— LAIOS:

✦ We know that he doesn’t do well in hot weather, so you can imagine he’d be sporting only swimsuit trunks and flip flops for sure.

✦ Definitely enjoys being in the ocean, especially to try and cool off. You can imagine he’d be really interested in knowing more about what’s in the water around him, and probably points things out to you that he finds interesting.

✦ Be prepared for him to burn really fast, so make sure he gets plenty of sunscreen!! It’s always cute to see him walk up to you and ask for help, in which you gladly oblige. You help get those spots he can’t reach, and he does appreciate just how thorough you are.

✦ You’ll probably end up splashing him, which he’ll return in kind. Be careful what you start, because you’ll end up drenched by the end of it!

✦ A picnic on the beach with him is definitely something that happens while you’re there. Laios is so excited to share a meal with you in such a beautiful setting, and finds himself giving you that goofy grin at just how happy he is. He makes sure to pull all the stops to make this enjoyable for you, even preparing your favorite snacks.

✦ Definitely goes home with a few shells or shark teeth, if he found any. Laios thinks they’re too cool not to pick up and examine, running over to you and showing you what he found in the sand.

“You won’t believe what I found!” Laios calls out to you, jogging over to where you sat on your towel. His hands cradled something, and as he stretched his arms out to show you, a smile grew on your lips.

In his hands was an almost perfect conch shell, something he held with pride and excitement. His smile matching yours, he said your name softly. “Do you think if you put it up to your ear, you’d hear the ocean like those stories?”

You shrugged your shoulders, not able to hold back the giggle at his glee. “Only one way to find out, right? Just make sure there’s nothing still living in it.”

Laios still keeps that shell in a safe place, wanting to remember the day you spent together.

— CHILCHUCK:

✦ This man is definitely showing up in a Hawaiian dad shirt and cargo shorts. The first few buttons are undone, and he has a pair of sandals on that he insists he only saves for days like this.

✦ Chilchuck plans on staying at the spot you claimed with towels and an umbrella, a drink in hand. He’s definitely enjoying the sight of you in a swimsuit and the breeze ruffling your hair, but he’d never admit that.

✦ You try to pull him towards the water, but you only manage to get his feet wet. Chil tells you this is as far as he’ll go, but that disappointed pout on your face makes his heart race a bit. Ok, fine… Maybe he’ll go up to his knees for you…

✦ Probably spends most of his time drinking and relaxing, a hand behind his head and alcohol in the other. Very dad-like of him, you muse, which causes his face to heat up and grumbles to leave him.

✦ Ends up falling asleep, the sound of the waves and the secluded shade from the sun causing his eyes to flutter shut. You can’t help but laugh a little, returning from your time in the water to study his sleeping form. He looks so peaceful like this, and you don’t have the heart to wake him up…

✦ If you do somehow manage to get him fully in the water, be prepared for him to get targeted by the tide. Maybe you even suggest getting him a float, which he gives you that blank stare in reply.

“There, that’s not so bad, is it?” You say as he finds himself in the middle of a tube float, eyes narrowed towards you.

“This makes me feel like a kid.” Chilchuck complains, yet you see him grip onto it tighter as an incoming wave makes an appearance.

You pull it over to you, the inflatable bumping into your stomach as you give him that teasing grin. “Guess you’re stuck with me while we’re out here, huh?”

The half-foot groans, debating on whether or not he’d make it if he tried to swim back to shore right now.

— FALIN:

✦ Wears a light t-shirt and shorts, opting to be comfy! She also has a hat she wears to help keep the sun out of her eyes. If she did plan on swimming, I like to imagine she’d have a swim shirt and a one piece swimsuit!

✦ Like her brother, she was excited to see all the shells and creatures at the beach, bringing you things she found fascinating. You might even find her entranced with a sand dollar and stating how pretty it is.

✦ Walks into the water hand in hand with you, but also really enjoys walking along the sand near the shore. As the sun sets, she intertwines her fingers with yours, leading you along and watching the pinks and blues in the sky reflect on the waves.

✦ Also definitely goes on a picnic with you, the beach making her cheeks even more rosy than usual. You can’t help but tell her how cute she looks in her outfit, her hair loosely blowing in the breeze. Falin would give you a sweet smile, the same one you fell in love with.

✦ Don’t be surprised if she leads you back to the water after you make sure she’s not getting burnt, insisting that she wants to enjoy how cool the waves feel. You’re more than happy to walk out a little deeper with her, noticing how she still keeps your hand in her own.

“It’s so nice out here…” You heard her mutter, a content smile dimpling her cheeks. The sunset left a sweet gradient in her hair, something that made you unable to look away.

“It really is. Too bad it’s getting dark,” you reply, a little disappointed that the day is already over. Falin squeezed your hand, pulling you away from your thoughts.

“Maybe we should stay and watch the stars come out.” Her voice was so gentle, causing you to give her a grin of your own.

“Let’s stay a little longer.”

— MICKBELL:

✦ Like the official art we have of him swimming with Kuro, he’s definitely sporting a pair of swim trunks and flip flops, with his hair in his signature ponytail.

✦ He and Kuro are so excited to swim, and drag you along to the water as soon as you get there. Of course, Mick is either clinging to you or to Kuro when in the waves, not seeking to really swim on his own.

✦ You definitely enjoy watching them swim and play around more than you’d like to admit, especially with Mick hiding his face and complaining when Kuro decides to shake all the water out of his coat.

✦ Mick really likes finding shells he thinks look neat, and showing them off to you and Kuro proudly. Maybe you even find yourself building a sand castle, with him and his buddy watching closely and moving to help you. He’s in charge of decorating it, while you’re in charge of building it! Kuro helps dig up some of the sand to use.

✦ The three of you end up getting a sweet treat, cooling off in the shade and enjoying the time spent together. Knowing Mickbell, he’s going to lay his head in your lap as he rests after so much activity, looking up at you with that cheeky grin he usually has.

“I could get used to this!” Mickbell sighs, nuzzling into your lap as he makes himself comfortable. Kuro is watching the waves, sitting beside you as the sun begins to fade from the horizon.

“I would’ve thought you’d be ready to go home a lot sooner.” You teased him, brushing his messy bangs out of his face. Scoffing, he made sure you saw as he rolled his eyes.

“If I didn’t have you and Kuro, maybe… But this is something we’ll have to do again. Right, Kuro?” The Kobold nodded, causing a warm grin to spread on your face. He was certainly right about that.

This is not a post *About* Kipperlilly, this is about the discussion.

As mentioned before, I'm done talking about her, even with more episodes coming, because of how the discussion around her is evolving. Now, I'm just scrolling Tumblr tonight because I can't sleep and...

Then I see a post about a cute animal, followed by

I need to ask is this just like, normal for Tumblr (I'm new here) or is Kipperlilly Copperkettle just *that* polarizing she has people on both sides so passionate? Why are there *sides* on this character she's almost all references and jokes there's so little character there

She's a trope, two DnD Jokes, and a tone all wrapped up into one, inspired by an old PC Brennan played like once I think, and she has people so fucking *heated* I'm tempted to just block her name on Tumblr.

And this isn't a call-out post to either of these people, no hate intended, this is the larger trend and the fact I so easily saw them back to back. Like yeah @r0sebutch 's post is one I don't personally agree with as much, I find it hard to project this girl who was in counciling but never listened as someone who knew her anger wasn't good for her, but sure it *might* have happened. But as much as I agree with @chungled , projecting that everyone who likes Kipperlilly is doing so because it's fun to root for a vile person, like come on, Kipperlilly stans mostly think she isn't nasty and are sympathetic to her, there's no need to take *your opinion* of a character, and make it an attack on people who disagree.

What is it about Kipperlilly we're finding so personal, so polarizing, and so significant that we're turning to attack? From random and opinions to argument? Not here for drama, this is probably stupid because drama will likely happen, I'm just hoping to say clearly this doesn't need to be an *argument* or *fight*, and curious if anyone cares to share if this is normal or why this might be the case

An Adam x Reader Ramble

A.N. - Hello hello, my dears. I got bored in my chemistry class so here’s some brain rot because I love looking into how a character’s animal nature can affect their daily life and I might go into a full psychological rant about a few later but anywizzle-

Cw - Pushy coworker (doesn’t go into detail) / pissy Adam

Just Adam Being Part Bird (Not Really)

Wing Flapping (Whenever he finds something stupid hilarious that he wants to share, his wings usually flap behind him.)

“Hey, hot stuff!”

You sighed, looking up from your phone to look at whatever he wanted to show you now. It was usually a random rock or something shiny.

“Look, look, look,” he walked up next to you, his wings shifting behind him, “it’s a dick, right?”

You gave him a look.

He rolled his eyes, “Yeah, whatever, but it is, isn’t it?” He shoved the rock in your face as you looked it over. It looked more like a heart, but knowing him, he wouldn’t agree.

“Yeah, I guess so.”

His wings flapped behind him as he grinned wider, “Right? Fucking called it. Lute said it looked like Missouri. I knew you’d agree, babe.”

You smiled at his childish antics, “Yup.”

Preening (Despite what you might think, he takes good care of himself. He’s the face of his band after all.)

“Adam, I got the-“ you paused at the sight. Adam was bent in a strange way, his wings fully unfurled, as he tried to reach a spot by the base of his wings, “Fucking ass why are you so damn-“

He paused, then fell, cursing.

“Fucking hell, gimme a damn warning, bitch,” he huffed. He sat down on the couch, arms crossed with his wings half groomed.

You laughed, “Yeah, yeah,” you stood behind him, “sit up.”

“I don’t need your fucking help.”

“Up, Adam.”

With some more grumbling, he obliged.

Beak Clicking (Adam has this weird habit he does every time someone tries to flirt with you.)

“C’mon, just one? I promise to pay and everything,” they pleaded. Your coworker had been asking for a date this past week. You repeatedly told them no, but they didn’t seem to get the hint.

You, of course, told Adam. Something you were regretting now that you saw him standing menacingly behind them.

He kissed his teeth, “So, you’re the one who’s been annoying ‘em, huh?”

They turned around, not expecting Adam to be there, “Oh, uh, hey, A-”

“Don’t ‘hey, Adam’ me, bitch,” he looked them over, “What the Hell do you think you’re doing? They said no, so leave.”

“I, uh, yeah, okay.”

Fluffing (He gets cold easily. And he makes it very well known)

“I don’t wanna,” he whined.

“Look,” you put on a jacket, “it’s not even 60 degrees. You’ll be fine.

“Nuh uh,” his wings formed a very fluffy cocoon around him, “I’ll freeze!”

You pinched your nose, “Adam, I need to leave.”

“But I don’t want you leaving me.”

“Then come on!”

“It’s cold,” he pouted.

You have to admit, seeing his cute stupid little face surrounded by his wings made you want to just stay and cuddle.

He knew that, of course, “C’mon. I’m cold, you’re warm, just cuddle me, bitch.”

You raised a brow, making him pause.

“Uh, please?” He gave you that damned look.

You sighed, already taking off your jacket, “I hate you.”

He had a smug grin, “Love you, too, hot stuff.”

I’ve been thinking of making a custom marcille doll, especially since if Delicious in Dungeon DOES get any official dolls it might be a… dollfie, Azone 1/3, or Azone 1/6. I’d probably get an Azone 1/3 Marcille, to be honest, but a 1/6 Azone might be a difficult buy since even re:zero Emilia just had normal human ears. Poor half-elves being relegated to just the human half, lol. If Dollfie Frieren and Sailor Moon are any indication, I might not be super keen on a Dollfie Marcille — even if I was, though, she would probably be like $800+ usd and I am not sure if I would want to drop that much just to have a little Marcille.

Which leaves me wondering… if I do make a Marcille, what would be the best base for her?

So far I’ve mulled over the following: obitsu fairy (inset eyes only, unfortunately), big headed Barbie fairytopia elf fairies, momoko, or a “generic Bandai 90s doll”

Photo is pulled off of eBay but occasionally I see these fairytopia elf-eared fairies for reasonably cheap secondhand. They have elf ears already and I think they could probably be repainted with a “anime influenced” face up pretty well, and the blonde one would be a good candidate for a reroot or wig for Marcille. Purple is a little too fantasy pink and I’ve noticed a lot tend to age weird, sometimes like old G1 Draculauras.

Which… ok, on that note, Draclaura wouldn’t be terrible either? She would probably need a body donor and painted to a light flesh color, but Lala’s G3 dolls are really cute with prominent pointy ears.

Obitsu fairy is my next candidate and probably my most promising, but I wish I could find some without the inset eyes. They’re long discontinued, though I can stalk Mandarake.

A blonde momoko might have potential if I keep her in the normal momoko style, and don’t try to replicate the anime’s style. If I got a My First Momoko, who has a different face shape, I could maybe see about her getting a repaint.

Photo is from plasticyears on dolldreaming and my goodness are the marmit elves cute 😭 this would probably be my ideal base for Marcille, but I can’t seen a Marmit Rurufi or Rarafi go up for sale on Mandrake, so I won’t hold my breath getting one for Marcille.

Most 1/6 azones have really sweet, round babyish faces which I don’t think would be my preferred for Marcille, but some of the character dolls like Emilia have more pointy heads, which might be worth it depending on how hard this head sculpt is to find secondhand. (In general - not Emilia specifically). I already have an inset-eye’d Emilia and while I do like her, I wish Azone made the original sculpt with inset eyes too, since like 90% of their new inset-eye dolls use the same base sculpt which I think it’s a tad too round and I don’t like my dolls to all have the same sculpt… but if I do get Marcille a head without elf ears, I can probably easily enough print some off on my 3d printer and then attach them.

my attempt at making a fursona

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

not prompted by literally anything but i think that considering shadows fur coloring is likely a result of his black arms dna then its very rare if not impossible for normal hedgehogs to look like that . like if you ran into another black hedgehog with red stripes they probably just dyed it to look that way

#i like imagining that little animal guys in the sonic universe dye their fur/hair/quills/whatever sometimes i think its cute #its kinda hard to come up with an exact standard for whats probably natural and whats probably dyed though #considering. sonic characters already come in a rainbow of different fur colors #maybe if somebody has markings that are just a different shade of the same color the rest of their body is #or are the same color as their muzzle or are just a ''common'' color like black or white or whatever #and/or the markings look very similar to markings that a non mobian version of that animal could have #then theyre most likely natural?#and if they have markings that are a completely different color from the rest of their body and dont look like natural markings #that species could have then theyre likely dyed #i say likely because there could still be some exceptions to this i feel

#just re-watched pocahontas for the first time in many many years and dawg #the character animation in that film is so gorgeous #like they went so hard on ACTING through the animation #im getting obsessed again like i was when i was little #like u gotta understand: the disney pocahontas character (a truly fictional character inspired by real events let's get that straight)#i was like in love with her. i wanted to be her like oh my god #and the way they animated john smith was such a departure from their other disney LI's up til then (as *i* recall)#so detailed!! the expressions!!! the fucking YEARNING!!!!!!#best love story out of all the disney flicks imho. as a Story it's so powerful #I'm gonna think about the symbolism of them having to part #after grandmother willow had told them 'only when the fighting stops can you be together'#implying that the fighting isn't over and probably never will be #fuxking painfuslfjk #i know i know: c'est ~~problématique~~#but look. I'm from a racially diverse family okay?#my dad's side especially. nobody over there stuck to their own race/ethnic group #my parents are a mixed couple. i know how hard it is to make that work.#most interracial couples I'd seen on tv until that point were very...chaste?#mostly played for laughs (oh haha the cultural dissonance is so cute and funny!) or worse: to play up racial sterotypes #but to see one depicted as a straight-forward romance- as two people deeply in love and not played for a gag? AND as the core of the story?#mannnn that means a lot to me even all these years later #so yeah im deep in the 'hunting down feel-good fix-it fics' phase wish me luck

getting a sudden resurgence of art motivation is such a blessing and a curse tbh. bc on one hand im drawing a lot and having a lotta fun doing so but on the other hand i wanted to make Even More secret stuff for atbb that requires drawing so i told myself i would make a few very sketchy things that would have to be quick and don't have to be Insane Awesome Quality since they'll be blurry as hell in the final product anyway and i have like less than a week / a couple days at most to get it all ready in time

so anyways now it's 3am and i just finished the first of what i still want to do after 3 days

#trousled dumb #WHAT THE HELL IS IT WITH ME AND OVERDOING SHIT THAT'S JUST GONNA BE BLURRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!#there are THERE characters in this fucking thing btw. and a background. whats wrong with me who have i become #i was sooo close to just leaving it with minimal shading & detail and finishing it like So Many Hours Ago I Don't Even Know #but i had that thought. you know the one. the one that says Wait I Can Push This More. and well i fucking pushed it #i think im gonna have to do an art dump when this event is done. because where this is gonna be seen beforehand it's gonna be 400px wide.#its original width is 1694px for the record. can you imagine the compression #motion blur + scanlines filter + several gaussian blurs + ungodly compression.......................why did i . do this #sigh. at least i am extremely proud of it and at least i lost track of time solely because of how much fun i was having #but also fellas i do not think i will be drawing everything i want to be prepared by the time of the reveal lmaooo #head in hands. i have drawn a really really good pair of boots. and also a lesbian. and also fully rendered drinks with ice cubes in them #ice cubes that you cannot see. because they are already so small that they had to be drawn with a 2px brush. and now they are blurred #and also obscured by the glass details in general. but by god do they change color under the liquid and everything #goodnight . i would put a cute little emoji here but there isnt anything that represents a smile akin to baring my teeth like a wild animal

anime resale stores here always have absolute mountains of love live figures from every iteration of the franchise with every character and costume you could imagine...except i've never been a figure girlie so i always just look over the shelf in awe because i can't really see myself buying anything. except, that is, for the early love live sunshine aqours figures with no legs. that, i would buy

#were these the first aqours figures ever?? they can't be right?#either way i remember just how early into lls this was #it's really burned into my memory i have no idea what they were made for though #i just always remember them. and their lack of legs #those shops always have the nice boxed up figures and then the ones that were brought to them without a box #left to sit forever in plastic bags on hooks on the store walls (until someone buys them)#some of those come in multiple pieces? like maybe stands or removable parts...?#but i always think it's gonna be one of these and i'm always so disappointed #cmon rashinban sell me one of the ugliest and most baffling love live figures of all time #personal #honestly it's not just figures i'm just really not much of a merch girlie #living in japan is slowly curing me of that though just because of how normalized it is for everyone to have character merch #i bought a really cute kanan keychain a while ago but then it fell off of my bag when i was out :( i still have no idea where i lost it #the normalization of it really helps though honestly #if you'd told me 2 years ago that i'd be buying little nitotan plushes of my fav characters to hold up to scenery while traveling and #take pictures of i definitely wouldn't have believed it #but that's just like a thing that anime girlies do here. i think it's really cute actually #i still haven't gotten around to actually bringing any of those plushes on trips because i forgot 3 times in a row #and then the next trip i took after that was with my family #nooooot a chance. oh my god there's no way i could've explained that and had them been like oh okay
