I-- I am in need of more Mushang or more platonic cucumberplane that leads to misunderstandings, that's my jam this month -sobs- plus I binge-read all your prompts and I'M IN LOVE AND NEED MORE
I’m happy to hear I have once again led another to the blissful paradise that is the MuShang ship. It’s a bit of a wasteland here, but I think with some tender love and care we can cultivate it into a lush garden of fluffy kiss fics and adorable hand-holding dates and maybe even sunset-watching cuddling…. Wouldn’t that be grand?? Help me, join me in my endeavor…. We are burdened here with glorious purpose…
Cucumberplane deserves more fics hands down and I will be yelling this from the rooftops to kingdom come. Let’s get it TOGETHER people!! WHERE are my idiots in love?? Where are my dumbasses who are too shy to hold hands but not too shy to kiss to shut each other up when one is ranting about something stupid?? My numbskulls who both can’t cook to save their lives, literally, and have to eat take out or find a middleman to cook for them, and maybe it evolves into a threesome bc they’re both absolutely pathetic and imprint on people who take care of them like they’re ducklings.

Movement V - Vangelis • El Greco My sona Mushanga.
I opted for a simpler face-style for him, because it is more comfy to draw haha (in my reg style I do draw turtles with beaks and different kind of shells; more like body armor plates with leathery thick skin between for maximum movement and flexibility, 's just how I headcanon turtles in my stories)
But anyway for Mushange I played around a bit, opted for a simple face and went ham on the shell. I already had this concept in mind of putting glass or rather, inkwells on their back but I was not 100% sold on the idea, yet. And then I went on vacation to Venice last week and visited Murano there and can you tell I saw a lot of Murano glass and got inspired by all that glass and colours????? Anyway so yahhhh Mushangas scutes are made up of thick glass filled with inks. He paints with those. They sometimes change in colours depending on were his art takes him, default's turquoises, greens and blues in the middle as those are his fav colours to work with and the smaller ones on the side hold all the reds, oranges, yellows, violets and pinks. (and sometimes you will only find black and gold and silver and copper in there)
I have blue hair on one side of my head (other side is shaved) so blue headscarf it is for Mushanga. I will probably upload art with him on my main more often than not mainly because there is were the furry audience resides and keep this account fanwork related. I just figured I show Mushanga here at least once so you know what face to associate me with in the future XD (notice the changed icon)

Places to visit around Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
There are numerous sightseeing places near Mount Kailash and Mansorvar Lake making the entire yatra a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Below are some of the places near Kailash Mansorvar
Tumblr media
Mount Kailash
Mount Kailash is a mountain that rises 21,778 feet above sea level. Every year tourists flock to this place to catch a glimpse of the marvel and splendour of the place. Mount Kailash is one of the world’s highest peak points in the southwest corner of Tibet among the mighty Himalayan ranges.
Apart from that it is a source of four main rivers that include the Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Ganges and Indus. Apart from that the spiritual significance of the place draws in a lot of people this is a magnificent pilgrimage site that is visited by people of all religious groups
Nandi Parvat
Nandi is Lord Shiva’s Wahan and it is believed that Nandi exists in the form of Nandi Parvat This is shaped like the Nandi and is located Near Mount Kailash. Nandi is worshipped as Lords messenger as devotees believe that they can communicate with Lord Shiva by whispering message into Nandi’s ears. When visiting Nandi, you can come across numerous spiritual sites.
Kailash Parikrama
Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva are said to live on Mount Kailash. According to Shiva Purana, circumambulating the mountain aids in the purification of all sins. The journey is 53 km long and it does take 3 days to complete. The journey is a thrill in itself with many challenges posed by extreme weather with a scarcity of oxygen.
Muktinath
One of the hallowed temples for the Hindus and Buddhists the temple is situated at the foot of Thorong La Mountain Pass in Mushang, Nepal. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3710 metres and is one of the 51 Shakti Peetha goddess sites. For the Hindus, the holy site of MuktiNath is referred to as Mukti Shetra which means the place of liberation. Hindus believe that Lord Vishnu attained liberation from the curse of Brinda
Yam Dwar
It is placed at a height of 15,000 feet approx. this is one of the important destinations of Mount Kailash. This takes around 30 minutes to drive from Darchen to reach Yam Dwar. This is the starting point of the circumnutation of Mount Kailash. According to many Tibetans, the holy deity Demchok resides at  Mount Kailash. Every year a religious ceremony takes place where a new flag pole is established at Tarboche.
Siwasthal
Siwasthal is located 3 km away from Deraphuk Enroute to Dolma La Pass. It is referred to as the replication of the funeral ground in Budh Gaya in Bihar. The general assumption is that those who visit the place experience a metaphorical death and enter the presence of Yama. The rebirth takes place at Dola La. Clothes, shoes along with bags are scattered there. There are offerings made by pilgrims who visit the place. Some unusual forms of offerings like bones, hair and blood are also made by the people here.
Tarboche
Tarboche is a popular flag pole that stands great on Mount Kailash. The flagpole remains draped in a colourful Tibetan shade. One of the crucial aspects of the festival is replacing the Taboche flag. As part of the ceremony, the flag is erected and a new flag is put in its place. The festival is celebrated commensurate with Sakyamuni’s enlightenment.
To sum up things these are some of the tourist attractions around Kailash Mansorvar that you can visit. It is suggested that you plan your trip properly so that you can cover all these places.

Just Disney anti things: Shipping Rapunzel and Flynn is abusive due to the age gap, shipping Mulan and Shang is abusive due to the initial "Ping" lie, and shipping Moana with any man is bad because her actress is bi and bi = lesbian and actor = character. But it's okay that one of the heads of the OG Disney critical blog sexually groomed minors into having cybersex with them since they don't ship Flynnpunzel or Mushang or Moana/anyone. Shipping entitles you to a little rape, as a treat.

“Night.Frost” 《夜。霜傳》Masterpost
Tumblr media
The Story
When Lan MuShuang, a young but passionate sword-wielding exorcist from HanHui, ended up in modern Hong Kong out of desperation, he enlisted the help of ShangGuan YeLing, a talented but lethargic violin-wielding exorcist, and his companions to rescue his master and adopted brother who’d been captured by the Xuan Yuan clan for a scroll that supposedly held the sealed powers of many spirits.
During the strange and perilous journey between two dimensions, they would meet and befriend different crafter clans, and battle against those who sought to use the scroll for malevolent purposes. But between finding out the true power of the Chiliadal Spirit Scroll and combating against the powerful XuanYuan clan, and engaging with the mysterious Imperial Court, would Lan MuShang and ShangGuan YeLing get over their differences and finally admit their feelings for each other?

The Players [Click on their names for more details and illustrations, if available.]
The Mains
Lan MuShuang | 藍慕霜 Gender: Male Age: 19 Affiliation: N/A Weapon: Sword  (RuiXue| 瑞雪) Bio: Orphaned at two years old since he’d displayed crafting powers, he was adopted and raised by Lan YuYang, who was like a teacher and father to him. He’s loud, curious, enthusiastic, and always wants to do his best to help others, which often lands him into all sorts of trouble. In his spare time, he likes to cook and explore. Since he’s come to Hong Kong though, he’s grown quite addicted to video games and iced milk tea.
ShangGuan YeLing | 上官夜凌 Gender: Male Age: 25 Affiliation: ShangGuan Clan | Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Violin (RuQi | 如泣) Bio: A family member of the prestigious ShangGuan clan, he’s trained to be an exceptional exorcist in musical craft, though his lethargic and sarcastic attitude often offends others. Despite his cold exterior, he’s protective of those he cares about and will spring into action when the situation calls for it. He enjoys playing video games and hates socializing. He hopes to one day get out of the family business and makes his living by being a music journalist.
The Allies
ShangGuan YueYou | 上官月優 Gender: Female Age: 31 Affiliation: ShangGuan Clan | Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Xiao/vertical flute (ChuanHun | 穿魂) Bio: As the captain of MSC and future chief of the ShangGuan clan, she excels at planning and leading her team during hunting missions while remaining a strong exorcist in her own right. Though she’s good at socializing with the higher-ups, she absolutely hates doing it. She enjoys baking to unwind from work-related stress.
Nie Kai | 聶凱 Gender: Female Age: 25 Affiliation: Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Cello (RuSu | 如訴) Bio: Despite her punk-rock style and make-up, she’s a resourceful exorcist and a valuable member of MSC. Her happy-go-lucky nature makes her approachable and easy to be friends with. Her father passed away due to illness when she was young, so she shares a close relationship with her mother. When not working or stressing over grad school, she likes dragging her bff YeLing around town and attending concerts.
LingHu Zhe | 令狐哲 Gender: Male Age: 29 Affiliation: Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Sniper rifle (ShanLing | 閃靈) Bio: As MSC’s trusty vice-captain, he plays the caring big brother role in the team. His wife, who was also an exorcist, passed away during a mission, and so he’s especially protective of his only son, five-year-old Yu (宇). He likes to read trashy romance novels and can sing cartoon theme songs (from all the shows he watches with Yu).
Touma | 冬舞 Gender: Male Age: ? Affiliation: Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Sword (HanHeng | 酣恒) Bio: A water guardian spirit from Japan, he starts haunting Zhe after a certain incident but ends up staying at MSC as some sort of unofficial spiritual consultant. In his original dragon form, he can fly, summon storms, and control water. He likes writing poetry as a way to flirt but is terrible at it; he does excel in dancing.
Seraphine Tremblay Gender: Female Age: 18 Affiliation: Moon Shoal Club (MSC) Weapon: Staff Bio: The youngest and newest member of MSC, she doesn’t have a lot of field experience as an exorcist but is important in providing accurate and up-to-date data during missions. Since she’s quite shy and mild, she has trouble making friends since she comes to Hong Kong, but she’s getting better at opening up to others, especially to Kai.
XuanYuan HaiQin | 軒轅海琴 Gender: Female Age: 24 Affiliation: XuanYuan Clan ShiShen: TengShe (騰蛇) Weapon: Bow (QingLiu | 清流) and arrows; poison Bio: The younger twin of HaiXian, she’s raised under the protection of her older brother. She has a sweet and mild disposition, which makes others underestimate her archery abilities in combat. She’s also an excellent healer and poison crafter. When not experimental with herbs, she’s often found hiking in the mountains to search for rare specimens.
The Baddies
XuanYuan HaiXian | 軒轅海弦 Gender: Male Age: 24 Affiliation: XuanYuan Clan ShiShen: TianKong (天空) Weapon: Dual Daggers (PiaoYang & TunHu | 飄洋&吞湖) Bio: The young leader of the powerful XuanYuan clan, he’s charming yet manipulative, and is planning to unite all crafter clans to overthrow the current government, which he blames for the deaths of his parents and kinsmen a long time ago. Despite his terrifying mood swings, he genuinely cares for his younger twin sister. When not organizing a rebellion, he enjoys going to the theatre to watch plays and other performances.
Zhen QiuLi | 甄秋離 Gender: Male Age: 30s Affiliation: Imperial Family Weapon: N/A Bio: Uncle of Zhen TieYing, who’s the current emperor of HanHui, he was the regent of the kingdom for 15 years after his older brother KuanDong passed away. He’s persuasive, controlling, and despises crafters and the supposed threat that they pose in society.
The Undetermined
Lan NiFeng | 藍逆風 Gender: Male Age: 22 Affiliation: N/A Weapon: Various hidden weapons Bio: Abandoned by his parents due to his paralyzed legs since birth, he was adopted by Lan YuYang. He’s trained in the use of hidden weapons and has designed/built his own wheelchair to keep various craft-enhanced tools and weapons in. He’s humble, sentimental, resilient, and protective of those he cares about.
LuQiu XieHuai | 閭丘寫懷 Gender: Male Age: 28 Affiliation: LuQiu Clan Weapon: N/A Bio: Born with psionic powers, the eldest brother of the LuQiu family can sense and sway a crowd’s emotions. As a clan leader, he wants to do what’s best for his clansmen’s interests, which means that politically, he can be a bit of a fence-sitter and leans on the side that benefits his clan the most.
LuQiu JueShi | 閭丘絕詩 Gender: Female Age: 21 Affiliation: LuQiu Clan Weapon: Emei daggers (ChenXiangQingCi | 沈香青磁) Bio: With the powers to invade and trigger pain on another’s mind, she wields the emei daggers in addition to her powers, which makes her a formidable opponent in a one-on-one combat. She’s responsible, looks somewhat terrifying with her default solemn expression, and has strong mental defenses, though she often underestimates the abilities of others.
LuQiu BieShi | 閭丘別詩 Gender: Female Age: 21 Affiliation: LuQiu Clan Weapon: Rope dart (LingLiu | 靈柳) Bio: As the younger twin of JueShi, she’s the most irresponsible one out of the four siblings in the family, but with her powers to manipulate physical objects, she’s also a tough fighter when partnering with her twin. She’s often found avoiding her usual work duties by running around in the wild to hunt or wandering in town.
LuQiu DaoFei | 閭丘道非 Gender: Male Age: 12 Affiliation: LuQiu Clan Weapon: Crossbow (SheTian | 射天) Bio: As the youngest in the family, his three siblings often spoil him, but he wants nothing more than to grow up faster so he can help XieHuai to manage clan affairs. He’s reserved but thoughtful, and lacks self-confidence in physical combats though he’s good with the crossbow. He has the power to read people’s thoughts.
SiKong ChuGe | 司空楚歌 Gender: Female Age: 26 Affiliation: SiKong Clan Weapon: Deer-horn knives (WeiYueJinXing | 薇月金星); qiang/spear (ShanChui | 山吹) Bio: Being the current and first female leader of the SiKong clan, she’s trained herself hard in order to get to where she is today; growing up in that sort of environment has also made her into someone who tries to take on too much responsibilities and not good at asking for help. She has a feline familiar that fights alongside her. She’s married to YuXi and QiaoYun.
Gu YuXi | 古羽曦 Gender: Male Age: 25 Affiliation: SiKong Clan Weapon: Sword (RuoZhu | 若竹) Bio: Being the youngest of the three, he’s often overlooked because of his seemingly flippant attitude, but when ChuGe is about to go ballistic, he’s the first to be at her side to smooth things over. He has a playful white tiger familiar that fights alongside him.
Wen QiaoYun | 溫巧韻 Gender: Female Age: 27 Affiliation: SiKong Clan Weapon: Dual-wielding swords (QianSui & XinQiao |  千歲 & 新橋) Bio: As the eldest of the three, she’s the anchor of their work and romantic relationship. Since her craft of flower-creation is viewed as a weak offensive, she’s trained especially hard with dual-wielding swords and is the best swordsman in the clan. She was the one who proposed the three of them to get officially sanctified by the clan’s elder.
Zhen TieYing | 甄鐵櫻 Gender: Male Age: 17 Affiliation: Imperial Family Weapon: N/A Bio: Current emperor of HanHui, his inexperience makes him an easy target for his uncle QiuLi to take advantage of, but he’s not planning to remain passive as he fights for the crafter community’s rights.
Sang ChenYi | 桑晨逸 Gender: Male Age: 17 Affiliation: Imperial Family Weapon: Guqin (ShuSe | 曙色) Bio: Eldest son of Sang RuiHua and closest friend to TieYing, he’s a musical crafter who’s attained his powers through his mother’s side of the family. Since the Imperial court has been known to hunt down anyone who even shows a trace of craft powers, he’s been instructed by his mother to hide his craft from everyone.

Sluggish Economic Growth Characterized by Slow Recovery
Tumblr media
In a note released by his firm last Friday, the Chief Executive Officer, Financial Derivatives Company (FDC) Limited, Mr. Bismarck Rewane, stated that the dip in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)’s June manufacturing and non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) suggests the country could be set to report that economic growth again slowed in the second quarter of this year. The latest PMI report released by the apex bank last Tuesday indicates that the manufacturing PMI eased to 57.4 index points in June from 57.8 index points in May. The report also showed that the Non-Manufacturing PMI declined in the month of June to 58.6 from 58.9 in May. NBS Q1 GDP 2019 report Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in May showed that the nation’s economy expanded more slowly in the first quarter of 2019 than it did in the fourth quarter of last year. The NBS, in its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Report for first quarter of 2019, said the GDP grew by 2.01 per cent in the first quarter, compared to 2.38 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2018.   The Bureau stated: “It is worth noting that general elections were held across the country during the first quarter of 2019 and this may have reflected in the strongest first-quarter performance observed since 2015.”
Tumblr media
IMF revises growth forecast Indeed, since the country exited recession in the second quarter of 2017, it has struggled with sluggish growth. For instance, the economy grew by only 1.9 per cent in 2018. Also, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had last January – a few  weeks to the elections- revised down its GDP projection for Nigeria this year to 2.0 per cent from its earlier forecast of 2.3 per cent. It also projected a 2.2 per cent economic growth for Nigeria next year, lowering the initial estimate from 2.5 per cent for 2020. Although the IMF subsequently revised Nigeria’s growth for this year upwards to 2.1 per cent, in April this year, its counterpart Bretton Woods’ institution, the World Bank, early last month revised down its own GDP forecast for the country to 2.1 per cent in 2019 from its earlier projection of 2.2 per cent.   Attention turns to growth Thus, with the elections concluded and following Muhammadu Buhari’s second inauguration as Nigeria’s president on May 29, stakeholder groups and financial experts wasted no time in letting him know that his primary task was to immediately take steps to accelerate economic growth. For instance, at a roundtable session dubbed, “Going for Growth,” held in Lagos about a fortnight ago, President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, called for an urgent solution to the problem of poor power supply in the country, stressing that Nigeria cannot achieve sustainable economic growth without adequate power supply.   He said: “How do you have economic growth without power? So, no power, no growth; without power, there can’t be growth. Egypt increased its electricity by 10 gigawatts, which is equivalent to 10,000 megawatts in 18 months.”   Dangote said that all stakeholders must come together and support government in finding a solution to power challenges in the country. Apart from power, Mr. Dangote suggested that government focuses more on three areas, which include finance, manufacturing and agriculture. According to him, the Asian Tigers   concentrated on developing these three sectors to take them to their current level of socio-economic development. He also urged the CBN and commercial banks in the country to work towards reducing lending rates as well as developing consumer credit products in order to encourage low income earners to access credit facilities.   Emefiele’s speech However, speaking at the event, CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, stated that while the apex bank was desirous of achieving a low interest rate regime to stimulate economic growth, this, was, however, not feasible now given the high inflationary environment in the country.   He said: “In fact, for us at CBN, achieving a low interest rate regime will give us a great sense of accomplishment. Indeed, given our determination to stimulate economic growth, it is obvious that we would want to pursue a policy of moderating interest rates. Yet, in an environment where inflation recently was as high as 18.72 per cent, it would be counter-productive to reduce interest rates because any attempt to ease interest rates under a high inflationary environment will no doubt retard growth.” He also pointed out that apart from the high inflationary environment Nigeria’s high interest regime, “reflects not only the cost of capital, but also the cost of doing business in the country.” According to him, a typical bank branch in the country provides its own security that sometimes includes permanent police presence, its own electricity supply with several generators, diesel tanks and inverters as well as its own broad band Internet services. The CBN boss explained: “For banks whose main source of income is from interest earnings, these deficiencies become costs, which it (banks) must necessarily pass on to borrowers.”
Tumblr media
CBN gov’s 2nd term agenda In fact, in the wake of his reappointment for another term of five years, Emefiele, last Monday, held a press conference where he disclosed that one of the key objectives the CBN would pursue during his second term in office would be work with the fiscal authorities to achieve double digit growth for the country in the next five years.   MPR cut In fact, in order to boost economic growth, the CBN’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) had at its meeting in March, cut the benchmark interest rate- the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) by 50 basis points from 14.00 to 13.50 per cent. CBN had left the rate unchanged at 14 per cent since July 2016. However, since that reduction in MPR, the inflation rate has risen from 11. 25 per cent in March, to 11.37 per    cent and 11.4 per cent, in April and May respectively, thereby compelling the MPC to leave rates unchanged at its last meeting.   Planned recapitalisation of banks Another important announcement that Emefiele made at the press conference was that the CBN will pursue a programme of recapitalising the banking industry to ensure that the country’s lenders rank among the top 500 banks in the world. According to him, the recapitalisation of Nigerian banks was long overdue because the last time such an exercise was carried out was in 2004 when the capital base of lenders was raised from N2 billion to N25 billion. Emefiele said: “In the next five years, we intend to pursue a program of recapitalising the banking industry so as to position Nigerian banks among the top 500 in the world. Banks will therefore be required to maintain higher level of capital, as well as liquid assets in order to reduce the impact of an economic crisis on the financial system.”   He also noted that the last recapitalisation exercise: “resulted in positioning Nigerian banks not only in Africa but also being among the top banks in the world in terms of capitalisation and also helped to increase and strengthen the banks’ capacity to take on large ticket transactions and those are some of the things we badly need today.” Specifically, he said: “If you relate it, N25 billion in 2004 exchange rate, which was about N100/$, N25 billion is almost about $200 million today, if you relate N25 billion at 360, you can see that it is substantially lower than $75 million so what we are trying to say is that the capitalisation has weakened quite substantially, and there is a need for us to say that it is time to recapitalize Nigerian banks again.”   MFBs minimum capital requirements Interestingly, CBN had, in the first quarter of this year, reviewed the minimum capital requirements for micro-finance banks (MFBs) in the country. The regulator, last October, raised the minimum capital base for the three categories of MFBs with December 31st 2020 as the deadline for compliance. The minimum capital base for national MFBs was raised to N5 billion from N2 billion, state MFBs was increased to N1 billion from N200 million while that of Unit MFBs was increased to N100 million from N20 million.   In a circular it issued in March, the banking watchdog announced a graduated extension of the deadline to April 2021, even as it categorised Unit MFBs into two namely Tier 1 Unit MFBs and Tier 2 Unit MFBs. According to the circular: “Unit microfinance banks shall comprise two tiers; Tier 1 Unit MfBs, which shall operate in the urban and high density banked areas of the society; and Tier 2 Unit MfBs, which shall operate only in the rural, unbanked or underbanked areas.”   Furthermore, while the minimum capital base for Tier 1 Unit MFBs was retained at N200 million, that of Tier 2 MFBs was adjusted downward to N50 million. CBN also stated: “To aid the process of recapitalisation, all MFBs shall be required to comply with the following: Tier 1 MFBs shall meet a N100 million capital threshold by April 2020 and N200 million by April    2021. Tier 2 Unit MFBs shall meet a N35 million capital threshold by April 2020 and N50 million by April 2021. A State MFB shall increase its capitalisation to N500 million by 2020 and N1 billion by April 2021 and National MFB shall hold capital of N3.5 billion by April 2020 and N5 billion by April 2021.”   Moody’s stable outlook for banking However, while the DMBs may indeed need to strengthen their capital base, they still received a largely positive report from one of the world’s leading credit rating agencies, Moody’s Investors Service. In a recent report, the agency announced that it was keeping its outlook on the Nigerian banks stable to reflect the industry’s resilient capital buffers and stable deposit bases, with high risks likely to subside as the economy is expected to strengthen. “Nigerian banks’ asset risk and profitability will remain key rating challenges, but we expect these challenges to gradually decline in 2020 as the economy picks up,” said Peter Mushangwe, Analyst at Moody’s.   “Banks’ funding and liquidity profiles will remain stable thanks to solid deposit bases.” In the report, the rating agency predicted that non-performing loans (NPLs) will decline to between seven and eight per cent over the outlook period from 11.7 per cent at year-end 2018 – but still at a high level; and that system-wide tangible common equity will be stable at 16 per cent of risk-weighted assets at year-end 2018, thereby sufficient to bear losses. The report also pointed out that “banks revenue will be restrained by subdued loan growth while cost pressures, due to IT investments and AMCON levy2 and higher staff costs will slow pre-provision profitability.”
Tumblr media
Besides, it stated: “Moody’s expects Nigeria’s real GDP to expand 2.3 per cent in 2019 and 2.8 per cent in 2020, up from 1.9 per cent last year, but well below the level required to improve living standards. Lending growth will recover in the second half of the year following a contraction in 2018, but it will remain subdued and will not appreciably boost banking revenue.”   Last line The consensus in financial circles was that while the outlook on the banking system may be stable, especially given that Access and Diamond banks successfully concluded their business combination in the first half of this year, the prospects of the economy would depend on if President Buhari appoints brilliant individuals into his cabinet who will ensure that the fiscal authorities and CBN work together to accelerate growth. This turned out longer than I intended! @k-l-ng
“Where are you going?!” Shang Qinghua demands, voice breaking on the very verge of hysterical.
Liu Qingge pauses in the door. “... Leaving.”
“To where?”
He glares over his shoulder at the An Ding peak lord. “A hunt.”
“No!” Shang Qinghua slams the scrolls in his arms down on the (rarely used) writing desk of Liu Qingge’s (also rarely used) office. His open palms slap loudly against the wood. “Liu-shidi, you can’t! There’s paperwork that you have to fill out for this quarter! Forms I need you to sign!”
Liu Qingge waves a hand dismissively. “Will do them when I get back.” He says.
Shang Qinghua blinks, watching as the taller man once again turns to leave. The An Ding peak lord clenches his jaw and releases a low growl, pushing against the desk. “No!”
A burst of qi enhances the movement, and sends the desk flying across the room to slam into the wall beside the door, barely an inch away from where Liu Qingge is standing. The scrolls and inkwell loll about but come to rest without being much disturbed.
Liu Qingge jerks back. His hand flies to the hilt of his sword, and he whips his head around to scowl incredulously over at his fellow peak lord, whose head is bowed.
“It’ll be too late then, we’ll already be well into the next quarter when you get back. Shidi has to go through the forms now.”
The words come out through gritted teeth. Shang Qinghua, head still bowed and shoulders tense, gripping at his own sleeves as he trembles, sits himself down on the cushion that had once been set before the desk. He lifts his head up, then, to stare at Liu Qingge expectantly, expression dull and flat.
“Shidi has to go through the forms now.” He says again.
“Okay,” Liu Qingge agrees, voice low. He removes his hand off his sword, even though he can still feel the tingling resistance of his fellow peak lord’s qi turning in the air of the confined space of the room.
He reaches out with a foot to prod at the desk that now sits beside him. Nothing happens, so he peers over at the silent Shang Qinghua warily before nudging the furniture a little ways over and sitting down beside it on the hard floor.
Liu Qingge eyes the assortment of scrolls and files with distaste, but he can feel the ceaseless stare of the An Ding peak lord boring holes into his back, so he grabs the first one of the pile and rolls it open.
It takes three hours to get through the whole stack. Shang Qinghua stays for the entire time, not once moving from his cushion, like he thinks that Liu Qingge will give up and leave without finishing the paperwork if he doesn’t stay and watch him to make sure. Which is ridiculous. Liu Qingge would never.
He glances down at the financial statement of the Bai Zhan sect allowance coffers for the last few months and curls his lip as he’s forced to dig around in the papers for the correct corresponding audit report, brush clenched tightly in the white knuckled grip of his other hand.
… Liu Qingge might.
Once he’s finished, he hangs his brush on its hook and glances regretfully at the window. The light of the day is already beginning to dim, giving way to the evening, and the optimal time for setting off on a journey has already passed. He might as well just stay the rest of the night in the sect and leave early the next morning for his planned hunting grounds, at this rate.
The Bai Zhan lord sighs, cracking the knuckles of his hand against his palm, and turns back to look at his uninvited guest. Shang Qinghua seems to have fallen asleep sitting up, somehow, while he was waiting for Liu Qingge to finish. He’s slumped down, head bowed toward the floor in a way that can’t be good for his spine, but nothing a little qi circulation won’t fix.
Liu Qingge climbs up from the floor and rubs the feeling back into his legs. They’re sore, after having been knelt upon for the past three hours without any sort of padding underneath him. Like a cushion. He leaves the desk where it is and crosses the room to nudge Shang Qinghua awake with his foot. He keeps one hand curled loosely round the hilt of his sword, in case the other man decides to blow up at him like he had earlier when Liu Qingge had suggested postponing the paperwork.
Instead, Shang Qinghua goes along with his nudge, falling almost bonelessly back against the cushion. He lifts his head drowsily, and looks up at Liu Qingge with some sort of confusion in his eyes. His gaze is distant, like he’s not quite seeing him yet.
“Did you forget where you are?” Liu Qingge asks coolly.
Shang Qinghua blinks slowly. “... Shidi?” It comes out in a mumble.
“The paperwork is done. Leave.”
“... Mmh….”
Liu Qingge feels his brow tick in irritation. He reaches down and grabs the squirrelly man by the collar of his robes, roughly lifting him up and onto his feet. It’s a harsh but efficient method to wake someone up and have them become fully alert quicker. He uses it on his peak disciples all the time.
Except, Shang Qinghua does not become alert. The moment Liu Qingge releases his collar, the man’s legs buckle beneath him, and the swordmaster is forced to catch him around the waist before he can go sprawling in a heap on the floor. Shang Qinghua’s head falls forward limply, like a doll’s, coming to rest against Liu Qingge’s chest.
It’s in that second that Liu Qingge realizes that something is wrong. Beyond Shang Qinghua having a sudden temper that is incredibly out of character for him, he’s running much too warm. Liu Qingge only wears a modest four layers, but his robes are thickly and tightly woven, purposed for battle and sparring. They’re great for the cold months, as they trap heat in, and work well in the hotter seasons because it takes the sun a bit longer to seep through the weave.
So, Liu Qingge should not be able to feel the heat pulsing from Shang Qinghua’s forehead when the man’s face has only been pressed against his robes for barely a handful of moments.
He fists a hand in the back of Shang Qinghua’s robes and pulls the man back slightly in order to get a look at his face, and curses. Rivers of cold sweat bead down from the An Ding peak lord’s brow, which is creased in pain. His eyes are closed, and from the added weight Liu Qingge is registering, the man might actually have fallen unconscious in his arms.
Liu Qingge glares across the room at the stack of paperwork he’d just finished, as if they are at fault for all his current problems, and then reaches down to scoop up Shang Qinghua’s legs. He hauls the smaller and much lighter cultivator over into his private rooms and lies him out on Liu Qingge’s bed.
Shang Qinghua curls in on himself, a tiny, breathless whimper escaping his mouth as he pants and gasps into the sheets. The cold sweat decorating his face soaks the pillow almost immediately.
Liu Qingge turns on his heel and heads out of the house. He marches down the path until he catches sight of a gaggle of disciples likely wandering from one training ground to another. Or maybe the eating hall, how the hell would Liu Qingge know. What time is it, dinner?
“You!” He calls, and something inside him curls, pleased, at the way all five of them jump at the sound, scrambling to stand at attention the very second they realize it’s him. “One of you go and summon Mu Qingfang. Immediately.”
“Shizun?” One of them asks, confused but nonetheless hurrying to unsheathe his sword and climb upon it before the others have a chance to do so.
Quick wits, that one. Liu Qingge might have to take him out on a hunt sometime. He commits the boy’s face to memory, and turns back toward the house.
“Make it fast,” he throws over his shoulder as he climbs back up the path.
He finds himself standing over Shang Qinghua, staring down at his fellow peak lord as the man lies curled up on his side on top of the covers. Shang Qinghua has his arms wrapped around himself like he’s somehow cold despite the raging fever that’s coursing through his body. Now that Liu Qingge is getting a better look at him, he can see that the man is incredibly pale, paler than can be healthy, and there are smudges beneath his eyes so dark that Liu Qingge isn’t sure how he missed them before. It’s almost as if Shang Qinghua had dipped his finger in soot and drawn them under each eye himself, they’re so distinct.
It makes something uncomfortable twist in Liu Qingge’s stomach. Shang Qinghua looks weak, in this moment, and usually the thought would make Liu Qingge scoff at him, because that is par the course with the An Ding peak lord, but he’s never seen any of his martial family look so… sickly, before.
He’s kneeling stiffly beside the bed when the door is thrown open to admit a frazzled looking Mu Qingfang, who takes one look at them both before marching over and kneeling directly on the bed to hover over Shang Qinghua.
“What happened?” The doctor demands, searching the unconscious and listless peak lord for injuries, his fingers roaming from pulse point to pulse point in an examination of his qi.
“He came to make me do paperwork,” Liu Qingge begins gruffly. “Stayed to make sure I’d do it. I did, but he fell asleep while he was waiting, and when I woke him up…” The swordmaster glares down at his knees, hands clenched in the fabric of his pants.
“What, shixiong?” Mu Qingfang asks, impatient. He’s got his palm pressed over Shang Qinghua’s heart, and the expression on his face isn’t a reassuring one.
“He couldn’t stand,” Liu Qingge grumbles, glare becoming more fierce for all that it doesn’t have a target other than his own hands. “He fainted, so I laid him on my bed and sent a disciple for you.”
Mu Qingfang sits back, both hands now pressed against Shang Qinghua’s chest. The low glow of his qi encircles them as it pours forth and into the An Ding peak lord’s channels.
“Did he seem at all off to you, before that? Was he perhaps acting in ways he normally does not?”
“... Yes.”
Mu Qingfang frowns at him, distracted as he is by his examination of his patient. “That doesn’t really give me any information, shixiong.”
“....” Liu Qingge shifts, like he’s some sort of junior disciple kneeling in punishment for disobedience. It’s what it feels like, almost. “He threw the table at me with his qi.”
The doctor actually pauses. His hands lift off Shang Qinghua as he stares over at Liu Qingge in surprise. The unconscious peak lord groans, and Mu Qingfang quickly returns to channeling him qi, but he still stares at Liu Qingge in shock.
“He… threw furniture at you? Why?”
Liu Qingge clears his throat. He turns his glare back to his knees. “I was leaving, for a hunt.”
“But didn’t you say he had paperwork for you?”
“... Yes.”
Mu Qingfang frowns in confusion. “Then what—” His eyes widen. “Liu-shixiong! You were going to leave without doing it?”
The Bai Zhan lord scowls defensively. “I would have done it when I got back!”
“From what I can recall, it’s almost time for the quarterly reports. If you’d left without doing your share, you would have made Shang Qinghua have to finish it all for you.” Mu Qingfang pins him with a narrow-eyed look. “How irresponsible of you, shixiong, trying to foist your duties off on our already clearly overworked martial brother. No wonder he reacted so violently, especially if…”
The doctor trails off, glancing down at Shang Qinghua as the man shifts under his hands. The An Ding peak lord whines softly into the pillow that’s been soaked in his own sweat, twisting under the covers as if he’s in pain. From how he’s been acting since Liu Qingge woke him up, he… probably is.
“If what?” Liu Qingge demands, rising up part way from where he kneels, eyes locked on the man currently taking up his bed.
But Mu Qingfang’s surged to his feet, distracted now. His patient is waking.
Shang Qinghua blinks up at them with bleary eyes. He only takes the time for a single, confused, wheezing breath before he’s trying to sit up. Both peak lords place a hand on either of his shoulders and guide him back down to the bed. Immediately, the An Ding peak lord looks stricken.
“No, no,” he says, eyes wide and face pale. “No, no, no, no! I need to — I need to go work! I don’t have time to… I—I’m gonna fall behind!”
“Lay down, shixiong,” Mu Qingfang gently insists.
“I’m gonna fall behind,” Shang Qinghua whimpers, tears leaking out of his eyes.
He takes a shuddering breath and brings both hands up, as if he’s contemplating fighting the both of them off, but then he scrubs at his face with them instead and releases another sad, hurt sound that makes Liu Qingge’s stomach tie itself in a knot.
“I’m gonna fall behind,” Shang Qinghua repeats, voice cracking. His eyes are glazed over and tearful.
“Shh, shixiong,” Mu Qingfang soothes, brushing back their martial brother’s sweat-soaked bangs with his hand. “It’s going to be okay.”
Liu Qingge is useless, helping to hold Shang Qinghua down and watching helplessly as the Qian Cao peak lord does his best to comfort him. It doesn't really work, but Mu Qingfang does eventually manage to coax Shang Qinghua back into a fitful sleep.
Liu Qingge crosses his arms over his chest. His hands shake with intensity, and so he clenches them into fists so tight that his knuckles turn a mottled white. He turns to stare at the doctor as the other man finishes tucking the blanket securely around a quietly sniffling Shang Qinghua’s shoulders.
“So?” He demands.
Mu Qingfang is silent for a moment, gazing down at his new patient with an unreadable expression. Slowly, he shakes his head, and Liu Qingge unclenches and clenches his fists as he waits for a response.
Finally, Mu Qingfang sighs and runs a hand through his hair, disrupting its previously neat style. “This should not have happened,” he says quietly. “This should not have been able to happen.”
“What shouldn’t have?” Liu Qingge grits out.
“Any of this!” Mu Qingfang exclaims, and sits back down on the edge of the bed, careful not to disturb its sleeping occupant. “He should not have even gotten to this point! His workload shouldn’t be heavy enough to cause any of this, and yet…”
“It has,” Liu Qingge says, and uncrosses his arms in order to wrap his hands around the hilt of his sword. “He’s doing his own workload, in addition to much of the work of the other peaklords, including…” He struggles not to unsheathe his sword, because the only enemy in this situation is himself. His voice lowers a pitch out of shame. “Including me.”
“And me,” Mu Qingfang is quick to add, looking down at his fitfully slumbering patient with a sorrowful expression on his face. “I cannot deny that I have also pushed some of my own responsibilities onto his shoulders, upon occasion. Alone, it wouldn’t be much, but if I and ten other peak lords are doing it, then…”
“The workload grows exponentially,” Liu Qingge finishes, scowling. He gestures with his chin at the unconscious peak lord in his bed, and says, “What else, then? He’s been shouldering it for decades now. If he was going to break under the strain it would have happened before now.”
Mu Qingfang gives a slow nod, reaching out to press the back of his hand against Shang Qinghua’s forehead to check on his fever. The grimace that decorates his face makes Liu Qingge glare at the floor, especially when the doctor gently grabs Shang Qinghua’s too-thin wrist and once again begins circulating qi through the connection.
“His cultivation level is much too high to allow for any natural sickness. His core would flood his immune system and destroy any disease that attempts to take hold. For him to even get sick in the first place, let alone this terribly — his core would have had to face a tremendous imbalance.”
“A qi deviation?” Liu Qingge pushes off the wall and begins to pace furiously. “Impossible. We’d have noticed.”
Mu Qingfang turns his head away, passing qi into his patient in silence.
Liu Qingge stops, and glares at the man. “Someone would have noticed,” he says tightly.
The doctor doesn’t respond. The tenseness of his shoulders, however, speaks for him.
Liu Qingge turns on his heel and storms out of the house.

性对人的交往有多大帮助! 金庸都告诉你了, 拼歹歹为啥还不倒闭捏杂谈
@mushang写道:
