Blue Sargent can be the strongest of all against male manipulator music but you know she is WEAK for ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ (Arctic Monkeys)
male manipulator music is what you hear when that pretentious guy with silver rings and a patagonia pullover wants to show you his vinyl collection. many albums fit this description, but we're out to find the most iconic one 🫶

rating music pls dont hate me #5 | the queen is dead - the smiths
welcome to the first ever throwback review! every five entries i will look into the significant albums from the past (totally not a stolen idea). today, we are reviewing the smiths’ magnum opus - the queen is dead. one of my favorite records of the 80s.
this is my favorite indie album of all time, and my favorite one out of the smiths discography. i just love the unique soundscape here, it is soft but sarcastic. i don’t rlly have much to say about this album either than: the queen IS dead frfr.
best track: there is a light that never goes out - i want to play this song while step dancing with a lover, if i even have one.
tracks that i rec listening: the queen is dead, i know its over, cemetry gates (its misspelled and its morrisey’s fault), bigmouth strikes again, the boy with the thorn on his side, vicar in a tutu
worst track: never had no one over - this one is boring overall
overall score 9/10 - this is all opinion so pls no hate
