wow you guys…i hit 1000 followers sometime this week! im sorry for not noticing earlier but wow im so grateful!

i seriously didn’t expect this account to even break 100. i was just writing as a little escape from my normal life. i got into riize pretty recently after losing interest in kpop as a whole for a really long time. i was a carat and nctzen (a fan of many groups, ive been into kpop since 2014 ish) but lost interest and just kinda focused on myself for a long time. i finished school, made friends, started working, started going to school AGAIN, picked up hobbies, moved away from my hometown to pursue my passion, etc.

i kinda thought that part of my life was over but riize literally stole my heart from the moment i got into them. i havent felt this way about a group for a long time and one day it just got a little too much so i wrote about separate fics for my top two (eunseok and sungchan). and you guys liked it! and you guys wanted more! and you guys commented on it and sent me asks hyping up my writing! and you guys followed me! and reblogged my stuff! and now we are here!

seriously would’ve never thought i’d have so many receptive, sweet, and sincere interactions on the stuff i write. i was seriously expecting to speak into the void like i’ve seen happen with alot of writers for fandoms. i write screenplays and sometimes its hard to remember why i like writing so much. you guys reminded me why i want to write for the rest of my life. we fangirl and talk about it together and have built a community over shared love and words. isn’t that so wonderful? i want to repay it back with good alot of good writing ^^

if you’ve been here since third and/or bad idea, right i want to say i love you so much seriously. i remember the accounts of the first people to ever follow me and comment on my stuff. i recognize the users of people who silently support me and i love you guys too heh.

if you’ve ever sent me a request thank you for giving me inspiration! i’m a big believer that on this earth one of the few things that belong to us and us alone are our ideas. it’s something no one can take from you—so thank you for giving me something so precious and trusting me to do it justice. i hope to continue making you guys happy! and if you just followed me, welcome!! i have alot of stuff to read and i plan on releasing more!

Top five Chinese mythologies source that you used for your fic

ooooh~ now. i might not have many good ones since i havent delved too much into ALOT of mythology so far for tangled star. the most common i've had to reaserch is chinese culture things.

But i have had to do research for all four celestial primates, Quanyin, and of course Nezha. So I dont have alot but I'll list five reasources i have used. im putting them here in order of when i think of them not how any are better then the other.

Investiture of the gods.

this has been a good one for Nezha research, specifically his backround. How he was born, fighting the dragon and then becoming a god.

i'll definitly need it more later on. I think Erlangs in it too. but its also called 'creation of the gods' so its definitly a good resource to have if you ever need to reference or just wanna learn about how some of the chinese gods came to be.

2. Journey to the west reaserch

So far ive only used this blog for celestial primate information and Wukong's circlet. But its a good blog with alot of information about journey to the west. I personally haven't read the book yet (time, energy and life bullshit) but its a good blog for whenever i need to read up about something jttw. or help me find where a passage is so i can read that part myself.

3. JTTW

of course. the source material is good anyhow. I have had to dip into certain parts of the book. luckily i have a friend who has read the whole thing and sends me pictures or tells me about some portions so i know what im talking about

4. China beasts and legends

this site so far has been a good reference for me whenever i need to look up one specific demon or god or really anyone in chinese mythology.

annnnnddd thats it. i dont have a fifth because i haven't had to do that much research just yet. im sure i will later on as i keep writing of course. It's always good to keep learning.

1. favorite fic you wrote this year

man… i will always always love of linked arms and bruised hearts :’)) i know that the writing style may be just average but i have such a personal connection to that story. maybe its because i definitely self projected but i will always love friendships!!! i feel that its become such an important and recurring theme in my fics, if i’ll be honest <3

another favorite of mine is familiarity (it’s all sticky) <3 definitely an idea ive had for a long time and i had lovely @wuahae betaread it :’)) its very personal to me… idk i like to think of it as a fic that commemorates not only how much i do l*ve that loser but also how much i love cat <3

idk if this is cheating but of guitar strings and peeled tangerines earns its spot too!! the outline i made since the second half of the year and ive really been hyped and happy writing it <3 i feel like its a reflection of the nooks and crannys of moni imo </3 so its crazy that it’ll be even more personal than of linked arms and bruised hearts

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year

OH I DEFINITELY HAVE SO MUCH FAVORITE ONES 😭😭 and alot of them will be from of linked arms and bruised hearts im afraid… i have a bad habit of rereading my works to see what i can improve on or what couldve been changed but also its a way to reflect on my growth as a writer

first, we have the scenes where reader and jichang come back to cheongju for the holidays :’) i think its just sooo domestic imo and it really does have u reflect on what reader and jichang have <3 i personally love the scene where reader finds out jichang has been keeping clippings of their articles <3 it does smth to my lil heart <3

another one is of course the train ride back home… idk to me its just a very sentimental scene about the idea of home and how they find it in each other :’))) particularly these passages always do smth to me

another scene in particularly loved writing is the scene between kevin and reader where they talked about reader’s life… they were discussing editorship and possible topics for the opinion piece and i just thought that the whole reflection of it was beautiful :’)

now for of guitar strings and peeled tangerines… ugh so much to say… first off i loved writing the scene where reader comes back to town… its the whole progression of them getting off the station, meeting juhak again, arriving at their father’s restaurant, u know the vibes :’)) in between every passage, u really see how much grief and resentment they hold towards this town.

The waves are strong enough to tip your balance. You do everything to stand on your own feet. The image of Jacob you drew on the sand has been washed off—it’s your fault for drawing it too close to the shore.

i know u particularly love this line and i think i do too now :’) smth i didnt know i would enjoy </3

another one i loved writing is the flashback… the first time we see how much peeled tangerines mean between the two… just so much astonishment joy and love <3

12. favorite character to write about this year

rah i think my favorite charas to write abt were definitely the friendgroup in of linked arms and bruised hearts! i also really loved writing moonbae and reader :’))) to me, they just have so much love for each other!!! it was just so nice to see them grow in my eyes as well

if were talking abt members tho, i did love writing about eric :’))) i know i couldnt give justice to the plot with my whack writing style but it was a treat to write abt that lil guy!

For the st concept (the jane doe thing) it's really cool! Im invested too 😭😭 i do have a few questions:

(1) is the fic gonna be set canonwise or are u gonna do it outside of that(-canon, battle, dark stuff)? (2) And how would the characters react to the reader's existence?(i feel like they'd be bothered and surprised but "hey a headless, talking, human? Isn’t the weirdest thing we've encountered")

(3) how tall/big are they? Are they the size of a doll? (Im sorry idk what/who jane doe is 😭) (4) how old is the reader?

And for name suggestions, Hiram would fit bcs the reader borrows the head of a doll, and "hiram" is a word in filipino which quite literally means "borrow", But it would depend on if another character would be the one to give them a name.

And for their relationships with the other characters, i think it would be cute if they were all someone protective of the reader.(But at first they are obviously freaked out.) For love interests, i think it would depend on the age of the reader. Buuut i think a found family trope would fit a little better? Steve’s the mom, of course. Nancy's the dad (who teaches reader about all kinds of stuff, and scolds anyone who is scared of/insults the reader) and el would def be really curious abt the reader, and protective, too :P overall ur idea is so cool and cute i love it

under cut is a bit of season four spoilers bc im discussing when it might be set ! <3

(1) i was thinking its set season four because that has the dynamics between certain characters which i like, things like steve isnt awful and we have robin & eddie etc. ive been leaning towards moving away from canon and having less of the plot with the upside down/vecna/etc. (id also be fine with season 3 just bc id love for everyone to hang out at starcourt together)

but i was also thinking it would be cool to involve reader in all the events, and reader could end up helping them. im going to this with the idea that reader doesnt stick around in the end, and hopefully finds out who they are, which now im thinking about it could in some way be via being vecna'd, i dont know the specifics on how that would work for reader but its an idea that could be cool !!

so to answer the question im happy with leaning either way, id loooove to do it with everyone all happy and everything so we get cute dynamics with everyone hanging out together, but sticking with canon for the most part could be rlly interesting so yeah !! im open to both sides atm i havent decided

(2) i feel like at first their reaction would be like 'wtf am i seeing' honestly bc yeah theyve seen alot, i think it depends on when its set, bc if its set in s4 i bet at least a few ppl would be like 'thats wild am i being vecna'd rn?' lmao. but yeah i dont think most of their worlds would be like rocked or anything bc atp theyve seen so much they cant be toO like terrified

(3) im giggling at the thought of reader being doll sized omg /pos

these are some photos of jane in the show (shes the blonde one just so theres no confusion lol!) she has doll-like make-up and such, and she also moves a bit robotic like a doll. i would ofc describe reader far more vaguely for appearance so everyone can read this and see themselves in it, but this is the girl who inspired this whole idea :D !!!

in ride the cyclone, jane doe is normal human sized, and her doll is normal doll sized (its a porcelain doll but like where are we gonna find a porcelain doll in hawkins lmao so thats why i went w some sort of babie or other day). in ride the cyclone its kind of just one of those things no one explicitly brings up, someone gets a lil creeped out by jane's headless doll but thats about it, so its one of those things without like a full explanation, but i think its such a cute way to give them a head.

so reader would be like normal human size and everything, and the doll head and the fact that reader might talk to the doll is something everyone is kinda just like 'ok yeah i dont have the energy to unpack whatever's happening there'. ooorrr we could always add some sort of explanation if we wanted to which i wouldnt be opposed to :DD

also above ties into that this isnt going to be 100% serious dark angst etc, ride the cyclone itself could be quite heavy if it werent for the fact that its a funky lil comedic thing as well, and i think thats a fun vibe that ill probably try to stick to a lil with this as well

(4) for age my original idea was that reader is around robin/steve/nancy/eddie/etc's age, early 20's or like 18-19, this is bc id like the dynamic between reader and other characters if reader was around this age. and also i dont want this to be like a shot-for-shot remake of when the gang found el in the woods, so making reader like dustin's age is less appealing to me.

omg i love that name idea and i loovveee how it ties back to the doll bc ik the doll wont actually talk back but i think its such a cute thing to include so i just gotta. so far ive been suggested gn variations of jane doe, but i also love this definitely putting it on the list for name options !!

and for relationships yess i agree !! i asked what people thought for romantic bc i was interested in what ppl thought but i am leaning towards stuff like yeah found family !! i cant explain why but i would loooove nancy and reader's friendship in this just soemthing abt it i love !! and omg yes ofc dad nancy and mum steve .

also i can totally see reader and el bonding over how el can relate to reader not rlly knowing anything about the world and how things work and such !!

for context, jane doe in ride the cyclone can speak and all (which i might alter a bit for reader bc depending on how long reader's been alone/in a purgatory kinda place in the upside down then they may be a bit out of practice with speaking) but doesnt actually know what most things are, bc she learnt what they were during her life, which ofc she does not remember, so yeah !

Okay so like.. I heard this song.. and I suddenly got reminded with Purple Hoodie (especially the last Chapter...)

Soo A bit of Spoilers for people who havent finished the story or havent start reading it- and if you havent started it... What are you doing 🧍 go read it.

But in the Lyrics it was a duet and one of them said "I want to offer this dance my Chat, but this is the last time for me" really got me thinking of the last Chapter... You know which scene 🧍 (also it didnt help that I saw someone say something about Sacrifice and thats why they forget and that is why the person said 'This is the last time for me' and not 'us' and that MADE ME.... SOB.. also the fact the next time if they meet and dance.. the person will think that it is their first time, but the other person knows because they didnt forget. )

And now I cant help but think of Donnie and Reader if the last Chapter would've been a musical... I can see that song would be the song- (ofc the Lyrics would change, but yeaaah-) also not to mention that- the song's name is called 'The Last Dance' (or so i heard...?-) SO LIKE... IDK

Anyways its like.. 1AM around that time rn- and thats where the feels hits hard for me.... so here I am ☝️ Rambling about this- sorry btw if its alot LOL just gotta get it out of my system somehow.. gotta share it to someone 😭 anyways- love your fic and I cant wait for Prince Charming's Jacket!! Oh Tumblr is an amazing place when find your people. Sometimes it takes a while but I'll bet you'll make lots of wonderful friends. I have and I can't imagine not having them in my life to talk to.

I don't write sadly. I have never been blessed with the creative gene but I love to read. That's fantastic that you want to write a novel eventually and what a smart idea to start with fic! I will be sure to read yours when time allows.

Have you been on tumblr long? I'll admit, I have a bit of a social media phobia 😅 so I kinda surprised myself when I started this thing. Thought doing this secret santa would be a good way to come of my social media shell 😊.

Yeah, I thought it would be good practice to try to write a mulit-chapter fic before attempting the other idea I had 😂. For all I know, I could be a horrid writer 😅. I got an image of a scene in my head when listening to the song Rearviewmirror by Pearl Jam and just kinda started writing a story around that. It was originally with all OCs, but then I rewrote it as fanfiction to post. Wasn't originally gonna post it, but I figured that would be good practice too haha. I actually haven't even gotten to the original chapters I wrote in the story yet...

Oh and don't feel obligated to read my fic at all! I love readers and feedback, but don't feel like you have to read it ❤.

The idea I have for the novel... I guess I would say it's more in the fantasy genre, with some romance in it. I've written down alot of ideas for it, characters, general plot, etc, but I havent started writing it yet. Fantasy is my favorite genre to read (my fic is not that genre though). What is your favorite genre to read?

Well, I like reading, playing video games when there's time. I have an art degree and recently got a job teaching. My areas are drawing and painting. What are some of your hobbies?

“is everything alright? you seem bothered” he asks, grabbing the papers on your left, fixing them, and putting his attention back to his lover. you chuckle, “i should be the one asking you that!”

“well” he trailed off, reading the contents of the papers he held and putting it back down, now in a proper manner. your eyes following his actions. “im fine, what about the beautiful person infront of me? hm?” you could see the small smirk on his face. he sits down beside you on the floor. giving you no time to answer, albedo gave you a small kiss on your lips.“hey! i didnt see that comi-“ he kisses you again, and another after that, and more around your face.

he uses his free hand to rest it on your cheek, you leaned into it. “you look amazing today, by the way” you giggled, cheeks slightly red. “and you look.. surreal.” replying to his compliment, he brushes the stray hair on your ear. “i just keep falling for you everyday, arent i?” he kisses you once more.

Hii!! I'm so sorry for bothering you, please do not answer this if you don't want too but I have a quick question.

I'm starting to write a soon-to-be series with the lost boys, much like shitlings. I'm having trouble writing the guys, especially with Dwayne and David interacting with the reader. The reader is much like a fuck-you type of person, they can immediately tell that they're bad news and blankly tells them to fuck off.

I was wondering if you had any suggestions/tips on how to write the guys, specifically interacting with the character?

Not a bother at all love, here's a lil something but id recommend reading @asirensrage tlb fic, I really like how she writes the boys in it

Paul

Airhead, kinda out of it but not dumb hes just high alot and definitely has a dependency on it. But hes a vampire, his tolerance is hella high and he uses it to his advantage, people think hes an idiot but really he sees alot.

Hes very cuddly in the sleepy sense, and kinda like stu macher hes a horny bastard, but hed always make sure youre ok and happy before trying anything

Likes holding onto a part of you, we see this with how he is around marko

Definitely brings you snacks and random things he finds, I imagine him and Marko just stare at the beach and across the cliffs to find cool things humans have lost.

Smells nice, I assume they shower in some way but Paul smells like salt and week and an ok natural musk, Joel wanted them to be sexy-pretty-boys and i think part of that comes with their scent.

Speaking of, he loves smelling you, offering you his own clothes at times so he can mark you in some way

Very catlike in his movements, the boys havent been human for a while and none of them move like one if you watch long enough.

Languid, dopey, chill, zen, wild hair, eyes like the ocean, welcoming smile like hes watching you fall in a trap. Finds clothes in donation bins (idea stolen from ridea but he 100% does it and brings things back for marko)

Marko

Walks with 'swagger'

Hes very queer, Alex Winter is part ukranian and you can see it in Marko, not just in the way he looks. He always gets excited when foods he recognises are found in town, varenyky dumplings and paska are his favourite. But one time a shop opened up and began selling european sweets, paul and him went three times a week before david told them to eat what they had before bringing more back.

A gremlin, collects things, steals things from people he thinks are pretty. He got the fishing tassles on his shoulder from some humans, swimming up beneath them and dragging them in the water before taking the shiny things as a tropy.

Will start a fight, itching for one constantly, David loves it sice its like having a golden poodle with its teeth bared at all times.

Likes being rough but lowkey gets small man syndrome from the surf nazis who think they can drag him around, will express this when he sees you, being aggressively affectionate.

Possessive too, he and Paul and are blood hounds and he always knows where you are and what you are doing. Protective, likes to have a hand round your waist, but will be a big softly and hold it when walking through a crowd.

Likes kissing your knuckles.

Steals patches for you and sketches your form, like youre a french girl ;).

But happy to give you your own space, he will adore and love you but in the end he loves anyones company, when you want him or he wants you nothing will keep you apart anyways.

Finds random animals, if theyre hurt he will pay their vet bills, of course the money is stolen but sometimes he puts them in front of the video store and max uses it to boost his ego by saving the poor creature.

David

Keeps to himself, naturally hes old and has been through alot and is always worried about risking your safety.

He watches you before approaching, would rather know everything he can before so he can use it to woo you.

Likes holding your face, affectionate more in private but enjoys keeping you close when youre out and about. If youre in a poly with the rest of the boys he lets the younger blondes entertain you, always thinking.

Hates being out of control, almost always tops but open to being ridden. Will choke you and bruise your hips.

Kinda likes crying, idk hes weird like that.

When he does open up hes very soft, once he knows hes safe with you he becomes alot more tender, enjoys pressing your foreheads together and looking into your eyes.

Most of the boys become softer after a while, you become less of a toy and more of theirs.

As long as Max is alive he'll try and keep you away from the shopping area, knowing his sire would try and turn you with his own blood when David doesn't want you sipping anything but his own.

Dadbod, from Kiefers pics hes always been pretty soft and lanky, but hes definitely strong. Though hes never enjoyed being super messy, does it more to entertain his brothers who do the rough stuff for him.

Smells of smoke and mens perfume he bought twenty bottles of in the 1920s, he remembers only buying them because the guy who was carrying round the heavy box seemed so down on his luck.

His hair is icky though, full of product that he barely washes out, always being bleached but eventually it maintained the icy tone. He missed his human hair though, it was always so golden and soft.

Hands are calloused and cold

Dwayne

A romantic. He was raised to appreciate his partner as much as he possibly could, and in his lifetime he has seen so much suffering he has always wanted someone precious to him.

Likes having hands running through his hair, all of the boys purr but he and paul do it the loudest. When hes truly relaxed his face transforms a little, their human faces are their false ones, really their bones are always a little more prominent and if you look into his eyes you can see small specks of gold and burnt orange.

Will press his fangs to your skin, loves how soft and plush it is, never breaching the skin without permission.

His favourite place is this small bookshop that has been in the corner of the boardwalk for the past thirty years, the owner has changed twice but theyre all related. One time they tried sneaking a picture of him only to come out with a picture of just some shelves and a bribe shoved in their face. Now he keeps it afloat and in turn they get him cool books every month.

Lets you braid his hair, one time he napped on you for three hours while you made lots of little intricate braids, when he woke and pulled them out the next day his hair was wavy. Marko asked if he broke into someones house to crimp it.

Affectionate in a suffocating way, will wrap around you and press you to his chest, which is almost always bare. Hes warm too, the boys were almost always cold but Dwayne never is, you like to call him your sun, like how Paul is your lion.

Always doting on you, bringing you anything you need, even if its something small mentioned once. Sometimes gets David to search through your mind so they can know what you truly want.

Likes to pick you up, feeling the soft flesh of your thighs and always squeezing you possessively.

Will never finish first.

Smells like cherries, because thats what his conditioner smells like. Skin always soft, warm, cosy and embracing, watching you warmly and waiting for anything to show you need him, likes to read to you and let you play with his hair at the same time, once bought you a fifty dollar book you saw but wouldn't get.

Hey there Ellie thank you for asking!!! And my answer is... Yes! I am clearly working on drafted fics on my wattpad! (I dont use ao3) But i havent got any good ideas on Squidbob shots so im continuing on making drafted fics such as

"An Unforgettable Friendship" which is a Plankton x Krabs fanfiction but i havent really published that yet.

And "The princess of my dreams" A fanfic of Patrick x Mindy that is totally still drafted still. Its a story where Mindy's father king neptune arranged a marriage from some other prince. But mindy doesnt want to marry the guy he never liked. Because her heart belongs to patrick.

"This is us!" Covered au of Spongebob as Robert and Squidward as Edward. (Just a work from job at the building somesort-)

"When will i see you again?" An au where Spongebob died and became ghostbob. Spongebob's death after talking to squilliam and him openingup to spongebob. He didnt noticed the boatmobile speeding. Spongebob pushed him aside from last second and died.

"Wish we never met!" Drafted fic. AU of Spongebob having an ex boyfriend just like Squidward's on the past. (This will include greenie (Greenie is a character made from Pancaketiffy because i would think it is obvious that greenie is from abrassive side episode) and also Spongebob's three Siblings. "Wait did you just say SIBLINGS?" Yes i did. Three siblings. 2 brothers one is younger than him. And the other is older than him. And 1 sister.

And now there is Spongetale. An au of where Spongebob is a knight, Patrick as a poet, and Squidward is a prince. (I have 1 drafted fic there.) But i have alot of typos/incorrect keyboard types there so you can read it whenever you like.

And i was planning definitely on making the 2 aus ive drew.

AU of extra ordinary. Just where Spongebob in his first freshman college. (Patrick and him are room mates. So they both have their friendship together for years.) He met Squidward at art class and tries to talk to him in music class. Mindy(the princess) is the principal's daughter. Sandy and the others well still gonna hide them. Planning up something.

Also the one called ZU Zombie Universe is really special so i have to plot up the concept there first.

And about the squid plus one continuation (non origin.) I will not do it in the fic. It is better for me to do it in comics sooo yesh.

And the future other au well... i'd think of making it too although yes i meed a plot for that to add myself.

(Cool fascinating dolphin ideas lol. But really havent continued them. I really wish i could but i have exams coming up and this is the last quarter. If my vacation starts i will gladly continue doing those drafts and plot up a concept in ZU)

(Im thinking of a second sequel in "We dont have alot in common" wdhalic is where Squilliam appears.)

buddy i know EVERYTHING about the dancestors. everything. and im wrong about nothing. i have read meenahbound at least ten times and that is an underestimate and not a joke. i have read every single fucking word kankris ever spoken, even the tiny shit, multiple fucking times, because my dedication to my craft is nothing if not thorough and torturous. ive read every goddamn character analysis there is on kankri, ive seen all the posts, ive read all the fics (not rlly i love myself), and i can tell you for a fact that everything everyone tells you about him is fuckint wrong. i started studying his character because i was mad abt how ooc ppl made him and i just got madder. i learned how to write him. i perfected it. and i havent done it in years because i hate him and his fans so fucking much. the world is not READY for my kankri takes. they do not DESERVE them.

but i love it when ppl ask me things, so for you, anon, i will take the time to divulge some of my secrets. first off, kankri is a bonafide grade a fucking asshole, hes ableist and sexist and abt every -ist under the sun, and he hides biting remarks under layers of political correctness and ranting so that by the time he insults you youre too zoned out to notice. that said, hes also not an outright asshole, hes not blunt with his meanness, hes not straight up about it, and people who just make him an uncaring dick are ALSO wrong. its an extremely thin line to walk and everyone is falling off like a toddler on a tightrope. he cares, deeply, but hes also fed up with everyone around him (and for good reason, because all of the other dancestors are ALSO massive assholes). he cares about being pc more than he cares about the actual issues hes "fighting for," he makes some good points, and he also makes a lot of bad ones. sometimes hes right, and sometimes hes just so caught up in what i believe boils down to a form of self-loathing via extreme policing of himself and others that he says and does the stupidest things known to man that make me want to cut my own dick off and staple it to my forehead so he can call me a whore and a transphobe.

second, hes capable of not ranting. like, he can carry a normal conversation where he talks a normal amount. it happens. inevitably someone will say something that gets him going, but you know. not every sentence has to be an essay.

third, oh my fucking god if one more person writes some fucking shit where hes "cured" of being celibate i am going to print out and laminate cards that say "youre an aphobe" to pass out to the masses. kankri isnt aroace, hes clearly in love with latula and just has self-imposed celibacy on himself possibly bc he thinks its gonna keep him from mucking up his quads, but even though hes not, and even if he was, the way people handle his celibacy is disgusting and offensive. if you dont want to write him celibate just dont make him celibate and pretend that never happened. otherwise it plays into the "ace ppl just havent found the right dick yet" thing, which iS RLLY OFFENSIVE. this is like. one of my number one kankri pet peeves. ill kill someone over this. the sexually repressed kankri hc i constantly see sucks and is objectively wrong anf im going to rip the head off of the next person i see doing it like a rabid fucking dog.

im going to make this my last note on this, bc i already have a headache just thinking about kankri, but the way ppl characterize his interpersonal relationships is bad. its bad. his relationship with latula is a mirror of karkats with terezi, nothing more, nothing less. his relationship with porrim is fucking bad and unhealthy. porrim babies and infantilizes him and regularly crosses his boundaries, and i t hink (?? dont quote me on this one its been a minute) the only time he rlly gets angry and blows up at someone is bc porrims does something he didnt consent to. at the same time, hes rlly rude to porrim and says loads of bigoted shit to her and treats her like shit. hes super ableist towards mituna, thinks hes an idiot, and treats him like shit. he doesnt really have a good relationship with anyone, because everyone hates him and he hates everyone and all of the dancestors are lions in a cage without enrichment, pacing back and forth and wondering how much longer they can stand each other before one of them snaps and kills the rest (oh wait! damara and meenah kind of did already! and kurloz is actively plotting a second death!)

anyway yeah. this is less of hot takes and more of a list of my pet peeves but yeah. i hate kankri, actually, i think hes the fucking worst, and i obsessively know everything about him out of spite.

disclaimer tho: i like all homestuck charas as charas like its cool its neat theyre cool n i hate kankri like you hate a villain but also i hate the fandoms idea of kankri and i hate kankri fans and if youre going to comment on this post defending ur hcs dont

Oxygen: Avengers x gn! reader

S.S.: Heya... its been a while. This is another fic kinda based on personal life stuff but I hope you like it still!

--Little back story, Ive got a congenital heart defect and if I push my self too far this is kind of what happens. :)

Warnings: mentions bruises and cuts, difficulty breathing, other than that its just fluff!

“Alright! Good job team. Another success.” Tony celebrated walking through the helipad entrance of the compound.

“We still took a heavy hit out there tho.” Clint argued massaging his newly wrapped wrist.

“But we’re still alive,” Tony said turning and walking backwards, “I’d say that kinda evens out the bad.”

Clint rolled his eyes at Tony’s slightly faulty logic before the team entered into the common area of the building. Tony immediately took a seat at the bar pouring a drink while everyone else just stood for a minute.

“Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm tired and in dire need of a shower.” you broke the silence, catching their attention.

“I second that,” Nat agreed. “And then maybe some pizza and a movie.”

Various words of approval echoed in the common room.

“Man, I was thinking about throwing a banger of a party!” Tony whined, with a sly smirk, which was returned with cold stares from each of the members. “Jeez, I was kidding.” he mumbled into his glass.

“I’m gonna go shower. I suggest you boys do the same. It's starting to smell.” Nat teased as she made her way to the elevator. Protests and grumbles came from the men standing there.

“She’s not wrong.” you whispered under your breath as you followed her into the elevator.

“I heard that!” Steve yelled out as Clint threw a throw pillow (how ironic) towards the elevator door, hitting the metal before it reached you and Nat.

After a fit of giggling at the attempt, you both leaned against the walls of the elevator, opposite sides of each other, trying your best to filter out the images of the mission running through our heads.

“Hey, you alright?” her voice attracted your attention as you peaked open your closed eyes.

“Ya, I’m ok. I know that missions don't always end how we want but there's not much we can do.” you sent her a reassuring smile.

“I’m glad you realize that but I was asking more about how you're feeling. Your lips have a very subtle purple hue to them and you're just kinda pale.”

“Oh. I mean I don't feel completely awful. My chest kinda hurts but it's kind of a normal thing for me I guess. Maybe a little out of breath. And a headache.” as you continued to list off my symptoms it seemed more apparent, like the sudden lightheadedness, and the constricting feeling of taking in a breath.

“Do you need to go to the med bay?” She asked on full alert.

“No Nat. I'll be fine. It kinda comes with heart issues. I just need to rest.”

“You’re sure?” she looked at you sceptically, as if you would lie to a perfectly trained assassin who can pick up on any micromovement made.

“Positive.” As soon as you seemed to calm her down from her motherly attentiveness the elevator doors opened to our floor. You quickly gave her a smile and turned to my room while she turned towards hers.

As soon as you were in the safety of your room you striped your tactical gear, doing your best to keep an even breath as it began to feel like the material was constricting your body. With one last solid tug you freed yourself from the clothing leaving you only in underwear.

The reflection in the mirror wasn’t terrible… Maybe that was an understatement. Your lips did in fact have the not so lovely purple tinge to them, your skin looked almost as white as paper besides the bruises and cuts. The burning feeling in your chest and the headache just kind of added to the pain.

You shook off the slight shock at the reflection, turning on the shower before stripping and stepping under the steaming water, washing away the grim that had apparently become one with your skin.

Despite it being relaxing, the shower did little to help the chest pain that burned through your chest, nor the continuous feeling of not having enough air in your lungs. So as soon as you stepped out of the shower and back into the room you found the little oximeter device and placed it onto your finger waiting for a number to pop up on the small screen.

‘80% oxygen level’ Well that's not good.

“Mx., should I call for a medic to assist you?” Jarvis’ voice echoed through the room causing the number representing your heart rate to spike.

“Uh- no, no it's alright Jarvis. I’m fine, thank you.” you reassured the A.I., pulling the device from your finger.

“Very well.”

You pulled on an oversized shirt that just happened to have landed into your laundry one day and a pair of thin comfortable pants before moving to your closet.

“Man, I’m gonna regret this.” you opened the door revealing the several oxygen tanks hiding under the clothes that hung in your closet. They were there only for emergencies and no one else knew about them except Bruce, who you had sworn to secrecy which he thoroughly disagreed with.

You chose one of the half sized tanks and the shoulder bag that carried it, slinging it onto your back and adjusting the fit. You carefully wrapped the plastic cannula over your ears before taking the plastic wrench piece and opening the flow of the tank settling at a fairly quick air flow. Almost immediately you began to feel the benefits of the small amount of oxygen entering your lungs, breathing a sigh of relief.

You quickly slipped on your slippers before returning downstiar which you figured everyone had returned too by now. You followed the sound of voices and wrappers crinkling in the kitchen, walking into the group there intimately discussing the best type of popcorn. But as soon as Tony caught sight of you standing in the doorway the conversation halted.

“What's with the getup?” he motioned to you.

“Oh sorry, I didn’t know whose shirt it was, it was just in my clean laundry a few days ago.” you said, avoiding the obvious object in question. You looked up to see Nat giving me a pointed look and a deadpan from Tony.

“I meant the tube, and the backpack.”

“It's my new jetpack. You like it?” you smirked childishly at him as he rolled his eyes.

“Y/N. What's with the pack?” Steve commanded, obviously over the jokes.

“Sorry. I just needed a hit of oxygen. Nothing to get your undies in a twist.” you replied quietly. “What movie are we watching?” you asked, grabbing a slice of pizza from one of the various boxes that sat on the counter.

“Why do you need oxygen? Are you ill? Do you need new lungs?” Thor questioned passing over your previous one.

“Do you need your vitals checked?” Bruce suggested.

“How about we just take you to medical and have them look over you quick.” Clint suggested before stuffing the last of his pizza crust into his face.

“Stop!” you demanded, quieting the group. “I’m just fine. I checked my own vitals. I don't need new lungs and I'm not ill. I don't need medical treatment. What I need is just a relaxing night.” you stated.

“Are you sure? It wouldn't be a bad idea to-” Steve started before you cut him off.

“I'm sure. I’ve lived with this my whole life. I know what I need to do. Obviously if the out of breath feeling and the dizziness are constant then yes I’ll let one of you know that I need medical attention. Until then I just need some oxygen and RnR. Can we do that please?”

“Fine, for now. But if you still feel crappy after the movie you're going down to medical. No questions.” Tony compromised.

“Alright. I'll try not to faint on you guys until then.” you smiled, which immediately faded when no one laughed. “Im kidding.”

“Well, Miss Comedian, what movie are we watching?” Nat asked as she poured herself a glass of water.

“Y/F/M?” you offered, getting nods and sounds of approval. Steve's eyebrows crinked in confusion.

“What's that?”

“You’ll love it, capsicle. Covers everything from the last thousand years.” Tony smirked, grabbing a box of pizza and leaving the kitchen.

Steve glanced at you before looking at everyone else who just smiled and followed Tony. Eventually he got up and walked over to you.

“Hop on.” he said, crouching in front of you. So of course you followed orders, adjusting the tank on your back before climbing onto his.

“Man if I get service like this I should wear my oxygen tanks outside of my room more often.” you smile as he carries me to the living room.

“Wait? You’ve felt the need to wear oxygen before and you didn’t tell us?” his grip under my legs tightened a little.

“Oh wow, they already got the movie set up!” you said, trying to wiggle from his grasp.

“Y/N.”

“Yes, I have just because I know that this would've been the reaction. Im sorry. Next time I feel like this I’ll let you know.”

“Good.” with that he let you down, sitting next to you on the couch once youve settled down. You carefully maneuvered yourself so that your head laid in Steve's lap while your legs were across Thor while the movie played.

It was nice to be worried about every once in a while despite the overbearing motherly attitudes of most of the male teammates, but what can you do?

you already know this but imma explain if anyone else is reading... late last year i got into a bit of a baking phase that lasted like a month n i was basically just trying to learn different recipes all the time (tho it was all just really simple stuff tbh) and i thought it would be fun to keep a ""cooking diary"" n write abt the process of making all this stuff aswell as any other thoughts and sometimes i go back n reread it and its so fucking stupid but also funny fshdhha multiple times it came to my mind "this would be so fucking funny as a book", like idk if it would actually work but this is definitely the kinda book i would buy sgsghfha

if the question was for manga or sth then i could give like 15 answers but since its book specific idk really what to say fhdhda much less a book SERIES, i havent been reading alot of books lately TwT fdgdh uhh its not a series but simon vs the homosapiens agenda is the book ive reread the most times, def one of my favourite books ^-^
