i am so tired of interpretations of Zutara that have Katara being Zuko's peace. like??? did you even pay attention to the narrative? Zuko's entire character arc was centered around him having to learn peace for himself. to reach an inner balance without anyone else's help. it's an incredible disservice to try to write them as a beauty and the beast narrative.

also Katara isn't anyone Peace ok? that bitch is crazy. if their relationship dynamic after the war doesn't consist of Zuko trying his hardest to be the zen level-headed leader of a volatile nation only for Katara to roll up every once in a while to spar with him and quite literally let off some steam. I want her to be the only person that can elicit emotion out of him when they're sparring. i want her to make him breath smoke in front of nobles who genuinely pushed him and received nothing in return.
