WOW this ask looks so broken on mobile for some reason but YAYYY YIPPEEEEE WUNCLE WORLD ^_^ surprisingly fleshed out for a world where literally the only two characters I've been able to think up names for are the titular Wuncle and Earnest.

Wait im gonna put this infodump under a read more. Just in case. Yeah it's a long one.

ANYWAYS it's from a concept I came up with some time last year I think? (GOING BACK AFTER LOOKING UP WHEN I FIRST TALKED ABOUT THEM. IT WAS THIS YEAR. LOL.) Earnest is this miserable kid in the 'real' world whose parents died in a ~MYSTERIOUS INCIDENT~. One day out of nowhere their deadbeat uncle Joe (who they barely remember, hasn't seen him since the death of their parents) yanks them into the MAGIC world where he reveals that he and Earnest's mom come from a super long line of extremely powerful wizards, that Earnest's mom only moved to Boring World to be with the cringe fail love of her life or whatever 🙄, and that Earnest should basically come live with him in his AWESOME WIZARD TOWER instead of the STUPID REAL WORLD so they can study under him to become the next great wizard in the family or whatever.

Instead of being super hyped for this opportunity like Joe THINKS is gonna happen, Earnest is like. 'Dude what the fuck? I barely know you. I don't care about this. Take me back. I miss my Nintendo DS.'

To this Wuncle Joe responds 'ohhhh ummmm actually creating a portal to boringland is incredibly difficult and can only occur like once every ten years when the planets align jussst right so basically you're stuck here anyways 😁👍but don't worry it's cool I'm cool we're cool.' And thus begins Earnest's involuntary apprenticeship 👍

Other characters Wuncle World include:

Wuncles' Familar: Wuncle Joe made a deal with this demon essentially stating that in exchange for his soul (after he dies ((a powerful wizards soul is a rare and tasty treat for a demon))) she works for him and basically does whatever. Basically his assistant. Very silly very goofy VERY VERY EVIL. but cant really do any SUPER evil stuff unless joe says so. At least until he dies :). She's capable of shape-shifting and typical demon stuff but her default form looks like this (old drawings <3) vvv

DRYAD KID: a little ways away from Wuncle's Tower, which is surrounded by a dense and super magical forest, is a secret town of various naturey creatures. Dryads, Nymphs, Satyrs, Pixies etc etc etc. Earnest learns about it through the Dryad Kid, who at first is like 'OH FUCK yes new kid in the forest', then Earnest is like 'yeah I moved into the wizard tower. With my uncle. The wizard.' And the Dryad kid is like. '.........ohhhhh 😬 that guy.'

Dryad Kid acts as Earnest's primary guide to the magical realms as well as their first glimpse into the fact that Wuncle Joe isn't just some deadbeat fool, but a public nuisance at best and a malicious force in the realm at worst. If Earnest isn't busy doing stupid wizard shit with their uncle, chances are they're hanging out with Dryad Kid.

HONORABLE CHARACTER MENTIONS (even less flushed out guys but still important):

KING AND PRINCE: king of the big main kingdom. Wuncle Joe's old boss. Also not a great guy but it's less obvious at first. His son is the prince who acts as like. A rival to Earnest before they both realize they're kind of in similar boats and become friends.

WIZARD COUNCIL: grand council of wizards that controls. Well you know. Wizard stuff. Fate of the world shit. They fucking hate Wuncle Joe. Hardasses but not necessarily evil.

EARNEST 'S MOM: very very very powerful wizard. Clearly had some crazy beef with Joe before she died but most of the specifics are unknown to Earnest until later in the plot.

Overall plot is like. Earnest gradually discovering that Wuncle Joe is actually the primary antagonist of this world. They have to Outwizard and Outscheme him before he can destroy everything basically.

Thank you for asking about my wizard world Austin in lives in my head rent free <3 this essentially only scratches the surface of its Whole Deal. But this was already super long LOL

But early talks say Color Purple will most likely nab a number of performance nominations, so he can also get one there if the film has a lot of hype going into award season

straight from the beginning I'm annoyed by the cop dude 🙄 jfc kill him next lol

what Mabel said to him (the lawyer thing) was certainly not funny, and yet the lady cop laughed - they're still trying so hard to convince the audience they can do comedy huh 😂

also, oh my, Selena learned how to open her mouth wider, I'm shocked 😂

I gotta say, as much as I'm interested in the story, all of the characters are so fucking annoying oh my god 😂 (maybe except for Charles but that might be just because he's Steve Martin haha - and I liked Theo too, but the rest of them suck lol)

the "it's a callback" literally made me facepalm - i guess it was supposed to be cringy, but oh my god

Selena's actually better with facial expressions this season so far (did she see all the comments on the internet and took some acting classes before s2 lmao - and I know the comments and reviews criticizing her are there, I went looking to see if I'm the only one not enjoying her performance hahaha), though she still has only one tone of voice - also, in that scene with the cops she was opening her mouth wider, but now she's back to talking as if she was clenching her teeth all the time - it almost hurts my jaw just hearing her talk like that 😂😂 it that just how Selena talks irl? wow that's annoying 😂

why is Cara what's-her-name in this jfc 🙄 i only saw her in paper towns but I do not like her lol

I watched like 10 episodes and it was boring and unfunny but like, does it get better or something? bc I kinda wanna see more of Tina Fey 😂😂

okay, so, I'm really interested in the story, I'm so curious about who killed Bunny and why they're trying to frame the main characters, or mainly Charles lol I'll definitely have to keep watching

it's still painfully unfunny (who the fuck writes this show, how can you claim that your show is a comedy - along with other things obvi - and have no funny jokes whatsoever - there are jokes, just not funny ones lol)

Selena is better than in s1 tbh I still don't particularly enjoy her, but at least her face isn't stuck in two facial expressions interchangeably 💁🏻‍♀️ (her tone of voice is still distractingly monotone tho)

I don't know what the purpose of having Amy Schumer in this is, because... well. I kinda liked her specials when I watched them when I was like 15 but... she's not the funniest comedian and we all know that sns - also, if your script sucks in terms of comedy, even bringing the funniest person wouldn't do much sns 😂

I liked it but I gotta say, this show doesn't have the greatest opening episodes. s1e1 was meh, s2e1 was better but only because I already knew the characters

‼️‼️‼️MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS SPOILERS UNDER THIS‼️‼️‼️

Okay so I was so hyped up for this movie and I went in with high expectations and honestly I was so dissatisfied 😔😔😔

First of all Wanda my main girl literally was trying to murder a 14 year old child so she could use her powers to see her children and literally STEAL them from a Wanda that already has them like 😀😀 also I have seen people defending her and being like “it was the dark hold making her do that 🥺” k but still sis literally murdered all the sorcerers at kamar taj, killed all the Illuminati members, traumatized her OWN kids,used her variant (aka an innocent women) to do her dirty work and almost succeeded in killing America 💀💀

Next thing I hated was that like the fight scenes were SO BORING like the magic fight scene in The first doctor strange were literally perfect + the fight scene from IW with strange and thanos fighting on Titan was just mwah but in MoM it was literally just them throwing energy blasts and stuff like I wanted to see them go into the mirror dimension and like fight in there or like teleporting to another planet and doing some damage there but it was just…so bad 😀

Now for the cameos I was literally so excited to see the Illuminati and was so hyped only for them to kill them off after 5 minutes 🤨🤨🤨 like first of all they introduced REED RICHARDS and PROFESSOR X but killed them off like nothing like ??? Also the killing of professor x literally made me so mad because Professor X is literally one of the most powerful telepath in all of marvel and you’re telling me he lost to Wanda??? Yeah Wanda’s a very powerful person but her telepathy is not on par with Charles like this man literally almost killed the entire human and mutant race with just his mind and having cerebro as a boost but even without cerebro he’s a very powerful telepath like the man literally held Sebastian Shaw in place while magneto killed him 🙄🙄 ALSO HOW TF DID MARIA DIE?? CAPTAIN MARVEL CAN LITERALLY ABSORB ENERGY AND TAKE HITS FROM THANOS WARSHIP AND MJOLNIR BUT UR TELLING ME WANDA KILLED HER BY DROPPING A STATUE ON HER?? I DONT BELIEVE IT 🥹🥹Can we also talk about how vision was only mentioned like twice??? Like where tf did white vision go mans really said “I am vision” and dipped like 🤨🤨🤨🤨

THE CGI AND MUSIC WAS SO GOOD BUT LIKE THE WRITING 🤢🤢 I MEAN IT WAS WRITTED BY MICHAEL WALDRON AKA THE GUY WHO WROTE THE LOKI SERIES SO 😐😐😐

LAST THING WAS THAT THEY DID PROMO FOR CHARACTERS LIKE SARA AND RINTHRAH LIKE THESE 2 CHARACTERS GOT THEIR OWN FUNKO POPS FOR WHAT??? 5 MINUTES OF SCREEN TIME IN TOTAL LIKE WHAT 😁😁😁

Honestly America Chavez carried this movie and I didn’t really like Wanda or strange in this (love strange as a character but the way he acted was so ??? Like nothing compared to the past movies) and I will be rooting for NWH strange and Wandavision Wanda 🫂🫂

This is just a personal thing but I honestly thought the darkhold castle would but bigger not a three walled hole in a mountain with stuff on the walls like I expected a huge gothic castle with statues and paintings of the scarlet witch with worshippers and offerings and all that fun stuff 😔😔

Anyways wish Jean was here to beat Wanda and then make some kids for her so she can be happy and not get tortured emotionally in every movie 💕💕 help a fellow red head out Jean ☺️☺️☺️
