Hiya :) I just wanted to say hi and tell you that I appreciate you sharing your art <3 I've admired your work from the first time I saw it a couple of years ago. I recently just got back into drawing and sketching, new to digital art though lol, but I was working on an OC of mine for a ttrpg and thought back to when I was younger and had people tell me I needed to make my ladies softer and more feminine even though that's now how I saw them. That I should make them smaller... And I just thought of your work and how much I adore your style and your OCs. How they're strong and what I always envision my ladies & enbies to be~ So thank you <3 you're part of my inspiration that's got me drawing again and comfortable with how I draw my OCs.

it's so easy to get discouraged on social media. from comparing ourselves to others' successes to equating our worth based on likes and follower counts. creating no longer becomes fun. it's exhausting making sure every post is perfect for others. the numbers determine if you're considered good enough.

sometimes it makes me want to quit drawing and writing all together.

but when we lose sight of things we gotta take a step back and remember. you do this because it brings you joy. you're passionate about it. you're proud of your abilities. your worth as a creator and person is not based on simple digits.

don't focus on what other people are doing. don't stop creating just because of social media's performance aspect. just keep doing what you're doing. what you bring to the table is perfect and enough.

you are enough. i love you.

My #1 liked, shared, interacted with fic took MONTHS for it to get noticed,

And sometimes likes and shares trickle in over time.

Don't you dare give up, or let that discourage you.

There are THOUSANDS of fics out there, being posted at similar times as yours even!

I just love when people slip small fan references into post that have absolutely nothing to do with the fandom, and most of the time they would go unnoticed unless you are on the up and up in the Fandom.

A recent example I saw was from @biblioaesthetica commenting on a post and they slipped a princess bride quote in. I fricken love that!
