Here at Greenhouse, we’re not ones for convention. (Mum is not happy about the amount of playing with food that goes on here—from experimental flavour combinations to unexpected ingredient substitutions.) It should come as no surprise then that watching Lee Tilghman of @leefromamerica whirl up her smoothie and pour it into an unorthodox vessel got us excited.

Creating this morning delight couldn’t be easier—prepare your favourite oatmeal as you normally would, then scoop it into your near-empty jar of nut butter, layering with sliced fruit, hemp hearts, and any other accoutrements you enjoy with your morning porridge. 

The warm oats melt those pesky last few streaks of nut butter, which no amount of muscle or perseverance can scrape out, adding a nutty depth of flavour to your breakfast bowl jar.
