Can you please write something about a reader who wants to get self-improved?

What I am trying to say is, the reader is kinda of lazy and all they do is sleep, eat, and read. Neglecting studies and being unproductive.

But they want to change. They tried so many times, but they became their previous self again after 2 or 3 days.

Can you please write something like Law, Shanks, Mihawk, and Ace to help them to become their best self?

Like you know motivational and inspiring thing...

I don't know if you can understand this. English is not my mother language. So it's so hard to explain. Sorry about that.

✧ You had been locked in your room for several weeks and you didn't want to come out. You didn't want to see people. You didn't want to listen to them. You didn't want to talk to them.

✧ You just wanted to spend your days alone in your blankets reading quietly with Law visiting in the evening to sleep.

✧ Everyone outside, even your friends, bored you: their conversations didn't interest you and their reactions annoyed you. Besides, you didn't see what you could talk to them about and, even when you tried, you were cut off. this invisibilization irritated you so much that you ended up not saying a word, plunging yourself even deeper into your boredom, and no longer coming.

✧ You had tried several times to come back to them but your interactions turned on you more and more until the arrival of the Straw Hats who had finished isolating you for good.

Their captain who shouted everywhere and ruined your peace. Their swordsman who turned on his heel in the middle of your sentence when you tried to talk to him. Or their navigator who had cut you off to call out to Shachi who was passing behind you with his winnings from his bets with the crew.

✧ You hadn't left your room since.

✧ Law didn't see your isolation in a good light so, given that you were only reading and your reading stock was dwindling, he mentioned the very well-stocked library of the Straw Hats. Innocently, of course.

✧ He arranged for the Straw Hats to start a party before you could get out. Not wanting to get stuck in the hubbub on your way back to your room, you decided to stay reading in the Sunny Library until the crowd dispersed. Law sent Robin to the library to read her book.

✧ You came home the next morning to talk to Law about the archaeologist who was nice and whose invitation you thought you would accept to meet up to read together. He just calmy replied: “Cool” even though he was very satisfied inside to see you regaining confidence in socialization.

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐒

✧ You didn't have the motivation to do anything to advance your goals. You always pushed everything aside with an "I'll do it later" to continue reading until you found yourself in the evening and said to yourself "It's too late to start, I'll do it tomorrow".

✧ It was like this every day.

✧ One morning, Shanks came into your room humming after you went back. He approached you under your suspicious gaze and took your book from your hands before going to the window and casually throwing your book into the water over his shoulder.

You could have ripped him alive just for that.

✧ However, he took out an old crumpled sheet of paper from his pocket with a quill already inked on it and wrote your objective in large letters at the top of the page. Then he spent the rest of the morning with you on the bed figuring out all the steps to take before reaching your goal. He embellished the page with little drawings here and there to make it more “cool”.

✧ He called himself "the Emperor of the to-do list" throughout.

✧ The next day, you did one of the tasks on the list because it didn't take much time / effort and you could do it from your bed. You simply checked it off and, when Shanks came back in the evening, you showed him.

✧ Every time you checked a box, he showered you with a shower of congratulations as well as special drinking parties to celebrate your accomplishment.

✧ The whole crew also ended up getting involved and they all encouraged you in their own way.

𝐌𝐈𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊

✧ He was genuinely starting to worry about you: you didn't want to go out anymore and it had been weeks since you had seen the light of day.

No matter what he does, you always return to your bed after stocking up on food in the middle of the night in the castle kitchen. You stay all day under your covers. You would refuse his invitations every time he offered to accompany him outside the castle or during his missions outside Kuraigana. You always justified that you were more comfortable in your bed and that you didn't see the point in going out.

✧ He ironically thought that he was the one called a vampire.

✧ Finally, he got fed up. He waited for you in the kitchen during the night and started talking to you for a long time. You find his behavior quite strange but you keep talking, hoping that he will make fewer remarks to you later about the fact that you always stay locked in your bedroom.

However, when you opened the door to your room to finally snuggle into your soft pillows and blankets, you noticed that your bed was gone. Your bed was missing. You tried all the rooms in the castle but all the beds had disappeared. As well as all the pillows and blankets. There were none left in the entire castle.

✧ He then guided you towards Hitsugibune where his usual seat had been replaced by your blankets and pillows. You were shocked while he gave you the choice between staying on the island and sleeping on the cold stone floor or boarding with him and sleeping in comfortable bedding.

After toying with the idea of sleeping on the cold castle floor just to annoy him, you finally agree to go on his boat.

✧ After a few weeks of traveling, you realize that getting out of bed was the best solution because your days were no longer an endless blur. They no longer paraded at full speed without your having the slightest memory of them.

𝐀𝐂𝐄

✧ You wanted to start sport but you couldn't stay regular.

✧ You could tell yourself all the benefits it would give you (post-session well-being with endorphins, being more active in everyday life, more energy etc.) but you couldn't do it. Even motivational phrases like “the hardest part is to begin!” only made you feel even more depressed when you found yourself hopelessly in sportswear in your bed.

✧ You motivated yourself to do a week then you missed a session because you had aches. And another because you were tired. Then another one because you were lazy and, at rhis point, it wouldn't make a difference.

And you always ended up stopping.

✧ But Ace wanted to help you so he offered to accompany him on his next mission. You never refused to spend more time with him so you agreed.

✧ However, this trip as a couple was very different from the previous ones where you made all your trips at sea with his striker and those on land with the island's transport.

✧ This time, you did everything by yourself.

You paddled on the Grand Line while Ace helped you while telling you about his fights with Sea Kings. You hiked from one town to another while arguing with your idiot lover who had forgotten to take money for transportation. You climbed mountains hand in hand with him as you chatted happily.

✧ Finally, you got a taste for these privileged private moments with your boyfriend. They provided you with enough physical exercises to satisfy you without constraining you and you no longer felt the duty to do these sessions alone.

been thinking nonstop about the asl brothers and would love to hear you yap about them

Ouhhh the ASL bros.... apologies in advance for how Luffy-heavy this is.

They are very important to me... Luffy's my favorite character and so of course I am made weak by his brothers. They're so incredibly tragic that it pains me to think about them. Did you ever think about the fact that Sabo and Luffy are the two who know each other the least? Sabo and Ace had at least three years before Sabo disappeared, and Ace and Luffy had seven years together before Ace set out, but Luffy and Sabo only knew each other through Ace for less than a year, twelve years ago. They're probably weird without the context of Ace in between them.

This of course isn't to say their bond isn't strong or they don't love each other as much, but being near each other must cause such an ache for their third brother given they were never around each other without Ace there... kind of like when Sabo "died" and Luffy and Ace kept talking to him anyways before getting embarrassed and upset as soon as they remembered Sabo's not here anymore.

Urghh I also think the beginning of Luffy's relationship with Ace is the blueprint for Luffy trying to befriend anyone, and probably the proof to him (though he already knew it) that he could get anyone in his corner if he was just persistent. This is an attitude he keeps throughout all his adventures and everyone he meets, from his "I refuse your refusal!" to Sanji to his consistent pestering of Law...

Ace is just a whole mess of his own... he changed so drastically and even learned manners for Luffy in order to thank Shanks for saving him (something something changing for the better because of someone you love). This completely changed his interactions with others, I think. I love whenever there are nods in comics or fics to Ace being remembered by Luffy's crew as this polite guy, and when Sabo hears of this he's just hopelessly confused and probably a little sad, too, that he missed such a change in his brother and never had the chance to meet him like that.

Back to Luffy though because I'm insane... Ace is such a good meter for Luffy's growth... I recently saw someone commenting on the way that Luffy speaks of Ace throughout post timeskip, from feeling so guilty meeting Sabo at Dressrosa to smiling when Marco told him Ace would be proud of him in Wano... I think a lot of that came from seeing Sabo, and knowing he had another brother alive. I think to Luffy, Sabo is the authority on Ace to some extent. That Sabo was simply happy Luffy was alive and wasn't upset at him for failing Ace was big for Luffy and he kind of took that to heart - it helped him really believe it... maybe that in a way caused him to be able to talk freely about Ace by the time he reached Wano...

Ughh this is all so disjointed and jumbled and I may think of more later but this has been my yapping for now.

Omg thank you so much for your request sweetheart! Never really wrote for Koby, but I am excited to do so! He’s such a sweetie, I love him so much 💕💕 I’m not sure why I never really thought to write for him before, and writing this was such a pleasure, so I really appreciate your suggestion of this.

I wasn’t sure about gender specifics or which format you wanted (headcanon or blurb), so I did both and kept the terms gender neutral! I really hope this is kind of what you’re looking for dear ❤️

Headcanons ❤️

Your first meeting is one that I commonly like to dub as the ‘marine/pirate love story trope’: the one in which you are captured by Marines.

Koby isn’t the one to officially arrest you — that honor belongs to a one Monkey D. Garp, who was more than frustrated at the disruption your capture posed to his goal, which was to apprehend his grandson; but a pirate is a pirate, and all needed to see justice, so when Garp’s ship intercepted yours he did his duty to curb your devious activities.

Koby was, however, tasked with the assignment of keeping watch over your cell in the brig, and truthfully, you couldn’t have been more delighted by it.

The timid bespectacled man had quickly caught your attention the moment you were loaded onto the deck; and by the way his eyes lingered on yours for longer than what was appropriate, you knew you’d captured his as well.

Conversation didn’t come easily at first, not at any fault of your own; despite Koby’s clear interest displayed on the deck, he was hesitant to engage in any sort of talk with you, no matter how much you coaxed or teased him.

It wasn’t until hours later that you two had any semblance of a conversation, and after getting over his initial hesitation, words and stories flowed freely and easily between you

Koby found himself deeply entranced by your sharp wit and buttery tongue, and was heavily flustered by every compliment and sultry sentence you sent his way. It wasn’t something he was accustomed to, especially not from a pirate, but what bothered Koby most wasn’t necessarily that you were a pirate, but that he was enjoying the attention from a pirate. Koby had closed down a bit after that, but you already had him around your finger, whether you knew it or not, and Koby was unable to resist the temptation to know you more and hear your voice.

Feelings spiraled quickly on both ends; you were so intoxicated by Koby’s bashful reactions to your attention, so entranced by the way his soft features colored so prettily when you’d offer him a compliment or a sultry tease — but the more you got to know him, the more you realized it wasn’t just mindless physical attraction; you liked Koby for Koby, for his admirable dedication to his own dream, for his ideology, for his soft spoken mannerisms, for the way he looked at you with those eyes — eyes that said he shared the exact same depth of feeling as you did.

It was so fast that it nearly caused you whiplash; but Koby was even more affected. Never in his life had he had the opportunity to feel anything other than fear or loathing, and emotions such as love or desire were completely foreign to him — it was even more confusing and irritating for him as you two stood on opposite sides of the law.

In total, you were kept in the brig for three and a half days; and over those three and a half days, you and Koby grew close. He was tasked with guarding your cell more often than not, and to your surprise, not only did Koby spill his entire backstory to you, but you did the same to him. It was something you’d never revealed to anyone, not even your own crew mates, so the fact that you shared it with Koby, who was a Marine, was so baffling and frankly disturbing to you; but the way Koby’s eyes glittered as he paid rapt attention to every word you spoke, as if he were desperate to drink in every single detail about you, made those ill feelings trickle away quickly.

By the time you were to face your sentencing (by now you’d already accepted the fact that you were more than likely going to face justice by means of beheading or a life in Impel Down, though it wasn’t the idea of losing your own life that hurt you, but rather the idea of never being able to speak or see Koby again), Koby was already smitten, and unbeknownst to you, he was already determined to commit mutiny.

Koby was the one assigned to drag you from the brig to the Marine headquarters, but soon as your feet hit solid ground, Koby glanced around nervously and then quickly unshackled your cuffs when he noticed you two were alone. You were completely baffled.

“Punch me.” Koby demanded, and all you could do was gawk at him and then sputter out a single consonant sound in reply.

“Just do it, fast. Punch me and run.” Koby urged again, nerves racking up with every second that passed. You licked your lips as your heart fluttered in your chest. You knew the risk Koby was taking for you, and it made your heart clench painfully.

“You could get in a lot of trouble.” You whispered back, and Koby simply shook his head.

“I don’t care about that right now. I just want you to run. You’re one of the good ones, I can tell.” Koby said sincerely, and the way his crystal blues bore into your eyes made your entire being shake.

You truly couldn’t believe what you were experiencing. You’d encountered many marines, hell, you’d been captured and escaped many times before, but never once had a marine let you escape; and Koby was throwing himself into the fire just so you could have your freedom.

Knowing the risk for Koby and feeling extreme trepidation, but also knowing that escape would mean a chance to see Koby again, and filled with so much gratitude and pure feeling for Koby, you did something you never thought you’d ever do; you grabbed the man by the shoulders and planted your lips firmly on his.

Koby was so stunned that he didn’t respond to the sudden kiss, and just when he was about to you pulled away and nodded at him before wrenching your hand back and clocking him in the jaw.

“I’ll see you again, Koby.” You promised as you darted away, fading away into the distance without looking back; you knew that if you did, you’d run back to the man behind you.

It had been three months since Koby’s last encounter with you; and he swore that he could still feel the phantom pain of your strike and the pleasant tingle of your lips against his.

Every day Koby held your parting words close to his heart, hoping beyond hope that he’d see you again, but as the days turned to weeks turned to months, he began to lose that spark — it will still dimly glowing within his chest, but it was dimmed exponentially.

Koby was fairly useless ever since your ‘escape’; his mind was always plagued with you, with your voice, with your lips, with your laugh, with everything about you. It was irritating and slightly depressing for him, how smitten he was with you. He couldn’t entirely understand it — not only was it something completely new and foreign to him, feeling this depth of emotion, but it was for someone he’d barely known for three days, who was a pirate on top of all that; his sworn enemy, the same enemy he’d promised to capture and bring to justice.

Koby had never even considered mutiny before; not even in the case of Luffy. Though Luffy was a dear friend and an inspiration to Koby, Koby had steeled it within himself that should he meet with Luffy, he would apprehend him the same as any other pirate, and he wouldn’t dare to let him escape.

Yet he let you.

It was very frustrating, and all these emotions within Koby caused him to lose his focus. Garp barked at him many a time to focus on training, but Koby just couldn’t. Even Helmeppo had asked him what the hell was up, if he still felt guilty about royally screwing up on his first ever escort mission, but there was no way Koby could ever tell anyone the truth.

How do you tell your entire branch and admiral that you’re in love with a pirate, and you let that pirate escape, and even held a useless hope to actually see that pirate again?

Yeah, he couldn’t do that. Not in a million years.

On the third day of the fourth month of your absence, Koby laid his head down with the conviction that he’d never see you again.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

The sound was rapping but light, quiet but loud enough to cause Koby to stir to consciousness beneath his covers.

Koby reached blindly for his glasses as the tapping became more insistent, and when he finally slid them on and glanced in the direction of the noise, his heart leapt into his throat.

There, perched on the window sill of his window, was you, smiling widely and waving.

Koby threw his covers off and nearly toppled out of bed in his hurry to reach the window. With a grunt he wrenched open the pane and gawked at you.

“Heya, sweetcheeks.” You cooed, absolutely adoring the dazed smile he sent you as his cheeks colored. You wanted desperately to reach forward and bring him into your arms; except there was one problem, and that was that you were still perched on the window sill.

With little to no subtlety you clambered through the window, and Koby sputtered beside you as you did so. His gentle, dazzling smile was wiped from his face and was now replaced by a grimace of panic.

“What are you doing here?” He whisper-yelled, and you simply shrugged and smiled at him.

“I said I would see you again, sweetheart.” You said casually, and Koby glanced around the room warily, as if it any moment another marine would pop out and catch you.

“No, I know, it’s just — how did you know where to find me?”

“I have my ways.” You said, none-too-mysteriously, and Koby resisted the urge to shiver at the implication; he should he freaked out by that, but honestly, he was too overcome with happiness at seeing you again to even consider being freaked out.

Koby fell silent and appraised you; your form was hard to make out in the pale moonlight that filtered through the window, but you were still just as breathtaking as Koby remembered. Still as sultry and mouthwatering, too. The reality of where exactly you were, in his room, with him, alone, hit him like a ton of bricks, and his cheeks flushed deeply. You couldn’t help the grin that pulled your lips at the sight.

“I know it’s a bit unconventional and even risky, but I don’t like not seeing you, Koby.” You said honestly, and the way Koby’s flush deepened even further fueled your ever-present adoration for the boy. Stepping close, you wrapped your hands around his wrists and brought them to your torso. Koby’s breath hitched as you leaned closer, until your lips were mere centimeters apart. Shivers ran up Koby’s spine as you whispered against his lips, your breath tickling the sensitive skin.

“Let’s see each other more, yeah?”

MOAR HEADCANONS (because I can) ❤️

After the first night of sneaking into Koby’s room, it became a bit of a habit. The times and days varied, and sometimes you would go weeks without appearing at his window (those were the hardest times for Koby, but he understood the two completely different lives you lead). It was a little rocky at first as Koby was still unsettled by your status as a pirate, but over time he grew to accept it.

For a long time Koby kept your relationship secret; he knew the dangers of ever revealing it to anyone — it was dangerous for the both of you, and could lead to a death sentence. But Helmeppo, ever observant, noticed the change in Koby’s demeanor immediately, and after months of being pestered by the blonde, Koby finally admitted to your relationship.

Koby immediately regretted it; he just knew that Helmeppo would talk, and that your lives would be over. But Helmeppo didn’t. Instead, he clapped Koby on the shoulder and said simply,

“Good catch.”

From then on Helmeppo kept the secret; he even aided in your secret meetings with Koby, which made things exponentially easier for the both of you. The amount of time you could spend together grew, and before you knew it, you were both completely tied together.

Damn right there’s been many times you’ve tried to scoop Koby away into the life at sea.

And damn right Koby many times tried to coax you to be a Marine just like him.

But neither of you would budge, and within time just became accepting of each others life choices; Koby protected you at all costs, and kept you hidden from the marines. He would never let any harm come to you. That he promised.

The idea to label his love for you as mutiny never crossed his mind; in reality, he felt love could never be a crime, even between a pirate and a marine.

By the time Koby rose through the ranks and became an admiral himself, your relationship had grown so deeply that neither of you could stand the thought of ever being separated and it killed the both of you inside. So what did you do?

You made sure to get captured by his ship at every possible opportunity.

It became quite a thorn in his side, especially when he would have to explain to the higher ups how you somehow ‘managed to escape time and time again.’

No one ever truly caught on, much to your surprise. However, your bounty did raise a few million Berry every time, and the amount of bounty hunters you had to fight off was insane.

But it was totally worth it to have Koby get protective over you ❤️ and the way he would blush when you teased him about it was the best!

Theres one thing that I love about one relationship in one piece but I think it’s too unclear and like between the lines for everybody to understand it so imma explain it to y’all 🫵

This is all about the Law/Cora/Dofy situation and I swear you won’t regret knowing that.

We know Dofy is a literal demon spawn he was born to be a menace to society and don’t give two fucks about how what he does affects others.

During the Dressrosa arc you get to meet with the Donquixote family with its three main units named after the four symbols in card games so « heart, clubs, diamonds and spades ».

It’s easy to make the link between Corazon and the heart unit obv since it’s a code name to represent that he is the head of this unit, and before him it was Vergo.

Now back to the Dressrosa arc 13 years after Cora’s death, the heart unit doesn’t exist anymore. Or I should say doesn’t have anybody officially in it. Since Cora’s death Dofy didn’t give this name to anybody again.

I have three reasons that could explain why :

For when Vergo comes back eventually

Because he didn’t want anybody to take the place of his brother (either out of love, even if it sounds quite unreal, either because he didn’t want anybody to remind him of him)

Because he kept this place for Law if he ever came back

BUT Law still wears the heart. His tattoos, his jacket in this arc and even his crew (called Heart Pirates), and THIS is something that Dofy doesn’t like at all.

Dofy never looses his cool, he has a lot of temper and is very cold headed but we saw him giving in to his emotions two major times. The first time being Cora’s death.

If you watch true crime or things like criminal minds you know that when someone is killed by being shot or stabbed repeatedly it, pretty much every time, mean the victim and killer had a strong bound and the crime was due to something happening in their relationship that created hatred or frustration for exemple. Now look at Cora’s death.

It’s clearer in the anime but Dofy shots Cora repeatedly. And the same thing happened a second time 13 years later with who ? Law obv 👍

It’s the scene where Dofy sees the name Corazon on Law’s back, he absolutely loses his shit.

He hates seeing Law wear the heart because it must remind him of his failure with him and Cora, how he wasn’t able to get the two of them to stay with him.

We know that Dofy still associates Law with the Heart tho no matter how much it seems to affect him, when Law was captured he was attached to the Heart throne, out of the four empty ones.

So when Dofy wanted to kill Law after losing his shit over how Law will forever be associated with the Heart no matter what he has to say about it he ONCE AGAIN shoot repeatedly.

Im not pointing this so say that Dofy is attached to him in any way but in a way that Law, more than anyone else, affects him so deeply he makes him lose his cool even for a second. Even when he lost to Luffy Dofy was not much affected by the situation, but as soon as Law shows him how linked he still is to the Heart and Cora it’s the end of the world for him.

You can even see how he will forever associate the name Corazon to Law, because of their relationship of course, but also because Dofy probably wanted Law to become the new Corazon, as he said 16 years ago that in ten years Law would be his right hand.

I think I’m pretty much done, their trio is one of my favorite in the whole series, it’s so interesting to try to understand how Dody feels about them and the other way around, their relationship is so complex and well written I just love them all three sm 🙏

OHOHO rubs my hands together--you've activated my trap card >:3 (also thank you sm!! :D♥︎) SO-

short answer: their relationship is a complicated nightmare at best, and it changes a ton over time. they meet in weird circumstances, things stay weird for a long time, & they end up "together." what that means, i have no idea, bc i think they would die before they talked about it or said they were Actually Dating

long answer: they meet when twitch rescues a very nearly dead grace from the arctic. twitch thinks this poor guy looks very haunted, which is apparently interesting enough for them to reroute the entire ship so they have an extra couple months to hound him for secrets.

upon getting back to london, they want nothing more to do with eachother: twitch got all the secrets they could, grace wants to get far away from this weirdo, preferably as soon as possible, thanks

so they part ways, for a while. grace starts working with the constables (he thinks he can help people there. poor guy) they keep giving him the unwanted jobs: drag bodies back home, sort the paperwork, stand guard outside the cells because this new inmate is chatty and it's annoying everybody else and-oh, it's twitch. of course it is.

they get talking, since there's nothing else to do, and twitch is Very Persistent. they strike a deal: grace can use his connections to get twitch on the good side of the legal records, and in return, twitch will give him free zee trips when he needs it. twitch thinks this will be basically never, since grace has nothing going on, right? so they got the better end of this deal for sure-what do you mean he's on an unhinged revenge mission to murder a fucking master of the bazaar? oh, they have got to see this.

grace is too reluctant to zail himself, has no other contacts & doesn't know anything about the neath. twitch is his only real, consistent source, and they want to see & know everything about how it's going-- this is like the most interesting story in the world to them! so they're spending a lot of time together. a weird amount of time together, really, for two people who don't spend lots of time around any one person in particular.

and it's...kind of fun? sure, twitch is very unreliable, their weirdness is still offputting to grace, sometimes-- but less than it used to be. they're nicer than he gave them credit for, smarter, and their enthusiasm is infectious. and grace is very helpful, it turns out, and it's nice to have company in the captain's cabin, and making him smile instead of looking miserable all the time starts to feel kind of like an accomplishment, and- oh, no.

they both react to their feelings about as well as you would expect: ignore them! or in twitch's case, ask the ship's surgeon to surgically remove them (and get refused. cruel.) they both deny their feelings for a long time. it could never work anyway, right? they're far too different.

except, not really. grace later finishes nemesis, and after parting (somwhat bitterly) with twitch & a brief stint at the grand geode, he realises maybe the laws here fucking suck, actually--maybe he doesn't need to uphold them to help people. lucky for him, twitch has a hell of a rivalry with the admiralty & it's only a matter of time before they cross paths again. he deserts the admiralty in the midst of a naval battle, onto twitch's ship.

til i give either of them an ending, they stay together from that point--at least, as much as they want to. old habits die hard--twitch still likes zailing off to do weird shit, twitch is still a criminal, grace is very much not (more of a vigilante, i guess.) they still can't talk about what they are, they still clash sometimes. but they make it work! captain & (honorary) first mate.

(& twitch's crew breathe a sigh of relief. bc they've been waiting for their emotional brick wall of a captain to semi admit it for at least a year)

I've been reading your posts about them and, what if both happened at the universe? Like, Garp brings his grandsons not much time after Zeff opens Baratie, and Sanji is still in grief about his siblings.

Of course, the scar and everything happened some time before and Dragon bring Sabo back to his brothers but promises to let Sabo join the revs when he's older.

(Sanji probaly just tells about his siblings to ASL near his 11 birthday bc, y'know, memories about the storm)

(And in Wano, Law and Robin have to deal with the ASL liking Sanji)

I stopped writing Mihawk/Sora soulmate AU for this. It's great. So not only do we have Zeff/Garp we have ASL all crushing on Sanji in an AU where Sanji lost his siblings who actually loved and cared for him during a storm. Also in RSL, it's SanLu. The ship that sailed is SanLu but they're all dating Sanji and it is PAINFUL for Law.

AMAZING! What a chaotic fucking mess that enraptures our cook so wholly. Fantastic. There is a cut because this is long.

So what essentially happens is Garp finds his not dead boyfriend/husband/lover man and finds out he adopted this kid and decides to bring his grandchildren. It's a chaotic disaster, it's a whole fucking mess. Sanji isn't exactly looking to get close to anyone, and he's still trying to keep Zeff an ocean away practically after what happened to him not too long ago.

Still, ASL wear him down and now he's just doing his best. The days spent with kids his age and not running good. As much as the Baratie moves they still see the same people a lot. No one has connected him to Robin despite his bounty, because he and Law have to have one for traveling with her and them being beginning pirates.

As it draws closer to Sanji's eleventh birthday and the stormy season coming in Garp and ASL are spending the night at Baratie. A dinner for them and the staff only. At some point it comes up because Luffy asks when Sanji's birthday is and Sanji tells them and says he doesn't want to celebrate. Zeff asks why and Sanji answers.

No one was expecting that he lost his family in a storm. His brother and sister and crew. In the North Blue. The storm that made him wind up in the East Blue, alone, and then another stranded him on a rock with Zeff. Garp is studying the kid before nodding and apologizing for his loss. Garp knows those brows from a bounty for a child, not as high as Nico Robin's but getting up there. Zeff tells him they're going to make new memories and that's that. And they do, Sanji cries, tears of loss and happiness. Everything continues, Sabo leaves and is brought back by Dragon with a promise to join the Revolutionaries at seventeen.

Time goes on they all set sail, Sanji goes with Luffy. They're sailing and it's going well. Everything is going well. They pick up Robin post Alabasta and she can see he's dating Luffy but when they're finally alone Sanji explains they don't know about who his siblings are but he's dating Luffy, Ace, and Sabo. Robin cocks her head and smiles and says something about plural marriages being relatively common in the old days and she's glad he found three men to provide for him until he dies. Sanji nods at that given his history and just says he hopes it's not starvation again.

They run into Law and Sabaody but can't talk to him and then when they're teleported away it's a weird situation. Robin meets Sabo and Dragon. Sabo comes back some months later and says Sanji's on Momoiro to her and Dragon asks how it was to see his boyfriend and Sabo is so pleased. Robin politely threatens him with stringing his entrails across the grand line and into the the depths of hell if he hurts her baby brother. Sabo chokes as Dragon starts laughing. She also tells him he shouldn't necessarily be worried about her but their brother who she also doesn't name. Sabo asks why she's so creepy and Dragon hits him for that.

After the time skip Ace joins and is all over Sanji and Robin looks unimpressed at him and Luffy and doesn't explain why. Luffy has not figured out they're siblings. Ace hasn't either. Then on Punk Hazard when Law starts traveling with them Law is looking at the brother's hanging off Sanji and then keeps throwing glances at Robin. Sanji is throwing apologetic looks to them as he pulled between the brothers and trying to calm them down as the anger and annoyance in his siblings is growing. Sanji feels like he's going to be skinned alive.

Obviously after Dressrosa when they're in the cabin after the split and Sabo is there and saying hi to Robin and his brothers and asks Ace if he got a threat from Robin yet. Ace is confused as he tells Sabo he and Luffy have not had any threats from Robin, why would they and Sabo is like 'she threatened me over Sanji, not fair' which makes Ace look at Robin in fright. Sabo repeats what she said to him verbatim and says that their brother would threaten them worse which makes Law nod and say they don't call him the surgeon of death for nothing.

Luffy is so lucky to be sleeping as Sabo quietly leaves and wishes the two of them luck. Law looks at Robin and asks if they'll ever fix his and Sanji's bounties as they were the two helping Robin run when they were younger and Robin says she doesn't know and Ace points out Garp never arrested Sanji whenever they were at Baratie and Law asks why Sanji was at Redleg's restaurant. The sigh of exasperation from Law and the laugh from Robin at finding out Garp dates Zeff makes too much fucking sense that they didn't consider it and that's also how Law and Robin find out about the rock.

Law throws his hands in the air and says that if the cook could stop getting starved that'd be cool and Robin says Law and Sanji's eating habits could be far better than what they were. Zoro is laughing so hard he's wheezing at the affronted look between the two. Usopp is practicing his breathing techniques. He is a brave warrior of the sea. He is a brave warrior of the sea. He is so glad he's not dating Sanji and Kaya is waiting for him because fuck that mess.

Law and Robin find out Sanji has been kidnapped by the Vinsmokes when they get to Zou as Luffy excitedly tells everyone that Law and Robin are Sanji's siblings. Ace asks if Robin and Law know about the Vinsmokes and they admit they do, though not much. Just that Sanji was declared dead at six and in the dungeons until he escaped at eight and found them. They don't mention the helmet. The crews are staring at them wide eyed. Bepo starts crying because he hasn't seen Sanji yet and he's gone back to his birth family. Law and Robin assure him he was taken by force which equals kidnapping. Bepo calms down at that but that does make Shachi and Penguin lose it. Robin laughs as Law groans and pinches the bridge of his nose.

Ace goes with the rescue team and Robin doesn't, she assures Law as they go to Wano it'll be fine. Sanji has two of his boyfriends going to save him. Zoro asks how they all ended up together as the crews are getting ready to depart so they tell the story and Luffy and Ace tell the story of them dating Sanji, Zeff and Garp and all that. Law sighs and Robin shakes her head. Bepo makes Luffy promise to bring Sanji back, Law is standing back and to the side of Bepo with a cocked brow and Luffy is like 'duh of course I will' and Bepo nods and they all leave.

Then a few weeks later in Wano when the rescue team and Jimbei come. It still takes time for the crews to have a minute to all be together and Bepo and Shachi and Penguin are all hanging off Sanji while Ace and Luffy look jealous. But then Sanji has Ace and Luffy with him almost constantly and Law and Robin roll their eyes, Law looks disgusted at some points. Then the raid of Onagashima happens and Ace has a nose bleed at Sanji being in his suit and Law shambles Sanji away from them.

After they leave Wano Sanji calls Law and Robin to the denden of the Sunny and they call Zeff and he introduces his siblings to the man he considers his father. When Zeff hears who his siblings are he is praying in another language and Sanji is laughing as he translates. Law is smiling and Robin is giggling because Zeff is losing it. He is saying this makes too much fucking sense and goes along well with why he dates those three boys. All of it.

「Headcanons of Law snd Kid with a mangaka S/O who ate a devil that gave them the ability to turn parts of someone’s bosy into notebook pages full of secrets and information.」

♤ When Law first brought you in, it was only because everyone had spread rumors about how you were a devil. He first met you in your hometown where you were just sitting under the tree and drawing your sketchbook for fun. Of course, Law was intimidating because he was a pirate and you thought that he was gonna rob you. However, after interacting with him for a bit, you grew to like his presence. You loved hearing tales of his adventures and Law seemed to like your company which led him to recruit you.

♤ Even though you helped around the ship occasionally to prove your worth to Law, you wanted to do more than that. Law wasn't really bothered by it, telling you that you didn't really have to do anything but you protested and tried to take on more responsibilities. In the end, he suggested using your drawing skills to illustrate the adventures that the crew had been on. You didn't have that much confidence and rarely showed the crew what you'd drawn. Even Law has never seen your work but he doesn't mind at all.

♤ Law first learns that you had a devil fruit when you fell overboard during a storm and couldn't swim. Eventually, you explained to the crew about your devil fruit and how you're not very fond of using it. You managed to demonstrate it when Penguin and Shachi wanted to see your quirk in action. Even though it was weird to see their own hands turn into a book, they seemed quite amazed at how detailed the contents of the books were.

♤ Now, Law isn't the most open person and he prefers not to tell everyone about what happened in the past. He's not a talkative person either. He's slightly uncomfortable after knowing that you're capable of reading someone's entire past. Of course, he trusts you, believing that you'd never use your devil fruit on him without consent. However, he thinks that its a great ability for information gathering but will never force you to use your devil fruit if you're against it.

♤ Over time, your relationship with Law steadily bloomed into something romantic. You had confided to Ikkaku who only teased you for being adorable and urged you to confess your undying love to your captain—instead of helping you with your predicament. After a long talk with Ikkaku, you eventually decided to take her advice and tell Law how you felt. You didn't expect him to return your feelings but everything worked out just fine and you were officially Law's girlfriend.

♤ It was a little later that Law discovered your secret manga. You have been drawing it since you started developing feelings for Law and it was something you kept on drawing even after you started dating. He only saw it when you had fallen asleep on your desk. When he walked over to wake you up, he noticed the drawings and how they resembled you and him. You let out a mortified shriek and demanded he looks away. He could only chuckle at your cute reaction, kissing your forehead.

EUSTASS KID

☆ This guy intimidates you. Of course, he does. When he first meets you, he thinks that you're a weirdo, always buried in your little sketchbook. He was initially interested in your drawing skills, seeing how they might prove to be useful someday. Kid sort of just drags you into becoming one of his crew members without your consent. No one expected Kid to be interested in someone like you--no offense. But it was because you were the complete opposite of him.

☆ You definitely do not fit in with the crew. The Kid Pirates were known for dealing with major destruction and civilian casualties. And let's be honest, you've never been in a fight and don't even know how to defend yourself. Even though you looked very out of place, you're always offering the crew a helping hand on menial tasks as if trying to prove yourself to be useful. But Kid always tells you not to worry your pretty little head and just do whatever you want.

☆ The one to fall in love first was you and it takes a while for you to actually win him over. Even though you're the one who fell first, he falls harder. It's a painful experience for his crew, watching the two of you try to impress one another. Kid's confession isn't your usual 'I love you' but more of a 'You're mine, aren't you?!' Honestly, it was just kind of embarrassing because he corners you and confesses to you. He didn't let you go until you tell him how you feel.

☆ Kid is protective and possessive, never the type to shy away from PDA. In fact, he loves flaunting that you belong to him. An arm around your shoulder, having you sit on his lap, kissing you in front of a crowd of people. When the crew is fighting, he's always glancing at you to make sure that you're unharmed. He's much tamer with you, ensuring his tone is a bit softer so you don't think that he's mad at you or anything. Everyone knows that the captain has a soft spot for you.

Finds out you have a devil fruit when you were knocked overboard during a scuffle with the marines. Thanks to Kid being observant and quick decision, you were pulled out of the water in no time. He kind of yells at you for not telling him that you had a devil fruit, throwing a tantrum like a child he is. And all you could do was mumble how you don't really like using it before showing the whole crew what you could do.

☆ Teases the shit out of you the moment he sees what you've been secretly working on the entire time. He will hold the book above your head while you attempt to reach for it. But how could you when he was just so much taller than you are? Once he skims through it, he finds himself smiling at the drawings, you drew almost everything. The dates you went on together and the secret getaways, he finds it all drawn there.

Job on the team: One of the drivers. If not, she stays behind to do a analysis of the case being done (teaming up with Mia to do a lot of it) but she is also a bit of a fighter. She’s got a strong punch to her and will lead a chase downtown if needed!

Background information, facts and etc

In 2001, she met Brian O’Conner on the beachside due to sweet charming looks across from each other and a few days introduced herself to him properly. It was a start to a beautiful friendship, but Val would she had a crush on the darling blonde. Then she got the chance to introduce Brian to her sister, Mia and sparks flew! God, she teased her sister about it so much!

Dom wasn’t very happy about it, but invited Brian into the crew but Vince wasn’t having any of it which cause problems between Val and him. Claiming that Brian was a low leveled cop! Val wasn’t pleased with that idea but it later became true, as Brian revealed himself to Mia and Val that he in fact, is a cop. Things happened, causing the 3 of them to save their friends and family from being total waste in the highway and Brian and Dom fought then raced off to find revenge for a death of a friend. Finding plenty of respect for each other.

In 2009. Val, Dom and Letty went to the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 for a few jobs, find some peace and quiet, along adventures meeting more family members as well! However Letty died trying to clear Dom’s name with Brian and Val’s help, resulting in a return to the US. Along with a new heist and a return to old faces! Brian and Mia reunited, rekindling their romance, Dom met a new member of their team Giselle in Mexico 🇲🇽 , Val reunited with her sister and future brother in law and they tried to frame the criminal gang in the process. However Dom’s name wasn’t cleared yet but they decided to break him out and start a new lifestyle on the run, the best they can.

In 2011! 2 years on the road and running around until they landed in Brazil 🇧🇷 and still on the FBI most wanted list for prisoners of the USA 🇺🇸. They played low and trying not to draw too much attention to themselves while Dom headed out to do jobs, Mia, Val and Brian stayed protecting each other with Vince help (since he lived in Brazil with his wife and baby boy). Mia was noticed by Vince’s wife and her sister Val one night that she was off and a little sick, she was pregnant with Brian’s baby! After being chased down by Hobbs, Elena and their crew around the countryside and across rooftops, Mia revealed her pregnancy to the small group of 4 saying they have to stick together now especially with their families about to get bigger, Val couldn’t agreed more coming up with a plan as the boys agreed taking the plan one huge step further.

Dom, Brian, Val and Mia planned a huge heist to getaway with a safe full of money in one of Brazil’s bank houses and a team involved, calling everyone they knew. Dom called Han and Giselle, Val called Leo and Santos, Brian called up Tej and Roman while Mia found the perfect safe spot to meet up, eat, sleep and do business! Everyone met up after a few days and the plan was set in motion. Roman flirted with Val while Tej compliment the girl during the work, it was all fun and games, even Mia and Brian teased the trio. They whole group raced, almost got caught many times by Hobbs even earning his respect eventually, they all had plenty of fun, prepared and trained for the heist.

Taking turns for certain roles, joking around so fun, the job becomes like a crazy fun stunt. Val, Mia and Tej were behind the steel safe to replace with a special handprint to break into and switch off, and keeping track of the views and incoming threats during the city heist while everyone else stayed in positions driving alongside one another. They thought they wouldn’t make it out of there alive but they did! As they all were able to steal $100 million dollars in a bank vault to share on individual accounts.

Everyone went they’re own separate ways with their earnings from the $100 million dollar, using it for whatever they wanted. Valentina used hers to go traveling around the world, a long vacation for at least longer than two months. She stayed first in Brazil a little longer and went back to Dominican Republic. She went to Italy, Paris, Rome and of course flew to see her family. Seeing Elena and Dom who started a relationship a while back and saw her pregnant sister and Brian on the beachside.

However when she was in Italy on the beachside, sipping a cold freshly opened beer and eating a plate of fruits, she met someone. “Is there seat taken, miss?” Asked the man with a slight raspy voice and a gentle inviting grin. Valentina pulled down her sunglasses to get a better look at the tall man who stood next to her in white button down exposing his tone arms, dark sunglasses, wearing white shorts and no shoes as his feet dipped into the warmth of the sand. She smiled, “Not at all, take a seat.”

He nodded smiling and took a seat beside the woman on the long chair, “Thank you, darling.” Valentina pulled out another beer offering it to the man who took it with kindness and gratitude. She smiled softly, “It’s the least I can do.” “What are you doing here for?” “Hmm, vacation. I needed a break from it all and maybe need a meet few new faces. You?”

The man smiled taking in her natural tan and glow that radiated from her, a welcoming warmth from her as she saw dressed in a dark brown bikini top with brown shorts to match. A nice contact from his own closest of clothes he brought for travels. It took him a moment before he answered, “Work. I came for a job with a client who needed me to help him. Now I’m taking in the gorgeous view.” Valentina blushed looking down at her drink in hand and smiled, “Before you start, you got a name?” “Deckard Shaw, love.”

Valentina smiled holding out a hand to shake in which Deckard gladly took, bringing his lips up to her knuckles gently and said, “Who you got a name, love?” She smiled softly, “Valentina Toretto but everyone calls me, Val.” “Then you call me, Deck.” “Nice to meet you, Deck.” “Very nice to meet you, Val.”

The pair talked the whole afternoon though on the beach, sipping beers and martinis while snacking on fruits and nuts. Deckard even offer to buy her dinner, in which she obliged as they went to the hotel to change into suitable clothes for the restaurant near the beautiful beaches on Italy as they ate. Deckard smiled, “How long are you staying for?” Val shrugged, “For as long as i want.” “There has to be a timeframe there, love.” “A week, dear.”

Deckard smiled, “That’s more like it. I’ll be leaving in a few days but I’ll glad love to take you around.” Valentina grinned, “I’ll love that, very much. When do we start?” “You’ll have to ask me that again the morning, after breakfast.” “Let’s enjoy tonight then.” The two shared a few glasses of champagne as they enjoyed the rest of their night together. Heading back to the hotel room to continue their lovely conversations and take in the lovely view of the place.

The morning was something else to say the least. Valentina woke up underneath the white covers in a empty bed as the morning daylight of the balcony shined though the curtains. She smiled softly and blushed with pinky cheeks looking around, “Morning, lovely..” Deckard stepped out of the bathroom shirtless having woken up less than a few minutes earlier as he leaned down to press against her lips, “Good morning, beautiful..how’d you sleep?”

Val giggled ignoring his questions, “Your a bad influence Deck. I barley do anything like this…” Deck chuckled leaning towards the headboard of the bed, “Neither do i..But it’s vacation, i enjoyed it and I didn’t hear you complain about it.” “I blame the music playing last night from the balcony.” “Yeah, sure you do. We can blame the music.”

The next few days were a blast to be having together, enjoying dinner, running for shelter after some fallen rain, swimming in water after sharing drinks on the beach, walking down the streets of Italy and sadly it all came to a close. Both went their separate ways, hoping to keep in touch for the next time they’re on vacation, however neither of them knew if and when they would see each other again…

In 2013, another issue flown to the surface as Hobbs announced a new heist to be taken place with the crews help. Along with Letty’s return, she’s alive and working for the other team. So plans were made and both crew came aggressively against the threat known as Owen Shaw and his teammates, Val and Mia were kidnapped however thankfully they were able to save them, bring Letty home and stop the criminal case of Shaw and his crew. Everyone went back home to their lives together as a family unit once again, going on leave for work and vacation time of course.

Then 2015 came around and everything turned upside down. Valentina was on a small break from working with Tej as his co-worker and friend at the garage, as she flew down to Mexico when she saw Deckard again. The two smiled softly and decided to join each other on a small vacation from it all, until Deckard was told about his brother being in the hospital, Valentina didn’t know much about his family and neither did he know much of hers. Valentina was also called in by own brother to help take care of things at home. The pair went to take care of their own family members. Dom and Val were helping Mia, Brian and their son Jack with moving boxes to the van, when a sudden package arrived at the front door, just as Dom went to open it a call came in saying he was coming for Dom and his family..the house was blown to pieces. It was Deckard Shaw, as he was after the family for revenge on his brother and also on the hunt for a job to do.

Val nor Brian didn’t know much or that it was Deckard until later on during a chase in the woods. Which lead to Roman being a huge scared for jumping out a plane and Val being stuck in the car into a plane with him. Tej joked, “What happened Roman I thought you were strong and afraid of anything? This was your stupid idea!” Roman barked back, “Shut up, Tej! Since when do y’all actually listen to me?! I’mma stay here with Val. Y’all go ahead.”

Val started to fight back both of her idiot friends and eventually taking the wheel, with Tej’s help who controlled a switch to the car, as they road onto the streets of the highway in the woods. As they were driving behind the crew, out of nowhere Deckard appeared locking eyes with Valentina before speeding off behind towards Dom’s car. To say she was confused and pissed was a understatement!

Shit went down afterwards as they had to save a few kidnapped family and friends, cracking the codes to a few systems to find Deckard and also help their new member recruited, Ramsey. Again, Valentina was stuck with Roman undercover! She loved the man to death but god damn she wanted to something punch him for being stupidly loud and such.

Deckard arrived in a elevator as he stanched her up with him yelling, “What the bloody hell are you doing here?!” Valentina yelled back, “I swear to god—Did you know about this?!” “That your brother hurt my brother?! Yes i found out a week ago, darling! I didn’t know you were involved in any of this..you knew about he was my brother?” “No! There wasn’t any connection between you guys and your last name are pretty common, I’m sorry i didn’t respond or know about that. You can’t blame me for this…”

He looked down holding his rather large gun in one hand and grabbed her hand gently with the other, pressing a little kiss to her knuckles. He sighed, “Promise me, you’ll stay safe…?” She sighed, “..yes, I will.” Valentina slapped Deckard across the face before walking out of the elevator to play her role with Roman.

It was fine until shit hit the fan again as Dom and Brian came out in a fire engine red sports car, Letty came flying in after fighting a Russian guard and Deckard came in shooting the place up. Roman grabbed her by the waist, picking Val up and ran off to safely as they screamed, “Y’all are the reason I’m always on vacation! You drive me rut sometimes!”

Hours later, Dom and the crew found Deckard and his so called friends in a old warehouse as another fight broke out one another one, it could’ve made someone’s head spin. Dom and Val even got into a huge rushed and heated argument about their own family’s safety and The Shaw Family future after being caught, that was slowly settled down once they found ground in California. No one was happy, however they had a job to do for keeping Ramsey safe.

It was settled team A was to keep Ramsey safe teamed up in cars, playing TAG, team B who was Brian was dislocating the connection between cars and internet for they can’t be tracked by any other means necessary, and team C was fighting against Deckard Shaw. Correction, Dom was fighting him! Midway through the search and play of TAG with Ramsey, Valentina switched cars with Roman and Tej, racing off to the building that held Brian working on the power grid. That was her good friend, brother-in-law and nephew’s daddy of course she was gonna get her ass to that building and help kick some ass with him! And they did just that, Val and Brian kicked ass while trying their hardest to quickly finishing the adjustment on the power grid for Tej and Ramsey.

They were on the rooftop connecting the wires and directing the connection toward there friends when out of the corner of her, Val saw it loud and clear. A block away, two cars rivaling against each other with pounding of the groundwork shaking behind them and the sounds of shouting was heard. The pair raced off towards the building and blocking out a chasing threats toward them. Brian turned his head to watch running as he started yelling in his walkie-talkie at the crew as the building there the cars where started to collapse on itself with the men in it.

Cars went flying! Val wasted no time as she appeared with Letty and Hobbs at the scene, Deckard and Dom battling it out until both were on the groundwork on the streets. Suddenly it was dust and rumble in the air, no one can see as more helicopters with explosive waves of shock…Dom was out cold and Deck was gone hiding in the back of the it all, seeing all the looks at their faces. Deckard sighed as from afar he saw Valentina’s upset glares. Brian tried CPR on Dom as Letty sobbing screamed to get off of him, Val started crying in Roman’s arms as Tej held Ramsey while Hobbs looked at the crime scene in sorrow, noticing Deckard but waited for a moment. Letty sobbed begging and hoping, mumbling something only of of the group hear until Dom finally woke up.

A few weeks or so past, everyone started getting situated back home, rebuilding the home everyone knew and loved to have a simple BBQ. Mr. Nobody who hired them originally settled on calling them when needed for missions, Hobbs placed Deckard behind bars threatening him strongly. The two were at each other’s neck, Valentina smirked watching it all, pissed off at what Deckard done and how far both men went to end up where they are today. Deckard looked down unable to face her until after a while on standing in his cell block, he screwed up and tried getting revenge for his family, knowing they both care deeply about family and would do anything for it. The pair talked with Hobbs standing by protectively before it was settled down to not see each other for a long time…

She returned home to see her family with grins and smiles, kissing her nephew and talking with Mia as Dom and Brian joked about god knows what. Before they all headed out to beachside for some sun with the rest of their family. They spent hours just enjoying themselves, until a moment of peace and love came as they looked around. Roman, Tej, Ramsey, Dom, Val and Letty all watched as Brian, Mia and their son, Jack played along the coast of the water in pure joy. It was beautiful, Dom told them he will be back and drove off, Brian noticed Dom drove off with a grin and raced off behind him to join his best friend, his brother, his family.

Top 5 One Piece characters and why? (i love hearing ppls reasons for loving characters hhngng)

1. Sanji - WHAT A FUCKING TWIST I just really love the extremely unique way his kindness is portrayed and really love his whole journey of pain and healing due to all the kindness he's found in life - something he'd never take advantage of nor take for granted. Watch my Sanji video if you want the full rundown ig DJGHG

2. Law - ANOTHER TWIST no but Law's story cut so intensely deep. The way he was so hurt that Doflamingo saw the perfect target to take advantage of and began to groom him into a monster as vile as himself. Until with only just a LITTLE BIT of kindness, with Corazon just treating him as a HUMAN, Law immediately mellowed out to the point he didn't even want to leave Corazon's side. It's also the fact Law still does speak and act in ways Doflamingo taught him at times and it's so FUCKED UP but through his own crew and meeting Luffy, he's finally able to grow as his OWN person with no restraints.

3. Nami - She's just so incredibly strong and a character I can both really admire and relate to. Her need to do everything herself due to being basically raised under an abuser (yeah think about that for a moment) and deciding SHE'S the only one she can count on until meeting LUFFY. But the fact she NEVER loses her wit or anger or violent tendencies even while healing and being in a better place makes me so happy. She's never been reduced down to waifu mush and has always been an extremely proud person.

4. Zoro - The contrast of his cool looks compared to his goofy nature makes me love him a lot. Zoro's story is extremely realistic in the fact he was just a kid dealing with grief for the first time upon losing Kuina. In my opinion, Zoro never grieved healthily, and this whole journey of carrying Wado and becoming the greatest swordsman is a prolonged form of grieving. He's putting so much pressure on himself in an unhealthy way, because he's really not doing a damn thing for himself, and watching the way he's developed with the loss of a dearly loved one is painfully real. But it's why, when he's with Luffy and the Strawhats, it's why when he can fight with Sanji as if he's ten years old again, it's extremely cathartic. It feels to me as if he's finally living a life and indulging in joys he's denied himself due to the duty of upholding his promise to Kuina.

5. Luffy - Man there's just so much to say about this fucker. His biggest fear of being alone that formed this electric personality he's got. This magnetic pull he has on people that gives them hope and makes them smile. His selfishness being an oxymoron due to his selfish desires being to help people. His whole idea of doing a good thing for someone who has done a good thing for you, even if that good thing is taking down a whole ass warlord or emperor! It's so much, I really love Luffy, and I need to save these points for later videos lol

Creep (Kid Version)

But beside music, booze and food, y/n meets a creepy dude with too much confident. Luckily, Kidd is there to safe the day. Pronouns: he/him cw: creepy dude, violence

The Kid Pirates had just completed a stressful fight, and their captain Eustass Kid decided that everyone deserved a night off, letting off some steam. So they docked at a port and made their way to a crowded bar.

The crew were laughing and sipping on drinks as they all mingled with the bar patrons. However, y/n, one of their newest crewmates, was getting more anxious with every passing moment. The reason? A man at the bar kept hitting on him, and it was clear y/n was not interested.

y/n tried to ignore the man, the comments and looks as much as possible, but there was just so much one could endure. Nothing he said helped to move away from the annoying, creepy man, and y/n got more and more nervous, angry and stressed.

Even a few drinks in, Kid noticed that something was off, he didn't like the way the person was looking at y/n, how he touched him, talked to him, and he could sense that his crewmate was uncomfortable af.

Without hesitation, Kid walked over to y/n, tapped him on the shoulder to not alarm him more before put his arm around him. "Hey, y/n, leave this creep be and drink some beers with us" he said, turning and shoving him towards the table Kid sat on only a few seconds ago and behind him, so that he now stoot between y/n and the stranger.

The man had a few brave seconds, telling Kid to get lost and who he thinks he was, before getting punched in the face by the pirate captain.

"Leave my crewmate alone, creep" Kid said sternly, looking down on the stranger, which laid on the floor, bleeding.

The man now quickly backed off, realizing that he had just messed with a notorious pirate captain that wouldn’t hesitate to do more than break a stranger's nose in one punch. Kid looked at y/n to make sure he was okay, without a further care for the Stranger, or anyone else. Even tho, he would have loved to use the creep as a punching bag more.

"Thanks, captain," y/n said, still looking shaken. "I didn't know how to handle that guy."

Kid gave him a rare friendly smile. "That's what the crew is here for. We watch out for each other. I don't like seeing anyone on my crew feel uncomfortable at a party. That person was definitely giving off some creepy vibes."

“Yeah, it is easier to get rid of the Marine, as such creeps…” “If they don’t take a no as an answer and won’t leave you alone, just punch or kick them. We deal with the rest later, if necessary.”

Kid couldn't help but smile. He had always been a bit rough around the edges, but deep down he had a good heart, even tho nobody would say that in front of Kid. Not if he didn’t have a death wish - or liked pain a lot…

As they made their way back to the table, and now, with y/n by his side, everyone cheered and raised their glasses in solidarity. The evening continued in a relaxed and happy way. It was a night to unwind, to enjoy each other's company, and most importantly, to feel safe.

y/n couldn't help but feel overjoyed. He had found a crew that accepted him for who he was, made him feel safe, and they had his back no matter what. He knew that, with the Kid Pirates, he had finally found his true home. And that thought alone was enough to put a big smile on his face.

This morning I was thinking how to get Niara to Marineford and include her in the canon timeline...

Lot of text under the cut (as well as spoilers), so beware.

So last thing we know is Niara was sailing with Ace and his former crew until they somehow split. I'm not sure if Ginny and Niara exist in the same timeline but if so, they might have known each other too but are not close or anything. I don't think Niara would have supported Ginny's decision to join the marines at all. Perhaps to make this interesting for later, they could have been crewmates and then had a falling out over this the last time they saw each other.

Now, Niara and Ace remain close friends until... perhaps Niara has the opportunity to visit the island her mother was born on (because she needs a valid reason to leave the crew). Let's say her mother's family was not keen on Niara's mother marrying Niara's father and they had very little contact, if all, if her mother after that. So Niara shows up, gets to know them and they all like each other and Niara is reminded of her mother so much and for the first time in a long time feels loved by members of her family. Eventually, the crew has to sail on but with a heavy heart, Niara decidedes to stay a little longer. So she and the others part but she and Ace promise each other they will see each other again and that Niara can come back anytime.

Niara's time with her mother's family is great and she gets along especially great with her grandparents who adore her. She stays way too long, knowing that they're old and by the time she will be able to come here again, they might not be around anymore. But she also starts to long for adventures on sea again and also fears that one day her father or siblings could show up here to arrest her. She hasn't gotten a bounty yet but they know what she's been doing, so she is worried.

Niara's grandfather tells her to train her powers better. She has barely scratched the surface of what her devil fruit powers can do! But for her, that only reminds her of her father forcing her to eat the devil fruit and trying to turn her into someone she's not, a logia fruit user set for a navy career, quickly rising to the highest marine ranks. While Niara does train, she still refuses to try and fully awaken her powers, saying this is never what she wanted to become.

Eventually, her grandfather helps her to get onto a ship and she travels to Sabaody with them, ready to join another crew or, better yet, join up with her old one again. But they are no more and Ace is now with Whitebeard and everyone has moved on without her. Niara feels that she, too, has to make a name for herself now and joins a crew in Sabaody.

Long story short, they make it into the new world but get beaten pretty soon and join the ranks of the crew that has beaten them. Niara does make friends there, but her heart is not really in it. The new world is different in so many ways and she realizes that perhaps she does have to train a lot more.

Then she gets the news of Ace's imprisonment and is devastated. Of course she can't march into Impel Down to set him free but she tries to convince her current crew to go to Marineford but they refuse. So Niara splits with them and tries to get there on her own, knowing she has very little chance to archive anything but she can't let it go either.

Marineford happens... Niara is there fighting... I do want Ace to see her being there fighting for him... but... she's not strong enough and eventually, just gets knocked out. Her being there and being recognized earns her her first bounty though. She does get saved and that's when she first meets Luffy. I think I want her to get saved and brought on the Polar Tang when Luffy is taken there in the end, so she can later form a bond with Luffy and meet Law for the first time.

Eventually, while being on Boa Hancock's island, Niara and Luffy bond over their loss and when Luffy makes the decision to meet up with his own crew in two years after everyone has become stronger, he tells Niara she can join too if she wants. Niara takes the opportunity to get some training too and after the timeskip, she joins the strawhat crew.

Her getting to know Law better won't happen until Punk Hazard.

I think it works better if Niara joins after the timeskip while having Neri be with the Strawhat Crew from more or less the beginning.

Okay disclaimer first Rena is sooooo self indulgent like. Deeply mary sue oc that i have stuck into canon events because im already cringe enough to make a one piece oc i might as well go all out on it. I deeply deeply hope this doesnt show up in any actual op tags but if it does i Apologize please just scroll by fjdnxnx

OKAY SO DONQUIXOTE RENA.... Is the daughter of Rosinante and a different less important oc named Seraphima. Rosi is the brother of a major one piece villain named Doflamingo. Theres like a whole arc i wont get into cause its not important for this mess but Doflamingo killed their father like. Right infront of Rosi when they were kids. Rosi ran away and was found by the Fleet Admiral of the marines, Sengoku. Sengoku raised Rosi like a son. Later on when Rosi is older he is sent on an undercover mission to take down his brother. During that he finds the young traumatized character Law, redirects all his energy into saving and protecting him. Which he does but Doflamingo kills him for it.

SO WITH THAT BRIEF RUNDOWN OUTTA THE WAY. Rosi left on his mission to take down Doflamingo shortly after Rena was born. This was to be his last job as a marine, then hed retire and raise his daughter with his wife and all would be great. Obviously this did not happen. However, Doflamingo didnt know Rosi had a family- if he did he probably would have hunted them down and killed them too. So to prevent this, Renas mom changed their last name to hers and enlisted Rena into the marines so she could be on the "good" side. She became Sengokus like.. right hand, being his basically granddaughter and all. And she was a prodigal shot too. She rose through ranks and made a name for herself pretty fast.

But she was very conflicted about the whole thing. She knew of her father, probably wrote to him or spoke to him on the phone (the snail???). But she never met him. The first time she ever actually saw him in flesh was his funeral. And yes Doflamingo did that, and she deeply hates him for it. But also.... Who the hell sends a new father on a mission like that? She cant help but feel that its the marines fault she never got to meet him. Just as much as its Doffys. And that feeling only intensified when Doflamingo was welcomed under the Marines wing as a warlord, and she just had to sit silently and accept that. Over the years too, since she was always by the fleet admirals side, she heard a lot more of the marines less heroic dealings. Like defending slavers in Sabaody (which is also the first she ever really started to look at Kidd and Killer hehehe). All of this culminated in the war at Marineford, where she just couldnt accept this absolutely useless war where marines were slaughtering a man who just wanted his son back. So when Shanks showed up to stop it, she approached him and offered anything she could give to just have a lift to the next island. Shanks loves raggedy ass kids so he was like lol yeah and smuggled her outta Marineford. Thus she gained her first poster, not a wanted poster at all but a missing poster for Vulpes Rena. She hated it.

Anyway Shanks drops her off in the new world. Hes nice and all but he has no room for a newbie ex marine on his crew. Good luck kid! But that's fine, Rena had her eyes on joining the Heart Pirates, captained by Law. She recognized the name from some reports she found in Sengokus desk from her father. So she knows he has some kind connection, and she wants to know what it is. By some divine providence she does end up finding him, and convinces his first mate (my friends oc lol) to take her to him to talk. Law accepts her as soon as he finds out shes Rosis kid. Feels he owes it to her, since he kinda led to her dad dying and all.

The two end up with a sibling like relationship. Like refer to eachother as brother and sister, since Rosi was definitely adopting Law if all had gone according to plan. When Law leaves to face down Doflamingo, Rena follows because god damn it you are NOT telling her she cant get a punch in on the man who shot her dad. And she does get a shot in!!! And then promptly gets her ass handed to her cause like girl lmao. Still. Bonding time for her and Law lmao. Luffy eventually defeats Doffy and afterwards she takes her (Rosis) last name back. Shes Donquixote Rena, thank you very much!

In Wano her mission was to keep an eye on Basil and figute out what he was doing and thats when she met Killer officially ooooOooOOoooOo. Tbh im still working on that part in my official canon but idk they make out, get arrested, meet back up with Kidd, make out again. Etc

Lets see other Rena facts...

- She is so fucking clumsy. She inherited it from Rosi. Her crew makes her keep a life ring with her on deck cause she constantly topples over the edge and cant swim

- Shes a devil fruit user!! The Calm Calm fruit (also Rosis lmaooo) which means she can make anything in a radius around her or anything she touches completely soundless. Been trying to work out an Awakened version of it cause shes due for a powerup but cjdnd

- Shes a marksman/sniper! She has on her person at all times atleast two pistols, and will usually have her rifle "Silent Night"

- She eventually joins the Kidd Pirates to be with Killer (and Kidd) and is their ship doctor (she picked up a few things from Law and well... They cant do much worse)

- She loves pop music its so embarassing

- I gave her my fear of albatrosses. Get wrecked pirate girl

- she has a playlist but its a huuuuge work in progress lmao
