Today lmao. My wife surprised me with a le creuset braising pan that I had wanted and also I had a therapy appointment.

Since joining up with Artfight I've already noticed a huge change in my art skills. I'm more confident in my sketching phase, my line art is getting better, my rendering is on a whole other level, it's just wild to see the difference! One of the main reasons I joined up with Artfight was to draw more & work on my art skills, & to see actual improvements has been so awesome. I still have a lot to work on, but I'm still hella proud of what I've done :) honestly thinking I may need to find more challenges like this for the rest of the year :p

The first piece is my first attack (OC by user: quackquackquack on AF). The second is my latest piece, a new character I finally added to my roster

23. What’s the one thing you dislike about the roleplaying community on Tumblr?

I would say the formatting taking precedence over the actual writing but that’s not as bad as the art theft. I don’t know how many times I have to spell out to people that if they don’t have permission to use someone’s content, they shouldn’t use it. And the bs excuses that they can’t find the creator in this day and age when it’s usually a simple search, yet they’re fully capable of coding a theme?

10. Are there any fandom(s) you avoid roleplaying in?

MLP, Steven Universe, FNAF, things that generally attract a younger crowd and don’t fit my aesthetic are pretty much a no from me.

11. What made you start wanting to roleplay?

When I was young I met someone else into the same anime and she introduced the concept of roleplaying to me. I somehow had never heard of it before then, and it really clicked with me. Now that I’m more self-aware, I’ve realized it helped my gender dysphoria a lot to roleplay male characters, but I also love writing and character development in general.

23. What’s the one thing you dislike about the roleplaying community on Tumblr?

Drama, but that’s more so any community. Tumblr specifically: I dislike how it’s common to demand faceclaims of real people in order to rp. Giving my characters faceclaims makes me uncomfortable, and I have tons of art of my characters so I don’t see why someone would need to know that they look 10% like Daenerys just to rp. I would much rather forego icons, personally, but they weren’t a thing when I started roleplaying anyway.
