•He teases you, teases you untill your face is all red.

Hello! Could you write headcanons for the four dragons with a female s/o who is sick and how they would go about taking care of her?

Hello Anon! Thanks for sending this in when you did! I'm so sorry about the long wait. Every time I get requests about the dragons fretting about their s/o for any reason, I get so excited because they're all very cute (and maybe even cuter when they worry)

These might be reminiscent of my injured s/o HCs with Jaeha and Kija as the topic of discussion is somewhat similar! (ailed s/o with dragons caring for them)

I also happened to fall sick while working on this LMAO, but side note: using my platform to say please mask up when you go about your day! Masking is a way to protect yourself and your community members, especially those at risk/who suffer chronic conditions due to or not due to the novel COVID-19 virus— the pandemic is not over!

Pronouns for this ask will be she/her as used by anon!

Kija

Kija is a member number 1 of the overprotective squad. He already wishes to treat you delicately under normal circumstances, so if ailment befalls you, you can bet that protective nature will flare up more. He makes sure you're in bed and resting no matter what you say and takes care of all of your chores for you.

Much like he would in my injured s/o HCs, Kija would want to be as knowledgable as he could be about your illness and would ask Yun questions about your condition, unusually attentive and serious while taking the info in.

He's very worried about you! It agonizes him to see you suffer headaches or sore throats— anything that your illness inflicts on you, he would take in your stead and he would often voice this to you at your bedside.

He'd help you eat and feed you without question, and maybe even force feed you before Yun tells him not to bother you too much in case you're suffering from headache/unable to stomach anything, but of course you make sure he knows his intentions are appreciated.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Kija is ecstatic he gets to take care of you. He thinks it ill-hearted on his part to be happy about your unfortunate state, but really, he's just happy to be at your service in any way he can. Your being sick only increases the opportunities for him to show you how much he loves you and how much he cares.

Shinah

Shinah is member number 2 of the overprotective squad. He'd go to great lengths to make sure you're well-accommodated and ask Ao to be with you at times he may have to leave your side. He gives you his fluffy coat of fur and braves the cold without it because he thinks you need it much, much, much more than he does.

He sends you glares if you try to be proactive. He really really wants you to rest because Yun advised it and said it would go away faster if you slept and ate and don't overexert yourself.

While he's out in the field and happens upon some wildflowers and thinks of you, he may hear from Yona or Zeno that he could give them to you as a get-well-soon gift. Even though it's a form of courtesy, he wants to believe that it's like a prayer for you to get well soon and thinks it will help you fight your illness.

He always keeps an eye on you. Every time you run out of water, Shinah would make sure to fetch some more for you. You don't even have to ask— if he sees that your cup is empty, he'll be right back with it full. Even at night, if he happens to be on night guard duty, he'll care for you all the same.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Shinah loves taking care of you. He feels like he's doing something good and that makes him feel good and worthy. He has a bit of a hard time expressing his feelings for you in words, so in some ways similar to Kija, Shinah would take this time to make sure you're well-taken care of because he wants you to know how much you mean to him. He really, really wants you to get better.

Jaeha

While you're sick, Jaeha often teases you with things like feeding you dinner and saying that you must've gotten sick so he can dote on you, or hoping that he'll catch your illness and be in bed with you, but he's actually really careful (worried) and observant of your state and wants to make sure you're comfortable.

As always, he cares much more than he lets on, and does things for you outside of the periphery of you and the group. Once he's caught, he plays it cool (like he always does) and keeps going about his day doing things for you.

While you're sleeping, he'd often sit there and watch your peaceful expression. If you have fever, he'd be there to change out the wet towel on your forehead, but he's otherwise there just watching you. When someone else walks in on him, he's unusually startled— I'll let you decipher why on your own. :) (spoiler: he's embarrassed for no reason and gets more embarrassed because he felt embarrassed but he plays it cool— it's complicated. TLDR Jaeha's silly but we already know that.)

Generally, Jaeha may tease you but his true feelings can be gleaned from how he blows on the steaming porridge in your spoon and the way he pulls the covers over you when you lay down.

I don't know how to word this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Jaeha secretly loves the intimacy of being at your side and having you rely on him. He'd be quite open about how he's loving it (it'd come off a bit teasing and as typically non-betraying-his-feelings as Jaeha can get), but there's a deeper emotion that he's feeling while he goes through the motions of taking care of you that he wants to keep all to himself.

Zeno

When you're sick, Zeno already knows the motions of caring for you pretty well. He's his usual cheery self and his sunny disposition almost cheers your recovery on like a cheerleader.

Outside of caring for you, Zeno likes picking flowers as get-well-soon gifts. He likes to tell you all about the shenanigans of the group that you may have missed in your time resting, and his lips stretch into that heart-wrenching smile of his as he watches you giggle about how silly the group can be.

Zeno sticks by you the most out of the three dragons. Because he's immune to illness and fatigue, Yun trusts him to look after you the most while he may have his hands tied with other chores. Because of his inability to feel fatigue, Zeno also rests by you while you sleep despite your many demands for him to get some sleep. "Zeno doesn't need sleep, so you rest well, Y/N." You can hear his care in the way your name rolls off his tongue despite his infrequent use of it.

When he feeds you, he lightly brushes his lips against the spoon to make sure it's just the right temperature.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: He finds your sick state incredibly endearing— it evokes a lot of memories for him that are bittersweet but nevertheless precious. He knows your pain will only be temporary and takes each action he takes to care for you with a profound contentedness and hope that he'll see you bounce back within a few weeks' time.

Jake was muttering underneath his breath as [Name] phone was laid on the table, they weren't home and had received a text from an unknown number.

But what infuriated Jake the most is that were they were asking a nude photo of them, wanting [Name] to send to them.

Then a moment later, Lineman entered the room. Worried after seeing Jake distressed state. "Is something wrong Jake?" He asked as the male looked at him.

"No..."

Lineman saw the text and was in shocked, that someone and the audacity to ask them that, [Name] was the boss partner for god sake!

"Boss?" Jake looked at him with danger lurking in his eyes. "What?" Lineman gulped but straighten himself.

"Should we do something about this person, boss? We can beat him up."

Jake sighed, he doesn't know how though. "Do you have any suggestions?" Lineman sat down. "Well..." Lineman had started to lay out suggestions on what they can do as Jake listened, he then thought of a plan as they were going to teach the guy a liessoon.

[Name] came back home with a tired look as Jake greeted them with a hug and a kiss.

"Welcome back honey." He kissed their forehead as [Name] relaxed into his touch. "Thank you, and I completely forgot about my phone.." They leaned away as Jake followed her behind.

"Yeah, it's just by the table."

Jake felt incredibly happy, the sound of that guys scream was the best thing that could ever happened in his entire life. That was his fault for asking a nude photo of you.

"You seem happy."

"Yeah, something... good happened."

Eunsung Han:

"Eunsung!" "Babe." He opened his arms as they crashed right into wrapping each other's body. "Do you need something?" He asked while caressing their hair, they didn't answer which made him worried but got even more worried after feeling [Name] shake.

"[Name]? Honey?" "Eunsung... I don't know what to do..." They pulled away making Eunsung see the tears streaming down their face, it alerted Eunsung.

"What? Did something happened? Did someone crossed with you?" Eunsung held their shoulders, [Name] showed their phone to him as he looked over the contents.

He swore he saw red, the unknown number asking for a nude photo and [Name] refusing and asking them to not message them which only made the person got mad and started to threaten them.

It made [Name] scared and even more when the person sent a picture of their house, Eunsung gritted his teeth but he calmed himself down as he knew his lover needed comfort at the moment.

He turned off the device and hugged them. "It's alright... shh. It's going to be alright." He mumured as they hid their face against his chest.

"You bastard."

Another kicked was sent into the male body as a blood sported of his mouth, Eunsung glared at him and stomped on their head. and leaned down.

"Oi, it was a fucking mistake for you to threaten my partner, how dare you scare them."

"L-Look.... II'm so-sorry..i would-wouldn't have done that if I-I had known!"

"So, you are saying that if it was someone else, you would continue to harrass them? You bastard."

"W-Wait no! AGGHHH!"

Eunsung sent another kicked to his stomach, he then grabbed his hair. "Hope you have enough time, for another beating."

Jaeha Han:

"This person is pretty stupid.."

Jaeha said while looking at [Name] phone while they slept beside him, he chuckled as he had already thought of a plan. He looked at his partner adn kissed their forehead.

"I won't let anyone disrespect you."

"So... you done it?" He nodded. "Yup, we found the man and managed to threaten him. It was difficult but managed to get it through his skull." Jaeha smiled.

"Good, good."

"Jaeha!"

He looked and saw them walking towards him. "What is it?" They plopped down next to him and kissed him in the cheek. "You aren't busy, are you?" Jaeha shook his head.

"Nope."

"Let's go on a date! I saw that a new cafe opened recently." "Alright."

YONA

Manipulative, Dependent, Clingy

You grew up with YONA in the palace and have been by her side since. You being a few years older than her led you to have many responsibilities of your own, leaving you very little time to coddle the young princess. She hated it. Being her elder, you always kept her in check, essentially raising her into the woman she is today and she had fallen for you long ago.

Whenever you left her side it felt like a part of her died. The young princess grew less lively and even snappy to those around her because they just weren’t you. What was the point in trying to be perfect when you were nowhere in sight? How annoying…

YONA will latch onto you like a koala if it means you won't leave her. She’ll kick, scream, and weep if it means you won't leave her. Nothing is off the table if it means you’ll stick close to her; she adores your attention. In her mind, you love hers just as much. But being the spoiled girl she is, I suppose this isn’t too far-fetched.

Despite being shy about it, YONA finds it hard to not have her hands on you in some way, preferably holding your hand. It takes her back to a time when things were simpler, where you were with her and no one else, cooing sweet promises merely to soothe her worries. A princess always gets what she wants, and she'll cut down anyone who gets in her way.

SON HAK

Possessive, aggressive, protective

As seen in canon, HAK does have a pretty strong jealous side toward Yona. Think of that but times a hundred in your case. It's not hard for him to conceal his distaste for your friendly interactions with others but everyone has their breaking points. When intervening he'll step in front of you, pushing you behind him and out of your "acquaintance's" sight. If you ask him about it later Hak will most likely try to label it as him protecting you.

Being as tall as he is, it's usually easy to keep creeps out of your personal space. After all, who wants to deal with an imposing, scowling man with a Hsu Quandao strapped to his back? But of course, some people still try their luck. Asking you for directions is off limits, let alone allowing a man to speak so familiarly with you. It's always, “Ask me, not them” with Hak.

HAK forever has an arm tossed over your shoulder. He claims it's "to make sure you don't get lost" but the vacant street says otherwise. Leaving the village on your own is forbidden unless you want your neck smothered in deep purple bite marks beforehand. The idea of you completely giving in to his affections makes his heart beat.

If it came down to it, murder isn't something Hak is opposed to. But as a pitiful attempt to keep his reputation, he'll settle for beating them black and blue, until his knuckles are covered in a deep rouge. Jealousy is a terrible disease and once he reaches his limit don't try and stop him.

KI-JA

Jealous, insecure, delusional (worship)

One of the few good yanderes you could be paired with. Ki-Ja is very attentive to his lover and their feelings no matter what he's doing. The dragon is quick to side with you even over his own master because, in his mind, you're never wrong. Everything you say is law and Ki-Ja follows every command without a second thought.

When he’s jealous it’s so painfully obvious. Ki-Ja’s emotions come in waves so when he dislikes something it's hard for him to bite his tongue. The white dragon practically worships the ground you walk on and follows you every step of the way. His loyalty runs deeper than his own blood so he'd rather not see people referring to you so familiarly. (Is he Yona's dragon or yours atp?)

Your praise is forever rewarding, regardless of how small it may be. Just being by your side is the greatest honor one could have, in his eyes. You could look down on him, subjecting him to being nothing more than entertainment, and he would somehow tie it back to you being a kind person. Ki-Ja sees himself as not only your lover but your loyal companion, prepared to stick by your side no matter what happens.

He would never kidnap you, that's out of the question. The thought of you hating him for his selfish acts submerges him with panic. If you were to leave him, he'd wish for death on the spot. But that's only an IF. And killing would only be justifiable if someone has hurt you.

JAE-HA

Manipulative, Possessive, flirty

Jae-ha flirts solely for his own pleasure. No true feelings lie behind his words no matter how beautiful the individual may be. But with you, he felt like a wild animal chasing a female in heat from the way his eyes followed you. You were beautiful, more than the many others he gave his time to, and he was a bit too determined to make you his.

Once a ladies' man always a ladies' man. As I’ve said, he could give two fucks about the women he banters with, they mean nothing to him, but somehow seeing your face contort into a harsh scowl turns him on more than you'd ever know. If looks could kill, he’d be six feet under and he knows that. But I have a sneaking suspicion that he wouldn't mind.

However, your talking to another man leaves him quite bitter (hypocrite). The passive aggressiveness this man dishes out is unmatched; he will rip them a new asshole for even breathing the same air as you. None of your friends compare to you and he tells you that every day. Jae-Ha worships the ground you walk on, satisfies and pleasures you every evening so why was your attention elsewhere?

On a regular day, Jae-ha can be seen by your side, trying his hardest to get under your skin. Placing a hand on the small of your back, biting several of the plush areas of your skin that he can reach. He doesn't shy away from PDA. Mainly due to the curious stares you receive from men that pass you by, their eyes hastily lingering on your figure. It vexes him to no end but he won’t bother getting his hands dirty. Perhaps you can help him let off some steam.

ZENO

Emotionally attached, clingy, dependent

An attention whore at its finest. But seriously, this man thrives off your love and time. It's like a drug to him and he craves it. Whenever he isn’t tending to Yona he tends to you instead. If he could have it his way, every waking moment would be spent in your arms, sleeping the days away.

He's one of the better yanderes of the dragons due to the many centuries he's lived. Don't get me wrong he's completely infatuated with you and is hung up on every word you speak. But he's not one to control your decisions as long as he gets to tag along. Zeno trusts you with his entirety, he just enjoys invading your personal space.

Zeno gets jealous of people like Hak quite often. He's strong physically and mentally even as a human and as much as Zeno admires his strength, he doesn't need you doing that too. So if you plan on interacting with Hak, be prepared for some pretty embarrassing things. Zeno will place slow, wet kisses on your skin until he has your attention again.

The only real downside of this relationship is his clinginess. He never leaves your side. Oh, you have to get changed? He'll help you. You have to use the bathroom? Cool, he’ll wait ‘till you're done and sit right in front of you. Personal space doesn’t exist in your relationship and at times it gets really suffocating. You couldn’t reject him if you wanted to in fear that his reaction will leave your heart aching in regret.

I was wondering since I rarely see this for Akatsuki no Yona. Like a Chubby reader. That's all. Like didn't they exist back then too?...

So basically Reader was Yona's personal maid, one of her most trusted friends like Hak and Soowon. So now they are apart of the group and basically feel out of place. She has a crush on Jae-ha but knowing he only goes for "attractive" women she doesn't act upon her feelings.

Summary: In which you confess to Yona that you have a crush on Jae-ha, but he'd never like you back because you're chubby and he only goes for thin women. Little do you know that someone is listening in on all this o.o

[A/N: OMg hi...I KNOW I KNOW. It's been way over a year since you requested it. If you're still around, you're probably wondering what the heck this is as it's been long forgotten. I'm sorry it took me so long to write, I had it half written in my drafts all this time because I started second guessing myself and I really loved this request and didn't think I could do it justice. SO here's my completed version of this. I hope it's decent, and hopefully you're still interesting in reading it :'). Sorry if it's disappointing NFEKJFKAEF <;3]

It was night now. Months had passed since Yona ran out of her castle after her father's murder. Hak had saved the both of you from Soowoon’s revenge on her father as you would not back down and go to their side either. Yona loved and respected you, so you owed her everything, and that still hadn’t changed. You still refer to her as Princess, just like Hak, but the two of you were closer than ever–going beyond the friendship a personal maid and a Princess should probably ever have.

Owls hooted in the background and the sound of crickets surrounded you. You had all stopped for the night to set up camp, and were currently in your shared tent with Yona and Yoon. The young boy was fast asleep in the far corner of the tent, exhausted from running around all day, but you and Yona were wide awake from the excitement of the day–too pumped to even think about sleeping just yet. Giggles escaped your mouth at the girl-talk that was being exchanged between you both, then Yona began to blush as you asked her about her feelings for Hak. You had noticed the change in the atmosphere between them for a while now.

“He’s just…different from how I used to see him? Instead of just seeing him as that annoying kid back then, he’s more of a man in my eyes now… He said some uh, lovely things to me the other night and it just made me realize my feelings even more,” She hides her head in her hands, thinking back on the deep conversation she had with the raven haired man a few nights ago, but clears her throat and turns the attention away from herself, “What about you, Y/N? Seen anyone in any villages that have caught your eye? Or perhaps even someone among us, hmm?”

You could hear the slight tease in her voice at her question, she fully knew who you liked, but wanted to hear you say it yourself. After all, what fun is girl-talk if she was the only one dropping juicy information.

“Well…there is someone I like, but he’d never go for a girl like me…” you trail off, looking down at your hands.

“Jae-ha would love you, Y/N. You’re gorgeous, kind, and you have a heart of gold, I see the way he looks at you whenever your back is turned.”

“W-what? How did you know it was Jae-ha?” You ask bewildered.

Yona laughs, placing a hand on your shoulder, “So it really is him? I was just making a lucky guess, wow.”

You huff. Perhaps it was a little obvious since you always got nervous around him and ONLY him. The slight disappointment that graced your features whenever he spoke of a beautiful woman he ran into in town. The tiny sparks of desire to have him speak to you with those lovely words, but it would never happen.

“He was probably just wondering why I can’t be so open with him like I am with everyone else,” You sigh. “I know I don’t belong here. You’re gorgeous and way above my social status. The other guys in our group are all very attractive as well, I’m the only one who sticks out like a sore thumb, but I guess I just have to deal with it!”

You fake a smile, regretting a little that you opened up too much.

“Y/N, is that really how you’ve been feeling this whole time?” Yona asks, her voice now softer at your confession.

“It’s alright, really. I’m used to it by now, I don’t know why I suddenly decided to say that all right now. Everything’s okay!”

“No, everything’s not okay. Y/N, you are the most beautiful person I know. I don’t care if you think your extra weight makes you ugly compared to the rest of us, that doesn’t make a difference in my eyes and Jae-ha would be a fool to have that be a difference to him as well! Tell him how you feel! He would treat you like royalty.” Yona explains, a little enraged that you’ve been feeling this way all this time without her realizing it, “And I know we come from different backgrounds, but out here, we’re all the same. You and I are on the same level. You’re my best friend, and that won’t ever change! You are one of us, part of the happy hungry bunch! It wouldn’t be the same without you.”

“Thank you, Princess Yona. You’ve been a great blessing to me and I’m so very grateful to be your friend,” You smile slightly, but it falls again when you think of Jae-ha. “It seems that Jae-ha only goes for thin, beautiful women though. I can’t imagine him directing those compliments to me when I’m the complete opposite of all those women…I- I guess I just wish he could see me as a beautiful woman despite my weight. Even if it was only for a second.”

Yona once again assures you that you are indeed beautiful and that nothing is wrong with you. She was a little lost for words on what else she could say to help you feel better, she just wished you could see yourself the way that she saw you–a beautiful woman, inside and out.

With every dance break and high note, the boys cheered, one might say even louder than the girls did for them. Definitely something to be said for enthusiasm.

The girls finished after about three minutes, and again, they met with the boys backstage.

”Our Katie did such a great job!” Said Riki, imitating Katie from earlier.

”Don’t even,” Katie warned, hating people tickling her.

Y/n laughed with her members and the boys as they complimented the girls and laughed together, but she began to zone out. She was snapped out of her trance when she felt arms around her waist. “You did well Y/n,” said Jungwon, whispering it into her ear. Despite what Jungwon really meant by it, it sent shivers down her spine. She mumbled an excuse before removing herself from his hold. In her head, it felt like betraying Jay, even though that wasn’t the case. They weren’t together, and she didn’t even know for sure if Jungwon was trying to flirt or not.

”I need some air, I’ll be back,” Y/n waved to everyone before leaving to the roof of the building.

She sighed as she laid on the concrete of the roof. It was peaceful to be alone and look up into the stars. Until, it isn’t so peaceful.

”Y/n?” Came Jungwon’s voice, followed by soft footsteps. “Can I talk to you?”

She sighed for a moment and didn't know what to say. She was lost in her thoughts and her gaze wandered around the room away from her husband's eyes.

“My love...look at me ”. He responds in a soft voice trucking her hair behind her ear.

She looks into his eyes.. Aegon smilies softly at her. His thumb traced a small smile on her lips.. “Now show that sweet smilie of yours ”.

She chuckles sweetly “you're an idiot ”. She hits his shoulder playfully.. “An idiot? ”He raises an eyebrow and then teases her “Is this how you speak to your king? ”.

she smilies and nodded.. “I think I should punish you, my queen ”. he chuckles.

The queen Y/n was in her daughter's room braiding her own hair.. Jaehaera was innocent and sweet girl.. Literally her father daughter. The Queen tried hard not to see Jaehaerys in her so as not to treat her as a substitute.

“Do you love me mother? ”. The little princess speaks.

Y/N looks at her girl and smilies softly.. “Yes darling.. so much”. The Queen answers in a soft tone.

“And father? ”. she replies.. “We both love you sweetie ”. Y/n smiles and gently strokes her daughter's hair.

“I love you two as well”.

“mother...why did they killed my brother?”.

The queen's face tensed at this question but she sighs and answers her daughter.. “Because they are evil people who want to hurt me and your father ”.

“But.. he's innocent ”. she replies

“I know sweetie... I know.. ”. She whispers and hugs her daughter to her chest.

“It's not your fault with what adults do.. ”

“I don't want you or father to get hurt ”. Jaehaera replies with a sweet smilie and wipes her mother's tears.

Y/N smilies a warm smile and looks at her sweet girl.The princess wraps her little arms around her mother's neck.

“What are my girls doing? ”. Aegon's warm, loving voice interrupts them.

The princess breaks the hug and looks at her father “Your grace”. She node gently.

Aegon grinned at the sight of his daughter. He quickly walks over to her and holds her in his arms “Did my beautiful little princess missed me?”. He gently tapped his nose against his daughter's nose.

Y/N smilies at the view. He notices her smile and says “My doves, I was looking for you.. We have a meeting now”.

“Now? But..we were having a good time ”. The princess frowns gently.

“Yes, sweetie, sorry ”. he looks at her and smilies.

“It won't take long, sweetheart, I promise ”. her mother said with a pretty smilie.... “Yes darling ”. Aegon replies.

The king approached and took his wife's hand.. “Wait! father”. the little princess exclaims

Aegon turns around with a warm smile on his face then he kneels until he reaches his daughter's height “What is it my joy?”he looks at her.

She takes a small rose from her little rosey crown and she tucked it between her father's silver locks.

He smiles and places a tender kiss on her cheek.Then he gets up and leaves his precious princess's room with his wife.

“I beg your pardon, Your Majesty.. but the council prefer that we must send the princess and prince to a safe place”

“Tell him! He's stubborn ”. Y/N replies.

“My dear queen I think we've discussed this already”. Aegon he replies in a serious and confident tone as he sits up straight in his chair with his hands on the council table.

“I know, my love.. but- He interrupted her, looking at her “Y/N...I have told you before ”.

“Aegon right my dear..I don't want my grandchildren away from me”. Alicant replies to her daughter.

“Mother-

Their meeting is interrupted by one of the kingsguard. He enters the room breathlessly. “Your- your grace A sensitive incident occurred in the princess's chamber”.

“WHAT HAPPENED? ”. Y/N replies with a worry tone.

“SPEAK BEFORE I HAVE YOUR TONGUE! ” Aegon growls at him as he gets up from his chair.

“I'm afraid I can't say..”.

The king kicks his chair and walks towards the guard, holding his dagger “Speak before I-”. the sound of the council room door being opened interrupts him.

He saw his wife leaving so as he let the guard and walk behind her.. “Your grace the meeting-

He threw his dagger towards the council table, piercing the wood as a warning to them that whoever prevents him from leaving will regret it.

The queen walks towards her daughter's rooms, her feet trembling and her heart beating faster than ever she felt her ribs contract and her breath become more severe as she got closer and closer...

She felt as if she had been punched in the face with the hilt of a sword.. She saw the maids gathering in her daughter's room. She entered slowly she didn't say a word.. She got closer and closer..

The servants made way for her to see her little girl lying on her bed with her toy in her hand.. Her sweet face was pale and her skin was cold as ice... and there was blood flowing from her little nose and mouth..

It was a terrifying sight and the queen immediately collapsed and fell on her knees. When Aegon arrived and saw the scene unfolding before him, he felt something shatter inside him.

He dismissed the servants from the room and approached to his daughter's bed..

“I- I have Told you!”She shouted at him.. “It's because of you!! You killed her ” Y/N screamed again and collapsed violently.

“Y... y- y- you”.Her lips tremble as she says the words.

He did not answer her, but tears fell to his cheek he tucked her silver locks behind her ear. He felt like he was a real killer..

He looked behind him to find his wife kneeling on the cold ground, her tears flowing abundantly like rain on a stormy night.

He kneels next to her and hugs her to his chest.. She hits his chest with small fists and stutters between her words.. “M- my-My precious daughter”... She sniffles..

“Aeg-

“Shhhhh I'm sorry”. he whispers and a small tears sparkle at the corner of his eyes.

The king was standing on the balcony of the Red Keep, staring at the night sky. Lost in his thoughts..

Suddenly he pulled out the small rose that tucked between his silver locks he looks at the rose and small tears shed in his eyes.. pain and sadness..

He goes to his wife's room to find that she has calmed down now but signs of sadness were still on her face.

“It was our duty to protect our children... but- ” She muttered, with broken voice.. “We failed.. Jaehaerys... Jaehaera.. they.. they.. they deserve better parents”.

He looked at her, then approached and knelt at her chair “Don't say that.. We did what we could-

“It wasn't Enough!”. She muttered.

“My sweetheart please-”She interrupts him before he finishes his sentence.. “She was good.. kind.. Since the day she was born.. I don't know from where she came from” She gasped. “She was nothing like me.. not jealousy not mean.. so pure.. so beautiful ”

“No.. don't say that you're amazing”He whispers back and cups her cheeks.

“They did not rest until they brought us to the ground ”. she replied and looked at him.

He leans closer and looks into her lavender eyes “Fuck them.. fuck the crown.. fuck the throne.. fuck everyone who isn't us”... He continued. “There is no one in the world but us.. what they took from us..this is plot against us.. we will pay it back a hundred times over.. do you hear me? ”

She nods and hugs him.. he hugs her back and his hands are stroking her hair..

They will regret..

He beats himself up over not being quick enough and letting her take the blow for him. All he can do now is make sure she gets better. It's agonising watching her in pain, but he'll make sure she gets through this.

It happens before he can stop it. He should've seen it coming, he should've sensed something was off, but he didn't think they'd try to get him so quick.

Y/N and him were currently sitting side by side in the town's local brothel, accompanied by women and men. The influence of Nadai had been great on this town, so the team had decided to track down the main distributer.

The man was sitting right in front of them. Jae-ha is sure the man doesn't know who they are, and they'd only been talking for about half an hour.

The fact that he'd try to spike Jae-ha's drink so soon startled even him.

The fact that he's not the one who ends up taking the drink is even worse.

Y/N, the love of his life, grabs the small cup out of her hand and before he can react, she downs it in one go. Jae-ha stares at her questioningly, but she just shakes her head with a smile.

"Quite thirsty, weren't you?" The man says and, eyeing the empty cup.

Y/N smiles, and grips Jae-ha's forearm.

"It's a hot day, after all, and the company makes it stifling." The smile she gives makes even the women in the room pause in amazement. Her charm was one of the things Jae-ha loved about her. She could keep up with him, and getting her flustered was a game he loved to play.

Jae-ha knows something's wrong when the grip on his forearm tightens to an unusual extent. When he glances at her, he can see beads of sweat forming on the back of her neck.

It takes a few glances between the empty cup and her quivering smile for it to click into place.

"As much I enjoy the company, I think it's about time we take our leave." Although they try and stop the two, Jae-ha waves their protests off good naturedly and stands, helping Y/N up. He can't stop the spike of cold fear when she leans against him to stay upright.

The cool air as they exit the building does nothing to make her feel better. s soon as they're at a safe place, in a nearby alley away from the brothel, Jae-ha leans her against the stone wall and talks.

"You knew it was spiked." She's breathing heavily, sweating hard and she can only nod. Jae-ha clenched his jaw in frustration.

"Why would you do that?! You knew it was spiked with Nadai, and you still drank it!?" He can't fathom why on Earth she would do that.

"You-...you would've drank it oth-otherwise." She coughs and doubles over and he quickly grabs her, helping her lean on him.

"Couldn't make you...you go through th-...that again." Is the last thing she chokes out, before passing out, slumping over in her boyfriend's arms. Jae-ha calls out her name, but it's no use. Cursing, he shifts her so she's secure on his back and starts making his way back to the camp they had set up, in the woods surrounding the town.

As he jumps and the air hits him, he can't help but feel helpless. He should've picked it up. He should've known. Maybe if he got her to Yoon quick enough, the boy could help lessen the inevitable symptoms...

He winces and grits his teeth as he recalls the amount of pain he was in. He recalls it as agonising, and just thinking about Y/N going through that makes him angry enough to have trouble supressing the urge to go back to that place and tear that man to shreds.

As he lands, the others come out to greet them, but stop short at the sight of Y/N. From there, Yoon whisks her away into one of the tents and all Jae-ha can do is stand there helplessly and berate himself for letting this happen.

Yoon does not manage to lessen the symptoms.

The next day is horrible, Y/N thrashing around and crying out every so often. She can't think straight. The only thing she's known the moment she woke up is pain, deep and aching and constant. It's horrible and she can't stop crying out and the tears, even if she wanted too. Her shouts make the others wince and struggle to stoml down their frustration. Their friend was in pain and they couldn't do anything.

Hak and Yona had left for the town to go track down the guy who did this the moment they heard her first scream. Hak had gotten up silently and marched towards town, Yona following behind him, emitting a similar air of seriousness. Y/N and Yona were quite close, being the only two women. She was older than her, a year younger than Jae-ha, but they got along smoothly.

Jae-ha was trying his best to keep his cool. He hadn't left her side since the morning. He's been sitting next to her, making sure she has everything she needs and trying to soothe her when she has a particularly bad wave of pain. He finds himself trembling, but he'd rather take a shot of Nadai than care about himself right now.

This was a nightmare. His worst fear. He's been wired to protect. He's always been a protective person, actually. By nature, he's learned to cherish the things he really holds dear.

Y/N was high up on that list.

And she was in pain because of him.

He places a hand on her forehead, brushing her hair away from her face as she breaths harshly. She clenches her eyes shut.

"You're okay." His voice shakes and if the others were to see him like this...

"You'll be okay...I promise."

His breath hitches as her hand reaches up to grab his wrist. The whisper of his name is pained, but carries a sense of relief.

"Jae-ha..."

"I'm here, love. I'm here." He mutters, bringing her hand up to kiss the back of her palm. She relaxes, even if a little and it makes his heart ache. It makes him want to yell and break something, seeing her like this. He can't do anything but stay by her side and help her get through this.

It goes on for hours. When her pain finally subsides, she's goes unconscious, clearly exhausted. It's only then when Jae-ha lets go of her hand, gently placing it next to her and tucking a blanket around her. He runs a hand through his hair and sighs, pulling his hand back to look at it. He's still shaking. Bowing his head, he buries his face in his hands and lets out a breath.

He doesn't know when he fell asleep, but he's woken up by the sound of shuffling and gentle coughing.

The second time she woke up, she still ached all over, but the pain had washed away considerably. She still felt horrible, but was able to move. Wincing, she tries to sit up. Jumping as she feels a hand on her back, helping her sit up, she glances beside her.

“Jae-ha?” Her voice is hoarse from crying and it makes him wince. His name barely leaves her lips before he’s holding her in a tight hug.

It’s familiar and warm and she relaxes into it.

“Never again. Never do that again, understand?” When she doesn’t respond, he pulls back a little, enough to meet her eyes with a frown.

“Y/N. I’m serious. I don’t want-”

“I’d do it again to protect you.” She cuts him off. “I’d do it in a heartbeat if...if it means keeping you safe.”

There’s a beat of silence, and she pulled back in, Jae-ha tucking her head into the crook of his neck.

“Unbelievable. You’re insane.” He mumbles, burying his face into the side of her face, placing small kisses into her hair.

She hums, letting her eyes slip shut, a loose hold on the back of his cloak.

Jae-ha doesn’t let her go until Yoon comes back and practically pries him off. It would be a while before he stops staying close to her.

A/N: I’m sorry this is kinda late, I hope that it’s to your liking anyways. :)

So initially, it feels like Jae-ha isn’t paying attention at all

As such, you just try to pretend that everything is fine and you weren’t anxious at all

You do your best to just pretend everything is fine on the outside while internally, you were about two seconds from breaking down

The result is a mess of guilt, anxiety, fear and eventually, you spend so much time trying to not burden Jae-ha that you just start avoiding him

Your boyfriend, of course, noticed that you weren’t doing so well

Whenever you were asked to do tasks, you never looked all the way there

When he’d watch you doing tasks, you did them so slowly and carefully that it’d be the only thing you accomplished that day

You’re gonna have to break the silence because Shin-ah’s kinda freaking out internally

“What’s up, Shin-ah? What’d you wanna talk to me about?”

He takes a moment, testing out the words and trying to put the right ones together, “You’re...are you ok?

Your smile becomes a lot more tense and it doesn’t quite meet your eyes

“What do you mean Shin-ah, I’m just fine.”

He’s tempted to drop it, but something within him is telling him not to

He goes silent again, thinking long and hard about what else he could say

“Look Shin-ah, I don’t want you to worry about me ok? We’ve all got things to do and you shouldn’t waste your time worrying about me.”

“But... I care about you.”, it really slipped out before he even realized what he was saying. It was true though, he cared about his friends, sure, but he cared about you in an entirely different way

Your face crumpled, you reached out to him tentatively

You’d lied because you didn’t want to worry anyone, but guilt hit you like a ton of bricks at his admission

Explaining yourself to him wasn’t easy, Shin-ah always looked at you like you put the stars in the sky

Having to tell someone who looks at you so reverently, that you felt like a burden who was only good for messing up, was embarrassingly difficult

Although when you finished and finally got the courage to look up at him, you could feel the understanding in his eyes through his mask

Even as he reached up to undo his mask and press his head against yours, you’d never felt safer or more understood

Hi anon! Sorry for the wait, you absolutely can have headcanons of that! I think Kija and Jaeha especially would be fun watching when it comes to an injured s/o, so thanks for sending this in!

Because anon has used she/her pronouns, I will also be employing that in these headcanons where applicable!

Kija

When Kija finds you with Yoon treating your injuries, he is immensely and instantly worried. Kija's the type to fret a lot about small things, so if he could take ten thousand arrows to soothe your pain, he would do it.

But that's unfortunately not how healing works, so he refuses to leave your side until Yoon finishes dressing you and tells him that it'll heal without an issue. He may refuse to leave your side after that too.

He'd ask Yoon about several things and try to change the dressings himself based on what he's learned. Unfortunately, his abilities are no where near as skilled as Yoon's, and the claws bestowed on his right hand do little but wear the bandages or tear them. He's clumsy trying to take care of you, to say the least.

He'd feel frustrated at how useless he is, how only Yoon can help you and how he failed to prevent your injury in the first place, no matter what he was doing at the time.

Until you recover, he does everything in his power so that you rest. You're forced to concede to his adorable authoratative tone every time you try to move. "Do not move! Yoon has instructed that you rest! I shall fetch that for you, Love." He attaches that pet name to each of his sentences like he's happy to be at your beck and call while you heal, and he unabashedly is.

This is exclusively figurative and metaphorical— but he's sort of like a puppy that tries to lick at your wounds if that makes any sense. The licking is more like staying by your side, making sure you have everything you need and keeping you company. Note the futility of the wound-licking in terms of actual wound-healing. It's just nice because he very obviously cares.

"It's only natural for the duty to be mine to care for Y/N until she recovers!"

Jaeha

Jaeha would be fascinating to watch. Despite his usual attitude, he's visibly shaken when he sees your bandages soaked in red. Soaked in red on your body.

Although he wants to stick by you and take care of you, he can't seem to forfeit his pride as he does so. He makes himself more composed than how he really feels as he changes your bandages. And he didn't volunteer to, nor had he asked Yoon about it. Yoon simply told him to, of course, and who was he to deny Yoon and refuse time next to you? Even though he could just do it if he wanted to and it would make no difference.

While you're injured, Jaeha's fraught with a silly internal conflict as he navigates his feelings of worry towards you and a fear of acting like he's too worried. That explains why he'd rather you didn't know about how intentional his close proximity to you is. How he'd keep the herbs Yoon used on you in mind and excuse himself and leave for the fields without telling anyone what he was up to.

If you're injured and unable to use your hands, he'd feed you while teasing you about it. As if he's not absolutely ecstatic to be in the position he's in right now.

Throughout your recovery, he'll let his walls down here and there, often while griping about how hopeless you are, when he more means to convey how hopeless he is— how hopelessly carved into his being you are, and your injury would only serve as proof of that.

This poor boy does not know what to do.

This was his first time dating someone, so he doesn't know what to do.

But you, who had past relationships before. knew what to do.

But to him, it was hard but it got easy over time.

Dating him would be pretty chaotic.

Its always you coming to save his ass whenever he's in trouble, and you scolding him afterwards.

But since you were dating Suhyeok, it was obvious you would get targeted by others.

He's a very loving boyfriend.

And he get's jealous very easily, Suhyeok would clung onto if he ever saw someone flirting with you.

Suhyeok is just in love with you so much, but has a sense of fear lingering the back of his head that you will find someone so much better than him.

There were some nights that had him thinking of breaking up with you, but never fully went through it because he knows how you love him and he loves you too much to do so.

You pay him back by usually doing what he wants for the day, but it usually ends on what you want to do since he's content on just spending the day with you.

Seok gets jealousy but not easily as Suhyeon.

He knows that won't leave him for another person just because they flirted with you.

Just like Seok, he had prior dating experience before, but it was usually a one month relationship before it ended.

But this was the first long relationship he ever had with anyone, so it was surprise to him and everyone who knew about his dating life.

He was nervous, he didn't know what to but you were there to reassure him and lead him along the way.

Over time, Jaeha got overprotective of you which if someone ever hurt you, Jaeha would be a manipulative, cunning bastard, basically threatening them while also shaming them.

And since you are Jaeha Han partner, a lot of people were after you.

So Jaeha was always by your side 24/7 since he doesn't trust any of his guys enough to be alone with you, tbh. He doesn't like the thought of someone else other than him being alone with you.

He had never experience an anniversary before, since his relationships only end after 1 month, so he gets you some chocolate, teddy bear, flowers, F/F and much more just for you.

And whenever you would surprise him with a gift, he would keep it at his room, and stares at it sometimes as it comforts him.

Whenever you two got into an argument, and it was his fault. He would storm out of the house/apartment to let out some steam, he would be gone for hours and would be back and was already kneeling down on the ground, apologizing to you.

But if it was your fault, he would force you to sit down with him and talk to him. He doesn't want the day to end with a bitter taste on his mouth.

Does Jaeha get jealous very easily? Yes, way more than Suhyeok.

The way he deals with it is by hugging you while flipping the person off, while saying.

"Their taken, fuck off."

His behavior surprise you but you found it funny and endearing to say the least.

Does he have the same thoughts as Suhyeok? Yes and No.

He does think of it but shook that though off with saying that his loyal to you and you are loyal to him.

And you have already reassured him about it when he talked it about to you.

That made Jaeha smile, happy at the reassurance.

Synopsis: The reader is an ancient God who travels as a human, but every century loses her memory to protect themselves. Now, she's debating on turning her love interest into a god to return to heaven with her.

BEING THE WOMANIZER he is, Jae-ha has come across his fair share of pretty faces; but he didn't expect a goddess to be one of them. It was evident that you were from the heavens, blessed with ineffable amounts of beauty and an ambiance just as tempting. It was no surprise the man would look to pursue you.

It's decided; he shall join you in the afterlife. As your one and only, to bask in your beauty and grace until the sun touches the horizon. Somehow you managed to sweep the playboy off his feet in record-breaking time, although that's supposedly his job. It was almost embarrassing how fast he accepted your proposal, so much so that a deep red tinge can be seen dusting his cheeks. Never had he been so enamored with a woman, one way out of his league at that.

Now the memory aspect has piqued his interest. Relationships are precious, insightful even, so why would you want to forget them? Regardless, he respects your decision. Yet over time, Jae-Ha soon realizes he'd rather you lose all memories that don't include him. After all, he's a bit jealous of all the experiences you may have had with your past lovers, and he'd rather not have any more competition than needed.

A REAL LIFE GODDESS in the flesh? Woah, this must be his lucky day. Like with most things in life, Zeno is ecstatic. Through the many centuries he's lived, not once has he been graced with the presence of a deity such as yourself. Beautiful doesn't begin to describe the beauty that endowed you. It was as though he was looking a fairy tale princess right in the eyes. Various compliments spilled from his smiling lips faster than he could account for. If he was feeling even the slightest bit of shame you had not noticed.

This being your human form enticed him to dig up the real you. He would hate to k now you're hiding anything from him. You are not obligated to unveil what you desire not to, but he'd rather bask in as much of your authenticity as "humanely" possible. Zeno is quite jealous of your ability to forget about the past, and until he met you he wished to do the same. Maybe then would he be able to start all over again and experience life one step at a time with you sticking closely by his side.

Zeno's dragon grants him the gift of immortality so dying is out of the question. He has lived to see many dragons come and go, greeted by death and to god knows where. It saddens him that even with his new powers he won't be able to fulfill your wishes. In the end, Zeno's purpose is to serve Yona and no one else. But only one woman can make his heart beat so sporadically, rendering him speechless each time they meet eyes.

“It's a shame, y'know? I really wish I could go with you and keep you company. Hah—!? Don't cry; we'll figure something out, I'm sure of it!”

SOMEONE SO POWERFUL should have never taken interest in him, but oh is he glad they did. A deity, from the heavens nonetheless, had come before him with curiosity at that. Tone/Genre: I really want this to be like one of those letters that you'd receive in the old west or during times of war. You know? Where you've been separated for song long and you've waited to hear from your love for months and you finally get a letter from the post office. That kind of tone. Just love, affection, yearning to be together again, tears of joy and sadness, hoping that they'll come home soon, telling them all the things they done and seen, missing them terribly. Weeks.

It had been weeks of you waiting to hear back from your husband, Jae-ha. He was out with the other dragons, fighting to make sure you and your new family have a safe world to live in together.

You touch your baby bump, you were still fairly early in your pregnancy, but the hormones were making you very emotional already. You always thought the worst and you had to stop yourself each time you wanted to run from your home to go out and look for him. You promised.

Before he left, which was a few days after you shared the exciting news of your pregnancy with him after seeing the village doctor due to health concerns. You never thought you’d be a mother, nor did Jae-ha think he would ever be a father–at least not before he met you. Yet now all those impossibilities were becoming possible, and it was all thanks to you.

You had made a promise that you’d stay home where it was safe; that you’d keep you and your future child healthy and at home where nothing could hurt you. You knew better than to put yourself at risk by going out and accidentally running into bandits. Who knows what they’d possibly do to you, especially if they found out you were pregnant. You shudder at the thought.

Thankfully, you’re taken out of your disturbing thoughts by a knock at your door.

“Delivery,” the person says.

You make your way to the door, recognizing the voice of the mail carrier. You had been watching for him everyday, always asking if he had anything new for you, but the answer was always no. Not a word from Jae-ha. But today, things seemed hopeful.

“Is it a letter?” You ask him hopefully, praying for it to be a sign, or anything at all from your husband.

“I think it may be what you’ve been waiting for lady. I hope it is,” the older man winks, passing you the wrapped paper and carrying on to deliver his other packages and letters.

You thank the man and close the door before taking a seat in your kitchen, instantly recognizing the handwriting on the top of the letter. It was Jae-ha;

My Darling Wife,

Ahh, I’ll never get used to calling you that. My wife, my lovely, beautiful wife. The mother to our incoming child. Has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? I’m sorry for keeping you waiting for so long, sweetheart. Things were pretty active for the past few weeks here. It was too risky to send anything to you.

I assure you though, I am okay. We all are. A few scratches here and there, but nothing major. How are you darling? Is our child treating you well? I’ve missed you dearly out here, but as much as I would love to have you here with me, I can’t risk putting you in danger.

At night I sleep under the stars and hope that the ones I see are the ones you can see as well. I wonder if we are ever looking at the moon at the same time or if our dreams have ever crossed paths, desperate to see one another again. I miss waking up beside you, feeling your warmth in my arms…I can’t wait to be back home with you.

Aside from these hectic few weeks, things have been great. The nice part of being out here is that we’ve been to so many new villages and met all kinds of people. Yoon has his own little collection of books now; the kid is really smart, he’s helped us out a lot. The other guys are the same as always, they told me to let you know that they’re thinking of you and wish you well.

They can’t believe I’m going to be a father though. Darling, you need to show them your bump when we get back. Then they’ll have to believe it.

Ahh~ your bump. You’re probably showing a lot more compared to when I last saw you. I feel bad for missing out on the stages of your pregnancy…I’m sorry.

Thankfully though, things are going well now. We should be heading back home in another week or so. It’s still too long though, just writing this makes me crave you even more.

I love you so much, please keep waiting for me. I’ll send another letter as soon as I can. See you soon, darling.

You can’t stop the sobs that escape your lips, crying even harder as one of your tears smear one of his words. Knowing he was out there fighting who knows who and could potentially never return after getting killed, hurt so much. Especially now with your child on the way.

You were crying in relief as well though. He was okay and things were looking better now. He’d be back in your arms in another week or so. You could do this.

Taking deep breaths, you close your eyes and imagine your husband in your mind. His cheeky smile, his long green hair, his shining violet eyes, the love he’d pour over you all the time. You were his queen and he was your king–a perfect match. Gosh you missed him, but you could do this.

Worrying too much wasn’t good for the baby, and you wanted to ensure your child arrived safely into this world. Only a few more days and you’d see him again.

It would be hard, but you were a tough woman, you were tough enough to handle the beast that Jae-ha was, you could handle this too.

You fold his letter and hold it close to your chest, almost wishing you could absorb his words for strength.

“I love you,” you whisper to the wind, hoping it would reach him.
