My fave bird is and will always be the crane. There is something magical about them. I grow up near a nature park called Kvismaren where thousands of them gather eatch year and it is always just as magical.

KVASIR GOD OF WISDOM.

Kvasir was created when the Æsir and Vanir made peace after spitting in a cauldron and that salavia later formed in to the god Kvasir. God of wisdom, poetry and later mead. He wondered the world's spreading his wisdom and songs until one day he met two dwarf brothers named Fjalar and Gialar. The two dwarfs then slayed Kvasir and drained his body on its blood and brew it with honey, making the world's first alcohol. The Mead of poets, Kvasermjödet. Óðin did not take it lightly when he heard of Kvasirs death, and even worse was that the dwarfs were now wiser and better poets then the gods! So as gods do Óðin turned himself into a black eagle and flew down to the dwarfs and stole the magic mead by drinking it. The dwarfs tried to stop the giant eagle by grabbing on to his legs as he tried to fly away but seens the eagle was Óðin he just flew away with them. But the dwarf did not let go of his legs no mater what he did. SO WHAT DO A ALL KNOWING KING OF GOD'S DO ?! Well you see Óðin in his eagle form then SH*T out the bad half of the magic mead out of his eagle a*s on the dwarfs, making them let go and falling to there deaths. Óðin then flew home to Ásgarð and throw up the remaining of the mead that once was kvasir in a barrel. The mead he shat out you may wonder? That thing spread over miðgarð as Óðin flew, watering the world and those who only could sing and write the worst of worst poems was said to have gotten some of that bad eagle sh*t mead in them.
