[A/N] So sorry this took so long.

When you first met him, you were 21 years old and incredibly horny. But you couldn’t believe that the one living man you had come across looked like that. He was so handsome. Plus he wore a cowboy hat. That was a bonus.

You had been on your own for what felt like an eternity. The world had gone mad, and you were left to fend for yourself in the midst of chaos. It was a lonely existence for a while, not once had you seen another living person since the beginning of it all. You began to question if you were somehow the only survivor.

At first, your survival had been nothing but dumb luck. You stumbled upon a vacant house with fully stocked pantries and a closet full of clothes. It was like a gift from the heavens.

However, as the months rolled by, you realized that relying on luck alone was not enough. You needed to develop some skills if you wanted to continue surviving in this new world. You began to teach yourself how to fend for yourself. You scavenged for food and learned how to purify water from streams and lakes. And most importantly, you learned how to defend yourself.

Your weapon of choice was a bow and arrow. It was a weapon your father had taught you how to use when you were younger. He had always been fascinated with archery and would often spend weekends at the range, teaching you how to shoot with precision. But it had been years since you last held a bow in your hands, and you never imagined that one day your knowledge would become a matter of life or death. On your travels, you found one, again more dumb luck and you began practicing with it.

You met Tallahassee in a store. You were frantically searching through the shelves, your eyes scanning for any sign of your favorite snack - Twinkies. It had been months since you had a taste of the delicious cream-filled treat, and you were desperate to find one.

Just as you were about to give up hope, you spotted a box of Twinkies tucked away in the corner. You quickly made your way over to grab it. But as you reached for the box, you noticed the packaging was torn. You looked closer at the box to reveal that the Twinkies were covered in rotting zombie flesh and blood. You felt a wave of anger wash over you.

You grabbed a baseball bat from the sports section and marched over to the first zombie you came across. It was growling and reaching out to you with its decaying arms, but you weren’t afraid. No, you were filled with so much rage that you swung the bat with all your might, hitting the zombie's head with the most satisfying crack you’d ever heard. You hit it, 2, 3, 4 more times.

You didn’t know that there was someone behind you, watching you take out your anger on the zombie. The first time Tallahassee saw you, his first thought was that he had never seen so much rage in such a small form.

Before you knew it, the two of you were on the road. You were in his car, travelling around the country, trying to find your favourite treat.

But pretty soon, Tallahassee became your favourite treat. One that you quickly got addicted to. You couldn’t get enough. If you weren’t trying to survive a zombie apocalypse, you’d be on him 24/7. You craved his touch, his lips, his rough hands on your skin.

It was never anything serious. Just two survivors using each other for pleasure. It was an unspoken arrangement, one that suited both of your needs in this new world. Until one night, everything changed.

You and your new group were at Pacific Playland. Little Rock found a Twinkie and passed it to Tallahassee and to your surprise, he broke it in half and gave some to you. You waste no time to put it on your tongue and you moaned at the taste you had missed so much. Little did you know that moan did a lot to Tallahassee.

He wiped a bit of cream filling from the corner of your mouth, and you playfully licked it off his finger. He pulled his finger away and before you knew what was happening, Tallahassee leaned in and kissed you. This kiss was different than any other the two of you had shared. Others were heated and desperate, driven by your mutual need to fuck each other. But this one was gentle and filled with something you never expected.

Love.

Tallahassee pulled away and looked into your eyes, his expression filled with tenderness and affection. You were taken aback, unsure of how to react. Love was something you never thought you would find. But here you were, feeling it with every beat of your heart.

You both stayed there in silence for a moment, processing what had just happened. Tallahassee was the first one to break the silence. “I...I didn't mean to do that,” he said, his voice almost a whisper.

You reached out and took his hand in yours, intertwining your fingers. “It's okay,” you assured him. “I like it.”

“You’re beautiful, you know that?” Tallahassee asks you, his rough thumbs stroking your cheeks. You blushed and looked down, feeling shy at his compliment. He lifts you head up to look at him, “I’m serious. You’re so beautiful. What are you doing with me?”

“I can’t say because there are little ears around,” you say with a smirk, but you look him up and down, eyes tracing his body, a body that you loved being under, licking your lips and you make it so obvious. You leaned over to his ear, lips touching the shell, "Take me home and I'll tell you," you gave him a little lick underneath his ear and walked away with an extra sway of your hips, knowing damn well he was staring at your ass.

Now 5 years later, you were still completely horny for your man, but you were in better control of it. Tallahassee on the other hand, still had a wild and untameable hunger for you, never wanting to keep his hands off of you, no matter where you were. And that is what got you in the position you were in right now. Trapped in a room with a horde of zombies outside.

You were on a supply run but Tallahassee couldn't help but notice the way you moved. The way your hips swayed as you walked, the way your hair bounced on your shoulders. He couldn't help but think of all the dirty thoughts that went through his mind whenever he saw you.

He was desperate. He wanted you. Sure you two hand sex every day but because of your other housemates, you have to be quiet. Tallahassee hated that. He loved to hear you.

As soon as that door shut, his hands were on you. Hungrily roaming over your body. You couldn't help but let out a gasp as Tallahassee pressed you up against the wall, his breath hot against your neck.

“Tally, what are you doing?”

“I need to feel you, Darlin’”

“Tal, not here. Besides, we had sex this morning. Can’t you wait until we get ba-?” your words are replaced by a moan when he presses his erection against your clothed core and started grinding against you.

He groans, “That’s why I can’t wait. I need to hear you. I never get to hear you,” his lips near your ear, “I want to hear you scream my name,”

You already knew you were soaked. The man in front of you only had to merely touch you and that was it, they were ruined.

“Please, Darlin’” he pleaded, his hips never stalling, “Please scream for your cowboy,”

You were gonna regret this weren’t you?

“Make it quick,”

He wasted no time. He dragged you away from the wall and towards a table. He pushed you face down over it and pushed your legs apart. You could feel your heart beating rapidly against the wood. He hastily pulled down his pants and positioned himself behind you, entering you roughly and without any hesitation. You let out a loud moan, your hands gripping the edges of the table. You could feel the table beneath you creak with the intensity of his thrusts.

But just as things started to heat up, a loud crash from outside the door snapped you both out of your trance. The sound of growling and shuffling feet filled the air.

The thing about where you were. It only had one door. Anger bubbled slightly within you as you realised you were trapped. You were angry at Tallahassee. You were angry with yourself for not having as much control as you thought you did. But you were mostly angry with Tallahassee.

“You got us into this, you get us out,” you told him angrily.

He laughed. He was fucking laughing right now.

“You're cute when you're angry,” he said, smirking.

“Cute? I'll show you cute when I use you as a distraction for those zombies,” you retorted.

* Does this one actually count as a movie? Feel like it's a bit of a stretch, but it does say "The Movie" right there in the title xD And it's ME, I feel like my list would be incomplete if I didn't include something starring my fave fire boi lol! ** What?! Frozen II on the list, but not the original Frozen?! That's right, it IS possible for one of a person's utmost fave characters of all time to be in a movie they thought was only okay xD Don't get me wrong, I do like Frozen, it just didn't make the cut for this list! Frozen II on the other hand came out in theaters at a time when I only had to pay $15/mo for unlimited movie tickets and I loved it so much, I was seeing it 2 or 3 times a week x'D *** I know rules didn't say to point this out, but I feel like I had to do it anyway: Utmost. Fave. Movie. Of. All. Time. RDJ and Val Kilmer in a comedic whodunit? Movie gold! Watch it. It's good!

I admit that I have a lot of nostalgic attachment to this movie. Going to see it is one of my fond memories from my senior year of high school, and one of the few of those that I feel hasn’t been poisoned by later events in life.

Anyway, here’s Zombieland.

Meet Columbus! (The characters go by the name of their home city or where they’re trying to get back to, as they avoid using real names to avoid getting attached.) He’s a timid shut-in college student who somehow survived the zombie apocalypse thus far, in part because he’s created a strict list of survival rules that he follows religiously. He meets up with Tallahassee, a violent survivalist who loves killing zombies, and they decide to ride together. They are shortly after joined by Wichita and Little Rock, a duo of two sisters who have made it by betraying others. This unlikely group travels west to find the fabled Pacific Playland, a park supposedly without zombies, while trying to not die or not kill each other.

I think that this movie succeeds for three main reasons:

ONE: This movie hit during the zombie craze. Really, there was this time in pop culture when everyone would not shut up about zombies. They were everywhere, and this movie was able to capitalize on that pop culture obsession.

[I want to be clear that this movie doesn’t pull too many punches with the way zombies look. These are not clean zombies! They are scarred, wounded, bloody, and very often vomiting goop. It’s downright gross. So even though it’s mostly lighthearted, it’s not as if you think that the apocalypse depicted is pleasant in the slightest.]

TWO: This movie released during a time when R-rated comedies were still big. They still exist now, yeah, but mostly stick to streaming releases. Joy Ride came out in theaters this year, and look how it did. But over a decade ago, it seemed like these movies were always coming out.

THREE: It’s a darn good movie!

This movie is everything it sets out to be, I think. It’s a hilarious action comedy, while also being a post-apocalyptic drama with good action sequences, and also has great performances, AND well-written character development. That’s a tall order for a movie, and a lot wouldn’t be able to pull it off. But Zombieland did it! By gosh, they did it!

I mean no, not everything hits perfectly. There’s a montage of the group driving which pretty much is the movie’s way of saying “They are bonding now!” which seems an awkward way to skip over development. But there are also scenes of them bonding, in ways that actually make a difference to the characters (Tallahassee teaching Little Rock to shoot comes to mind). So yes, it DID do the work to develop these characters, and I’m glad to see that it pays off in a satisfying way.

Amber Heard is in this movie. This isn’t really part of my review, but I didn’t realize this until fairly recently and thought it was an interesting tidbit.

Columbus is sort of the “Nerd Hero” that we saw a lot for a while in pop culture fiction, especially back when it was still assumed (by Hollywood, anyway) that nerds were all losers who had trouble talking to other people and played World of Warcraft all day. But I don’t know, this never really bothered me much with Columbus in this movie, because, well, he did survive the zombie apocalypse, didn’t he? He may be a shut-in, but his methods work because he’s approaching things logically. He’s not brave, he’s careful, and it works. It’s when he’s with other people that he has to push past those boundaries, but in a way that doesn’t require him to be completely stupid, just rethink his approach to things.

Worth noting: there’s a joke where Columbus says the best thing about the apocalypse is no Facebook? A couple of years later, the actor played Zuckerberg in The Social Network. Thought it was a bit amusing.

Do you remember back when Emma Stone was in everything? It was a bit weird; not bad, because she’s a good actress, but weird. Her role in this movie in particular is tricky, because it’s a character who keeps double-crossing our hero, and yet we’re still meant to like her in the end. That’s a hard balance to pull off! And yet she does it.

And of course, Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee. He’s kind of what makes this movie. He’s the character everyone I knew got attached to as they watched the film. He’s the most quotable, the most capable, and in a weird way the most sympathetic. Harrelson does a fantastic job with this role, and to me it’s one of the most memorable.

[Side note: there’s a line where Columbus says that Tallahassee looks like Yosemite Sam, and, uh… not really? Was this line written when the character was expected to be played by someone else?]

So see this movie! If you’re okay with watching our characters whaling on undead abominations, you’ll have great fun seeing Zombieland. I think it’s mostly aged well, and it’s great to see a movie that’s just allowed to be fun, not part of some larger universe or series. It’s just Zombieland, and that’s fine, and that’s great.

Though there was an attempt to make a TV series out of it, that never got past the pilot…

first i wanna talk about margaret of the map of tiny perfect things fame, i put her at the very beginning and the very end like bookends because that movie is about a timeloop and i thought it would be fun to like. begin and end the same you know… and then of course she’s just like ty because of how she let herself fall into that time loop as a metaphor for grief because she had this inability to let go of her mother and would have rather lived the same horrible day over and over again if it meant she didn’t have to live in a world without her mom. and she would have just made the map with mark and looked for all the small perfect moments within that day because she was too afraid of the bigger picture of life…. and then of course the whole movie is about mark trying to find a way OUT of the loop and he’s the one that helps her see the beauty in the ever changing nature of life and she’s only able to break the loop once she learns this…. like yeah well that needs to happen to my buddy ty!!!

another favorite is zombieland, i’m literally always saying that kit could do zombieland…. the thing about columbus zombieland is that well he’s a loser with no life and then it’s the end of the world and he survives by isolating himself from everyone. but he’s still trying to make it back to his family in ohio for one last chance at not being alone, and then he can’t do that but he finds a new family with tallahassee and witchita and little rock…. and well kit lovesss isolating himself as a way of protecting his heart but he still wants to be able to someday have a family, and he DOES now because he has tessa and jem and mina and jace and all the blackthorns…. also if you’ve seen the zombieland movies you’ll know that when columbus proposed in the sequel witchita immediately just left because she’s afraid of committing and her primary goal through the whole franchise has been to protect her sister so she used that as an excuse to run away from him… like. whatever. and then they killed a bunch of zombies together!!

little women is there because a) i was including as many things as i could think of that had multiple versions of the same characters. and b) because laurie’s whole deal is that he is so desperate to be a part of the march family that he would have married literally any of those girls. i’m not of the mindset that laurie only married amy as a consolation prize for losing jo, because i think he only wanted to marry jo because she happened to be his best friend and he wanted to be a part of her family. i think that laurie and amy were in love but i also think that it’s not like soulmate shit or anything they’re in love because they chose to be in love. i love amy’s speech in the 2019 adaptation about how she doesn’t think love just Happens and that if you just pick someone and commit to them that’s love enough to be meaningful. and i think her and laurie chose each other out of knowing that they wanted similar lives and could give each other something the other wanted and yes they loved each other as friends before they loved each other as more but it’s not necessarily a romcom situation with them. like they were in love but not because of some out of their hands fated romance deal you know. and i think there’s a similarity there to how kit and ty chose each other more so than it was fated. i know i’ve said a lot about them being like dated to be together although i don’t believe i’ve ever used that word. but i always mean it in the sense that they initially just picked each other and now they’re always going to be pulled together because of that. wow i just went on forever with this one huh ok moving on

some shorter explanations: twilight is there for the same reason little women is i think bella has the same thing wrong with her that laurie does. ari and dante get to be there because well we were all 15 together simple. allie and will get to be there because she’s the reincarnation of king arthur and we’ve all already established that kit is shadowhunter king arthur. do revenge is there for the toxic girl best friend-ism. enola holmes is there because it would have been wrong to not include literally the only sherlock holmes related media i have seen. benjamin is there because well he’s just like ty fr. handsome devil is there because when i watched that movie i saw my pal eddie dating amber be super annoying and i was like well i think he has kit herondale swag. and that was that i didn’t think about it beyond that. tangled is there for obvious reasons. fear street is there because sam and deena are insane about each other and also divorced and in a life threatening situation and also in love and well that is going to happen to ty and kit in twp

Chris’s top ten anime recommendations.

My descriptions are not the best but this is my current top ten list!

A Place further than the Universe - A beautifully animated story about going on a. journey, the nature of friendships and grief and acceptance. This anime made me want to travel, and I don’t like traveling. Soundtrack is a banger too.

Bloom Into You - A gorgeously animated story about what love is and what it means to different people, and recovery from grief. Loses points for being an incomplete adaptation, but the manga is readily available and excellent.

Violet Evergarden - Need I say more about the visuals? The story really is underrated, dealing with PTSD and the feeling that many veterans describe that they don’t know what to do with themselves. It catches a lot of grief for its main being so stoic, but that really is the point.

Zombieland Saga - by far the weirdest on the list. Who knew resurrecting the dead and covering their true selves with makeup makes such a good metaphor for the idol industry? The characters re truly something, with each one having a great backstory that resolves in interesting plots and good songs. Will the movie stick the landing? It’s left us with some BIG questions. Also this show has good canon trans girl representation. It’s not central but it’s there, explicitly.

Non non Biyori - Such a relaxing slice of life anime that will make you wish you grew up in a small town. Stunning animation that soothes the soul, and characters that are just unique enough to feel like real kids.

Ascendance of a bookworm - A unique premise and humorous MC. Has detailed world building that makes you eager to see how our chronically ill protagonist will maneuver society. But it fails to be terribly critical about the ableism in its own society, both from the audience and characters perspectives. Also endorses child labor? Kind of?? It’s a great show but why is no one ever talking about that part.

Recovery of an MMO junkie - An adorable little love story taking place in the virtual world. Enjoyable and relatable protagonists. The creator is a Nazi though. Does not appear in the work, but you should know.

Bocchi the Rock - Creatively animated story about an introvert who wants to join a band to avoid ever having to actually socialize. Painfully relatable, and the production value shows clear hard work and care. Low on the list because it only just came out.

Horimiya - Realistic teenage love story. Doesn’t spend the entire runtime getting our couple together, but rather focuses on their relationship and explores hidden sides of them. Funny and relaxing.

Odd Taxi - This one is SEVERELY underrated. The mystery is highly compelling, and not yet over! A grumpy walrus is the connective tissue between several moving parts of a greater conspiracy. Even if you aren’t a furry, this show won’t disappoint.

I wanted to ask if I can request a bit of a comfort fluffy one if you like it where like in the first movie he reveals to everyone that Buck was actually his son so the reader ends up comforting him later and they make love telling him they won’t replace his baby but maybe it’s time they can make a new family of their own together.

“Hey guys, look what I found,” you announced cheerfully as you skipped into the living room, where the group was gathered around the fire, their faces illuminated by the flickering flames. The room is dim, but the fireplace casts a gentle glow. You held up a box with a hopeful smile plastered on your face, revealing the game you had stumbled upon, “Wanna play?”

“Oh, Monopoly,” Columbus said, reaching up for the box with a smile. "Cool." He quickly opened the box to admire all of the little pieces, game tokens, Chance cards, Community Chest cards, and the big stack of Monopoly Money. He placed the box in the middle of the group and began unpacking the pieces.

"Wow," Wichita exclaimed, "I haven't played that in years."

“Dibs on the top hat,” you called out, shooting your hand in the air as if you were asking your teacher for permission to talk. Tallahassee smiled at your childlike enthusiasm, and you could feel his gaze on you as you eagerly awaited his response. After a few seconds, he silently handed you the top hat, and you took it with an excited expression. You quickly took the spot next to him, and his arm immediately wrapped around your waist. You felt the warmth of his body pressing against you, and you smiled as you settled into the spot that you would come to think of as yours. You had been searching for this feeling for a long time, and now that you had it, you felt happy and content. Tallahassee smiled as he kissed your head.

You each roll the dice, aiming to get the highest number that you can and to be the first to get to the fun and exciting places on the board. Wichita lands on Park Place and wastes no time, quickly buying it up and planning to build some houses. Little Rock, meanwhile, rolls a double, is thrilled to land on Boardwalk, and is lucky enough to be able to buy it before anyone else. On the other side of the table, Tallahassee gets sent to the 'Go' spot, collecting two hundred dollars and reminiscing on all the times that she has mistakenly ended up there before. Columbus, however, rolls snake eyes, revealing that it’s time to pay taxes.

Little Rock rolled the dice again and got a seven. She moved her token and landed on the Free Parking space on the game board.

“Oh, free parking, which coincidentally is the best thing about Zombieland,” Wichita points out, and you laugh before bringing your drink to your lips to take a sip.

“That’s a good one, but I think the best thing about Z-Land is no speed limit,” you replied, smirking. The statement echoed through the group, eliciting knowing chuckles. You were no stranger to the thrill of the open road, though your reckless driving had earned you a fair share of speeding tickets in the pre-apocalyptic world, which the group was not surprised about. Tallahassee rarely lets you drive anymore.

“Of course, you’d say that,” Tallahassee said with a chuckle. Columbus shook his head and Wichita was suppressing a giggle. Little Rock sat with a straight face, although you could tell she was amused. You grinned at them all.

“No, best thing about Z-land No Facebook status updates. You know "Rob Curtis is gearing up for Friday". Who cares.” Columbus added, rolling his eyes.

“Or ‘Already on my third cup of joe this morning!” You chimed in.

Tallahassee, with a playful twirl of the fork in his fingers, added, "The best thing is no more flushing, epic." His statement elicited a collective chuckle from you.

You shook your head at him and smirked. “Of course, you’d sat that,” you mimicked. You squeal as he brings his hand to your waist, giving it a light pinch.

"And the worst thing? About Z-land?” Wichita asked, her eyes grazing over the group.

“You mean other than the fact that I shot Bill Murray?” Columbus asked sadly, looking down at the board, looking for something to occupy his hands.

Tallahassee's gaze remained fixed on the floor as he spoke, “That's easy. Losing Buck,”

“That's his puppy.” Columbus told the girls, gesturing towards him.

“I tell you, I never thought I could love anything like Buck. The day he was born, I just lost my mind.”

“Sorry.” Wichita whispered, her voice heavy with regret at asking the question.

“He had my personality, my laugh, and my appetite,” he continued, the strain in his voice becoming more obvious as he was on the verge of crying. Then it hit you. The pain that was swimming in tears in his eyes, his actions, and his hatred towards the zombies It wasn’t a puppy they took from him. It was his son. Why did it take you so long to realize this?

His soft sobs that he fought to contain drifted through the air, reaching your ears. You felt helpless. You didn’t know how to make him feel better. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out something: “We made this wallet together out of duct tape."

He handed the wallet to you, and in it, you saw two pictures of a young blonde boy. You smiled. He’s adorable, or he was. Asshole zombies. You wanted kids. At least you did before the apocalypse started. Now it seemed like a bad idea. Even though you would love to have a family with Tallahassee. But you weren't sure if he'd want one with you.

“I haven't cried like that since Titanic,” he said, picking up a pile of money to wipe his tears. Tallahassee excused himself from the game and headed upstairs. You then excused yourself and followed him.

You softly knocked on the door before entering. “It’s only me,” you said. When you walked in, he was lying on the bed, hugging the pillow. You went to the other side and lay down beside him, facing him. “I’m sorry, baby."

You wished you could take away his pain, but all you could do was be there for him. You kissed his forehead, whispering words of love and comfort. You looked into his eyes, wet with tears, and saw the depth of his grief. You knew he had lost a part of himself—a part that could never be replaced. You wanted him to know that he was not alone and that you loved him more than anything in the world.

“I know nothing I can do can ever make up for that, but I love you, and you have me forever,” you whispered. Tears welled up in your eyes as you stroked his cheek, wiping away the trail of water left behind by his tears. You wished you could kill them all and wipe them off the face of the earth. You wished you could end this nightmare, this hell.

But you knew that was impossible. You knew that you were outnumbered and outmatched. You knew that you had to keep fighting, keep living, and keep hoping.

You tightened your grip on him, trying to convey your love. You kissed his cheek, his neck, and his shoulder. You whispered words of comfort. You told him that you were sorry, letting him know that you were there for him and you would be through anything.

He smiled weakly at you, squeezing your hand. He thanked you for being there for him, for being his rock and his anchor. He told you that he loved you too and that you were his everything.

He leaned in and kissed you softly and gently. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer to him. He rested his head on your chest, listening to your heartbeat. He closed his eyes and sighed. He felt a flicker of hope in his heart.

You continued to stroke his cheek softly, basking in the warmth of his skin. His eyes fluttered shut, and his breathing was slow and steady. You couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, completely relaxed.

However, your mind was racing with questions and doubts. You had been through so much together, surviving in a world that had been torn apart by a deadly virus. The two of you had formed a bond that was unbreakable.

After a few minutes of internal debate, you decided to voice the question that had been weighing on your mind since you got together. "If the world wasn't the way it was, would you have a family with me?" you asked softly.

There was a moment of silence, and you felt your heart sink.

But then he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, I would," he said. "If we can find a safe place to set up camp and live, maybe we still can."

You couldn't believe what you were hearing, but it seemed impossible in a world where survival was the only goal.

"Do you really think we can?" you asked as his hand moving to rest on your stomach as if something was already growing in there.

He nodded with a determined look in his eyes. "I'll make sure of it," he said, pulling you close and kissing you softly.

As your kiss grew more passionate, you felt like the whole world around you had stopped. His hands slowly left your face and tangled into your hair. As our kiss grew more passionate and desperate, it felt as though time had stopped. Your lips intertwined, speaking what words could never express.

You knew that the future was uncertain, but with him by your side, anything was possible. Tallahassee had become your home, and no matter where you were, as long as you were with him, you knew that you would be okay.

You writhed in pain as you lay on your bed, clutching the sheets tightly in your hands. Tallahassee was kneeling by your side, offering words of comfort and support as he guided you through each painful wave. But despite your best efforts, you couldn't help but feel a seething anger building within you. As the minutes turned into hours, your frustration grew with each passing moment.

“God, I hate you!” You screamed at him, squeezing his hand as hard as you could, your nails digging into the rough flesh.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the moment arrived. With one final push, you gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Tears streamed down your face as you held your newborn in your arms, your eyes glistening with tears of joy, exhaustion, and overwhelming love. The tiny, fragile life you cradled in your arms represented a glimmer of hope in a world tainted by chaos and uncertainty.

You both gaze down at your newborn daughter, her fragile fingers clutching one of Tallahassee’s. You turned to him, his eyes reflecting a mixture of pride and tenderness, and asked, "What shall we name her?"

Tallahassee, who had been deep in thought, looked up at you with a twinkle in his eye. "I have the perfect name," he said, as his thumb gently stroked the back of your daughter's tiny hand. "Let's call her Dove."

A warm smile graced your lips as your eyes lovingly met those of your beautiful baby girl. "Dove," you whispered softly, "I love it."

And Dove it was. The name suited your little angel perfectly, with her delicate features and pure innocence. You both vowed to love and protect her with everything you had and to give her the best life possible.

With your precious newborn cradled between you, he gently leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead. “Thank you,”

You took his hand in yours and looked him in the eyes. “We’re not replacing him,” you told him seriously. He squeezed your hand and brought it to his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back.
