【 book 6 thoughts ! (2) 】

hello, back at it again w/ more thoughts on book 6 ^^ (this one's a lot longer than the first one so oops)

part : one, two, three, four / ??

[ warning !! spoilers from 6-16 till 6-35 under the cut ]

[ about : ...acting director idia.... ]

i'm sorry. i laughed when he said "i'm the BOSS". like he was doing so good on the intimidating with the "don't you guys know where you are? don't you know who i am?" and then he just HAD to say the cringiest line in all of humankind.

but tbh, it's interesting to see idia's more cynical side pop out. usually he's very self-serving, but that's bc his goals don't involve other people, his goals are usually stuff he does for himself, but after being named acting director, you can see how callous he's acting toward the other dormleaders. usually he would mind his own business in the corner, but now he's holding his ground bc he was given the authority.

DESPITE THAT. the one thing i appreciate is that he keeps on emphasizing not using unnecessary violence. one of the charons was about to blast riddle again, and he was the one who stopped that. idk it was just a gesture that stuck out to me.

[ about : the history lesson ]

it's interesting to hear that idia's family came from such...rich history. i mean, being one of the pillars of enforcement basically ? punishing those who abandoned principals ? that's a heavy cross to bear. especially with the fact that society basically abandoned/forgot them after magic became more well introduced into the world.

also malleus added that they used to lock up overbloters in the island of woe and that it was idia's ancestor who watched over the island. it begs the question, how many overbloters are kept in captivity ? like i'm sure that the old old ones died, but are there those that are alive ? or even the blot monsters of those who have died ? (since, iirc, crowley mentioned that the blot monster can outlast the overbloter if they run out of magic n die)

also. floyd brings up a good point. for an organization that works in secrecy, they sure made a really big ruckus coming in to take the overbloters. he brings up the fact that they probably have a good way of covering up all of this, which begs the question, what kind of cover up will they do ? since this is a magic world, could it be they'll wipe everyone's memories ? of styx and of the people that were taken, so people don't try searching for them ?

crewel scanned jack n yuu for injuries before leading them to where epel + adeuce were. and how he offered to patch up yuu's minor injuries sniffs,,,, he talks tough, about how he's going to teach them a lesson n stuff, but i think it's bc he as an educator feels like he failed. he feels partly responsible for not teaching them how to fight safely ++ that they didn't try to call him for help. and the way he's so protective of them.....dad crewel agenda is actually happening everyoneeee

NOT ROOK. NOT HIM BEING WORRIED ABOUT VIL NOT HAVING SKINCARE I'M ACTUALLY WHEEZINGGG—

tbh i think he's using it as a cover up. ofc he cares about vil deeply. as a person. not just his skin. but like,,,,i do wonder why he's emphasizing the skincare so much. i think he's trying to deflect from the fact that vil could actually be in a dire situation by using the shoot and skincare as a distraction. but. rook honey.....just say you're worried about vil man.....

i do think that rook's plan is. stupid. bc why would he go alone ? he clearly has the means to find the isle of woe, but how is he going to bust through styx security without any back up ? i'm 90% sure he's acting mostly based on emotion, and that's why he's in such a rush to head over there w/o any real plan,,,,,, (sob, i was right,,,in 2-23 he talks abt how he's worried about vil and angry at the styx dudes)

[ about : yuu's plight ]

i feel. really bad for yuu bc of all they went through. first, they lose grim to the blot crystals,,,,they haven't seen him in weeks bc crowley was doing who knows what with him. and then when they do see him, he's in a cage and being taken away w/ the rest of the ob gang.

then, their home gets completely destroyed. that's only the tip of the iceberg, because they watch as their friends fight against this mysterious organization that slowly takes them away, and they can't do anything because...they don't have magic.

they arrive at the infirmary with minimal wounds while their friends are bedridden, and they can't do anything to help them. they're torn between staying and going with rook bc they're afraid they'll just be dead weight,,,,,but going anyway bc of their determination to find grim and get him back. like if you didn't think yuu was resilient before, think again.

[ about : map of the world ]

when you hit 6-23, you can see a map of a portion of twisted wonderland and :000 it's really cool to see ^^ so the closest country to sage island is the "land of dawning". there are names that i recognize n names i don't. obv we know about shaftlands, queendom of roses, and the briar valley. but we don't know anything about the kingdom of heroes, sunshine lands, or the land of dawning. i do wonder if we'll ever get to go there in future events, or if they'll forever remain unexplored.

!! i think his UM is really cool !!! rook calls it weak, but i see it as a very persistent spell, and it fits well with his skillset + personality. and as epel says, it's pretty intimidating. if he has it cast on you, you wouldn't be able to lose him. like ever. and the line he says ?? "come, see if you can flee from me. arrow afar!" that's so rook ? see if you can flee from me, i mean c'mon. the arrow leaving its quiver sound as he casts it, and his confidence is so damn cool >:DD (also we are welcoming rook hunt into the rich boys club. immediately.)

first off. "safe use" of technomantic technology my ASS, y'all walked into a MF SCHOOL and started zapping everyone who retaliated with stunning spells all while wearing anti-magic suits that were wwwayy too much defense for going against teens.

n the phantom database. does that mean they have a database on all the phantoms that they've been able to capture alive ? or do they...keep phantoms from before too ? magical disaster prediction, does that mean predicting overblots ? a lot of questions indeed

all the talk about phantoms has me thinking back to the mines. bc that CLEARLY was a phantom that adeugrimyuu encountered at the beginning of their NRC careers. the question is, who's phantom was it, and why didn't STYX take that phantom in for research if they have eyes and ears everywhere ?

and the fact that even creating phantoms is a rare thing ? on top of overblotting being a rare thing ? i can see why STYX just had to get their hands on our ob gang, given that each of them weren't consumed + manifested phantoms + recovered fine, there might be a link between their obs that even they didn't see.

[ about : utilizing blot safely ]

ok it makes a ton of sense. now hear me out. blot is seen as this unnecessary byproduct to doing magic, and it's also harmful to the mage + those around them. the fact that STYX wants to turn this around and try to figure out a way to use blot is a natural thing. it's the same thing w/ humans in our world turning plastic bottles into ecobricks or animal manure into biofuels, attempting to turn something harmful into something useful is like. mankind's thing.

yk that's a pretty catchy name for the overblot gang. maybe i should start calling them that instead of overblot gang jskfjsdf

[ about : trials w/ riddle, vil, azul ]

okay so the first trial was in a vr space that looked like a virtual space + they were fighting ortho n the charons. they said everything was pretty normal.

they mention a lachesis system,,,,lachesis is the second of the three fates, the one who measures the length of the thread n decides how much time a human has left.

second trial, they're in the cafeteria ? oH GOD they're gonna have them fight the vice housewardens ??? isn't that playing dirty ?? ofc they wouldn't wanna fight against the people they care about. and framing it as them wanting to wrest the dormleader seat from them by dueling just adds to the betrayal !! it's natural that there's an increase in blot production, probably bc of the negative emotions they were feeling in combination w/ having to fight their friends

trial one, vr space once more. since the results are likely the same, i won't go into details about it, but like...how are they measuring blot when they aren't using magic irl ? technically, they're only using magic in the VR world, so how come their blot levels are rising in the real world too ?

trial two, oughhh not ruggie n kalim,,,, ofc leona kingscholar and his sexy brain can see through the illusion that they wove. he starts attacking ruggie right away instead of waiting. (also i'm. his laugh. guys his laugh. ok bye) like whew the amount of levelheadedness and quick thinking this guy has in unknown situations is so ?? cool ??? and then ofc, jamil being very quick on the uptake as well, we are looking at two big brained ppl rn. (not idia getting annoyed at jamileo figuring out the system in one go—)

imma summarize the results down below, just bc it'd be interesting to see everyone's results side by side

riddle:

pros; very quick casting, magic pool larger than avg (might be due to receiving special training when younger; magic pool built up from hard work)

cons; when he's indecisive he uses brute-force to overwhelm the enemy (an inefficient use of power), blot accumulation spikes dangerously with output, mental state is heavily impacted by surroundings (more stressed in trial two, therefore more blot accumulated)

result; high offense, very low defense -> glass canon ranged DPS (ok not idia saying riddle's a glass canon *insert moyai emoji*)

azul:

pros; good grasp over precision and control, takes in surroundings to play support, calm and efficient (could also be using others as shields), utilizes a wide range of spells

cons; slow caster, magic pool insufficient to sustain his range of spells (makes him careful with his spells)

result; cautious fighting style with precision and control -> healer that observes the field from the back

vil:

pros; the icon of stability, high manifestation speed, potency aND his magic pool is substantial, solid in both offense and defense (w/o specialized training), physically and mentally resilient (stress doesn't affect his blot much), unique magic lasts a long time

cons; nothing ??? (they legit did not have anything to say abt vil.)

result; being the icon of stability and consistency -> a tank that calls that shots for the rest of the party

leona:

pros; superior casting speeds, superior magic pool (received extensive magic instruction as a kid), efficient in using magic (tailors spells to enemy output; reduces accumulation of blot), stress didn't have much affect on blot, great mental fortitude

cons; when he does experience intense emotions, it could cause a drastic spike in blot accumulation

result; would be suited for tank but isn't a leader

jamil:

pros; efficiency over speed (similar to azul), quick and precise with defensive magic (due to guarding kalim ?)

cons; constantly worried about his reserves

result; could probably handle being in any position -> melee DPS that supports tank OR healer class

HELLO. what do you mean. by "everyone who's had a run in with STYX goes down the River Lethe" ????? "that system can erase us from anyone's memory and from any data" ??? SO THIS WAS THE. so this was the countermeasure that STYX had built up. which is why they were so ballsy with their invasion of NRC.... (it's sad to think that idia doesn't even want to try making friends, bc in the end, when he becomes a researcher at STYX, all traces of him will get erased in the river lethe, so he sees no point)

omg GRIM beloved omg grim— oh god it's so cruel that he remembered hurting yuu and the first years all fighting for him,,,,the fact that he thinks that he got captured just bc he hurt yuu SNIFFS i swear i am not crying. i swear. i swear i am nOt sad bc he started crying and his voice sounded teary

and now i'm going out of order from the netflix list bc whoever was releasing the episodes in the u.s. decided to do the bananas thing and release an episode between a two-parter

the two-parter i'm saving for the weekend when i can stay up until two complaining about it (bc i'm pretty sure chloe gets a miraculous in these) and not have to worry too much about catching up on sleep bc i can take naps during the day

anyway i didn't like this episode, but at this point i feel like a broken record. and it's not just not liking the episode, but it's about a lot of critiques i have of the show itself.

the set-up was, once again, contrived. if you're hosting someone at your house, like anyone, not even a superstar, and they've never been there, and they ask for the bathroom--why would you say "it's upstairs." and no either 1) specify exactly where it is and how to get there or 2) go up there yourself. esp since it seems like they live at least two stories above the bakery? (i originally thought it was right above the bakery, but i guess i was wrong. do they own the whole building? who lives right above the bakery?)

like in a normal world, no one would just vaguely hand-wave like that. esp if you don't want ppl snooping around your personal room bc they went through the wrong door.

but the fact that it was marinette's room continues the patter of the writers punishing her for existing so that's not great.

it was frustrating how they treated marinette's anxiety over it as well, and that tikki was so dismissive. it felt more like a joke to the writers than something that would actually be incredibly embarrassing.

but i was more frustrated with the whole set-up in the first place.

the solution was creative, i'll give them that. but it was also stupid.

but i will give them having troublemaker take one of ladybug's earrings. that always actually makes me instinctively tense. it's just so good--that slow change back as her earrings beep. it's truly tense. i wonder if they'll ever go anywhere with that.

i always wonder what it looks like for chat noir, since he just has the one ring.

there was something else in the episode that they set up that i wondered if they might go anywhere with it, but i can't remember what it was lmao. i don't think they will. i don't think the writers are that good at their job.

oh yeah, i hated sabine doing those kung fu moves under the guise of "strong independent woman." bc it turned very quickly into racism.

i hate to say this, but i actually really like adrien's budding friendship with marinette. it seems like sometimes he listens to her. though, the fact that he only listen when it involves something he's intimately involved in, like fashion and modeling, i guess it's a bit of a moot point. outside the rest of the narrative, i actually enjoyed the scenes when he's just being a pal to marinette. it was actually sweet.

i just wish marinette could be the same. i really wish her crush on adrien didn't exist and they could just exist as good friends, bc i think they would actually be really good as friends. this is lukanette propaganda, yes.

i really need to start writing these down as i go, bc i keep losing the plot. mostly bc this show doesn't stay in my head for very long. my brain has better things to be thinking about. at this point, the only reason i'm posting about it now is bc of the fact that i'm considering of making a video essay and i figure i should document as much as i can so i can form the thesis of the video essay.

oh yeah, and glad to see chat noir's cataclysm was actually useful this time.

If you feel like it (or if you have drawings of them that you havent posted before), could you please share some of your robin and Libra? Scratch that, even headcanons are great! I just love seeing them so much :') i honestly didnt think id love Libra as much as i do now bc of you 😩👏

Libra is a lovely character and deserves... a lot of love. I am glad I have influenced you into loving him! It was the plan all along, obviously.

It turns out that I have so many things I want to draw about them that I have more headcanons and notes about things to eventually draw than I actually have art of them (also it’s scattered across sketchbooks and I can’t find all I have drawn) but I do have some art to share. For now though, you can take some of the headcanons/things I have listed out to draw later about Robin and Libra.

So for that Awakening AU that I mention often and draw about a lot:

-yes i went ahead and tagged what i think is most of the posts for the au here so if you wanna go through those (I’ll keep looking and trying to make sure it all gets put into the tag)

-their first official meeting occurs as Robin is out for a jog in a local park, she gets distracted by Libra (who’s really just minding his own business working on some sketches in his free time because he likes that) and… jogs herself directly into the little duck pond by the sidewalk track she’s on. As she is thinking to herself “oh man, I hope he didn’t see that” while dragging herself out of the water, she looks up and makes direct eye contact as he’s heading over to help (because of course he DID see the whole thing happen). SHE RUNS. And she later complains to her work friends and Lissa that she embarrassed herself in front of a cute guy.

-speaking of Lissa, she’s friends with both Libra and Robin (though through different social circles; Robin works with Chrom and they became friends and she’s involved in the local church community, where she met Libra) but at this point can’t quite put together that the “cute guy I embarrassed myself in front of” and “the rather nice looking but clumsy jogger I got worried about because I watched her run straight into the lake” are her friends talking about each other. She is also clueless when the two later start talking about other awkward encounters with each other and then even later when they start dating. Something comes up where she asks Robin to come help her run an errand but oh, they’re going to be meeting up with one of her friends, is that ok? And then when they all meet up she’s ready to introduce Robin and Libra, who both start laughing, like “this is who you wanted me to meet? We already know each other! I thought you knew!” [cue Lissa yelling] [cue further yelling from Lissa when she realizes that they’re romantically involved]

-the proposal happens very accidentally, in a bad case of “decided to get the ring today, was gonna plan when to actually propose, got invited on an impromptu walk in the park, and the box with the ring in it fell out of my pocket and she picked it up and started crying right there on the sidewalk”

-there is a lot of “I LOVE MY HUSBAND/I LOVE MY WIFE” yelling and then subsequent crying of happy tears because both are like “I really didn’t expect this to ever happen to me but I’m very content with it and maybe life isn’t that bad”

-the happy crying due to overwhelmingly happy emotions totally intensifies when Morgan comes along

-Libra is the one who primarily stays home with Morgan, by the way, in case what little info one could glean from the content I have posted about this AU wasn’t clear on that

-Robin and Chrom are like.. Best Bros and all, he helped her out after she escaped her family, she’s workin for him and all (but don’t ask me what they do, you think I’ve planned specifics like that? nope) and after she becomes involved with Libra, Chrom finds himself interacting with Libra a lot more often. They already know each other via Lissa and it’s not that they don’t like each other, it’s just that every single interaction Libra has with Chrom is painfully awkward. That remains the same.

There’s a lot more but I can’t think of anything else I wanna include at the moment! I hope that satisfies your questioning for some headcanons and whatnot.

Also, here! Have some art! A lot are just sketches or thumbnails for other stuff but I haven’t gotten around to doing anything with them since I started them.

- we've never gotten it from John. He's such a troll but he's actually really good at fighting. Like I'd his tactical skills are prolly superior than all the other main characters

- that shit is like breathing to him, we saw how easy it was for him in this ep

- and man, did he work hard to get strong. Obvs his talent had a lot of potential, but I think it took him more practice to get as good as he is than the other high tiers. Idk. Clearly they worked hard to, esp blyke, but idk. He seemed to dedicated to it, like Blyke was (is?)

- and the fact that his power increased by a whole number (I think) when he didn't use it or practice for more than two years is impressive

- um, this was supposed to be short idk where all this came from

- anyway, John in the end? Omg. Those last few panels were so fuckin badass.

- like actually, goddamn. I so sorry we didn't get to see the rowden royals faces

- I wonder when the rest of the gang will show up (we need a name for all six of them together, no super six is not acceptable)

- or literally any of the others lol. Sera's gon be so proud of him. If she's not, Im gonna be worried about her bc she's clearly too stressed

- arlos gon pull an isen and just be so done

- meanwhile, isen would pass out seeing on John fighting again

- Remi's jumping in the minute she sees. If she arrives after shed being that one field trip teacher and doing damage control, clearing everyone out, talking to the authorities, making sure safe house kids are okay.

- blykes confused bc he doesn't know how to congratulate/celebrate w John while also being pissed at him (bc obvs, they'll win. John ain't losing to those punks sorry and there's Blyke too they're ded)

Lol to add to ep 250, I found it fucking halarious when they were like "where did that kid come from? He's so POWerfuL" (talking about Blyke) when there were literally four other people, one of whom was standing right there, that are stronger than Blyke. Like their king was probably as strong as Zeke.

At first I was trashing the rowden royals for being so cocky despite being weak, but I realized that legit no one around could fight them. Granted there were four of them, but they were acting super powerful despite prolly being below/around 5. (we're gonna get their stats and I'm gonna so off) Prolly they dominate their turf wars. Which really shows us how freakin insane Wellston is. High tiers are rare, and two god tiers in one place is probably unheard of.

On the flip side, maybe whatever authorities were there had the power to stop them but couldn't be bothered? And obvs the bystander effect was taking place but to think that there wasn't a single person stronger than them?? (Yeah ik people were just being cowards and there probably was someone as strong as them somewhere in the crowd but still) Wellston really is hella op.

You can just add this on to the end of what I sent earlier lol sorry

*So I doubt they’re all high tiers bc if they were he’d probably have more trouble with them

*And they’re not midtiers bc the healing dude and Arlo’s mentioned that only elite tiers and up can extend their abilities to other people

Can induce a blind rage

When the rage is happening the recipient cannot control what they say or do and react simply on their first thought

The rage becomes stronger the more angry the person becomes

Wrath can't bring someone out of the rage. He can induce it but the person has to come out of it themselves

He has almost no control of Apathy because of that due to his lack of emotion

Likes to wear a partial suit. Finds that the coat is restricting and makes more complex movements hard

Still owns the coat. Just never wears it.

Immediate reaction to almost anything is to yell.

Loves huge parties

If he's going to make a point, he makes it loud and clear. Often in front of other people so they can see what happens if you step out of line

Rules the dark sides more like a dictatorship then a family or of equel footing

Believes that they have to bend Thomas to their will and that the light sides are complete fools who will only destroy Thomas life

Wants Thomas to take what he wants and not to worry about who he leaves behind

If Thomas has to kill a politician to get what he wants? Sure go ahead. As long as he gets what he wants

When angry, Wrath is ruthless

He'll take your deepest fear and taunt you with it until you snap under the strain and comply to his every whim

He refuses to take no for an answer

Because of his hatred for the lights; he takes it out on Janus

He's big on public humiliation

If Janus would step out of line; well, he doesn't need all of those scales does he? He's sure Apathy would love to see the reactions if you rip some off

To aid in the control of the others; Wrath has complete control over the food supply

When the others are listening and followings orders. Good, they get to eat properly

When they don't? Your options are moldy bread or cheese that has been out in the open for about a month.

Him and Apathy eat like kings while the others decide between food poisoning and starvation

Likes to take words of affection and make them have a negative meaning (ex: the word Love.) after beating the hell out of someone, he would make them look directly in his eyes and says that he loves them... And he makes them say it back

He hates it when the others cry

Says that they're doing it for attention and that they should shut the fuck up

Apathy

Second in command

Can nullify peoples emotions. Leaving them feeling like an empty shell. The effects normally break after an hour

If Apathy knows your name he can control you like a puppet

White and black outfit. White shirt with black suspenders and pants.

Doesn't show where he keeps his symbol (its on his right ankle, its more like a tattoo then a patch)

Has a deep obsession with fire

Owns a zippo (a lighter that flips open)

Often feels empty due to his function. The fire makes him feel warm, feel more human (as human as the sides can be anyway)

Doesn't quite understand emotion. He understands the basics of it (cry = sad, laugh = hqppy, yell = angry.) but the more complex reactions confuse the hell out of him. Crying out of happiness is one of the things he will never understand.

Because of his lack of understanding of emotions; Apathy tries to understand through making others feel said emotions

Wants to know how someone would react when you break a precious item? Time to find a couple photos.

Will someone scream when you waterboard them? Hm well, only one way to test that.

Opinions change like a flip of a switch

One day he'll help you make dinner with a plastered on smile. The next he'll knock you out and burn you with his lighter with that same smile

Has only properly laughed twice

The first time was when Thomas accidentally laughed at someones funeral (he couldn't cope that the person was gone and his default reaction was to laugh)

The second was after the three of them (wrath, depression and him) shut off the heating to Janus' room and locked him inside

In order to understand things he doesn't know; he does experiments

He's not allowed to experiment on Wrath and Depression has no fun reactions. So he has his fun with Janus instead

Kinda likes it when blood stains his dress shirt

Because its warm. The warmth that once came from the person now belongs to him and it eases the cold empty feeling only slighty and temporary but its warm

He's indifferent on the lights. They're a little too perky for his tastes

Depression

Third in command

Doesn't really get a lot of say with decisions

Can erase certain memories (he doesn't use it very often)

Wears a medium blue dress shirt, brown leather suspenders with a black bowtie.

Normally keeps his sleeve rolled up

When crying; his eyes leak black

If the tears hit your skin, its a 10% chance that you could collapse and start spewing your insecurities while your eyes leak black

Symbol is on the back of his neck

Doesn't really mind not having the control that Apathy and Wrath have

Less work for him to do anyway

Couldn't care about the other twos blatant abuse of Janus

He sees it as a way to keep Janus in line

If Virgil wanted to play father figure he can go ahead. But that doesn't mean he has to be kind

Respects and looks up to Wrath

Normally just follows the lead of the others

He's the epitome of the duckling following the leader

Wrath has steak and potatoes for dinner? Depression also wants that too

Wrath says that they need to bend Thomas to their will? Well duh! Of course!

Wrath says that Janus has been out of line lately? Well why don't we break his leg again to show him a lesson

Most of the time, the food restrictions have no effect on him bc he listens to Wraths every word

Virgil

Was the second in command before he left

Opposed Wrath on his more extreme tactics

Has the ability to control shadows and others own Anxiety

Hated the dress code that Wrath insists on having. What kind of person wears suspenders and a dress shirt daily anyway?

Still wears the stupid things anyway because Wrath said to and he's not in the mood to get beat

After adopting Janus he lost his position as Wrath's right hand

Kinda pissed him off when he got demoted. Not bc of the loss of power. But bc he couldn't protect Janus as well

After adopting Janus he became the 4th in power (after Depression)

Remus

Is the epitome of don't give a shit

He has the power to conjure things and cause intrusive thoughts

Half the time he ignores the dress code completely

Typically opting for his normal clothes but does own a uniform as well

Symbol is tattooed on the swell of his back

Gets practically no opinion on dealings or decisions with plans

Remus is a indifferent party. One moment he'll help you. The next he'll stab you in the back

He mostly just works with who can give him what he wants the fastest

He actually feels pity for Janus

Not like he'll ever act on that but he still feels a bit bad for the guy

Remus is kinda like that uncle at family get togethers that no-one talks to or cares about but he's always there

Janus

Oh boy, where to start?

Has the lowest rank out of every other side

His power (the ability to make people unable to talk) can only be used on the light side of the mind

He is also unable to heal immediately on the dark side

Meaning that he has to treat his wounds the old fashioned way

Doesn't really like the dress code

Only gets to wear his normal outfit when he's visting the light sides

Blond hair (wow! Really? Not like its the the name of the au!!)

His patch isn't a tattoo

This boi has the biggest fucking sweet tooth you could ever imagine

He is also so fucking short

His shoes have lifts to make him taller

He's cold blooded

When he gets focused, he bleps

This is turning fluffy-

He is literally covered head to toe in scars

Almost no skin was left untouched

Lying is a defense mechanism for him. He's deceit! He can lie his way out of anything!

Heavily disagrees on Wraths views

Thomas should get ahead, of course he should. But that shouldn't come at the price of someones life or the cost of his reputation

Hurting someone to get ahead in the short-term is only going to harm you in the long term

To hide the bruses, he applies thick layers of makeup and illusions if he's on the light side

Hasn't gotten a good sleep in years

He's terrified that someone will break into in bedroom while he's sleeping and finish him off

Or that they'll cut the heating again and he'll slowly freeze to death

Or that they'll drag him out of his room and chain him up somewhere to become nothing but a punching bag

He has agoraphobia (fear of open spaces)

Hasn't had positive touch since Virgil left

He has venom. Its very lethal and only activates when threatened

When angry, his eyes glow yellow and his canine teeth grow sharp and long that they stick out of his mouth slightly like fangs

Was meant to be a light side and function as Validity and Societal Self Preservation. But the dark sides found him first and brought him back with them

Virgil is his father figure

Doesn't really know how to feel after finding out that he's not a dark side

He does feel really really lied to and betrayed

But... Virgil is his dad. Virgil raised him

How could he be upset?

Writes down all of his thoughts and complaints in journals that he keeps in his room

He started writing journals when he was very young, so there is hundreds of them

Honestly doesn't know how to feel about him being a light side.

He's mad at Wrath. He knows that. But he can't do anything because his powers don't work on the dark side

He might as well be powerless.

When on the light side (so when all his powers work) his powers include: silencing others, the ability to repress sides/ make them unable to appear to Thomas and illusions.

His title is technically Validity with the added function of societal self preservation

Still goes by Deceit anyway

Has three brands burned onto him via Apathy

Is on his left ankle. Its his snake symbol. About the size of your fist

On his right bicep. The word "monster" in bolded writing. About two fingers in thickness.

Left chest, above his heart. The words "Property of the Dark Sides" in cursive text. The writing sits in a box.

All the brands are extremely painful for Janus if touched. Brand #3 is the brand he hates the most

His scales are more in patches then a perfect 50/50 split down his body
