I do wonder whos idea andrea was. Because i do kind of like that now the honeybee in caters to ppl of all tastes, has men and women working there, the teacher from aeriths area was proud to get a job dancing there (which is just kind of a nice not negative depiction of wanting to work at a night club/burlesque whatever the honeybee inn is going for). And andreas like im all for expression and gender shouldnt limit that, always do what you want. Which is a nice lil message off the cuff. And hes treated just as nice and ridiculous Mini Boss as the other of the Big Three. Theres old people and young ppl who saved up to go to the honeybee in, a young man talking about hoping the honeyboy remebered him, another guy mentioning a honeygirl and the flowers he sent, no real gender or sexuality or ageist bias in the honeybee inn! Theres also just like. A generally supportive atmosphere of xustomers lf all walks unashamed to be there, which is a bit different then the All Guys clientel drooling over women and swarming aerith outside in the original

(however its missing the bath scene, the reference to an orgy and to more overt sexual acts - where the original leaned into lewd, the remake kind of downplays the honeybee inn to Dancers who do Entertainment in Private rooms but... its not risking full on indicating theyre having sex the way the original did. Which is. A loss in its own way, as theres definitely things the reality of a brothel in the slums under the plate adds to worldbuilding, to how Aerith grew up, to why Don Corneos area of the slums feels more like the risque and wild part compared to Tifas sector thats just a rather tame small town)

So like. Mm. The changes definitely Change the flavor of worldbuilding in some ways. This area feels a bit different (as in don corneos area of the slums), and the collesium also adds that different flavor. (Ive been playing tol much Yakuza lately and it like gives a more Kamurocho as Kiryu vibe now... kiryu treats host clubs of men and hostess clubs of women pretty equally, theyre for Entertainment but not brothels, kiyru and majima both do those kind of quests thatd feel equivalent to dancing or putting on a show, so like... remakes version of the honeybee in feels more like a modern host club maybe, with a city customer clientel that doesnt judge each other and sees it as The Best club. Versus original honeybee inn that felt a lot more like mainly a brothel catering to rich men, then men who could get in, with special services for customers with more niche needs like the bath or like Palmer and other particular requests. This new one, Aerith could go in and book a room with a honeyboy or honeygirl or both and ? I assume get entertained and a flirty date sort of ordeal. Yes im reading too much into this lol. Just fascinating to me the differences they made. I think Andrea was overall a positive addition, himself personally, but the changes he entailed alsl change the entire atmosphere of wallmarket into something CLASSY when the original game kind of used honeybee inn to show how Dangerous and Adult wallmarket was, how there were less rules there, and so when you get to don corneo and a sex dungeon and an Actual Dungeon and hear hes kidnapped and imprisoned girls youre less surprised cause the place has felt like and area all kinds of people could get kidnapped, sold shoddy deals, and laws arent maintaining anything only money is. With ALL of the new Big Three in wallmarket, in the remake it feels more classy more organized and more like a visit to Vegas or Kamurocho rather than a lawless Don controlled area).

Okay so after reading through it, I have decided that your haikyuu matchup is:

Okay I’m gonna be honest with you, reading this I had a few people in mind. I ultimately decided on Sugawara, but it was a hard choice lolol. After like 30 minutes of thinking and concluding, here are all the reasons why I match you up with him.

The first thing that really made my mind click was when you mentioned you’re a shy person, and that it takes a bit of time to open up to people. Knowing Sugawara, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He isn’t super open himself, unlike the more, uh, energetic members of the team (cough Nishinoya cough Hinata cough Tanaka.) He’s more mature, and mellow. He tends to analyse both situations and people very well, as shown from his matches where he works to strategise for the team. Upon meeting you, he could already read through you like a book just by observing your daily interactions with other people. How you tend to stay quiet in class, only answering questions if the teacher picked on you. The way you fiddle with your fingers while talking to groupmates you’re not close to. How you act like a different person around your best friends, where you’re the complete opposite from your usually bashful and shy self. By using that information, he was able to form a very good friendship with you, and eventually becoming closer to you.

Another thing that really stood out was how you stress eat a lot due to your anxiety caused by school and studies, and how you need someone to stop you in time. Sugawara is literally perfect for this job. This man has good grades, which means that he can definitely help you with studying, which can maybe take away some of the stress that comes with it. Plus, his notes are super organised, are colour coded, and filled with diagrams. In other words they’re even better than the textbooks issued by your school. You could probably only study his notes and ace your test with flying colours. In addition to that, he’d probably check up on you from time to time, especially when exams start to near. He learned of your stress eating when he saw you studying once with 7 whole cup noodles downed on your desk. He eventually understood more about the issue, and since then, he’s been constantly checking up on you, making sure you’re not eating your stress away. He would note down the times where he had to FaceTime you and check, and would offer to come over and study with you if you ever needed it.

I mean, judging by his personality, we all know he’s the mom friend. Like I imagine him bringing everyone food and treating them to lunch and stuff like that. You being able to bake? Perfect. He’d come over like every single week to bake cookies or cupcakes with you to bring to the team. He loves how focused you are on the ingredients in front of you when you’re cooking. He loves how this is the only time your hair is messily tied up, loose strands dangling in front of your face while you try not to spill the flour all over the counter. He’d be like your personal assisstant when you guys cook, helping you measure out ingredients, preheating the oven for you, lining baking trays etc. Every single time you guys bake, it ends up becoming a flour fight that ends up with the kitchen becoming a complete mess. At least the cookies are delicious. You guys make extra batches just so you can bring them to the team (who btw love the cookies to death, even Tsukishima, but he’d rather die than admit it.)

Today was a mixed bag. I was. Pretty devastated last night. James came over around 1030 and i was. Packing for vacation. And trying to distract myself. I was just hollow. We laid down and then i startrd talking. And i was sobbing. And i couldnt stop. And like every hurt I had felt, and a bunch I didnt realize hurt me, came out. I was a complete mess. It was horrible.

Eventually I calmed down. I sent my mom a text. And was able to sleep. But when i woke up i started crying again. Felicia sent me a message. And she's hurting so bad. And I couldn't go to the museum and put on a cheery face. I texted my manager that i was having a family emergency and went back to sleep.

I woke up again at 1030. I had cereal and tried to not to be so rattled. I was having like hot and cold flashes. I tried to be okay.

I got 711 for lunch. Went to work. I spoke to Tiffany about what was going on and shes going to reach out to someone she knows to see if we can get some family services stuff for Felicia and my family and get sime help. Im to far to be there but I can research and i can try to help in this way.

It was a pretty good day. I took the art down from the halls so the kids could take it home. And they did a really good job at finishing their self portraits. I went around helping them add details. And I was proud of them. It helped me feel more grounded.

We finished up the day with a critique. One lf the best ones weve had. It was good. We finished up and cleand and off we went.

I talked to Marcus about stuff. We have similar backgrounds with family stuff. So it was nice to talk to him.

The bus took forever though. I ended up walking up to the other bus. But I was out there for almost a half hour again. Annoying. Once i got off the bus i went to the market and got stuff to make lasagna.

I got home. Put that in the oven. And got a shower. James came for dinner. And he just left. The food was good but I was cold and im tired. Im looking forward to sleep.

I have a meeting in the morning. And then a free day. Im going to go to wholefoods. And just enjoy a quiet day to myself.

i am jealous. i am envious. i am ignored. i am used.

why is it that i always do things for everyone else, but when i want something i am ignored? i always have to do this and i have to do that. i wanted to move to university. i was shamed and made to feel guilt until i gave up that to live at home. my neighbor’s son got to move to university and even though his parents miss him, they are ultimately proud of him and are happy for him. why can’t that happen to me? am i undeserving? am i unworthy?

my opinion doesn’t matter. what i think doesn’t mean shit. i am always forced to do things i don’t want to do. if i go against it, i am emotionally manipulated until i do what they say. they make me feel guilt by saying things like “oh of course, you don’t care about your brother, he is only your half-brother” and shit like that. well, doesn’t anyone care about me? am i nothing in this family? does anything i do mean anything anymore?

i always try to never intervene in family arguments. because ultimately what i say doesn’t mean jack shit. no one couldn’t care less what i have to say. so why should i offer my thoughts if it’s just going to be ignored anyway?

i am not excited about the future. i used to be. i have college paid off for essentially. i have good grades. i can get a job easily when i graduate, regardless of what they have to say. but all i can think of is the reality. i have to get up very early to drive to school to sit through traffic. i’ll have so much homework that i am unsure of how i am going to handle that along with driving at least 2 hours everyday. i feel like i am going to die of exhaustion. i feel like either i’ll barely make it or die trying. why can’t people see i have needs too?

im always told that if i have a problem, i can tell them. but whenever i do, they just chalk it up to me not appreciating what i have and to get over it. this is why i don’t bother talking about anything with them anymore. i can never complain. i don’t have the right to feel sad because everything is given to me. mental illness is not real. i am weak.

why doesn’t anyone care about me?
