Nobody could see that Bucky and Deena will start dating really soon. It was big for her since the first time they saw each other. It was like an instant crush, boom and the next few weeks were only Bucky-filled. You were split about all of that - you were happy for your best friend.
She found someone to click with, someone to just be with, somebody great.
But why Steve was not taking his chances when his best friend was ready in one day. One fucking day. You liked that guy, but your patience was starting to get seriously thin.
After the first date, Deena immediately did a FaceTime group. It was consisting of four people - her, May, Suzie and you. Everyone except Deena was in their comfortable home clothes, everyone was looking terrible in the camera, but for Deena's face with a big smile on it. She was giggling loudly. And she didn't even seem to be even drunk.
Jealousy stroke you at that moment. She was on a date with James and she looked as happy as never before. This was an unseen, a completely new thing in Deena's behavior. She was indeed beautiful like that.
"Okay, you happy face. Start talking!" - You cried out with a sultry smile. You and Steve. Could you be like that if he ever asked you out? At that point, it seemed pointless. Steve was basically the slowest relationship maker in history. But even tho your faith slowly started to fade away, you tried to be optimistic about all of that.
"I'm not going to lie to you, this was one of the... Best fucking dates in my whole life." - She yelled all over the street and she didn't give a crap about people turning after her.
"Really? Come on, details!" - May said and turned her face in the direction of the TV, watching the series she used to every Thursday. It was some endless series, some telenovela or what. But she loved when she could only talk about the things that happened in the last episode and you just listened to her.
"First things first, he's incredibly handsome. He's like the vocabulary definition of a hunk, you should see those rippin' back, shoulders... This is the first guy with long hair that I fuckin' adore!" - Deena exclaimed. That was true, she hated guys who had hair under their earlobes. She found that disgusting. And James must've been really sexy if even Deena found him sexy. - "He's sweet, he's funny, he has manners... Girls. He is behaving so calmly, he is so fucking well raised. I want to meet the woman who raised him up, because she's my hero..." - She kept on talking and talking and your mind slowly kept on fading away as you thought about Steve. You would love to be the one calling, the one who would be screaming somewhere on the street. But you weren't.
Slowly, James became a day-to-day part of your office life. He and Deena were saying they're just friends, but everyone thought something different. Deena had the most lustful look ever, every time James came to the office with a couple of bags full of food for every one of you, everyone in the distance of few meters knew she's thinking about fucking the soul out of him. James made her laugh, they slowly grew closer and closer, having their inside jokes and sometimes you caught them staring in the eyes of each other.
Everyone was smiling when James brought her flowers for the first time. It was a big puget of white roses and they were indeed beautiful. Each of you just sat there and looked at her table with a dreamy look. And if that wasn't enough, James got along with everyone as well. He was a nice, funny and he indeed was handsome. Most of them, he got along with Val.
Without you even knowing, he was looking after you. The slightest things he was asking you about were just ok checks. And why he was doing it? Steve. Of course, it was for his idiot friend Steve.
Bucky was doing a serious super-secret inside job at their place - he was telling Steve everything about you, making him think about you all night long as if your long calls and photos didn't do that job as well.
It was teamwork. Bucky was reminding Steve almost every day of the week and Sam was encouraging him to make the move finally. They even stop to argue for a short amount of time just to work on Steve's mind. They were trying their best shots with Steve at that very moment.
---
"All I'm saying is she had a beautiful dress on today. You really should've seen them." - Bucky said from eating his bowl of yogurt and cereal. He just came back from Deena's apartment, smelling like hot and steamy sex and sin, his eyes shining like the stars.
"Old man, I think you're shooting the air here. He's not gonna do anythin' about that. He's too shy. He's too nice. Not like you bending that skirt over the first month." - Sam just added, chewing on a mango.
"Sorry, I forgot it's Steve we're talking about here." - Bucky said in answer. It was back and forth for the last few long, long weeks in Steve's perspective. James and Sam could cooperate on a seriously good level when they tried to. That was just the way it was.
"You're not helping. Natasha is very angry with me when I start to spar with her and I'm out of my head because I just see her face in my mind, I don't even take notice on the meetings and Tony is ready to kill me on the spot, I don't seem to do my paperwork well and I don't feel easy in the last... Three weeks. I'm in constant stress an in a carousel of reminders. You got under my skin and I don't find it funny anymore." - Steve just straightaway yelled at the two of them from a moment to moment. Sam and Bucky were scared the hell out. Steve was the calm guy, who tried to find a solution in absolutely every situation.
But now he was on edge. He just snapped. Both of them sat in silence while Steve got into his room and almost broke the door when he shut them with all the force he got in his body.
"I think we stepped too far, Buck. I've never seen Steve acting like that." - Sam said when the quiet between them became unbearable.
"No. Trust me. Things are going just the way they should. This is the thing we've been waiting for the whole time. Give him a few more hours and voilà. The magic's done." - Buck smiled wickedly and continued with eating his cereal. Sam could barely stand still, he was nervous because of what state they were able to get Steve into.
The apartment was deadly silent for the next whole day. Every time Steve got out of his room and met Sam or James in the flat, he just stared them down, took his things, food or whatever and disappeared back in his room again.
Those few days were seriously crucial. Steve was acting like a small child - even Natasha wasn't able to get him out of his room when Steve didn't come to their sparring session. Although you were texting him numerous times, Steve hasn't answered a single one, which made you worried as well.
---
"Hi, James." - You approached Deena's table nervously. You were spinning with your fingers and Bucky could tell that you're not feeling too good. In the last few days, something was circling through your head. You sighed all the times, you weren't laughing at his dumb questions and jokes, you were just acting weirdly.
"Hey, sunshine. Come and sit with us. You want some plums?" - He gave you one of them and smiled at you happily.
"I have a question." - Your voice sounded sour and quiet. You were just out of your mind. - "Would you mind answering it?"
"I'm an open book. Just ask me." - James smiled at you with his baby blue eyes. Deena knew what topic you are going to pick, so she took all of her papers, stood up, kissed Bucky's cheek and left the table.
"Have I done something... Wrong? You know, have I told Steve anything bad, he didn't like my appearance or my nature? Because... I don't have a single idea about what wrong have I done. I just simply don't." - You said sadly and he could see the tears in your eyes. Steve hadn't text you for five days, which was an unbelievable thing for somebody like him.
"Aaah, baby girl." - Bucky hugged your shoulder to make you smile a bit. - "You're fine. You're more than fine. He's just conflicted at the moment, sometimes it's harder with him. All you need to do now is to have some patience, don't be stressed and have some plums."
"You like those plums a lot, right?" - You tried to joke with a sad done.
"Sweetheart, you have no idea. Plums are a cure for everything." - Bucky answered and started to chew another one. Somehow he always has an endless supply of plums everywhere he went to. And he always got one for everyone.
"Don't you start about those fucking plums. I'm on a plum diet since I'm dating this guy. I've eaten tons of them." - Deena appeared behind James after getting some new paperwork from May. - "I left you the papers I've finished on the table. They should be ok, but you should rework them to how you like the work done."
"Yeah. I'm going to go through them now. Thank you." - You smiled a bit, took two plums from James and hugged him quickly in a friendly matter. He was a sweet, sweet guy.
---
"Steve, we need to talk." - Bucky knocked on his door with a frown on his face. - "I'm done with your acting as a child phase."
"And I'm done with your brainwashing program. Some things are not as we expect them to be." - Steve hummed through the door. Steve felt like if he was in a tight corner made by Buck and Sam themselves. He wanted her so much, yet those paranoid things were louder and louder in his own head. What if you back out when you'll see who he actually is? Will you freak out? Would you just say no to him? Would you even want to go out?
There were so many questions in the air for him. And he heard them almost every time he saw any part of his own body in the mirror. And that was Bucky's artwork.
"I'll go straight to the things I want to say. That girl is all over you, that girl is now sad in her office because your dumb ass is not showing any sign of interest. Go and call that girl. Take her out." - Bucky told in a firm voice. He was done with Steve at that point. And Steve was done with Bucky's doctrine.
Everyone seemed to be done with everything at that point.
"Can't you see that she doesn't care who the hell you are? You could be even birdbrain and she wouldn't care. You should take your chances as they are and just try it." - Bucky warned him and then left the door, taking his jacket and called Deena that he'll have a sleepover at her place. That left Steve all alone at the flat.
But he knew that Bucky is totally right. He should act on his chances. You were worth all of that.
So he just called your number without any further thinking. You answered after a minute of dialing.
"Hi." - You said a bit coldly. That was his treason for the absence he had. It was numerous days since he heard you, you sounded like a lullaby, so sweetly and lovely.
"Hey. I'm... I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." - Steve said without further dialogue.
"I'm not going to lie. Twenty texts. You made me worried." - That's when it hit his ears. Bucky was totally right, he made you sad. It was all Steve's fault. Your voice was sweet as usual, but it had some bitterness in it. You were angry with him. That was for sure.
"This is not easy for me, okay? I'm really nervous right now." - Steve stuttered and your blood went immediately ice cold. Steve was going to tell you that you're not a thing anymore. That he's done with it.
"You don't have to worry. I think I get what you mean." - You said and your voice broke down. He heard the mourning in it.
"So you don't want to go out with me?" - Steve said in a tight voice, he said it quickly and practically choked it all out.
"Are you serious? Like deadly serious?" - That didn't convince you at all. You were ironical as hell.
"I am completely serious. Let's just go on a date." - He repeated in a completely straight tone. And he knew that this thing will change his life from the basics he thought he knew.

RWBY 7 Trailer Thoughts
So, I said I would share my thoughts on the trailer, so here they are! I’m going to start at the beginning and write down what comes to mind for each little section, but since I have seen the entire trailer a couple times now, I may jump forward to connect whatever I’m addressing to something later in the trailer. This might make things seem a bit erratic, so I apologize in advance if this comes out like a lot of rambling nonsense. That said, let’s begin!
1. We open with Ironwood narrating that these are “uncertain times” over a montage of the Kaiju Grimm attack Argus, then cuts to Ruby saying that she’s trying to do what’s best, but doesn’t know if what’s best is what’s right as we see her use her Silver eyes on the Kaiju.
I’m hoping that this line about Ruby not being sure about what’s best being what’s right implies that we’ll get some kind of fallout for the events of Argus. One of my major gripes with the V6 finale is just how dangerous their plan was for the civilians in Argus, and how the narrative so far hasn’t really acknowledged that. The first step of their plan was cutting communications in Argus – something that would have caused mass panic even if they had succeeded and got away without the military noticing in time to send out forces. That panic can and did draw Grimm, and very easily would have killed dozens to hundreds of people. They’re huntsmen and huntresses – even if what’s “best” may be getting the Relic to Atlas, that doesn’t make what they did to do so (putting the civilians of Argus in unnecessary danger) “right”. Anyway, moving on.
2. Next, we get the gang flying into Atlas, whose airspace is completely full of military airships, with Weiss saying that this isn’t right. It then transitions to a shot of Atlas above Mantle, which seems to be on fire, then to the city, then the streets, where we see Atlesian knights patrolling, and only a handful of civilians walking outside, while Blake says the city just seems awful. We see a man throwing a trashcan at a TV screen (which as far as I can tell was showing the “Atlas Broadcasting(?) Network”) while a voice asks “what can we do?” (Can someone tell me who that is? It doesn’t really sound like Oscar or Jaune, and Qrow’s new VA pulls off a much more convincing performance at the end of the trailer, so I don’t think it’s him). Cut to Ruby saying that they didn’t come this far to fail now.
So, from Weiss’s line, we know that this is not how things usually are. The military is on high alert, showing off how strong their defenses are to match the closed off borders. I would guess that this also means troops roaming the city on patrol isn’t how things used to be either. Now, from what I’ve seen, most people seem to be taking this as a sign of martial law, and that theory certainly seems likely – the man throwing the trashcan and the fires we see are all potential signs of rioting, which could be a cause and/or effect of martial law being enacted. I have to wonder if that’s only part of the story, though. Later in the trailer, we see the gang fighting Grimm on the city streets (so I assume that’s what Ruby’s line is directed at), which we know from the leaked storyboards and their clothes happens immediately after they enter Atlas. The only time we’ve seen Grimm inside kingdom walls is during the Fall, so why are they there? What if this is a recent occurrence – a sudden influx of Grimm making it past the defenses and into the city proper? That’s another explanation (or even just another reason in addition to rioting) for troops to be patrolling, and I could very easily see that becoming a vicious cycle. Grimm get in, people panic, drawing more Grimm to the area and making it more likely for them to get it, causing more attacks and more panic, and making the soldiers seem less like protectors and more like ineffective “peacekeepers”. There’s a lot more I could say about this, but let’s keep going.
3. We go back to Ironwood’s voice overlaying what seem to be two/three different fights – the fight in the city streets against the sabertooth Grimm and two different fights in a mineshaft (and yes, they’re mines, the warning signs on the walls warn of deep mineshafts) against a new type of Grimm that I’ve heard are called Centinels and later an Ice Geist. He says, “Until now, I believed it was impossible to truly turn the tides against Salem. We find ourselves in the position of needing…. A new approach. She will keep returning stronger and stronger –“ cut to the new model for Ironwood “- unless we destroy her.” Cut to Ruby saying “Tell us how we can help.”
So, the main thing of interest to me here is Ironwood. We can see from the shot of his new appearance that he’s no longer taking care of his appearance like he did in the first few volumes – the stubble from V4 has become a full grown beard, and his hair doesn’t look like it’s been combed in weeks. The guilt and paranoia that we saw budding in V4 has fully come into bloom, as evident by his lines here, the heightened defenses we saw around Atlas, and the troops patrolling the city. In V4 E11, Jacques accuses Ironwood of never trusting anyone but himself, to which Ironwood responds to “For good reason,” then immediately says, “If Oz had just listened to me from the start…” Ironwood clearly believes that the Fall of Beacon would not have happened had Oz listened to him – used his strategies. Oz’s strategies “failed”, so this reaffirmed Ironwood in thinking that he’d had the right ideas – that if he had been able to control what was happening in Beacon, he could have stopped it. So, now, he’s not taking any risks with Atlas. He’s doing everything he thinks is right to protect the kingdom, no matter how paranoid or insane it seems – closing the borders, dust embargos, potential martial law, whatever it takes to keep the kingdom “safe”.
Now, this seems to be extending to Salem herself. If Oz was flawed about Beacon, he may be reasoning, why can’t he be wrong about Salem? Maybe there is a way – maybe the strength of Atlas *can* destroy Salem. Salem always seems to come back, maybe she’s just never been completely destroyed, and that’s what we need to try to do to fully get rid of her. Now, we know that this isn’t true, that Salem can’t be killed, can’t be destroyed, but even if Ironwood knows this (from his “believed it was impossible to turn the tides” line), he’s clearly no longer thinking straight. He no longer trusts Oz for having reasons for not simply going after her with an army, since Oz has been knocked down from his pedestal of “all-wise and powerful” with his “death”, so now he’s going to try to go about things his own way… which, from the state of Mantle? Doesn’t seem to be working amazingly well. More on that when I try to summarize my thoughts into a cohesive TLDR.
4. Cue Team RWBY jumping out of a plane into some kind of complex (my guess would be the mines/refineries at the mine site), interspersed with them fighting either the Sabertooths or the Cenitals, and title card.
So, “final” (I say that, but I’ll probably talk about them again) take on the new outfits. Ruby is still my favorite – it still looks really good, the hair is far tamer than I or anyone else thought it would be and I’m glad (though in some places, particularly the concept art that went around like a week ago, it really looks like Cinder, and I’m not sure how to feel about that), since this just gives her hair a more stylized look.
Blake is sitting at my second favorite – I think it’s a look that comes together pretty well, and the hair looks fine (I’ve seen some people complaining about how flat it looks, and I’m just here like, yeah, that happens a lot when you cut it that short, it can lose the volume it used to have).
Now Weiss and Yang… are now kinda tied. Yang’s outfit looks better than it did in the original art for me, and I think that’s mainly because the belt breaks up the khaki a bit better in 3D, so it’s not just a great expanse of bleh (still think the jumpsuit itself is ugly as hell, but I’ll take what I can get).
Weiss’s… is still a case where I like the aesthetic they were going for, but it doesn’t come together right. The big poofy skirt looks okay when she’s on her own (sometimes), but next to the rest of RWBY just looks so out of place and in the way and honestly a bit bland. The top half with the sleeves and gloves look… fine, but again, I wish they didn’t poof out the arms so much. The braid… still gives me really mixed feelings because it’s shorter than the concept art, but it’s still looks so thick and heavy, and adds to this unbalanced feeling I get. If it was in the back completely, instead of the side, I would be perfectly fine with it, but as it is, just throws me off. I can see what they were going for, particularly in the clip where she’s fighting a Cenital since that’s where the outfit as a whole looks best to me, but as a whole, there are too many little details that throw me off for me to really like it. Again, that might change when the first episode hits, but for now… eh.
The title card is pretty, though.
5. Back in the city streets – Qrow comments that he was expecting things to go a lot rougher, Blake and Yang are walking away when suddenly – captured by bolos! We see Blake, Qrow, then Ruby go down, the Relic falling off on to the pavement. A man approaches, while another standing of to the side, and then picks up the Relic. End trailer.
So, first off, major kudos to the new Qrow VA – his performance is outstanding. I was worried that the transition would be jarring, but if I hadn’t known they’d put someone new in, I honestly wouldn’t have noticed. His mimicry of Qrow’s voice is exceptional.
Second, I’m fairly certain that the people that captured the team are Atlas personnel. While we can’t see much, the man in frame wears white and blue, Atlas colors, and has a fairly militaristic haircut. The other figure is either wearing white boots, has a model that hasn’t been completely rendered yet, or seems to be an android, looking at the odd pattern and shape of his feet. I’ve seen some people throwing out the idea that this is Ironwood trying to take the Relic, or Atlas trying to steal the Relic, since the man picks it up, but – guys. Really? We see Ruby talking to Ironwood earlier in this trailer. They’re still in their old clothes, this is episode one. The more likely explanation is that these guys captured them because RWBY and Co attacked a military base, stole an airship, arrived in said stolen airship, and clearly are not supposed to be here if they just suddenly appeared without the border officials being informed, and so are clearly criminals in the eyes of Atlas. So, yeah, my 5 lien are on them spending, like, 5 minutes in jail before they can get to Ironwood, where he (hopefully) reams them out a bit.
So, yeah, that’s the trailer!  No sign of Whitley, which, disappointed by not surprised. I’m gonna hold out hope for him to be in the intro, like in Volume 4. As for what I think may be happening this volume from the trailers, I expect we’ll have a heavy focus on Ironwood, his paranoia, and his relationship with Oz, and how that extends to how the inner circle has operated for the part 10/20/?? years. I also feel like the first big thing to be tackled will be the Grimm in the city. The fact that Grimm are getting in points to a huge breakdown in the kingdom’s defenses, despite the fact Ironwood seems to have ramped them up to 11. So, the question is, where are they coming from, and how are they getting in? Considering that the Centinals break out from the ground, and RWBY and Co are fighting in a mineshaft, I would say that it’s coming from a subterranean pocket of Grimm, like the ones that people of Mountain Glenn broke in on. Since we know Salem is experimenting more with Grimm, it’s possible that this Grimm outbreak is being caused by her seeing how viable it would be to launch an attack on Atlas from underground, where their defenses are at their weakest, and this is showing most prominently in the mines and the city around them/on the ground. Otherwise, it could be possible the SDC, while mining, broke into a cavern full of them. This doesn’t seem as likely, though, with the dust embargo. If the SDC isn’t able to sell overseas, then mining operations were most likely shut down temporarily. No use wasting money trying to get product that you can’t sell. It could be an old mine, though – one that had been boarded up cause Grimm, but that broke loose due to all the negativity caused by Ironwood’s new measures.
But ultimately, we’ll just have to wait and see! Once again, I’m sorry if this is a bit rambling – I have to leave any minute now, so I haven’t given this a through reread, but I want to get my thoughts out there in a timely manner for once, so I’m going to post anyway. Thank you for reading this far! What’re your thoughts on the trailer, the outfits, the potential plot? Feel free to comment below or send an ask, and I’ll talk to you all soon! Have a good day!

Ranting: Arrow 7x14
Ok, First and foremost:
DIAZ IS DEAD!!!
Tumblr media
Second, I like the episode. I enjoy the whole Ninth Circle, Dante thing. I found it interesting, and even Diaz wasn't as boring as always. FF were also interesting! I think they improve a lot when it's only Will and Mia. I wouldn't mind either Connor, but the rest (yes, including Roy), I can totally do without them.
Anyway, let's jump in:
Flashforwards:
As I say, they were interesting. We finally have some info worth all the episodes we have to suffered through them. Mia putting in their place to Dinah and Zoe was awesome, and Will siding with her in less than a minute was great too. He was actually mad at DD for assuming Felicity was dead, without checking her info, and I think the fact that DD nor Roy didn't have a clue about Oliver and Felicity having a child, will maybe making him wary of trusting them. Because if them,  his parents team didn't have a clue about something as huge as a baby, then his parents maybe didn't trust them as much, did they?.
I have read some theories about the little cassette containing proof that Oliver and Felicity never stop loving, and trying to contact William, and that it possibly has some more info about what is happening in Star City...and yes, I completely agree. Felicity wouldn't have contacted William without offering him some sort of answers: she probably knew William wasn't her and Oliver's biggest fan. I don't believe for one second that Felicity didn't keep tabs on Will after whatever happened that got Oliver killed, and the city going to shit. But I think she stay away from him, to protect him. Mia heavily hinted that Felicity was paranoid, always seeing danger at every dark corner, and the way she raised her; all these tells me she was trying to protect Mia from all the threats and people that probably was after her. I think she didn't feel it was fair to have Will in her life, with all the shit she was dealing with. So she let him believed they (Oliver and her) had abandoned him. For his own good.
I'm not saying this was the best decision. Or a good one. But as William said "Parents aren't perfect. They love us the best way they can". And I think Felicity not involving William on all the shit that She and Mia went through, it was the best way she could show William she loved him.
It's sad, what Felicity became without Oliver. It shows us how much they depend on each other, and that without the other, they aren't complete.
I'm leaving Oliver out because until this moment, it seems like he hasn't been a part of Mia and Felicity's lives for a long time.
Emiko:
Eh. I don't know. Her attitude just annoys me. Now more since we know she is working with Dante. Talk about another person betraying Oliver *rolleyes* I supposed her whole "I blame you for what your father did to my mom and I" is just a way to make Oliver feel guilty and making him trust her. I'm holding judgement, because her scene with Dante...she didn't seem too pleased to see him, or the fact that he wanted her back "home".
Felicity and BS:
Good scenes. Still don't know what to do about their "friendship", but ok. It was weird that BS knew Felicity was pregnant, just because she was eating too much chocolate, and there wasn't any wine or coffe in the counter...I could buy it, if it BS has children, because I know women with children can sometimes tell when someone is pregnant (My mom knew my older sister was pregnant months before my sister finally told her), but...ok, it seemed to me they made BS telling Felicity she knew just so she had something to do this episode. Her only scenes where with Felicity and revolved around Felicity's pregnancy...so yeah, there's that.
Also, BS was suspiciously good in this episode, giving a pep talk about how Diaz was under A.R.G.U.S. custody, so they didn't need to kill him. It was @1-crazy-dreamer who pointed out in our talk, that she could have been fooling Felicity, acting like a good girl; so no one would suspect it was her when she kill Diaz.
Dante and the ninth circle:
This is the villain we deserve a season and a half ago. I do believe that guy can be a match for Oliver. The whole thing is a mystery, and I'm fine with it.
A.R.G.U.S.:
So...there's people from the Ninth Circle working inside A.R.G.U.S. That would explain why the agency is evil in the future, and why Dante has so much first hand info. Infiltrating the lines of an off the grid government agency is the best way to expand their net and protect their organization.
DIGGLE:
FINALLY. FINALLY JOHN DIGGLE ACKNOWLEDGE HE WAS AN IDIOT, AND THAT HE ABANDONED FELICITY TO PROTECT HIS JOB.
I liked their OTA conversation at the beginning. Felicity being cute, before getting angry af at Diggle was the best. I liked too that Oliver was the one trying to cool things down between Felicity and Digg, so no one would say something and later regret it.
Oliver was is jail when Digg and Felicity were at odds, and Diggle wasn't supporting Felicity. What he knows is that Digg doesn't do things just because (although to be fair his reasons never were clear), so he tries to make Felicity see this. The problem is...he wasn't there. So he didn't see his wife alone, abandoned by the one friend she thought she could always count on. I think he should have been more supportive to Felicity here. He later acknowledged he hasn't been the most understanding, so I forgive him.
Back at Diggle. I think Curtis leaving, and the conversation with Felicity finally made him realised he had abandoned the people he considers his family. He deciding to catch Diaz instead of going after Dante, and later apologizing to Felicity about what he did before, it's a good, a great start to have mend their friendship.
Him taking the fallout instead of Lyla, is another sign that he is going back to the Digg we all missed and love.
Oliver and Felicity:
I said it before, I didn't like much that Oliver didn't fully support Felicity in their first conversation with Diggle. But I did like that later he told her he didn't fully realize or understand the pain she was dealing with. It shows FINALLY, that he isn't totally clueless as to what is happening with his wife. And he supporting her, whatever her decision was in regards to Diaz, was great. He may not agree with her wanting to kill Diaz, but he was ready to support her  (and I suppose help her if she needed it), if she decided to kill Diaz. Also, I loved when he told her "I think there's a better way". It shows how much Felicity has inspired him to be better, to the point where he reminds her of something she told him a long time ago. It not only shows growth, but also that he will be there for when she needs him to remind her she doesn't have to go the dark path to protect their family.
The reveal was cute. There should have been a kiss and some kitchen counter sex but ok...Oliver's face when she told him...ALL THE FEEEEELS!
And how great is seeing Feliciy on pajamas?
Also: HE LOOKED AT HER, ALL THE EPISODE. WOW. YES THANK YOU.
Tumblr media
All in all, Olicity was super fantastic, and I want more Olicity of this kind.
DIAZ:
THE LIZARD WAS ROASTED, HOW AWESOME IS THAT???
Tumblr media
I said it when I was talking about Laurel and Felicity, and I think that BS setting him on fire is posible. I WANT HER TO BE THE ONE WHO DID IT.
Just two scenes of DD.
Overall, I love the episode. I wasn't expecting much, and it deliver so beautifully!!
That's all.

01x07 (part 2)
Season One Episode Seven: Hook Man
Summary: the case is getting closer and closer to being solved, despite all the ups and downs but all the reader wants to do it wrap it up and get the hell out of dodge.
Word Count: 5.5k
Part 1 Part 3
It was dark and 9-mile road had an eerie feeling to it that only got worse when Dean shut the headlights of the Impala off. You got out, regardless of how fucking scary this place was at night but you had to investigate the case somehow. Right up close and personal. The extended arsenal of weapons Dean kept in the trunk made you feel slightly better but that feeling went away within seconds.
“If it is a spirit, buckshot won’t do much good,” Sam commented after Dean handed him a gun from the truck. Sam messed with the gun, aiming it in the direction of the road.
“Yeah. Rock salt,” Dean said, handing Sam the bullets filled with rock salt. They were a secret weapon that you and Dean created a while back. Something to keep the spirits at bay until you could safely get rid of them. For good.
“Hhm. Salt being a spirit deterrent.” Sam took them, turning them around in his hand to examine them and then put them in his gun. Dean rummaged some more in his truck and grabbed a weapon of his own and ammo.
“It won’t kill ‘em,” he said, slamming the trunk shut with the gun slung from his back.
“But it’ll slow them down.” You finished his sentence, earning a wink from Dean as he rounded the Impala. You followed in the middle, safely sandwiched between the two boys. Where you always wanted to be.
“That’s pretty good. You and dad think of this?” Sam asked, curious about the ammo. You were prepared to tell him the story, give him every little detail from how the conversation started and how you mentioned the idea, just in passing and as a joke and how Dean’s face lit up, excited about it and then took complete credit for the idea but you didn’t mind. You wanted to indulge Sam in the knowledge of how it took about five different tries to get the rock salt in the bullet the way you wanted and how the first time you guys tried to use it, it didn’t work and the two of you ended up running from a spirit like you were in a horror movie.
“I told you, you don’t have to be a college graduate to be a genius,”” Dean beat you to it, giving his answer as blandly as possible. His incessant need to make Sam think highly of him, the secret was that Sam already did. You were cut off the sound of the woods just beyond the road creaking. Twigs snapping and the brush moving around and it wasn’t from the wind.
“Over there, over there,” you whispered, turning your attention a few feet to the right. You nudged Sam, who’s gun was lifted and aimed and ready to shoot if need be. The end of the gun followed your gaze and Dean had his hand ready to grab his weapon if he needed to as footsteps started to approach. The leaves. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Under the footsteps of whatever was ahead.
“Put the gun down! Now! Now! Hands behind your head!” A voice boomed, causing Sam to immediately drop his weapon. An officer, sheriff, park ranger, you didn’t know. You couldn’t tell and it didn’t really matter because he had a gun pointing right at the three of you and he would shoot if you didn’t do what he said so you hands went behind your head.
“Wait, wait, wait! Okay! Okay!” Dean coaxed, setting the gun that was hanging from his back on the ground and doing what the officer said. Spirits, shapeshifters, Hookman legends were all easy peasy but the law enforcement parade was a whole separate story.
“Get down on your knees! Do it! On your knees!” He bellowed, getting closer and closer with his gun still aimed in your direction. Again, you did what you were told, the twigs poking into your knees. It hurt and you wanted to move them away with your hands, adjust your positioning so that you didn’t end up with holes in your kneecaps but you knew better. “Now get down on your bellies! Come on, do it!” He yelled once everyone was on their knees. One step further, you thought. The knife in the back.
“He had the gun,” Dean whined, frustrated that the cops were making him also get on his stomach you understood, being in the same boat as him but you would have never said it out loud and you wished you could kick him for it.
“We saved your ass! Talked the sheriff down to a fine, my dude. I’m Matlock,” Dean boasted as he pushed the grand doors of the police station open. It was the next day and the three of you spent the night in police custody. They let you and Dean go with just a warning, seeing as you didn’t have a gun aimed at law enforcement’s head but talking Sam out of jail time was a little bit harder than that.
“But how?” Sam asked, trying to catch up to Dean’s fast pace. He wanted to get out of there quickly. Less time near police, the less time they have to decide they want to search his car. You always told him they wouldn’t unless they had solid evidence to, but Dean was paranoid about it.
“Told him you were a dumb ass pledge and we were hazing you.” Dean chuckled at his own made up story. It was the first thing that popped into his mind and you followed along with it. It seemed to be the easiest and most realistic story, seeing as the events of the past few weeks.
“What about the shotgun?” Sam still pushed harder for more information. A few more feet to the car and then you guys were home free. Note to self, next time don’t go into the creepy woods.
“We told them that you were hunting ghosts and that the spirits are repelled by rock salt. Typical hell week prank,” you explained. The truth, in your case, never made any sense and it was so wild that sometimes it was the best excuse. No one wanted to question it. With the death of the frat boy and no suspects or leads, rumors were going wild and why wouldn’t a ghost be one of them?
“And he believed you?” Sam sounded like he didn’t believe you himself. Like you were making up stories and he was going to get arrest at any moment. As if they let him loose, gave him a taste of his freedom just to take it away as quickly as it was given to him.
“Well, you look like a dumb-ass pledge,” Dean joked as you finally reached the car. Sam went to open the door when Dean mumbled his name. You both followed his gaze and saw at least 5 police officers rushing out of the same doors you two came out of only moments ago. One of them was the cop who questioned you. You could have sworn you saw Sam’s life flash before his eyes as if what he was imagining in his head was coming true but then they all got in their respective police cars, ignoring the three of you and speeding off with their sirens on full blast. You decided to follow.
The Impala went as fast Dean would let it, going fast enough to keep up with the sound of the sirens but not too fast because then you would end up in the same situation you were in earlier.
Dean inched closer to the scene, yellow caution tape cutting off the whole driveway
and yard of what seemed to be a normal, suburban house but something awful happened on the inside of it. Something no one would ever be able to imagine just by looking at it’s perfectly sided exterior. Lori Sorenson sat on the back of an ambulance, a blanket wrapped around her shoulder. What the hell was she doing here? You noticed Sam’s eyes linger longer than you wanted.
Dean went around the corner of the block, parked the Impala and you gained access into the back of the house. You needed to get as close to the crime scene as possible before they cleaned it all up and poof all evidence of whatever this was is gone. “Why would the Hookman come here? It’s a long way from 9-mile road,” Sam pointed out, poking holes in the only theory you guys had.
“Maybe he’s not haunting the crime scene, maybe it’s something else,” Dean said, patching it back up. The three of you crept alongside the house, keeping a close eye on the people in the front of the house, their backs turned towards you. A pair of girls came into view, closer than the other people and all three of your backs went up against the wall, Dean’s arm covering over your chest as if you didn’t get the hint.
Sam was already started to climb the side of the house without Dean noticing because his eyes were too attached to the back of the girls. “Damn sorority girls,” Dean drooled. “Think maybe we’ll see a naked pillow fight?” Dean laughed at his own joke as you helped Sam take his first couple of steps up the house. When Dean notices, his laughter subsided and he started to help you climb up behind Sam and then him, behind you. His eyes still never left the girls butts.
You kept your hand trailing alongside the house, the contact-making you feel a little less like you could fall off and die at any moment in time. Sam kept peeking behind him at you like he needed to keep a close watch but you knew Dean was behind you and would catch you if you fell. You wondered why Sam kept looking if he knew that, too.
Before he made any more moves, Sam checked the crowd in the front of the house to make sure no one was looking up. When the coast was clear, he pried open the window and slide in. You did the same and then so did Dean, who was a lot less graceful than you. “Be quiet,” Sam hissed from inside the house.
“Me be quiet? You be quiet!” Dean pressed back, getting his whole body in the house. You closed the window behind him, ignoring their bantering. You were in a hallway with fresh linens folded up on a shelf. The door to the right of you was the victims. You knew that by the police officer that was looking around, taking notes on his pad. Sam held out his arm so neither you nor Dean would go ahead and get caught.
When the officer left, the three of you entered. The only crime scene tape that was up was blocking off the queen size bed with a queen size pool of blood-soaked into the sheets. “Aren’t you glad you didn’t turn on the light” was drawn in blood, blood that was dripping down the walls and into the sheets Sam repeated the words, his voice quiet. “That’s right out of the legend,” he said.
“That’s classic Hookman, all right. It’s definitely a spirit,” Dean said, pointing at his nose. With all the gore that was in front of you, the horrific smell was the least of your concerns. You starred at the scene in awe as Dean started to look around for other clues.
“Yeah, I’ve never spelled ozone this strong before,” Sam commented about the smell. You pointed at a symbol that was drawn in the same blood. It was lower than the words, like a signature. “Hey, come here,” Sam called for Dean who appeared within moments. “Does that look familiar to you?” He asked like he knew the answer but wanted Dean to put the pieces together for himself. You felt it, too. It was too familiar for it to be random. A signature. That’s exactly what it was.
You snuck out of the house, down the siding and tiptoed back to the Impala where you dug up all the papers and information that you had about the Hookman legend. There, on a drawing of the hook Jacob Karns used, was the symbol. “It’s the same symbol,” you pointed out the obvious as you sat on the hood of the Impala, Sam in the middle holding the paper.
“Seems like it is the spirit of Jacob Karns,” Sam concluded, still reading the pages of Jacob. Dean seemed content with this information, looking off into the street and not at the pages anymore.
“Well, let’s find his body, salt and burn the bones,” he said as if the solution was always just that easy.
“After execution, Jacob Karns was laid to rest in an old North Cemetery in an unmarked grave,” Sam read, flicking the papers as if they were the one who caused this. The pages were the reason Jacob Karns was unfindable. The pages were the reason these people died.
“Super,” Dean deadpanned and got off the hood of the car, rounding it to get in the front seat. Sam quickly followed suit, grunting as he got up. He held his hand out for you to grab and you did, acting as if the touch wasn’t sending shivers down your spine.
“So, we know it’s Jacob Karns, but we still don’t know where he’ll manifest next,” Sam was explaining when Dean picked off a piece of paper from his windshield. He read it, turned it around a few times. “Or why.”
“I think I have a wild guess about why. I think your friend Lori has something to do with this,” Dean said, not explaining what the note was but instead he got in the car. Sam cocked his head, giving his brother a quizzical look before turning to you. You shrugged your shoulders, knowing nothing and held your hands up in defense.
Dean explained on the way to the frat house that the note he saw was from Lori herself, which is why Dean made the comment about Lori having something to do with it. It made sense, she was at two of the murders and the only witness.
The frat house was crawling with college students that were either getting drunk or completely drunk. While you were dodging all of the creepy guys, staying close to Sam’s side, and gawking at how idiotic all these people looked dancing as if they were made of metal poles, Dean was checking out all of the hot sorority girls.
“Man you’ve been holding out on me! This college thing is awesome!” Dean yelled over the heavy music that boomed through the entire house. Sam was hitting his palm with a rolled-up stack of papers he had been carrying around. He was jittery. Nervous.
“This wasn’t really my experience,” he commented. No expression in his voice but his eyes were darting around the entire place probably looking for Lori, you assumed. You didn’t let that hurt you. That he was looking for another girl while you were standing right next to him.
“Let me guess, library, studying, straight A’s,” Dean said. It was more of a statement than a question because you both knew that was exactly what Sam did in college. He didn’t party and hook up with girls and get drunk every weekend and wake up in someone new’s bed. No, he went to class and did all his assignments and then he met Jess and settled down into his little apartment where he continued to get good grades only now he had a hot girl to wake up to every morning. Sam nodded at Dean’s comment, as you suspected. “What a geek,” Dean teased.
“We did our research,” you told Dean, anything to change the subject. You took the papers that he was messing with out of Sam’s hands, unrolled them, and showed them to Dean.
“It was bugging me. How is the Hookman tied up with Lori?” Sam asked, setting the scene for why you did the research and what you had found. Dean nodded and started walking through the crowd. You both followed him and Dean read the paper silently before reading it out loud.
“1932 - Clergyman arrested for murder. 1967 - Seminarian held in hippie rampage,” Dean read off the article titles, glancing at your expectant faces. He didn’t get it. He wasn’t putting the dots together so Sam did for him.
“The pattern. In both cases, the suspect was a man of religion who openly preached against immorality.” Dean stopped to listen to Sam talk. You stood close to Sam as boys passed you by, looking at you, pawing at you. Dean noticed and stared at them until they felt uncomfortable and walked away. “And then found himself wanted for killings he claimed were the work of an invisible force,” Sam continued. “Killings carried out - get this - with a sharp instrument,” Sam finished. His face was so filled with excitement that you were almost let down when Dean decided to push the connection.
“What does this have to do with Lori?”
“A man of religion who openly preaches against immorality,” Sam repeated again. Lori’s dad. Dean got it, nodded his head as if he just solved the math equation he had been working on for ages. “Maybe this time instead of trying to save a whole town, he’s trying to save his only daughter.”
“Reverend Sorenson,” Dean commented, reading the pages in his hands again. “You think he’s summoning the spirit?”
“Maybe.” Sam glanced around the room, checking for any prying ears or Lori maybe. “Or you know how a poltergeist can haunt a person instead of a place?” He suggested.
“The spirit latches onto the reverend’s repressed emotions, feeds off them. Yeah okay,” Dean ran through the facts as quickly as they went through his mind. How big the possibility of that actually was.
“Without the Reverend ever even knowing it,” Sam finished his thoughts. When they got into their rhythm, they bounced off of each other like that ping pong game at the arcades or the pizza parlor. Words and thoughts, ideas and facts spitting out at each other and bouncing around the room.
“Either way, you should keep an eye on Lori tonight,” Dean said to his brother. You wanted nothing less than for Sam to be drinking at a party and keeping an eye on another drunk college girl but he did what needed to be done. He hesitated before answering, which made you feel a little better but not really by much.
“What about Y/N?” Sam asked, no doubt referring to the eyes that kept falling on your butt and the hands that were like magnets to the small of your back. All eyes and hands unwelcomed, unless they were attached to the Winchester boy, who’s honey eyes, were all you could seem to fucking focus on. Focus.
“Um, standing right here and can take care of herself!” You called out after a beat. You gestured your hands up and down your body to further prove that you were actually there and didn’t need to be spoken for. Sam’s eyes following your hands were just a bonus.
“I’ll keep an eye on her,” Dean agreed with little hesitation until a blonde bombshell rounded the counter and bent over the pool table, pretending she could actually play but you knew and Dean knew that she really just wanted someone to look at her ass. “And I guess we’ll go see if we can find that unmarked grave,” Dean groaned, looking away from the girl and cursing under his breath. You couldn’t help but laugh at him as you followed him through the house.
Sam’s hand grabbed your wrist before you could get too far and he turned you around. “Be careful,” he said. His eyes were searching your face. You nodded and he let go too soon but you walked away from him despite every bone in your body screaming not to.
Once again, you found yourself in a dark, creepy space but this time it was filled with gravestones and you just knew in your heart that there were ghosts all around you. Dean leads the way, the flashlight shining the path that you were following, looking for an unmarked grave that you could potentially dig up. Some leaves crackle and Dean stops. “What was that?” You whisper, nervous of every sound that you could hear. He shook his head and the noise away and continued. “There!” You whispered, pointing eagerly at an unmarked grave with a familiar symbol etched into the cement.
“Aha, here we go,” Dean mumbled quietly while you set all your stuff down. Dean shoved the shovel into the ground and you set up the lights so he could see. You were there for moral support, not actual support. There was no way you were digging up a dead body and Dean knew that. So, he started digging. “Next time, I get to watch the cute girl’s house,” Dean grunted as he shoveled out yet another pile of dirt.
“Just keep going,” you brushed off his comment about Sam being with a cute girl and kept the light, and your eyes, on the hole in the ground you were sitting next to.
“Oh, don’t act like it’s not bothering you that he’s there right now.”
“And why would it?” You asked, looking down at him for once. He took a break, setting the shovel down and coming close to you. Your heart was racing at whatever it was he was going to say and you wanted to look away but you didn’t. You forced yourself to look at him. To prove that nothing was going to shake you.
“Because you’re in love with him, stupid.” You took offense to his comment, shook the light a little bit at the ground below you. Now you broke the eye contact and looked down, studied it as if it could make the comment go away.
“I think you’re close, keep going.” Dean did as you asked, slamming the shovel into the ground. The entire ground below him cracked and he hit it again and there he was the skeleton in all his glory. “Hello, preacher,” you purred.
Dean handed you the shovel and you gladly took it, reaching your hand down to help him up. He groaned as he stood on solid ground and you rummaged through the bags of stuff to find the matches. Dean was cleaning himself off from all the dirt that he was covered in and you handed him the matches. Dean lit one and then lit up the preacher.
Still, no rest for the wicked because after everything was said and done, a phone call came through your next stop was the hospital. You followed the nurses instructions to the room where Lori’s dad was but you were stopped by two officers. “I’m with him. That’s my brother. Hey, brother!” Dean tried to push his way through, but the officers made you stay back. The officer speaking to Sam gave them the signal and they let the two of you through.
You smiled and thanked the guards as Dean just waltzed in as if he owned the place. As if he had a right to be there.
“You okay?” You asked as the two of you met with Sam in the middle of the long corridor that leads from the two of you were waiting to where the Reverend was laying in bed. Where Lori was waiting with him.
“What the hell happened?” Dean asked, peaking around Sam’s body to try and catch a glimpse of what was going on but all you could see was the police officer, keeping a close eye.
“Hookman,” Sam said simply. But no, that wouldn’t make any sense.
“You saw him?” Dean asked, just as confused as you were but you were flustered and confused and Dean was always cool and calm and collected and he could muster up the words.
“Damn right I did. Why didn’t you torch the bones?” Sam snapped, dipping his head closer to yours so that you could hear him whisper and the rest of the hospital, and the police officer, couldn’t.
“What the hell are you talking about? We did. Are you sure it’s the spirit of Jacob Karns?” You spoke up, defending yourselves even though you knew that Sam wasn’t really mad. You were projecting and judging by the look Dean gave you, he knew it, too.
“Sure as hell looked like him. And that’s not all. I don’t think the spirit is latching onto the Reverend,” Sam said, putting more pieces together. Just when you think you’ve figured it all out - the final piece, sitting there in arms reach and you go to put it into place and it’s not the right fit.
“Well yeah the guy wouldn’t send the Hookman after himself,” Dean shrugged as if that was common sense.
“I think it’s latching onto Lori,” Sam offered. A light went off in your head, ding ding ding. Of course, it was latched to Lori. “Last night she found out that her father was having an affair with a married woman.”
“So what?” Dean asked, pushing Sam again. You didn’t even want to know why or how Sam found out that information. What they talked about. Why they were talking about and God, did he kiss her?
“So she’s upset about it. She’s upset about the immorality of it. She told me she was raised to believe that if you do something wrong, that you get punished,” Sam kept spitting the facts. Like the conversation was on repeat in his brain. Like he wanted to keep her voice and her words close to him so he never forgot it.
“Okay so she’s conflicted and the spirit of Jacob Karns is latching onto her repressed emotions and maybe doing the punishing for her,” Dean kept going, again like ping pong balls.
“Rich comes on too strong. Taylor tries to make her into a party girl. Dad has an affair,” you start listing off all of the reasons the people around Lori got hurt. You actually felt bad for her. What if her dad had died, too? She would have lost a lot of people she was close to and on top of that, she would be the number one suspect. Of course, Sam kissed her.
“Remind me not to piss this girl off,” Dean joked, looking out the giant window that lit up the entire space.
“We burned the bones. We buried them in salt. Why didn’t that stop him?” You asked, crossing your arms over your chest and gave Sam your attention. He looked at you, really looked at you for the first time since you saw him today and it was like he slowed down.
“You guys must have missed something,” he shrugged.
“No, I burned everything in that coffin,” Dean defended himself, looking at his brother. His face was stern and serious now, certain that we got everything but you had little to attest to. After all, you sat on the sidelines watching.
“Did you get the hook?” Sam asked as if it was that easy. As if that was such an obvious answer and you should have looked for the damn hook.
“The hook?”
“Well, it was the murder weapon, and in a way, a part of him,” Sam said, again spitting facts and they’re all right all the time and it was fucking annoying.
“So like the bones, the hook is the source of his power,” Dean ping-ponged off of Sam and Sam ping-ponged off of Dean and they looked at each other like they solved the world’s biggest cold case.
“So if we find the hook.”
“We stop the hookman,” they said in unison.
“Ok, that is really starting to get creepy.” You held your hands out, taking a step back and distancing yourself from the creepy twins.
So so you did more research. Back to the drawing board to search for the hook that was keeping Jacob Karns on this Earth and killing people. Not innocent people, you thought, but still people. Was he really that bad? Was he any worse than the three of you?
You sat three in a row at a table in the library, book sprawled out all over the place just searching, searching, searching. “Here’s something, I think,” Dean said, chewed up pen in his mouth. He took it out and used the side that was in his mouth to point at the book, yuck. “Logbook, Iowa State Penetrary. Karns, Jacob. Person affects, disposition thereof,” Dean started drifting off as he spoke. Something about after his execution and his personal belonging and then it got too quiet to really hear him. “St. Barnabas Church.”
“Isn’t that where Lori’s father preaches?” Sam asked, of course, he would know that you thought. The thought came faster than it left and you felt bad for it ever cross your mind because you knew that and Dean knew that and just because Sam knew, doesn’t mean he’s in love with her. “Where Lori lives?”
“Maybe that’s why the Hookman’s been haunting reverends and reverends daughters for the past 200 years,” Dean suggested. The Hookman was lazy. Didn’t want to hunt for it’s pray, it would rather sleep for 20 years and strike at the least suspecting person. Someone with a lot of friends that do bad things.
“Yeah but if the hook were at the church or at Lori’s house, don’t you think someone might have seen it?” Sam asked, stating another obvious fact. “I mean, a blood-stained, silver-handed hook?” You would think, you thought. But people weren’t that smart and things go unnoticed all the time but that wasn’t a good enough answer and you knew it would never be that easy. You wanted nothing more than for the case to be over. For Lori Sorenson to be just another person that we helped along the way and to put thousands of miles in between her and you and Sam.
“Check the church records,” Dean grumbled and got up to receive just that. It took only a few minutes, a few position changes and one single thought - that Sam looked really good sitting in the chair that way, with his hair in his eyes and his biceps popping out as he flipped the pages of the book he was hunched over - to find the answer.
“St. Barnabas donations, 1862. Received - silver-handed hook from State Penitentiary. Reforged.” Sam tapped the book the same way he flicked that paper like it did something wrong. “The melted it down, made it into something else,” he sighed and leaned back into the chair. Defeat. That was what was in the air of the library now. Defeat.
“Well! Looks like the case is closed and there’s nothing else we can do!” You chanted, standing up quickly, closing the books near you and walking away from the boys before they could say a word. You knew it wasn’t that simple and if they started something they would finish it but you had to admit that seeing Lori’s face made you want to punch yourself. Yourself for feeling so many feelings for a boy that’s emotionally unavailable and being mad at another girl for seeing the light in his smile the same way you did.
The older boy followed you but you brushed off any questions he asked you and agreed without any arguing that you were going to the church and finishing this job before anyone else got hurt. That was the whole point, wasn’t it? To help people and make sure they weren’t getting hurt but what about you? God, you were selfish.
You pulled up to the church and got out of the Impala. “We can’t take any chances. Anything silver goes in the fire,” Dean said, setting the rules up for the night’s work of finally getting the hook and putting the spirit down for good.
“Lori’s still at the hospital. We’ll have to break in,” Sam said, shoving his hands in his pockets. He knew where she was, of course, he did. You wanted to kick yourself for the thoughts you kept having and how mean they were for no reason but something about this place and that girl were getting to you.
“All right, take your pick,” Dean offered.
“I’ll take the house.” Of course he would.
“Y/N?” Dean asked, looking at you. You wanted to go with Sam, spend time with him but you knew you would just get pissed off so you decided against it.
“I’ll stay with you,” you said. Dean nodded and Sam walked off, heading towards the house. You started to walk towards the church, away from Sam and Dean.
“Hey,” Dean called out after Sam. You stopped also, looking back at the older Winchester. “Stay out of her underwear drawer.” You rolled your eyes at his comment and when he looked at you to follow, you saw the panic in his face for even saying that out loud but it was brotherly banter and you knew he couldn’t help himself but to tease Sam. You wonder if there was something Dean knew that you didn’t, but you were paranoid.

Authority || Alison and Rachel
Who: Rachel Berry and Alison Fabray
What: Rachel and Alison rehearse their song together and talk a lot about Law and Order SVU
When: September 13th
Where: Rehearsal Hall
Notes: Mentions of SVU
Alison: had finished getting ready to rehearse with Rachel. Musicals weren't something she had done in a while and with everyone else being as talented as they were she was very nervous. Especially with Rachel, but they had a song together and Alison was excited to sing with her. And it might be a stress reliever for Rachel, she did just find out she had a twin she never knew about. Which was pretty exciting, to Alison at least. She left her room and went to the rehearsal hall where she agreed to meet Rachel.
Rachel: was pacing the front door of the rehearsal hall, waiting on Alison. She seemed like a nice enough girl, more welcoming to her then her older sister. They shared a song together in the musical and Rachel figured it would be a nice way to get to know one another- and to make sure their performance is absolutely perfect. When she sees the small blonde approach she stops the pacing induced by the stress shaking her to the core and she manages a smile. "Hi! Did you have a fun weekend?" She raises an eyebrow before turning to open the door to let them inside. "We have the room on the right." She tells her pointing with the hand she was holding the key in.
Alison: smiled at Rachel when she got there. "Hey! I did, made more money this weekend and hung out with friends." When Rachel opened the door and told the blonde what room they had she immediately started walking to it. Rachel seemed nice, different from the few amount of girls she used to hang out with but it was a nice difference. Alison knew she was different from when she was in high school, more into partying and drugs and alcohol but since no one but her sister knew what kind of person she was then she'll try to be as nice to the other Ashwood students as she can.
Rachel: "That's always a good thing I'd say. One of your odd jobs then?" Rachel recalls her saying she'd work whatever came to her so she figured she was pretty versatile. "I kind of want to start walking dogs around New York but I'm not sure if I have the time or not." Rachel says with a laugh, unlocking the door to the room they would be occupying. "I really did mean what I said about you being like Olivia Benson. I know she isn't CSI but she's a pretty good fictional detective. My favorite on tv if I'm being honest." She takes her bag off her arm to pull out the sheet music to their song and her script. She'd slowly come to terms with her role and she thinks she'll end up really enjoying it all.
Alison: nodded, "Yep." It was a lie, her weekend money came from the same place all of her money comes from. Her gang. "Yeah walking dogs takes a lot of time, it is kinda fun though." Now that wasn't a lie. She went in their rehearsal room when the brunette unlocked the door and smiled hearing Rachel bring up the compliment from the day before. "And I really did mean it's the best thing anyone's ever said to me. Olivia Benson is awesome." She got her script out for the song, she's been practicing her parts by herself whenever Savannah isn't in their room so aside from the actual rehearsals this would be the first time she's playing Morticia against someone else.
Rachel: "I just love animals a lot and it would give me more of a reason to be around them. I don't have a reason to have an animal on campus and I'm sure the people who have them will get sick of me bugging them all the time to come visit." Rachel says with a laugh, though she hopes Mason never gets sick of her. She likes him a lot and she's already in love with his cat, madly so in fact. "I'm glad I could give you such a lovely compliment then. I actually had to stop watching SVU once I moved it, it made me far too paranoid." She laughs, "I guess we should probably go through our lines first and I found an instrumental version of our song which will be good enough to rehearse with for now I'd think."
Alison: "Animals are great. I can't get a pet though, even when I do end up getting my own place. I'd be way too busy to be able to actually take care of one." Alison would love a pet in theory, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea. "Oh really?" She said after learning Rachel stopped watching SVU after moving, "I've seen it all, probably watched it more after I moved." She nodded, ready to start rehearsing with Rachel. "Awesome."
Rachel: "That's extremely responsible of you though!" Rachel applauds, smiling. "There are so many owners who end up neglecting their animals even if it is unintentional because they just don't have the time for them. If I ever have animals of my own you will be more than welcome to snuggle them." She knows it won't be for a very long time from now but if they still know each other she can't see why she wouldn't allow Alison to bond with her pets. "Yeah, I've definitely seen all the episodes. I think my favorites were with John Stamos and the one with Robin Williams." Not that the girl had asked but those episodes always spoke to her and John Stamos was pretty hot, so it was easy to remember anything to do with him. She takes a peak at her script one last time as they run through their scene, Rachel pressing play on the instrumental recording she'd found, when Alison is meant to start singing. She had to give her props, she was a convincing Morticia and had a lovely voice.
Alison: laughed at Rachel applauding, sure it may be responsible but still boring to her. "I will definitely keep you to that Rachel." And she intended to, if they still knew each other and Alison wasn't arrested or something. But she wants to try still being friends with Rachel, she was nice and surprisingly not irritating. Actually Alison is surprised by how many people she actually likes at Ashwood, college really is different from high school it seem. Here she actually doesn't hate a majority of the people she interacts with. "John Stamos and Robin Williams are amazing. I had to have seen their episodes at least 50 times." Really she's seen anything with John Stamos and Robin Williams at least 50 times. They are definitely at the top of her list for favorite actors. Alison was pretty happy with how this run through had started, she did mess up on one line but kept it going. She was pretty impressed with Rachel, though she always knew Rachel was good at singing and acting she was a very good Alice and her voice was amazing.
Rachel: "Maybe I could get over my irrational fear of getting assaulted in New York and we could watch their episodes? As a refresher and to see their faces? Robin Williams is surely missed. He contributed so much to the acting world especially with his comedy and voice acting." She remembers Mrs. Doubtfire fondly and in his episode of SVU he also did voices. Rachel thinks they go through the scene, decently for the first time doing it, but they could do better. "What do you think about running through it one more time?" She raises an eyebrow, looking back to her script again to make sure she jumps into the song at the right time.
Alison: "That sounds like tons of fun. It'd be an honor to help you get over your fear of getting assaulted in New York." She fully agreed with Robin Williams being missed, she loves pretty much everything he was in and was pretty crushed when he died. Alison nodded, "Yeah sounds great." She wanted the performance to go perfectly, so she's perfectly fine with running through this more, plus it's a fun song to sing.
Rachel: "Really?" Rachel laughs, it's kind of silly, but the show had a lot of truths in it. New York is much different than Ohio, but she wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here. "I think it would be a fun thing to do and an opportunity to hang out, outside of the show." She shrugs her shoulders, happy for the distraction the rehearsing is providing. They go over it again, the second time going more smoothly than the first she thinks.
Alison: "Of course! Besides it's an excuse for me to watch it again so I'll take it." Alison smiled, she wasn't as worried about the truths of the show as she probably should be but oh well. It was New York, where Alison wanted to live her whole life so she'll take the bad possibilities. "It would be fun, and I love an opportunity to hang out with friends. If you consider us friends that is." Going over it a second time was much smoother than the first, meaning Alison didn't mess up on one of her lines this time.
Rachel: grins, happy at the prospect of having someone new to hang out with. Sure she had a lot of friends, a lot of people she loved, but she didn't have many girl friends and it took a toll on her sometimes. There's only so much she can talk about to Blaine and Jeff before it gets uncomfortable for all of them. "I'd like to consider us friends." Rachel says quietly, looking to her with a shrug. She grins when they complete the scene. "That was great. I think they'll be impressed when we go over it on Thursday and are already so familiar with it."

The Umbrella Academy Season 2
Since the second season of The Umbrella Academy is now on Netflix, I have decided to continue my fan fic. The reader is a member of the Umbrella Academy (#8) her powers allow her to become a human fire. Again this is a continuation of the 1st season’s fan fic. based on your perspective.
Season 2 Episode 2: “The Frankel Footage”
Suddenly five appears, he looks at you and smiles. “nice outfit, you look really pretty” he says as you twirl around. So did you get Diego?” you ask him noticing Diego isn’t with him. “no Diego’s a lost cause” he says as he ignores your question and looks at the pictures on the wall. “Elliot did you develop these photos yourself?” he asks. “of course, you cant exactly drop that stuff off at the neighborhood photo mat, the government has eyes everywhere.” says Elliot as he is eating. “I didn’t see a dark room?” asks Five confused. “ah yeah I converted the hallway closet” says Elliot. “can you develop this?” asks Five as he is handing Elliot a small orange box. “Frankel footage, friends of yours?” asks Elliot as he is looking at the box. “cousins on my robot mother’s side, can you do it or not?” he asks. “sure i can” says Elliot. “how long?” asks Five “well, I mean I’m running low on acidic acid, and Beekers cameras is open today but it’s two miles away, and i’ll have to take the bus, in the other hand Gibson’s is only 10 blocks away but I gotta cut through the park and there is this other breed of pigeons” says Elliot lost in his own thoughts. “Elliot?” you question. “it’s like five or six hours” he says noticing that Five is losing patience. Suddenly the police radio begins to play. “what the hell is a code 315?” asks Five confused. “hmm, fugitives on the run” says Elliot with a mouth full of food. You quickly get up from the couch as Five is turning up the volume on the police scanner. “oh Diego” says Five disappointed. “who’s Diego?” asks Elliot. “Imagine Batman but aim lower, you get started on that film we will be back as soon as we can, ready?” he asks you and you nod following him out.
He zaps you both inside a car with a Diego and a women. “Then why are you doing this?” she asks him. “because he is an idiot” says Five sounding pissed. “who the hell are you?” asks the women shocked to see you both in the back seat. “Hi I’m his loving brother” says Five with a smirk. “who left me to rot in a nut house” says Diego finally turning around to see you two his expression quickly changed once his eyes meet yours. “to protect you from yourself” adds Five. “that’s quite sweet” says the lady as she looks at Five. “okay everyone out” says Diego offended. “lose the crazy lady, and come with us we have important business” you say to Diego. “I am not going anywhere with you” says Diego looking at Five. “okay fine” says Five as he spots a police officer, he gets his face out the window and calls for the officer. “hey, what are you doing?” says Diego pulling Five back into the car. “I hear there is a reward out for you two.” says Five threatening Diego. “hes bluffing” says the girl as Him and Five are having a stare down. “he’s not, fine ill go with you” says Diego finally giving into his demands. “what about me?” asks the girl. “And I’m bringing the crazy lady” adds Diego looking at you and Five. You look at Five uneasy about bringing the lady along with us. You could tell he wasn’t thrilled with it either.
Once we are back at Elliot’s place, Elliot approaches us with a rifle. “where did you get the film? the Frankel footage? the truth this time” he asks while he is slowly walking towards us. “Do you know this lunatic?” asks Diego while looking at Elliot. “an acquaintance he’s harmless” says Five. “are you sure about that?” asks the girl looking at Elliot a bit scared. “Are you or are you not an enemy of the people?” asks Elliot while holding the gun at you four. Diego and Five begin to sarcastically answers the question. “You move one more muscle and I will blow your brains out” threatens Elliot. “You wanna take this or should I?” Diego asks Five. “No i got him.” says Five. “to late” you say as you’ve already taken the gun from Elliot and tossing it to Diego, he quickly takes the gun apart. “what the hell just happened?” asks the girl confused. Five ties him up and sits him on a chair as you all gather around to see the footage that Elliot had developed. The video was of an old married couple. “They are so cute I love old couples I’m so proud of them for not murdering each other” she says as she is painting Elliot’s toe nails a gross green you simply roll your eyes at her comment. “ why are we watching this?” asks Diego bored. “ssh” says Five, eyes glued to the video. The old man on the video begins to talk into the camera. “I’m Dan Frankel and we are in Dallas Texas to see the president, today’s date is November 22nd 1963″ says the older man. “That’s six days from now” says the girl as she looks at the video confused. “holy shit this is it, the Grassy Noll, Kennedy is about to get shot, how do you have this?” asks Diego suspiciously. “Hazel died to get me this footage, must be the key to stopping dooms day” says Five. “wait Hazel died?” you asks him confused. “long story” says Five not wanting to go into details. “what is dooms day?” asks the girl. “longer story” says Five again not wanting to go into details. “What exactly did he say to you?” questions Diego. “Well he was killed before he could explain, but whatever he wanted us to see, is on this film.” says Five as he is still looking at the video. “Oswald” says Diego as the gunshots are heard from the film. “wait go back” you instruct Five as you spot a familiar figure on the screen. Five does as instructed. “ This can’t be” says five as moves towards the screen. “are you going to fill me in now boys, what the hell is this shit we are watching?” asks the girl paranoid by the video. You Five and Diego move closer to the screen to take a better look at the man with the black umbrella. “that’s impossible” says Diego. “clearly it’s not” says Five equally as surprised. “who is it?” says Elliot through the gag. “dad” you three say in unison.
“I’ll be the first to admit this doesn’t look good” you say as Five is pacing back and forth. “of course dad was involved in the assassination, I should’ve known” says Diego to himself. “ah no your jumping to conclusions.” says Five “Then what the hell else he do standing in the grassy noll, holding an open back umbrella, on a sunny day in Dallas the exact same moment the president gets shot” says Diego a bit hostile. “it doesn’t look good, I admit” says Five trying to calm Diego down. “ No, he’s the signalman for the whole goddamn thing” says Diego sounding like a crazy conspiracy theory fanatic. “easy Diego, seriously” says Five trying to put a stop to this nonsense. “no it all makes sense, this is what Hazel was obviously trying to tell you. We have to stop dad from killing the president” says Diego with wide eyes. “ah Diego calm down” you say rolling your eyes at his comment. “Alright, Dad was no boy scout but presidential assassination? It’s never been his thing” adds Five. “how would you know? how would any of you know? You both skipped out on his golden years.” says Diego. You stand up knowing exactly where this was headed. skipped out? You think I had it easy Diego? I was alone for 45 years.” says Five angrily. “ you know what we don’t have time for this right now can you two cool it?” you say standing in between them both. Five steps back while saying, “dads clearly in Dallas right? let’s just go talk to him, maybe he can help us fix the time line.” he suggest. “Dallas is a big place, we need to find him first” says Diego. “Gee, if only we had some magical, old timey way of finding people and their addresses. “ah phone book” you say as you place the phone book on the table for them to look through. Diego lightly shoves you out of the way. “let’s start simple, his name.” says Five as Diego is looking through the book. “Hargreeves, Hargreeves, Hargreeves” he whispers while looking. “shit nothing here” he says coming up empty. “Try his company, D.S. Umbrella Manufacturing Co.” suggest Five while looking over Diego’s shoulder. “Yeah I know the name.. thanks” says Diego sarcastically as he flips the pages of the phone book. “holy shit, D.S Umbrella, 82 Olive lets go” says Diego once he’s found the address.
“He okay to leave here like that?” questions Diego. “yeah he’s fine, what about the girl?” asks Five in return. “shit” says Diego realizing the girl is missing. “couldn’t we just leave her somewhere?” you ask but Diego ignores your comment and leaves to look for her. Once he comes back the three of you make your way towards your father’s company building. “Alright this is it” says Five once you arrive. “D.S Umbrella, this is it” says Diego looking around. “lets go” you say as you begin to walk up to the door. They follow closely behind, when suddenly five stops. “you okay?” asks Diego. “yeah fine, just..” says Five with a sigh he looked nervous to say the least. “ How long has it been since you’ve seen the old man?” asks Diego noticing the hesitation from Five. “45 years” says Five. “That’s a trip” says Diego as he begins to pick the lock on the door. “no kidding... you know when I was stuck out there in the apocalypse, there wasn’t a day that went by where I didn’t hear his voice in my head.” says Five. “What was he saying?” you ask curious to hear his answer. “I told you so” says Five. “Well, if dad’s here, hes never met you before, so he can’t say I told you so” adds Diego trying to console Five. “I’m sure he’ll find a way.” says Five before zapping into the other side of the door and unlocking it for us. “right, gotta remember that” says Diego a bit annoyed. “okay just go” you say shoving him inside the building. Once inside you begin to walk through the dark hallways until you come across a little lobby/ waiting room. Five turns on the a lamp that unfortunately turns off almost immediately, “shit” says Five. “Guess dad wasn’t much for home decor” adds Diego. “feels more like a front” says Five as he punches a couch. “a front for what exactly?” you question looking around. “I don’t know.” says Five concerned. “well I’ll take the left, yell if you uh get in trouble” says Diego before leaving you and Five alone. Five opens the door on the right side and allows you to walk inside first. You walk in trying to open various doors until you both come across a room filled with mannequins. You look at five for some sort of answer. “what is he up to?” he asks himself, when the lights suddenly turn off. “Not good” you say worried. You both continue onto another room. Five begins to look through the files on the table. Five finds an envelope. “What’s that?” you ask curiously. “It’s an invitation to a gala.” he answers as he shoves it inside his coat pocket. You both suddenly hear clattering behind you, “shit what’s that?” you ask as you prepare for anything.Five begins to walk towards the sound. Out of the darkness a cute little baby Pogo comes into view. “Pogo?” you hear five question as he approaches the little chimp. “Pogo it’s good to see you” says Five as he is about to pet Pogo, the chimp becomes hostile and scratches Five’s neck before jumping out the window into the dark city streets. “ Five, bro you okay?” you ask him worried. “Diego!” yells Five as you help him up from the ground. “Diego!” you call out as well worried for Five as blood gushes down his neck.
