You shouldn't have to work for a relationship. Not the way you think. You should always work to be the best version of yourself, but it shouldn't be work to love someone. Loving them should come effortlessly, without a second thought. Without question, or doubt. So many of us get caught up in the wrong relationship, because we're convinced that with enough work it'll somehow be right. Some people say you have to wake up and choose love every day, and maybe that's not wrong, but at the very least it should be the easiest choice you make on any given day.
I decided to watch a Netflix movie, one with Anna Kendrick, and it's. Uh. Surprisingly enjoyable? It's called "Mr. Right" and I'm just getting Anidala vibes.
"Somewhat insane girl meets a hitman and decides she's into it" is. Wow. This is a great plot so far? I'm having so much fun. Nobody tell me what the general consensus on this film is, my feminism brain is off and my stupid crazy bullshit brain is on.
I think more movies need to be like Mr. Right (2015)
It's unapologetically both a romcom and an action movie. The characters are unhinged, and neither of the black side characters die, in fact the both oscillate for top spot of my favorite character in the movie.
Also our main man love interest hates his legal name and that feels really trans
So honestly I'd really love like 10 more of this movie just swapping out different actors and genders for the roles.
It is solidly my comfort movie, so like.. I've watched it 10ish times in the last 9 months probably
