Ok so my last post made me think a lot so it’s time for

AtsuKage headcannons!!

The first time atsumu meets Kageyama’s sister she clowns on his hair so much that he finally tones it

Kageyama give atsumu lots of head pats

Kageyama is super touch starved so atsumu makes it a point to always be touching him even if it’s just in small ways

Kageyama is a bit of a caffeine addict from hanging out with yamaguchi so much so he constantly goes to Starbucks but atsumu doesn’t really like coffee so kageyama will always surprise him with matcha lattes and lemonade refreshers.

Kageyama loves playing dumb at the stupidest things and it frustrates Atsumu so much. Atsumu will ask him a question and kageyama will just pretend not to know what he’s talking about to see how mad atsumu will get.

Kageyama so genuinely looks up to atsumu in both volleyball and life and it helps atsumus insecurities so much, kageyama doesn’t even try and atsumu will feel so loved and like he’s enough

They clown on Hinata all the time, hinata is never safe when they’re around

Osamu and Kageyama always have to strangest conversations cause neither of them really know how to interact with eachother so they end up having like 3 hour long conversations about rice

Kageyama can’t cook at all so atsumu teaches him and kageyama is always so impressed with anything atsumu makes

Atsumu likes sitting in Kageyama’s lap and kageyama likes to lay his head on atsumus lap

They watch super intense documentaries together and have a bunch of knowledge on the weirdest things

Atsumu decides to celebrate Father’s day by dumping all the kids in Tobio’s lap and going out for a pickup volleyball game at their local park.

Daybreak

“When the 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 sky turned 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰, let's meet again. Meet me beyond the horizon.”

With tears running down in his cheeks like a river stream, not wanting to stop, he kneeled down hoping he'd come back. With his shivering hands crumpling the piece of torn paper, before throwing it away like he never treasured it, he wiped away his tears and bitterly laughed.

“Daybreak. Hah…” He looked at the sky, squinting his eyes, too afraid that he'll cry again.

The sky is indeed blue. Cold, but feels empty as it envelopes his dying heart.

“...I hate it. I hate this shit. There was nothing good to look at here, Atsumu…”

Tobio waited. He waited and cried until there was nothing but hopelessness. He waited because he believed in his words, he believed in him.

Everyday… he waited until there were no blue and yellow hues around him anymore, he sat there succumbing to fear and was being surrounded by pitch black. 

It is scary, Atsumu. It is so fucking scary without you here. Why do you have to leave and not come back anymore? 

There was nothing beyond the horizon. No matter where I look at it, no matter how hard I tried to go there, there was nothing but endless seas. So what the hell is meeting you there? I want to see you.

He dismissed everything and tried to focus his eyes on the sky in front of him, Atsumu's right. He's always right. He smiled. 

The sky is breathtaking to look at when it's turning golden yellow. It does resemble him. Bright and warm, but sad, disappearing. 

Daybreak. What a beautiful scenery, if only, if only it doesn't parallel heartbreaking memories. 

“It really took a great toll on him, huh?” someone muttered. 

“What happened to him?”

“I heard they were involved in a car accident, with his lover. It was around this time, it happened during daybreak. Unfortunately, his lover didn't survive.”
