his Frankenstein's Monster costume turning his face (and hands. ha, hands, like the hands on a-) half yellow half blue/purple like the clocks & Sally's door. that's fucking me up a little ngl

Eddie tacks "A bit of a moral conundrum-" onto his description of Frankenstein's Monster, who he's costumed as. which seems out of place with the rest of his description. he could've said "bolts" or "white streak in his hair" or another physical trait. nope. Moral Conundrum (one could also describe his costume as "two-faced"...). and the fact that he's dressed specifically as someone who was "brought back from the dead" makes me 👁️👁️. kinda reminds me of a certain set of artworks from Clown's tumblr a while back...

Eddie, despite his whole schtick being "bad memory", was the only one to accurately recognize Sally's costume as pedrolino from the Commedia dell'arte. could be a little 'inside joke', might be something else. i suspect it's something else due to his... ah... Everything.

Tress scratched the best itch for me, I’ve been craving a good fairy tale and it was just perfect. I kept slipping so hard into the fairy tale aspects that I kept getting caught by surprise whenever a cosmere thing stopped beating around the bush and revealed itself, actually. While I’m sure that wasn’t fully the intention, it was a really fun way to read some brandermansanderman coming fresh off of sunlit man and how intensely locked in I was with the Connections. Genuinely Tress is such a fun little romp. I love girls who sail in fucked up seas and this is a genre I want more of please thank you.

im thinking of changing my name again because im cursing at my 14 year old self who picked this random white name for me to live with now so ive been researching traditional Sakha names to get it right and apparently before the russians came and fucked up all our shit with their taxes and christianity, it was the norm for every Sakha person to change their name in their lifetime if not twice, then three times, and who knows if maybe more

basically, the newborn Sakha in the pre-christianity era would be given a name right away after birth like all kids, but once they grew up and started exhibiting individual traits they would be given a descriptive nickname which could describe pretty much anything about a person - positive characteristics, negative characteristics, physical quirks, facial features, body type, age, etc etc. one of my faves i found was Бэлтэкэ (Belteke) with means ‘round face’. would fit me ngl

anyways this is awesome news for me and i just wanted to share because learning that changing names throughout your life is historically super normal for our people makes me feel better about changing it for the second time, yknow? especially with the fact that those names were an individual’s descriptor. almost kind of like being trans and changing your name to one that suits you as a person better so you don’t walk around with the one that had nothing to do with who you really are on a personal level for your whole life

Sonic is beginning to realize how much he values others' company, and I need to talk about it.

Can you believe we actually got this inner monolog!!?!? We really SAW Sonic open up as the comics progress. This is an incredible moment of awareness. The moment it really clicks that friendship, companionship, and adventure don't have to be exclusive. He can enjoy others company and still be free, still have fun, and still get things done. He can still be himself, while others join in on the ride. It makes me so happy. I'm so happy to watch him grow.

Look at him!!! He's not just lying down hands behind his back, eyes closed all the time anymore. He's engaging!! He's so much more alive.

Why did the cartoon never show us Danny's Birthday? It would be so funny if Vlad comes whatever he is invited or not. While everyone else made a little gift to Danny, Vlad could give a truck of sweets, cheese, toys and flowers.

This would be especially insidious if Danny and Vlad still considered themselves enemies—and if Vlad happened to be mayor at this time.

Because now everyone sees Mayor Masters as being so kind and generous and thoughtful to Danny, and if Danny so much as makes a snide comment against Vlad's character, the whole of Amity Park will rise up against him. What an ungrateful brat! What's his problem? I can't believe he'd be so rude! The other kids at school would make Danny's life a living hell (well, worse than it already is), not to mention the verbal lashing he'd get from his parents.

"Danny, honey, I know you and Vlad aren't the best of friends, but can't you at least send him a thank you card? Some of these gifts are so expensive."

"Yeah, Danny, you can't just snub Vladdie like that. He puts on a tough front, but he's really got a soft heart. He's probably wondering why you haven't called yet."

And thus Danny is forced to interact with Vlad and smile and be nice and thank him him while suppressing the urge to phantom punch him into the middle of next week.

behold! an updated design of amika haider, my hijabi genshin oc from sumeru! it was almost two years ago that i sat down and went “hey wouldn’t it be fun to have a character with a hijab be from sumeru because of the cultural ties?” only to make this character, and though we did not end up getting a sumeru oc with a hijab, i find the sumeru cast to have a special place in my heart (and take up about 80% of it)
