. He’s certain that any negative impact the lies will cause will be worth it as long as Lami recovers. He prays everyday for God to show mercy on them and help them in their need.

Law stays by his sister’s side nearly every waking moment. He will sometimes sneak out to meet the Sister of the church when Lami is asleep in the hopes that the prayers in the church will reach God better, or to ask for guidance and advice (Law doesn’t go to his parents, he’s terrified he’ll distract them from finding a cure).

Otherwise his days consist of sitting by his sisters side, holding her hand and giving her whatever help or assistance that he can offer to alleviate her suffering. Sometimes when it’s really bad (or more often after all the painkillers and other medications that helped with the pain had run out) he’d crawl into bed with her and gently cradle her little body as he’d sing softly to her.

While all this is happening, Law is afraid, he is terrified, but he can’t show it, he needs to be strong for Lami and he doesn’t dare ad to his parents woes by letting fear tear him down. No, he has to be strong, he can’t let the fact that he’s just a scared little child cause his parents to falter in their desperate search for the cure. If he breaks, they will worry, even more than they already do, and then who will care for Lami? Law is positive that his parents only have the power to devote themselves to the research as they do because they believe that Law and Lami will be okay with each other. But if Law can’t stay strong, how can he care for Lami and keep her strong? How can he keep his parents strong and confident that the only thing they need to focus on is curing the disease if they have to worry about their children or split their efforts between research and caring for Law and Lami?

No, Law would rather his soul be damned for all eternity than risk being the reason his parents don’t find the cure in time (because there is a cure, Law is certain, his parents told him not to worry, and therefore there’s a cure, Law knows)

It’s only when night falls and Lami sleeps and Law is alone and desperately trying to keep the fear he feels clawing at his chest by praying or checking on his parents. If they are busy he usually sneaks out to talk to the Sister in their church. He often confesses to her about the fear that threatens to make him crumble and she always listens to him with the same kind, understanding smile she always has, before reminding him that god sees, god hears, and god cares. She praise Law for his goodness and caring heart, and that god will reward him and give him the strength he needs to overcome this ordeal, all he needs to do is believe and ask.

Law always leaves the church feeling better, like something inside him has strengthened, and he carries his head high in hope and belief in god, in the Sister, and in his parents. Determined to not let something as silly as fear cause him to doubt everything he knows and loves.

But on the nights when Lami isn’t the only one who is sleeping, Law usually tries to tuck in the exhausted bodies of his parents. He tries to shuffle the papers into neat little piles so that it’s not a total mess when his parents eventually wake up again. He tries to not pay attention to the stuff that is written on those papers, but he’s always been a curious child and he’s so, so desperate for anything that can be good news, a breakthrough, anything.

But the stuff in the papers are damning stuff. He lears about the real truth about the disease. It’s not a disease at all, but poison. He learns that Lami has less than a year left to live. He learns that he will be dead and gone long before he’s even 15. He learns that there’s no cure…
