༉‧₊˚. ─ in general, i'd say that everyone at first believed it had something to do with a stand; at best yours and at worst that of an enemy who has you in its sights.

༉‧₊˚. ─ however, once you explain to them that your collection is genuinely one of haunted dolls, well, there'll be various reactions depending on the member.

༉‧₊˚. ─ again, in a broader context, they find it a considerably positive thing that you've some extra security in your home apart of them in their occassional visit. not to mention the certain fear that it gives to see them looking you directly in the eyes, as if cursing you for life…

༉‧₊˚. ─ now, more specifically:

༉‧₊˚. ─ RISOTTO thinks the dolls are cute, it reminds them of a somewhat similar collection that his nonna (grandma) had, which he liked to look at every time he went to see her at her house.

༉‧₊˚. ─ PROSCIUTTO doesn't care much. in truth, to him they are simply another method of protection that you use. yes, he's grateful that you've them, but they're not something he'll pay much attention to if you don't mention them or they do something that catches his attention.

༉‧₊˚. ─ PESCI was somewhat afraid at first. their appearances are kind of cute, but the fact that they're haunted doesn't help the cause much. luckily, as time goes by she gets used to them and loses her fear of them.

༉‧₊˚. ─ GHIACCIO finds them somewhat terrifying, in the sense that he doesn't understand why when you find some haunted dolls on your way, decide to buy them and, as if it were the most normal thing in the world, you decide to create a collection of them. weren't there simpler things to have a collection? like, for example, normal dolls? generally speaking, he prefers to act as if they don't exist, unless it's necessary to do otherwise.

༉‧₊˚. ─ MELONE is genuinely interested in them. that's, how is it possible for dolls to be haunted? from a scientific point of view it's true that this is a really intriguing topic. and even that, he tends to ignore them most of the time in favor of paying attention to you.

༉‧₊˚. ─ ILLUSO loves them, more than necessary for sure. i's not the kind of dolls he'd have in a collection, but they genuinely look cute and keep you good company in his absence.

༉‧₊˚. ─ it took FORMAGGIO some time to get used to seeing them walk so calmly around your house as if nothing had happened; reaching the point where on one occasion he entered your house without knocking and was almost attacked by two of them. luckily you were there to stop them.

idk if your still gonna answer asks about the situation but as a fellow trans person i need to explain something that i'm noticing a lot of people are not understanding (don't worry this isnt at you or anyone upset with cal) i'm seeing quite a few people go "she's sticking to her beliefs and being respectful! she's not being transphobic so what's the big deal!?" and i genuinely want the people saying this to read this post and take into consideration on why this doesn't make the situation any better her belief is a very outdated and also dangerous one because believing that there can only be a male and a female invalidates so many people (trans, enby, non-binary, intersex etc) and those beliefs can cause actual harm to people to the point of literal hate crimes, i'm sorry but you guys shouldn't give her a pat on the back for "sticking to her beliefs" because her beliefs are very, very harmful and i've even seen other christens disagree with her and try to explain to her why this is bad

secondly; there's also how she called trans people a label and used the term in quotation marks, we are not a label we are living breathing human beings who want to be happy with ourselves and have a right to exists thirdly and there's the elephant in the room... the twitter likes and follows, it's proven many times that cal has liked straight up horrible transphobic and homophobic tweets and even follows people like matt walsh who want lgbtq+ people dead, if anyone defending her didn't know about the twitter stuff then that's fine but if you did and still defend her then it's clear you guys are beyond help closing statement: the reason why people are very upset with cal is that she lied to so many trans people in the community with a cut and dry example of being two-faced, you simply cannot say you respect trans people and interact with them while also going out of your way to have a low-key transphobic belief, liking transphobic stuff and following transphobic people especially when undertale and deltarune cannonicly have lgbtq+ character (cal even drawing said lgbtq+ characters like undyne for example which i find rich since i've heard she doesn't like mlm and wlw ships) and the community having SO MUCH lgbtq+ people this isn't a "lets agree to disagree" situation, this isn't drama either, this is a very serious situation also i've seen people go "she hasn't said any hate in the past!" as an defense, sorry but that doesn't change anything... i think it just makes the fact that she fooled everyone worse anyway sorry for this lengthy asks, i'm too scared to make a post but also i've been very upset about the situation and wanted to get my thoughts out because the way people are defending her without understanding why this is actually very bad is making me facepalm so hard sincerely, a very emotional trans man

I think a lot about how Ronin's Donnie was thinking when he made the discord. Did he even get to see anyone join it? Did he never talk to them? Did he just make it and then close the laptop? Did he finish it right before he died?

Maybe it was after they lost Raph, and Donnie was starting to realize how few of them there were. Maybe he was realizing that the Hamato blood feud never had anything to do with them, and they could have lived out in peace if Splinter hadn't insisted on getting involved, on getting revenge.

Did he realize how alone they were, just the three of them? Did he wonder so much about the what-ifs, about the should-haves, that he went searching for those answers of what that would've looked like? Did he want to find others like them, with better lives than them?

Or did he know? Did he know that he was going to die, and he might leave brothers behind, and that they would need someone. Did he know it would be Mikey? Did he realize his little brother was going to feel so alone and thought "I need to help him"?

Is Donnie the reason that the discord knows exactly which turtles to pull in, and at what time? Or did the discord just become able to do that with so many turtle mystics and connection pulling it all together?

Would Donnie be proud of what he made? Did he even know how big it was going to be? Did he ever even think that he would find someone, or did he just... throw a message out into the void and hope that light would reach someone?

Anyway yeah I think about that a lot.
