I like the thought of a deaged Dan causing a misunderstanding between Danny, Vlad, and the batfam.

TW: sexual assault hinted at

Danny, Dan, and Ellie go to see Jazz in Gotham. They've been waiting to "visit" her for weeks since she moved out. Only waiting for her to get a big enough place for all of them. Danny already said he'd share a room with Ellie and Dan, especially now that they found out if she is her true age she'll start to stabilize more permanently with Danny's ecto. Plus, having Dan be the same size helps, or so she says (he might be desperate for a new family and Ellie is trying to help, Danny and Jazz never bring it up in front of him).

The Fenton parents don't know about Danny being Phantom, instead believing that some big ghostly event caused Danny to have a ghost daughter.

And that he tried to clone himself mixed with a ghost to use that body to stabilize her. They may be proud of their scientist son, they are not proud that he won't let them experiment on his ghostly "creations".

Of course they are entirely wrong:

Ellie is one of Vlads' attempts to clone him, the only one that survived.

And Dan is an amalgamation of Danny and Vlad from an alternate timeline. He doesn't know why he's keeping that from his parents. He owes nothing to that scumbag, but Jazz says many victims try to keep their abusers safe from facing consequences. Before Dan was deaged, and much before he met the Fenton parents, he'd pointed out that he'd be scared who his parents would have chosen to believe too.

Jazz gets a full ride scholarship with Gotham U, the Wayne's new massive donation to the psychology department, as well as her well written letter about being the head of her home, helped immensely.

She felt bad using a slightly blurred version of their story to get a good scholarship, but Danny pushed her to go for it.

Hence her, Danny and his 3 year old "twins" were at a gala for the university.

It was being held in the museum after closing hours. The invitation she got had specified that her brother was invited, each with a plus one.

They couldn't exactly get a babysitter for two super-powered toddlers in the city known for hating metas. Besides it wasn't like they had time to get dates anyway.

The night started out fine. There were scholarship students, student council members, some Gotham U staff, and a few rich folk mingling and eating tiny foods that both Ellie and Dan adored.

Ellie fell asleep in Danny's arms almost the second she'd finished eating, and Dan was overly protective of the both of them as always. Of course the dense crowd and constant noise wasn't helping calm him down.

A Wayne, he wasn't sure which one exactly, had brought Danny a plate of food and sat with him as he tried to distract Dan. At first Dan didn't care for him at all, but he mentioned reading about the constellation on Dan's shirt and he loosened up. He never let go of Danny's pant leg though.

The night turned sour when all three's ghost sense went off. There was no immediate threat, but even the Wayne kid noticed them tense and turned to the hallway.

Dan was the first to spot him. "Vad."

"Bad?" The man mimicked.

"He has trouble with his Ls."

"No! I can say Ellie." Dan huffed, poking the side of her sparkly green shoe.

"Vlad, the guy that walked in." Danny said, decidedly looking down into his daughter's sleeping face, squished into his shirt and drooling.

"Vladimir Masters?"

He nodded, before he could continue however Dan spoke up.

"He is bad. He's the reason I was born. And Ellie too." Dan put himself in front of Danny, his little legs going over Danny's feet like a guard dog.

He could see the Wayne's hands tighten into fists, he tapped the inside of his wrist a bit and watched as he squirmed in his seat.

"Hey, Tim." Another dark haired light eyed Wayne and a girl came up to them. "Who's this?"

"Danny, these are my sibilings. Dick and Cass. Guys, this is Danny."

"Hi, nice to meet you Danny. I'd shake your hand but it looks busy." He gestured towards Ellie. As his hand swept nearer, Dan tried to swipe it away. "Oh, and who's this."

"I'm Dan. You can't touch Mommy." His little face contorted into his best toddler attempt at scaring them off.

"I would never do that. No one here would." Dick said as he crouched down to be eye level with his son.

"He would." Dan pointed at Vlad, all three turned to look at the man. Before anyone else noticed, specifically Vlad himself, Danny pushed his arm down.

"Don't point, it's rude."

"He's a rude butt." Danny laughed softly and Dan continued. "It doesn't mater that I'm half of him, I'll never be evil like him." He yawned and laid his face on Danny's leg.

"I think that's enough signs that we should head home. Thank you for talking with me, Tim."

"No problem, it was m-"

Dan grabbed around Danny's legs and whined "I don't wanna gooOOOooo. I want more of the tiny hot dogs."

Danny looked up to see Vlad infront of the food table. The Wayne sibilings followed his gaze "I'm sorry buddy, but-"

Tim stood up, "I'll get you guys a whole mountain of the tiny hot dogs. Why don't you guys wait for me at the door." Ever so softly he heard Tim whisper, "Go with them." To his brother.

"Where are your things? I'll help you get ready." Dick looked around like he didn't know where the coat closet was. He'd probably been to events like this hundreds of times, but Danny appreciated the sentiment.

"Their stroller is at the entrance, I have to get my sister though."

The girl who hadn't said a word hummed and went off, "Cass can find her, I'll help you and we can meet at the entrance."

"Alright, thank you."

It wasn't until they had both kids in the stroller with their coats on and Dan had a bottle of milk (with a lot of ectoplasm in it) that Danny realized he'd never mentioned who his sister was.

Dick waved towrds the end of the hall and saw his sister and the two Waynes he'd met walking with Brucie Wayne himself.

Jazz looked down and pat Cass' hand. "Thank you for getting me."

"Danger." Her voice was soft, but she didn't seem shy like he had expected.

"All four of you seemed to get along well with my kids. Would you like to come by for dinner next week?" Brucie asked as he looked between the four of them.

"I'd love to!" Jazz said enthusiastically. "Would Tuesday ight work?"

Danny could see the gears start to speed up in her head and he huffed a little. "Jazz, I need to get them in bed."

"Right, of course. Thank you again, for everything."

"Tuesday night works perfectly," Brucie Wayne said with a massive smile on his face, "we'll send someone to pick you up. Have a good night."

With that they walked down the ramp and down a few blocks to their two bed room apartment.

"Jazz," She looked over to Danny, "I think they know more than they are letting on."

She lent over the stroller a bit to check if the kids were asleep, before adding, "I agree, I think there is something up with them, but I don't think they're bad."

"Dan was okay with them mostly, and Ellie was fast asleep even with then around."

"I guess we'll just have to find out, then. Besides, it would be good for you to make friends your age and not at the car shop."

"Yeah, alright."

Ngl the episode with Dani's return in Danny Phantom really makes me more annoyed that A Glitch In Time really went and tried to redeem Vlad.

#and dark danny #but like mainly annoyed with vlad #cause throughout the show hes your standard evil villain #whose obsessed with maddie who he cannot have #and then danny who he also cannot have #he basically does alot of evil shit #and the whole finale is him going beyond redemption #but when it comes to dani you got him cloning danny constantly until he does finally get dani #but instead of just focusing on creating a family with her #he still obsesses over danny #and basically is fine with the idea of disgarding her if he succeeds at cloning danny #and literally was fine with telling her to overshadow danny #despite knowing it would kill her and she obviously doesnt want to die #and in her return episode basically wants her captured so he can disect her and make a perfect clone #and dont care about her even when shes dying basically #hell in this episode we see she has trauma from her debut episode #having to reassure herself vlad isnt here #like how the fuck did the book think vlad was redeemable again #no wonder dani didnt appear in the book #the book would either be barf inducing with forcing her to forgive him or...actually thats it #it'd be bad #and dont get me started on trying to redeem dark danny #just...why the fuck did the villains need redeeming in this book...

I have an idea from Ask, how about a Reader who has strong anxiety, but ironically that's their power, so when they get anxious they start to act faster and start to create clones ,then when they reach the "Maximum Level" of anxiety they explode and deal massive damage EVERYTHING AROUND. So everyone on the express tries to keep them calm in stressful situations (bonus if Reader just asks for a hug to calm down)

So basically there a self exploading bomb on board? Well thats normal here. I mean if you ever make clones of yourself and now there are multiple self exploading bombs on board (Pom pom is scared but frustrated at the same its pom pom's job to be the conductor and make sure the passengers are safe and all but pom pom still allows you since you asked to, but pom pom doesnt like when you're about to self destruct)

At first, they wondered why there are clones of you everywhere around the express

It took a while you actually find you since well, you were basically making clones left and right

You were found at last, biting your nails or fidgetting with your hair with your finger

They asked whats wrong and you explained your problem and how you just needed a hug, they did give you one. A big bear hug for youuu!!! <3

They give a souvenir from one of their trailblazing trips

DAN HENG

He would try his best not to technically make you nervous, his calming voice helps

Actually hes just doing this so the whole train doesnt expload and people dying. He knows when you reach full level of anxiety you just, well you might just burst a whole planet in to pieces if you want to actually.

Gets kunda frustrated trying to find you in the sea of your clones, surely theyll disappear once you calm down? (Yeah)

Gives you some tries to give semi-comforting words (it ends getting weird) but still helps

He doesn't know if he wants to give hugs but he'll just give you a pat on the back

MARCH 7TH

She freaked out of excitement and confusion and worry. You cant really tell which one weights more

Takes silly pictures with your clones if she ever finds one

Shows it to you afterwards to make you smile

Will also give you souvenirs from her trips as well! Mostly cute things

She'll definitely try to be comforting, but it ended becoming drastically funny

She explain how your clones are so dead and soulless like Dan heng or how Dan heng— okay yeah #danhengslander

She gives a big big BIG hug for you since you asked!

Comforts the reader by making coffee/your favorite drink

Says comforting words how everythings going to be okay and all

If you asked to hug her, of course she'll allow it. A big huggg and now she can't let go

So the thing is I wasn’t going to comment on the sixth episode. I just got home from a hella good play and I’m tired so I relax with Star Trek but holy shit

With that HELLO and welcome to my first thoughts on the sixth episode (The Enemy Within) of the original Star Trek series

Here we go:

- I like the fact it’s told a bit in retrospect, like it starts off with the star date and saying that at the time they didn’t know he got cloned

- MCCOY! His friendliness and then the “I have no sympathy for clumsiness” bro wha

- DONT YELL AT MCCOY

- McCoy not knowing what to do about Jim so he goes to Spock lol

- what the fuck is that fuckin thing, it’s rabid man.

- anytime someone is holding the creature there is literally no reason for them to be holding it. Like Kirk is just holding it and then HANDS IT TO SPOCK.. WHY IS THIS NORMAL NOW

- so do people casually just sit on tables here? First we had McCoy, now Spock. Is it just science/medical officers?

- Vulcan nerve pinch for the win

- POV your boyfriends are deeply concerned for your wellbeing (side note: bones looks so soft in the first pic. He cares so much)

- “you have a point, Spock.” “Yes. Always, doctor” STOP FLIRTING

- so I think what they’re trying to promote is the idea that there’s the kind and indecisive side and the animalistic “sinful” side that has all the impulses and power to make decisions and together they work so that the former side can calm the latter to be more… civilized?

- “god forbid I have to agree with Spock” they’re married and you cannot convince me otherwise

- was that dog okay? Like it was really fuckin angry at something

- HES DEAD JIM MOMENT! WE HAVE A HES DEAD JIM MOMENT

- “for once I agree with you, doctor” THEY ARE MARRIED

- Spock is so riled up rn (every time he shows emotion I’m commenting on it because I think he is so so emotional but then his whole thing is he isn’t)

- SPOCK YOUR LOGIC ISNT LOGICING (having a human half and Vulcan half I think is a bit different than literally being split into two people, but what do I know)

- they are literally the angel and devil on his shoulder, but married, and also in love with him

- what no no bring Sulu back. That was such a good delivery of lines I am so

- this episode shows the power imbalance between Kirk and Janice and that messaging could be more powerful if they really wanted. Like showing how Janice felt forced to say she was okay with it and wouldn’t tell anyone because it was the captain I feel was a big step to take in the 60s (because it was rarely if ever talked about especially on tv) but it still wasn’t enough and was treated horribly in the end. They brush off her experience and also let Kirk be near her which is not okay. I know they wouldn’t but I wish they’d actually addressed the fact that Kirk can pretty much get away with anything and the crew wouldn’t/couldn’t stop him unless they deem it truly necessary (which would be way to far)

- I think the Kirk stuff could be more impactful

- some of those close ups on Kirk are crazy

- Bones is so damn worried about him in the transporter room

- SPOCK IS STRESSED AND HE HESITATES

- “the imposters back where he belongs, forget him” but isn’t the thing is that he is you? Like he’s still there and apart of you, Kirk

Okay, that’s episode six. I don’t have much more to say about this episode.

Ben Drowned

Yeah, Ben would be blushy and all submissive becasue of your personality and the way you live your life! Like okay, it can be a lot but not necesserly in the bad way. I feel like he would also flirt back, he is head over heels when he sees you and its just so hard for him not to simp for you... Ben doesnt have many braincless yet they are all horny. You dont even have to manipulate him, he would do literally anything for you - he is on his knees barking and meowing. Ben has huge sex drive anyway, so its not like he will complain. Isnt bothered by drinking alcohol or other drugs, Ben is pretty cool to do all that with him. You being you is perfect for Ben, could he even been happier? Nina the killer

Okay, its not too complicated - you would absolutely get a long with Nina!! Like she is just walking energetic ray of sunshine?? You can be annoyed by that, but there are many similar aspects when it comes to your personality - even tho its not always shown in the same way. Nina of course has her vulgar side, I mean, she is a killer after all..?? And a huge gosspier, she just loves causing chaos!! I also feel like Nina would be your fangirl, loves having popular partner and loves that they are all to her! Nina is such a huge flirt too, she is very confident of her way of being and her body. She doesnt say no to a party too, so you wont be bored with her.

Eyeless Jack

Jack would be actually the one to try stop you from drinking? And the one who would be pretty concern with your way of life? Dont get me wrong, he does like you but come on.. its not like your life style is healthy and perfectly normal, but who is he to judge? Whatever makes you happy! Propably one of not so many things that makes you both similar is being demon kind of stuff? Uranishi: Ishimaki's Mother, works in a theatre, known as the "Mask demon" Due to the endless mask she pulls out. Can change each time she wears a mask that represent japanese Spiritual beings. Also Karaku's soulmate :>

Mokushiroku: A deteoriated demon who lives in a small kotoribako box which inside is a pocket dimension. He likes to torment and torture his own demons. some for the hell off it.. Good friends with Urogi due to him being "Less Boring."

Mahiro: Another Hantengu clone Oc Representing "Numb" A quiet isolated demon who doesn't feel pain and emotion when it comes to hunting. though he would slowly show a smile or a hint of anger.

does anybody else get Really sad when you think about the overarching plot of clone high cause i do. like. the show is so good at getting you genuinely invested in the characters and relationships, even when people only get into it like ironically, for the memes, only in it for the humour of the show and stuff, they always end up getting actually hooked on what happens with the characters, but the thing is it straight up does not matter. none of them are meant to have normal happy lives and they won’t. they weren’t born to be people they were born for the sake of being weapons and tools. and no matter how much they love eachother it won’t actually matter in the end because they aren’t supposed to. like have you ever thought about how despite everything they’re all just kids,, and the thing is scudworth isnt any better. he’s supposed to be the one who monitors them and conditions them but he cares about them as if they’re his own children. when he learned they would be taken away from him he froze them and even then he kept the school going with more of them than was ever planned. and its why i appreciate candide so much as a character, in Season 1 the board of shadowy figures were stern and apathetic but they were distant and only ever communicated with scudworth, but candide has not just as much as power and influence as scudworth but even more. and she may care as well but the difference with her is she’s actually trying to get the job done and for the first time we have an active looming threat for the clones that could just end everything at any moment. the point is i just Love how the show really makes it feel like all the drama and stuff matters but the reality is it can and will be ripped away immediately because the clones aren’t meant to have normal lives and they don’t even know it

Daddy's Home

It had been a while since he’d seen you. The visits that did happened were too far in between an denver scheduled. Sometimes he slept over, sometimes you went months without a word. 

Thats just how you and suguru were.

The life he lived, he couldnt afford to be tied down.

But here he was, after a year without a word or appearance, on your stoop.

But…things were different this time, you werent the same laid-back, clingy girl from before…

You now stood before him stern and arms-crossed. You were a mother, evidence being the that there was a little girl playing in a play pen that suspiciously looked a lot like suguru. 

“Leave” you hiss at the tall man that was standing at your door. He didnt call to let you know he was back or even how long he was back. You crossed your arms and frowned “you have no right showing back up here Geto. its been months…hell a whole year! “

He said nothing as he leaned against the railing with his hands in his pockets. He cocked his head and sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose “you know how it can be with missions…” 

He took a step towards you and tried to butter you up, going to caress your cheek.

You snatched your face away from him, stepping back for space “I do know how missions are but you have not once contacted me in months…you even stop coming around…” you looked off to the side, a bit angry at yourself for even allowing him to be anywhere near you after pulling a stunt like this. “I think you should go, you have clearly more important things to do than come around and check on me”  

You went to step back inside when he grabbed your arm and turned you around, giving a slight smirk “oh c’mon whats got you in a twist? This isnt how you usually greet me…?” the smug look on his face fell when his eyes looked over your shoulder and caught sight of a child babbling in a play pen. You tensed up as you felt the weight of his hand loosen and he made a move to step inside the house. You pushed up against him to make him pause and look back at you.  He had a look of shock in his eyes, even if his face remained blank, and who wouldnt if your casual partner now suddenly had a child right?

“Suguru…” he gently pushed past you approach the child. The little girl looked to be one year old, she didnt look too much like you except for her eyes. Which means she took after her father…she favored him. She was chewing on a toy and bouncing to whatever was playing on another. Suguru looked at you as you slowly walked up to the play pen “so, there is something that you never told me huh?” 

You plucked the soft toy out of the baby’s mouth and replaced it with a teething ring and gave a soft smile when she gave you a gummy smile in return, before sighing at geto “you weren’t around so i did not see the need to” you see him regarding the little girl closely. He rubbed one of her chubby cheeks with a finger and smiled softly when she cooed in response.

You fidgeted with your hands out of habit. You had fell pregnant during one of his last visits before he disappeared. That was a damn near a year ago. “Shes one. He name is Niko.”

Suguru seemed to process the information you gave him and frowned “Niko… then why didnt you tell me you were pregnant? I wouldnt have stayed away as long as I was”

You crossed your arms and it felt like your heart was beating out of your chest. “The last time you were here geto, you left me without a note or even a kiss your ass. So what was I suppose to do?”  you wanted to give him a piece of your mind, you wanted to scream and yell how pissed you were at him for months on end, the countless nights you cried at being abandoned and having to raise his little clone all alone. But you held fast. You werent the same girl from a year ago, you had changed significantly.

Niko seemed to miss the affection she was given and made grabby hands at geto. He chuckled and kneeled over the pen to pick her up. He brushed her wild hair out of her face and tickled at her chin and cheeks, causing her to squeal and push her face in his hair, which she proceed to try to chew. Suguru didnt even seem phased. “Im going to be around more often now…and  i would like to be here for you and our child…at least try to make up for all the time i lost”

You were shocked. You didnt think that geto would want a child, let alone try to help you raise one. You blinked at him speechless and watched as he cooed at the child, nuzzling his nose against hers. “Has she spoken her first words?” he asked curiously. Seemingly to answer his question niko started babbling, she caught sight of you and reached for you “mama!” you cuddled the child to your chest as she squealed and gummed on your clothes.  Now that suguru was here, you could really see how uncanny the resemblance was.  You grumbled internally once again accepting the fact that your child looked nothing like you. 

“I thought that you would have came back before i gave birth but you never did…liar” you trailed off patting niko’s back as she started to yawn. 

Just as he was about to say something a knock sounded at the door. The knob jiggled and opened revealing Gojo holding takeout, what looked to be new toys for Niko, and flowers. 

Suguru’s eyes widened as Gojo entered and kicked off his shoes;  a frown slowly formed on his face. “Oh…Satou hows it…going?” 

You went to help him with the food and toys, silently thanking him for picking up the food, passing Niko to him out of habit. Gojo didnt say anything and you tried to soothe the awkwardness “uh gojo…suguru just got back” you knew that gojo did not like that geto was not around when you were pregnant and seeing him here now was not going to go well.

geto turned his attention back to you. His voice was calm, but there seemed to have a edge to it “what is gojo doing here…he seems comfortable…” 

You stiffened a bit “gojo has been helping me with niko” You saw his eyes narrow slightly as he crossed his arms. “And what does that involve cause from the look of it…hes been playing daddy”  the way he says it imply that something more was happening and he didnt like that another man had been sniffing around you while he was gone.  He didnt like how his child excitingly babbled at gojo. 

“Suguru its not like that…gojo is practically niko’s uncle…megumi is over here all the time” you said putting the toys in the sink to clean them. 

Suguru barely listened to what you said as he watched Gojo bounce Niko, who was grabbing at his face. Gojo blew kisses on the baby’s cheeks and put her back in her pen. 

“Someone had to step up to the plate while you were away, who else was going to help her with the kid” gojo said with a scowl on his brow, he gave a smirk while he wrapped a playful arm around you.

jfk: hes pan. “if theres a hole, theres a goal!” -jfk, probably /hj. he genuinely felt something for joan when they dated, but he knew that she wasnt gonna stay for long. also hes a mullet-haver. sry i dont make the rules!! hes dating abe (im right about this. i am and im not arguing.)

joan: genuinely the only character in the entire show that i think is 100% only into men. i know that might get me into some drama but idc! shes only shown attraction to men!!! but also to counterpoint that, i think he’s genderfluid and doesn’t care about pronouns. she felt something for jfk, but that feeling was Horny. she really only wanted to date jfk for the sex. which, if you look at season 2, is pretty much canon. he has a fat crush on abe, still, but when jfk gets with him, she decides that she’s done with crushes and dating for a while.

abe: hes bisexual. he is and im right! his crush on joan was one of those things where you convince yourself to like someone but in reality you only think of them as a friend. he ACTUALLY has a crush on jfk but he doesnt realize that until joanfk break up (rivals to lovers moment?) after breaking up with cleo after prom, they don’t talk for a bit, but once cleo realizes she’s a lesbian she decides to befriend abe again, and the two of them plus frida form a cute little friend group and they gossip. also abe lets them give him makeovers cuz why not!

cleo: shes a lesbian. she never showed genuine attraction to a man until john dark, and even then, it was because he was actually joan in disguise. she only wanted to date these guys for power and popularity. so when frida enters the picture, cleo isnt sure how to feel. shes confused and weirded out and she doesnt know how to express those feelings. so she flirts. it starts off as a joke, like a “hey shawty bae we’re just besties but i’d kiss you” to an actual genuine crush. also she gets a better mom when shes unfrozen. because she deserves it.

gandhi: hes asexual and bi (fem pref). hes dating marie curie :) theyre cute :)!!! im not counting season 2 as canon for this, so he got unfrozen along with everyone else. he has this whole enemies thing with topher, but he doesnt consider topher his enemy. topher considers gandhi a rival but not the other way around. gandhi thinks topher should chill out a bit, but considers him as a friend.

i might expand on this later actually cuz right now im like burnt out and my brain is fried from staying up till 5am (oops.) anyways i have a BUNCH more if you want them :)

Entrapta, like Catra, has all the foundations for a corruption arc. Pre-existing deviance, a solid motivation for revenge, climbing up the enemy ranks until she is the head boss's left hand, and then gaining powet over Hordak himself. Like many villain scientists she assists and joins with the good guys from time to time.

What makes Entrapta different is that, through all of this, she ISNT a mastermind, morally grey ends justifies the means scientist. She is in fact a complete cinnamon roll who's hurt by what happened but doesn't hold a grudge at all and has joined the villains because they gave her sense of belonging, and a place to foster her love of science. So you have the top dog villain at the start of season 3 when shes finally got power over Hordak, and she's using it to tell him to love himself, to show him that our flaws are what make us beautiful and they shouldn't be masked, especially if we need help. And in season 5 she's not the sneaky ex villain getting a questionable redemption, she's literally leading the front lines in terms of converting people to the Rebellion, pulling one clone of a million clones out from under Prime and immediately being able to connect with him, being the one to tell Prime to his face he will never understand love, wrecking his brainwashing network, her connection with Hordak leading to Prime's death.

It's... so OPPOSITE to Shadow Weaver, who joined the rebellion about the same time Entrapta overtook Catra in the horde and then disappeared. Weaver has the standard "redemption" arc but doesn't learn a damn thing in her life, has no humility, and is constantly fucking with people's heads underneath her silver tongued words, all stuff Entrapta literally cannot do.

So you have this very compassionate pure of heart character influencing the iron cold leader of the villains, and this incredibly manipulative abusive character influencing the leaders of the heroes.

I think it's interested how shera plays so hard with tropes.

Yes! Exactly! One of my favorite parts about Entrapta’s character is that, in seemingly direct contrast to Shadow Weaver who looks, talks, and acts like a fairy tale Disney villain evil witch 24/7, with even her attempted ‘redemption martyr moment’ just piling more mental scars onto her surrogate daughters,  everything that we’re presented with in the first few minutes System Failure gives us the idea that Entrapta is this typical (albeit sweet-toothed) Mad Scientist soon-to-be-if-not-already-villain. She lives in a classically evil scary castle on a mountain, it’s full of traps, secret passageways, and (conveniently timed) robot zombies, and there’s mutants in the sewers apparently?!? Especially since some fans know her old incarnation was a shallow villain, once she finally crawls out of a vent like a goddamn Xenomorph with welding mask eyes glowing with menace the audience thinks they have her character figured out, and then she subverts these expectations by greeting our heroes with a genuine, cheery, hospitable welcome that still acknowledges the immediate danger they’re facing and her direct involvement in it. And ever since then, all she’s wanted to do is help people and do science (and hopefully make friends with people by doing those two things). Even when she learns She Ra’s most direct and effective weakness, even when she’s given the chance to use that weakness *again* after she thinks the BFS and Princess Alliance left her for dead, she still doesn’t take the opportunity to go full "They laughed at my experiments, but now I’ll show them all! Brand New Day! Muahahahaha!” etc etc. Shadow Weaver WISHES she could’ve climbed the evil corporate ladder as fast as Entrapta did, and ironically she accomplished it by doing the exact opposite approach to SW: Being 100% genuine and honest about her opinions, knowledge, and feelings. And Hordak establishes time and time again that he hates dishonesty in his ranks (mostly because he’s not great at subterfuge and trickery himself) and gains valuable knowledge and self-worth from Entrapta’s genuine honesty. I may be forgetting something, but I’m pretty sure the one and only time Entrapta intentionally, consciously lies about something is that bit in System Failure where she find the lab and says “We’re here! Uh, I mean, of course we’re here, we were never lost.” Of course, just because she never even considers taking steps towards actual, conscious Villainy and Vengeance doesn’t mean we can’t think up AUs where she does go down that path a bit.  One concept that I’ve yet to make into a proper fic is an alternate ending to Season 5 in which she has a more active role in usurping Prime, fully disconnecting him from the other Clones before Hordak does the Darth Vader/Emperor reference, then taking over the Velvet Glove’s army of clones, droids, and drones in order to collect data on the flora, fauna, and magic of Etheria before expanding her DC Brainiac style "data collection” to the rest of the newly entered galaxy.

favorite thing about them- He's trying so much! He is not great at it and he was very much Doomed since the beginning and he lost every agency he never had to begin but my god he was Trying! He did not know he was a clone but he felt he that he isnt him and Haggar was still scouting in his head but he was still trying until he couldnt, my god i love him!!

least favorite thing about them- Other than the fact he fucking died??? Kuron babygirl please dont go behind your teams back and dont yell at people, i know you are Going Through It™ but still

Other than- ok. You know how much i love him right? He is one of my favourites and i like him more than Shiro, you know that right? I need you to know and remember that when i say the next part.

Entire clone arc was just not needed. Like you could have had the same effect with Shiro being mind controlled and i personally feel it would have been better. Clone arc just overcomplicated an already messy plot, added even more elements and questions that went absolutely nowhere, left behind a shit load of plot holes, became the final nail in the coffin of Shiro having any possible arc or development, and added a new sympathetic character just to kill him off as a plot device.

And the entire "You are my brother Shiro, i love you" who is it for? Literally who is it for? It would have been much more heart wrenching if it was mind controlled Shiro but we clearly established that is not him. That guy is not Shiro, and Keith as i recall had like 3 on screen conversations with him, 2 of them being strained and then Keith just fucks off with the Blades for most of 3 seasons. It is not for Kuron cause narrative is insistent that he is ~evil~ tool and later on they use his body to get Shiro back. So like, who is it for? Other than to show how sad and angsty and great and amazing writers pet Keith is of course but that is the whole goddamn show.

Like i love him and he did not deserve any of That and i am going to keep making up aus where he lives but the entire pointlessness of clone arc angers me so much

so, i think it's agreeable of me to say that Cake handing someone else her baby is a very significant thing to her because there isnt anything she cares more about than her child, so her giving that baby to someone else shows that she trusts whoever she's handing her baby to a LOT. But, it's also unique to her because there are clones who probably aren't nearly as concerned with their kids' wellbeing as Cake is with hers. (sorry im sending a lot of asks about cake, its just she's the one i can illustrate this point with the best (⊼⌔⊼ ))

With that being said, would, let's say, BB actively approaching someone to give them a hug hold a significance alike to Cake letting someone hold her child? Would Eglantine allowing someone to pat her head mean something similar? That's what im wondering basically ＼(´ ∇`)ノ

Minerus Power Sucks and Here's what i think they should have done instead

First off. Using the other quests as precedent i was really expecting Paya to be the Sage of Spirit (i know others expected Purah). They started the quest building her imporatance ip a bit... then just. Ditched her.

Dont get me wrong the dragon islands were cool and all but like. You had a companion for all the other quests and for this one you dont.

You really only get Mineru for a slow trudge through the depths and a really bad boss battle. Her mech is clunky and slow, and for some reason all the damage you sustain on her transfers directly to you? You cant even jump off and get a good boost to your jump! People have BUILT better working mechs in the game!

What's more- its a mech. She's the sage of Spirit and doesnt use SPIRIT powers! The other sages spirits can already talk to you from beyond the grave but the only thing she can do past that is possess stuff? Its laughable how little she can do compared to other sages.

Anyway. Heres what I'd do:

Give her power to a Shiekah. They really got shafted in TOTK and this power would really be appropriate for them considering the Shiekahs roles in other games (ya i know impa was the sage of shadow but the sage of spirit here is purple so. Idk)

The Shiekah do fight with magic in AOC. They have weapons. They can fight and whether its Paya or Purah both can help.

Impa has a variety of attacks that involve clones of herself or other things. This could be a good power for your shiekah companion. Alternatively, both Shiekah and yiga have illusion powers that can disorient monsters. Being able to disorient or possibly even have limited control of monsters could be kickass.

Mineru can still be an active guide in this quest, but in the end have her entrust her stone to someone else. Have her recognize your companion as a worthy friend and warrior and magic user and let her trust this legacy to someone new

This is more optional/doesnt really fit with the Vibe Nintendo was going for but why not make the spirit temple a little scarier? Like. Shes the sage of spirit but her temple wasnt any more unique than all the other Zonai stuff in the depths. Theres Zonai tech in every part of the game, and all the other temples had something unique to them. Even if the spirit temple isnt on Shadow temple levels (to show there was a little something the Zonai were hiding), make it a little more fitting to the theme.

Even if you dont do any of this, though... at least give the Mineru mech a different health bar. Other games can do this its not that hard.

Ahsoka

1.) How did she find her Kyber crystal(s)?

So the first time she had to have had gone with her creche led by Yoda I imagine. I think the Illum cave would only show her the Kyber after she learned to slow down and not let her anxieties rush her. I say this because this is a consistent issue for early seasons Ahsoka where she is very impulsive.

For her second Kyber crystal, she had to have gone to Illum with Anakin. I think Ahsoka did not expect to need another crystal because I feel like it was Anakin's observation as a teacher that she was best suited to Jar Kai (dual wielding). It is possible Ahsoka became insecure at her Master deciding she needed a second blade like maybe she wasn't doing good enough with one even though that's not at all what he meant. So I feel like the crystal would present itself to her when she learns to accept that it's ok to use a different style than is the most common and traditional. That she isn't any less a skilled Jedi because she is better with two lightsabers (which would mean a lot to me personally as someone who always needed extra help in school).

9.) Their favorite memory with their Master

I feel like her favorite memory with Anakin would be anytime he teaches her about mechanics given she's mentioned it a few times in Clone Wars namely when she fixes her comm on Geonosis.

I chose this because given what we learned in Tales of the Jedi of how Anakin trained her, these memories of combat training may be confusing and stressful. She probably would turn to a different activity they did together for good memories.

I feel like she also gets nostalgic just remembering when Anakin and Obi Wan bickered like siblings while she just rolled her eyes.

21.) Their greatest challenge

Ahsoka in my opinion really really desperately needs to work on letting go of her guilt and insecurities. She has a tendency to feel responsible for things beyond her control which really gets out of control with Darth Vader.

She just never feels good enough and questions every decision she makes and that only gets worse when she realizes the man who taught her turned to the dark side.

50.) Something in canon about them you reject

The Ahsoka show so far. I'm sorry but I just don't like story or the interpretation of her character at that point in time. She just doesn't feel the same to me anymore. She feels so watered down and just not how the Ahsoka from Clone Wars and even Rebels would act.

2.) Why did she build her lightsaber hilt the way she did?

Barriss's hilt is pretty simple so I feel like she built it for practicality. Plus as a healer, she isnt one for fighting so she wouldnt put as much thought into a weapon. There are some similiarities to Luminara's lightsaber so that's definitely a tribute. I also notice that the metal of saber isnt as shiny as most lightsabers. Maybe it's for stealth, or maybe it's a lighter metal to carry, possibly native to her planet if we wanna get sentimental.

Her blade would be blue because Barriss's number one priority is to protect above all. I just love how her lightsaber hilt looks because it's so symmetrical and seems pleasant and easy to hold. The bit of gold at the top is just enough to make it stand out and a lovely tribute to her Master.

38.) Their favorite place in the Jedi Temple

The archives cuz she's a nerd 🤣 seriously though, I think reading and learning stimulates her in a way she needs and is a comfort for her when she's anxious.

42.) What's something she'll never forget?

Sorry for the angst but the Geonosis Arena. That changed everything for her. She saw so many fellow Jedi killed and that was so traumatizing for her, she just couldn't be on the battle field again for a long while according to the canon short story.

The happier answer is Luminara just being the bestest Master and also the moment she realized she has feelings for Ahsoka.

43.) If she could talk to any deceased Jedi, who would it be and why?

I'm gonna give the obvious answer with Luminara and I feel like she would need to say everything she wish she could have told her when she was alive. Especially to free Luminara from any sense of guilt she may have regarding how the war affected Barriss.

10.) Her favorite memory with her Padawan

I think it would be watching Barriss build her lightsaber like in the 2003 series. She would be so proud of Barriss I know it.

I also think there are many moments in The Approaching Storm of watching Barriss just having fun. I think she and Anakin basically have a splash fight in a river. Also Luminara would definitely be so proud of Barriss's lightsaber dance. I can see her looking back on these memories after the Clone Wars began wishing it were like that again.

16.) Who are her best friends and how did she meet them?

Obi Wan and Quinlan since I think they're close in age. They'd meet as young Padawans maybe sparring. She probably bested Obi Wan and he was just all blushy which Quinlan def teased him for. They probably got in trouble together all the time. Or maybe as 8 year olds, Quinlan dared Lumi to kiss Obi Wan leaving the poor boy all blushy and tripping over himself 🤣

46.) Your favorite headcanon about her

That she hates Ventress with unreasonable fury 🤣 also that she and Obi Wan are in love and she was a naughtier Padawan.

The reason for that last bit is I headcanon Katri to be her first Master but she sadly was killed as we saw in Tales of the Jedi while Luminara would still be pretty young so she'd probably struggle with that grief. It's also why I feel like Dooku might have a soft spot for Luminara because he respected her Master and avenged her. But I feel like Luminara had to have struggled with the dark side as a teenager as a result of all this.

49.) Her greatest moment

That one bit in a comic where she kicks a pebble at a giant and it knocks him the fuck out looking like she just doesn't have time for this nonsense 🤣

Onscreen, I'd say in Cloak of Darkness, when she was willing to admit she made a mistake about Ventress to Ahsoka. It's so rare to see authority figures be so humble and admit a mistake. It really shows how wonderful and kind and soft she is. It shows why she is to me one of the greatest Jedi.

5.) Her favorite thing about being a Jedi

Being a Jedi would feel like coming home for Leia. Because she has always felt the Force though she didn't know it. Being a Jedi would feel like reuniting with an old childhood friend. It would remind her of how Bail and Breha raised her to be kind and never let cruelty prevail.

14.) How does she like to meditate?

I feel like she'd prefer isolation. I think she'd levitate because we see Rey doing that so I imagined she learned it from her. I think Leia would also meditate while holding onto a trinket from Alderaan because she'd need something to fidget with. And as a woman of action, meditating would be hard for her so she'd need an object to take out any energy with.

39.) If she were to enter an ancient temple, what would she see?

Since ancient temples love to fuck with Force sensitives, Leia would probably see Darth Vader morphing between that form and Anakin since I feel like he's her worst nightmare. She's afraid if she has any bit of him in her because of genetics so he'd taunt her abt that.

48.) A crack headcanon about her

Leia has the biggest potty mouth and it's a fucking problem. She has def slipped some cuss words in places she REALLY should not. Yes she has all the royal and political training but piss her off enough and the entire senate will hear exactly how she feels. Tarkin has def been at the recieving end of it and she has been suspended as a result.

The only reason Leia keep C3PO around is that she needs him to do her hair. All those fancy updoes? Yeah she never had to do them a day in her life but she does want to look her best so she keeps his annoying metal ass around. Eventually though, it's Han who does her hair for her and 3PO is just there for... tradition? Maybe translation abilities 🤣
