➼ He’s obviously nervous. He doesn’t wanna mess this up, especially in front of someone like you.

➼ He decides to ask you during winter, planning to take you stargazing - believing that stars are prettiest during the winter.

➼ He gets advice from Maki and Shuichi, but of course he’s not gonna tell you that.

➼ So for your first date, you both go to a restaurant - one that isn’t too fancy but it isn’t too casual either.

➼ You can tell that he’s overly tense, so you try to calm him down at the beginning by complimenting his choice of food places - making him untie his nerves just a bit.

➼ If he sees that your hands are cold, he’ll take your hands in his and warm them up using the heat from his hands.

➼ He’ll crack jokes with you - but nothing too vulgar or inappropriate. After all, he has to put on an image that he’s a respectable, well rounded guy you’d love to be with. Not that that’s too hard for him to do.

➼ He says that after eating, he has a surprise for you - just a place you two would be going to together, alone.

➼ As the food arrived, he’d try his best to eat properly - taking small bites and chewing his food properly before speaking. He drinks a lot of water to attempt to get rid of any food stuck in his teeth.

➼ Actually, taking Maki’s advice, he’d brought along a few mints with him to eat after eating dinner, just to make sure his breath was MINTY FRESH for you - .

➼ He’d (without pressuring or forcing you to) get you to talk about yourself, adding in a few things about himself as well.

➼ After dinner and paying, he drives you over to the spot; a well secluded spot with very few trees in the way - a perfect place to see the sky and all the stars decorating the vast darkness above.

➼ He’d brought a few blankets, and so he put them on the grass so that the two of you could sit and watch the stars together. He wrapped the extra blanket around you two, so that at least both of your body heats could help each other warm up a bit in the cold.

➼ He also brought a little speaker to play music (Shuichi’s idea) a telescope (also Shuichi’s idea, even though Kaito said that he’d known that already), and two thermoses full of a certain hot beverage (your choice on what that beverage is).

➼ It certainly was a nice scene, as you both enjoyed each other’s presence.

➼ Kaito would point out different star patterns and shapes, explaining his passion for going to space and seeing these much more closer than down here.

➼ He’d casually wrap his arm around you, pulling you a little closer to him.

➼ He’s so nervous and blushes a lot

➼ Finally, after gaining some confidence and seeing Maki and Shuichi’s reassuring thumbs ups he’d direct your face to look at him and lean in for a kiss - the first kiss you’d both ever had with each other, actually.

➼ He tries to keep the kiss up for a long time and succeeds, and once you two pull away, he smiles softly at you - proceeding to talk about why he’s so happy to be here with you right now.

➼ And so, the stress of the world and all the weight given to the both of you were drowned away by the comforting talks you shared with each other - spilling into the rest of the night…
