After months of research and development and market testing and perfecting the first item I feel confident selling online, I have realized... that it is an incredibly niche item that only a specific subset of absolute nerds would want to buy, and I will have to do a ton of explaining the basic idea over and over again before people generally get what it is I'm even selling. #this is like the time I spraypainted a bunch of screw heads gold #because I was putting up gold spraypainted shelf brackets and wanted these black screws to not stand out #and to make it easier I took a piece of thin cardboard and cut a series of Xes in it #then pushed the screws in a little bit and positioned it over the gap between boards on the back deck #and used my hammer to just plonk those screws into place so I could spraypaint them! #i felt so clever I posted a video of it #(gold spraypaint makes me feel giddy and childlike) #and everyone was like #“GIRL NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT DON'T TRY TO *HAMMER* YOUR *SCREWS* INTO A DECK!” #it took like. so much work to try to explain to people why this was a problem I wanted to solve #much less the mechanism by which i solved it #my brain is just. Can you imagine a little fangirl trying to give Bakugou a friendship bracelet at an event, but he doesn’t see her as he’s trying to dodge the crowds on the red carpet. Holding your hand to keep you tight by his side as he uses his broad shoulders to protect you as he pulls you past all the flashing camera lights and interviewers trying to call him over.

But you see her, holding out a little beaded bracelet over the barrier as her face is painted to match Dynamight’s eye mask. Little explosions in her pigtails as you squeeze Bakugou’s hand, stopping him from walking away as you point her out to him.

She’s the only reason he drops your hand, taking a few broad strides towards her as he bends down at the crowd barricade to talk to her, asking her name and listening as she tells him that he’s her favourite Pro-Hero. Holding out the bracelet as she gives it to him, and practically glows when he slips it over his wrist. And she surprises you when she holds another Dynamight themed bracelet out to you, holding out your hand so she can put it on you making sure that you and Bakugou now have matching bead bracelets.

"What are you doing?" you giggle as Chan peeks his head through your changing room.

"I'm here to see my future wife," he grins at you, his dimples full on display.

"Nooo don't come in. It's bad omen for you to see me," you shoo him away but the smile on your face betrays you. Truth is, you were glad he was here. The wedding was set to start in a few hours, and you've been feeling a little nervous without him by your side.

"Honey, even if the entire universe stands against us, they wouldn't be able to stop me from marrying you." He reassures as he walks towards you, hands deep inside his pockets, his black tie loosely hanging from his collar.

"Oh, yeah?" you beam at him, lacing your hands around his neck as soon as he's in front of you.

"Mm," he hums, before leaning in to capture your lips in a sweet kiss. "Missed you," he mumbles against your mouth and you smile into the kiss, "missed you more."

Chan pulls away before leaning his forehead against yours. His hand finds your own and he brings it to his mouth, placing a gentle kiss on your palm. His touch is so tender; you are suddenly hit by the realization that you're the only one he will love this way for the rest of his life.

Tears prickle at the corner of your eyes and you clear your throat to ride out this wave of emotion. Leave the crying to the wedding, you remind yourself.

"Be honest with me," you grin knowingly at Chan. "You are only here because you can't do your tie yourself."

"Whaaaat? I'm here because I missed you."

"And?" you watch amusedly as Chan fiddles with his right earlobe, his eyes looking up at the ceiling.

"And... I suppose you are the only one who can tie it for me." You giggle at the blush dusting his cheeks. Adorable.

"Come here, you big baby. How will you ever survive without me?"

"I won't."
